You hold a finger to your lips. So much for hoping Grim would mind his manners on this trip.

"We've been over this," Silver says, carrying a six or seven bags inside the house. "Malleus will take the first guest room, Lilia and the Prefect will take the second, because it has two beds. Sebek and I are sleeping in the lounge, where there's a dog bed for you."

"I'm no dog!"

"That's not-" Silver sighs, looking to you for help. You have nothing.

Then, there's breath on your neck and a voice in your ear. "Oh, don't look so glum. It'll be a fine bonding experience for you boys!"

You jolt, and Lilia giggles into your ear, the airy, cheerful sound almost as teasing as the prank.

Grim sighs. "I bet Sebek snores like a lawn mower..."

"And you don't?" you mutter, much to Lilia's delight.

"Khee hee. Personally, I'm tickled by this! The Zigvolt family is as welcoming as ever. Oh, Malleus, do you need help with that?"

The smaller fae leaves to hold the door open for Malleus, while Grim repeats "tickled??" in a grumble. Silver sighs again.

"It's been a long journey. We'll all feel better once we've slept,"

"This can't be right,"

You stand in the narrow doorway, overnight bag in hand. The guest room is dark, but you can still feel how small it is. There's no way two people can fit in here.

Lilia peers over your shoulder. "What's- ah. I see,"

Your eyes adjust to the darkness. There's only one. There's only one bed.

"Now, this is unfortunate. Our rooms must have been mixed up. And Malleus has already retired, poor thing..."

You look at him. "What are we going to do?"

"Do? Why, sleep, of course,"

"Where?"

Lilia smiles and pats your head, as if you were an adorable kitty cat rather than a very tired and disgruntled adult after a full day of travel.

"In bed, my dear. Unless you were planning on taking the bath,"

He slips under your arm and into the room, tossing his bag on the floor with no regard or interest for the clothes and trinkets that spill from it.

You follow, putting your own things away as he makes himself comfortable on the bed. "Well?"

"...You can't honestly act as if this is normal,"

Lilia giggles. "What are you so afraid of? I'm not going to eat you,"

You listen, if only a little, sitting at the edge of the bed, as far from him as possible. Why is this making you so nervous?

"I'm just not used to it. That's all,"

Shit excuse. He can tell, too, if that smirk of his is any indication.

"Ah, I see. You think, hope, perhaps? that I'm going to make a move on you, as the kids say,"

Your eyes widen and you stumble over yourself, trying to come up with a rebuttal, an excuse, a lie, anything at all.

His smirk sharpens. Literally- his fangs dig into his lower lip, and he sticks his tongue out at you.

"If you're going to be this tense all night, you won't get any sleep. I'll tell you what-" he says, sitting up. "I will graciously allow you one kiss to sate your curiosity. Doesn't that sound nice?"

Now that's just unfair. "That's- what makes you think I would-!"

You stumble some more, and he drinks in the sight of you, flustered and nervous and oh-so close to him.

Lilia lets you argue with yourself until you're spent.

"...Fine,"

He claps. "Very well. Come here, Prefect,"

You sigh, but cross the bed, anyway, feeling the soft, handmade quilt underhand. You can't believe you're going to do this in Sebek's house, of all places...

You sit before him, far more vulnerable than you would have liked.

"Very good. But you could come a little closer, don't you think?"

Again, you listen. You sit on his lap, straddling his thighs, much to his delight.

"Better," he mumbles, perhaps more to himself than to you, because then his hand is holding the back of your head and his mouth is on yours.

Lilia doesn't give you much, and you know that's his intention. The kiss is much too chaste for him, and much too slow for you, but passion and pace were never a part of the deal.

You let it go.

And with some reluctance, you part from him, warm and jittery. That wasn't enough, and he knows it.

"You look like you have something you want to ask," Lilia says, his fingers brushing over your neck, feeling the beating of your heart in your pulse.

