caelus learned that one after attempting to comfort the conductor. and yet,

"you're so squishy, pompom!" a pure as snow giggle rings in the train as the trailblazer watches you cuddle pompom. "so fluffy!"

"oi! don't hug me too hard!" they squirm, trying to loosen your grip.

"sorry!" you smile innocently as you look up to see the silver-haired trailblazer, watching you. "hey caelie!" you let go of pompom, running straight to him.

he's quick to pick you up as you stretch your own arms out towards him. he looks at you with curious eyes and then glances at pompom who is cleaning their uniform.

"i wanted to hug pompom! and i did!" you cheered. it earns you a silent chuckle from caelus. much to pompom's relief, he takes you away and to the passenger rooms.

[rule 2; don't drink mr. welt's coffee]

that rule was interesting. it was set because of you really. you tried the coffee once and almost cried. turns out you can't handle the bitter taste unsurprisingly.

"i know you're gonna do it, y/n." you freeze in his lap as welt continues to answer caelus's questions on the phone.

"but what if it tastes different?"

"it's still coffee, dear." you rest your cheek on welt's shoulder, face squished as you stare at the cup of dark liquid. welt doesn't say anything after that, a gentle sigh leaving his lips.

"did auntie himeko make it?"

"no, she didn't."

"then it will taste different." you reason but it doesn't sway the tired father figure. you reach to take a sip. you look up at welt as if expecting the male to stop you but he doesn't.

he knows. he knows what's going to happen and he's not going to stop it. (he does have a different drink on hand, ready for you.)

you take a sip.

and you cry. "papa!" he sets your favorite drink down, moving the coffee towards him. "why do you drink that?!" he guides your favorite drink towards you and you immediately drink it.

"i drink it because i like it."

"you have bad tastes, papa." you stick your tongue out at him.

"and yet you keep drinking it every time."

"sorry, y/n. but i don't think welt would allow that."

"but i'm not ti.. tired!" you yawn between your last word, your hands reaching to rub your eyes.

"you totally are, y/n." march cooed, taking you from dan heng's arms. "let's get you to himeko or welt, hm?" the trio is gentle to bid you a goodnight and a pat on the head (and kiss on the cheek from march) while you're taken to rest with himeko.

"there's the sweetie. awh, you must be exhausted." you're laying in himeko's arms, feeling sleepy with her warmth wrapped around you. "thank you march, have a good time with the others." march waves her goodbye before leaving with the trailblazer and dan heng.

"but i wanna go..." you frown, twisting and turning in the redhead's arms.

"how about you spend sometime with me, welt, and pompom before bed?" himeko suggests.

"are we gonna read some stories?"

"we'll let you pick."

"okay."

you fell asleep about 3 minutes later before you could even hear a story.

Killing his teacher was one of the hardest things Jing Yuan ever had to do. It was like a part of him was ripped apart in the process too. Like apart of him died with her that day. But the only thing that consoled him and that was left behind from his old mentor, was you, Jingliu's months old child. He was exhausted and absolutely shattered by what happened and yet, he held on just for you. He promised that he would.

It took him a while to learn how to take care of you. Thankfully he wasn't entirely alone in this and some of the female generals, surprisingly including Fu Xuan, helped him out immensely during his first year with you. He was so tired with life during the first few months, but you helped him get through it. Your existence felt like a last gift to him by his mentor and perhaps that's exactly what you were.

Years went by faster than Jing Yuan wanted them to. He never cared for them before, as he never really aged himself. But after you came into his life, he began appreciating every single year you were in it.

He documented everything about you and was proud of every little achievement you made. It didn't matter how mundane it was either. When you first babbled out a call of his name, he practically melted on the spot with pride and love.

As the years went by, he began noticing how similar you looked to your mother. It filled his heart with warmth and nostalgia to see you grow into a near carbon copy of his mentor. He made sure to give you a good and happy life, one that she deserved to have had with you too, if things had gone differently.

Once you were old enough, he began telling you simple stories about your mother, about her bravery and her days of mentoring him. You listened to his words, eagerly leaning to hear every word, as you looked so unbearably similar to her, that he couldn't help but hug you for longer every time he could. He saw you as a gift and he'd make sure to protect you with his life.

