@araneorum "whether i'm gonna be your wife, or gonna smash up your bike...i haven't decided yet." / jamie to jason
"what the fuck, byers. don't you fucking dare." jason had only recently started to admit to himself that he liked this thorn in his fucking side. to himself only. not to the proclaimed 'harlot in satan's army' or anyone else. that would come later. baby steps. many many baby steps. "i need that bike." he'd hadn't missed the latter part of that statement. he was just choosing to dissect it. in order of priority. bike first. "it cost a lot of money." not that the carver family was in any shortage of that. but they were intolerant of failure and failing stopped the flow of money to their son. crazy chick bashing up his expensive bicycle would be seen as such. even if he couldn't control said devil chick's actions. another bike would not be bought just to drill in a point. he'd screwed up. that was why he was currently riding the bike instead of driving his car. he did not plan on walking around hawkins or getting a ride from one of the other guys wherever he needed to go. he already felt like a jerk and simply told them that 'the car was in the shop' instead of 'pissed the old man off and he took the keys.' he'd get them back soon enough. old man carver never cared for too long after he proved his point. "god would never permit that unholy union. he'll drag you back to hell before he'd allow it." of course his own crazy came out as it always did with jamie byers. she pressed all his buttons like no one else could do. "leave me and my bike alone. go drive your piece of shit car somewhere and chant to the devil with munson."

Me: I should continue writing my witch AU.
Also me: Hey wouldn't it be mad funny to write Jason in the Pokemon universe and its just a meet cute with Eddie.
#stranger things#jason carver#eddie munson#tigerfreak#munver#i'm this close to giving the jock spiders#idea is that jason has an eevee and like a flock of joltik for NO reason other than personal entertainment#the eevee being his starter pokemon and the joltik the consequence of being alive#and he's taking them out on a walk and one of his mons scurry away#only to be found out by eddie/his pokemon#and jason is worried because oh no a bad influence (eddie just looks like that don't worry)#but eddie turns out to be eddie and then they bond (and also jason's pokemon has decided eddie's pokemon is its bestie now)#so good luck with that jas#alternatively its coffee shop au and jason shows up to eddie's coffee shop with electric spiders all over him#eddie: are you aware you have an infestation?#jason: infestation? D:< they are loyal hardworking members of the community!#eddie: hardworking#jason: they participate in contests#eddie: ooooof course they do#(eddie also participates in pokemon contests by the way)#a version where they're both competitors in the same contest battles and keep seeing each other backstage#and you've got jason and his pretty little eevee vs eddie and his like. crobat or something#and they always disliked how the other ran their business#and then eddie finds out about the spiders#and decides that's pretty metal#even if its jason#or maybe jason is just trying to get joltiks OUT of his house and somehow eddie is there and has to un-spider his house

Billy Hargrove was no stranger to a drug deal, from the age of thirteen the herbal remedy had infected his lungs. Settling there, warm; like some kind of fucked up hug. Home life never ran smooth for the blonde, the idea of escape seduced him and drugs placated the need until he needed his next hit. Though recently the need for a hit had increased substantially.
Small town life was something he never wanted to experience. The distinctive smell of cow shit, actual cow shit invaded his senses as soon as he arrived in Hawkins. Although he wasn't entirely sure whether the smell offended him as much as the small town mindset. All smiles and fake niceties. To say that it was mind-numbingly suffocating would be the understatement of the century.
The only things that had even attempted to bring him comfort were sex and drugs. Girls were easy to come by, practically throwing themselves at him. Batting eyelashes and lipgloss coated smiles. Sickening. Drugs proved slightly harder. While Billy had been using them to cope for as long as he could remember, the last thing he wanted was for his father to be on his case. It wasn't the Hargrove way to acknowledge problems, never mind trying to placate them so they no longer bothered you. Neil Hargrove would champion that until his demise.
Which is why Billy found himself returning to none other than Eddie Munson time and time again for his weekly drug hit. Eddie was one of the more covert drug dealers, the added bonus of being able to secure the drug deal when he was on school time meant that the suspicions of what Billy was actually doing reduced to practically zero. His father would never know, the only two witnesses being the blonde and brunette. The perfect situation.
What Billy was a stranger to though, was finding his drug dealer in a compromising position with none other than Jason Carver. Captain of the basketball team and all round dickwad. Considering the amount of hatred that they seemed to have held between one another, seeing them locking lips; hands comfortably nestled in each others hair was mind blowing. Conservative small town Hawkins, Indiana housed a surprise that Billy was by no means prepared for.
Carefully, he spat the gum out of his mouth onto the floor below him. Lips curved into what could only resemble a smirk. He approached the boys further. Hands resting deep in his pockets. "Well, well well..." he inhaled, eyes bright he had finally found a golden ticket of leverage. "What have we got here?"

