Be Careful!

Summary: You get a new piercing and the guys find out and maybe they worry a little too much!

This was a request!: 'Hello! Could you possible do a romantic Jegulus x reader who's obsessed with getting piercings and maybe the boys are freaked about watching her get one or keep accidentally hitting her new piercing and hurting them?' I think I changed the idea a bit but I hope you like it, anon!

Piercings were nothing new to you, you'd had a few done over the years, mostly in your ears, you thought they were cute and you had a million earrings that you swapped out over the days.

But most of these piercings you had made before you started dating James and Regulus, so they never saw when you made them or the days that followed.

James absolutely adored them, when you cuddled he would watch and play with them, Regulus loved them too, sometimes he had even given you some earrings in the shape of a star or with thin chains as a gift.

That day you decided that you wanted to try another kind of piercing, not one on your ears, you thought about one on your lip or maybe your nose, but you didn't know how much the teachers at school would like it so you preferred not to risk it.

After a while of thinking you finally decided and hours later you had your piercing, it was one in the belly button, it wasn't painful and they told you it would heal fast, which reassured you.

You didn't tell anyone that you were getting it done, not thinking it would be important, besides you thought of giving James and Regulus a little surprise.

But that day you didn't have time to say anything, James was stuck practicing on the Quidditch pitch and Regulus had to tutor a third year boy.

You didn't think much of it, you waited until they were both free to tell them.

That moment came relatively quickly, because the next day after breakfast James invited you to Hogsmaede, he said he had already told Regulus so the three of you would meet there.

It didn't take you long to get ready, putting on a skirt and a not too tight white blouse, you didn't want your clothes to be rubbing against the piercing and cause you pain.

When you arrived at Hogsmaede you could almost instantly spot James and Regulus, who were sitting on a bench in front of a Honeydukes.

Regulus didn't take long to notice you, smiling slightly, his eyes sparkling at the sight of you.

James followed after, smiling broadly and standing up, walking over to you and wrapping his arms around you.

“Hi love” Jmaes said sweetly, leaving a kiss on your forehead and wrapping his arms around your waist.

You smiled instantly, wrapping your arms around his neck and sinking into his arms, for a moment you forgot about your piercing, but quickly remembered it, as you felt a twinge of pain the moment your body touched James'.

“Ouch!” you couldn't help but let out a low gasp of pain as you felt the contact, instantly James pulled away, his brow furrowing with concern, in a second Regulus was already at his side, looking at you with the same concern.

“What happened? Did I hurt you?” James asked instantly, looking you over from head to foot for any sign of discomfort or harm, James thought maybe he had hugged you too tightly or had been too rough.

“No, no, I'm fine” You said instantly, giving him a reassuring little smile. “It's just that I accidentally crushed my piercing when we hugged” You said with some amusement, but only earned a confused look from both boys.

“Piercing?” Regulus asked with confusion, looking at your ears in search of a new piercing, but his brow furrowed as he didn't notice any new ones, he knew your piercings by memory so he would have noticed if there was a new one.

You couldn't help the slight chuckle you let out when you saw their confused faces, but you simply nodded.

“Mhm” You mumbled, lifting your white blouse very slightly so they could see your belly button, which had an earring that was silver and had a pretty light blue gem.

Both boys' eyes instantly widened, staring at the piercing in your belly button.

They were both silent for a moment, just watching it, they were totally shocked.

“Why didn't you tell us you were getting a new piercing?” Regulus said abruptly, his brow slightly furrowed and his voice sounding more serious than he intended.

Your brow furrowed instantly, watching him with some annoyance, did you have to tell them when you wanted to do something to your body?

“Why would I have to tell you?” You said with confusion and harshness, though your tone didn't sound entirely annoyed.

Regulus' face changed to one of confusion, he now understood that the question had sounded very bad and his tone of voice hadn't helped.

James noticed the tension instantly and quickly interjected.

“He didn't mean it like that!” James said instantly with some concern, making a denial sign with his hands, to which Regulus nodded instantly, his face paling slightly now he realized that you had definitely taken his question the wrong way.