He smirks again, baring his fangs as if warning you of his intent to bite.

It was late, and he had to go to work early again tomorrow. Though, when he mentioned that he was trying to fall asleep after asking me if I am tired, I wanted to help in a way. So, I offered him a massage. Little did I know it wouldn't help him sleep soon at all. We started talking more, and at one point we talked about which parts of my internship I enjoyed, and which I did not. Based on the fact that I am enjoying the designing part, he thought it could be a nice idea to look into jobs in that region. Yes, he was right; I told him about the job that I found interesting; UI/UX designer. I explained it a bit, and he said that the back-end part sounded more like programming. Then, I hesitated for a moment but decided that this is the exact moment to say it. I guess I had been a bit scared. A bit scared he'd find it useless, or out of character, or ... I don't even know. Anyway. Now it was time to spill how I figured that for (a part of) this job, programming might be needed, or a plus. So, that is what I've been learning for the past 2 weeks. He asked what exactly I was learning, so I explained the app and the languages that I was working on. He fairly noted a couple of times that I was getting shy, which, I was. He said I really didn't have to be, asking me to come lay besides him again. "Are you doing it because of me? Or because of the CC thing?", I was happy to assure him that no, I did not learn this for him. He thanked me for telling him about what I've been doing these days. I thanked him that eventho he knows that people aren't using these coding languages, he didn't demotivate me. According to him, it is really good to know the basics. I don't remember the exact order, but I do know he told me I was cute uncountable amount of times, accompanied with many back kisses. Also quite a few "I like you"'s.

"You know, if you want, you can use my desk or we can get you another monitor". I hesitated a bit, being my comfizone self who is afraid the double screen will be so good I'll not want to live without it. He said he can only offer, and I said it'd actually be nice. "Okay, we will look into it tomorrow afternoon then". He also kept his appropriate distance, while showing me his support, by saying that if I had any questions, I knew who to come to. Yeah. If anyone can answer my questions, it's him. Mt smart smart boy.

Anyway. I thanked him for listening and I apologized for keeping him awake for long. He didn't mind it at all. Instead, he was grateful. He went on to touch me. "Hey, boyfriend, have you looked at the clock?". He again, didn't mind. He was awake, and so was I. If I wanted him to stop, he said he would, but I honestly didn't. After he went down on me for a while, I pulled him back up. He kissed my neck and asked me if I was okay. I was, but I felt the time pressure, making it harder for me to reach that point, putting even more pressure on, etc etc. "Oh no. You don't have to feel pressured; all you should do is enjoy. We have all of the time in the world, okay? Take all the time you need. Really, don't feel pressured", he assured me multiple times. I asked for teamwork, which allowed him to softly tell me more loving words, such as saying he liked me, how I was hot, and how I was being a good girl. After I finished, he asked me if he should stop, and that I could say "no" to the question if it felt good. He sucked on the skin of the area between my neck and collarbone as I came for the second time. That was insanely intense. He already thought I did the first time, but now I actually did start crying. He held me, making comforting shushing noices, "go ahead, let it all out. It's okay, you can cry".

A lot of back kisses, sweet words and a tiny bite later, I fell asleep into his arms. Sjeesj, he made me feel SO SO insanely safe and loved. He said all of the right things, and knew exactly what was going through my brain, using that info to calm me down. He owns my heart, and I wouldn't want it any other way. My primary research interests are premodern queer history; medieval and modern historiography; the medieval and early modern world; modern Eastern Europe; Russia and Ukraine; American democracy and global futures.

Substantial published research and experience in academia, so I'm not totally talking out of my ass here.

This is, however, generally not a terribly high-quality blog. You will find lots of cats, art, photography, Tumblr jokes, random reblogs, stupid things that make me laugh, fandom/fanfic (when my muse cooperates, which has not been for a while due to the Horrors), and so forth.

Lots of other writing projects, such as original novels.

