An Unfortunate Accident
Tommy Shelby x Reader
Tumblr media
Warnings: language, blood
Word Count: 601
Summary: When Tommy finds (Y/N) injured after something silly happened to her, he immediately thinks the worst.
Tumblr media
“Shit,” (Y/N) hissed as she quickly cradled her hand against her chest. She gritted her teeth as a surge of pain quickly shot down her arm. “Shit, shit, shit!”
She looked around the kitchen. There has to be something I can use to cover this, she thought to herself as the pain grew stronger. Footsteps sounded off the hardwood just as she managed to grab one of the dish towels sitting on the counter. A quick spin to face the archway told her that Tommy had entered the room. Shit.
“Hi, Tommy,” she tried to sound as nonchalant as possible as she greeted her husband. Her both hands were now hdiden behind her back, and she was placing as much pressure on her injury as possible. “You’re home early,” she commented sheepishly.
“Not really,” he answered, his brows furrowing slightly as he took in the sight of her. “What’s happened?” he asked her then, closing the gap between them as worry seeped into his features. Between her frazzled state and how things looked, his mind was starting to create several scenarios.
“What?” her question came out like a breath, her heart hammering in her chest.
“Do you know you’re bleeding?” he asked.
“I’m not,” she dismissed him, speaking a little too quickly for her liking.
“You are. It’s all over your dress, love,” he answered, motioning to the article of clothing. (Y/N) quickly looked down to see that the front of her dress was indeed stained crimson. A sigh left her lips. “So tell me the truth. What happened?” he asked again, his voice level, his tone one that she couldn’t argue with.
“You’re going to laugh,” she sighed, her sheepishness returning.
“I’m not,” he assured her with a slight shake of his head, his eyes still focused on her.
(Y/N) held his gaze for a few moments, still weighing it all out in her mind. Tommy kept his eyes on her, his eyebrows raising after a few seconds of silence had passed - his nonverbal way of saying ‘I’m waiting’.
One more sigh escaped her lips before she finally brought her (now blood-stained) cloth-covered hand back into view. “I, uh…I was chopping some of the vegetables, and a bird flew into the window. The bang it made scared me and my hand slipped. I sliced my finger pretty good.”
“A bird?” Tommy questioned, incredulousness seeping into his words. His eyes left hers, albeit for a moment, to glance out the window…as if said bird was still going to be hovering there.
“Yes, a bloody bird,” (Y/N) answered, a dire earnestness present in her voice. She watched her husband’s face carefully, waiting for what she knew would becoming. The second she saw his lips twitch, she jumped on him. “You said you weren’t going to laugh!” she exclaimed.
“I’m not laughing!” he defended himself, although he couldn’t help but let a few chuckles out. This made (Y/N) glare at him, and she smacked him on the chest without thinking.
“Ow! Fuck. Tommy!” she exclaimed, her eyes wide with pain.
“Didn’t quite think that one through, eh?” he questioned with a chuckle. (Y/N) couldn’t even be mad at him…he was right. “Lemme see it,” he said then, coaxing her to show him her injured hand.
It took a few moments, but she showed it to him. “It’s bad, isn’t it?” she asked, cringing at the sight of it.
“I’ve seen worse,” he answered, glancing up at her to send a smile before focusing on her hand again, “let’s get it cleaned up.”

mentions of injury; miguel be fantasising bout you guys; miguel makes you say spanish sentences that you don’t know the meaning of (i don’t think this is a warning but oh well); please also forgive if there’s any grammar/spelling mistakes (I’m tired af) — after the incident you wake up at HQ, with a note saying your hired status. with confusion you go to speak to miguel. along the way there and back you get your friends acting suspicious. miguel finally begins to accept that he wants to keep you close.
Tumblr media
Your eyes slowly blink open, bright light invading your vision. At first you just lie there, no thoughts really occupying your brain.
As you go to sit up, having realised that you're lying on a bed, a hand suddenly rests on your shoulder. You turn to see Hobie. "Careful there, mate, wouldn't want ya knocking out again."
"What..." You drift off, brows furrowing as you rub your temples. "Knocked out...oh." Thoughts, or more so memories, begin to flood your brain. The different universe. Miles. The masked men. The running...and then...Miguel. You remember seeing Miguel, he had helped you, asking you to stay quiet.
You remember the instant feeling of relief when he had spoken, and then the droopy feeling of your exhausted body.
You go to swing your legs off the bed, as you gaze around the medical room. But Hobie keeps his hand on your shoulder. "You've gone through some stuff over the past couple days, take it easy."
"I'm alright...thank you." You nod, giving him a small smile. "Am I back at HQ?" Then you further mutter. "I thought he'd send me home."
"Yeah, me too...but maybe your act of defiance changed his mind." Hobie chuckles.
You go to shake my head. "I didn't mean t-"
"Mean to go, yeah don't worry we knew not long after you disappeared." Hobie interrupts.
You nod, but then your brows begin to furrow. "Wait, how did you know?"
"Miguel actually found out. He got pissed you left a day early. Thanks for that, by the way." Hobie nudges your shoulder gently.
You softly chuckle, though your thoughtful expression stays. "How'd he found out? I could've just gone home. I planned to just go home."
"I think he went to your universe." Hobie says, a sly grin forming.
You stare at him. "Why? To tell me I should have worked that day?"
Hobie shrugs. "Maybe."
You shift your body, so that you're somewhat facing him more. "What aren't you telling me?"
"Hm?" Hobie hums, acting innocent.
"Hobie don't have that expression if you're gonna stay silent." You wave your finger in front of his face.
Hobie stands, putting his hands in his pockets. "I don't know what you're talking about, y/n."
"Hobie."
But he's already walking out he door. "Oh." He pokes his head back in. "There's some lunch on that table there. Be grateful I didn't eat it."
;;
You stare at the note in your hand. It read 'You're not fired as of Tuesday'.
"Peter, hey. Have you seen Miguel?" You ask as Peter nears you, your hand now scrunching around the note. Another god forsaken note.
"Y/n, hey. Glad to see you look less pale." Peter smiles, but you're persistent.
"Apparently I'm not fired?"
"You got your job back, nice." Peter at first doesn't notice your blatant narrowed gaze. But when he does, his smile turns to a frown of confusion. "You don't seem happy about that."
"I'm confused. He isn’t one to mess with people…right?"
Peter tilts his head to the side. "Eh, part of me wouldn’t be surprised if he did." He mutters.
"I mean, not even a day ago he was wanting me gone. Not that much has happened to change his mind." You say.
"Actually a lot has happened."
"Yeah, but that stuff shouldn't change his decision about me working here."
Peter shrugs. "Maybe it did."
"Your elaboration there is great, Peter, thanks." Your sarcasm is clear.
Peter smiles, fixing the spider beanie on Mayday's head, as she babbles on about something. "Go talk to him. Most of the time I can't read him, so I wouldn't have a clue."
"That's why I'm trying to find him." You say, to which Peter answers with "I think I saw him heading to the top floor."
And so you make your way to the stairs to heaven (hell). You had just walked down them in an effort to find Miguel, now you were walking up them...in an effort to find Miguel. This fact only seemed make you even more annoyed with him.
Great, you got your job back, but at this point you needed to know why. You needed to know what made him change his mind that quickly. Nothing else ever has. Miguel has always been one to make final decisions, with not much there to sway him.
You think back to Miguel’s reasoning for his initial firing, as you walk up the steps. It was because of the attack. So why would he re-hire you because of another one? Or more so because of the same masked men who had attacked. Were they even the reason?
Does Miguel think you know something, and is wanting you back to tell him? No—you think to yourself. He wouldn’t re-hire you for that simple reason.
When you reach the top, your gaze gets caught up in a decision of what direction to take. None of his offices were up here. The only place you can think that Miguel would go is his room.
But you pause in front of his door. Did you really want to go in there? He’s clearly not working if is in there. God, but you had too many unanswered questions, so you knock.
It’s silent for a moment, besides your breathing and the distant chatter of spider-people. You go to knock again, but the door creaks open. It’s darker inside, the dim lighting reminding you of one of his past requests. You can remember the feel of his broad shoulders when giving him that massage. The small groans he would let slip.
You had pushed aside that memory, not liking the way it made your entire body buzz. “Miguel?”
Then he opens the door wider, staring down at you. His position was surprisingly relaxed, one arm leant against the doorframe, as he wore those monotoned clothes that brought out his red eyes.
Speaking of those red eyes, you caught them scanning your body, a little too slowly and for a little too long. You gulp, not meaning to come across so nervous.
You hold up the severely scrunched up note. Miguel shifts his gaze to it. “I see you decided to take your annoyance out on that this time.” He comments.
You narrow your eyes. “Why am I not fired?”
“I thought you’d be happy to see that note.” He says, relaxing more against the doorframe.
“No. I’m not happy to see any note.” You say, lowering your arm. “Why couldn’t you just tell me in person?”
“Because I wanted to avoid this.” He gestures to you in general.
“You can’t expect me not to be a little curious at the sudden change of heart.” You say, trying not to let your gaze drift down his body. When he had shifted his shirt rose a fraction, letting you see part of his hips and abs.
Of course he had abs. You weren’t blind to how built he was, but the small visual still seemed to make you blink too many times and your brain re-wire.
“You don’t need to be curious.” Miguel states, his tongue running along his fang as if he were bored, but the expression in his eyes begged to differ.
“But I am.” You say, tucking the note in your back pocket. “Look, it’s beneficial for you if I know the reason. Then I can work on what made you want to fire me and continue doing what made you re-hire me.”
“Don’t do what made me re-hire you.” Miguel quickly answers.
Your brows furrow. “You’re saying that like what I did was bad…Why would you hire me for something you don’t want me to do again?”
“You ask a lot of questions, you know that?”
“Don’t worry, I have a lot more in my head for you.” You smile.
Miguel shakes his head, looking away with a clench to his jaw. The tiniest of smiles edged the corner of his mouth, but with his turned away head you weren’t able to catch it. And when he glanced back it was gone.
“Can’t I do something without being questioned?” Miguel asks. “I mean, you got your job back, you should be happy…and any other sparkly emotion.”
“You should use those ‘sparkly emotions’ more often, O’Hara. You know people who can lead with positivity usually get more people on their side.” You tilt your head with a raise to your brow.
“You do realise going off track isn’t gonna make me tell you anything.” Miguel says.
Your smile falls as you press your lips together with a sigh. Miguel darts his gaze up your form again, checking your injuries. Your ankle was only partially sprained so no cast was needed, but his gaze kept on getting caught up on the small cuts that littered your body. Some faint, some more prominent, like the one on your bottom lip.
Before he knows it he’s grabbing a belt loop of your pants, pulling you slightly closer as he tilts your head how he wants. Your eyes widen at the action as your heart begins to pick a quicker pace. Two of his fingers stay under your chin—keeping your head tilted up—while his thumb hovers over your cut lip, his gaze narrowed in inspection.
“You should make sure that that doesn’t get infected.” He says in a whisper.
You scoff, though it comes out softer than intended, you having to gulp immediately after. You had been right—having him this close was going to give you a heart attack. “That’s rich coming from you.” Your voice has turned to a mere whisper also.
“You keep seeming to forget that you’re only human.” He mutters. “Weak.”
“You forgot annoying.” You mutter back. Miguel meets your gaze and you freeze. He was close. Too close. Because your mind was beginning to fog over as you stared at Miguel’s intrigued eyes.
Then suddenly he says “We’ll continue our Spanish lessons in a few hours.”
“I don’t think that’s necessary anymore.” You say, to which his eyes narrow, his hold still keeping your head tilted up.
“Really?” He sounds disbelieving. “So, you manage to say one Spanish sentence, and that’s it? you’re done?” He tilts his head his eyes darting. “I thought you were more determined than that.”
You narrow your eyes in turn. “And I learnt that sentence from my phone. So, yes, I think I’m fine.”
A small sneering smirk began to curve his lips. “I thought I took your phone.”
Your mouth opens and closes. “I…got a new one.”
“Or…you stole it back.” He counters, raising a brow.
“It’s easier this way. I don’t have to bother you with lessons.”
“But I liked getting something in return.” He answers smoothly.
“You were asking for things anyone could do.” You say.
“But I’d have to pay for someone to give me a massage.” He mocks sadness. “When you were there being oh so nice and generous.”
“I wasn’t being generous. It was apart of the deal.”
“And it still is.”
“No. You firing me, got rid of the deal altogether.” You say, moving to step away, wanting to breath in air that wasn’t getting mixed in with his.
But he pulls you back, tightening his hold on your chin a fraction, one of his fingers dragging to rest on the in-between of your jaw and neck.
“But I re-hired you, which means the deal’s back on.”
“What if I say no to the job?” You suddenly ask.
“Chaparrita, you’re not gonna say no.”
And you hated the fact that he was right. No matter what people said you did like this job, being around all these spider variants. It settled for an interesting life.
Miguel’s finger—that rested by your jaw—started to subtly caress back and forth. It had soon grown into a habit of his, when he got the chance to touch you.
There was almost something soothing about it for him. Being able to feel your soft skin against his claws, that he would usually only use for violence. A contradiction that silently said to him ‘Not everything about you is violent. Not everything has to be’.