they say history repeats itself and she saw it in jason the minute she met him, but with that in mind she couldn't help but be instantly curious about him all the same. she'd just graduated and as such she had passed along control of the school to him. it was an awkward moment as she and tommy were no longer a thing but it was still in her best interest to show her face at the end of the year party.
keeping up an image and all.
carol was sitting on the edge of the counter of the island in jason's kitchen nursing a cup of whatever had been mixed up in the punch bowl behind her. she was on her... well, honestly carol had lost count of how many glasses she had finished off. " nice party for a church boy. surprised your dad let you have it. " the words sounded worse than she meant them, she liked jason. her dad was friends with his, so it wasn't entirely a foreign concept on how he was raised.

Chrissy Cunningham was broken, utterly broken. A brush with death had taken hold of her already frail psyche and almost destroyed her. She was dead, she had died, they held a funeral for her and yet, here she stood, heart still beating in her chest, still alive, which is more than some people in Hawkins could say. Shifting in bed was made more difficult with her arm in a cast, the broken bones in her right arm were the only physical reminder of the ordeal. She doesn't sleep much, or at all anymore. The nightmares wake her after a short time and it's difficult to even close her eyes some days. Eddie's bandana was still tied around her cast and she fiddled with it, watching the fabric move, as she curled on her other side.
She hasn't left the comfort of her home since she came back, or at least she hadn't until Steve Harrington and Nancy Wheeler turned up on her doorstep with a serious favour. Lie. It was a simple enough lie, simply corroborate their story about who had hurt her and murdered and maimed the others. It was believable enough, Jason had been at the scene of one murder and he was her boyfriend. He planned the murders, got himself an easy fall guy and descended into utter madness. It didn't take her long to agree, only half a minute of internal deliberation really. Chrissy had been the catalyst, the flame that ignited the powder keg, the reason that Jason had gone after Eddie in the first place. But now, Jason was dead and Eddie was alive. It was a lie that would give him back his life, that would save him from damnation. He saved her life and now they were equal, her life debt had been repaid, as the police thanked her for her bravery and closed the case on the brutal, ritualistic Carver murders of 1986.
There's something in the air tonight, something Chrissy can't put her finger on, but she can't ignore the feeling in her stomach that something was going to happen. Something bad. Almost as soon as she had the thought she heard a noise outside her window. And it almost sounded like tapping. She sucked down a frightened, shaky breath as she glanced towards it, her face relaxing only slightly as a very familiar face appeared on the other side of the glass. "Eddie?" she breathed, as she sat upright, a little off balance due to the cast, as she padded across the carpet to open it for him.

