Hope van Dynes & Tony Stark Masterlist
5 Candid Photos of Tony Stark and the 1 Candid Photo of Iron Man (ao3) - dls
Summary: Iron Man, optional. Tony Stark, preferred.
Ant-Man (ao3) - WaywardKeener scott/hope T, 8k
Summary: Scott just wants to see his daughter. Hope wants the tech out of Darren's hands. Hank is with his daughter but disagrees on who they should trust about this mission to stop Darren.
Better Than Before (Yesterday’s Gone) (ao3) - Meatball42 tony/hope G, 2k
Summary: Hope knows she has what it takes to be an Avenger. It’s getting along with her prospective teammates that worries her- and one of them in particular.
bound by a promise to the moon (ao3) - graveltotempo tony/stephen G, 80k
Summary: In 1990, Carol Danvers, James Rhodes, Stephen Strange, Tony Stark and Hope Van Dyne get drunk and make a blood oath.
daddy, watch your little black sheep run (ao3) - paperclipbitch tony/hope T, 10k
Summary: “Just so we’re clear,” Hope says, breathless, hands tangled in Tony’s hair and eyes bright, “we’re only doing this to piss off my dad, okay?”
“Hang on,” Tony replies, fumbling with the back of her bra, “I thought we were doing this to piss off my dad.”
Field Trip 2.0 (ao3) - Angeeelatin pepper/tony G, 3k
Summary: Because the Academic Decathlon team won nationals this year, they were awarded with field trips. Yes, field trips. Plural. Because they had already visited Stark Industries, their destinations this time were a bit more diverse in location. They were going to the White House, and Pym Technologies.
For some reason, Peter has higher clearance than he should have.
Or: I introduce another character into the Peter Parker & SI- verse, Hope Van Dyne
hey, babe? I think I wanna marry you (ao3) - graveltotempo tony/hope G, 6k
Summary: five times tony stark proposed to hope van dyne, and one time she proposed to him (spoiler alert: he said yes).
Hope Burns Bright Despite All Darkness (ao3) - starbuck92 hank/janet, pepper/tony, scott/hope T, 13k
Summary: “There’s no manual on how to raise kids when you do what we do.”
Parenting isn’t easy, even for genuine superheroes. It turns out that growing up with only one of those parents isn’t a walk in the park either.
la petite souer (ao3) - starbuck92 T, 8k
Summary: Christmas wasn’t his favorite time of the year. Unlike other kids, Tony didn’t have the best memories of the holiday season, and even into his adulthood, it hadn’t gotten much better after the death of his parents. He ignored as much as he could, shutting himself in his garage or in the lab to tinker with anything that would occupy his brain for hours at a time, usually ending the nights either drunk off his ass or in bed with someone - or both, more often than not.
Christmas through Hope’s eyes, however, was magical.
Little Boxes (ao3) - TenSpencerRiedPlease tony/t’challa, steve/tony (not endgame) N/R, 33k
Summary: When Tony had been in his twenties he’d been all fast cars, snarky remarks, and promiscuous enough that he offended people with it. Now people talked about how Steve tamed him like he had been a wild animal or some shit. And Steve didn’t tame him at all, he fucking gutted him.
*
T'Challa doesn’t need another PhD but its better than dealing with political responsibilities at home and he came to America under the guise of doing his best to understand various world cultures. His stint to America is to waste time and avoid his political duties as a prince but his father approved anyways. Probably because he sensed that if he didn’t T’Challa would do what he wants anyways.
Midnight Lab Break-Ins (ao3) - purplecatsweater pepper/tony, background hope/scott G, 5k
Summary: Tony, suddenly a little shy, ducks slightly behind his father.
Rage Makes Fire Hotter (ao3) - Tempest_Raining scott/hope G, 4k
Summary: Hope van Dyne was not happy with the Rogue Avengers for what they did to themselves, the world, and Tony Stark. In fact, she was pretty pissed. Perhaps it was time she let them know it.
Or: The One Where Hope van Dyne Scares The Rogue Avengers For Various Reasons.
Stronger than Blood (ao3) - marvelfoodlover rhodey/tony, pepper/hope G, 6k
Summary: Many believed that a Pym and a Stark can never be in same room without disagreeing. Everyone knew about the hostility Hank Pym had for Howard Stark, and it wasn’t a secret that the the feeling is mutual.
Everybody knew it. So what comes next is quite the surprise.
That Bridge was Burnt (ao3) - Lp37451 (BirdieBats) tony/stephen, carol/rhodey, scott/hope G, 27k
Summary: The Rogues are back, Tony doesn't care for them anymore but Stephen Strange and Tony Stark have a surprising amount in common.
the legacies are (not) alright (ao3) - MarvelousAvengfulSlytherin G, 2k
Summary: Hope changed, Sharon fought and Tony reinvented. How they became an unlikely family and decided to change things. Life isn't fair after all so why should any of them be?

WIP Update - 12 Oct 2022
Had a reasonably productive week, thanks mostly to a single new fic . I touched 4 fics (1 WIPs & 3 new works) for a total of 1875 words.  I’ll be out of town over this coming weekend, so not expecting a lot of productivity for next week.
The final chapter of the Stucky --> Stuckony alternate a/b/o ‘verse fic that @psychiccatpanda  and I have collabed on was posted - keep an eye out for an Epilogue coming soon!   Also posted to Ao3 - a modern/no powers arranged marriage AU Stony ficlet.  Here on Tumblr,  I posted a semi-spooky, mostly fluffy WinterIron fic for Flash Fiction Friday  that also filled a StarkBucks bingo square, and a Fictober prompt, and a supernatural/no powers AU eventual Stuckony fic that filled a bunch of prompts!
I’m still at 12 active WIPs  (with a couple of maybe TBCs)  with my current   deadlines being these three October creative challenges:  @fictober-event,  @flufftober & @whumptober.  The @reforgedzine  deadline is also looming large.  :: bites nails::
See below cut for the WIPs  (arranged more or less by bingos/challenges/etc) I am working on  -   feel free to send me prompts or plot bunnies as well as asks regarding any of these projects   (or any other WIPs I’ve got out there) – they really help feed the Muse and keep me motivated!
Whumptober, Flufftober & Fictober [ Running thru 31 Oct]
I’m going to attempt to fill prompts from these three creative challenges - at least one per week of the month - preferably combining one prompt from each into a single fic.
I’ve filled prompts for Day 1 (Fic, Whump & Fluff),  Day 7 (Fic and semi-Whump) and Day 12 (Fic, Whump & Fluff)  with Day 18 in progress -- see below for specifics.  I hope to fill a couple more before the end of the month!
Reforged - A WinterIron Zine [Deadline 12 Nov]
I got accepted to submit a  1k-3.5k fic for this project, and have submitted a basic idea & completed my second checkin.    I am stressed and struggling, already at 3062 words and still need to get the main plot wrapped up - I basically need to finish the damn thing and then ruthlessly edit to get down to the max word count...
Avengers Bingo [AvB] (Runs thru 24 Dec)
Eight fills posted (5 to Ao3)  and 0 WIPs - I decided to further challenge myself on this 16-square card by pairing up each square with a unique combo of 2 original MCU Avengers, with the final square being PolyVengers. With the help of the STB Enthusiasts Discord folks - I’ve got all 16 squares  planned out, at least in terms of who to write about, and half of them have some sort of idea or crossover square to go along with them. Feel free to toss other plot  bunnies my way…
* B2 - Healer AU - Filled this with  Things Gone Wrong (But Also Going Right) - a Bruce/Clint Tumblr ficlet that also makes use of the following prompts from the first day of each of the October writing challenges (see below).   It came in at 551 words and will get added to Ao3 at some point later this month.     @fictober-event   Day 1. “I chose you.”, @whumptober    No. 1 “This wasn’t supposed to happen.“ @flufftober  Day 1. Wearing Each Other’s Clothes.
* B3 - Road Trip  -  Bruce & Thor  - Post Grandmaster, pre-Thanos  space shenanigans
* B4 - Age Gap   - Thor/Tony - possible crossover with TSB One Night Stand  (obvious title: Thunderstruck)
* C1 - Opposites Attract - Clint/Thor  - there was a fun Tumblr  headcanon going around about a Bumbling Foreigner whose ignorance of  local customs  results in him flirting with/proposing to the prince -  this seems like a perfect matchup!
* C3 - Reincarnation AU  -  Natasha & Tony  - post-Endgame.
* D1 - Friends w/ Benefits  - Clint/Steve - crossover with MWAPB Hawkeye/Clint Barton and possibly SRB - Never Have I Ever
* D2 - Romeo & Juliet AU  -  basic idea:  Steve (jock) & Tony  (geek) trying out for title roles in R&J - despite their respective  FWB groups thinking it’s a terrible idea.  Title:  Two Polycules, Alike in Dignity
*  D3 - Bed Sharing  -  Bruce/Natasha - AoU compliant.
Man With a Plan (Steve Rogers) Bingo [MWAPB] (Runs thru 31 Dec)
Twelve fills, 2 WIPs and several Vague Ideas/potential cross fills with other bingos.  Prompts cheerfully accepted!
* B3 - Farmer’s Market  -  crossover with TSB Doing Groceries. Moodboard + ficlet?
* I1 - Steve is here for TFAtWS  - this might go well with my BBB  “Oh, hell no"  square - Steve trolling  Bucky & Sam by sending the old man in with his shield?  (moodboard & ficlet?)
* I5 - Dogsitting -  filled this with a Tumblr fic: Paws to Consider - a Steve & Tony + Stucky --> eventual Stuckony fic featuring mutual pining and a werewolf.  It’s a crossover with my BBB “Run”  square and the following October writing challenge prompts.    @fictober-event   12. "You're making my head hurt."    @whumptober  #12   “Mayday, mayday!”    @flufftober 12. “You kept this?” It came in at 1080 words and will post on Ao3 later this month.
* N1 - School AU/Teacher AU  - if I decide to continue on with Technicalities   - I could fill this square  :: ponders::
* N3 - Online shopping - this might be fun as a crossover with BBB Thighs  Sam buys a revealing swimsuit for Bucky as a gag that gets Steve in a tizzy.
* N4 - Soulmates -  got inspired by a dream to start a Stucky fantasy AU (magician!Steve/ensorcelled!Bucky) that @bill-longbow  is collaborating on with me.  This will also fill my Stucky Bingo AU: Supernatural square.  We’re currently sitting at 1640 words  (984-ish of which are mine). Current Last Line:  "My men will accompany you back to Brookline in the morning.”
* G4 - Canon Divergence post CA:TWS - possible  crossover with BBB  Kill List – Bucky wreaking havoc on Hydra bases and  Steve & Sam catch up with him
* G5 - Friends to Lovers -  might use this for Chapter 3 of Mutual Pinning
* O1 - Crying - see AvB Death square above
*  O2 - Sex Pollen  -  Teenage Groot pollen =  aphrodisiac  hi-jinks. Quill & Gamora  warn the  couple (stucky)/throuple (Stuckony)  ahead of time, so no  dub-con.
* O3 - Hawkeye/Clint Barton  -  see AvB - Friends w/ Benefits  above.
StarkBucks Bingo - Round 3  (SBB_R3) - Ends 31 Dec
Six fills, 2 WIPs and several Vague Ideas - soliciting plot bunnies or other kick-starters.
* B1 - “I wouldn’t mind wasting my time on you.“  - Possible crossover with  BBB - KINK: Seduction Mission?
* B3 - AU: Canon Divergence -  combining this with TSB Canon Divergent: Nobody Dies   by pulling together some leftovers/discards from “ Ain’t No Party Like a ‘Saved the Universe’ Party”.  Clearing the Air is coming in at  792 words and will get posted to Ao3 either the 21st or the 28th.
* I2 - Mistaken Identity - crossover with TSB K5 - Protectiveness -  “The Mechanic, The Soldier & The Artist” - mob/assassin AU with a Mr. & Mrs. Smith twist?
* I4 - Canon: Avengers Academy  - will probably do Stuffed Marvels sketches of Tony and Winter, as I know very little about the game/canon.
* I5 - Matchmaker Bots - possible crossover with TSB Occupational Hazard
* N2 - Blanket - Thanks to the July BBB Discord party , I have an idea for combining this with my TSB   AU: College square and BBB Funeral square.
* N4 - Crossroads -  filled this with the Tumblr fic  The Old Dark AirBnB, a semi-spooky, mostly fluffy WinterIron ficlet that also fills the following event prompts -  It will get posted to Ao3 by the end of the month.      @flashfictionfridayofficial prompt [#FFF171 The Last House on the Left]    @fictober-event   Day 7. “Check that again, are you sure?”    @whumptober  No. 7: Shaking Hands (minor reference).