And those words only seemed to come up in your presence. At first he had been annoyed by them and that fact. He doesn’t have time or the energy for “feelings” and such. He had to stay focused.
But over—especially—the past few days his annoyance had fizzled away, slowly but surely. Shifting to a feeling that he much preferred, one that made his body buzz with heat. And of course—only in your presence.
So, yes, maybe he did re-hire you so that the masked men wouldn’t be able to find you in your home, but maybe it was also for selfish reasons. Not liking the idea of not seeing you, even if his scowl was still present.
He liked being around you, even just listening to you talk. It all still confused him, but he finally recognised his want for you to stay. To make him feel settled, calm even.
At the end of the day, both his ‘reasons’ for re-hiring you are selfish and he knows it. He wants you close and in his line of vision, and he was going to make sure things stayed that way.
“Alright.” You say, finally agreeing to continuing this deal with Miguel. “But please don’t make me run around endlessly.”
“Have I been?” He shakes his head for you. “No. I’ve only given you easy tasks.”
You don’t why he has but you are definitely grateful. “Don’t use your phone again.” He suddenly says.
“Many people use phones for different thin—“
Miguel cuts in, sparing you an annoyed look. “For Spanish lessons.”
You finally manage to step back, holding in your sigh of relief until you were alone. Miguel watched you intently, catching onto the way your hand began to fiddle nervously with the very same belt loop he had been holding onto.
“I’ll uh…see you in a few hours then.” You say, beginning to step backwards down the hallway. “In the tech room?”
Miguel shakes his head. “It’s still being repaired. Just come back to my room.”
You ignore the flutter in your stomach, as you nod. “See you then.” Then you swiftly turn and head towards the stairs.
Miguel watches you go, his lips curving up into an easy smile.
;;
A few hours later—those hours having been filled with back and forth thoughts—you were walking past all the different spider variants, heading towards Miguel’s room.
You narrowed your feelings down to nervousness, having gone in a roundabout of thinking ‘it’s fine’ ‘I’ll be fine’ to ‘im starting to sweat’ ‘why the hell am I starting to sweat?!’
“Y/n!” A voice stopped you, and you turn to see Miles, Gwen and Hobie.
“Miles.” You smile. “So sorry for practically leaving you back there.” You did feel bad.
“Please don’t. I would have told you to run anyway. Those men were scary.” He made a face which made you chuckle. “They had like….real large claws.”
“Yeah…would much prefer never to see them again.” You half chuckle.
“How are you?” Gwen asks, taking her hood off.
You nod. “Good. Better. Yeah…a lot better.” You glance down at your ankle. “Wish I wasn’t so accident prone though.”
“Nah.” Hobie begins, swinging his arm around your shoulder. “You jus’ have a running theme of bein’ in the wrong place at the wrong time.”
“That makes me feel so much better.” You scoff.
“Where are you headed anyway?” Hobie asks you.
“Oh, just to Miguel’s—“ you pause. You were gonna say ‘Miguel’s bedroom’ but then realised how strange that would sound. “To speak to Miguel.”
“I thought you already did?” Gwen asks, brushing her hair from her eyes.
“Yes…but…we have more to discuss.” You nod.
“Like what? Does he want to talk to you about his strange display of worry the other day?” Hobie asks with a sly smirk.
You glance at him, brows furrowing. “Coz that don’t really sound like him.” Hobie continues.
“You’re doing that face again.” You say, narrowing your eyes.
“Am I?” He again prays innocence.
“Yeah, you are. And it’s beyond annoying.”
“Jus’ like I thought he found you.” Hobie mutters almost smugly.
“What?”
In response Hobie just smiles at you, putting his hands in his pockets. You shift your gaze to Gwen, who is looking away.
“Why are you guys acting so suspicious?” You ask.
“We just find it…strange is all.” Gwen says.
“Find what strange?”
“Well…Miguel was the one to bring you in…which isn’t strange, but it was just the way he was acting.” Gwen begins, making your brows furrow further.
“I’m not following.” You say slowly.
“He didn’t really let any of the doctors touch you up.” Gwen continues.
“Then how….?” You’re confused. Because you had woken up with clean cuts and a fixed ankle.
“Ay, what are we all talking about, you guys?” Pav appears, swinging down from a different ceiling path.
“Jus’ about Miguel’s strange actions in medical.” Hobie says.
“Oh yeah!” Pav nods quickly. “He was acting really different. Wouldn’t let anyone near you, y/n.” He gestures to you, to which you raise your brows in disbelief. Then Pav chuckles. “It was almost like he was—“
But Gwen cuts him quickly. “He was just acting different. That’s all.” Gwen spares Pavitr a small glare.
“Okayyy.” You drag out, eyeing them all again. “Right now Miles is the only one seeming to be acting normal. Which I appreciate.” You had begun to back up down the path. Miles spares you a small smile in response.
As you begin to head to Miguel’s room, their words circled your head. What did they mean by ‘didn’t let the doctors touch you up’ or ‘didn’t let anyone near you’. They’re right—that is different from Miguel. So far different that you just can’t seem to believe it.
Maybe they were playing some prank. But even though you can see Hobie and Pav coming up with that joke, you can’t see Gwen getting in on it.
But those thoughts soon drift away as you near Miguel’s door again. You knock, feeling your palms increase in sweat.
Miguel opens the door. Upon seeing you he tilts his head, asking for you to come inside. You do, slipping past him and into the cozy, dim room.
“I hope you’ve come up with some helpful phrases.” You say turning to him. “Because I gave up my phone for this.”
Miguel pulls out a desk chair, taking a seat. You look around, seeing no other chair to occupy. “Use my bed.” He says, gesturing to his ruffled sheets.
You turn your gaze to it, holding down the small hitch of your breath. Why was it hitching? It was just a bed.
You walk over, carefully taking a seat at the edge, facing an already seated Miguel. “And yes, I am better than your phone.” He says, meeting your gaze.
“You sure?” You question. “My phone is pretty helpful.”
“And you’re saying I’m not?” Miguel asks with a small tilt his head. “That hurts.” His dry humour was something that had grown on you. Whether you liked it or not.
“Quiero ir a la feria.” It was a simple beginner question that you repeated effortlessly.
“Quiero ir a la feria.”
“It means ‘I want to go to the fair’.” Miguel explains.
After a few more simple sentences, a idea pops up in Miguel’s head. He probably shouldn’t execute it, but of course he still will.
“Me encantaría usar tu cama para otras cosas.” Miguel says, waiting for you to repeat it.
“Me encantaría usar tu cama para otras cosas.” You repeat, your flow having gotten a lot better.
Miguel’s breathing hitches upon hearing the words. You had assumed he got you to say something simple, along the lines of ‘I am a farmer who plants trees’. But he instead made you say ‘I’d love to use your bed for other things’.
And Miguel should probably stop and move on, but he doesn’t particularly want to. “¿No crees que me vería bonita atrapada entre tus sábanas, Miguel?”
“Aren’t you gonna tell me what the other sentence means?” You ask.
“Repeat it.” Miguel doesn’t budge.
You sigh. “¿No crees que me vería bonita atrapada entre tus sábanas, Miguel?” (Don’t you think I’d look pretty trapped in your sheets, Miguel?) You tilt your head, staring at him. All you know is that you asked him a question, but that’s about it.
Miguel breathes heavier, giving you a once over. “Tan bonita.” (So pretty.) He murmers.
“Do you want me to repeat that too?” You ask.
Miguel chuckles. “That’s fine.” Your words staying trapped in Miguel’s brain, seeming to repeat…over and over.
Miguel’s gaze kept flicking to your lips. Conflicting emotions resided behind this action. He could see your cut, which reminded him of the fact that you got dragged into a mess you didn’t particularly ask for, resulting in you getting injured and down right hunted.
The other emotion veered closer to his reasoning for getting you to say those sentences. He wanted to feel them. Lean closer…and see what they felt like. Maybe he wanted to soothe your cut with his tongue…
“Miguel? Are you gonna tell me what I just said?” You ask, leaning closer to get his attention.
Miguel meets your gaze. “I’ll let you try and figure it out.”
“That’s not very good teaching.” You mutter.
He just shrugs. “Then I guess you‘ll never know.”
“And don’t translate it on your phone.” Miguel says pointedly. “That would make you a bad student.”
You clench your jaw but nod. “Fine…” your gaze shifts to the window, seeing the dark sky.
You quickly stand. “I didn’t realise it was this late. I should go.” You begin to head to the door.
Miguel watches your every movement, until you glance back giving him a small nod. “Thanks for somewhat of a good lesson.”
Miguel just hums with a nod, as you turn shutting the door and leaving. Leaving Miguel to gaze back at his bed and where you were seated.
He had already begun to decide on what he wants in return.

ryomen sukuna x f!reader
**part of my best friend's (older brother) fic
previous part linked here
--
sukuna wakes up to the feeling of your hands running through his hair again, only to find his head entangled in between your criss crossed legs. he’s barely able to make out the contents of the room the dim light peeking out from underneath the curtains and from the pale red of the alarm clock on the side table barely helping.
“hey. i –” he mumbles.
“sorry if i woke you.” you respond quietly, to which he gives you an almost too aggressive shrug, which you half predicted was coming anyways.
“are you hungry? i can –”
you lightly lift your thumbs and place them on his forehead, pushing him back down against your legs as you shake your head. you can tell that he slightly gives up, surely due to the fact that he really isn’t awake yet, as he looks up at you, blinking the sleep out of his eyes.
“slow down. i’ll help you with breakfast, yeah?” you murmur.
“you mean you’ll watch?” he mumbles.
“i’ll watch.” you confirm.
he gives you a small smile.
“how’s your eye, pretty girl?”
you smile.
“better i think. feels less swollen today.”
sukuna pushes up off the bed, only to quickly turn around, cupping his hands around your cheeks as he inspects with his eyes, expression dripping with concern. you reach forward, pressing your thumb into the wrinkles of his forehead, as you try your best to soothe them away.
“you shouldn’t frown so much. it’ll give you wrinkles, grandpa.”
“does it still hurt?”
“eh. it’s okay.”
sukuna gives you a disbelieving look, before hooking his hands under your chin and angling your face up towards him. and the ends of his hair, messily matted against his forehead, tickle your skin, as he leans forward, lightly pressing his lips to the bruised area on your skin.
“did that hurt?” he whispers.
you feign shock. only because the warm, surging feelings you get start to get so overwhelming that you can’t exactly put them into words. and that really, they’d be too big for him too, especially after last night.
“only my heart! you’re really cute, you know that?” you exaggerate.
sukuna rolls his eyes.
“there’s no need to be so sarcastic this early in the morning. i was trying to do that sweet romantic shit you like.” he responds, irritated as he drops his hands to your sides and pulls you closer.
you laugh.
“but really. i mean it. that was really cute of you. i love when you attempt to do sweet romantic shit for me.” you joke.
he rolls his eyes, before leaning forward and presses a kiss to your cheek, before tucking his face into the crook of your neck.
“you’re awake so early?” he asks.
“just thinking.”
sukuna deflates a little, before pulling back.
“about what i told you last night?”
“yeah. amongst other things, though.”
sukuna offers you a smile.
“good or bad?”
you shake your head.
“it’s always good when i think of you.” you state.
sukuna raises his eyebrows.
“you think good thoughts of me when i leave the toilet seat up? because the ten texts you send me afterwards say otherwise.”
“well, there’s some exceptions. that gets really annoying. but really, overwhelmingly good for the most part.”
sukuna leans forward, resting his forehead against yours as he flutters his eyes shut. his breathing is quiet, almost too quiet, and you can tell from the lingering touches that there’s something simmering in his head.
“penny for your thoughts?” he whispers.
you smile, before pressing your index finger against his chest.
“just thinking about that.”
“your stress balls?”
“your heart, idiot.”
he pauses.
“what about it?” he asks.
you pause.
“i woke up and i…i was thinking about what you said. really, about how grateful i am that you still ended up here next to me. and i pressed my hand against your chest, to feel that it was still thrumming there underneath my fingertips. and…and then i got really emotional because… because i get it now. you promise on my heart, because it’s more important to you than yours. and really, maybe it was thinking about the fact that i almost lost yours…or didn’t get to have it in the first place that i realized. your heart is the most precious thing i have to promise on too.”
sukuna hears a sniffle, only to look up and find wet tears in your eyes.
“are you crying, baby?”
you shake your head.
“no. i just woke up.”
sukuna laughs.
“quit being weird. it’s normal to cry.” he responds, reaching forward to swipe the wetness away from your cheek.
you scoff.
“easy for you to say. i cry way more than you.”
sukuna rolls his eyes.
“that’s not true. i just don’t do it in front of you.”
“well, that’s even worse. you know you can cry in front of me, right?”
sukuna smiles, before leaning forward to press a kiss to your forehead.
“i know. i’m just…i get overwhelmed sometimes by the whole sweet and caring girlfriend who loves me type of thing. but i’m coming around to it.”
you smile, your hunch confirmed, as you reach forward to pinch his cheek.
“i’m fine waiting.” you jest.
he smiles.
“seeing yuuji later today?”