“I meant why didn't you tell us so we could go with you or at least know so we wouldn't hurt you, like now” Regulus explained calmly.

Your face instantly relaxed, now you understood everything better.

“It was something out of the blue, I just wanted to do it and I didn't have time to tell you, I thought it would be a surprise” You said calmly, your face slightly embarrassed by the way you had reacted earlier.

“It suits you” Regulus said, tilting his head sideways and smiling slightly.

You could only smile brightly, feeling your cheeks flush red.

James next to him smiled too, but for a moment his face turned worried, now that he knew you had a piercing he felt bad for hugging you so tightly.

“I didn't hurt you, did I? God, I hugged you so hard didn't I? I'm sorry, if I had known-” James quickly began to say, repeating over and over again how sorry he was that he hurt you.

You couldn't help the giggle that came out of you at seeing him so worried, your hand went to his cheek, instantly silencing him.

“I'm fine, James, it was just a light brush, you didn't hurt me, okay?” you said softly, lightly caressing his cheek and leaving a kiss on his mouth.

“Are you sure?” James asked with a little pout, still worried that he might have caused you some pain.

“Mhm, but maybe a kiss would make me feel better” You said with a small amused smile, looking at his lips for a moment.

You didn't have to tell James twice, in a second his lips were on yours, leaving a soft kiss, his hands were on your waist, making sure to keep distance between both bodies, he didn't want to make the same mistake twice.

Regulus next to you just watched the two of you with affection, a small smile on his face at how careful and sweet James was.

“God forbid yn decides to get a lip piercing because that will be the end of you” Regulus muttered towards James with amusement when you and James finally broke away from the kiss.

James couldn't help but laugh, even though he himself knew that would be the end of him, the boy couldn't go a day without even giving you a kiss.

You instantly laughed, then moved closer to Regulus, cupping his cheek and leaving a kiss on his lips.

“Don't even mention it because I know you would suffer the same” You said with amusement, to which Regulus' cheeks turned pink, although he tried to hide it immediately, rolling his eyes.

The next few days were torture for both of them, James barely hugged you for fear of hurting you, but Regulus had found ways to stay glued to you, he spent most of the time holding your hand, or sitting you on his lap with his hands on your legs and not on your stomach.

James spent most of the time on top of you, watching you not to hurt yourself, you had tried to tell him that it wasn't necessary, that it wasn't even painful and he didn't have to worry so much.

But simply said, James didn't give a shit.

James spent all his time with you, walking in front of you in the corridors so that no one would accidentally hit you, always making sure that the clothes you wore weren't too tight so that you wouldn't hurt your piercing.

Regulus was a bit more reasonable, the boy asked you to let him take care of your piercing, to which you said yes, it was one less load and Regulus was very delicate.

Every day, when you woke up and before you went to sleep Regulus would clean your piercing, using soap and water with a wet washcloth, being careful not to hurt you, the black-haired boy would take his time and James would stand by and watch him the whole time, muttering a “Be careful, Reg” every now and then, to which Regulus would just roll his eyes, saying he was being careful.

The next few weeks it was like this, even though their concern was extreme for something so insignificant, you were grateful to both of them, because you were able to spend more time with them and enjoyed their care.

Although probably after a few weeks, you had started to get sick of the phrase "Be careful!"

as soon as he was out of the car, he was running towards you. you had made your way to the barriers with the team and his mum, but he ignored them all as soon as he spotted you. his arms were around you in a tight hug and your head almost took a hit against his helmet with the speed in which he pulled you in.

but it didn’t matter. nothing mattered but him and the fact that he was a formula one winner. your winner.

a hundred cameras were probably pointed towards you, filming the first public display of affection he had ever shown, but it didn’t matter either. all you cool think was oscar, oscar, oscar.

it was weird how important he was to you. how intertwined the two of you were. you weren’t even looking for someone when you met him, yet here you were. you were so close to packing it up, but then he happened. he turned your whole world upside down, but you wouldn’t have it any other way. he was all that mattered. oscar, oscar, oscar.