I am almost always open to receiving asks. If you have questions about history, politics, etc., I'll do my best to answer, within limits. My bandwidth can run out and it's a lot of work, but I'll try.

I try to make my political posts (for which I suspect many of you have recently arrived) fairly infrequent, except for moments such as now where the zeitgeist is especially stupid and I feel like saying something about it. Etc etc., posting on Tumblr is not activism, so I do try to be balanced.

I like to think I'm pretty chill, welcoming, and easy to get along with. If you're here to do the same, we'll be grand.

Found some more news!

So to make things worse yk the previous Sabra post turns out, there's more than just bringing her in.

Sabra was originally a Mutant, a part of the X-men. Her first appearance was in a comic book called "The incredible hulk" There she was introduced as an Israeli superhero. Now, Marvel, since the Avengers tiemline does not match with the X-men timeline, are bringing her in as a widow. I'm not sure about this since she is Israeli and red room is a Russian organisation but I guess they're gonna connect them somehow. I got my information from Google and I'm pretty sure it won't be that incorrect. You can not tell me Sabra was so important they made her change her entire background info. I'm gonna go check if the Widow part is fr fr or not tomorrow. Its 6 am rn and I don't plan on getting any more riled up. Good night... if I can sleep is it.

no hate to you or the 'socialisation' anon, but i don't think y'all are correct. gender socialisation is not a thing, and is an incredibly reductive way to look at the world. the presence of society's preferred genetalia cannot explain the entirey of how one was treated for their childhood, because that person would have to jump through so many other hoops to truly get the privileges of being a cishet man. society does not raise transfems to have 'toxic masculinity' because it was too busy beating them into submission for not adhering to the gender socially imposed on them. it doesn't matter if they possess penises, because they are doing gender wrong and need to be punished. if a trans woman is speaking over her trans brothers and being stubborn and close-minded, it's not because she's 'mansplaining' to them, as the dynamics of cisnormative gender roles can't carry over to a community of gender deviants. she's just being an asshole.

there is a transandrophobia problem in the online trans community and a lot of it is coming from a certain subset of transfems. but we can talk about them without resorting to blatant terf rhetoric (such as, y'know, contracting trans woman into 'transwoman'. a few trans-positive folks online do it as but paired with the rest of anon's message it doesn't strike me as such.)

thank you for giving me another perspective on this and other talking points! i appreciate you & everyone else who reached out! i'm NOT always right on things and i need to also be told when i make a mistake. i appreciate you so much. i need to be told when i'm wrong, too. thank you for the corrections! i see now where my line of thinking was totally off base! i've unfortunately heard so much of those kinds of things parroted inside of our own community that i adopted it, too, and it's not okay. it's not okay when i adopt a dangerous line of thinking.

Tears burn in his eyes, soak his cheeks. It seems like he’s been here for hours, bound on his stomach and frozen in time under the onslaught of Anselm’s tongue. 

The bed, apparatus Anselm called it, was obviously custom made. Few things Anselm owned weren’t. It was a little like an X-cross, but instead of being mounted to the wall, it was horizontal, with soft robe bindings for whoever was lying on it, encircling wrists, ankles, thighs, and waist. There was also another thick padded beam that started in the middle of the X, providing support for the chest and head. This contained a face hole, like a massage table, but also a large one at Blue’s crotch that meant that he couldn’t even rut against the table for some relief. 

Anselm sat in a very comfortable chair between Blue’s legs, one hand on his bare thigh to pull his ass cheeks wider. He tucked a napkin into his collar before he began, enjoying the theatrics of the moment, and then spanked Blue with a plastic spatula until his skin was the prettiest shade of pink. The same spatula Blue had used to take an extra serving of eggs, straight from the pan while Anselm was cooking. 

“Please!” Blue sobs, his voice broken. 

But Anselm doesn’t stop; he just keeps licking and teasing. Occasionally dipping the tip of his tongue inside, pushing past the tight ring of muscle for just a second before withdrawing. Taunting Blue with the sensation, nearly giving him the full stimulation he needs. But never quite. 