“yeah. we’re getting coffee before i go to work.”
“you think he’ll grovel? because if he doesn’t, i’m going to give him a shiner to match.” sukuna asks.
you give him an irritated look before you pause.
“i think he’ll finally give it a chance. or somewhat of a chance, just because he feels bad.” you state.
“well, thank god. i feel like that’s all he needs to see. he has some shit misconception of how i treat you, how i treat other women.”
you shrug.
“i don’t know. i feel like he actually knows you’re really good to me. i think he’s just…it just gets complicated with past stuff, you know?” you offer.
“every time we’ve argued, it’s always some bullshit about how i’m being careless again and doing it with you. how i’m not good enough to treat you the way you deserve.”
“you know, he really does think highly of you. he knows you wouldn’t do that, especially not to someone he cared about. i think he just feels insecure or less than about it with everything else.” you state.
you sigh.
“i’ve been thinking about it since i woke up. he…he doesn’t really know about anything you told me last night, right?” you ask.
“the only person who knows that is you.”
you give him a halfhearted smile.
“he plays a lot of comparison games. it’s not really his fault, with the way your dad is, but…but it’s probably really hard for him to see how different things are. i mean relationships wise, your parents would be much happier with us than they are with him. it can’t exactly be an easy sight to stomach, especially when he’s always been jealous of that aspect of things. about how other people get to be out in the open without scrutiny and he won’t ever get to be.”
“i watched my dad insult you at dinner. happier, my ass.” he deadpans.
you frown.
“that’s true. but i still got to sit at that table. you don’t think he’d throw out whoever yuuji tried to bring home? megumi wouldn’t even make it one step past that door.” you whisper.
sukuna sighs.
“as shitty as it is, your dad will eventually come around when he realizes it’s sammy who’s going to help me. and really, he’s going to proudly boast that his new daughter in law could potentially be a doctor, because those are the only things he really cares about.”
you pause.
“yuuji’s always had to compete for attention. always tried his hardest to…i don’t know, get noticed when you were there. he must feel like i forgot all about him and is lashing out because of it.”
sukuna pinches his eyes.
“and what does he do to you? because he’s drunk out of his mind dancing on top of the bar and you’re crying in bathrooms getting consoled by strangers until i came and dragged you out of there. if someone forgot about the other, it was definitely him.”
you sigh.
“we’ve both made our fair share of mistakes. i think we just need to put it all to rest. and when things come around to it, i think it would be really sweet for all three of us to do something together.” you state.
sukuna gives you a nod.
in all honesty, it sounds less than ideal – being around you and yuuji at the same time, given every past encounter – but the glimmering hope in your eyes means that he has to swallow it down and promise to at least try.
--
[sammy]: be there in ten.
[sammy]: btw. bringing my girlfriend.
you’ve been staring at the two messages for the past seven minutes, since they lit up the screen of your phone.
“relax. just be normal.” sukuna states.
“am i like…supposed to say something? she never really told me she was gay, like…like should i address it and tell her good job or…”
“you should definitely not tell her good job. if she didn’t think it warranted a whole talk, then don’t make it into one.” sukuna offers.
you nod, rubbing at the sides of your arms, as he comes up behind you, placing his hands on your shoulders and squeezing.
“it’s not that intimidating. you’ll be fine.”
“did you have to do this with yuuji? did you like get him something or –”
“we all knew already. when he told me had a boyfriend, i just told him it was cool.”
“right, well, i had no idea. oh my god, should i have known?”
sukuna rolls his eyes.
“you’ve seen sammy with four or five different guys. i’m pretty sure we were all aware that the only person our house who was hopelessly pining over you was me, not him. and how were you supposed to know? hell, i’m sure at some point sammy didn’t even know herself.”
“that’s true. just…just tap me if i’m being weird. and help me because i –”
the doorbell rings and sukuna leans forward to press one last kiss to your cheek before the two of you shuffle to the front. and when he swings the door open, you can feel your throat dry.
“hey! how’s your eye, kid?” sammy asks, reaching forward to quickly wrap your arms around you as she shuffles inside.
it’s almost too fast the entire way it happens. sammy’s handing sukuna the box of donuts as the two of them start shoving each other and you and mai, who you haven’t seen each other in weeks at this point, are awkwardly lingering by the front near each other as you shut the door.
“you’re dating my sister?” you whisper.
“i obviously didn’t know she was your sister.” she whispers back, white knuckles gripped around the flowers in her hand.
“how did you not know she was my sister?”
“she always mentioned you by some nickname she has for you. she obviously didn’t show me a picture or anything, i just –”
she stops promptly as sukuna walks up to your side, slithering a hand around your waist, as the two of you straighten up, giving him a smile.
“it’s nice to meet you. my name is sukuna, i’m y/n’s boyfriend.”
“mai. i’m sammy’s girlfriend. obviously, but..but you know. because why else would i be here?”
sammy gives her a weird look as she walks up to her side, slithering her hand in with hers.
“are you good?” sammy asks.
“yeah. yeah, i just want to use the bathroom if that’s okay?” mai asks.
“for sure. which way sukuna?” sammy asks.
“down the hall to the right.”
the two of them give you a polite smile, before sammy shows her down the way and you turn on your heel to face sukuna.
“sukuna.” you whisper.
“what?”
“i know sammy’s girlfriend.”
“you do?”
“mai. like my roommate mai? at the dorms?”
“wait. the one who’s always –”
“seeing all the different people! yes! the same mai!”
sukuna crosses his hands across his chest.
“okay, now that wouldn’t be a good thing to bring up.”
“sukuna. she dates so many people. she’s going to get bored and leave sammy.” you deadpan.
sukuna rolls his eyes.
“don’t go assuming stuff based on the past. if you applied that logic, you could say the same thing about me.”
“okay, but you’re an exception.”
sukuna places his hands on your cheeks and squeezes hard.
“and she could be too. i’m telling you right now that this is not a good idea.”
you sigh.
“sukuna –”
“i know you’re not going to start being a hypocrite now. because you know what’s going to happen if you do and sammy’s going to pull away, just when you started being friends again. i know you have a lot going up on here, but i’m asking you to swallow it down for today and put it away for your own good.”
you groan. only because it’s irritating how right he is. you’d do exactly to sammy what yuuji did to you – and somehow, it would be even worse. because it’s one type of pain, to not have yuuji trust you in the face of everything. but to crash down the bridge you had just rebuilt with sammy over something as trivial as this, it…it wasn’t worth it in the slightest.
and really, that there was nothing wrong with mai. she brought guys over, but only before she asked for your permission – the subpar living situation that you were in prior to staying with sukuna was actually because you had an incapability of saying no to her.
she’d always help you without asking questions, help you find an outfit to impress sukuna’s friends and set your hair just right to make sure you liked it. without judgment, with no questions asked.
and really, if sammy saw something in her, you weren’t going to be the one to doubt her intentions. sammy and mai return, the two of them giving you half hearted smiles, as you all face each other.
“i would just like to make it very clear. mai just told me how you guys know each other.” sammy states.
“right. well, i just told sukuna too so we’re all on the same page.” you mumble.
you rub your palms against your pants.
“sorry for being weird mai. i was just kind of caught off guard, but it’s really nice to see you. it’s been a while.” you offer.
“right. well, that’s partially my fault. i kind of stole your roommate.” sukuna says.
the joke is enough to lighten the air a little, as you all laugh, and sukuna squeezes your hand at his side.
“that’s fine. it works well for us, because sammy ends up sleeping over almost every night.” mai responds.
sukuna turns to you, leaning forward.
“now you don’t have to feel bad about paying the rent there. your sister’s the one using the space.”
you turn to sammy.
“i expect cash in full.” you respond.
“hilarious. now let me look at your eye.” sammy says.
mai and sukuna shuffle off to the side of the kitchen, as he starts setting the tea kettle with her help.
“does it still hurt?”
“no, doctor sammy.” you exaggerate.
sammy reaches forward, lightly pressing her fingers into the area around your skin before she lets go.
“well, let’s hear it.” sammy states.
“hear what?”
“you’re not going to be weird?” sammy asks.
you scoff.
“do you just find me strange?”
“i mean. maybe a little.”
you shove her in the side.
“bitch.”
“i was expecting a whole weird…awkward talk about me being gay. figured you say something that was entirely strange, but that your heart would be in the right place.”
you shrug.
“do you want to have a whole big talk? because we don’t have to. and it’s unfair that you have to have one just because you’re gay and feel the need to address it if you don’t want to.”
sammy smiles.
“thanks. i just…”
she pauses, as she looks down at her hands and starts to twist the rings on her fingers.
“i figured that you were probably shocked. given how hard of a time that i’ve given yuuji…which, you have to know i feel horrible about.”
you smile.
“i know.”
“i was just…jealous of him. for a lot of reasons. because he was close with you, because he wasn’t ashamed of it, and really that he got to be out in the open with megumi while i was sitting on dates trying so desperately trying to convince myself i liked it just because it would be easier if i could.”
you lean forward, tucking your chin into the little divot of her shoulder as you wrap your arms around her.
“i do hope you realized that it’s not easier. and that you can have your cake and eat it too.” you respond.
“yeah, well. she’s kind of perfect. she’s never done this whole…dating girls type thing either so we’re kind of figuring it out together. and it’s kind of nice to do that and kind of decide what works and what doesn’t for us.”
you smile.
“well, i’m really glad you get to have that. and that you brought her here, even if i was being weird about it before.”
sammy shrugs.
“i want to punch you in the face.” sammy states.
you glare at her.
“that’s so sweet of you!” you respond, sarcastically.
“no, i’m being serious. there’s a term for it, when something is so…so nice you just want to…” she says, gesturing with a fist in her hand.
“oh. cuteness aggression?”
“yes! that.”
“okay, well. you can just be a normal person and tell me you love me instead of saying you want to punch me in the face. not even twenty four hours after i got punched in the face mind you.”
“speaking of, when are you seeing him? he feels really bad.”
“later today.”
sammy offers you a smile.
“it’ll go well.”
“yeah, yeah, i think so too.”
--
“ryomen.”
sukuna looks to his left to find sammy standing at his side, hands crossed over her chest. he spares you an irritated glance – but really delighting in the fact that it makes you smile – before looking at her.
“can i help you, samantha?”
“do you ever call her samantha?” you ask.
“no. just sammy. do you ever call him ryomen?” mai asks in return.
“yeah. if i’m in a good mood.”
sammy smacks her hands down on sukuna’s shoulders and squeezes hard.
“and i bet like the caveman he is, it drives him crazy!”
sukuna rolls his eyes.
“does not.” he retorts, though the pink flush creeping up his neck kind of gives it away.
you turn to mai, shaking your head. you watch as sukuna pushes off the table, pressing a kiss to the top of your head, before him and sammy shuffle off to the corner of the room, where they talk in hushed tones.
“so.” sammy starts.
“so.”
sukuna leans against the back wall, as sammy follows suit, until the two of you are facing the spot you just left, getting a clear cut vantage of where you were sitting with mai.
“how was she last night? hopefully not too broken up after everything your dad said?” sammy asks.
“she’s good. we, um…we had a really good night. don’t worry about her.”
“ew. you’re a dog. while she had a black eye?”
sukuna wrinkles his nose.
“we had a good talk, dumbass. you’re disgusting.”
“i was teasing.” sammy clarifies.
it’s a quiet beat, as the two of them watch you and laugh off in the far distance, small whispers of smiles echoing on both of their faces.
“did you have something you wanted to say? i was expecting a whole threatening big sister talk when we came over here.” sukuna asks.
“well, in all honesty, i considered it. but, i don’t think it’s really necessary. i can tell that you’ve been waiting for her for a long time. you’re not exactly planning on letting her go anytime soon.”
“well, you’d be right about that.”
“what i did want to say is that you can’t hold out on her.”
sukuna turns his head to the side.
“what do you mean?”
“things are really nice right now, sukuna. they've been sweet and soft as you guys kind of figure out how to do all of this. am i right?”
“yeah…”
“when things get harder, which they inevitably will, you can’t hold out on her. i know her but i also know you. she’s going to be the type to run to your side. and you can’t be the type to run away.”
sukuna can feel his throat dry.
“i know you’ve been doing really good with her. and that you’ve been trying and that means the world to her. i’m just asking that if you get an urge to run, don’t. not only just for her, but she’s going to be there for you and you should just let her. you deserve that just as much as someone else.”
sukuna can feel some weird simmering in his chest as sammy leans her head against his shoulder, a gesture that he returns by resting his own on top of hers. and really, that horrible block that he gets in his throat that he’s been working on melting seems to come back in full flesh, so much so that he can’t muster a response to sammy.
that he knows that she’s right. that he has no intention, and that really, he’d fight every instinct to get it right because he knows, deep down, that this is going to be it for him. that it was going to be you or nothing.
“you have nothing to say to that?”
sukuna smiles. he can hear the light jest, but he knows that it comes from a well meaning place. and that sammy, of all people, was well versed enough with him to know that there would be no confession, at least not until a few days later when he was ready to say it.
“i was just thinking about how unfair it is.”
“unfair what is?”