AVM RELATIONSHIP HEADCANON TIME these are literally all just based on random feelings I get from them. TSC and Red: so I imagine Red and TSC are both aroace and don't do relationships, but they both care very strongly for their friends. Blue and Yellow: they are just together. they are gay. I love them both sm. yes its cause of those captions in that one video saying "I ship it". but also like they just work SO WELL TOGETHER whenever they are paired up they get along really well and don't really have any problems, like they both naturally understand each other and communicate rlly well. It just makes me very happy. And also just the way Yellow takes Blue's hand in that one ep and just HHNNGG I love it sm. I actually don't think they've ever fought like in the sense where they were mad at each other- and I definitely wouldn't want to see them to. Although I CAN also see them as friends, they'd be like. Very affectionate and super close friends if so. I also imagine these two are probably like... the two least likely to start a fight with someone. Green and Purple: I love these two so much, maybe even more than Yellow and Blue. Green is definitely the closest to Purple out of the gang, but I'm not sure whether I see them as platonic or romantic though. Like they could totally be either and I'd be 100% cool with it. I like to see them as QPRs. It makes me very happy seeing lots of people ship them cause even if theirs isn't a QPR, it still works as one. They both adore music. Green loves drama and sad backstories and Purple has THE sad backstory of all time so imo they get along very well. Like I just imagine Purple probably feels like nobody would like them cause of everything that's happened, they feel broken and then Green just comes along and is like. Hey. You are so cool. And Purple is liek "what omg they like me even tho im a mess???" n is probably very happy about that. And I bet Green loves the attention from Purple too. That new short with Green and Purple is everything to me. He's tryin to impress them rahh. I also imagine Purple being aroacespec? They are also both gay bc I say so. (also getting sidetracked here but King Orange/Mango is also aroace to me hehe.) I wanted to write more like how I think red is the second closest (/platonic) to purple after green and how I could see green being QPRs with other characters as well (namely red and blue) but omg my laptop's on 7% and i havent eaten in like 8 hours so yeah. I was listening to some asmrs and was like- hrm hrm I have an idea.

Alright so imagine you listen to an asmrist (aka turtle of your choosing) and for the sake of plot let's say it's like an x listener type shit (now it can be platonic or romantic just something to interact to a user)

You listen to a few of their videos before slowly listening to all of their posts, including each and every new one. You like the sound of their voice, it's excellent for when you're sad or need help to sleep- just comforting company one might say.

You praise them with every new video, commenting on how you liked the story or the voice acting. And soon enough, they start to like all your comments and even occasional reply.

"Aww thanks! I'm glad you enjoy my videos! *insert an ungodly amount of heart emojis*"

"Ik I'm fabulous~ In all seriousness tho I'm happy you like my voice acting~"

A/N this lowkey became something else so sorry if its not like exactly what you wanted AHAHH hope you enjoy tho!

You were looking for your brother Will everywhere. He's been sneaking off a lot lately so it made you curious as to where he was. You asked some of the other campers but they said they haven't seen him.

You were gonna check the woods then give up and just wait until he got back to the Apollo cabin. You made it to a small clearing and stuck to the trees. You saw Will and The hades child what was his name…Nico!.

They were sitting near each other holding hands and they seemed to be whispering stuff to each other. Will seemed genuinely happy which you haven't seen for a long time. He was smiling at Nico as if he hung the stars(lol).

If this is what Will was sneaking off to do you weren't just gonna come out of the woods and announce your presence. Instead you smiled to yourself and slowly walked off trying to not make any noise. Will would tell you when he's ready.

***Time Skip***

Apparently that time came pretty soon. Around two days later Will asked if he could talk to you and you agreed. He kicked everyone out of the cabin and you both sat on his bed. He was fiddling with his fingers and seemed pretty nervous.

You grabbed his hands. “Hey what's wrong?” 

“Im dating Nico” He blurted out and closed his eyes quickly, afraid of your reaction. You were his older sibling, the one he was closest too so he was worried about what you would say.

“I know” 

His eyes snapped open and he jumped a little bit away. “What? How do you know?”

You smiled. “I saw you two in the woods together” He got up from the bed and you continued. “I hope you know i support you Will your my brother”

He dove in to hug you “Thank you Y/n”

“Of course Will but when can I meet Nico?”

He backed away again “Oh you know soon maybe” 

You tilted your head “Maybe?” 

He rolled his eyes playfully  “Let me make sure he's ok with meeting you first alright”

You laughed “ok but please soon i need to make sure he's ok for my little brother”   

He also laughed and went to leave “Thank you again Y/n i-i love you” 

“Love you too”

A couple days later Will told you Nico was fine with meeting you so you planned to meet in the woods which sounded creepy but you trusted that Nico wouldn’t kill you in front of Will.

It was finally time so Will led you into the woods. You saw Nico facing the other direction and fiddling with a ring on his finger. 

