Btw, my predictions/theories for Deltarune chapters 3 & 4 before they release (probably LONG before, but who knows?). Keep in mind, I don’t watch a ton of theory videos or read most recent analysis posts, so some of these might be miles off what the rest of the fandom are guessing, and some might be old news for others.

We start Chapter 3 with some kind of dream sequence, that might give us a bit more insight into Kris’ character.

Toriel will be a part of the party in Chapter 3, and she won’t be a great healer, but she will be good with pacifying.

Undyne’s gonna show up in the Dark World, sorta serving a similar role in whatever it’s called to Berdly in Cyber World: semi-reluctant assistant to the world’s boss.

Similar to Queen mirroring Noelle’s mother (and possibly King mirroring Susie’s situation?), Tenna is going to have distinct echoes of Asgore.

Partway through chapter 3, Noelle will appear, because I am huffing copium. If you did Weird Route in Chapter 2, watch out.

I don’t know if Mike will be the Secret Boss, at least not based on current designs for the character. I can imagine a world where that happens, of course, but the previous Secret Bosses act very similarly to their Light World inspiration, and I don’t know how exactly that would work for, like, a microphone.

Susie and maybe Kris are gonna try and tell Toriel that the Dark World is a dream, but she isn’t gonna be fooled for a second, and she’ll fully realize it was real even afterwards.

Ralsei and Toriel are either going to have a very awkward conversation at some point, or he’s putting that hat back on his head.

If you held onto the character tea from Chapter 2, you’ll get different healing values in 3 and 4, as well as seeing what Toriel really thinks of the children.

Either it will be made clear very early in Chapter 3 that Kris isn’t the Knight for all the previous Dark Worlds, or the chapter will end with Kris opening a new fountain somewhere.

If Chapter 3 has a Weird Route with Toriel, then Undyne is going to end up badly hurt/killed, and both Toriel and Asgore will be conspicuously absent in the Light World segment.

Chapters 3 and 4 are over the weekend (canon?), so at some point during those two days, we WILL meet Papyrus/equivalent. Probably Chapter 4 given official statements about saving in that chapter.

I am not smart/creative to come up with a good idea for the Dark World in Chapter 4. I do think it will have one, if only because I don’t think they’d change the formula THAT drastically in the fourth of seven chapters.

Chapter 4 will end with the biggest and most impactful cliffhanger thus far; the most dangerous Dark Fountain thus far will be opened, leaving all the leads in serious danger.

In Chapter 3, Kris is going to get more suspicious of/judgmental towards Ralsei, but by the end of Chapter 4, they’ll be somewhat warmer towards him.

Jockington is going to eat something he REALLY shouldn’t at some point.

And Snowdrake will continue to not matter.

After approx. 4 days of nonstop drawing, I present to you my AU idea!

Current working name is "World's Soul", but that might be subject to change in the future, I dunno.

This is my first true comic I've ever made. I'm much too used to just doing character designs and portraits, so I'm stepping out of my comfort zone for this. Getting to blend my hyperfixations is the best part of being an artist ^_^;