He draws back and dabs his lips with the napkin, then sighs, injecting boredom into his voice despite his wicked smile. “Well, it seems that I am starting to tire. My jaw…” He gently rubs his face despite the fact that Blue is in no position to see.

“Very good.” Anselm pats his bottom and then pinches. 

Blue yelps, but does not complain. 

Slowly, Anselm leans back down, swirling his tongue around the sensitive flesh. The action makes Blue jolt and gasp, his hips grinding weakly as his cock bucks into the air. If he rocks hard enough, his balls lightly tap against the base. God, just a little more, a little more.

Note: Warrant Canaries are of dubious legal value.

A warrant for info can demand "don't change ANYTHING in a way that would indicate this happened." A static statement of "We have not received a warrant for your personal info" may be part of "don't change anything." (Probably. Depends on how much risk the org wants to take. Most companies with a "warrant canary" are not going to take that risk. The OTW might or might not, and certainly would not be discussing it in advance in public spaces.)

However, a weekly newsletter that includes "we have not received any warrants for your info this week" at the bottom - especially if the phrasing changed just a bit from week to week - would be a lot more reliable.

The court order can demand you don't change anything, even if that means some of your publicly viewable info is now false.

They have a lot harder time demanding you directly add fake info; that runs into free speech laws. They can make you not-do something. They can't require you to make statements. If your warrant canary is dynamic - if it's actively posted every week or month or whatever - they'd have a much harder time insisting that you keep posting it after it would be a lie.

If you're part of an org that is concerned about warrants for user data, consider setting up a dynamic warrant canary - a monthly post on Bluesky, a footer to be added to blog posts (added each time, not part of a template) - a statement that someone directly makes to the public, rather than a passive standing announcement.

And talk to a LAWYER who knows your industry and its specific risks before making any actual decisions about that, because I am just Some Rando On The Internet.

A bit of trivia: The "Warrant Canary"

Have you heard the phrase "like a canary in a coal mine"?

Back in the old-timey days, they'd sometimes use small and delicate animals as an early warning system for gasses and such down in the mines: If their canary suddenly died, there was unseen danger and the workers knew they had to get out of there.

Ever notice how the footer on the OTW's website seems oddly long and strangely specific? "The Organization for Transformative Works has not received any National Security Letters or FISA court orders, and we have not been subject to any gag order by a FISA court."

That's the OTW's canary!

If they are ever served with a warrant in this manner to give up information, they're most definitely going to be gagged by the court that ordered it to prevent tipping off the entities being investigated. If this ever happens, that text is no longer accurate, so it will have to be removed from the site's footer.

AKA: If that line ever disappears from the site, the canary has died and there's unseen trouble. It's a way to sound the alarm, even if they're gagged by the courts. Quite a few websites have (or had) one, if you know where to look!

[[ Something I've been thinking about with Neff recently is how much trauma she still actively endures as a spiritually sensitive person vs the trauma she's been working to heal from as just a person existing in this bitch of a world.

Like yeah she has all the resources in the world to figure out which coping skills work best with handling the abuse from her mother and living in a society constantly trying to oppress her as a non-skinny neurodivergent woman of color in the lgbt+ community -

But how the fuck do you deal with seeing the deep subconscious of the human and even non-human psyche? How do you deal with seeing the inevitable destruction of worlds and timelines? How do you deal with feeling so alone between you're so between worlds you don't feel like anyone could ever fully understand you?

How much of that 'normal' world help can you apply that would actually work?

Something that hit me was that if Neff didn't become a Dreamer (and eventually a deity) through Origa, she actually WOULD have been someone that got most of her shit together. If she was just a normal medium/empath/whatever you want to call her that could dream walk she'd be SO much better off mentally.