“that yuuji gets to have me as an older brother. and that y/n gets to have you as an older sister. and you know, in some way, you’ve always been an older sister to me too. we’ve always had someone to look out for us like that, all of us except you.”
sammy smiles.
“you think i’m like an older sister to you?”
sukuna shrugs.
“well, you’ll be my little brother someday, so it’s only fitting.”
“right well, i do have something to ask too.” sukuna states.
“what’s that?”
“i’ve heard about this roommate before. and i hope you know that that this is coming out a place of love, but…are you really sure? given her past and everything?”
sammy scoffs.
“that’s rich coming from you.”
“it takes one to know one, sammy. i’ve been set on y/n because she’s always been it for me. but i’m just asking you if you’re sure since you just met each other.”
sukuna can see that she’s annoyed – only because his reasoning is sound enough that she has to at least consider what he’s saying. which is the exact reason that he stopped you in your tracks earlier and took it upon himself to ask.
“contrary to your beliefs, i have been to that apartment. hell, i swear there was even a guy there the last time i visited, which was a while ago, i’ll admit. y/n cares about you an awful deal and i do too, we just want to make sure you’re happy.” sukuna states.
sammy gives him a small smile.
“i appreciate that. but i’m smart, and i’m just trying to figure things out as they go. i promise i’ll tap out at the first sign of red flags, because i’ve had my fair share of those and have somewhat of an idea of telling right from wrong.”
sukuna gives a smile back.
“alright, sam. i’ll take your word for it.”
“speaking of taking words as what they are…what are we going to do about yuuji?”
sukuna sighs.
“if he doesn’t give in today, i fear he’s a lost cause forever.”
“do something. he’s your brother.”
sukuna glares.
“yeah, well you told y/n to get in the middle of us and got her punched in the face. i don’t exactly take advice from you, sammy.”
“i thought he saw her.” she defends.
“i didn’t even see her.”
sammy scoffs.
“still. i think you need to talk to him, without making shit comments to him about how he hasn’t learned how to share, for her sake.”
sukuna cringes.
“how do you know about that?”
“he was blabbering a lot last night. mostly apologetic, but i just hope it didn’t wear off by the time they see each other later. either way, her birthday is coming up and i want to make it really nice for her, since you know, it’s the first one i’ll be invited to but…but you know, i want everyone she loves there. getting along.”
sukuna sighs.
“yeah. i agree.”
“hey guys!”
sukuna and sammy turn to the left, at the sound of your voice.
“i have to go soon, but mai and i wanted to take a picture together! we can set it on the timer.”
sukuna makes his way over, feeling his chest tighten at the sight of your bright smile, as you open up your arm to him.
“you guys looked deep in thought over there, everything good?” you whisper.
“do you do anything but worry?”
“sue me!” you respond.
“oh god.” mai states.
“what?” you ask.
“you say that too. every time i make the slightest comment, sammy’s go to is to say sue me! i’ve started a jar at this point, she has to put a dollar in it every time she says it.”
“that’s a great idea, mai.” sukuna states.
“okay, sue us! jesus.” sammy complains, before gesturing for them to get closer.
the four of you laugh, before leaning in for the frame of the picture.

an: thank you for your patience 💌 i've had the longest month of my life - an ungodly mix of applying for executive positions, spending time in our student lead encampment as a medic, taking finals, watching all my friends graduate, working as a medic at graduation (I gave CPR for the first time while our celebrity guest gave a speech which was horrifying), and then came down with a fever. this semester/year was heavily painful and the hardest of college so far but i got recognized with a leadership award that gave me 1. imposter syndrome but 2. made me feel really seen for all the work i've been doing and the struggles i've had this year so it felt really full circle :') basically sentimental stuff all around. but im back for all summer and hopefully uploading regularly! do apologize if this isn't up to regular quality/boring because I 1. have a fever and a pink eye 2. out of touch with writing but hoping to get back into it! birthday chapter next (also like this chapter was a LOT of set up for stuff later so trust)

Chapter 2:
“This is insane. You’re not even trying.”
Leon’s cruel comments had been endless since you showed up today. He was already irritated that you even showed to begin with, now he’s just taking all his frustrations out on you. The guy isn’t even passive aggressive, he’s just aggressive. “I showed you the formula like.. five times already.”
“I don’t need you to patronize me, please.” You asked with a meek voice, bringing your hands up to cover your face for a couple seconds before placing them down on either side of the new math assignment sitting in front of you. You understood his impatience though, you were even starting to grow impatient with yourself, having been stuck on the third question for over thirty minutes now. Leon stressed the fact that you got one hour only with him and you’d basically wasted half that time bouncing from the formula he’d written down to the question itself.
The formula was helpful, but this question included more numbers than you knew what to do with. The main issue was knowing which numbers went where in the formula and you wanted to know why they went where they did, but Leon was only giving you the formula and nothing else. One vague explanation and then he was right back on his phone.
You had a glimmer of hope for the frat boy sitting in front of you. Had, being the keyword here. One study session in and you were already starting to accept defeat. “Can you explain it to me again?” You tapped your pencil on the table nervously, keeping your eyes glued to your paper to avoid the obvious glare you’d receive from him.
The sound of his phone slamming down on the table accompanied with a groan made you grip onto your pencil tighter, now holding it still as he pulled the paper away from you. “Do I have to hold your hand, too? What’s so hard to understand about this?” He reached over, yanking your pencil from your hand so he could scribble out the first few steps to the problem. Afterwards, he tossed both the paper and pencil back over to you, tapping his finger down on the work he wrote down before circling it once. “Need anything else? A warm bottle of milk? Want me to read you a bedtime story?”
He leaned back in the chair, crossing his arms with a sigh after picking his phone back up. “You’ve got fifteen more minutes.” The fuck’s his problem?
Letting out a small sigh of your own, you silently picked up the pencil and looked down at what he’d written. Surprisingly, it did help you make more sense of the rest of the assignment sheet, figuring out the placement of the numbers by using where Leon had put them. Soon, the assignment sheet was finished and you had him look it over.
“Is it-.. Is it good?” You watched Leon carefully, studying his face for any sort of emotion other than annoyance. You unfortunately didn’t find it, but his muttered “good” made you smile, taking your own turn studying your work once he handed it back. Not tossed or thrown, handed back.
He took in a sharp breath through his nose before standing up, focus still trained on his phone. There was only a few minutes left in the hour, so you guess he took your understanding of the material as his leave. “Can we.. uh.. study again on Monday?” His hand paused on the door handle at your question, looking back at you from over his shoulder with his lips pulled tight as he gave you a glare. “You just love taking up my time, don’t you?”
“Wait, is that-” The slam of the door cut you off, leaving you to watch him saunter off through the large window in the door. Your shoulders slumped and you turned back to give your math assignment one last look before stuffing it into your backpack. At least with this new understanding, you’d be able to hopefully do the next few assignments. Mr. Lebovic was kind enough to let you redo your past fails, meaning all you’re doing is slowly climbing your way back up to a better grade with make-up work.
You held out for Leon, constantly giving him the benefit of the doubt with each study session following the first. You did your absolute best to remain passive with him, but each session was filled with crude, nasty, hate-filled comments directed at you, so it was only a matter of time until you started throwing your own comments back at him. By the beginning of November, studying had been put on the back burner whenever you two met up, assignments left abandoned in favor of fleshing out full blown arguments. He always won since you’d never really had a loud voice to defend yourself and his favorite go-to was low blow insults, somehow always managing to sniff out your insecurities.
Leon’s pattern was always one step forward, ten steps back with you. He would help and then spend the rest of your hour together nitpicking your every attempt to learn. He hated you and it was driving you mad. It was impossible to learn anything like this.
You’d grown a sour mood leading up to your trek to the library for one of your regular study sessions, a scowl settling on your face. You decided hours ago that getting dressed wasn’t an option today, you just didn’t weren’t in the mood, so instead you threw on a hoodie and a pair of sweatpants to mind the brisk chill that had rolled in at the end of October.
The walk to the main building was dull; most of the leaves on the trees around campus had long since browned and fallen off, the grass was dead and crunchy, and it almost felt like it would start snowing anytime now with how quickly the cold had come. The feel in the air made you tired, it made you miss home. The weather made you long for the warmth a home-cooked meal provided, but you had to wait, and that wait was only contributing to your already piss poor mood.
Making your way into the library and into the reserved study room, you didn’t even notice Leon’s smile until he asked you to pull out your most recent assignment. It immediately put you off because it wasn't like his normal cocky smile or smirk, no, this one was oddly genuine. Soft, even.
“Can I see it?” He asked, smile widening slightly as he gestured towards your backpack. Even his tone was softer than usual. “Uh…” You weren’t quite sure how to react, not really processing his words as you tried to figure out whether he’s setting a trap or not.
“Your assignment. Can I see it?” Leon clarified, his arms resting crossed on the table as he glanced down to your bag and then back up at you. That was also weirding you out; the eye contact. Normally he only ever met your gaze when he was intimidating you with a deep glare and it wasn’t ever this long. He was making a point to look at you now.
Without saying a word, you unzipped your bag and pulled out a couple papers, only looking away from him twice to make sure you were getting the right ones. You made sure to hold eye contact with him, eyebrows furrowed as you searched for any insincerity.
You’d grown rigid with his kind behavior, even more so when he thanked you and took the papers from you. Questioning him was your top priority right now, though your mouth refused to work with your brain, causing you to stutter out a simple “..what?” Leon only hummed, tilting his head a bit as he looked down at your work, following the tip of his pen as it trailed down the paper.
“What-..” You repeated, swallowing dryly before finally getting the full “What’re you doing?” out. He seemed genuinely confused at your question, looking up to give you a puzzled look. “Hm? Whaddya mean what am I doing? I’m looking over your work.” He looked back down at your paper, clearing his throat quietly.
“No, you’re being nice. Why are you being nice?” You were quick to shoot back to try and draw his attention back to you. “If this is a joke, I’m not gonna fall for it.”
Leon sighed and dropped the pen down onto the paper to rest his crossed arms on the table again. “Why are you asking so many questions? It’s not a big deal.”
Not a big deal?! “Not a big deal?! You’ve argued with me every other day for the past three weeks!” Your hands balled up into fists on your lap, completely baffled by the dismissiveness of his complete 180° in demeanor. “I-” You stopped yourself, taking a moment to breathe. This was.. actually a nice change of pace now that you think about it. Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth?
He gave you his normal annoyed look at your sudden pause, seemingly waiting on you to finish talking. “You..?” Shaking your head a bit, you let out a soft laugh and waved your hand. “Nevermind, uh.. yeah, nevermind…”
“Ooookay, well, you did good on this one so you can turn it in.” Leon held up the first paper before sliding it across the table to you, then picking up the second paper. “But this one needs a bit of work. I circled the questions that need to be redone, not gonna tell you what’s wrong with them, though.” You watched as he slid the other paper to you with your own smile now forming. Pulling out a pencil, you started to relax for the first time around this guy, bringing your attention down to the circled questions.
Your study session has never been more productive. He was being helpful; answering your questions, talking you through each step, giving you smiles and the occasional thumbs up. You’re not sure what changed or why, but you definitely weren’t complaining. When Leon wasn’t acting like someone shoved a stick up his ass, he was actually pretty handsome. You’d mentally recognized his good looks when you first met him, yet his demeanor as a whole masked those good looks entirely.
There was no way he could throw anymore surprises at you, but you stood corrected when he walked over to you at the end of your session, stopping you from walking out. “Listen, I’m sorry for how I’ve been acting. I don’t want to be mean to you, it’s just…” He paused to laugh to himself, looking down at the ground with an almost bashful expression. “I’m only tutoring because it’s a big part of my grade in my class, so..” Not a complete lie on his part.
“Oh. Oh, it's.. it’s fine.” You didn’t want him to revert back to his old style, so you chose to just dismiss it. His attitude did make sense, you wouldn’t want to tutor random people for a grade. “Don’t worry about it.”
“Thanks. Uh.. oh, here-” Leon opened and held the study room door open for you, giving you a small wave as you walked out, which you returned. That was a nice mood booster, not being degraded and demeaned every time you see the one person who’s supposed to help you.
Your friends had their own opinions about the experience after you described it to them. You’d been relaying every bit of info relating to your study sessions from the past three weeks to them, a second and third opinion was good to have for such an odd trade.
“I don’t trust it. Plain and simple.” Sky placed their hands down on their thighs with an audible slap. They didn’t seem impressed by Leon’s sudden chivalry, and to your disappointment, neither did Ella when you looked over from Sky to her. She just looked back at you with a shrug. “Sorry. I’m gonna have to take Sky’s side on this. There’s just something off about that.”
You sighed in defeat, turning your head around to look out the window in the dorm room. It was nice that Sky and Ella shared a dorm, you can’t discuss stuff like this in your own dorm in case your roommate decided to randomly appear. “Yeah…”
Ella scooted closer to you on the bed and pulled you back so your head was resting in her lap. “I know you got your hopes up, but please be careful. I don’t wanna see you get hurt because some pretty boy decided it would be fun to manipulate you.” You groaned, covering your face with your arms. Nothing even happened and you’re already feeling embarrassed.