* G3 - “This might as well happen.”   Managed to squish this into  In Hindsight - a Stucky –> Stuckony spur-of-the-moment threesome fic inspired by a series of posts with @needyoucap over on the STB Enthusiasts Discord server. This  alternating PO  ficlet (which also fills my TSB square  Hindsight) is in more or less final draft form at 1590 words and is scheduled to get posted on Ao3 on the 14th.
* O1 - Royalty - crossover with TSB - IronWidow  &  BBB   AU: Arranged Marriage -  pick Lady Natasha’s Consort and Lord Steve’s Companion  back up?
* O6 - AU: Biker  - Grease 2  fusion  anyone?  😁  I watched the movie a couple of weeks ago and took notes -  It’s not gonna be a faithful adaptation, but hopefully fun - tho am having a tough time deciding who is Michael (probably Bucky, tho a case could be made for Tony)
Hero Hardships Bingo  [HHB]  (Runs thru 31 Dec)
One fill so far  with a few Vague Ideas …  need to see what might play well with Whumptober prompts!
* I3 - Unimaginable Grief  – I‘m thinking an post-Endgame Rhodey POV would work nicely here…
* O3 - Dating a civilian -  this would fit perfectly with another chapter of Takin’ What They’re Givin’ (‘Cause I’m Workin’ for a Livin’) , for which I currently have a basic plot point or two rolling around in my head.
Bucky Barnes Bingo - Round 4 [BBB_R4] (Runs thru 7 Jan 2023)
Eleven fills,  four WIPs  & ideas for everything except one square  - Working on a Column B bingo to start.
* B2 - Funeral - see SBB N2 - Blanket  above
* B3 - Sam Wilson|Falcon - this would be a good candidate for a continuation of After One Or Two False Starts
* U2 - AU: Roommate  - Still wanting to use the Meet Ugly prompt: 02. I bought a house three months ago but I’m finally moving in and discover you’ve been squatting because you’re homeless    – probably WinterHawk with  recovering!Bucky being the squatter in Clint’s apartment building.
* U4 - AU: Arranged Marriage - will probably pick Lady Natasha’s Consort and Lord Steve’s Companion  back up for this one.
* U5 - Kill List -  see MWAP  - G4 - Canon Divergence.  Post CA:TWS above
* C2 - “Oh, hell no” - possible crossover with MWAP I1 - Steve is here for TFaWS
* C4 - KINK: Aftercare -  possibly MWAP Sex Pollen or  TSB KINK: Concubine
*C5 - “This might as well happen” -  Used this for the Sept BBB Round Robin  (crackfic - Emperor’s New Groove inspired)  wrote 276 words toward it  - not sure if/when it will post,  but will add a link when it does.   😁
* K1 - Thighs - combined this with with SRB Game Night  and HHB Hiding Discomfort for a 3 Prompts –> Summary game  that I may turn into a BarberShop Quartet (Steve/Bucky/Natasha/Sam) ficlet.  (tho the HHB prompt will probably get saved for Whumptober, if I participate)
* K2 - Comics -  filling with my  Bucky Barnes original comics version Stuffed Marvel figure that I designed back in March & finally got around to sewing!
* K3 - KINK: Edging  - crossing over with TSB KINK: Orgasm Denial/Edging & I finally got a start on the WinterIron PWP for this (Bucky POV with toy play and Tony as a power bottom)  Hanging by a Moment is sitting at 96 words at the moment.
* Y2 - Never the fall that kills you -  this might be the title for a reverse hanahaki WinterIron prompt from @lacrimula-falsa ….
* Y3 - “Run”  -  see MWAP I5 - Dogsitting above.
* Y4 - KINK: Seduction Mission - crossover with SBB - B1 - “I wouldn’t mind wasting my time on you.”
* ADOPTED1 - Peggy Carter -  potential WW3some shenanigans ahead - another 3 prompts –> Summary inspiration   currently  395 words into a  Peggy & Bucky conversation at the moment.
Steve Rogers Bingo - Round 2  (SRB_R2) - Ends 31 Jan
Thirteen fills posted  (twelve to Ao3) & 0 WIPs at the moment   – happily accepting plot bunnies here as well.
* A1 - Never Have I Ever -  see AvB  Friends with Benefits
* A4 - Touch Attention/Denial  - See BBB Peggy Carter square?
* B2 - Mile High Club -  this seems made for Stony sexy shenanigans…
* B3 - Bruce Banner -  see AvB  Death above.
* C1 - Arranged Marriage -   Making Their Own Arrangements  posted to Ao3 this morning.  I combined this prompt with a previous Flash Fiction Friday prompt [#FF169 Meeting of the Minds] for a Stony ficlet where Tony (and Steve) discover a potential upside to having their family and friends pick their perfect spouse.  It came in at 488 words.
* E2 - Comics Nomad Steve  - SWC sketch of Nomad!Steve
Tony Stark Bingo - Round 6  (TSB_R6)  [Ends 28 Feb]
Five fills and five WIPs at the moment -    with  Vague Ideas for almost every other square.
* S2 - Canon Divergence: Nobody Dies - see SBB AU: Canon Divergence
* T1 - One Night Stand - see AvB - B4 - Age Gap
* T2 - Doing Groceries - see MWAP B3 - Farmer’s Market
* T3 - Pepper Potts/Rescue -  remix of sabrecmc’s  Indecent Proposal
* T4 - KINK: Concubine - possible crossover with   BBB C4 - KINK: Aftercare?
* A4 - AU: College - see SBB N2 - Blanket
*A5 - Scott Lang  - @27dragons shared an interesting plot bunny during the Sept TSB Discord party that I may end up using; that or a follow up to A Piece of the Action
* R1 - Tony’s Poor Life Choices - @somesortofitalianroast had the excellent idea to turn this on its head - now that he’s with [partner of your choice] - he’s making fewer poor life choices?
* R2 - IronWidow -  next chapter of Lady Natasha’s Consort and Lord Steve’s Companion ?
* R3 - Dancing -   Chapter 7 of Flawed Hypothesis  filled this prompt; it posted to Ao3 on Friday at came in at   1078 words.  An Epilogue with an accompanying (and amazing!) graphic created by my lovely and talented collaborator, @psychiccatpanda is on its way!
* R4 - Occupational Hazard - see SBB I5 - Matchmaker Bots
* K1 - Endgame Fix-It  -  had a semi-cracky idea for this over the weekend and pounded out a ficlet where Tony does a bit of solo time-traveling.   Rhodey Had a Point  is coming in at 511 words and is slated to be posted to Ao3 on the 26th
* K2 - Secret Admirer -  carried this over from last round so I could try my hand a remix of Seeds of Love  (WinterIron hanahaki fic by the super-talented @hddnone).  Potential title:  Wraps Around My Heart, Refusing to Unwind
* K3 - KINK: Orgasm Denial/Edging -  see BBB KINK: Edging
* K4 - Hindsight -  see SBB “This might as well happen”
* K5 - Protectiveness -  see SBB Mistaken Identity
*ADOPTED1 - Movie Retelling -  I was also inspired this weekend to fill this square (mostly because there’s an AU: Western square on the list I want to adopt!)  I didn’t quite get it done before the party closed, but Tested to the Breaking Point - a Rhodey POV of the panic attack scene from IM3 - is coming in at 713 words and will get added to my Scenes from a Friendship  IronBros series  on Ao3 on the 19th.
Stucky Bingo Round Four [SB_R4] (Ends 31 May 2023
Two fills and two WIPs with a couple of other vague ides.
* I5 - Friends to Lovers -  see MWAPB  Powerless AU above.
* O4 - AU: Supernatural - see MWAPB Soulmates  above.
I also adopted the Writing Format: Remix one of your fics  square  – am thinking of taking one of my Stony or WinterIron  No Powers fics and adapting it to a Stucky pairing – if you have any requests - hit me up!
WinterIron - No Powers AU  –  Stony No Powers AU
————
On other creative fronts:  I have an She-Hulk Stuffed With Character figure in progress. Am also gearing up for a classic monster/horror con in October and a  superhero con in March - so am focused on building up stock for both.  Plus I have to make space for Marvel Trumps Hate -  the preview week starts 16 Oct!
if  you’re looking for one of a kind gifts for the holiday season, check  out Stuffed With Character   over on Facebook for a full list of my designs (now over 80!).   They’re  mostly Marvel and monsters, but I have some Star Wars, Star Trek, DC   and Disney figures as well. Plus I love to take custom design  requests  for any fandom!

Okay so I rewatched parts of Endgame to write a Sambucky fic. I haven’t seen this movie since the theaters and then S8 ep 3 Game of Thrones destroyed my life.
-The fact that The Snap took Hawkeye’s entire family way outsides the odds proves how much the universe just hates Hawkeye.
-I forgot how much I fucking love Nebula. I want more Nebula and Rhodey. Bucky and Nebula would get on, too. Disabled superheroes club unite.
-I did like the beginning of Endgame. Everyone was just so wrecked and they played it so well. Thanos living his best life in his cottage. That was great.
-I still genuinely do not understand why Steve looks at Peggy’s picture when he’s talking about bringing everyone back from the Snap because he ‘doesn’t know what he’ll do otherwise.’ Like does she represent everyone he’s lost, like Sam and Bucky, his closest connections that are actually dead from the Snap? It doesn’t make sense.
-Is that Steve running a support group because he asked himself, “What would Sam do?”
-This was actually the best scene dealing w the fallout of the Snap. The MCU was definitely not ready to address the full scope of what The Blip means and you see that lack of follow through in every movie/series post Endgame.
-Steve Rogers: “You gotta move on.” UNLESS
-“...Thanos should’ve killed all of us.” I think this is the reason Steve goes back in time, honestly. The Snap just broke him. Without Sam and Bucky, with the enormity of this failure, Steve just lost his ability to cope. Steve has always needed someone to save him from himself but they’re gone. Even though they get most people back, they still lost Tony and Nat and 5 years. Steve can’t win. And Steve Rogers cannot cope with losing. So he rewrites a history where he wins. I don’t even think it’s about not being able to get over Peggy (though they did try to shoehorn that in hard), it was about Steve needing to be in control of his life again.
-It’s one of those situations where I can understand the character’s individual choice, but from a storytelling and narrative perspective, it doesn’t make sense with the story they were telling in the Captain America movies and it’s deeply unsatisfying and confusing. It leaves so many questions and potential consequences. I wasn’t even in this fandom at the time and had zero opinions on any ships, and I was like “this makes no sense.” It still doesn’t. But you know what good for Steggy shippers, ya’ll really won. Stucky fandom, as someone who had to watch Game of Thrones S8 wreck my fandom life, I feel you. My deepest sympathies.
Anyway I skipped to the end after the support group scene. Dammit here we go:
Had to watch the final battle. Cause I had to hear Sam say on your left.
I still lowkey ship Tony/Strange
What you don’t see in the finale battle is where Sam and Bucky keep saving each other. That happened.
The backflips they had to go through to explain why Carol Danvers doesn’t end this movie in 5 minutes. Lol
Tony Stark takes no prisoners. RIP coerced alien soldiers. I have a hard time believing they couldn’t have saved Tony between a portal to Wakanda and magic but fine heroic moving death it is.
Sam didn’t have to go that hard and put a hand on Bucky’s shoulder. But he did.
Okay the finale scene with Sam, Steve and Bucky. The whole reason I watched this lol. So it looks like they’re at the wreck of the Avengers compound. It’s unclear how much time passes between final battle, funeral, old man Steve and the stones. I still theorize Sam and Bucky get arrested after this because they’re fugitives and need to be pardoned.
It’s clear Steve told Bucky and fans were right about this for ages, but why not tell Sam??????? Like seriously wtf??? Couldn’t have said HEY Sam any interest in becoming the new Captain America??? 😂
That last look Steve shares with Bucky; right in my fucking heart.
So when Steve leaves he has no shield because it was destroyed by Thanos. When Steve comes back, he brings a shield to Sam. This seems to confirm the separate branch theory. The shield Sam has comes from a different timeline. Which means Steve came from a different timeline, maybe using the same tech. So it’s possible he rescued Bucky from HYDRA and he, Peggy and Bucky lived a great polyamorous life in that verse. Aw.
But that begs the question of how Steve got the shield in a different timeline. Like WHAT. Did he go find it in the Arctic? Did he convince Wakanda to make another one somehow? Like wtf? Again this ending makes no sense.