F1gossip Y/n y/l/n was seen numerous times going to Long pond studios (the music studio where a lot of artists like Taylor swift record their music). The driver has showed before that she has a talent for music. She showed that with the covers of popular songs that she posted in her YouTube. Is she there to make music herself? Eddie was thirteen, he thinks, the first time he felt the little tug in the base of his spine. In the middle of the night, the living room floor had been littered with sketches and calculations in Eddie’s messy handwriting. He'd pulled his dad down to sit next to him and explained, boldly and proudly, how his design worked. A miniature replica of the oil pumpjacks Ramon worked with in the field, it was sure to earn a gold ribbon at his upcoming science fair, and his dad's approval to boot.

But his dad's eyes had glazed over, a little, and he'd run his finger over the design before saying, "Eddie - son, well -" and he'd exhaled, long and deep. "I'm sure a regular lever and pulley would do just fine."

And there it was, the little tug. No, it said. You're wrong. I'm pretty sure you're wrong. I want to try it my way.

Eddie had heard that little tug out all the way to California. Come on, it said, and Eddie packed a suitcase and his son and drove until he saw the ocean. This way, it whispered, and Eddie applied to the fire academy. Quickly, it insisted, and Eddie followed it 40 feet under and then back up to his family. The tug led him into danger, but it also led him out. Sometimes, Eddie thinks, it's the only thing that's been able to keep his heart beating this long. It sounds like dumb luck - but it feels like something else.

Things don't go well when Eddie ignores the tug. He hates thinking about it. Careful, it says, and when Eddie doesn't listen, the dark circles around his eyes match his uniform at Metro Dispatch. Hey, it warns, but Eddie tells it to shut up and then he's sitting in his truck in Bobby's driveway with the words "hundred something bodies" ringing in his ears. His eyes look wild in the rearviews. Eddie, it snaps, but he tunes it out and clasps Buck's shoulder and tells him to call Tommy. It doesn't make the twist in his gut go away.

Eddie sits on the cold hardwood floor of his barren living room and signs the last few papers to solidify the move on a zoom call. The base of his spine is numb. If he was paying attention, he's sure that would hold true for the rest of him, too. He hasn't felt a tug in months. All he can hear is static.

"I'll, um, see you later," he tells Buck when he collects his key. He feels nothing but hollow. Bobby raises his eyebrow, sitting across his desk in his office with resignation papers in hand, and Eddie goes see-through. Hen and Chim corner him in the locker room and Eddie’s eyes glaze over.

He drives to El Paso in silence, knocks on his parents' door in the middle of the night. "I'm sorry," he tells them, and it feels flat and rehearsed even though he’s pretty sure he hasn't said that to them since Shannon passed. They exchange a long look, and all Eddie can think is Chris is behind that door. Chris is right behind that door. "I'm sorry, you were right." They let him through.

Eddie sits at the dining table in a house he swore he'd never return to. "Chris is asleep, of course," his mom tells him, a little miffed. She leaves him with a cold glass of water and a pillow for the couch. He gives her a tight smile and tries not to think about the morning.

He's swaying on his feet, about to pass out when his eye catches on something shoved to the back of the bookshelf. Coated in a thick layer of dust, it's almost unrecognizable in the darkness, but Eddie thinks he would know it anywhere: a gold ribbon from a science fair in 2005.

Eddie, he feels, from the base of his spine. Eddie, Eddie, Eddie.

Word Count: 84,596 Summary: When things don’t go according to plan, Hannibal makes a wish. He finds himself a year-and-a-half in the past and seemingly given another chance with Will. His feelings about the situation only get more complicated when he realizes he may not have completely lost access to his old timeline after all. A Digestivo canon divergence.

If you follow me, you probably saw me already raving about this fic. This was so fucking good, holy fucking shit. And also heartbreaking. Made me think a lot about the nature of reality and what does it mean for something to be "real." Plus, I really love fics that explore their shared mind palace because I genuinely think that is one of the more underexplored aspects of their relationship. Definitely heavy on the angst, but there is a happy ending!

Word Count: 82,427 Summary: Hannibal solves the mystery of time travel and he and Will decide to go into the past and take opportunities previously missed along with rewriting the regrets they each hold. Changing the past does not effect the future and they have free reign to play as the please.