“It’s okay if you like him, he is kinda cute.” Ella giggled and moved one of your arms to poke your cheek. “But just remember that the guy’s got a bit of a reputation for being a major douche.”
Sky, sitting over on their bed, pointed at Ella in agreement. “Emphasis on major douche.” They smiled and leaned back, their head plopping onto their pillows. “It was just one instance of him being sweet, after all. Who’s to say he won’t revert back to being an asshole by Wednesday?”
“I know, I get it.” You swatted Ella’s hand away and sat back upright. Even if he was putting up a front, it was still nice to get some real help with your math without being insulted. Everyone deserves a second chance and he seemed honest enough when he told you why he’d been so rude, so why not try again with him? Start fresh, maybe you’ll get to make an unlikely friend out of this popular frat boy.
A bit of a far fetched idea, considering the vast differences between you and Leon, but anything like that is worth another try. Don’t look a gift horse in the mouth.

Tommy felt his anger raising, but he needed to calm down and think.
Think straight, have a clear mind.
Father Hughes was the most irritating person on earth. He didn’t want him to be involved in his charity project, that man was far from being someone respectable and he only make him waste his time. Deep down, Tommy knew he must have a dark past, something that he did wrong… he just needed to find what was his weakness.
It was still early, but still he needed a drink. Taking a glass and a decanter, he poured himself some.
“Thomas.” Polly called from the door.
“I need you to take care of everything today, gotta go.”
“Where?”
“I’ve a meeting, will probably be back later tonight.” He took a long swing of his drink. “Arranged a meeting with Vicente Changretta, Arthur and John will be there.”
They needed to fix the relationship with the Italians, after burning down the restaurant. He already had enough trouble in his hands.
“Fine.” She looked at him intensely. “You know… I was talking to Lizzie yesterday.”
Tommy hummed unbothered.
“Has Y/N told you if Lizzie keeps pissing her off?”
“No. Why?” He moved to his desk to take a few things.
Polly shuddered, perhaps she understood Lizzie wrong, she seemed to feel embarrassed and refused to say anything else to her.
“She’s jealous.” Polly ran her fingers through her hair. “She thought Y/N’s baby was yours.”
Tommy’s head snapped towards his aunt. His eyes had closed in disbelief. “What the fuck?”
“Look, I’m not judging her, and you shouldn’t either.” Polly gave him a knowing glance, se had talked to the secretary and she seemed to be having a change of heart.
“She told me she’s willing to do anything to get you to trust her once more.”
Pondering on Polly’s words, Tommy thought for a couple of seconds. “Anything eh? Alright… she’s going to help us clean the mess she made.”
He’d try to push Lizzie’s buttons just to make sure how far she could go. The sudden change could’ve a reason behind.
Now it was Polly’s turn to squint her eyes. “What are you thinking of?”
“She’s going to break up this absurd romance with Angel Changretta. Very peacefully.”
“Isn’t that too much to ask?” She asked cautiously.
“Explain to Lizzie how life works, no matter what Angel says, he’ll always remind her of her past. If she knows what’s good for her, she’ll always have her desk available here as a secretary, but if she keeps this going, I’m going to be her worst nightmare.” He warned right before storming out his office.
First he’d stop by to pay Ada a visit, then off to the meeting with the Russian royalty.
***
Y/N thanked the two men carrying the last piece of furniture into the office, they previously brought in the small desk and chairs, the bookshelf and a file cabinet.
In the corner of the room, she kept a box full of folders, sheets and other office supplies she would distribute among the classrooms. Most of her days have been busy organizing the storage and after a while it seemed to be presentable.
“Miss Y/N Y/LN?” The gardener called, getting her attention. “Your presence is required outside.”
“Oh! Sure.”
The Shelby Institute might open its doors any moment now, she thought as she strolled through the long hall, her shoes clacked against the floor, the daily walks around the institute made her keep in a good shape, because her belly was becoming more prominent day by day, of course she got out of breath anyways.
“We just need you to check if it’s the right color.” Paul asked pointing at the wall.
Tommy made sure to hire Small Heath people, purchasing all the material from local and small businesses, he felt this urge to help as much as possible because he couldn’t stop thinking given different circumstances, it would be him instead of them struggling with money, not having enough in their pockets to feed their family.
“This looks amazing, thank you for all the hard work you’re doing.” Y/N praised.
It wasn’t her place to supervise, but Tommy officially let her decide everything that was needed; from the color, decoration, even the personnel. He just kept signing cheques.
“Am I still on time to enroll my children? Could you ask Mr. Shelby, Miss Y/LN?”
“Yes of course you can! Bring me the papers tomorrow morning and the authorization.”
It was Tommy’s wish, to help as much people as possible.
The man gave her an embarrassed glance. “I don’t want them to be like me, I want them to have an education.” He added with melancholy.
“There’s nothing wrong to work in construction Billy,” Y/N encouraged. “But it’s admirable that you want them to be better.”
“That wouldn’t be possible without Mr. Shelby’s generosity.”
Y/N smiled at him but before she could step inside the building again, she noticed a car parking behind. Squinting her eyes because of the sun, she could barely tell who was that.
“Is this the Institution that runs that gang leader?” The man asked, judging by his attire he was a priest, but there was some off about him that said otherwise.
An uneasy feeling made Y/N take a step back, she covered her bump with the folders in her hands in a protective motion.
“Who’s asking?”
Tommy would be the last person on earth to have something to do with a priest.
The man looked her up and down, giving her a nasty and dirty stare.
“Tell him I’ll supervise this place, once it’s open.”
When he left, his vehicle made a cloud of dust. He didn’t ask politely, no, he pretended to be in charge of the charity.
Y/N walked inside the Institute again, making a mental note to add a room for the children to read, and they might need a fountain in the patio. She chuckled to herself, realizing she started to sound like Tommy.
No long after honking loudly, Tommy announced his presence, Y/N saw him behind the window as he was strolling towards her.
“Pick up your stuff, we’re going.” He announced.
“Where?”
“Somewhere, don’t ask.”
Y/N frowned. “I’ve to ask, it’s going to be midday, there’s things that need to be done.”
Tommy stepped into her office, looking for her coat and handbag.
“Yeah I pay you a ridiculous amount of money it’s about time you hire an assistant.” He said with a wink.
“An assistant of an assistant. That’s the most ridiculous thing I’ve heard.” She added, Tommy noticed she crossed her arms, not pleased by his interruption, she was always doing what she had to do and don’t you dare to move something from her things-to-do-list.
“It’s something good, trust me.”
“Can I ask where are we going?” Y/N asked enjoying the wind in her face.
“No.”
“What’s with all this secrecy?”
“If I tell you, you’re going to tell me no.”
“Well, you better include food because the baby is getting hungry.” Y/N smiled at her bump, while her hands caressed in a circle motion. Day by day she was getting fond of her baby.
“Oh I was counting you’d say that, lately you’re demanding more and more food.” He added in a light mood.
“Polly says I need to eat for two.” Y/N defended.
Tommy chuckled and in a blink, he was gone. He literally stormed into the library.
The little information she managed to get was that now she was reading out loud for Tommy a book about Russians that ran away from the revolution and opted to live exiled and from the Crown’s charity. Tommy assured her that way was practical.
Parking later after in front of a couple of shops, but she still knew so little about what was behind Tommy’s requests.
“I’ve a meeting around, it should be quick,” he explained helping Y/N out of the car, “but I thought it might be good if you start searching for some baby furniture, eh?”
“Tommy…” She covered her mouth with her hand.
“And don’t even start saying you don’t have money, I promised your grandma to look after the two of you, and that includes the things the baby will need.” Tommy used her shocked state to practically drag her inside the store, wining the argument way before it could start. “Hello, we would like to check out a moses, a rocking chair, a drawer…”
Y/N stared at him silently, Tommy thought of everything and even though his generosity wasn’t a surprise, it still came out of the blue, catching her off guard.
“Would you like us to open an account?” Asked the perplexed sales woman.
“Yes,” Tommy answered eyeing a catalog. “Everything she wants, a lamp, the carpet, the sheets… just put it into my account.” He handled a card with his company name and address. “Pick you up in about an hour?”
Y/N nodded, still trying to process everything.
“Leave something for the rest of the costumers ey!” Tommy shouted from the door before disappearing.
The woman started swooning immediately. “I hope the baby will get his eyes.” The woman admitted with a blush.
Y/N opened her mouth to correct her and tell her that Tommy wasn’t the father, but she closed it instead, remembering the advise her grandmother shared with her; don’t explain your situation to people you don’t know, let them believe their assumptions even if it’s incorrect. It will save you of uncomfortable explanations.
So Y/N gave the sales woman an awkward smile and followed her to the back of the store, this moment would arrive sooner or later and she was already here.
“We can make any piece you want in a variety of colors, there’s a trunk in the corner that goes well with this dresser…”
“Let me bring the fabric catalog for the carpets.” Added another woman, they obviously wanted to make a juicy sale.
Y/N felt like she was walking on a cloud, the smile on her face couldn’t get bigger. And now, she was the one swooning over the furniture, her imagination taking her to unknown places with images of her rocking her baby to sleep, or taking a look through the canopy at a small bundle of joy.
An excited gasp escaped her lips when she landed her eyes on a crib mobile. Her heart did this flip inside her chest and she could hardly hide her emotions.
“Should we add it?” The expert eye of the sales woman noticed her excitement. “Your baby will be fascinated and spend hours staring at it.”
The mobile had a handmade star and a sheep, a fluffy cloud and a small sun. It was adorable, she couldn’t wait for her baby to be born to use everything.
Y/N was allowed to sit on the rocking chairs to see which one felt more comfortable and the women showed her a few combinations to create a whole set of dresser, a small wardrobe, a bedside table and also the different colors they had to offer. The more she looked, the more confused she felt because everything was beautiful! She had never had the chance to purchase furniture, since her house was filled with her grandma’s possessions.
A fond memory of her grandmother knitting a blanket for one of her sisters filled her mind, her parents didn’t have enough money to buy fancy furniture, so they used a basket as a crib, she was just a girl but she remembered it clearly.
Both women shared endless recommendations for her baby arrival, and Y/N felt extremely grateful and was willing to take every little thing that could be helpful.
As she flicked another page of the catalog, she wondered how long would it take Tommy to pick her up, then her thoughts wandered towards her sister Lee-Anne, the last time she saw her, it was the day her father hit her. They couldn’t meet because their parents where so strict now, after what happened, they were trying to move under the radar according to her grandmother. There were so many things she wanted to tell Lee-Anne, firstly assure her that she was alright, she didn’t need to worry, then when the time is right, she would explain everything to her, so the younger girl wouldn’t make the same mistake as her.
Not that she thought her baby was a mistake, no. Those are two separate things. But the circumstances it’s what was wrong, she was aware that not all women had a Tommy Shelby around the corner to selflessly take care of everything.
If only she knew then, she’d do it differently.
“Y/N?” A gentle voice called for her, something squeezed her arm slightly.
Her eyes fluttered open and Y/N looked around confused.
“You fell asleep.” Tommy pointed out.
“It happens all the time.” The sales woman gave her a small glance. “We didn’t want to wake you up.”
“Goodness.” Y/N felt embarrassed and mortified, she felt tired.
“So, I think you found the perfect rocking chair then.” Tommy raised his eyebrows in amusement.
“We’ll have everything delivered in a couple of weeks.” Her smile couldn’t get bigger.
Thanking them, Tommy and Y/N stepped outside the boutique, she wanted to stretch her legs so bad.
“How did your meeting go?”
“Boring.”
He always had just a few words to say. But his eyes, said everything that was crossing his mind.
“Did you get to drink vodka and do the Russian dance?” Y/N teased.
Tommy scoffed at her sense of humor.
“He’s a liar, a buffer. He’s just a filthy lucky bastard with the right connections.”
He sighed loudly, but at least Tommy was sharing something with her. In that case it would be so easy for him to make that man show his true colors.
As he started the engine, Y/N started telling him of all the adorable things they showed her at the store, noticing the way her eyes were glowing. And he obviously preferred that kind of news instead of the one Polly was about to share.
“I’ll wait here by the fireplace.” Y/N announced, not wanting to get in the middle of the argument.
Sitting in one of the couches, she leaned her head back, rolling her feet meanwhile a few steps away, the Shelby family were discussing over whatever John had made.
“If you apologize once, you do it again and again…” Y/N heard Tommy say as she was drifting away to sleep. But she was far too gone and tired.
Feeling drained after all the things he got busy with, Tommy couldn’t wait to be home.
“You can stay over so you don’t have to drive back.” He proposed to his brother Finn, who would be driving.
But as Tommy stepped into the entry, he stopped abruptly when his eyes landed on Y/N. She was peacefully sleeping on the couch, the flames of the fireplace casting shadows over her features while one of her hands rested under her belly.
He didn’t have the heart to wake her up.
“Bring the car around.” He whispered Finn, trying to concede Y/N a few more minutes before starting the road back home.
Taking off his coat, he slid it over her frame to cover her from the cold. Tommy tried to call her in a low voice, but she only adjusted her shoulder as answer. Y/N should probably take things easier, but she was adamant to finish the charity project, she was pouring every fiber of her soul into it and wanted to make sure every single detail was perfect.