Poor Sam. He seriously has to deal with one last mindfuck, losing his best friend that he gave up everything for, and Sam being stalwart and true, just rolls with it. At least Bucky knew. Bucky had the chance to go back with Steve (but for a million reasons Bucky could never go back, that’s what this fic is going to be about lol). But Sam is just left to deal with one more loss.
Can we talk about how Bucky 100% supported Sam getting the shield from the start. Bucky was READY for Cap Sam Wilson. Bucky was like nope this shit is written.
You can see that imposter syndrome revving up to 1000% on Sam’s face. And he turns to Bucky for confirmation this is really happening.
I think this also explains why Bucky is so defensive about the shield. It really is the only thing left of his past. It’s his only tie to the Howling Commandos, to Steve, to the person he was before HYDRA took everything. And the only hope he has in staying behind is the certainty that Sam will be Cap, and that’s the hope that makes him stay. The thin vague tie to Sam and the possibility of their future. So for Sam to reject the shield, oof, I bet that felt like a rejection of Bucky himself. Because Bucky stays for Sam.
(None of this explains why Bucky then ghosts Sam. That is the biggest mystery but there are many delicious possibilities. It’s also possible that Bucky didn’t really ghost Sam - we know his flip phone is just something he has for show. He could be talking to Sam on his smart phone. And they had another falling out.)
Dear God the emotion in Sam’s face as he processes that he’s being given the shield. Cue existential crisis!!!!!
And on to TFATWS.

MCU Phase 4 and 5: What the Multiverse Means for the Future of Marvel Movies and TV
https://ift.tt/eA8V8J
This article contains Loki spoilers and potential spoilers for the wider MCU.
The ending of the Loki season finale made one pretty substantial change to the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The introduction of a full multiverse, caused by Sylvie killing He Who Remains, is an enormous shift in the cosmogony of the MCU. And it opens up some fascinating story possibilities for Marvel’s film heroes. So what does the introduction of a full, unlimited multiverse mean for the future of the MCU?
Hopefully, everything. Literally.
There are obvious near-term implications to Loki’s finale. It answered questions that Spider-Man: No Way Home (with its purported multiversal Sinister Six) and Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness asked back when Loki first premiered. Specifically: “What do you mean there’s only one universe?”
The beauty of time travel is that now, there is and has always been a full multiverse in the context of the MCU. Because whatever Kang War happened far in Loki’s subjective past (because the timelines were left to run wild when Sophie killed He Who Remains), the entire history of the MCU is now potentially subject to retcons as necessary. So the strong implication from Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse that that movie and all its various spider-people existed on Earths parallel to Tom Holland’s MCU can now be considered accurate, even though the movie came out years before Loki was even a twinkle in Kevin Feige’s master MCU spreadsheet.
Time travel is a trip, man. It’s also beautiful. Literally anything is possible now.
What Does the MCU Multiverse Mean for Marvel TV?
This sort of thing happens all the time in comics. The slang is “retcon,” comics-speak for retroactive continuity, where creators reach into their characters’ pasts to change something that impacts their present.
Loki’s infinite multiverse sets up the entirety of Marvel history for any number of retcons that the folks in charge might deem necessary. It allows current MCU casts and crews to cherry pick what they liked from old MCU projects and fold them into this new normal. All those times Agents of SHIELD didn’t quite line up with what the movies were doing? The show was on an alternate Earth! Want Ghost Rider back without the TV baggage? Blame it on a Kang!
And grabbing the stuff that worked from old projects means porting in the good actors, too. That means people like J.K. Simmons, the Platonic ideal of J. Jonah Jameson, can continue playing the role across from three different Spider-Men, or Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio can show up as Daredevil and Kingpin in Spider-Man: No Way Home while Shang Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings nukes Netflix’s Iron Fist continuity from orbit.   Wondering how Ms. Marvel could potentially deal with concepts from the Inhumans without ever mentioning that disastrous TV show? Now we know.
Could the MCU Multiverse Retcon Marvel Movies?
This same ability to pick and choose the continuity most appropriate for the story applies to decisions the movies made, too. A full multiverse lets future filmmakers bring back Chris Evans as Captain America or Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow (OK…maybe not ScarJo) without burdening the MCU with yet another time paradox. As far as we’re concerned, pre-Marvel Studios curiosities like all those crazy old live action Marvel TV shows or Howard the Duck or Dolph Lundgren’s take on The Punisher are now officially canon somewhere within the multiverse.
Phil Coulson could show up in Phase 6 leading a Squadron Supreme (just like in the comics), out for vengeance against the Avengers because they let his Earth 20085 brother die. Hell, if they really wanted to get dirty, Nick Fury could hire Deadpool to kill Coulson in retaliation, like in the comics. Wait, that was Secret Empire, wasn’t it? Never mind, don’t do that.
Anyway, you get the idea.
The possibilities are as infinite as the imaginations of the writers, limited only by Kevin Feige’s patience/sense of humor. Don’t expect anything too crazy: the time travel solution in Avengers: Endgame was wild, but before Loki, that was far and away the most ridiculous comic book science the MCU had trafficked in. Typical MCU adaptations include much more modest nods to comics’ wackier elements – Eternals pending – like secret societies that had taken over SHIELD or Kurt Russell being Chris Pratt’s dad. So that ultra-maxi series that starts out a movie, moves into a TV show, has a comic tie in that directly crosses over with the show, and wraps up in Avengers 6 that we’re all hoping will come to pass is probably not on the horizon.
The Crisis on Infinite Earths Problem
An infinite multiverse doesn’t just mean possibility. It has a trap built in, too. The biggest multiverse story of all time, probably the one that set the template for future interactions with the concept, was DC Comics’ Crisis on Infinite Earths. That book set the standard for multiversal destruction, collapsing DC’s infinite comics timelines down to one single Earth and one single timeline. Gone were the separate Earths for the modern Justice League and the World War II Justice Society, replaced by one, unified timeline. And while the comic itself was a masterpiece, miraculously balanced by Marv Wolfman and beautifully drawn by George Perez; what it wrought on the DCU was 30 years of explainers why the Green Lantern of World War II still looked 35, or why Batman has only been operating for five years but went through six Robins in that time.
The cautionary tale here is one of inward looking stories versus expansionary choices. Post-Crisis DC retcons were about fixing problems the writers and editors perceived with the new timeline, and not about telling the best story they could with the characters and continuity they had. This is an easy trap for a new, expanded (but not all the way expanded) MCU to fall into. There are key pieces of the comics that haven’t been ported to the films yet.
The Fantastic Four
The temptation is likely huge to use this new, beautiful, infinite multiverse to introduce the Fantastic Four and the X-Men to the MCU. That’s probably half of a good idea.
The cosmogony of the multiverse is ingrained in who the Fantastic Four are. Their story begins as explorers of the unknown – Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Ben Grimm, and Johnny Storm are bombarded with cosmic radiation after an unauthorized space launch. That origin is very of the time when they were created, and would probably hit different now when the only unauthorized space launches are led by giant assholes. So why not take a page from the end of Secret Wars and have them get their powers exploring the new multiverse? It makes so much sense to do it that way that one is almost suspicious of this entire retcon. But that doesn’t make it any less cool.
The X-Men in the MCU
While introducing the Fantastic Four to the MCU by saying they’ve been off exploring the multiverse would make a certain elegant sense, if Marvel tried to introduce the X-Men that way, it would be hugely problematic.
The core concept of the X-Men is the mutant metaphor, the idea that mutants are hated and feared because of who they are. On a completely superficial level, this is nonsense: what’s the difference between Cyclops’ eye blasts and Captain Marvel zapping Kree ships with fist beams? Why are mutants singled out for scorn and bigotry when someone like Doctor Strange has MUCH more terrifying abilities?
The difference is the idea that mutants are humanity’s destiny. There’s no concern that the majority baseline human population is going to someday be replaced by handsome super-soldiers or radioactive Catholic lawyers. But that genetic distinction – the idea that Magneto and Apocalypse and Pixie and Skids all share a distinct identity, while Captain America and Daredevil and Dr. Druid and Tigra do not – creates tension that allows real world out groups to superimpose their struggles onto X-Men comics and makes them infinitely relatable.
As superficially attractive as the idea of plopping the mutants on their own parallel Earth might be (and trust me, this definitely seems like the simplest justification for keeping Hugh Jackman’s Wolverine and Ryan Reynolds’s Deadpool in the MCU while jettisoning anything else that is less appealing for audiences or studio execs), putting the mutants on their own separate Earth strips that struggle from the story and makes them just another cape crew.
Worse, using the multiverse as justification that suddenly mutants are here because they came from a parallel timeline disrespects the marginalized people who identify with the X-Men who, like left-handed people, have been here the whole time. Whether society noticed or not.
The Sony Spider-Man Problem
What keeps me up at night about the new Marvel multiverse is the Spider-Man family. The Marvel/Sony relationship has always been…complicated.
cnx.cmd.push(function() { cnx({ playerId: "106e33c0-3911-473c-b599-b1426db57530", }).render("0270c398a82f44f49c23c16122516796"); });
While the new multiverse provides creators with endless storytelling opportunities that could expand the Marvel Cinematic Universe, it also sets up an easy out for the studios to separate the Spider-Man movies from the rest of the MCU. Cleaving off the Spider-family movies wouldn’t be great – I don’t need to be reminded of complicated business deals while I’m at the movies. Dedicating all of a future Spidey movie to explaining why Pete isn’t in the master MCU and can’t talk about Iron Man anymore would almost certainly be a nightmare.
But these inward-looking continuity fixes are the types of stories that Marvel, on page and on screen, has generally avoided (before you jump in the comments to shout “CLONE SAGA” please take into account how much work “generally” is doing in this sentence) with its big multiverse stories. Hopefully they’ll keep making those wise decisions going forward.

Note
The main reason I’m concerned about that verse is, well, we both love superhero shows, but if they depict women in combat as a good thing, is that a sin and are we sinning by watching them?
Okay, I’m putting this under a cut because this is gonna get kinda long and rambly.
As I explained previously, the verse in question is about crossdressing, not women in combat, and the Bible doesn’t expressly prohibit women in combat though it holds that the ideal should be strictly men.
Granted, we live in a fallen world and so we deal in imperfect solutions and situations all the time.  But generally, when it comes to actual women in actual war and combat situations, the Bible leans no.
Fiction is less clear.  When it comes to a lot of media, there’s not always a hard line “sinful” vs “not sinful”, “bad for you”/“edifying” division.  There’s definitely media that has so much objectionable content that consuming it lends itself to sin but there’s also media that can be argued to be morally neutral.  (Examples: a gorn film like something in the Saw franchise I would argue has gratuitous and glorified violence, language, sexual content, and twisted messages to the extent that no I don’t think Christians should watch it, whereas say Avengers: Endgame, while having the occasional profanity and persistent action-violence is something more morally neutral.)
It’s all about what’s in your head and heart.  I would certainly argue that we as Christians should not mindlessly consume everything out there or that is set before us.  I would argue that we should make our own informed decisions about exactly what kind of content we are putting in our heads, discern our own comfort levels with objectionable material and messages, evaluate whether or not what we’re consuming is ultimately edifying us or improving our spiritual health and basically just seek to choose media that encourages a good spirit.
This is a tricky field to navigate, because one person or group’s tolerance for certain things is going to be different than another person’s (that’s why super-rigid Orthodoxists tend to have moral panic about things like D&D and Harry Potter, that depict magic and sorcery positively, also why my mother-in-law didn’t let my husband watch Teen Titans while it was airing, because it was “too violent”), and for the most part that’s okay.  It’s about using judgement, weighing the good and bad and deciding whether or not what you enjoy about something is worth the potential crap and pitfalls you’ll encounter in it.  The line is going to be different for everyone.
And the line is often about how things are depicted.  Hacksaw Ridge and Hostel both have graphically violent content, but in Hacksaw Ridge’s case it’s about showing the absolute hell of war and contrasting the messianic, pacifist character of the main protagonist against that awful backdrop, showing how there’s great heroism and faith to be found even on the battlefield, whereas Hostel is just an exercise in how exploitatively the director can murder helpless female characters.
Context and framing matter.
With superhero media, I would argue that portrayals of female superheroes as just as brutal and violent and savage as their male counterparts--often without a moral compass to boot--would be on the negative side of depictions, therefor straying into territory you could consider “sinful” to consume.  (Think Electra and Catwoman, the films, not the characters.)  On the other hand, take Wonder Woman, a character who is full of hope and optimism, who selflessly risks her life to save and protect others, and who is portrayed as strong and powerful but also gentle and very feminine... that would be a more positive portrayal.