GIVE ME MORE THAN FIVE STARS PLEASE. I am obsessed with this fic. I've mostly stayed clear of time travel fics (aside from, you know, the one right above this) because the execution can be hit or miss, but let me fucking tell you. This was a god damn home run. There's a little bit of angst, but then there's also a chapter where Will challenges Hannibal that he wouldn't have been able to seduce him while Will was still working in Louisiana fixing boat motors. And obviously Hannibal decides to take that challenge.

Railroad Romance by OneWhoSitsWithTurtles

Word Count: 12,400 Summary: Hannibal is still Hannibal, and Will is still Will. Except Will is not part of the FBI and they meet on a two day train trip from New Orleans to Baltimore.

Dirty. Talk. In. FRENCH. Holy shit. Okay this was excellent. EXCELLENT. Perfect characterizations, and wonderful dialogue. Wow. Also, I love trains. Who doesn't love trains?

Word Count: 130,185 Summary: If Will and Hannibal hadn't gone into their respective careers, they would have become porn stars.

I had my doubts about a pornstar AU, but I've really enjoyed everything else by this author and it was over 100k, so I gave it a shot! And WOW. The characterizations of both Will and Hannibal were spot on and believable. A good mix of fluff and angst, and the author clearly put a lot of thought into the porn scenes. Tbh I'm probably going to reread this shortly.

It was after the third body drop a week ago that it became clear that Will had a secret that somehow involved the case, one he wasn’t willing to share yet, not even with Hannibal. At 6:43 AM, Will had texted Hannibal that a fourth body had been found and that he was on his way to the scene with Jack. At 8:06 PM, Will had stepped into Hannibal’s office, thirty-six minutes past his appointment time, and practically shouted “I used to be a stripper!” as loudly as his hoarse voice would allow him to. Hannibal Lecter, though not phased by much in life, has never been entirely able to predict Will Graham, but this is just… getting out of control. Alternatively, the FBI is hunting a serial killer targeting male strippers, and Will decides to throw himself into the fray. Hannibal is beyond pleased.

An AU where Will was a stripper in college and now he's working a case where he can be live bait as a stripper? Shut the fuck up. Mostly told from Hannibal's perspective, and it's just *chefs kiss*. Who knew Will giving Hannibal a lap dance would be so HOT. (I could have guessed.)

Lessons In Submission by wyldefire

Word Count: 5,173 Summary: Hannibal was stubborn, independent, and Will had always loved that about him, but there were times, times like these, in the midst of heat, in the midst of such a thorough breeding, when lessons in submission were necessary.

My only thought at the end of this was, "Shut the whole fuck up" in the best way possible. Smut. Just all smut.

I LOVE a good season 1 AU and this was checking all of the boxes for me! There's a secret relationship, Hannibal actually gets Will treated for his encephalitis, Will finds out about Hannibal, etc. Very much loved the plot, and the characterizations were spot on.

You want dark!Will mixed in with some incredibly jealous and possessive Hannigram? Hooo boy do I have a fic for you! The ending was a little abrupt, but it was the perfect mix of gut-wrenching angst and toxicity + smoking hot smut. I genuinely had to stop and focus on my breathing more than once.

THIS WAS TENDER. Fluffy, angsty, smutty, I loved it. Molly showed up with Will's dogs and decided she wasn't going to turn them in, which was a little weird, but I really loved this fic. Just them learning how to be with each other. Also EXCELLENT marathon smut scenes. Like yesssss, of course they can each cum like three times in a row.

Word Count: 25,466 Summary: When Will Graham storms into Hannibal's house muttering about kissing Alana Bloom, the good doctor makes Will an offer: Pretend to date Hannibal in order to prove to Alana that Will is not only stable but capable of being in a relationship. When Alana is convinced Will is the man of her dreams, Hannibal will step aside and Will can get his girl.

Sirius most days wished his life was different, wished too many things were different, he wanted to believe what everyone said, that you had to focus on the positive and everything would get better.

But Sirius was exhausted.

