     uhhhh ok where do i begin to cleanse my soul of salt–     i’ve legit just been sorta discussing this, so here we go, lemme scream about the treatment of villains. ( mostly in the kh fandom but honestly, this can extend to any villain. )      thing with a villain character is, they get one of two treatments generally. 1: apologists swarm in to defend their every action, tell us all about how they did nothing wrong, and take away everything that made the character fascinating. or 2: everyone hates them and wishes they’d die.      can we not just………appreciate an interesting villain? can we not love their characteristics and enjoy how they challenge the heroes and appreciate that they were fucking fantastic even though they were dicks? every villain is the hero of their own story but that doesn’t mean we gotta agree with them in order to enjoy them, y’feel? they did fucked up things and we don’t have to condone that or explain it away.      tl;dr let villains be villains.

Character in general: im love axel. i cried over his ‘death’ in kh2, and legit, the unholy noises i made when i realised his salty ass was coming back in DDD???? he’s beautiful and shady and powerful and he has some of the best lines in the series and i just love him a lot.How they play them: we’re yet to write together but obviously i’ve wandered through this blog extensively bc they’re amazing and write axel so well, and. they just have such an understanding of him and bring such depth to his character and this portrayal is exciting and gorgeous and i can’t wait to write together.The Mun: we’ve only chatted a bit but im already prepared 2 propose marriage, love me

     See, Marluxia always knew Axel was one of the smartest ones around. Marluxia’s hair is very soft and touchable, and yet none of the others seem to have reached the conclusion that they should touch it. ( Honestly. Why do they even bother existing? They are clearly too simple-minded to reach the most obvious of conclusions. )     Axel, though. Axel is acceptable.      Marluxia doesn’t precisely melt into the touch as his Somebody self would have ( what a pliant creature Lauriam was, weak to the mere suggestion of affection ) -- no, he doesn’t melt, but he tips his head invitingly to one side and makes a quiet, pleased sound. Something in his usual blank expression eases, the echo of some unidentified emotion materialising there for just a moment.      “Keep doing that and I may fall asleep on you, you know.”

My Opinion on;

Character in general: sighs lovingly in Adam’s general direction, what a babe, what an attention-stealing babe. i was totally ready to love nier: automata’s main characters the most and then along comes this asshole with his pretty fuckin hair and his rapid character growth and his relationship with his brother and he stole my heart tbh. fuckin’ adam. How they play them: gorgeously. beautiful, clever writing, and i can hear adam’s voice so loudly in all of it – there’s clear thought and love here. drown me in this portrayal.The Mun: haven’t had a ton of chances to speak just yet but put it this way, i’ll be following this blog from any blog i make so i can keep seeing them on my dash!