Again, though, people’s lines are different.  The husband was totally okay watching Deadpool.  I watched it once and honestly, I could have gone my entire life happily never seeing it ever.  I didn’t watch the climax of Raiders of the Lost Arc for years because my mom determined it was too scary for me.  (She was right.)  I was only allowed to watch Lord of the Rings once I was 14, and could handle it.  (And even then I was a little squeamish about the gorey bits and would hide my eyes or flinch away.)  It’s all about using spiritual discernment.  If you think a particular film or show is going to make you stumble, then don’t watch it.  If you don’t see anything of value in its messages or content, feel perfectly free to skip out on it.
Trying to find hard line “sinful” versus “not sinful” nitpicks in things that are mostly morally ambiguous is only going to make you anxious, and take your focus off what actually matters and that is, “Is this thing that I am watching in-line with the character of Christ that I profess?”  We’re all going to struggle living up to that ideal, which is why we’re covered by grace.  But to answer the original question, no, it’s not automatically a sin to watch a superhero show where girls are shown to participate in combat.
You are definitely over-thinking that one.

https://www.fanbolt.com/113065/wandavision-miniseries-review-grief-and-trauma/
Spoilers Below
WandaVision, developed by Jac Schaffer, uses the MCU’s Wanda Maximoff and Vision along with a meta sitcom storyline to explore grief. After losing Vision in Avengers: Endgame, Wanda numbs her grief by creating a Sitcom World in Westview, New Jersey. She makes a perfect family with Vision. Every day is a new sitcom episode taking place in a different decade where nothing truly horrible can ever happen.
WandaVision is full of suspense and mystery. Acting Director of S.W.O.R.D. Tyler Hayward and witch Agatha Harkness are minor archenemies of our superheroes, but the real villain is trauma. Wanda only becomes Scarlet Witch when she faces her pain head-on and finds new strength within herself.
The Fake Pietro Maximoff (Quicksilver) storyline is a big letdown. Evan Peters plays Fake Pietro. Peters played mutant Peter Maximoff (Quicksilver) in the X Men Universe, which includes movies like X Men: Days of Future Past and Deadpool 2. When Fake Pietro first shows up at Wanda’s door at the end of “On a Very Special Episode …” I was hopeful that the character was Peter from the X-Men Universe. Perhaps Mutant Quicksilver is here to convince Wanda to free the people of Westview from her sitcom illusions. I mean, Fake Pietro does have all of Quicksilver’s speed. But I was also worried that Peters playing Fake Pietro was just an Easter Egg for X-Men fans. When “Breaking the Fourth Wall” reveals that Agatha is pulling Fake Pietro’s strings, I then thought it was possible that the witch somehow crossed the multi-verse to kidnap Peters.
Peters is the perfect Fake Pietro since he is the X-Men Alternative version of Wanda’s real twin brother. My hopes were dashed when Fake Pietro turns out to be local actor Ralph Boehner. Schaffer and the rest of the WandaVision writers had an opportunity to be MCU’s first introduction to the Multi-Universe, but instead, they just wrote a weak vulgar pun and a cute Easter Egg.
All of the MCU and sitcom references enhance the joy of watching the Disney Plus miniseries. The episodes are chock full of MCU Easter Eggs, especially from Avengers: Endgame, Captain Marvel, and Avengers: Age of Ultron. One of the leading secondary characters is Monica Rambeau, the daughter of Maria. Maria is best friends with Carol Danvers (Captain Marvel).
In “Previously On,” Monica has visions of Carol and Maria speaking to her as a little girl. These visions are straight out of Captain Marvel. The majority of the episodes are inspired by sitcoms somewhere between the 1950s to 2010s.
For example, “Don’t Touch That Dial” directly references 1960s Bewitched, especially with the opening credit sequence. The sequence is an animated series of scenes where Vision or Wanda is trying to act “normal” around town. In the episode, Wanda spends the entire magic show performance trying to mask Vision’s overzealous use of his powers.
Some of the first seven episodes also have commercials that appear like the ads from a particular decade. These ads also have references to the MCU and the Marvel comics. For example, in the 1970s, The Brady Bunch inspired “Now in Color” contains an advertisement for “Hydra Soak bath powder.” Marvel’s Hydra is an authoritarian paramilitary-subversive organization with its origins in an ancient religious cult and Nazism. Understanding these Easter Eggs helps viewers navigate the story and deepens their understanding of all the characters.
Wanda transforms into the Scarlet Witch when she faces her grief head-on. Episode Eight, “Previously On,” reveals that Wanda tried to say a proper goodbye to Vision. Even though the Avenger was Vision’s next of kin, Hayward blocked her from taking custody of his body. Wanda did not know how her witch chaos power worked, so she unconsciously created a “conditional” Vision and the Westview Sitcom World.
The Westview Sitcom World has enabled her to live in all the lost possibilities that Vision’s death destroyed. Scarlet Witch unconsciously chose sitcoms as the method because it’s always been a comfort source for her, and it’s a space where nothing truly horrible ever happens. But Wanda’s safe space hurt the citizens of Westview since she projected all of her pain into their psyches.
Wanda stole innocent people’s lives so she could deny Vision’s death. S.W.O.R.D. and Agatha trying to steal her “perfect” sitcom world family pushed her into the anger stage of grief. Wanda embraces the reality of her Scarlet Witch identity, accepts Vision’s death, transforms into a superhero, and defeats Agatha. Scarlet Witch drops the Westview Sitcom World illusion, but not before saying goodbye to her twins and Vision. She accepts that their love story is over for now, but her journey as a superhero has just begun. Wanda and Vision leave the possibility open that they may see each other again. He has already gone through several iterations.
I recommend the WandaVision miniseries to anybody who considers themselves a Marvel fan or a sitcom buff. For those who have not seen at least an episode of I Love Lucy, Bewitched, The Brady Bunch, Family Ties, Malcolm in the Middle, and The Modern Family, you should check them out so you can spot all the references. Watching everything from the MCU helps viewers understand most primary or secondary characters’ origin stories. Hopefully, sometime this year, we will all be in the theatres watching Black Widow on the big screen. Meanwhile, watch WandaVision on Disney Plus.

Walking The Wire - Bonus Chapter
Summary:
“I knew your mother,” Tony said, figuring it was the right way to start. “You know this. She used to work for me and I liked her a lot. We were friends and she sort of reached a part of me that very few people could in those days. I think it was partly because she was brilliant and because she didn’t bore me like most people did. I didn’t love her – not like that, but I cherished her friendship.”
“Mr. Stark why are you telling me–”
“She left when she found out she was pregnant,” Tony said and had to glance up, “and didn’t even bother to tell me about it.”
-
It was a one night stand and Tony had a lot of them, but this one changed everything. Tony always knew Peter Parker existed. He had no idea that Peter would become Spider-Man, but he kept tabs on his son, even when he couldn’t meet him. Peter Parker grew up unaware of his superhero father, admiring Iron Man from afar and unaware that one day he would too become a super-hero - an Avenger. Spanning the entirety of the MCU , this fic covers a canonical view of what it would be like if Peter was Tony’s biological son dwelving heavily into the canon. AU post-Infinity War with an AU version of Endgame. Stony endgame.
As of 8/12/19 this fic is complete.
-
Bonus Chapter: A look forward at life after Morgana joins the family.
Pairings: Pepper/Tony, Tony/Steve (endgame), Tony/Mary (past), Peter/MJ
Notes: This is a bonus chapter. One of hopefully a few more that I plan to write. (don’t know when) I’ve been wanting to revisit this verse for a long time and so here we are. This is a bunch of snapshots of what happens after the adoption goes through and this was completely self-indulgent but also meant for every single person that still thinks about this fic and that loved it the whole way through or that just read it recently because I do appreciate all of you and your kind words.
I do want to remind everyone that the Morgana of this verse is not quite Morgan from canon as Morgana is not Tony and Pepper’s daughter so I do want that slight distinction although of course it is up to the reader how they view it.
I hope you guys enjoy this new addition to Walking The Wire.
I used Collider’s MCU timeline to stay canon and the title of this fic is an Imagine Dragons song that is just so fitting for Peter and Tony.

Bonus Chapter - Morgana
-
Her hair was dark, not quite black but a deep brown and it fell right past her shoulders, messy and clearly tangled. She was on the floor, her small hands putting blocks together and ignoring anything around her to keep working. She didn’t even seem to notice that she was being watched.
“That’s her,” Steve said from next to Tony. He sounded awed.
The social worker nodded. “Yes. Morgana.”
Morgana stood up once her tower was complete. She walked over to a chest of toys and Tony noted that everything looked just a little worn down and well used. Then again, it was a children’s visiting room.
“Do you want to meet her?”
“Yes,” Tony said at once. Steve nodded next to him and gave Tony’s hand a squeeze. If all went well, they’d be meeting their daughter.
The social worker laughed. “I figured as much. Come on.”
Nerves hit him, then, and he had to stop.
“Tony?” Steve asked.
Tony took a breath and then he nodded and he followed after his husband and the social worker and then they were walking into the room. Morgana looked up when they entered, frowning a little, which just made her look even more adorable.
“Hi,” Tony said.
“Morgana, this is Tony and Steve,” the social worker said.
“Hi,” Morgana said, her voice low and shy. She looked at them, but then her eyes were focused on her toys again.
Tony stepped forward and Steve was close behind, bending down to her level.
“Do you mind if we play with you?” Steve asked. “We can help you build something.”
Morgan took a moment to think about it and then she nodded. It was easy after that. She let them sit with her and she instructed them on block placement and Tony knew that she belonged with them. It didn’t take long for her to warm up to them and for her to move closer . Morgana spoke a little often too low for Tony to catch what she was saying, but he wouldn’t change anything about her.
“I love her already,” Tony told Steve later when they were leaving.
When Steve smiled at him, eyes a bit watery, Tony knew that Steve agreed.
It was entirely possible that they had all gone a little crazy when setting up Morgana’s room. Peter would forever remember the way that Bucky had taken one look inside and just broken down into laughter. It was worse because it wasn’t even going to be her room for long considering the move although Peter figured Morgana would need a room at the tower as well as at the farm. The social worker hadn’t said much when she saw it.
He didn’t go with his dad and Steve to pick Morgana up in part because he didn’t want to deal with his dad and Steve acting so nervous — he’d already dealt with all that in the hours before they left to pick her up — but because Peter also had a small welcome home party to get together while they were gone. It included banners and balloons and K-9 getting in Peter’s way due to all the excitement.
Bucky and Sam were instrumental in getting a lot of the party planned without Tony and Steve knowing about it. Pepper too for that matter. Peter had also invited Aunt May, MJ, and Ned along with any Avenger that was around. Their family. Morgana’s new family.
Friday warned them when his dad and Steve were back, so they were all ready and waiting when the elevator doors opened and they stepped out.
Steve was holding his little sister. She lifted her head from his shoulder and looked around and her brown eyes seemed to take everything in before a curtain of her dark hair fell over her face.
“Who — we didn’t need this,” Tony said at once.
Peter stepped forward. “Morgana needs a welcome party,” he said with a shrug.
Morgana looked at him, then, and smiled.
“Hi,” Peter said.
She didn’t respond.
“She’s a bit shy,” his dad said with a grin and then ran a hand down her arm. “Hey, Morgana, we have someone we want you to meet. This is Peter.”
Her lips moved but she didn’t say anything. She didn’t say much to anyone and it made Peter wonder if maybe the party was a tad overwhelming for her. He didn’t have to worry long, though, because as soon as Morgana had gotten a bit more used to the new environment, she was more interested in meeting everyone.
“She’ll fit right in,” Pepper said to him.
“I think so,” Peter said.
—-
Peter realized fairly quickly that it wasn’t all fun and games, having a sister. She was cute. And when he first saw her he’d known right away that he was going to love her, but none of that had prepared him for what it meant to have a toddler in the tower. Or what it would do to Steve and his dad. At first it had been a bit funny and he and Bucky had gotten a kick out of it.
It was just that Morgana had started off quiet and shy, but as soon as she had gotten used to them — which had happened only after a few days — she had shown her energetic and mischievous side. She was curious and brave and willing to get into anything and everything. The baby proofing did it’s job at keeping her safe, but that didn’t mean that she couldn’t get into trouble in other ways like how she’d managed to somehow detach K-9’s ear or how she’d snuck into Peter’s room and gotten into his webbing and gotten stuck to the foot of his desk.
Worse than keeping up with her and someone needing to watch her all the time was that she was a difficult eater and even worse to get into a bath or into her bed — even when tired. It was just a little bit funny to see his dad and Steve so defeated by a little girl.
Still, she brought with her a joy that made their family whole. Peter loved the moments when he could sit with her and play with her legos or when he could get her to sit still long enough to watch a Disney movie. Morgana loved The Little Mermaid best followed closely by Mulan.