“Nico!” Will said and ran forward to greet his boyfriend. You quickly caught up to him. He had his arm around Nico and gestured to you “Nico this is Y/n” 

You stuck a hand forward “Nice to meet you Nico”

He seemed a little hesitant but shook your hand. “Nice to meet you too”

After that you spent way more time with Nico and deemed him worthy of your brother. You and Nico on multiple occasions made fun of will together and were overall a great team. Nico kinda became like a little brother to you which made you have protective instincts over him. 

Which led you to where you are now. About to get into a fight over what a camper said about Nico. 

You were teaching a few other campers archery when you heard a camper saying stuff about Nico. 

“He's a little weird right? With that whole death thing. I can't believe he is even with Will.” You leaned your head a little to listen better. “Camp was a lot better without him here hes endangering camp by even being here”

You walked near the person saying it. “Be careful about how you speak of him” The person's head snapped to you and saw you glaring at them. 

“Oh and what are you going to do huh? He's a child of Hades, he's weird and doesn't belong here” They mocked.

Before they could blink you punched them in the face. Which might have been a little much but so many campers were saying stuff about Nico after him and Will got together. 

The person groaned from where they were on the ground and blood started to pour from their nose. 

You also groaned from the pain of punching someone and shook your hand to try and get rid of it. Other campers started to gather and eventually Chiron came over. He sighed and told you both to go the infirmary. 

Which you did with other campers as you tried to hit the person again after they said more. 

As soon as you got in, Will ran over and Nico followed. They brought you to one of the beds and waved the other kid off to another healer. 

“What happened?” Will demanded after he brought the hand you were cradling to his face. You smiled “I punched someone” 

Nicos eyes widened. “What why?” Nico asked.

“No reason” You shrugged. Will could tell you were lying but was glaring at the other kid they brought it “You punched them?”

You nodded “Yes” . You said it quite proudly and Wills glare switched from them to you. 

You smiled again, acting innocent. After a few minutes of Will checking over your hand and Nico glancing worriedly at you. You finally admitted why.

“They were… saying stuff about you Nico i couldn't just let them get away with it can i? Your like my brother”

Nico glanced away and wiped at his eye hoping you both wouldn't see.

“I'm used to it Y/n don't punch people on my account please” Nico smiled sadly as he said.

“Who else has said stuff that you heard?” You demanded. He laughed “It's fine Y/n thank you for being protective” 

You rolled your eyes jokingly “The job of the older siblings always so hard” 

You all laughed together and you promised not to punch anyone else. Your fingers were crossed behind your back but they didn't have to know that.

Ok first id like to share some good news: finished all my tests for the semester, and i think i only failed like 2 or 3!! More good news, more fics that ill get around to writing!! New idea that I'll def finish this time tho: Humans but there unrealistically better than they are. There's no RDA, no big mining operation, no deforestation or driving natives out or dying earth, just humans being natural born explorers who are mind blown at an entire different planet with life.

And that's wild! They thought they were alone, the universe looking back on itself, explorers of a vast and endless yet lonely expanse. Then boom! Life! Life on a different planet, life so different yet similar. A life that has their own culture and languages, that's so intertwined with nature, they're capable of forming a deep connection at a moments notice! That's amazing! (Forgive me for my amazement, watching Rio and i just love the movie)

Anyway, in this au with no evil corporation only interested in money heading this operation, humans are way nicer! And weirder.

I imagine the Na'vis early experiences w humans are like what some of us think that aliens are doing (crop circles, abducting cows, just standing around naked) (and i say naked because most photos of aliens have em in no clothes. Or they're wearing a full body grey suit). I imagine that at first they don't believe humans are real because they don't show themselves often, only spotted by like a handful. Like "i saw this small pink creature by the river today! It had hair and eyes and hands and feet, and walked on it's legs!" "What the Eywa are you talking abt"

I imagine the first human they meet is a weirdo who's exceptionally brave. They walk up to a Na'vi and just start speaking in the most nonsensical Na'vi ever, that they managed to learn from observing them. They just follow them atound all day, keeps saying Na'vi phrases until whoever they're following just walks to camp and presents them and they're like "hey what is this."

Or, alternatively

Humans try staying away from them cause they're like twice their size and capable of making weapons, except for one person. This one spends their time following around a specific Na'vi and annoying them. They hum little tunes, they're spotted once and disapear behind the trees, they're daring enough to get ahold of their tools and try to study them. Then they start trying to communicate with them, little phrases yadda yadda. All while the Na'vi is going back home like "no mom, i promise i didn't loose my knife, this small pink creature stole it!"

They're like so fed up with the human and everyone around them cause they're like "what are you talking abt" so they're trying to get evidence of their existance. Eventually they do get them and present them to the tribe like "see!! I told you they were real!!!" And they're like "huh. Ok. What is this thing."