He had tried everything but when happiness seemed to come into his life, something seemed to ruin it, sometimes he felt guilty and ungrateful, he had good things in his life, he had James, his best friend, he had a great group of friends and above all, he had a girlfriend who was absolutely wonderful, you.

You were the one thing Sirius wouldn't change about his life, but sometimes he wished he could change himself for you, so that you would think him as perfect and never want to leave his side, so that you wouldn't abandon him like the rest.

Sirius could still vividly remember the first time he saw you, when you walked into the great hall and your colorful hair caught his attention, but it wasn't your hair that really made his heart pound, it was your smile, the one that seemed to light up the place instantly.

Sirius spent a good 10 minutes watching you, admiring your hair that was shorter than the rest of the girls and had an extravagant color, then he looked at your black jacket, which had something embossed on the back, it looked like drawings in colorful colors, he wondered if you had embroidered it.

Sirius' extroverted and flirty personality seemed to fade when he was with you, he became a stuttering mess and his cheeks turned flushed red, James couldn't help but laugh at the sight of him, acting so stupid in front of you.

It wasn't long before Sirius became close to you, starting to spend more time with you and soon asking you out on a date, which you accepted without hesitation.

Sirius loved you like no one else in his life, you were everything he had been seeking, he didn't need anything else in his life, or so he wanted to think.

But in the end, as it was dawn at Hogwarts, thoughts invaded him and he felt that nothing he had was enough, he wanted to be happy, he wanted it and longed for it like nothing else, but he never got to have it.

Sirius had been on the verge of becoming happy so many times, but in the end it was always taken away from him, and it hurt him to the bone.

Sirius hated the anxiety that invaded him in the dawn, the fear that everyone he loved would move away, he didn't want to lose you, he couldn't stand it, he just wanted to be happy, for once in his life.

But even in those early mornings he couldn't make the pain go away, he couldn't get rid of the anxiety that invaded him, he couldn't even cry to get it off his chest and he hated it.

Sirius couldn't remember the last time he cried, it must have been when he was a child and ended up with a red mark on his cheek thanks to his dear mother.

Since that day he never cried, he just couldn't anymore, even if he wanted to, even if he wanted to vent, he just couldn't anymore, his brain was completely blocked.

So when Sirius felt that immense pain in his chest and that pain that would make anyone cry, his brain simply shut down.

His face would become empty and suddenly he felt nothing, the pain was still there, but it's as if he couldn't do anything about it, he couldn't get it out, he couldn't even express it, let alone push it away.

Time stopped for him and in the blink of an eye hours had passed, hours where he had been on automatic without noticing it, hours he didn't even remember.

You had seen him a dozen times, many didn't even notice, to everyone he was still Sirius, he talked, moved, acted “normal”, but you knew he wasn't right, something in his eyes was off.

You had tried to talk to him, but you never got anywhere, he said that nothing was wrong, that it had been happening to him since he was a child and that he didn't know how to stop it, that you didn't have to worry.

But his explanations didn't make your heart hurt any less, seeing him move away from reality, blocking himself, it was painful, even more the fact that nobody noticed it, they didn't even notice that Sirius forgot things he had done or acted distant.

That day was no different, Sirius had had a miserable day, his heart ached hard in his chest.

After breakfast he had bumped into Regulus, for a while now he had been trying to strike up a conversation with him, but Regulus was completely closed to this, Sirius knew it was his fault, he had walked away, he had run away from home and left Regulus behind, but back then he was a kid, an idiot kid just looking to survive.

Every day he regretted not having been able to get Regulus out of that place, and every day Regulus took it upon himself to remind him of that.

Sirius tried to have a conversation with him, they both needed it, but it didn't go well at all.

“You've never cared about anything but yourself, all you do is ruin everything” Regulus said sharply before disappearing down the corridors.

At that precise instant Sirius' brain shut down, pushing all those painful emotions to the back of his mind, but this time it was different, that pain in his chest wasn't diminishing, it was increasing, growing more and more.

Sirius knew he had to go to class, James was waiting for him, but his feet wouldn't move, he couldn't, he was trapped, trapped in his own mind.