Sometimes, Peter caught Steve looking at Morgana like he was shocked to see her there. It was a happy shock, the surprise that nothing had truly troubled them since Thanos.
His dad was full of warmth when it came to Morgana. He was just so much lighter and so much happier and at peace even if sometimes it did seem like all the nights when he’d spent not sleeping had done nothing to prepare him for how wearing it could be to take care of a child.
“You’ll be happier when we’re not in your hair, won’t you, kid?” Tony said one day while they were down in the workshop.
Peter was working on figuring out how to get marker off of K-9. K-9 had been programmed to give Morgana free reign which meant that Morgana did whatever she liked with the robot dog. Peter was glad the dog wasn’t a real dog that could actually get hurt although he doubted that Morgana would have hurt an actual living animal. She thought of K-9 like a toy.
“Who even gave her markers?” Peter asked.
“Steve was giving her an art lesson,” his dad said. “But that’s what I’m talking about. You’re ready to go off to college and not have me and Steve around, aren’t you?”
In truth, he was probably going to miss all of them.
“And, well, your sister is a handful,” Tony added.
“Clearly meant to be your daughter,” Peter said.
Morgana even kind of looked like Tony a little and Peter supposed that meant that she also sort of looked like him since he took after Tony in some respects.
“Yeah, well,” Tony said.
“I’m always going to need you,” Peter said eventually after trying acetone on the scribbles that Morgana had proclaimed to be flowers earlier. “And this is not coming off. I think she used permanent marker.”
“So give him a new paint job,” his dad said. “Well, I expect a lot of visits. At least once a week.”
“Might be pushing it with school and Spider-Man.”
“Well as often as you can come, then? Steve will get lonely if you don’t come around.”
Peter laughed. “Sure he will.”
On the day of the big move, Peter and Steve did the bulk of moving things into a Quinjet while Tony watched Morgana. There wasn’t actually a lot moving over since his dad had elected to just furnish the farmhouse with brand new everything. The lab in the tower was staying at it was and the one in the barn had already been outfitted. Mostly, the things moving were Steve’s art things, their clothing, some of Morgana’s toys and a few other odds and ends for which a replacement or double wouldn’t suffice. His dad was taking a singular suit over seeing as he really had stuck to his retirement — other than that whole incident with the field trip and Beck — but it was still always a good precaution to keep a suit around.
His dad seemed pretty confident that he’d be returning to the tower from time to time despite his wish for the quiet farm life. Part of it, Peter knew, would be because of SI and because of Peter.
Peter flew with them in the Quinjet and between him and Steve they unloaded everything but didn’t bother to get any of the unpacking done.
Morgana was excited about being outside near grass. She ran around squealing and pointing out things like butterflies and had even somehow gotten ahold of a ladybug that she ran up to Peter to show off before it flew away.
“She loves it here already,” Steve said, a hand landing on Peter’s shoulder.
They watched her together as Tony picked her up and spun her in the air to a new round of giggling. Sometimes, watching his dad with Morgan gave him a bitter taste in his mouth that made him wish that he had gotten to be raised by him. As if sensing what he was thinking, Steve’s hand squeezed his shoulder.
“It took everything in him. In both of us to not steal you as a baby. Not that it actually would have changed anything for you with the way time travel works.”
“I know,” Peter said and he let Steve pull him into a side-hug.
“We love you, kid.”
Peter chuckled. It wasn’t something he didn’t already know. “I love you too, Steve.”
Tony didn’t know how people had more than just one kid. He really had no idea how they handled it because just the single one was a handful — more than that, she required two hands at all times. Morgana had endless energy. It seemed, even, that she could tire Steve out. Nonetheless, Tony didn’t regret for even a minute adopting her. She made the change from superhero to civilian life worth it. Tony was also finding himself understanding Clint a hell of a whole lot more.
“She’s out,” Steve said. “She likes hearing about her big brother.”
“Better Spider-Man than either of us,” Tony said with a grin.
Steve rolled his eyes and dropped into the bed with a tired sigh. “It’s not even nine,” he said. “How am I so tired?”
“I told you not to go on a run this morning.”
Steve just groaned and Tony couldn’t help but laugh, but he still moved to sit next to his husband and he reached for Steve’s hand. “Mrs. Hawkeye says they’re energetic at this age.”
“Mrs. Hawkeye,” Steve repeated. “Since when do you have conversations with Clint’s wife?”
“Since she’s the only person I could think of to call when Morgana had that fever a few weeks ago.”
Tony had been freaking out that day. Steve had been off at the Avengers Compound meeting with Carol, T’Challa, and Rocket about something Tony didn’t even want to know much about so it had been Tony on his own at the farm with their daughter. Thinking about Morgana as his daughter, it always warmed his heart. On that particularly day, though, with Morgana spiking a fever and Friday offering him help that Tony couldn’t help but feel just wasn’t enough, he’d called May but she wasn’t picking up and so he’d called Bruce who told him everything Friday had already told him to do. Somehow, Tony had ended up calling Laura. Mrs. Hawkeye.
She was the only one that got it, how it felt to have a sick child and the not knowing what would happen next. Since then, they’d started texting and she started giving him parenting advice or just talking about the whole experience of raising a young child. It was nice in a weird way. In the way that he could have a whole hour long video call with Shuri about any of their projects and then a few minutes after it was over get a call from Laura Barton and have a whole completely different kind of talk.
“I’m sorry I wasn’t here for that,” Steve said.
By the time that Steve had gotten back to the farm, Morgana had been mostly better, if less rambunctious. She’d gone back to normal a few days later.
“You didn’t miss much,” Tony said. “Anyway, I’m gonna let you rest, old man. I have a few more things to get done in the lab. The new suit for Peter is coming along and I’m hoping to finish it before this weekend.”
Steve sat up and pulled him into a quick kiss first.
“Don’t stay up too late. The little miss will want you up early for breakfast.”
“The rooster will hopefully be up after her,” Tony said.
Steve let out a tired sigh. “Remember when I didn’t want chickens?”
No one knew for sure how or when Morgana decided to start calling Tony dad, but Steve was pretty sure that it was somehow related to Peter. Morgana looked up to him, loved him in a different way. It was a sibling thing, but it was also because Peter came and went but was still very much a part of their family. Peter also tended to just have endless energy and time for Morgana when he came to visit.
It still came as a surprise to him and Tony when on a Monday after Peter had gone back to the city for school, when they were sitting down for breakfast, Morgana just said:
“Dad, can I have more juice?”
They must have stared at her for a long moment before her face twisted with confusion.
“You are my dad aren’t you? Like you’re Peter’s dad?” Morgana had asked then, looking at Tony.
“Yeah,” Tony said then, his voice gruffer than usual and full of emotion. “Of course I am.”
“Can I have more juice?” Morgana asked again. She didn’t realize the effect she had on them.
Steve got up to get it and refill the cup for her. When he sat back down, Tony shared a smile with him and then looked at Morgana as she took a few sips of her juice.
“Hey, kiddo,” Tony said, “do you know that Steve is your dad too?”
Morgana scrunched up her face in confusion and Tony just grinned.
“But...I can’t call him dad too,” Morgana said. “Can I?”
They had never actually discussed the whole thing. With Peter, Steve had always just been Steve and Steve had never minded even though Peter may as well have been his son. He loved him that way. They were family.
It didn’t surprise Steve when a few days later, Morgana was calling him, “papa” although it did make him choke up a little. That did surprise him.
“Why didn’t you tell me if would feel like that?” Steve asked Tony later that night.
“What?”
“Her calling me papa,” Steve said. “Felt like it wasn’t just us that chose her, but that she was deciding that it’s true. Deciding she’s ours.”
Tony kissed him.
The weekends when Peter managed to go to the farm were some of the best ones. A few times, MJ had gone with him and other times Ned just to get out of the city for a while. It was nice to retreat and to go to a place where things were just different. It wasn’t exactly peaceful at the farm. His dad had gone ahead with the plan of getting chickens and a few cows. Steve had called him in a panic at one point when he saw that Tony was looking at alpacas. So far no alpacas had appeared at the farm, but it was likely that they would soon.
“Peter, be the voice of reason,” Steve had said over the phone. “We can’t house more animals here.”
“Technically, you have plenty of space,” Peter reminded him. He still wanted to get a real dog for the farm.
It always seemed like there was something going on there, but then Tony Stark needed to be entertained and kept busy and having a toddler wasn’t enough to do that. His dad still worked on a lot of the tech for The Avengers and he helped in any way that he could as long as it didn’t mean leaving the farm. Peter suspected that his dad was convinced that if he went over to the tower or to the compound that he would get pulled into whatever the team was dealing with hands on. He wasn’t opposed to any of The Avengers visiting. He would even happily take visits from The Guardians.
Steve was still more involved and Peter wasn’t too surprised the couple of times that he’d actually run into him when he joined The Avengers when something was going wrong in the city. Peter didn’t do a whole lot of work with The Avengers unless he really needed to. Being a college student, he hardly had the time but Peter was unwilling to give up being Spider-Man.
He didn’t get to visit his dad and Steve every single weekend, but he did go as often as he could. Sometimes, his dad would just show up at the tower because it’d been too long between visits and Peter loved getting those surprises. Sometimes it was just his dad, but most of the time it was Steve and Morgana too which was always fun.
So, it was a nice surprise for his dad when Peter managed to do two weekends in a row. He’d managed to finish up all his papers early and other than some reading, Peter didn’t have any school work for once and he hadn’t planned to go to the farm, but then it turned out that MJ was too busy to see him. He had considered going to see Aunt May but she was scheduled to be at work all weekend. So, Peter had made the choice to go back to the farm.
Morgana had been the first to see him arrive because she was outside playing in the playhouse that he and Tony had built her before the semester started. At first the plan had been for a tree house until Steve pointed out that Morgana might fall if she decided to go up there without anyone watching her. Which, knowing Morgana, was likely.
“Peter!” Morgana yelled when she spotted him and threw herself at his legs. He let her crash into him, but then grabbed her under the armpits and swung her up into the air, before he brought her down into a hug.
She laughed and squirmed in his arms. “Dad’s working,” she told him. “But Papa is making lunch.”
He raised an eyebrow at hearing her call them dad and papa. It felt new and right at all once. It did make him wonder what had finally made her decide to call them that. Peter had done a bit of research about adoption and the kinds of things that adopted kids went through. Morgana, so far, didn’t seem to be struggling with it.
“Well, come on, then, we’ll sneak into the workshop first.”
She grinned at him.
Later that night, Morgana insisted that Peter read her a bedtime story. He read to her from one of the many children books that she had accumulated on a bookshelf and it was after he’d finished one story that she grabbed his wrist.
“Peter, why do you call papa, Steve?”
“Uh...that’s his name,” Peter said.
“But he’s your papa too,” Morgana said and then yawned.
Peter decided to ignore the question. “So one more story, you said?”
She nodded and settled into her bed again.
Peter read to her, but his mind was elsewhere. The thing about it was that Steve was his other dad. There was no denying that and they all knew it. It was just that there had never needed to be any label put on that. Peter did remember the one single time when he’d come close to calling Steve “dad”, back right after the field trip when it had been him and Steve and hot chocolate and Steve had been there for him through the whole mess. He’d come close to saying it then, but it just hadn’t happened and Peter didn’t think he ever needed to call him that.
He thought it over, over the next few days especially since Morgana tended to glare at him every time that he called Steve, Steve.
“It’s nice seeing you around here more often,” Tony said on Sunday when Peter was preparing to head out.
“Yeah...I don’t know if I’ll be back before Spring Break, now,” Peter admitted.
“We’ll visit,” Steve said. “I’ve been craving some apple crostini so there’s lots of reasons to go.”
Peter laughed and Steve nudged his shoulder. “So, Morgana stopped calling you guys by your names.”
Steve smiled in such a pleased way that Peter almost felt like he should be congratulating him.
“We think it’s a good sign that she really sees us as her family,” his dad said. “Oh...and before I forget. I have some web fluid for you.”
Morgana appeared then to say goodbye to Peter before she returned to chasing the chickens out of their coop.
“You know, he got those chickens and I never see him out there collecting eggs or cleaning out that coop,” Steve said.
“I think he’s trying to get U or Butterfingers to do it,” Peter said. “Or maybe he’ll build a whole new robot just to take care of the chickens.”
At that Steve laughed, but they both knew it would be a real possibility.
“Papa! Look...there’s an egg!” Morgana yelled to them and sure enough she was holding a brown egg in her hand.
Steve took it from her before she dropped it.