She gets better from what started it all, but then she gets worse from all the NEW shit happening to her, and the worst thing for her is she knows. She knows it's happening because she has the self awareness to catch onto all the old habits she slips up and returns to and she HATES it. there are a lot of evil people in the world and a lot of darkness in the world and so it’s very important for me to stress that now more than ever is the time to spread kindness and compassion. combat the evil by not only not partaking in it, but actively refuting it. destroy the notion that being compassionate or generous or kind to someone is uncool or embarrassing or even scary. be the change you want to see. start a chain reaction. positivity only breeds more positivity. do an act of kindness for someone so that that person who is too afraid to do it themselves can see you, realize that they’re not alone, and perhaps sheepishly follow your example. and then the next person who is too afraid but sees that person can do the same. when bad news comes out about bad people or horrible atrocities in the world it’s such an easy impulse to despair, and obviously it’s important to feel what you need to feel. grieve. be angry. be sorrowful. be empathetic. but dust off your pants and get up and be a part of a chain reaction that, no matter how small the scale, and spread compassion and love and care. all the reasons why you might not—“it’s hard! it’s scary! people will make fun of me! it’s useless because there’s too much evil!” are all grade A arguments as to why you should. you have no idea how many people you could inspire to do the same. even if it doesn’t get you anyway far, you can at least say you have the nobility of trying. please choose love and please choose life. you are worth loving and you are worth inspiring others to love

Maya Fey: between Mar 23 and Jun 16 (some notes on wonkiness with info from AA6 as well, past me did not know what to do w/ AA5 and AA6's data apparently)

I don't have any other characters in the old document. I will note almost every character has a second range listed if their birth year was changed, bc we only know the canonical birth years of Trucy and Rayfa iirc, so if a character hadn't had their birthday yet, then their age would be listed as a year younger than what their end of year age would be.

The wiki seems to list possible birth years by the age in game assuming it is the characters' end of year age, but like with Rafya, who's birthday is in December, if a character never shows up in late-year cases, we know for certain their birth year. (Phoenix is the only exception, as far as I can tell).

I will also note that past me was not as skilled with the fannish meta analysis as I am now. My skills for collecting, organizing, and analyzing canonical data for fan-theories have significantly improved (and I also know how to use Excel, which is FAR superior when it comes to timeline data analysis), so if you're willing to wait a bit, I am currently reworking these theories and will have updated or confirmed birthdate ranges (with much prettier screenshots of the information in a proper data table) in like, a week's time give or take.

since there's apparently no canon birthday for apollo, i say we as a community have to decide together.

Danny blinked at the small children Ellie was holding the hand of, looking quite proud of herself. The small children- between ten and twelve so somewhere similar to Ellie’s age- who both practically stank of magic and Gods. 

He took a deep breath, pinching the bridge of his nose even as Dan cackled while opening the door more to let them inside. “Alright, what’s your name, kids?”

“B-billy…um, Billy Batson...” “‘m Percy! Percy Jackson.” 

“Nice to meet you two- any idea where in your family you have a god or two, because one of you definitely smells like Zeus and I’m pretty sure Poseidon and I am not dealing with either of my half-brothers.”

Up next, the long-awaited follow-up to Osvald and Partitio's crossed path ! I was really looking forward to this one

Coffee, huh... of course that would be their stances on coffee, I can't imagine Partitio drinking it too bitter, that sweetie

Aww they're using the coffee bit when threatening thugs ! They're such good buddies

And now they're keeping it going as they threaten the loan shark before mugging him, how adorable~

Partitio, my boy, do you not know of the Moon ???

And here comes the ominous night-time that shouldn't possibly be... and the end of the quest. Obviously. I can't get to the juicy bits just yet I guess

Oh well, that's just more of a reason to move on the chapter I kept as the last one : Temenos' fourth (I hope he kicks the evil god's ass or gets closer to doing so)

Oh we doing genocide flashbacks now ? Okay...