“Y/N… let’s go.” Tommy tried again softly.
Fluttering her eyes, she slowly opened them squinting in confusion by feeling Tommy touching her shoulder.
“C’mon let me help you.”
“Hmm.” She hummed barely cooperating.
She was beyond sleepy by the time they reached the car, settled taking the back seat by herself, she heard the Shelby brothers talking something about an Italian pub and a fight that would eventually happen. Tommy mentioned something about their fragile ego and sending flowers to a hospital, but Y/N couldn’t be sure because maybe it was part of her dream.
She moved across the room, smashing the fresh berries for the pie she was baking, the lovely smell feeling the small kitchen, it was a sunny day and she could hear the birds chirping, when suddenly a baby cry came to her attention. Y/N rushed then to get pick up her baby who was demanding her presence.
“It’s just fine, are you hungry?” She cooed to settle the lovely bundle wrapped in a blanket.
“How’s my ray of sunshine?” Asked her grandmother from behind, reaching over to caress the baby’s face.
“Woke up hungry.”
“You feed the baby while I finish the pie.”
When the car took a turn Y/N’s bumped something, she woke up disoriented.
“Finally I was tired of you snoring.” Tommy teased taking at look over his shoulder.
“Oh my God I don’t snore!”
“Loud and clear.” Tommy assured her. “Like a truck driver.”
Y/N gave Tommy a surprised and embarrassed look, awkwardly she tried to fix her hair since it was out of place.
Finn rushed upstairs while Mary greeted them by the door.
“Something important came up?” Tommy asked the maid.
“Just a few letters.” She gave him a nod.
“Oh, and maybe a couple of responses to the charity invitation.” Y/N wondered out loud.
“All correspondence arrived under Mr. Shelby’s name.” The maid explained, making a bit obvious that she wasn’t very fond of Y/N.
Y/N looked between Tommy and Mary, waiting.
“Go on, go check the mail.” He told her softly.
“Mr. Shelby.” Mary tried to get his attention. “The mailman thinks Miss Y/LN is Mrs. Shelby, he asked me if Mrs. Shelby had anymore invites to send off.” The maid voiced with concern.
Tommy noticed the offended tone in her voice.
“Let him think whatever he wants, Mary.” Tommy shuddered, not thinking it was important. “As long as he takes the mail.”
“But…” she tried again, then closed her mouth when Tommy gave her the look.
“That’s all, thank you Mary.” Tommy dismissed her just as Y/N entered the reading room skipping happily.
“Guess!”
Sitting, Tommy groaned. “Guess what?”
“He said yes!” Y/N explained excitedly.
“Who?” He chuckled at her happiness.
“He leader of the Birmingham City Council is going to attend the dinner.” Y/N showed him the letter back. “Everyone has said yes.”
Tommy dragged his eyes from the piece of paper, towards Y/N.
“Ah.” Suddenly she got the energy of a kid, it was the nap during the car ride did wonders to her.
“I keep changing the menu, do you think we should offer something else?” Y/N kept explaining how she needed to send a Thank you note back to the people who had confirmed their attendance.
The charity was clearly an excellent job for her. Keeping her busy with something good whilst helping people in need and he was glad to have someone he could trust to take care of that.
“You need to remember to take this slowly, write off those notes tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.” He suggested.
“But Tommy, these things can’t wait, it takes days for the letters to be delivered and-”
“Very well then, why don’t you use the typewriter I gave you.” He cleared his throat and took a sip of his drink.
“Tom!” She chuckled. “You don’t write letters of a social occasion on a typewriter.” Y/N explained him with a smile.
“Oh, forgive me.” He raised his eyebrows.
She then went on to show him another paper. “I’ve the drawings of what they plan to do with the grounds of the institute. There’ll be an area for the children to play. Look.” He hummed in response. “And the Birmingham Charity Commission have agreed to set aside their three rotten floorboards upstairs and grant us the license within a month.”
She finally took a deep breath after managing to explain him all in record time. There was a soft smile playing on his lips and she found tenderness in his eyes.
“You’re not listening to me.” Y/N sentenced.
Tommy leaned forwards. “Yes I am. I am.”
“You think I’m becoming obsessed?” Y/N stopped abruptly.
A chuckle escaped Tommy’s lips. “No, as a matter of fact, I love the passion you’ve put into this project.”
“This wouldn’t be possible without you.” Y/N expressed honestly.
Tommy gave Y/N a long look, studying her features, until he finally spoke.
“I’ve something for you.” Y/N frowned confused. “I know you’ll say it’s a bit too much, but still.”
“What did you get?” She eyed him suspiciously.
“Close your eyes.” Tommy encouraged.
“Tom.”
He fixed his eyes on her, not taking a no for as answer. So she gave in, turned around and closed her eyes.
Leaning back, Tommy got something out of his pocket, holding the chain between both hands, he presented Y/N the present.
Y/N felt lost for words when she saw the necklace. “What’s this?”
“A sapphire.” He explained calmly.
The cold stone sent a shiver down her spine when it made contact with her skin. It felt heavy and strange to have a stone that bug hanging from her neck.
“I don’t know what to say.”
“A simple thank you could work.” He winked. “And before you even start, you can either wear it or keep it in the box it’s your choice.”
Y/N was still trying to process the overpriced present, never in a million years she imagined to own something like that piece of expensive jewelry.
“This is insane, but thank you.” She chuckled nervously. “Where am I even supposed to wear something like this? The charity event?”
“You can wear it to church if you want, it’s yours Y/N.”
“Goodness.” She looked down at her chest and touched the cold gemstone. “You really look for any excuse to show off your wealth, damned bastard.”
Tommy laughed loudly. “You got me.”
“I wanted to ask you to be my baby’s godfather… but you’re going to spoil the poor child.”
“Oh I think I earned that right, so you better keep considering me.”
She slapped his arm playfully, earning another laugh from him. Tommy pulled her by the arm but the sharp move caught her off guard and made her loose her balance, landing on his chest. His arms came around her waist instantly in a protective motion, and their laughs subsided as soon as they realized how close they were to each other’s faces.
Something they both didn’t know how to name ignited in that moment, suddenly her warm hands felt like burning through the layers of his clothes, his deep blue sparkled in a way she had never seen before.
Struggling to form a coherent thought, Y/N used his chest to support her arms and move back. Tommy cleared his throat just as he was trying to clear his mind.
“Sorry… I stumbled.” She tried to smooth her clothes.
“Yeah.” He noticed the blush on her cheeks.
“Better go to get s-some rest.” The words rushed out of her lips. “Have a good night.”
“Good night, Y/N.” He replied more to himself, watching her leave the room.
Taking the remains of his drink in a swing, Tommy thought how close they were of crossing a line that would change everything.

Two Hours, Eighteen Minutes
Kinktober, October 12
THIS WORK IS 18+ ! MINORS DO NOT INTERACT!
Summary:
The one where Rafe is edged for exactly two hours and eighteen minutes.
Warnings: dom/sub dynamics, domme!reader, sub!rafe, very explicit
taglist: @yagirlwrites @audzzz @valyrianflower @aariahnaa
Rafe and you haven’t been able to meet up for a couple of days now. It’s still way too early in the relationship to even think about moving in together, though a part of you can’t help but wonder what it would be like. Another part of you isn’t entirely sure if Rafe and you even like each other outside the bedroom.
The sex is incredible, no doubt—the best you’ve ever had. Your gut tells you it’s the same for him. You’d introduced him to this whole world only a couple of months ago, and so far, he’d embraced every part of it. He worships you.
Still, sex alone doesn’t make a relationship, and you can’t help but get insecure sometimes. You wonder whether he’s more enamored with the way you dominate him than who you are. But those thoughts disappear as soon as your phone rings the minute you leave your office.
“Hey, gorgeous,” Rafe’s voice rasps through your AirPods. “How did your presentation go?”
Your heart warms. He’d sent a couple of good luck texts throughout the day, but hearing his voice check in felt different—more intimate.
“It went really well,” you reply, pushing through the door and heading down the stairs. “They loved the proposal. It’s basically accepted; I’ll know by Monday.”
“Sounds great,” Rafe responds. You can almost hear the smile in his voice.
“Yeah. Thank you for checking in, babe. How’s your day?”
“Eh,” he sighs, “boring as fuck, but okay.”
“Are you off work already?” you ask, your voice turning suggestive. “I could think of a couple ways to make your day more exciting.”
“One more client,” he groans. “I could be at your place in maybe one and a half hours. Two, max.”
You grin, an idea already forming. “I’ll give you an incentive to hurry then,” you say smugly, unlocking your car. “I’m gonna time how long it takes you to get here. However long it takes, that’s how many minutes I’ll edge you tonight.”
His groan is instant, guttural. “Babe, no, you can’t do that to me.”
“Aw, I’ve done worse,” you tease, waving goodbye to your coworker in the parking lot. “Just think about how good it’ll feel when I finally let you come.”
“Fuck, babe. I’m hard already,” he admits.
You laugh softly, “Better behave for that last client then.”
“I will, I just need a second,” he chuckles.
“Maybe we should stop talking. The clock’s ticking.” And with that, you hang up, leaving him to stew in his anticipation.
#
Two hours and eighteen minutes. That’s the time he has to last tonight.
You order Rafe to sit on the couch, and he obeys without hesitation. There’s a mix of excitement and tension in his eyes as you stand over him, watching his every move.
“The only thing you need to do is obey,” you remind him with a wicked grin. “I’ll handle the rest.”
First, you tie his hands behind his back, tight but not too tight—just enough to remind him of his place. Then, you hold the ball gag in front of his mouth, giving him that familiar, expectant look. He knows the routine, so you prompt him anyway, “Remind me of your safe words and the gestures for when you’re gagged.”
He quickly shows you, and you nod approvingly. “Good boy. Open up.”
He opens his mouth willingly, and you fit the gag between his lips, securing it behind his head. Then you grab the blindfold, wrapping it around his head and plunging him into darkness.
You move behind him, kneeling on the couch, so his back is against your chest, his body sitting between your legs. “Spread those legs wide,” you command, your voice low and firm.
He obeys, his thighs parting for you.
“Keep them spread. That’s your only job today. Keep those legs open for me.”
You set a timer on your phone and place it beside you. “Two hours and eighteen minutes,” you murmur into his ear, your breath hot against his skin. “When the timer goes off, you can come whenever you’re able.” You lean closer, lips grazing his neck. “Until then, you’re mine to play with.”
You hit start on the timer. It’s going to be a long, teasing stretch—especially since he can’t see how much time has passed. The power of control pulses through you, making you feel downright diabolical.
Leaning in, you press a soft kiss just below his ear, his sensitive spot. His cock twitches, a low moan escaping his gagged lips.
“Mmm, so responsive already,” you praise, smiling against his neck. You start by spanking his inner thighs, alternating between slow strokes and stinging slaps, enough to make his skin redden. You drag your nails across the heated flesh in between sets, making him shiver.
“Has it been two hours yet?” he manages to ask through the gag, humor barely hiding his discomfort as you land a slap dangerously close to his balls.
You smirk. “Still in a joking mood?” You slap him harder, making his legs tremble as he tries to keep them spread. You dig your nails into his thigh, watching his body strain against his binds.
"Remember," you say, your voice feigning innocence as you lightly tap his balls, "the gag is there for a reason. I don't want to hear you speak, understood?"
He nods quickly, his thighs quivering with the effort of holding himself open for you. When his knees shift in slightly, instinctively protecting his sensitive balls, you tap them harder.
“Open your legs for me,” you command. His legs fly apart immediately, and you smile. “Good boy. Keep them wide like that.”
Then, you wrap your hand around his cock, stroking slowly. He’s rock hard, his cock twitching in your hand. It doesn’t take long before he’s edging closer and closer, his body tensing with every touch. But you don’t let him have the release he’s dying for. You build him up, only to pull him back from the edge over and over.
Twenty minutes in, he’s already a moaning, trembling mess, his body on fire from your teasing. His legs start to close, just a little, betraying his struggle to hold back. You grab the paddle this time and smack his thighs, hard.
“Spread your legs,” you snap, “or I’ll make this even harder.”
His groan is loud, almost desperate, but he obeys, his knees jerking back apart. You tilt his head back by the chin to keep him upright, and then you start playing with his nipples, flicking your knuckles over the hardened buds. He whimpers, his hips bucking helplessly.
“Poor boy,” you tease, twisting his nipples harshly. “I haven’t even started on these yet.”
You work his nipples relentlessly, twisting and tugging, pulling soft, pathetic moans from his throat. You know you could make him cum just from this alone if you wanted to.
Every time his legs twitch closed, you shove them back open, spanking him hard to remind him who’s in charge. He’s been warned multiple times.
You don’t talk much during the session; your actions are enough. The control, the power—you don’t need to rile him up with words. His body is already past the point of begging, past coherent thoughts, just reacting to your every touch.
After an hour and a half, you really need to change positions. You untie him briefly and order him to kneel on the couch, his knees spread wide. Then, you bend him over, his chest and head pressed against the cushions, his ass raised high.
With his hands still tied behind his back, the position is uncomfortable, but you know it’ll help him last longer. You wrap a cock ring around his balls without warning, and he lets out a choked groan of relief—until he feels the cold lube drizzle over his hole.
