Anyway yeah!

Etho pet regresses to a fox kit (which is kinda interesting seeing as I hc him an arctic fox hybrid) I don't think he'd need much in terms of care most days, maybe someone to watch him while he runs around regressed.

He's pretty self sufficient for a fox, but it's always nice to have someone watch you just in case. So whenever he wants to/is regressed he'll go find a Hermit he trusts and kinda just scamper around their area while they work.

He's mostly nonverbal except for the yips and squeaks he makes as a way to communicate. He sleeps a lot too, esp during the day. Most times the Hermit watching him will find him curled into a ball under a tree or some other dark nook he's managed to find. Etho says it's comfy but no one believes him except maybe Doc.

He also has a habit of just putting things in his mouth while regressed. He literally just shoves whatever will fit in there and noms happily on it until a.) Someone takes it from him or b.) It breaks. He'll also put things of high value (totems, gapples, diamonds, etc.) in his mouth and run away w it. He thinks of it as a game. Sometimes he wins and gets to keep the thing. This is why he's not allowed in the shopping district while regressed.

His favorite Hermits to regress around are Beef, Doc, Xisuma, and sometimes Zed when no one else is online. Joel was cool during Double Life, he'd chase Etho till they were both sore and pet the good spot behind his ears. Iskall - while he didn't see them often - was pretty good too. They'd be on the list if they ever log back on the server. Iskall would nap with him under the acacia trees and build dens (pillow forts) for Etho to nap in. They'd also swap whatever Etho had jammed into his mouth with something he could actually chew on.

BDubs is also great to have playdates with :)

My original tumblr blog was dedicated to glee and eventually to manga/anime/comics and then I dipped for a bit and came back to tumblr blah blah blah glee was the start of my tumblr experience but also was the first time I ever actively engaged in a ship war (Which was STUPID i was so STUPID) like before I was a lurker but glee was the first show I openly participated in fandom 

and it’s a dumb show, it’s a bad show, it has some shining moments but lordly it was a mess and I was so invested in Britanna and Klaine at the beginning but by the end I was like they should NOT be together and honestly proud of myself for that it showed ~growth~ I also dropped the show idk mid-s4? Glee was the show that made me learn to drop things and not get caught up in sunk cost fallacy, if you’re not happy watching something, drop it.

okay here’s what y’all came here to see lmao Kinnporsche really grabbed my ass and slapped it like wtf I wasn’t expecting to get so invested in this show tbh b/c like I started watching BLs again but the ones I had watched from Thailand hadn’t GRABBED me they all ranged at the time from okay but wouldn’t watch again (Until We Meet Again, 1000 Stars) to boring-dropped it (Fish Upon a Sky, 2gether, Lovely Writer) the ones I had liked were mostly Korean and Taiwanese offerings (HiStory Trapped, Love is Science, We Best Love (seasons 1 AND 2 fight me), Be Loved: In House, You Make Me Dance, the one Korean assassin one). 

So like, I saw the trailer for KP and was like, oh that looks different and interesting from other Thai BL and then I saw it was canceled and was confuse. Then I saw it was un-cancelled and was MORE confused I was like is this show coming out or nah? But it was and I was like, sure why not? And I had just restarted using tumblr again and then the show started and the first episode HIT SO HARD and I was like “omg actual cinematography, actual camera framing, actual directing, actual locations, actual physical movement of the cast and the story, a larger story at play, COSTUMES” bitch I was hooked and I’m probably bias but KP is still the best conceptually executed Thai BL imo like sometimes I see posts about the cinematography of other Thai BL and it’s just pictures of two chars standing in a mid-lit room and I’m just like, god I’m a snobby ass bitch lemme leave lol 

KP isn’t perfect, there are issues with the plot at times, but like, there’s issues with the plot! Not the sound (rip LITA I still love you), or the lighting, or the editing, or the direction. The secondary cast actually feels like a cast rather than extras to fill out the cast or pad for time there’s like next to no filler in the show which is such a rarity (imo) for Thai BL. 

