Summary:
Michaela’s fingers, which are a bit cold, graze the inside of her wrist. “It’s not innocent like this.” She whispers now too, fingers slide up her forearm.
That certainly doesn’t feel innocent to Francesca, who bites down on her lip to suppress a whimper at the contact she’s not at all used to.
Most touches did not feel as Michaela’s fingers do now, tracing across the inside of her arm, pushing up the sleeve of her dress so that skin can meet skin in some distracting sort of way that immediately sparks a new melody in Francesca’s head. As her fingers dance in what is supposed to be an innocent action across the soft skin of her forearm, she is finding it harder and harder to breathe in any air.
“Many nights in France I found places full of the kind of touch that you cannot possibly imagine.” Michaela is still watching every feature on her face, so closely that it would make her self-conscious about it if she wasn’t so distracted by the way her careful fingers dance across her skin. “That is the most wicked thing I can tell you of, something so ruinous that even if I had ever wanted to be a debutante, I would not have the chance.”
or With Love, Franchaela.

Michaela had been excited about Maria's visit ever since her friend had mentioned it in their correspondence. It was always a mystery to people why an extroverted lady like Michaela preferred the isolated Schottish Highlands to the London high society. She had serval reasons for it, and it had become even more pleasant since John had married Francesca. The two women got along great. Perhaps more than great on her part, even though she tried to hide it, not wanting to tarnish her beloved cousin's marriage. But by the look @tealeavesandthorns was giving her, her friend had caught on to it.
"You are giving me this look again, Maria," the woman said, putting down two of her cards before drawing new ones, trying to keep her expression in check even though the move had made her hand worse. "It's like you're expecting me to grow a wart on my nose all of the sudden." Maria knew what that look was about, but he was not ready to confide in the other just yet.

Francesca Wanted Michael to Get Her Pregnant
can't believe I'm back at it but after reading this recently published Screen Rant article rank Bridgerton spouses and rank Michael/Michaela Stirling fifth because, and I quote from the article—
Michael Stirling even threatens to impregnate Francesca Bridgerton if she refuses to marry him, which is not a good perception of his best side.
Like.... no. That is not what happened at all. Full stop. After having CONSENSUAL sex for the first time with Michael, Francesca is conflicted about "betraying" John her late husband, and isn't sure about her feelings towards Michael, but she's also aware of the practicalities of having sex, and having sex out of wedlock as far as reputation goes, so this is what SHE tells Michael:
And then, without even looking at him, she said, “I will consider it.” He quirked a brow, waiting for her to elaborate. “Marrying you,” she clarified, still keeping her eyes on the fire. “But I won’t give you an answer now.” “You might be carrying my child,” he said softly. “I am very much aware of that.” She wrapped her arms around her bent knees and hugged. “I will give you an answer once I have that answer.” —When He Was Wicked by Julia Quinn, chapter 18
So she tells him to wait, has sex with him again, and at this point, Michael believes she wouldn't have sex with him twice if she didn't feel something for him, so he reiterates his marriage proposal:
“Will you marry me?” he repeated, and this time the words were hard, with more of an edge to them. “I don’t know,” she finally answered. “I need more time.” "Time for what?“ he snapped. ”For me to try a little harder to get you pregnant?“ She flinched as if struck. He advanced upon her. “Because I’ll do it,” he warned. “I’ll take you right now, and then again tonight, and then three times tomorrow if that’s what is required.” “Michael, stop…” she whispered. “I have lain with you,” he said, his words stark and yet strangely urgent. "Twice. You are no innocent. You know what that means.“ And it was because she was no innocent—and no one would ever expect her to be—that she was able to say, “I know. But that doesn’t matter. Not if I don’t conceive.” —When He Was Wicked by Julia Quinn, chapter 20
Is it the nicest of proposals? No, and Michael is pissy that she isn't capitulating just because there's a *chance* she might be pregnant. That being said, he's NOT forcing her to get pregnant, and Francesca is 100% fine with continuing to have sex with Michael on the off-chance she could get pregnant, and if she does, only then will she make a decision about marrying him because at this moment in time, she is still unsure of her feelings for Michael and still feels like she's betraying John. But Michael is neither coercing her to have sex with him, nor is he attempting to get her pregnant against her will. And shortly after this dialogue, he storms off because he thinks convincing her further is futile and he's feeling tragic and *used* by her lol.