“You didn’t think I’d make this easy, did you?” you ask, your voice playful as you slide the prostate massager inside him. He shakes his head, swallowing around the gag.
His body is so tense, every jerk of his hips is unnatural, his movements erratic as he fights to hold himself back.
You barely have to do anything now. Holding his cock in both hands, you run slow circles over the sensitive head, teasing him. His body is past words now. You can’t remember the last time he managed to choke out a proper “please.” All that escapes his mouth are desperate sounds—soft “oh”s and gasps of tortured pleasure.
You listen, savoring every noise, each gasp and groan. “Such pretty noises you’re making for me... am I making you feel good?”
You stroke him firmly, up and down his length, watching as his body convulses, his breathing ragged and uneven. His hips jerk upwards as the build-up of his orgasm starts again, only to sink back down onto the couch when you stop your ministrations.
You smile. This is what people mean when they say you can play someone’s body like an instrument. Every word, every touch, every slight movement—his body responds without thought. He’s a puppet, and you’re pulling the strings.
He’s so close now, but you don’t let him cum. Not yet.
“Too bad,” you coo, “you still have some time to go.” Luckily for him, it’s only another minute and a half, but he doesn’t need to know that. You resume your slow, torturous pace, keeping him on the edge. His body is trembling uncontrollably now, every muscle tensing and releasing as if he’s barely holding on.
The room is filled with the sounds of his ragged breaths, muffled whimpers, and the soft ticking of the timer. You love every second of it—watching him strain, seeing how desperate he is to let go but knowing he can’t. Not yet.
Just as you run your fingers lightly over his sensitive cock again, the timer goes off.
The sound fills the room, but Rafe doesn’t notice at first. He’s too far gone, too overwhelmed by everything you’ve done to him. When it finally registers, a sob of relief escapes him. His whole body slumps forward, barely held up by the restraints. You smile, pressing a kiss to the back of his neck.
“You made it,” you whisper, your voice filled with praise. “So, so good, babe.”
You remove the cock ring, and with just a few firm strokes, his entire body tenses again. The moans that rip from his throat are muffled by the gag as his orgasm crashes through him like a tidal wave. You can feel every tremor, every shudder, as his body shakes uncontrollably, ropes of cum spilling from his cock as you continue stroking him through it. He’s completely, utterly ruined, just how you wanted him.
When he’s finally spent, you slowly untie his wrists, careful not to let him collapse into an awkward position. You remove the blindfold and the gag, stroking his hair softly, letting him catch his breath.
“I love seeing you like this—completely ruined, all because of me,” you say with a satisfied smile as you wipe the cum from his body with a warm cloth. He’s too exhausted to respond immediately, his breathing still labored, but he manages a small chuckle.
“My brain always clocks out about halfway through,” he admits with a breathless laugh. His voice is hoarse, and you can see the openness in his eyes. It’s one of your favorite parts, how completely vulnerable and raw he is after a session like this.
“Yeah?” you ask, grinning as you lie down beside him on the couch, pulling him into your arms. “And yet you made it all the way through.”
He leans into you, his body finally relaxed, spent. “I never would’ve thought I’d love this so much,” he murmurs, a hint of awe in his voice.
You kiss his forehead gently, running your fingers through his hair. "You trust me," you say softly, "and that's everything."
A few weeks ago, he might’ve been shy or embarrassed about how deeply he’s fallen into submission, but not anymore. Now, he’s comfortable. Confident. There’s no shame, no hesitation. He knows he’s completely safe with you, that you’ll always take care of him—even when you push him to his limits.
He’s quiet for a while, just resting against you as you stroke his back, giving him the aftercare he needs. It’s a peaceful moment, a contrast to the intensity of everything that just happened. You savor it, holding him close, knowing that these quiet moments are just as important as the play itself.
Eventually, he looks up at you, his eyes filled with warmth. “Thank you,” he says, his voice soft but sincere. “For everything.”
You smile, brushing a strand of hair away from his face. “Always,” you reply. And you mean it.

Marta: Do you think we’ll need more fruit? Or… Fina: Marta, calm down, please. Everything is going to be fine. I know you’re doing this for me, and that’s what matters. Marta: Well, I’m also doing it for myself. I really appreciate your father. I want to show him how I feel. Fina: Whatever the reason, it’s not necessary, really. I appreciate it a lot. Marta: Besides, doing these kinds of things makes me feel like we’re a normal couple. Fina: Haha.
Isidro: Good morning, daughter. Fina: Hello, Father. Isidro: What are you doing here so early? Fina: Um... Marta: Good morning, Isidro. Isidro: Ah, good morning. I heard voices and thought it was my daughter talking to Teresa. Fina: We came to have breakfast with you. Marta: And since you’re such an early riser, we wanted to have everything ready for when you got up. Isidro: You’ve gone to so much trouble. Fina: Father... Isidro: Are the two of you finally going together? Is that it or not? Fina: No, be patient, please, you’re getting ahead of yourself. Marta: Don’t you prefer to talk with a coffee in hand? Fina: Yes. Father, no one’s leaving here, neither Marta alone, of course, nor me after her, which I would have done without a doubt. Marta: We’re both staying.
-Next Scene-
Isidro: So, does that mean all the doubts you had about running the company without ending up like your father and brother have been resolved? Marta: It’s true that I was tormented by the thought that ambition might consume me, but after talking with Fina, I realized that as long as she’s with me, that won’t happen. Because she’s my support, and she’s my pillar. Fina: Father, trust in us. This is a decision we’ve made together, and we want you to be a part of it. Marta: And although you may have reasonable doubts, it matters to me, it matters to us, what you think. Isidro: Marta, I want you to understand... Marta: I understand you. You don’t have to justify yourself... Isidro: No, no, let me, let me finish, please. I have to look out for my daughter. When I asked you to leave her, I looked into your eyes and knew I wasn’t being fair. Because your eyes told me that you would never abandon her, because that would be like tearing part of her soul away. Marta: That’s right.
Fina: Well, we’d better eat these scrambled eggs, or they’ll be cold. Isidro: Yes, ma'am! Scrambled eggs... You know, Kelly would say this needs a slice of pancetta. Marta: Pancetta! Fina: Look at him, seriously, there’s no excuse bad enough for him to break his diet. Isidro: Oh, for God’s sake, what a tyrant you are, daughter. Marta, help me convince her, please. Marta: No, the one I need to convince is you, to start addressing me informally... we could say... well, we’re almost family. Fina: Fruit! Father, what you need to eat is fruit! Pancetta, what pancetta? Don Damián: Good morning. Fina: Good morning, Don Damián. Isidro: Do you need something, sir? Don Damián: I was just looking for Gema or Teresa... Because we’ve run out of coffee in the dining room. Marta: There might be some left in the kitchen. Don Damián: Well, no problem, I can check. Eh… by the way, I wanted to let you know that tomorrow some technicians will come to install a television set. I mention it in case someone doesn’t want to miss the momentous occasion. Marta: Looks like we’re modernizing. Don Damián: Eh, yes. Well, Julia deserves the best welcome. *crickets* Well, I’ll stop bothering you. Enjoy your meal. Isidro: Well... is that pancetta coming or what?
-Next Scene-
Don Damián: This morning, when I saw you having breakfast with your father... Fina: Yeah, I saw your face; you were waiting for us to invite you to join, weren’t you? Don Damián: I know I can be pathetic, but yes. Fina: No, Don Damián, you’re not pathetic at all. Don Damián: It’s not your fault, but I didn’t like feeling like an outsider. Fina: In any case, it’s something you need to discuss with your daughter. Don Damián: Yes, I should talk to her, but the problem is that our communication isn’t very good right now. A family issue has come between us. Fina: Yes, Don Damián, I know. You understand that Marta is affected by it, right? Don Damián: Yes, I do. I’d like to fix things with my daughter, but I don’t know how to start. I thought maybe you could help me. Fina: What? Me? No, Don Damián, this is between you and your daughter. I don’t want to get involved or get dragged into it. I hope you understand that. Don Damián: Yes, I know I acted wrongly, Fina, and I’m very sorry, but I can’t change the past. What I want is to make amends. I’m also capable of doing good things, Fina. If Marta trusts you enough to tell you all the bad things I’ve done, she must have also told you how I burned those photos they took of you two. Remember how I made sure your father got the treatment he needed. Fina: And now you come here so I can repay you for all those favors by talking to Marta, is that it? Don Damián: No, no, no, no, please don’t misunderstand me at all. Everything I’ve done, I did from the heart, and I would do it again, Fina, a thousand times. Just as I would cover for my son again. Protecting your loved ones comes naturally to you, doesn’t it? Love is impulsive. Fina: Don Damián, please, I don’t even want to hear about it. I can’t do what you’re asking me to do. Don Damián: I just want Marta to forgive me. Is that so hard for you to understand? I beg you, Fina, give me some clue about how I can do that. Fina: Marta just wants to be herself and live accordingly, without having to justify herself, without pressure. Until you understand that, there’s not much you can do. Don Damián: I’m trying my hardest. Fina: Is that how you try? By sending me to Barcelona or talking to my father to convince me to leave? Is that how? Don Damián: That was at the beginning. You have to understand that it was very hard for me to find out about your relationship like that… all of a sudden. Fina: Don Damián, no! I’m not going to help you.

You don’t often miss work, but that week, a burst pipe throws everything off. A morning spent waiting on your landlord, then the next few hours for a plumber, has things a bit off kilter. Even the next day, you’re not quite back on point.
The patched wall next to fridge reminds you of the disaster and a dingy smell persists. You hope it doesn’t cling to you as you set off for your shift that day. If you can, you want to pick up some hours from others if their up for grabs. Harry doesn’t like Saturday’s, maybe he’ll hand over some.
You try to leave your problems behind as you catch a bus down to the city centre. You get to the tea shop five minutes before the hour. Jenna’s wrapping up the opening tasks as you go to leave your things in the back. You tie on your apron and unlock the front door for the first customers of the day.
At first, it’s a trickle. Never very much at all. The early risers who often come alone or if they aren’t, they don’t speak much or very loudly. The smell of fresh baking and the slow rising sun add to the lazy din.
“Thought the special was strawberry today,” you comment as you transfer macarons from a cooled tray to the display.
“Eh, it was but we didn’t have enough jam,” she shrugs. “Changed the sign, is all.”
“Ah, thought my mind was lagging again. Everything’s been off since yesterday.”
“Eh, how’s the apartment, anyhow? Marilyn said it was something about a leak?”
“Burst pipe,” you explain, “they took out the wall above the sink, buncha clanging all day. When I tell you this place is like heaven.”
She chuckles, “can be.”
“There’s a formal tea booked in the Marigold Room at noon,” she intones, “forgot to mention that. With Mother’s day coming up, suppose we’ll get more bookings.”
“Suppose,” you go to check the schedule hanging on the wall. “Party of twelve, wow.”
“I’ll man the till. Honest, since those ladies at New Years, I’ve hated doing them.”
“No problem, Harry should be here, shouldn’t he?”
“Well, he’s... called in.”
“Again?” You whine as you face her.
“Are you really surprised?” She scoffs.
“No one else to cover? Not even Louisa?”
“Nah, she’s on holiday still.”
You huff, “fine. Not much of a choose then, is it?”
🫖
The tea room is as close to raucous as you’ve ever heard it. You have your back to the rest of the shop as you balance the stacked serving trays with an array of sponge cake, fruit, and biscuits. It’s the typical assortment for a tea party booking.
You’ve already served the tea and the sandwiches, and dessert is the last bit, along with any further pots needed to be steeped throughout. With a partner, it isn’t hard to keep up, but alone, it’s rather overwhelming. Jenna does her best to assist but there aren’t many lulls around lunch time.
Beyond that, the tourists are chatty. You could hardly get away to fetch each course as they wanted to chat about the culture and your suggestions of what they should do next. It’s nice that they’re friendly but still stressful.
You put the trays on the cart and roll it around the counter. As you do, you nearly skid to a halt. In the rush, you hadn’t noticed him. Your eyes meet Raymond’s as he watches you. Intent, intense. You give an apologetic smile and nod in acknowledgement. Jenna wanted to deal with the main room, she’ll have to wipe down his table and do her best.
You roll behind the wall and into the Marigold room. You present the tray and grab it by the ring at the top, lifting it onto the centre of the table. You roll around to gather the empty plates and cups, taking two pots for refill.
You come back out and see Raymond standing, just as he was. He sees you too. Watching, hands folded, knuckles white, jaw set. He’s usually patient but you don’t know how long he’s been waiting.
You roll behind the counter and sigh, clearing off the cart as Jenna steams a tea latte.
“Can you wipe Raymond’s table?” You ask.
“Who?” She furrows her brow.
You glance over your shoulder toward the man in question and she follows. She rolls her eyes, “I tried, I wiped the the table. He didn’t sit.”
“Hm, well... did you wash your hands first?”
“Christ Almighty, what is he a child?”
“Jen, he’s just... you know, my mom’s the same. He can’t help it.”
“You can deal with him. I won’t be arsed,” she sniffs, “he was rude and you know I don’t got time for those ones.”