Love Between Devil and Fairy 

To me this show was peak fantasy epic romance I just love it to pieces, the costumes are to die for I wish America made more epic romances like this that really embrace fantasy, romance, and action one thing I really love about C-Dramas is they embrace romance with a certain sincerity that is missing from American dramas and I think it’s a shame

if nothing else, lex prides himself on being an exemplary inmate: he's considerate and timely and he doesn't cause trouble. the guards allow him to exercise, to read in peace (though it's one book a week and the quality varies; the hunger games was his latest fair and honestly couldn't tell you what the fuss was about). they even engage in conversation when the mood strikes.

but one thing is new and can cause a bit of whispering -- his recent visitor. she's been consistent and the chessboard is always set before he arrives. they've established some sort of detente. they don't touch too sensitive topics, leaving a still sort of peace between them for the time being.

Now with a slightly pissed off Avian is hunting the reader for real as they run for dear life. Safe noms of course maybe tom gets a time out too lol.

Bird Brain

Warning: soft and safe vore, some fear,

You were running from a giant bird man as fast as you could. But, surprisingly, it wasn’t for your life.

“Eat my dust, old man!” You yelled over your shoulder, cackling as you leapt over a log.

Phil squawked indignantly. “I’m not old, you little shit!” His jet black wings fluttered as he sped up.

You felt the vibrations and spared a glance over your shoulder. There was something in Phil’s eyes, something in his gait and the way his mouth twisted, that terrified you. He seemed too focused, too hungry. With a yelp you tried to speed up and immediately tripped. Strong fingers seized you and brought you up to the man’s face.

Your heart was either pumping too fast or not at all. Either way, you couldn’t feel it.

An almost feral look burned in his bright blue eyes. After a few puffs of breath, his jaws parted and you were set inside. You yelped and squirmed around, which only seemed to tighten his grip around you. Hopefully he’d snap out of his hungry haze long enough to store you in his crop instead of the actual stomach. That would definitely be bad.

He dragged your small body across the roof of his mouth, making a sort of trilling noise, before tipping his head back and easily swallowing you down.

“P-Phil?” You squeaked as you fell into a hollow organ. You pulled your knees up to your chest.

“I may have gotten a little carried away there. Sorry mate. Hope you don’t mind staying there for a bit.”

You huffed, but patted one of the muscular walls. “Yeah. I guess.”

For Your Consideration, Part 1

This year all of my work aside from the secret gifting events was centered around A Monthly Rumbelling, which put out 5 fics a month for 12 months in a row. As I wrote this series I had a plan: to create a Choose Your Own Adventure series using the individual stand alone works from that 60 fic library. So far I have created two fics in the Rumbelle Me A Story series, but there are several more to come.

I would be honored if any of my writing was to be nominated, but my pride and joy for the year is the Rumbelle Me A Story series and in that series, the fic titled Those We Leave Behind. I would be grateful if readers would consider them for a TEA award this year.

The fact that after traveling all day i log online to see sgt porkchop spewing bullshit about how the game should be made different that 1) is dumb as hell 2) has been done already and 3) wouldn't accomplish what he wants to accomplish anyway is just so infuriating.

But yeah anyways it's dumb as hell to have everyone compete for the veto, it removes any strategy, just watch survivor if you want individual immunity challenges; and its equally dumb as hell to allow each hg to pick their veto pick because they broke it in season 5- you nom two allies and then pick only allies to compete. You completely remove the risk/reward to backdooring.

And I'm assuming his panties are ina twist because he wants DX here and for a cookout member to leave but if the noms were allowed to pick for veto each time Claire wouldn't have picked DX for veto because Claire wouldn't have been up in the first place. SB would have nommed the jokers, had them pick the kings for veto, shed pick Ky, and DX is automatically backdoored without even the chance to be drawn.

And for anyone reading this who is also sad that DX is likely leaving, I know. It sucks. I'm sad too. This one was always gonna hurt the most. But it is fair. He has just as many opportunities as everyone else does and while it hurts to see him go the concept of the backdoor isn't what's sealing his fate. Being backdoored and sitting next to Claire, the mediocre queen who hasn't won shit, or X, a better competitor then D*rrick L could dream of being, is what is.

And D*rrick still doesn't know shit about the game he ruined and I'll never forgive him for that.

So. I haven't updated about my game in two weeks. That's cause, while animating the sprites I encountered a glitch I was stuck on for literally a week and a half. I can't even call it a glitch cause the code itself was fine it's just my dumbass got my left and rights mixed up when naming the animations.

....

A week and a half of tweeking code ... Pointlessly. INCREDIBLE.