And ultimately, Francesca is INTO the idea of getting pregnant, or hell, trying to get pregnant with him.... a breeding kink if you will. There's a VERY telling passage after she says she'll marry him despite not being pregnant but having had sex with him multiple times over three weeks:
He rose slowly to his feet. “There will be no backing out. No cold feet. No changed minds.” “No,” she said. “I promise.” And that was when he finally let himself believe her. Francesca did not give promises lightly. And she never broke her vows. He was across the room in an instant, his hands at her back, his arms around her, his mouth raining desperate kisses on her face. “You will be mine,” he said. “This is it. Do you understand?” She nodded, arching her neck as his lips slid down the long column to her shoulder. “If I want to tie you to the bed, and keep you there until you’re heavy with child, I’ll do it,” he vowed. “Yes,” she gasped. “And you won’t complain.” She shook her head. His fingers tugged at her gown. It fell to the floor with stunning speed. “And you’ll like it,” he growled. “Yes. Oh, yes.” —When He Was Wicked by Julia Quinn, chapter 21
Come on.... the "yes oh yes?" What do we think that is if not enthusiastic consent?
#anyway i'm looking forward to michaela stirling#but her (likely) being unable to get Francesca pregnant through biological means is not......... the reason to like her lol#bridgerton#francesca bridgerton#michael stirling#historical romance#romance novels#julia quinn

Ok Y’all
I don’t know how the Michael/Michaela Genderswap is going on here but I was discussing it with my mom and wanted to see if everyone else shares a similar idea to us about Frannie’s season of the show as it relates to Michaela and her storyline during her siblings seasons that will respect both love stories and the topics discussed.
These are of course just my opinions. This is wordy and I wrote this after binging the whole season it’s 2 am so please bear with me.
TW: infertility, discussions and mentions of loss of spouse and pregnancy
Season 4 (Benedict)
It’s been a year so Francesca and John are delivering a happy Eloise (who has in fact seen past Aubrey hall and for other reasons 😉) home to the ton for the Bridgerton Family Masquerade ball (hosted by both the Viscountess and Dowager Vicountess)
Francesca seems off in the crowds, more so than she did during her season the previous year.
Ofc, Violet picks up on it and is so distracted by it she doesn’t notice her son leave the ballroom with an extra guest (iykyk)
We see Lady Danbury and her brother getting along and jesting with each other.
Violet learns of Frannie’s and John’s struggles with conceiving (whether it be it not happening or the pain of a loss) and supports them both with kind words and items of knowledge she has heard from the other mamas after many a conversation and the information is asked for (we love a respectful queen)
We see Michaela and her personality longer that 2 seconds☺️
Throughout the season we watch Eloise grabbing letters from Sophie (if they keep the Cinderella storyline) and rushing off to her room (from a Phillip who hopes for a love match after figuring out Eloise’s personality because our girl deserves a love match and those kids deserve a support system after what would be the passing of Marina)
We see Frannie and John return to Kilmartin House and try — Michaela offering a shoulder of support to Frannie as she tries to remain hopeful—
Sophie and Benedict’s plot goes on
As they are in town for Ben and Sophie’s small ceremony, we see a happy Frannie and John who quietly tell Violet they are expecting a baby (can be now or the next season maybe not yet?)
Sophie and Benedict go to My Cottage
Season 5 (Eloise)
Eloise gets a letter from Phillip (and we learn that she met a widowed Phillip while he was conducting research on the Kilmartin property and begins correspondence) inviting her for a visit. She goes to Pen and confesses to her about the written courtship
Eloise and Penelope visit Phillip because our girl is not being forced into marriage (and hopefully My Cottage exists in the TVverse)
Violet and Lady Danbury support one another and discuss as they have never experienced a written courtship before and they don’t understand it
Francesca is in town for the season with a beautiful baby boy or girl, John of course has a seat at parliament and needs to be there. Michaela always has a spot in the Kilmartin house so she has came down as well.
