sebastian vettel :

— sebastian was cheeky with it. he was a sweetheart, but simultaneously a menace. he knew your father liked him, and thus firmly believed he could get away with a lot. he was probably right but you didn’t want to test the theory like this.

— seb would always be stealing sneaky kisses and hidden touches around the garage, and he was worse still at team dinners.

— your dad was somehow never suspicious when you always sat next to seb, but how he didn’t see the man’s hand in your lap you would never know. seb pushed the boundaries entirely, always stroking your thigh to get a reaction from you. team dinners had become your favorite thing but also your worst nightmare.

— one memory was when you could hear your father searching for you, asking all the mechanics if they had seen you and getting suggestions on where you might be. you were hidden in a broom cupboard right by where he was, seb’s body pressed right against yours as the two of you tried to hide your laughter.

— when you finally decided enough was enough, after a year of dating seb, you built up the courage to tell your father. christian only stared at you for a minute, causing you to panic, before the brit quite simply stated ‘i know.’

— turns out you weren’t half as subtle as you thought.

max verstappen :

— max liked to joke that he wasn’t scared of your father. you both knew that was a lie. not scared per say, but it was clear christian was like a father figure in his own right to max, so you knew your boyfriend never wanted to get on his wrong side.

— max would make a lot of talk about how it didn’t matter if christian caught the two of you, but the second your dad was within any sort of earshot, max was jumping away and practically socially distancing himself from your side.

— you never took offence, in fact you found it quite hilarious. so much so that you’d push the limits of how much you could get away with in your father’s presence.

— that time you apparently had no idea your dad was just around the corner when you kissed max in the hallway of the garage? oh you knew exactly where christian was, you just wanted to see max’s panicked reaction.

— over time he got more confident. the less your father caught you, the braver he became, kissing you in all sorts of risqué places.

— of course, this is what led to his downfall. when christian walked straight in on the two of you making out. max immediately began to apologise, and you couldn’t help but giggle at how panicked he seemed.

— christian just hugged him, said he was happy for the two of you. you cried a bit (but that’s a secret).

— at first, fans assumed max’s constant lingering around the ferrari team was due to his friendships with the drivers. he seemed to be cropping up in more and more videos on the ferrari team page, and plenty of photos were released from the paddock in which max was usually hanging around the ferrari garage.

— around the same time, people also noticed a certain figure appearing on max’s instagram feed and stories. it was usually a shoulder in the corner of photos, a hand in his, or even someone obviously sat across the table.

— every interaction he then had with a woman was overanalysed as people scrambled to figure out who his mysterious partner was.

— that was, until a video emerged of charles and carlos doing social media work, playing a silly game in the paddock as you recorded it. fans were quick to notice the world champion sneaking up by your side and whispering something in your ear that forced you to cover your mouth to stop a laugh leaving.

— when the video was posted, they used the unedited take, in which your laughter caused charles to playfully taunt you, and you turned the camera to reveal one max verstappen grinning by your side.

— fans went wild, all assuming that you were the one max was dating, and this would be confirmed that night when max launched the relationship on instagram. he posted a collection of photos he had taken of you at work, where he was usually lingering close by to watch you.

— you and charles had been flirting for quite some time, and you expected nothing would ever come from it. mainly because he never made a move.

— so one day, when he was flirting once again in the middle of the ferrari garage pre race, you leant up and kissed him square on the lips. charles took a moment to kiss back out of pure shock, but then the two of you were grabbing onto each other and finally allowing yourself to have that.

— when you left the garage to continue your job, frederic caught you mid walk. he looked a mix of horrified and proud. that was when he informed you the whole thing just happened to go down on camera.

— embarrassed, and certainly worried about how charles would be taking it, you ran back towards the garage to find the man in question — only to see him stood, a blushing mess in front of a giggling carlos sainz.

— max’s proposal was very intimate. afterwards he told you he had a whole plan to take you out, but the moment felt right. you were simply sat having dinner at home and he was overwhelmed with love, so had to do it then and there.

— you decided to not announce it for a little while, as the both of you were so overwhelmed with adoration that you needed time to process.

— unfortunately this meant you couldn’t show off the beautiful ring for a while. remembering to take it off every day before you left the house was somewhat difficult as it was so perfect, but you managed.

— in interviews, max kept getting asked about plans to propose, and fans picked up on how he stuttered and blushed as he avoided the question.

— neither of you were good at lying, so it was easiest to make excuses and change the topic.

— the drivers slowly found out one by one when they saw you hiding from cameras in the paddock. max had to make them promise not to tell anyone. you knew most of them wouldn’t, but he did have to minorly threaten lando to not, quote, ‘run his big mouth’.

— it was max that let it up in the end, having taken a photo of you one morning in bed which he found adorable. he just had to go and post it on instagram, forgetting entirely the giant diamond adorning your left hand.