“Missed one,” Peter said. “But it’s nice to know she’s settling in with you. And I guess. Well maybe it’s a sign I call you something other than Steve,” Peter said. “She kinda mentioned it to me...that you’re my dad too.”
Steve sort of froze. “Peter, you don’t—”
Peter just smiled at him. “She’s right. Kind of. As right as a four year old can be.”
“Morgana is never wrong,” his dad said when he returned carrying a bag with the bottles of web fluid.
Peter grinned at them both. “Well, I should get going.”
He hugged his dad and then Steve and as he was walking away he turned and called out to them, “I’ll miss you, Dad. Pops.”
Steve chuckled and Peter turned away from them.
Morgana’s birthday was a big affair. It was her first birthday with them and what Tony had originally intended to be a small party became something much bigger when word got out to Natasha that there was going to be a party. She managed to invite everyone.
Morgana didn’t have any friends her age because she didn’t go to school yet or go to any childcare places, but she was fond enough of all the adults in her life as well as Clint’s kids that she didn’t seem too bothered by it. Tony thought that maybe they did need to socialize her more. A kid couldn’t spend all their time with chickens. Then again, she would be starting school soon. Most kids made friends there.
It was nice to have everyone around for something happy, too. Rhodey had elected to be the one in charge of the grill with Bucky helping him out so at least Tony didn’t have to deal with that. Instead, Tony got to sit and catch up with his friends. They didn’t talk about Avengers business much but Tony got caught up on a few of the things that had happened recently. Nothing as bad as Thanos. Still, the universe was ever throwing things their way.
Natasha filled him in on their newer recruits and how they were considering having a second Avengers team situated on the West Coast and Tony figured it was probably a good idea.
Tony also got to catch up with Laura in person for once. Morgana was enjoying her time with Laura’s kids even if they did keep going to disturb the chickens.
Tony spotted Peter around with MJ and Ned at his side. Somehow, his kid was still starstruck by Thor. He did see MJ making fun of him with the help of Shuri while Ned tried to defend him. Peter was grown up. It was weird to think about him that way, but it was true. He was in college and thriving and he was Spider-Man and that was working out well for him. Tony was proud if maybe less willing to just let him go. It would be the same with Morgana one day, he knew. It just meant he would need to cherish all his time with her.
By the time that it was time for the big birthday cake that Happy had gone to pick up and that Pepper had ordered, Tony had managed to have a few minutes with everyone that had come and he’d realized that the last time he saw everyone was the wedding.
“Nice to have them around,” Steve said.
“It is. Although, Thor already broke the chicken coop. And...I think there was a minor fire in the living room.”
Someone laughed loudly and when Steve nudged him, Tony was aware that he really didn’t mind.
The cake was brought out with a few candles adorning the top of it. Morgana clapped her hands while they sang to her and she leaned forward and blew out her candles, getting cake on her hair in the process.
“Remember, you have to wish for something,” Peter told her.
Later, Tony saw Peter asking her what she wished for, but she wouldn’t answer him. “It won’t come true if I tell.”
“Is it a dog? Because I want a dog and I know you probably want a dog.”
Morgana refused to answer and Peter kept pestering until she ran away from him. So, Tony went to sit next to him.

Notes: I really loved going back into this world and into these characters. It’s strange because having been removed from this fic for so long, I don’t quite remember all the details. But I did want to explore a bit more of this world even if there is no concrete plot. I hope anyone reading this enjoyed it.
Also...look, I managed to do this about 11 months after the epilogue was posted which is insane because I wanted to have something up maybe a month or two after the epilogue was posted. But less than a year still so there’s that. lol.
And I do still have plans to write at least one more bonus chapter focusing on a version of Far From Home. (I hope it won’t take me 11 months to do so). I have a lot of it written, actually, but it needs a lot of plot related polishing. So do expected it eventually.
Thanks again to anyone reading and I’d love you hear your thoughts on this bonus chapter. :)

     *  Note: Since LOGAN takes place in a dystopian world set in  the 20th Century Fox world of their ‘XMEN’ in 2029 -- I’ve had to tweak Laura’s canon timeline to fit in with the MCU. These are my compiled ideas/notes for where Laura would/might fit in, according to the MCU timeline. This can also be amended/altered depending upon who I am writing with & whatever stories we come up with on the sides. I will update/list those verses within this list as well. XO. - Betty.
2012.  AVENGERS.   ✗ verse: ( mcu 001. avengers. )  i am not my enemy.
Tumblr media
2002, Alkali-Transigen  aka ‘Essex Corp’ ) conducts it’s second round of the Weapon-X program utilizing children ‘perfected’ in a lab/facility. Laura Howlett ( known as X23 amid the program ) was ‘born’ into the program, the daughter of an unknown Latina woman ( who is more than likely murdered by the company shortly after Laura’s birth ) & James Howlett aka The Wolverine.       2012, a 7 year-old ‘killing dream’ begins her hardcore training under the Transigen umbrella, having grown up within their cage and knowing nothing but life within ‘The Facility’. During the events of ‘The Avengers’, Transigen ( more than likely a subsidiary or sister-company to HYDRA ) attempts to gather knowledge/the power of the alien forces that attack Earth. It is quite possible during this attack, the Xmen join the Avengers. - Transigen utilizes newer technology to harness a killing serum that triggers and strengthens the children’s mutant abilities. Through the years they continue to medicate and test the formula out on the children, including Laura;  to which they discover if they choose a specific target, she will stop at nothing until said target is vanquished.
Tumblr media
2015.  AGE OF ULTRON.  ✗ verse: ( mcu 002. ultron. )  i can do anything.
Tumblr media
2013,  8-year-old Laura, along with her ‘brothers and sisters’ attempt to escape from the underground jail in Mexico ( where she was ‘born’ ) when given word/hope of a safe haven full of mutant-kind. The children are provided stories with the help of comic books smuggled into the facility. Some of which include stories of The Avengers, while others house a storyline shadowing the truth about the XMEN. Upon their first attempt of escape, the children are unsuccessful, and Essex Corp demands that they relocate to a ‘more secure’ unit in New York City. In 2015, the attack of ULTRON commences, more or less rocking the hard walls of the New York facility to rubble.        For the most part, with the help of HYDRA, Transigen is able to gather up their little ‘test subjects’, some having successfully gotten away, sadly Laura not being among them.      2016, an 11-year-old Laura with the help of the nurses, including Gabby, leads the pack to escape once more. It’s here Laura encounters her father ( Wolverine/James LOGAN Howlett ), Xavier & Caliban by psionic-ally following Charles’ guidance. During this timeline she goes on the wild chase, running from Transigen and relying on what remains of Logan’s strength. The climax ends with Xavier’s passing and Logan’s sacrifice, and the children successfully fleeing for the Canadian border to ‘Eden’ aka the safe haven which turns out to be a new school for the gifted, headlined by a group of vigilante mutants ( aka, the plotline of Mangold’s LOGAN. )      It should also be noted that during this time period, the X-men are dwindling/dying out, and going into hiding due to many people either wanting to lock them up out of fear or provide them ID badges and what not ( similar to the plot of the ‘Civil War’ in the comics. )
Tumblr media
2017.  CIVIL WAR.   ✗ verse: ( mcu 003. civil war. )  my choice mine.
Tumblr media
At 12, Laura quietly slips from the safe haven ( headmistress at this time being Emma Frost ) , feeling as though she’s really more of a danger than anything else, specifically due to the ‘death’ serum. Laura cannot control herself when injected with it, especially if she’s provided a ‘target’. To think she could end up killing one of her own terrifies her, not to mention the more she keeps running the less likely Transigen is to discover her.       During the time of the Avengers’ ‘Civil War’  ( between Tony & Steve ), Laura is only a child but spotted through the streets of New York. A time or two, Tony witnesses the feral child having pick-pocketing or slyly stealing a thing or two of necessity. Unable to confine the child or discover her whereabouts, he becomes aware of the ‘mutant strain’ in DNA, now knowing there is far more to this life than other worlds, planets, Norse gods and experimental projects gone wrong like Banner -- Hydra’s been hiding the secret unit to which not only have they began to suppress the X-gene that creates the ‘mutants’ but that they’ve been testing the effects of their serums and juices and what have you on children more-or-less created in a lab with the specific function of utilizing them as some ultimate mutant army. It is a terrible and harsh reality and one he does not take to lightly.      Contrary to the comics’ canon ( & the Xmen’s Civil War ) when Tony discovers she is a mutant child born and raised the way she was, he almost feels an obligation to protect her from others who felt mutants ought to be branded or ID’d and what not. ( A bit contradictory to the Xmen comics, I know, but it makes sense when you think of Steve/Capt America in the comics and how against Laura he was in the beginning, I feel he’d be a little apprehensive in the MCU as well. This could change depending upon whom I’m writing with. )       On the search for a place to help her ‘lay low’, Tony keeps her at the compound, until Pepper insists she just come on home with her. ( Again, this can be adapted depending upon the individual story. )
Tumblr media
2018.  HOMECOMING.   ✗ verse: ( mcu 004. homecoming. )  are you sure i deserve salvation?
Tumblr media
At age 13, since Pepper thinks it best that the pre-teenage girl get used to a ‘normal’ life, Laura begins attending public school, where she continues to attempt to ‘lay low’. Of course she does her very best to fit in, though there are many ‘human’ things she’s unaware of such as personal space and certain topics of speech. She basically follows the lead of people she feels she can trust like Peter Parker. Technically since Laura also ages much slower than most everyone, she will be a teenager for a longer period in her life. It is within these confines that she learns more about humanity, her compassion for the human race quite evident and her curiosity ever the more present. She spends a lot of time making up for lost time in her childhood, things she’s never discovered, places she’s never been -- a life she never knew she could have.  2019/2023.  ENDGAME.   ✗ verse: ( mcu 005. endgame. )  i’m f*cking wolverine.
Tumblr media
During INFINITY WAR ( obviously just prior to this timeline ) Laura of course fights along side the team sustaining little to no injury even though she could’ve severed a limb or two, due to her mutation, she recovers rather quickly. Upon the realization that she could lose her family of mutants with Thanos’ plan, she scurries to get back to the school, begging many of the others to fight along side the Avengers. She succeeds in convincing several of the XMEN, including but not limited to Emma Frost,  to take part in the battle... but it is only to their demise as her healing is too rapid for his ‘curse’ and rather than fluttering into ash, she witnesses all those she holds dear dissipate having to see, once again, the utter destruction of those she holds dear. It tears her apart from the inside.       In 2023, Laura is just about to turn 17. -- Upon Tony’s return from space (2019), and the realization that Pepper hadn’t been taken away, Laura barricades herself within the hope she can have a somewhat normal family. She stays with Pepper and Tony, far away from the compound. She takes up her roll as a sister-figure to Morgan, something she absolutely takes seriously. She’d give it all up for this little girl -- hell, for this family. Tony stands in as an unlikely father-figure, but even moreso, Pepper as her mother. ( Again, these choices can be adapted/tweaked depending upon the storyline/plot we have -- maybe Laura grew up at the compound, or with someone else or with Aunt May... the possibilities/ what-ifs are endless... She could’ve also gone off on her feral way, etc etc. )
Tumblr media
When the final battle hits, and those who were taken away appear within the portals, a sudden relief washes over her. She has much more to fight for, and she gives it her all. But it is at the loss of Tony where she feels her world crumble once more, wondering if she should go off on her own and call it good, because it seems no matter where she attempts to land, there is far more loss to be had. She contemplates whether or not Logan had it correct when he was always insistent they stay far away from people, isolate and keep to themselves. Of course that was a much different time in the world and Transigen/Hydra has/have more things to worry about than hunting her down lately -- still, it’s a threat.        With Peter Parker’s ( and possibly others ) insistence, she remains close by. 2023/24.  FAR FROM HOME.  ✗ verse: ( mcu 006. far from home. )  el que con lobos anda a aullar se enseña.
Tumblr media
Basically, Laura ( now, tech, post-snap almost 18 ) is hanging out with SHIELD, there to aid Peter where needed, more or less helping to keep an eye on him, along with Happy doing her best to stay out of trouble.

I’m Still Your Sunshine (Tony Stark x Daughter!Reader)
Description: A continuation of the songfic “Sunshine” which follows the events of endgame.
Author’s note: hi guys. So I worked really, really hard on this piece, and honestly, I think it turned out really nice. This is the second verse of “You are my Sunshine,” which is kind of a response to the first verse, so that’s how I treated it, with the entire thing in your POV. I really hope you all like it!