We still get the “tell me something wicked” portion as Michaela has revealed her secret to Frannie (plus we get to keep Frannie’s curiosity 😉)
We see Eloise and Phillip ACTUALLY get to know one another and we get to see an actual courtship and the kids warm up to Eloise (Pranks of course will ensue)
Eloise and Phillip marry happily
We see John and Francesca at home, he’s complaining of a headache. Frannie and Michaela have him go lay down before their nightly walk and gossip
Eloise and Phillip do their thing (I mean this is about Frannie but I feel this is how the show should be and I can’t stop myself)
JOHN DIES OFF SCREEN — for the love of everything that is good and holy I can’t watch our babies suffer like the scene in the book. Maybe we see Violet get an urgent message and rush to Francesca’s side.
Season Six (Francesca)
It’s been a month since John passed, a pregnant Francesca is keeping everything together with help from Michaela as her son John Jr (or smth) is too young to take over the title just yet.
Both are in mourning. We see Michaela go through her feelings for both the man she considers her brother and the feelings she has for his wife.
We watch Francesca and her bad luck with rain constantly going on walks.
We see Michaela watch her love and friend suffer with the loss of everything she knew.
We see our girls grieve together and get even closer
Michaela is forced to return to her mother (as a woman can’t travel has been a big pointed issue in the last few seasons) so we can give Francesca and Michaela time to make sure they have somewhat healed because our girls deserve a good start
By the time Michaela is able to return time has passed and the letters passed back and forth have not been frequent or consistent so we have some initial awkwardness
We have baby Janet Stirling
Hyacinth is making her debut so Frannie and the kids are in town to support her, Kate, and Violet — we get sister supporting sister and making sure they stay sane
Ofc Hyacinth is spending time with lady Danbury too
We watch our girls fall in love with each other
We see Francesca confess to her mother that she doesn’t want to remarry and is finding comfort with her love
We see Violet be confused only due to the era and its normally kept secret but she accepts that her daughter is happy, supporting them as a couple
We see the girls be guilty like they do in the book but both come to terms that John would be happy that 2 of the people he loves most in this world are happy with each other.
We see hints of Hyacinths love interest through lady Danbury (because we still need that plot point in our lives a Danbury/Bridgerton Family Merger) and all of our Wed bridgerton siblings in the countryside with all the cousins playing happily.
Auntie Michaela is great with all the kids
We see Francesca happy knowing she has had 2 great romances in her life and a wonderful family.
WE STILL GET “Thank you Michaela for letting my son love her first”
In Conclusion
All of this is to say we can stay true to Francesca’s love for John and have our Michaela and Frannie’s storyline with their love too.
We can still have the infertility storyline whether it be immediate, loss, or secondary the writers can make sure that it is respected and brought in respectfully while keeping the regency theme
Y’know I want to see Eloise’s story tweaked (I have strong feelings about her getting a fair love story)
While we can’t have the Michael imposter syndrome portion we can still see a love story worthy of a Julia Quinn novel
TLDR: Just because it’s different doesn’t mean that it isn’t going to be good. I have faith that the writers will make sure these characters and their stories different or same are done respectfully.
#bridgerton#bridgerton spoilers#michaela stirling#francesca bridgerton#john stirling#when he was wicked#bridgerton tv#we respect actors here. don’t hate on the actress for anything. she’s doing her job.

To Tell The Truth, Or Not?
New Story has been published on https://enzaime.com/tell-truth-not/
To Tell The Truth, Or Not?
Do you tell your children the truth? Should you? Do you keep secrets for fear of traumatizing your children?
Growing up Jewish, my kids never believed in Santa Claus, or the Easter Bunny. They did however believe in the Tooth Fairy; it was the only fictitious character I had to share with my little ones. When they came to me asking if the Tooth Fairy was real, I asked them what they thought.