— fans were ecstatic, most entirely not surprised as they began to theorise about the times max had dodged engagement questions.

TAKING CARE OF THEIR DRUNK GIRLFRIEND (MV1 & AA23)

max verstappen :

— max loved to pretend he disliked being designated driver. he’d groan to all of his friends that he had to drive tonight, and therefore couldn’t drink, but secretly he loved it. he loved taking care of you when you had one too many drinks, especially because you would usually cling tighter to his arm as the night went on.

— he would call you his koala, having to eventually coerce you back into the car and to the apartment you shared. he’d help you take your shoes off at the door, kiss your head better when you inevitably hit it on the doorframe, and happily make you whatever late night snack you were craving.

— when he finally managed to get you to go bed, he’d help you get changed in the most respectful way he possibly could. always making sure he kept enough distance whilst ensuring you weren’t putting both legs in the same hole of your pyjamas.

— he wasn’t sleepy yet, but he’d still get in bed with you until you fell asleep, letting you talk utter nonsense until you crashed out.

— when you woke up in the morning, max had already gone to training, but left water and tablets by your bedside with a little note.

alex albon :

— alex was not the designated driver, and at times he was arguably more drunk that you, however that would not stop him taking care of his baby!!!

— on some occasions, alex could barely hold himself up straight, but the second you needed help? it was like he had never touched alcohol in his life.

— he would be straight by you, picking you up and carrying you wherever you needed. albeit he’d have to stop a few times as he wavered on his own feet, but he’d sure as he’ll be getting you to your destination.

— he’s also 110% a ‘will hold your heels for you’ on a night out type of guy.

— when you’re in bed and you drunkenly can’t stop talking, he will throw a pillow at your face to get you to shut up, but the apology kisses are worth the attack.

— would fall asleep attached to your side. like full on bear hug, one leg over your entire body as his face is buried in your shoulder.

— you hadn’t expected charles to take skiing so seriously. he was incredibly competitive the whole time amongst his friendship group, still having fun but making sure he was winning. he loves to show off in front of you, up until the two of you race one another — then he always lets you win.

— (you’d call him out that night at the lodge on letting you win, he’d tell you you beat him fair and square and pepper your face with kisses. you knew he was lying but let him give you attention anyway).

— when you were on the ski lift, he’d hold your hand tightly the whole way to the top.

— his favorite thing was when you returned to the lodge after a long day on the slopes and your nose was bright red. he’d make a joke about you looking like rudolph but kiss it under the guise of ‘warming you up’.

— sometimes, if he got too competitive, he’d gain a little too much speed and send the both of you tumbling into the snow. he’d always make sure you were okay before bursting into laughter and throwing snow at your chest.

— most of his camera roll from the trip was just slightly blurry photos of you going down the slopes, contrasted with ones of the two of you curled in front of the fire at night.

— being one of the stable hands, you came in contact with the royal family a lot. they’d come down most days to see the horses, and occasionally take them out, so you always had to be on your best behaviour incase a surprise visit occurred.

— this also meant you came to know the crown prince, mick, well, for he was an avid horse rider when he wasn’t in council meetings.

— mick and you struck up an unlikely friendship, the prince even staying later than his court members to help you attend to the horses. usually people would leave immediately after their sessions, but mick always helped you i tack and groom the horses, not caring if his fancy clothes got ruined.

— eventually, he’d sneak you fineries from the castle; a pastry here and there, new bed linens, and soon enough, jewellery which you could never wear for the fear of recognition.

— one day whilst mick was staying late to help you turn out his stallion, he kissed you against the stable door.

— you avoided him for a while after this, not wanting to jeopardize his position. that was until mick cornered you one day, asking why you had been avoiding him.

— before you could make excuses, mick kissed you again, telling you he didn’t care for rules, that he wanted you.

— and so you began sneaking around with the crown prince of all people. he’d start visiting later at night when his family weren’t around, spending longer hours with you under the guise of training a new horse. which wasn’t an entire lie, the two of you would go for rides after all.

— you didn’t know how long it would last, but you made the most of every second. stolen kisses in the stable block, shared glances during equestrian events that the palace held. it was hard to not run and kiss him when he inevitably won the riding events, but you made the most of it on those nights.

— mick confessed his love for you one night under the stars, when he snuck out of the palace to come to your quarters. the two of you cried, knowing you could never have the happy ending you body craved, but content with this for now.

to celebrate 1000 of you (!!!!) i wanted to play a little drabble game to thank you all! how it works is:

you send me an ask with name of up to 3 drivers + a prompt, and i will write a short blurb based on how i think they’d react! (calling it the drabble game bc the world blurb gives me heebie jeebies)

for example: lando norris + teaching you how to ski , or lewis hamilton + the first time you met roscoe

your prompt can be: a situation, based on a song, inspired by photos or emojis you attach, based on a story, in a certain time period or alternate universe — anything you can think of as long as it is within the guidelines below!