She’d done it. Chrissy Cunningham had dumped Jason Carver. it had been a long time coming and honestly his shoutout at the pep rally was the straw that broke the camels back. Chrissy had always been more introverted and private when it came to how she loved, that shoutout, it wasn’t for her; it was all for show. It was always for show.
Speaking with Eddie earlier had given her a sense of clarity that she needed. Chrissy couldn’t turn to Jason, her own boyfriend, about what had been going on with her. But she had been comfortable enough with Eddie Munson to at least try to explain herself. She had edited a lot out, but he got more out of her than most.
After the game, and after her conversation with Jason, Chrissy waited in the parking lot. Declining rides from friends to the after party at Benny’s, saying she was getting a ride with Jason. Which was a boldfaced lie; she wasn’t intending on going to Benny’s and she certainly wasn’t going with Jason. Hugging her sweater against her body, she spotted the Hellfire club exiting through another door. They whooped and hollered as they left; their campaign must’ve gone as well as the big game. She couldn’t help but smile when she caught sight of Eddie, waving at him when he noticed her. Not caring who saw.

Eddie cupped Jason's jaw with a firm grip and brought their lips close. He took a slow breath, searching those vibrant blue eyes with his own dark gaze. It was satisfying to hear such a straight arrow speak such filthy words, and to be so in control of those desires. Eddie loved the tension. He loved the soft warmth across Jason's cheeks coloring them a bit flush.
"Then get on your knees and beg for it Carver."

Chrissy had only gotten back to Hawkins a few weeks before school was starting up. between being sent away to girl scout camp for the first half of the summer, having a week home before she was back out the door and at cheer camp the last half of the summer. She didn’t get to hang out with anyone from middle school, though knowing very well she’d see them on the first day of high school. She couldn’t wait to catch up with people but at the same time, being away from her mom, not forced to count every single calorie she ate (or even being told she should skip meals),
The first day of freshman year she met up with all her friends - it felt like they hadn’t even left middle school with how easily they fell back together. Getting back into a routine Chrissy was glad to be back at school, it was one place where she mother couldn’t easily influance her.
Closing her locker after grabbing her bag and books for her last period her eyes fell on Jason Carver. She had a small crush on him in middle school, hell she’d had a crush on him probably longer than that - they both attended the same church so there where only so many kids their age is Sunday school still.
“Hey Jason!” She called out pushing past a few people, god was she about to make a fool of herself? maybe - but she hoped something would come from this. As soon as she was closer to him she smiled a little “Do you have plans after the football game tonight?” She questioned - she still had to cheer at it, so it wasn’t as if she could find out if he was free right after school. “Cause I was wondering if you wanted to hang out? Or end up going to a party after if we win.”

Charlie hated hospitals — which was a (not so) funny thing to say, considering she’d been spending all her last waking moments in one of those white rooms. Most of her sleeping ones, too. Getting a shower and some clean clothes were pretty much the only reasons why she’d gone home at all, food being something she wasn’t craving lately and that she could find in the cafeteria anyway. She’d been sitting next to her sister’s sleeping body like a guard dog for the past several hours, guilt and anxiety eating her from the inside like a disease that was spreading at the same speed of those cracks that could be found everywhere in Hawkins. Lucas walking into the room had been her sign to go take a walk and leave the guy with Max — after what they’d been through, he deserved that much. He’d been there when everything had gone so horribly down, when they’d almost lost Max… Charlie’s knuckles still hurt from breaking Jason Carver’s nose and yet that hadn’t been enough. Adrenaline had quickly disappeared from her veins, leaving space for something darker she was refusing to face, and her legs felt wobbly as she walked through white corridors with a cup of coffee in her hands. She hadn’t planned to end up in front of Eddie’s room, but there she was. He didn’t look awake, but Charlie’s feet led her closer to the bed anyway, a whisper escaping her lips with a joke she knew he would’ve appreciated. « Fuck, you’re so pale it’s almost like you stole Gene Simmons’ makeup. »