My kids are 4.5 years apart. The first to inquire about the tooth fairy was my daughter, Michaela. Years later, it was my son, Max’s turn. Both thought long and hard about whether the tooth fairy was indeed real. Knowing that Santa and the Easter Bunny were not real, they deduced that the Tooth Fairy was not real as well. I agreed. I find it hard not to tell the truth.
Telling your children the truth about a fabricated individual is a personal decision. Should you come right out and tell your kids the truth? Or do you wait for them to come to you, and ask? And when they do ask, do you follow up with the truth? Our children are little for only a short time, and I can see why many moms and dads want their little ones to have some magic in their lives.
Now, suppose someone in your family gets diagnosed with a potentially life threatening illness. This illness is not going away. This illness will require treatments that will make the parent look and feel sick. This illness will effect the way your household is run. Your children will notice these changes. Unlike a magical, mythical character who brings happiness to your children, the character that we are talking about is a wicked, beast called cancer.
Many times a parent may not be quite sure how to handle this. Should you bring the disease up to your child, or should you wait to see if your child will bring it up to you? Do you ignore everything in hopes your child will not notice, or if they do, hope they do not come to you for answers?
When a parent takes ill, it can be quite scary for all involved. What I find more scary though, is the not knowing, and I know my family feels the same.
My children were with me when I received the news I had breast cancer. Michaela was 15 at the time, and Max 11. Too young to have a mom with a potentially life threatening illness, but old enough, I felt, to know the truth.
I received many get well cards after my first diagnosis. They brightened my day, and gave me the strength to continue my chemotherapy treatment. One card stuck out though. It was from my dental hygienist. I wondered how she found out about my illness.
When it was time to get my teeth cleaned, I thanked my hygienist for the lovely card, but needed to know how she found out. She said that she and a patient of hers were discussing how so many people are being diagnosed with cancer. The patient said that her daughter had a friend whose mom was recently diagnosed with breast cancer. That friend was Michaela Rosen!
People talk, and that is quite fine, but information can get distorted. I would never want my kids to hear anything concerning my health from someone other than me, or my husband, especially if the information is incorrect.
My children told me they would be upset with my husband and I if we did not tell them about my diagnosis, and everything that goes with it. My daughter tells me she has friends whose parents have cancer. There are a few whose parents have told them about their diagnosis, but nothing else. These kids are scared because they do not know to what degree of seriousness the disease is, what kind of treatment the parent is going through, and if the parent is going to survive.
When I mentored newly diagnosed breast cancer patients, I had many who had children. Some told their children about their diagnosis, some not, at least not right away. Most, after speaking with me, decided to tell their child(ren) something about their illness. The child’s age should be considered to determine how much information should be shared.
I cannot tell you what you should tell your child(ren), but I want you to take their feelings in consideration. As parents we want to protect them from from things we think will hurt and upset them. Keep in mind that most children are resilient.
If only sharing information of an illness was as easy as exposing Santa, the Easter Bunny and the Tooth Fairy.

Rob Huebel talks 'Do You Want to See a Dead Body?,' 'Transparent' sex scenes, and playing Nic Cage
Rob Huebel in ‘Do You Want to See a Dead Body?’ (Photo: YouTube Red)
Everyone has their favorite conversation starters in social situations, whether it’s “What do you do?,” “Where are you from?,” or “What show did you just binge?” Rob Huebel’s go-to line, however, seems more like a conversation stopper. “Whenever there’s a lull in conversations, and no one else can think of anything else to say, my joke is, ‘Do you want to see a dead body?'” the comedian and actor tells Yahoo Entertainment. That tactic has apparently proven so successful in his personal life that he’s spun it off into a new web series premiering on Nov. 21 on YouTube Red.