Anyway I'm thinking weekly updates is probably too often. I'll probably settle on bi-weekly or monthly updates, depending on progress.

garden log #1

idk how often ill do these, probably every couple days or once a week. as it gets later there’ll be less to share so they’ll be less often. but also i love my garden so much i just wanna talk about it

the garden got started REALLY late. we didn’t know we’d even be able to do one until our neighbour cut down a tree that had been blocking our light. we only started planting in april so we’re very late to the game and p limited this year. we had a few seeds we’ve been trying to grow since mid-march but only half of them have sprouted so far. my mom and i made the garden so we have a mix of types of foods between us.

rn i have:

4 jalapeños (3 from the same organic farm, one of the “mucha nacho” variety just to see). none of my seeds sprouted so i bought the four seedlings this past weekend. they all have small buds or flowers on them which is exciting!

1 hungarian hotwax pepper (about twice as hot as jalapeño on average). this is another seedling i got over the weekend and it already has small peppers on it!

1 habanero, 1 shishito, and 1 bell pepper. bought them as seedlings in the first week of april. The plants are doing well but not growing anything new.

5 chives. 1 i grew from a seed, and four seedlings that are quite prolific. i LOVE chives and don’t like bland dried/frozen chives so i’m so excited to have fresh ones just available! idk how prolific chives are yet so idk if i have nearly enough but i can set up a lot more next year. i had a lot more seeds but they never sprouted.

1 oregeno and 2 basils. i got them as seedlings in early april and they have been very happy so far. the oregeno has been spreading out and getting bigger so im excited to see how it goes. one basil is green and one is purple. the purple seems to be growing a bit more than the green but they’re both happy!

1 lemongrass: got it as a seedling the first week of april and it has been growing very well. i was worried it wouldn’t get enough sun but it seems very happy.

1 lavender. i got this in the middle of march and had been keeping it in a pot until the garden started. its in its own area near the patio to get enough sun. its been growing a lot and just started to flower today!!

1 each of thyme, sage, and camomile. i got these at the same time as lavender (from a university gardening event) and have them planted on the side of the house because they predate the garden. everything is doing great except the camomile which has been getting increasingly straggly - i’m not expecting it to last much longer.

1 goji berry. i just got this over the weekend and plan to plant it tomorrow. its not going in the regular garden because they typically range 3-6 feet and i don’t want it overtaking. i’ll be planting it on the side of the house but we’ll see how it does because the dogs can get it there :/

4 marigolds. bought these as seedlings to help with pests this weekend because something has been nomming on my haberno’s leaves. i’ve planted them in a grid around the garden, tho really i need a couple more to provide the garden with cover, hopefully they’ll still help a bit.

1 watermelon: this is part of the mom-exclusive side of the garden (as are all the things below here on the list). got it in my april seedling hall. its been doing okay but not growing.

1 vine spinach: i got this as a trimming at the university gardening event in mid-march. my mom just had it in a cup of water until the garden started, and at first it really suffered from transplanting but we started absolutely drowning it and its been growing ever since.

4 squash (butternut, zuchini, scallop): 2 of them are doing great and have flowered multiple times (with the flowers withering come evening) and the other two are barely hanging on. not really sure why bit i dont eat squash so im not bothered.

2 bush beans. 1 seedling and 1 seed that just sprouted unexpectedly! my mom had a lot more seeds but none sprouted.

1 tomato, 1 okra: just got these seedlings over the weekend and plan to plant them tomorrow morning.

4 sugar ann peas: all started as seeds and have been growing as little sprouts for a bit now! a new one came up at the end of last week, which was exciting because we were sure it wasn’t going to.

this morning we were pushing against my french final so we didn’t have a lot of time to work. we got the jalepenos, chives, and two marigolds planted, but the other new seedlings we’ll be planting tomorrow morning. We also have to dig up a chunk of the monkey grass remaining in the garden area from before we fenced it off in order to finish planting our new seedlings. On wednesday morning i have another final but we’ll try to get up all the remaining monkey grass, plant that last marigold, and spread out the cedar mulch we got this weekend to protect the soil in the garden, retain moisture, and naturally prevent pests.

on tuesday and wednesday we’ll also be transplanting the monkey grass over next to the house in some beds that have been barren for a few years.

this first post was really long but from now on i’ll just been talking about changes/updates to plants and new growths, so they’ll be much shorter! i didnt actually have a list of everything in my garden yet so this was very helpful. im also really proud to share the small little accomplishments ive gotten from the garden like my lavender flowering