Ort I mean to put this in the nicest way possible but maybe you should've doubted your boss before she reached the spooky cave and started being nefarious about it

Kaldena has the same kind of shadow energy as Harvey... evil.

But her boss sprite ? Oh her boss sprite is looking fine~

And it even gets better... Kaldena of the Night is a banger design (the sprite work in this game gets me every time)

That fight was over quickly... but that's just the Osvald nuke setup for ya, he's allowed all the spotlight he wants <3

I found and did Ort's next chapter pretty quickly after that and the bit about the lost hair ornament bugs me so much, wasn't Mindt just shown to have lost hers ?? How involved is she actually ? And why do I not get any extra info about anything extra suspicious lately...

Oh well, fine, game, Laila's next chapter it is then

Hermes sure loves her fishies, but I wish she would've just kicked this guy's ass then and there... a girl can dream

As for Veronica's next chapter, I found the right npc at last after trying my luck with every Dolcinaea-related location (it didn't really take all that long)

I can still see the scene after that and picture the metaphorical game looking me in the eye telling me Veronica and Dolcinaea should kiss (screenshots were taken)

Anyway, time for the Throné and Temenos follow-up !

That's looking like a new murder myster- oh Alpates is the victim, so much for asking her about last time

I love how Temenos won't knock the guard out himself but completely endorse Throné doing it (and stealing from dead bodies but that's the gameplay integration for ya)

Onward to the mysterious cave of time shenanigans !

Oh shit is getting real detective mode is back ON !!

I love how Throné casually welcomes Temenos back from detective mode, she's so chill about it

So the treasure is the full mirror... and something about those who hope for the dawn... what were you hiding Alpates...

And that's the ominous cutoff point, obviously

Guess I'll try and finish every last side story before seeing what that "Extra story" is all about, it sounds like a grand finale to me

I found a next chapter for Shirlutto, who I definitely hadn't completely forgot the name of, and he wanted a bunch of stuff I had from my inventory (because I am a nosy player who can and will investigate everything !)

Oh that was the story for the guard in Lostseed !

And that's baby's first desire for revenge, I guess ?

Not gonna lie, that wasn't my favourite quest, the beastling speech patterns got to me pretty quick and they're not my jam

Alpione's next chapter had a fun twist on the hunter premise, she got to do something good for the creature this time around

For Mikka's next chapter, let me see... we have more Benkei being here and a good bean, and Mikka and Pala flirting. A lot. I can almost hear the metaphorical game breathing down my neck and whispering "gay gay homosexual gay" and yuri-ing away or something

Since I was around, I also got to finishing the tower (I had found and started it previously, up to the third floor) thanks to the wondrous Osvald nuke team

And lo and behold ! A final support class ! I first gave it to Partitio since I had him on hand and he had the JP for those juicy support skills (in this household we love a Partitio with plenty of SP and skills that half its consumption are good) but then decided to give it to Castti to consolidate her supporting capabilities (and she looks cute in it) (and I really like cleric Partitio as a versatile support that can heal a solid amount)

While going about my sidequest log I got back to the one for stage actors in Tropu'hopu and coerced the guy to see if I got more info on what he wanted, and let's just say that "Temenos the Diviner" entertained me a fair bit

But since I had a save right before it and Osvald to try and mug the guy, I reloaded the save and let's just say that I didn't know I needed "Osvald the Thieving Gentlemage" until it was right before me

I'm curious as to what skits happen for Hikari and Ochette, but I think I'll look that up eventually, as a treat

And with that, my quest backlog was done... except for a teeny tiny insignificant one in the spooky island with the gates to a cryptic name and the (dying ? or just in really bad shape ?) guy who wanted to translate the book "From the Far Reaches of Hell", so definitely nothing important that I should devote lots of attention to...

Instead I scavenged for more cleric, scholar and apothecary licenses and I'm not afraid to say that the manor ruins being completely silent started stressing me out at some point while hunting for the big deers

And with the 100-hours mark approaching, I knew what I wanted to do : prepare my endgame teams for the true final stretch !