Each episode of Do You Want to See a Dead Body? finds Huebel hanging out with a celebrity pal like Rob Corddry, Paul Scheer, or Danny Pudi and inevitably inviting them to view a corpse. Asked whether the idea for the series (or his original conversation-starting one-liner) was at all inspired by the 1986 body-hunting classic Stand By Me, Huebel indicates that it’s mostly coincidental. “I do love that movie and the idea of having an adventure with your friends,” he says.
And Huebel gets up to some pretty crazy adventures in Do You Want to See a Dead Body? In one episode, he has to rescue John Cho from death by quicksand. In another, he and Alexandria Daddario crawl into the bowels of an airplane — via the in-flight bathroom, no less — to find a dead body. “It’s a little bit like a cartoon, really,” he says of the show’s crazy flights of fancy. “The idea is that everyone is some weirdo version of their real selves. That’s more fun than just going, ‘I’m an actor, and you’re an actor.'”
We spoke with Huebel about his hatred of long lines, filming ugly married sex on Season 4 of Transparent, and our shared awe of Nicolas Cage.
youtube
One of the recurring gags in Do You Want to See a Dead Body? involves waiting on line. Is that a pet peeve of yours in real life? For sure, that’s something I hate! [Laughs] No, I think that’s just a dumb way to run into someone; people always do that on TV. It’s like, “Here I am on line, and there you are!” It’s an easy starting point. But you’re right, there is a recurring thing of people getting ahead of me in line. Like the episode with Rob Corddry where we’re waiting at the Redbox kiosk. There’s a huge line for this thing and the joke is that they’re all waiting to rent John Wick: Chapter 2.
So do you pull the “Do you want to see a dead body?” joke when you’re waiting on line in real life? I’ve definitely thrown it out loud enough for other people to hear just to f**k with them and get a reaction. If I see a friend of mine at the grocery store or something, I would definitely throw it out loud enough so that some mom would hear it and freak out. I think that would be pretty funny. [Laughs]
Huebel and Alexandra Daddario in ‘Do You Want to See a Dead Body?’ (Photo: YouTube Red)
Did you decide on the 15-minute runtime for each episode, or was that mandated by YouTube? We originally made this as a pilot for Comedy Central a year ago, and we did it as a half-hour with two stories back-to-back. When we took a step back to look at it, we realized we could just easily break these up and make them 15-minutes long. And when we sold it to YouTube, that seemed like a better idea. We wanted it to be something totally binge-able. If you were on a train or plane or on the subway going to work, you can power through three or four of them. I didn’t want to make anything that was like, “You have to see this one to get this next one.” I like having stuff that’s totally evergreen and disconnected from each other.
There’s not a lot of pop culture riffing going on in the show. Is that something you wanted to avoid? Not a lot. We wanted every episode to be totally different and feel totally different. Our main thing, too, was to write for the guest. Whether it’s Rob Corddry or Judy Greer or Michaela Watkins, we wanted to write specifically for that person. There are certain [pop-culture] things, like in our Randall Park episode. He’s trying to solve a mystery that starts off with the body in a giant crater, and it’s a naked man who is totally unhurt. So Randall goes crazy trying to solve the mystery, and it becomes sort of like The X-Files. And there’s a nod to The Sandlot in Corddry’s episode. My friend, Nick Jasenovec, who directed a lot of these, threw that in there because he was obsessed with the baseball scenes. It comes out of nowhere and has no significance, but we put all this weight on it, and it pays off with the dog f**king everything up.
You had a major storyline on the most recent season of Transparent, where Len joined Sarah and the Pfeffermans in Israel. Did you actually shoot on location? No, we ended up having to do a lot of L.A. for Israel. I think Gaby Hoffman went over there and shot a bunch of stuff. Originally, the plan was for all of us to go, and then it just got very complicated. I was really looking forward to it, but maybe we’ll get to go again sometime. Like when the Brady Bunch went to Hawaii!