it was just another day in carynn carver's life. either people whispered behind her back or they bullied her to her face. being that she was the sister of one of the star basketball players, it was usually the first. most people didn’t want to get on jason's bad side. however there were still some who didn’t care and were brazen enough to taunt her openly. that was what had led to the current events. carynn scrambling on the floor to grab her precious bible that had been knocked out of her arms when she'd been tripped. school had ended for the day and she was on her way outside to where her bike was chained when a few boys cornered her, one of them tripping her.
"we heard you were easy?" well that much was true. she'd probably screw any of them right then and there if they asked. if girlfriends hadn't come up behind them to join in making fun of her. she especially wouldn’t have minded taking care of girls - if they weren’t such bitches. that wasn't something she'd openly admit though. liking girls wasn't something safe to talk about. "how can you walk around preaching about god all day while being such a slut?" now the girls were laughing and chanting whore at her. tears streamed down her face as she cried for them to leave her alone. one of them stepped on the back of her dress as she crawled trying to stand on the overly polished high school linoleum floor, a loud rip could be heard as the fabric tore and more laughter followed.
that was her favorite dress! she'd made it herself just as she did most of her clothes. the carver family might have plenty of money but that didn't mean they extended it to their pariah child. no, what carynn had she either made herself or brought with the small income she made from bookkeeping at the church. she hoped it was salvageable. "leave me alone! please!" she shrieked. she'd almost reached the bible when one of the girls grabbed it. "hey is there anything in here about being a whore for the lord?"
"give it back!" she heard footsteps coming up behind her and the feeling of someone's arms around her helping her off the floor. a familiar voice yelled "boo!" at the bullying high schoolers. she couldn't see him but the maniacal laughter startled her and apparently creeped her tormentors out as she was firmly rested back on her feet. "that's right. get out of here. aren't you afraid satan will get you for picking on one of god's creatures?" with that they scattered off. carynn was left to turn and face eddie munson, another outcast that ran with a very different circle.
she pulled away from but not out of disgust. "thank you." the sentiment was sincere. head tilted to the side. "why did you do that?" there was curiosity in her sky blue eyes. "aren't you?..." no, asking her savior if he was 'of the devil' probably wasn't a gracious move. "you hate my brother. he's a jerk to you." who wasn't the younger entitled carver a jerk to? that included her half the time. she remembered her ripped dress and tried to look over her shoulder at it as her hand felt around. "how bad is it?" please don't let her underwear be on display. a blush reddened her pale cheeks.

@hellfire010 // liked for a starter from jason carver.
it was abundantly clear to everyone now, that jason had been wrong. he’d not only accused an apparently innocent man of murder, but he’d led a witch hunt to find him and bring him to justice. he’d fed into paranoia and panic, and did what he felt was necessary, but now that everything had passed, jason wasn’t looking like the hero he thought he’d be. still, he hadn’t backed down. he’d seen what he’d seen, even if eddie hadn’t personally killed chrissy or pat he’d been there when they were killed. that had to mean something. plus, he was a satan worshipper. not being a serial killer didn’t change that. and jason had no intention of apologizing. after all, why should he? if chrissy had never met up with the guy, jason would have been there to protect her, and she never would have been harmed. of that much he was sure. he would have died to save chrissy. not run away like a coward.
he’d been working hard, his entire life up to now had been in preparation for a future, most of that had been taken from him when half the school popular had turned on him when eddie had been exonerated, but he would keep pushing. staying late after school, tutoring those in need, running drills late into the night in the school gym, pushing himself further, pulling away from his faith in a way that frightened him. he’d stayed late again tonight, anything to avoid going home, anything to avoid the quiet that brought him more questions about who he was and what he believed in, now that everything he thought he knew had been challenged. he was just about to leave the school when he heard the whine of an unfamiliar sound echo through the halls and followed it to the auditorium, surprised to find someone in there playing guitar. he stepped in, letting the door slam automatically behind him, bringing the noise to a halt and leaving him standing face to face with none other than eddie munson.
he wasn’t sure what to do. had he known who he’d find behind closed doors he would have stayed away, but now that it was clear they’d seen each other he felt he had to say or do something. of course, he opted for nature, aggressive and abrasive as he spoke, his tone threatening and defensive.
“you’re not supposed to be here.”
