Well, I had a glaring disadvantage in both versions (both the Psychic-type and the Ghost-type are weak to Dark with nothing the Fire-type can do to help that. Doesn’t help that Meowscarada the Unrivaled’s Dark-type move Night Slash has an increased crit chance) and I got off to a very bad start in Violet (Corruption fainted. Twice. Also I had to have a short break to answer the door in that raid battle which knocked some time off as well. I did think I was gonna have to retry but somehow we recovered surprisingly well) but somehow I managed to beat Meowscarada the Unrivaled first try in both games. I’ve opted to keep her in my boxes until I get Quaquaval the Unrivaled because I want to have them both join my team at the same time. For that, Quax and Spriggie are back in my teams with Purity and Corruption in my boxes. I’ve named Meowscarada the Unrivaled Flora in Scarlet (has nothing to do with Floragato I just thought it made sense) and Masquerade in Violet. Quaquaval the Unrivaled will also be in a Beast Ball in both versions. Not sure what to do about the dirge because it doesn’t deserve a cool ball. Probably just catch it in a regular Poké Ball or a Premiere Ball (likely the former because it’s less interesting)

Movesets:

Purity the shiny Armarouge: Lava Plume, Calm Mind (didn’t use), Clear Smog and Acid Spray. Holding a Shell Bell

Corruption the shiny Ceruledge: Bitter Blade, Swords Dance, Clear Smog and Sunny Day (attempted to use once but fainted before she could use it so it wasn’t used either). Holding a Metronome

Anyway finally got a Meowscarada for my Dex in Scarlet!

Got a bunch of Scarlet and Violet updates on the way starting off with the Quaquaval raids! I beat him on the second attempt in Scarlet only because the first time I forgot that him resetting his lowered stats means he resets his lowered stats but I beat him first try in Violet and the one time I fainted was much later in Violet than it was in either of my attempts in Scarlet! Not exactly sure why my Eelektross have such different HP stats (I’m sure I remembered to Hyper Train my Scarlet Eelektross) although that might explain why I kept fainting so early in Scarlet. Also both in the winning attempt in Scarlet (but not the first attempt in Scarlet because neither appeared) and the only attempt in Violet the NPCs included a healer (Gardevoir in both versions) and an intimidator (Staraptor in Scarlet and Tauros in Violet)

And of course a gay duck for my Violet Dex! His name is Carnival in Scarlet and Aqua in Violet