Tumblr media
I’m still your sunshine
It came back slow, the feeling of being alive -- almost like waking up from a deep sleep just as the sun began to rise, shining through the window of your bedroom.  It’s the kind of sleep that leaves you feeling simply refreshed in the morning and ready to take on the day.
Unfortunately, that peace was rather short-lived; it left the moment I remembered what had happened -- the moment I remembered leaving my dad.
Quickly, I shot upright, panic coursing through my veins as I whipped back and forth, searching for my father.  Quick, shallow breaths got shorter and shorter by the second, my vision getting more and more blurry when I couldn’t find him right away.
He couldn’t have died, not him.  He was way too stubborn to not figure out a way to survive.  Right? Right?!
A hand rested on my shoulder, and immediately I jumped around, arms flailing to try and land a hit on the intruder.
“(Y/N), it’s just me!” the voice sounded like it was coming from far away, on the shore of the ocean where I was drowning.  There was no air, no light. I couldn’t find my way out.  I was scared. I just wanted to see my dad.
I had to find him.  He’ll definitely save me, just like he always has -- just like he promised he always would.
“(Y/N), it’s me, it’s Peter!  Just calm down, ok?!”
Peter.
I knew Peter.  He was the one that dad recruited.  I hated him at first, when he’d stolen my spot in the Civil War, but it didn’t take long for him to weasel his way into becoming one of my best friends.
Little by little, my breathing started to slow down. Suddenly, I could feel Peter’s arms around me, keeping me as close as possible until I calmed down. And... my cheeks felt wet, too. I must’ve been crying.
“It’s ok, I’ve got you,” Peter murmured, refusing to loosen his grip on me for a second.  I could only nod into his shoulder as I tried to focus simply on calming down.
Your only sunshine
I glanced over at everyone else, each of them alive and standing just like I was.  But... how?  And more importantly, how long were we all away?
“Five years.”  He seemed to read my mind.  Was that one of Dr. Strange’s powers?  I didn’t think so, but then again, he wasn’t exactly forthcoming with a lot of information.
“My dad?” My voice was hoarse and sounded foreign as I asked about the only thing I really cared about.
“He needs our help,” he stated simply.  Ugh, that was just like him, wasn’t it?
“Whatever he needs,” I answered confidently, straightening up and lifting my chin to stare at the man before me.  I could see Peter nod out of the corner of my eye as well as all of the -- what did they call themselves?  The Guardians of the Galaxy? Oh well, it didn’t matter as long as they were willing to help my dad.
Dr. Strange opened one of those weird yellow circles that he loved so much, and before long, we were jumping through it and onto what looked like a massive battlefield, surrounded by every ally I could have ever imagined.
Still, I was focused on one thing and one thing only: Steve Rogers, the man who used to think of as an uncle until he decided to betray my father.  The man who was standing alone.
I managed to catch his eye for a second, but before I could even say anything, he had turned away.  It looked like I would have to find my dad on my own.
“AVENGERS!” Steve summoned Mjolnir... wait, WHAT? “...assemble.”  Ok, I’ll figure it out later.  Time to fight.
I’ll always love you
The fight was unbelievable.  I almost couldn’t tell where one side began and the other side ended.  Really, I was just focused on hitting anything that looked gross, which was actually working pretty well.
Suddenly, everything stopped.
It.. it was him.  He was right there, hugging Peter, and he was ok!
“Dad!” I screamed at the top of my lungs, fresh tears stinging my eyes.  Immediately, he looked up and our eyes met.
I started running so hard that I almost fell a few times as my feet struggled to keep up.  My chest was tight, each breath fighting to get through the sobs trapped in my throat. But I didn’t care about all of that. All I cared about was seeing him again.
Finally, after what felt like an eternity, I was crashing into his arms.  Together, the two of us sank to the ground.  I could feel him sobbing just as hard as I was as he held me as tight as he could, almost as if he was afraid to let me go again. I wouldn’t even dream of complaining, though. I felt the exact same way.
“I-I thought you were gone,” I gasped shakily, my hands clutching onto anything they could hold to remind myself that he was still there, still with me.
“I would never leave you, sunshine.  I’m right here, I promise,” he muttered, pressing a long kiss to the top of my head.  “It’s ok.  We’re ok.”
Though I’m away
I wanted to stay like that forever, but we both knew it couldn’t happen.  Eventually we would have to keep fighting.  No matter what, we had to win.
“Scott, how long you need to get that thing working?” My dad was the one who broke the fantasy.  Quickly, I wiped my eyes, and together, we stood back up just in time to see a passing Dr. Strange.
“Hey!” I snapped, stopping the wizard in his tracks.  “You said one out of 14 million, we win, yeah?  Tell me this is it!”
He frowned and glanced at my dad before turning back to me.  “If I tell you what happens, it won’t happen.”  I searched deeper into his eyes, looking for the cryptic meaning behind his words. There was something there that I couldn’t figure out, but whatever it was, it made me sick to my stomach.
“You better be right,” my dad nodded, laying a hand on my shoulder.  I glanced up at him, worried.
Something didn’t feel right.
I’m still your sunshine
It was a mad dash for the gauntlet.  The flying woman had it for a while, but she lost it when a rusty old van exploded, and now, it was lying on the ground.
Run.  I had to run.  I couldn’t let Thanos get there first.
My dad covered me and tackled the massive, wrinkly grape, but I wasn’t really paying attention.  All I was focused on was the piece of metal lying just a few feet away.  I finally reached it, but just before I could grab it, I was sent flying by a large purple hand.
I gritted my teeth together and forced myself back to my feet just in time to see Strange holding up one finger -- a warning but also a reassurance.  We could still win.
I screamed and raced forward, tackling Thanos while dad yanked on the gauntlet, but before I could even hope to rip it off his hand, he punched us both away.
I couldn’t believe it.  We... we lost.  “I am... inevitable.”  I squeezed my eyes shut, waiting for it to happen all over again.  Waiting for that terrible cold feeling to come back.
“And I... am... Iron Man.”  My eyes snapped back open to see my dad with a gauntlet of his own.
And he snapped.
And it was all over.
Just only yours dear
After a while of staring in wonder as Thanos’s entire army turned to dust around us, we all came to the same incredible realization.
We really did it.
We actually won.
I turned to my dad, a wide smile on my face, ready to hug him, congratulate him on winning the war for us and probably throw in a few jabs about how he always has to be the biggest hero.  Then I saw him. And suddenly, my smile disappeared.
I dragged myself numbly back to my feet, staring at my father where he sat, burns covering the entire right half of his body. If felt like there was a bubble in my chest, pushing against my heart and lungs and stomach. I kept waiting it to fill with terror or anger or grief or something, but it merely sat there. Like it was just waiting to be popped.
Peter ran past me on my right, and I stumbled a bit.  I think it was Bucky, or maybe it was Sam, who helped me back to my feet.  I didn’t really care who it was. I just kept walking.
I heard FRIDAY say something along the lines of, “Life functions critical,” but it didn’t really register above the ringing sound that was banging against the inside of my skull.
I fell to my knees next to Pepper in front of him, my entire body shaking as I took in just how bad it really was -- as I realized that my dad, my hero and my constant savior, wasn’t going to make it.
“Hey, sunshine,” he whispered.
I took a deep, shaky breath in, forcing back tears.  I didn’t want his last moments to be spent seeing me cry.  He hated it when I cried. Somehow, he always thought it was his fault when it never really was. “Hey, dad,” I smiled a bit, though we both knew it was fake.  “Everyone’s fine now.  We’re ok, thanks to you.”  My voice broke as the lump in my throat grew overwhelming, keeping me from saying anything more.
Pepper nodded, her hand laid gently on top of my own.  “We’re gonna be ok.  You can rest now.”
There we sat, watching as the arc reactor in his chest flickered off. Watching as the life left my dad’s eyes.  Pepper started crying on his shoulder, but I could only sit back and stare at the man who’d raised me, who had given everything to me, suddenly gone.
And I was alone.
And I’m coming home someday
It was a nice funeral — classy, of course, considering Pepper was the one who put it together.  But it still didn’t change the fact that the greatest man I’d ever known — the greatest man this world had ever seen — was gone.
I felt a slight tug on my hand, and I glanced down to see my younger sister -- part of me still couldn’t believe I actually had a little sister.  She was staring up at me with wide eyes, curious eyes that looked frighteningly similar to dad’s. She probably didn’t even understand what was going on.  Then again, she was her father’s daughter, so she’s probably a genius.
“What’s up, Morgan?” I struggled to smile at least a little bit, crouching down so I could be at her level.
“I’m hungry,” she said simply.
I chuckled a bit.  “How ‘bout you and I go get some cheeseburgers?” She nodded back.  “Dad always did love those things, huh?” I asked absentmindedly as I led her past the crowd, ducking to avoid the endless stares of pity that followed us, and back inside the little cabin. It was just like the one he used to always dream about taking me to when everything was over — when we wouldn’t have to be heroes anymore.
“We can get as many cheeseburgers as you want, okay?”
“Okay.”
We ate lunch together.  She was a good kid. I could tell.  And from the moment I first saw her, I made a promise to myself and to my dad that I would protect her since he couldn’t any more, and it seemed like she understood.  In no time at all, we had become inseparable.
After lunch, she started yawning, so I took her to her room for a nap.  I hesitated a moment after I had tucked her in.  I didn’t want to leave just yet. “Hey, how about a lullaby?”
Morgan nodded, and I smiled, settling in next to her so she could lay her head on my lap.
The familiar lullaby left my lips like it was nothing.  I was singing my dad’s part -- the part that had gotten me through some of the worst times in my life.  It had ended far too quickly. I wanted to stay longer, to be with her. But before I could even think of getting out of the bed, I heard it.
Morgan’s little voice drifting through the bedroom with the same response to the song my dad had taught me so long ago, stopping me in my tracks.
I felt something wet rolling down my cheeks.
I... I was crying.
For the first time since the day of the battle, I was crying.  But somehow, I wasn’t too sad. No, it felt more like a reassurance — like suddenly I knew that everything was going to be ok.
I snapped out of my trance long after the song had finished and glanced fondly down at my little sister, who was already half asleep by then.
“I love you,” she mumbled tiredly.
I smiled and laid a gentle hand on her head, smoothing her hair away from her face.
“I love you, too, sunshine.”
Yes I’ll be coming home someday

The Mosley Review: Best Films of 2019
Tumblr media
Wohoo! 2019 has come and gone and man did it fly by. This year we had sooooo many fantastic films and this year was probably the hardest list to put together. I really wanted to include alot more, but I had to make a few cuts. Now I tend to keep my list to the traditional 10 films, but on some occasions I've extended it to 11. This is one of those occasions. I have one runner up that is worth mentioning and I think it should not be missed.
Tumblr media
Missing Link: Many animated films are computer generated now and the art of hand drawn animation is rarely shown. The one type of animation that is all but extinct is stop motion animation. It takes time, patience and passion to bring to life characters with such sophistication and care in an almost forgotten art form. The masterminds at Laika are truly imaginative artist and this film shows that in every frame. Not many films take the story of the myth behind Sasquatch to fun places without being hokey and I was relieved that this film took it seriously and pumped so much fun and heart into the story and I think this was a hidden gem of 2019. Click the title for my full review.
Now, on to my list of 2019's best films of the year. If you want my full review of each film then go ahead and click the title of each film. First one up is definitely a fantastic sequel to a film that the author hated, but loved the film adaptation of his second book.
Tumblr media
Doctor Sleep: The Shining is a classic that can never really be touched. Stephen King is famously known for disliking the film adaptation of his novel, but with his blessing placed upon Mike Flanagan's vision for the sequel novel, we got this magnificent film. Not only does this film pay tribute to Stanley Kubrick's film, but it also follows the same rules and visual structure while keeping the film fresh. The tone was consistent and the performances were across the board amazing. Ewan McGregor, Rebecca Ferguson and the talented Kyliegh Curran deliver absolute greatness. This film features stunning and intriguing dark moments, but definitely has one of the most disturbing scenes I've ever seen and its all because of Jacob Tremblay's performance in THAT scene.
Tumblr media
Ready or Not: How many times have we seen the family initiation story in a romantic comedy? A dozen times I tell you! Well how about you take the same concept, throw in a fun horror version of hide and seek with a hint of the supernatural and great dark comedic writing. You get this fantastic film that is all of that and more. Luckily I stayed away from any major trailers for this film because in retrospect, the R rated trailer gave away too many of the fun gags. The performance of each family member was awesome and this was a standout performance for Samara Weaving. Every year from now on, this film will be on my Halloween watchlist. I loved this film and I can't recommend it enough.