A few minutes earlier you had seen Sirius leave behind Regulus, you knew it wouldn't end well, but you also knew that Sirius didn't like people meddling in his family matters, but when you saw Regulus enter the classroom with no sign of Sirius, you knew something was wrong.

James said that Sirius had probably just gone for a smoke or skipped a class as usual, but something inside you stirred, a feeling. you knew something was wrong.

You tried not to care, you were about to enter class, but you just couldn't, you turned around ignoring the call of your friends, you needed to find Sirius.

After wandering around the castle for a while you finally found him, he was in a lonely corridor, sitting on the floor, staring at nothing.

Immediately you recognized that something was wrong, the glow in his eyes was off, you could tell instantly.

Without thinking you walked up to him, making your presence known so as not to scare him, but he didn't even move, his eyes were fixed on nothing, his arms were tightly wrapped around his legs, his hands had white knuckles from the strength with which he was holding the fabric of his pants.

You felt your chest tighten when you saw him like that, it was worse than you had ever seen.

In a moment you were already sitting next to him, you carefully took one of your hands to his, making him release his clothes and hold your hand, he interlaced his fingers instantly, holding your hand tightly, as if you were going to disappear under his touch.

“I'm here, you're fine, I got you” You said sweetly, giving caresses with your thumb on his hand, Sirius' gaze was still fixed on nothing, anyone would say he couldn't even hear you, but you knew he was still there, locked in his own mind.

You held his hand tightly, reassuring him, your cheek resting on his shoulder, waiting for him to calm down, you knew it wasn't a good idea to push him, the only thing you would do would be to make him collapse.

After a few minutes in silence, Sirius' hand seemed to relax on yours, for a moment he seemed to come back to reality.

“There's something wrong with me” Sirius said in barely a whisper, it wasn't a question, he was stating it, that something was wrong with him.

You immediately denied, giving his hand a light squeeze, trying to comfort him.

“There is nothing wrong with you, Sirius, there never has been, you know that” You said softly, lifting yourself from his shoulder so you could look at him, his gaze went to yours, analyzing your face, but in your eyes there was nothing but honesty.

“I know something is wrong with me, I feel it, inside me, it burns…” Sirius said, staring at you “I always end up ruining things, I hurt those around me, something is wrong with me and I don't know how to make it go away.”

Your chest tightened at the sight of his face, there were no tears but the pain was reflected in his eyes, your hand instinctively went to his cheek, holding it gently.

“There's nothing wrong with you, Sirius” You repeated again. “Regulus told you that?” you asked delicately, you didn't want to push him too far, all you got was a nod, Sirius was silent for a moment, holding your hand before he spoke.

“H-He said I don't care about anyone but me…that I always end up ruining everything” Sirius said in barely a whisper, feeling a knot form in his throat, the pain in his chest still growing.

“He's just annoyed, Sirius, he's hurt, he didn't mean it, you don't ruin things, you care about others more than anyone else, you've tried to fix things with Regulus despite everything, you always think about others before yourself, that shows what kind of person you are…. And even sometimes it's good that you think about yourself, you deserve to choose you sometimes” You said softly, feeling your chest hurt when you saw Sirius' face, you didn't understand how his own family could be so cruel to him, he was just a boy when everything happened, his whole childhood made him the man he is now, he just did what he needed to do to survive.

“I've seen you Sirius, when something hurts you you just block yourself from reality, it's like it's not you… You do it because you don't want others to worry about you, don't you?” you asked gently, to which Sirius nodded slightly, a little confused, you had had this conversation before so he didn't quite understand why you were bringing it up now, but you had a point to prove.

“I-I've been doing it since I was little, I didn't want my mother to be mad at me, she hated it when I cried...If I cried Reg cried too and she got mad at both of us…I always ended up making others upset or worried, like now, I d-don't—" Sirius's voice broke off, a lump formed in his throat, he didn't even know how to express himself, he didn't want to hurt, not the people he loved.

“Sirius, If you didn't care about anyone but yourself you wouldn't do that, you wouldn't block out your feelings so as not to worry others…you can cry, you can get angry, you can feel hurt by others, you don't always have to be strong.” You said quietly, for a moment you saw Sirius' eyes glaze over, though he immediately wiped away the tears, shaking his head.