You were part of some risqué sexual sequences this season as well. Was it nerve-wracking doing those scenes? For sure. Amy Landecker is one of my favorite actors in the world, and she’s really good at making everybody else feel comfortable, which is good for those scenes because you’re pretty much naked and it can be very awkward. At the time, my wife and I had just had a baby, so I was getting no sleep at all! All of it was just a total blur to me. One cool thing that Transparent does is manage the set so that there’s nobody on there who doesn’t need to be there, so you feel really protected and safe. I’m mainly disappointed in myself, because I’m in such terrible shape! It’s so gross for me to watch. But the show really embraces the harsh reality of what life is, so I guess I did my part to show the ugly side of married sex, you know. [Laughs]
Amy Landecker, Alia Shawkat, and Huebel in Season 4 of ‘Transparent’ (Photo: Amazon)
Since you’re a parent now, has that affected your opinion of the unorthodox way that Len and Sarah approach child-rearing? There’s a running bit on Transparent that Sarah is this child expert now, because she cooked up this thing called “Kids on Top,” which is this really absurd parenting approach where the gist of it is that you let your kids do whatever they want, and somehow they’re going to learn to be well-behaved. It seemed made up to me, but I’m told that it’s a real approach and people actually do this! To me, that’s hilarious because as a new parent, I would never ever do it. There’s no way! We have a one-year-old now, and if I let her do whatever she wanted, she’d stick her finger in an electrical socket or swallow butter knives, so that seems like a really foolish approach. But I think they’re going to keep this going next season, with Sarah having a lot of success with her books and website. So I’m eager to see how they write that.
The season ends on a cliffhanger with Len possibly impregnating Alia Shawkat’s character. Can you tease how that’s going to play out? I’ll say this: I don’t know why they would put that in there if we weren’t going to pay that off in some way. It seems like it would be too disappointing to just say, “Well, she’ll just take Plan B.” So I think we’re going to have to deal with that in some shape or form.
Can you confirm or deny that you’re playing Nicolas Cage in a movie called Action #1? A friend of mine, Alex Fernie, who directed a lot of Do You Want to See a Dead Body?, also directed this movie. It’s about Nic Cage’s copy of Action Comics No. 1 getting stolen, which happened in real life. As I understand the backstory of the movie, they were going to get Nic Cage to do it, but at the last minute he didn’t want to play himself. So they came up with this genius idea of every time you see Nic Cage in the movie, he’s played by a different actor. So I play Nic Cage, Rob Corddry plays Nic Cage, Missi Pyle plays Nic Cage — I think there are like about 10 different actors that play Nic Cage in the movie. I got to go and do my best Nic Cage impression for a few days. It was a dream come true!
So what makes your version of Cage distinct from the others? I brought a certain level of Cage Rage. There’s a couple scenes where I do full-on rage mode with Nic Cage freaking out and going off on people. And that is my favorite version of Nic Cage, so to be able to do him not even at level 10, but level 11 is pretty exciting. I don’t know if he’s the best actor in the world, but he’s the best performer in the world. He is so fascinating, thrilling, repulsive, and endearing and incredible to watch.
I got the chance to meet him at the Toronto Film Festival earlier this year. He had a cowboy hat on and everything. Oh my god, Nic Cage in a cowboy hat. You’re so lucky! That’s the very best Nic Cage. [Laughs]
Do You Want to See a Dead Body? premieres on Nov. 21 on YouTube Red. Transparent is currently streaming on Amazon Prime.

my writing:
Summary:
“You should try writing to her, even if you are not to send them. I find, when I have so many feelings that I am unsure what to do with them, it helps to release them creatively.”
“But you draw, and I’m not much of a writer honestly. Well… most of the time anyway.”
“There are all kinds of writers you know. You believe yourself to not be a writer because there are so many of them already around you, but the world is full of creativity, full of art, full of someone who will always be better at something than you Eloise. Besides, I’m not asking you to publish a book of poetry for a long-lost lover. I’m just saying, try an outlet for once that doesn’t involve smoking on a swing?”
At that she had laughed but she had gone to bed with Michaela’s advice singing in the back of her mind and then had spent many nights when she couldn’t sleep in Scotland doing exactly as she had suggested.