Tumblr media
Shazam!: Batman (1989), Superman (1978), The Dark Knight Trilogy and Spider-man: Into the Spider-verse are just to name a few of perfect adaptations of a comic book character to screen. This film was beyond perfection in many ways and the best DC film to date. This film had the right amount of fun, darkness and heart that embodies the life of the titular character. I could see the amount of genuine fun the cast was having on screen and the heartfelt performances of Asher Angel and Zachary Levi were outstanding. Jack Dylan Grazer stole the film with his amazing comedic speed and wit. This was truly a film I had high hopes for and it didn't disappoint.
Tumblr media
Avengers: Endgame: How do you start a story in 2008 and bring it to an amazing and satisfying conclusion that wraps up 11 years of storytelling? You have a plan, a clear vision from the very beginning and with that it'll special success. Producer Kevin Feige set out on a journey to bring to life some of the best superheroes and keep them together in a cohesive and long formed narrative to complete a saga that's never been done before. He did it with the best talent behind each film's camera and The Russo Brothers have delivered the most epic film the superhero film genre has ever seen. I have waited my entire life to hear Captain America say "Avengers Assemble!" and I'm so happy I've lived long enough for my dream to come true. This was an emotional journey and end to The Infinity Saga. I really can say so much more about this crowning achievement in storytelling, but I'll keep this summary short.
Tumblr media
Rocketman: It was only a mater of time before we got a biopic about the incomparable music legend Elton John. I was hoping that it would not shy away from his sexuality, addictions and his bright and explosive since of style. Well this film jumped right in and held nothing back and I loved every bit. It was truly a fantastical film that had enough gravity and style. The musical locations illustrate his most important moments in his life and are visually stunning and accurate recreations of his most iconic performances. Taron Egerton was Elton John and I loved that he sang all the music. This was truly a masterpiece.
Tumblr media
1917: World War II films are a dime a dozen, but the World War I films are rare. Sam Mendes is one of the best directors and all of his films take you on a journey through the eyes, mind and soul of a character and he did exactly that in this film. The fact that this film is almost shot completely in one continuous take, gives every moment gravitas and tension as you watch our main character go along and across enemy lines to prevent an ambush. The score was truly haunting by Thomas Newman and my favorite piece from this film was from the flare scene. Such an stunning achievement in filmmaking should not be missed.
Tumblr media
Joker: The clown prince of crime has had many iterations over the past 80 years. The most influential and canonical version of the character came from Frank Miller's The Killing Joke. Heath Ledger's take was iconic and made you scared because of his unpredictability. Joaquin Phoenix has taken the character and given a truly disturbing and authentic performance. As Arthur Fleck, we see through a constantly unraveling psyche, a man become a new and real kind of monster. Not only is this version the most unsettling, but it was beautiful. The cinematography was great and I loved how we got into the mind and heart of the character when he wasn't even speaking. This is a definition of how a person being pushed through horrible conditions can truly become a monster and yet be free. I loved this film and I think it will be studied in many acting classes from here on out.
Tumblr media
Ford v Ferrari: There needs to be more racing films of this caliber! I love racing films that are not just about the cars, but also the drivers and their stories. This film was based on the true friendship between Carol Shelby and Ken Miles and I can't say enough how much attention to detail and heart that was put into every frame. The sound design in this film was crisp and powerful. The performances by both Matt Damon and Christian Bale was truly amazing and they had the best chemistry. Their fight scene was the funniest and most realistic fight I've ever seen between 2 friends. James Mangold is one of my favorite directors because of his focus on characters and story first before the action. This was a love letter to the world of racing and a respectful look at the lives of these pioneers of ingenuity and racing.
Tumblr media
How To Train Your Dragon: The Hidden World: How do you make a perfect trilogy? How do you wrap it up with a satisfying and emotional ending? You focus on the story and stay true to the message and heart you started with in the beginning. You let the character bonds naturally grow and make each adventure a learning experience. This film was a perfect ending to the franchise and I can't stress how much I felt like I was with Hiccup and Toothless on their journey to this conclusion. The performances from the cast were stellar as always and although the villain may not have been as great, he still was a good addition. The visuals were the best and the textures in the scales and sand were out of this world. The score by John Powell truly brought me to tears as I got to say goodbye to my favorite companions. If you ever owned a pet, you known the emotional bond that is forged. This was the ultimate pay off and as a pet owner I saw my dog in Toothless' eyes. I will miss this franchise. If you're not crying by the end of this film then something is wrong with you.
Tumblr media
The Peanut Butter Falcon: There are some independent films that take a risk in going outside of the norm and telling a story that nobody would have ever dreamed. This film was truly something special and I can't tell you how happy I was throughout. This film focuses on an individual with down syndrome whose dream is to become a wrestler and it is something truly inspirational and heartwarming. Zack Gottsagen was truly brilliant and awesome in this film. I loved his journey and his will to keep going. Shia Lebouf delivers an equally powerful performance and his chemistry with Zack was very sweet. This is one of the best films of 2019 and the most important films of the decade.
And here we are ladies and gentlemen! This is the moment you've all been reading toward. This film was an automatic choice for me the moment the end credits rolled. The crowing jewel of 2019 is none other than.....
Tumblr media
Booksmart: I have seen so many high school teen comedies about partying or loosing your virginity before graduation, but never have I seen a film so engaging and focused on the bond of two bestfriends. Their bond was the heart and soul of the film and you couldn't have asked for a better pair of actresses. Beanie Feldstein and Kaitlyn Dever were beyond perfection in every moment of this film and they had me cracking up left and right. Their adventure over the course of one night was truly fun and you are along for the hilarious ride. Billie Lourd nearly stole the whole film out from under them with her surprising and hilarious appearances. The music choices in the film were awesome as well. The comedy in this film was so fresh and from the first 6 minutes of the film you’re locked into these two ladies chemistry. I can't stress enough how much joy this film brought me and for a film to be on my mind for the entire year and to have me constantly recommending it to everyone I know is an achievement of itself. Olivia Wilde has directed a true masterpiece and new definition of a coming of age story. I can't stop gushing about this film so I'll finish off by saying WATCH THIS FILM!
And that is my list of the best films of 2019 and man has it been a great year in film. Lets hope 2020 starts off the decade with a bang! Thanks for reading everyone.

Just a bio of my OC, Avery Decker aka Nightshade in the Marvel Universe/MCU
DISCLAIMER: images are not mine
Tumblr media
NAME: Avery Claire Decker
ALIAS: Nightshade, formerly Cyanide during her time as an assassin for HYDRA
OCCUPATION: musician, private investigator
RELATIVES: William ‘Bill’ Decker(father) (fc: Hugh Jackman), Jane Decker(mother) (fc: Maria Bello)
{until recently, her parents were presumed deceased; Avery’s captors/oppressors had lied to her, telling her that they had killed her parents and would do the same to her. It was just a lie they had fabricated to help keep her in line.}
GENDER: female
SEXUAL ORIENTATION: bisexual with preference towards men
DATE OF BIRTH: September 1, 1989
ZODIAC SUN SIGN: Virgo
CHINESE ZODIAC: Snake
ABILITIES/TALENTS: the ability to produce toxins and secrete toxins from her pores, she also is a fairly talented guitar player and singer, proficient in hand to hand combat
PERSONALITY: modest, meticulous, reliable, practical, intelligent,
tends to be a worrier, can be fussy, can be overcritical and/or harsh at times, perfectionist
History: Avery Claire Decker was born in Melbourne, Australia, the only child of a father who was a career military man and a mother who was a history teacher. For the most part, her life was normal, up until she turned eighteen. When she was eighteen years old, she was diagnosed with a rare type of brain tumor, which she and her parents were told was incurable. Her parents refused to accept it, and, took her to countless other doctors, only for all of them to tell her the same thing, that she could not be cured.
Eventually, she and her parents were approached by HYDRA under the guise of SHIELD, who offered her a cure. Her parents, desperate not to lose their only child, gladly handed her over for “treatment”. But, the cure was not what Avery and her parents were promised. Avery was subjected to a battery of experiments, being injected with countless different chemicals. Eventually, she was cured in the sense that the cancer was gone and she was healthy again, but, her body was changed. She gained the ability to generate poison and secrete it from her pores.
HYDRA realized the extent of her power, and wanted to keep her to use as they pleased. So, they told her that they had killed her parents so she would have no family or home to go back to, and would do the same to her if she ever tried to escape again, or defy their orders in any way. They also told Avery’s parents that she had died, hence the reason they never looked for her. They broke her down by abusing her both physically & emotionally, and put her under their control much like they did to The Winter Soldier. However, unlike the Winter Soldier, they, for the most part, did not use brainwashing and memory wiping to control her. Instead, they would regularly inject her with a drug that induced a state of complicity, causing her to obey all of their orders.
Early on, while they were still fuguring out how much of a drug to use on her, she tried to escape twice, but was caught and beaten almost to death. HYDRA sent her on countless missions, some alongside The Winter Soldier.
Eventually, some time after the events of Project: Insight, the Avengers raided a HYDRA base where Avery happened to be. As the HYDRA operatives fled the base, they left Avery behind. That was where the Avengers found her, scared and alone. She was obviously very wary of strangers after everything she had been through, and, she was hesitant to go with them. But, after much convincing, she finally did, unsure what else to do after being left behind. It took her quite a while to adjust to everything.
Avery is wary of physical contact, both because of all of the physical abuse she suffered at the hands of HYDRA, and because she is insecure about the dangerous nature of her powers. She has the fear of accidentally using them and hurting or killing someone.
CIVIL WAR
Avery tried to keep herself as removed from the conflict as possible. It killed her emotionally to see her family tearing itself apart. She didn't sign the Accords; after being under HYDRA'S control for so many years, she refused to sign a document that would allow others to decide her actions for her.
She did not take a side in the physical conflict, however; she knew that, since she didn't sign, it would mean she would have to fight Tony Stark, who was like a brother to her, and she could never bring herself to do that. She tried to lay low as much as possible, and hope that things would work themselves out one way or another.
INFINITY WAR
During the events of Infinity War, Avery traveled to Wakanda with Steve and the others, and took part in the final battle there.
ENDGAME
I have two different possible verses for Endgame, one where Avery was turned to dust in the snap, and one where she did not.
Verse 1: This is the main verse, where Avery did not turn to dust in Thanos’ snap. Along with the emotional devastation of losing so many friends in the snap, she suffers from an immense amount of guilt that so many good people were lost in the snap while she was spared. She does what she can to get by from day to day. After Hulk uses the gauntlet to bring everyone back, Avery participates in the final battle against Thanos and his army.
Verse 2: Avery is among those who are turned to dust in the snap. After Hulk uses the gauntlet to bring her and everyone else back, she participates in the final battle against Thanos and his army.

Note: Peggy does not survive the snap here.
v: bad at retirement -  verse upon request. Falcon and Winter Soldier spoilers possible! Peggy takes the infinity stones back while Bucky and Sam have their moments with a dying Steve after he was severely injured in the fight with Thanos. When she returns she gets to have one last goodbye with her beloved before losing him for a second time. Peggy “retires” in the hopes that if she plays along she can get Sharon back home since everything she’s tried to get her niece pardoned has been shot down since Peggy didn’t sign the accords. she tries to stay out of every thing, returning to help out with Stark Industries and focuses on being Aunt Peggy since she’s not entirely sure what to do after losing two very important people to her and SHIELD being no more. then John Walker is introduced and there’s no stopping her from joining the fight then. Note: Peggy does survive the snap here.
v: detective not darling -  verse upon request. DC Universe based verse. Peggy is a detective in any of the major cities seen in Batman, Superman/Supergirl, Flash, Green Arrow.
v: captain carter - verse upon request. Currently follows Marvel’s What If canon but after the Captain Carter (2022) run may be mixed with that canon as well.
v: variant - verse upon request. Based solely on that one very small clip that I even somehow missed of someone who looks like Peggy being brought into the TVA. After being labeled as variant, Peggy is turned into a TVA agent.
v: black widow baby - verse upon request. Peggy was taken by Hydra and was turned into a Winter Soldier. After Zola created a partnership with the Red Room, Peggy then went through the Black Widow program and soon became their permanent combat trainer ultimately winding up working alongside Melina Vostokoff. Peggy also participates in the destroying of the Red Room.
v: peggy on the street - verse upon request.  Peggy is an exchange student in DC from England that winds up staying with her cousin Sharon. After school she goes into the police academy and works her way up into being a detective. Her specialty is organized crime. She and her partner, well truly their small squad drive their lieutenant mad but he’s got their back. After a deal gone south, Peggy is partnerless and wanting to get far away from it all so she transfers to New York where despite her best efforts, she winds up sucked back into the organized crime world.