After lots of thinking on synergies and break coverage, I decided on splitting up the party with thief Agnea, cleric Partitio, conjurer Castti and arcanist Osvald for the magical nuke setup with good physical damage from Agnea on top, and inventor Ochette, merchant Throné, scholar Temenos and armsmaster Hikari for a more physically-oriented team with disguised Throné to double up on scholars if need be and extra versatility out of the learned skills/monsters

I got through a lot of equipment management to come up with builds I liked but I am pretty proud of myself for coming up with these

Of course, this has nothing to do with the sidequest boss from hell that requires to split the travelers in two teams and certainly not the fact that it wiped the floor with me when I showed up unprepared

Anyway, up next should be the final chapter, although I don't know what to expect !

Octopath Traveler II delayed playthrough blogging

Contains light spoilers of some early chapters I guess

I started the journey with Agnea because she looked like a sweetie (and she is) and she really has the most jrpg "leave of this small village to see the big wide world to make your dream come true" beginning

I got her to allure a villager that replenishes SP with every dancer skill she uses and she's been the cornerstone to most battles ever since

The second traveler I got was Partitio and he's a funny lad, I love his vibe, hat, jacket, and speech ! Also, the atmosphere of his storyline was a nice dramatic change of pace after the cozy first one I got

I headcanon that Roque's betrayal was in fact very much a divorce with Partitio's dad and I cannot wait to see how that applies to future chapters (I do hope it ages like fine wine rather than milk)

Partitio's combat performance was pretty solid despite a lack of AoE but the weapon variety for breaking was the early highlight

I ignored the fork in the road that lead to Hikari in favor of recruiting Castti because I wanted a healer and I feel slightly guilty (but also not at all)

Castti is literally so nice to people I can't wait to see if she really has an extremely shady past that will torment her for at least 1 chapter before she decides that she's going to be a good noddle in spite of all

Her concocting is pretty fun but I wish I had more diffusing serum (I can make do with latent power for now but it'd more fun to let her do some fun nuking)

Castti is also extremely tanky (she's the only one I have with over 1k HP so far) so she was a very welcome addition to the party

The next step in the journey was recruiting Osvald (I wanted to start with him but the 2 forced chapters made me decide to instead make him the reward for reaching the eastern continent) after I ignored the boat that lead to Ochette and wandered around until I stumbled upon a boat that lead really close to Osvald on the map and eventually found him face-down in the snow (which makes my decision to no start with him even better)

His first two chapters cemented him as one of my favorites beyond the visual vibes I got from the first selecting menu, and his skillset was a cherry on top

AoE magic nuking when I already have some buffing and BP donating in my party ? I'm sold. Free weakpoint reveals every battle ? Even better ! Osvaldo battle voicelines ? Yes please !

After that I found the scholar license and decided that Agnea should also learn to buff spell intensity to make my Osvaldo nuking engine even stronger (she's been doing great and I'm very proud of her)

Since it was on the way to Agnea's second chapter for which she was at the recommended level, I went on to recruit Temenos and he did not disappoint ! He really gave me an impression of being a seemingly upstanding fellow who is in fact not only shady but just the right blend of ambiguous tease with genuine words thrown in (props to his voice acting that really sells it)

His detective moment was also pretty cool, especially after seeing the duality of his abilities to get people to follow him without risk of failure and his (very shady) coercing to get more intel

I considered replacing Castti with him as my party healer but he is very squishy compared to her, and she also has weapon diversity and more consistent debuffing over him so for the time being he's just chilling at the tavern waiting for a party composition that makes him shine

On my way to the big city I found the inventor license and could simply not resist giving it to Partitio it simply fit him too well (and more weapons to break with is very nice), although I'm thinking of changing it later to try a Temenos build that would allow him to break even more and coerce better

Now onto the big city to recruit Throné and let Agnea's story unfold further !