And now Eloise stared at the never-to-be recipient of dozens of letters that hide in her desk drawer that resides in her room at Aubrey Hall and she is none-the-wiser and oddly calm and beautiful for someone who has been stuck with sheep for the last year.
playlist for story:
Summary:
“What’s a stunning thing like you doing here?” And at first, it’s just the terror of being caught somewhere she’s not supposed to be. She would have played it cool, but her fingers have frozen on the zipper and her eyes… her eyes are on the most vicious looking angel she’s ever seen in her life.
Pale blonde tumbling hair shining in what little moonlight there is peaking through trees and there’s… something red on her chin, eyes black but it must just be the darkness, and that red on her chin litters across the whiteness of her very old looking dress. She briefly registers that the wailing in the distance has stopped, but her eyes cannot move from the commanding presence of the woman in front of her.
She looks like hell, and she looks…
Lost in time.

“That is the most wicked thing I can tell you of, something so ruinous that even if I had ever wanted to be a debutante, I would not have the chance.”
or With Love, Franchaela.

so i’ve been generally doing like a word count of around 10k for my chapters but… the thing about that is that Francesca’s focus is 10k words and i haven’t started Michaela’s yet for chapter 1 of franchaela’s version of WLE 😮💨

"I would always rather be happy than dignified." - Bridgerton!Maria @ Michaela
“Now you know why I hide away in the Scottish Highlands!” Michaela shared her friend’s sentiment. Of what worth was dignity without happiness. It could not shield you against the misery around you. “I’m happy there, and no one expects me to be dignified. To play any role for the sake of name or family. Or status.” Kilmartin was as far away from the hustle of the Ton as any place could be. // @tealeavesandthorns

Michaela Stirling Bridgerton / series canon + headcanon / lesbian / open for shipping
Raised in Kilmartin besides her cousin John, Michaela soon discovered she wasn’t like the other young ladies they encountered occasionally. She was not interested in the gentlemen but rather her fellow ladies. A secret she keeps close to her heart. And one of the reasons she enjoys the seclusion of the Scottish Highlands despite her outgoing nature. There she can spend time with her beloved cousin, read, and spend her time outside: shooting and hawking.
Main ships: Michaela/Francesca Alternative Universes: modern (tba); a song of ice and fire (lady of House Stirling from the Vale)

I know michaela's inner monologue is resembling the most unhinged and horny hozier songs rn. I trust it's on an "the only heaven I'll be sent to is when I'm alone with you" level type of beat. 😭
the thing I love about francesca though is that she IS easy to understand, I think her intentions and feelings can easily bleed through her music, you just have to know when to listen. her feeling unheard and feeling like she never fit in was so sad so I get why you wrote that part where she plays for michaela for hours and they're just so connected in the music! (sidenote: there's this person "kassia" on youtube who does piano covers and I absolutely love their interpretation of classical pieces, it's how I was imagining francesca's playing sounding like. also—it might be too contemporary for the time period but just based on vibes—I imagined that the music francesca was playing to michaela sounded like fkj's album "just piano").
ahhh vampire cressida (my beloved) is coming up next!! I'm so excited (you already know this lol. also saw that you added some new songs to the playlist 🥰) I will be locked in reading that update!
I'll see about watching the first episode and seeing if it hooks my attention! I hope you're having a lovely day as well! 😊
-🧛🏻♀️
haha yes! i still need to make a playlist for “Tell Me Something Wicked” but rest assured hozier will have his place in it because he’s got a lot of perfect ones for them.
oh definitely this is why i relate to her so thoroughly as well, i think it’s really easy to hear her when she’s expressing herself, you just have to be listening but people tend to overlook her because she’s quiet and softly spoken most of the time. I’ll be giving a look to this stuff, especially because I love love love piano covers and piano only instrumentals. another thing i have in common with francesca is music, she’s just a bigger nerd about it than me i believe.
yes i’m working on her now and hope you like any of the additions tho one of them i believe is a rec you gave me at another time for something else! :)
let me know if it does or doesn’t! ❤️