“N-No, no, I have to be strong, for you, for everyone, I don't want you to have to deal with me and my…. pain.” Sirius said in barely a whisper, as if the very act of saying it would hurt him.

“Sirius, you've been through too much being so young, you have a right to feel bad, you don't have to suppress your pain, not when you have me, James, Remus, you have people who care about you, people who care about how you feel, none of them are going to get upset because you cry or because you need space, you are a person, Sirius” You said, holding sirius' cheek and stroking it gently.

“I know you want to be the best friend, boyfriend or brother, but you're not just that, you are a person and sometimes people do or say cruel things and you have a right to feel bad about it, you don't have to pretend that nothing is wrong.” You explained, feeling your own chest tighten, it was hard to keep your voice steady when you felt a whirlwind of emotions invade you.

At that moment you could see Sirius' eyes crystallize, for the first time a tear rolled down his cheek “I love you Sirius, I love how outgoing and attentive you are, I love all the energy you have, I love when you smile and your eyes light up, but I also still love you when you're sad, when you need to vent or when you need space, not for a second do I stop loving you”.

At that moment Sirius' tears began to flow without stopping, it was as if you had broken that invisible barrier that stopped him, that barrier that separated the two of you.

Sirius had spent his whole life wishing things were different, he changed himself, blocking his feelings, thinking that this way he would be loved, his mother had told him that no one wanted a crybaby, girls wanted someone strong and to hold on to.

But now Sirius knew better, that he could break down sometimes and you would be there for him when he was well again, he now understood that people could sometimes be cruel and he was not to blame, that he could feel hurt, that his feelings did not make him dramatic or weak as his mother had said.

When the pain invaded him he didn't stop being him, he was still Sirius, you were still there, people didn't move away, the world didn't stop, his pain didn't make him stop being Sirius, his pain didn't make him less lovable.

In a moment Sirius was in your arms, his tears soaking through your shirt, all those emotions he had been holding in for years were now coming out, and it felt… good.

Sirius felt himself crumbling, pain consuming him, but this time you were holding him, this time the voices of his family were fading in his head, this time, at last, he didn't have to pretend to be strong, not when he felt his pain drowning him out.

“I promise you'll be fine” You said softly, letting sirius hold you tightly.

You knew Sirius needed those words, at some point you needed them too.

Sirius hugged you as if he never wanted to leave, it was the truth, he didn't want anyone else, he wanted you.

Sirius wanted you, the girl who caught his attention in the first instant, with that colorful hair and those huge boots that Sirius wanted to steal from you, that girl who was sweet and kind and who always had something to say, that girl who understood him perfectly, you.

“I love you, I love you so fucking much” Sirius said in a whisper, hugging tightly, his words were genuine, totally.

You couldn't hide the small smile that appeared on your face, even with the simplest words you could feel Sirius' love.

Sirius kept sobbing into your chest, but this time the pain didn't overwhelm him, it felt good to let go of all those things he had been holding on to.

“Thank you” Sirius murmured quietly, after a while in silence. “For being here, despite everything.”

“You'll always have me by your side, I want to be with you when you laugh and when you make your stupid pranks, but I'll also be with you when you need to vent or when you just want a hug.” You murmured softly, holding sirius in your arms, stroking his hair sweetly.

Sirius swore he could melt under your arms, how come you always had the right words?

Sirius hugged you tightly, sinking his face into your hair, smelling your perfume, which he adored, enjoying the warmth your body emanated.

You held Sirius tightly, you wanted to show him what true love was, he deserved the safety and comfort he craved so much.

He deserved to be loved as much as you did.

I can't explain how much I suffered writing this story, the ideas didn't come out the way I wanted, I rewrote everything again and I'm still not 100% convinced, but I didn't want to keep waiting any longer and I didn't think I could write anything better, and I was already somewhat frustrated by not getting anything out, I hope you liked it and if you have any constructive criticism it is appreciated, I'm sorry if this isn't very good, xoxo