“Jenna, I’m kinda up to my eyes,” you dump the used bags from a pot. “I know he can be prickly but just wash your hands and redo the table.”
“Ugh, fine,” she sneers, “but you owe me.”
“Let’s call it even,” you retort as you pour boiling water into the pots mouth.
She shakes her head and huffs, “guess it is.”
🫖
It’s nearly three in the afternoon. It’s quiet. Harry’s on his phone instead of doing the cups and your wiping the empty tables to keep yourself moving. The door opens and you glance over to make sure Harry’s alert. He’s not.
Doesn’t matter. It’s him. Raymond. You stand and clutch the cloth tight in your hand as you greet him.
“Be right with you, Raymond,” you assure him.
He barely looks at you as he goes to wait next to his table. You go behind the counter and mutter under your breath in Harry’s direction, “...dirty cups.” You wash your hands and make sure to clink some of the empty porcelain in an effort to draw your coworker’s attention. He’s still entranced by his phone.
You take the disinfectant wipes and go back out. You approach Raymond as he checks his watch.
“How are you today?” You ask.
He grumbles and shrugs, “fine.”
“English Breakfast, black,” you declares as you finish wiping up, “usual.”
“So you remember,” he challenges as he steps close, closer than ever, before sidling around to sit.
“Of course, I always do,” you smile.
“And last time?”
“Last time...”
“Twice.”
You’re confused. What is he talking about?
“I came on Tuesday and you weren’t here. Then on Thursday, you didn’t even say hello.”
“Oh, well, I’m sorry, Raymond, it was a busy day. Tuesday, I had a personal emergency so I didn’t even know you’d been in--”
“I’ll have my tea now,” he interjects tersely.
“Right, tea,” you confirm and spin around.
“Crooked strings,” he remarks dully, “again.”

You dragged yourself into the WarZone’s flagship storefront in Midtown a few hours later than normal for a Saturday, but you’d wanted to get a couple of extra hours of sleep after Bucky had left this morning. You honestly couldn’t believe you had been up all night having mind blowing sex with a man you had just met.
Your first thought upon waking up that morning was that he had left in the early pre-dawn hours, but those fears were cast aside as soon as you registered the weight of his arm around your midsection, tucking you against him. Then, you were hit with the concern that he was going to think you were just an easy lay and decide he never wanted to see you again, but to your immense surprise, he’d asked you to have dinner with him that same night. You’d have to be a fucking idiot to have said no.
“Uh oh, someone’s tardy,” said your office assistant, Zadie, as you finally made your way into work. “You’re lucky the boss isn’t here to see you show up late, Major.” She grinned at you, and you stuck your tongue out at her. “Ha, ha. Very funny, Zade,” you said, picking up the pile of mail that had been placed on your desk and beginning to sort through it. “Good thing the boss and I are tight; I think she’ll let it slide.”
“Oh, look who decided to finally show up,” came the voice of the location’s manager, Rand, as he came out of one of the rage rooms. He turned to Zadie. “Either you or I had the audacity to come in three hours late, we wouldn’t hear the end of it.”
You rolled your eyes at your friend and longtime employee. “Yeah, well, come back at me when it’s your name signing the paychecks, okay, Rand?”
“Relax,” he said, “we’re just giving you shit for the fun of it. So what’s the deal? You have a hot date last night or something?”
“I thought you said you were going out to get drinks with Natasha?” Zadie asked.
You slid down into your desk chair, wiggling your mouse to wake up your computer. “I did,” you told her. “Wait,” said Rand, coming over to sit on the edge of your desk. “Like, Natasha Romanoff, our hottest customer? That Natasha?”
“That would be her,” you said, not really paying him much attention as you navigated to your work emails and took a sip of the coffee you’d brought with you to keep yourself awake.
“Oh. My. God,” Rand said, beaming at you. “Major, did you hook up with an Avenger last night?!”
You choked on the sip you’d just taken. “How in the hell did you figure that out, Rand?!” you asked, astonished.
“You had sex with the Black Widow?!” Zadie exclaimed. “Major, that is amazing! How was she? Oh my god, I bet she was fantastic!” Your friend sighed. “She looks like she knows what to do with her tongue.”
Pinching the bridge of your nose, you tried to get a word in edgewise. “I did not have sex with Natasha,” you clarified when the two finally let you talk. They looked at you expectantly. “I had sex with Bucky Barnes,” you confessed, hiding your face in your hands to hide your grin and your blush.
Zadie and Rand stared at you silently, their mouths hanging open in disbelief. “What?” you asked them,
after the silence had stretched on a little too long.
“You fucked the Winter Soldier?” Rand asked eventually in a monotone. “Do you have a death wish, or are you fucking insane?”
“Major, did you not follow his trial?” Zadie asked you. “It was all over the news, like, four and a half years ago.”
You swallowed and shook your head. You most certainly had not followed his trial; you’d been a little preoccupied getting divorced and hadn’t been in a frame of mind to be paying much attention to the media.
“He was convicted for, like, a bunch of murders and crimes against humanity and shit,” Zadie said.
You felt your heart plunge into your stomach. Of course, the first guy you really connected with since your divorce, who had blown your mind with his bedroom skills, was a convicted murderer. Of fucking course.
But then a thought hit you– “If he was convicted for all that,” you said, thinking it over, “how is he not in prison? I mean, he’s a friend of Nat’s; fuck, he’s best buddies with Captain Freaking America; and Steve Rogers doesn’t strike me as the kind of guy to just casually chill with serial killers.”
“He got a Presidential pardon,” Rand explained. “There were supposedly extenuating circumstances. But, I mean, it was just sex. It’s not like you’re gonna start dating the man or anything, right?”
You stayed silent, avoiding looking Rand in the eye.
“Right, Major?” he asked you pointedly. “Just say ‘Of course I would not date the convicted felon, Rand. I value the preservation of my life’.”
“You said there were extenuating circumstances,” you responded. “What were they?”
“What, is his dick, like, magic or something?” Zadie asked, eyeing you suspiciously.
“Among other things,” you answered sheepishly.
Rand threw his hands up in the air. “For fuck’s sake,” he shouted. “It’s like she wants to be a Dateline episode!”
“I just don’t want to pass judgment without knowing all the facts,” you told him. “Or giving him a chance to explain himself.” They both looked at you skeptically. “Guys, he just… He just doesn’t seem like that kind of person! He’s an Avenger, for crying out loud! Tasked with saving the world! Do you really think they’d let him join them if he was a dangerous criminal? Seriously?”
Zadie and Rand exchanged a glance, as if silently communicating that you’d lost your mind.
“You know what?” you asked, exasperated. “It’s my life. If I want to go out with him, I’m gonna go out with him, and you guys just have to accept that.”
“We’re just tryna look out for you, boss,” Zadie said softly. “It worries us.”
You felt your annoyance with them dampen somewhat. “I appreciate that, guys. But I’m a grown ass adult with combat training. I can take care of myself.”
“Yeah, but he’s–” Rand began, but you interrupted him. “I’m done talking about it, Rand,” you said pointedly. “Now, Zadie, I need you to contact the Queens branch and tell them to add the name ‘Peter Parker’ to our VIP list, no charge.”
Zadie nodded and moved to pick up the phone.
“And Rand,” you said, turning back to face him, “if I do decide that I want to start dating Bucky, that’ll mean you might see him around here. You don’t have to go out of your way to be friends with him, or even be around him, but if your paths do cross, I ask that you remain civil, please.”
Rand nodded. “If you can guarantee he won’t murder me,” he said.
You rolled your eyes and shook your head dismissively. You were going to have to dig in to Bucky’s history to find out exactly what he’d been convicted for, and what, exactly, these “mitigating circumstances” had been.

Hands Where I Can See Them, Part 12 (End!)
Pt 1 | Pt 2 | Pt 3 | Pt 4 | Pt 5 | Pt 6 | Pt 7 | Pt 8 | Pt 9 | Pt 10 | Pt 11 | Ao3
[Warning for brief references to sex; nothing explicit happens]
-
For the first time in a long time, Steve wakes slowly.
His alarm isn’t blaring at him and neither is his brain; it’s quiet, and the room is filled with morning sun, and Steve is warm, and comfortable, and still a little muzzy with the heavy sort of sleep that usually only comes to him when he’s physically exhausted or feeling safe (usually the former).
He blinks at the blurry mess of color that is his wallpaper and tries to remember what day it is, tries to will himself to get up, because he’s sure there’s something he’s supposed to be doing, but it’s hard. He’s so comfortable. He turns his face further into his pillow, pressing in where it’s warm and firm and– breathing.
Steve sits up.
Beside him, Eddie is still asleep, lying sprawled across the mattress with one arm flung half over the side and the other stretched out where it had been curled around Steve’s back before Steve pulled away. There’s a red mark on his chest where Steve’s head had been resting, and he’s sure there’s a corresponding splotch of red on his cheek.
As the sleepy fog finally lifts from his brain, the previous night filters back in, and Steve can’t help the smile that follows. He shifts a little just to feel the pleasurable ache in his muscles, to feel the warmth of the cocoon of sheets around them, to feel the way the mattress dips beneath the weight of a second body, and sighs contentedly.
He’s just considering lying back down when Eddie groans, a drowsy frown pulling at his face.
“Where’d you go?” he asks, eyes still closed (at least, Steve’s sure that’s what he means to ask; it comes out a little more like “Whrd y’go?”, and he’s pleased that his ability to decipher Eddie’s half-awake mumbling hasn’t suffered in its absence of use).
“I didn’t go anywhere, I’m right here,” Steve says, laying his palm over Eddie’s chest and running his thumb along the ridge of his collarbone.
Eddie hums, bringing his hand up from over the edge of the bed to place it over Steve’s. “‘s too early to be awake,” he mutters, a little more coherent this time. “Come back.”
“It’s not even that early. It’s…” Steve ducks and squints a little to bring his alarm clock into focus, everything still a little blurry without his contact lenses in. “Holy shit, it’s past ten.”
“See? Early.” Eddie reaches up with his free hand to pat around for a hold on Steve’s arm so he can tug at him. “Lay back down.”
“I never sleep this late, what the hell,” Steve mutters, and Eddie finally opens his eyes, giving Steve a grin that’s equal parts sleepy and self-satisfied.
“Wore you out, didn’t I?” he asks.
“Oh, yeah, I’m exhausted,” Steve deadpans, before proceeding to flop back down onto Eddie’s chest, smirking at the little ‘oof’ he earns. “I don’t know if I can even move. Hope you don’t have to pee anytime soon.”
Eddie shrugs. “Eh, if I do, it’s your bed, not mine.”
“Ew. Dude.” Steve props himself back up on his elbow in order to wrinkle his nose at Eddie.
“You’re the one who brought it up,” Eddie says with a smirk, and – shit, Steve’s really missed this.
Eddie is one of the only people in the world Steve feels like he can completely be himself around. He’s second only to Robin (everyone will always be second to Robin, that’s just a given), and that’s what had devastated Steve most when he’d heard what Eddie had to say about their relationship. He thought he’d let Eddie see all of him, and Eddie hadn’t seen anything worth wanting.
Worth loving.
But that, apparently, hadn’t quite been the case.
“Hey,” Eddie calls Steve’s attention back, picking his hand up off his chest to press a kiss to the back of it. “Where’d you go?”
No, that hadn’t been the case at all.
Steve shakes his head. “Nowhere,” he promises. “I’m right here.”
He leans down for a kiss, and Eddie pulls their combined hands aside to meet it, bringing his free hand up to curl into Steve’s hair, cradling the back of his head.
It isn’t as though all the hurt has healed – all of Steve’s doubts and insecurities haven’t magically disappeared. As much as Steve might wish, it isn’t as though the last several weeks never happened. They can’t change any of that now, but Eddie’s honesty, his openness– openness from them both will take them a long way forward.
The idea still sits as a bit new to Steve: honesty. He’s used to people saying one thing and doing another. He’s used to being expected to decipher convoluted social cues and having to intuit unspoken messages. He’s used to not being allowed to ask for what he wants and just accepting whatever he’s given.
This, he thinks, will be better.
The kiss doesn’t end so much as it slides into another, and another, until Eddie and Steve have rolled to their sides, legs tangled together beneath the blankets, mouths sliding against one another, lazy and unhurried. There’s a hint of heat beneath their movements, something that could spark into more if they let it, but Steve is content with just this for now. There will always be time for more later.
Eddie hums deep in his chest when the kisses trail to an end, voice still warm and sleep-rough, and Steve rests his forehead against Eddie’s, unwilling to go too far away just yet.
“Good morning,” Steve says when Eddie opens his eyes again, and he can feel the puff of Eddie’s sigh against his lips.
“Don’t say that,” Eddie whines. “If you say that, we have to get up.”
Steve gives a little laugh. “We can’t stay in bed all day, Eddie.”
“Sure we can,” Eddie drawls, pushing at Steve’s shoulder until he takes the hint and rolls onto his back, only to have Eddie lay down on top of him, pressing him into the mattress. “In fact, I think that’s a great idea.”
“Do you seriously have no other plans for the day?” Steve asks, as if he has any pressing engagements himself.
Eddie presses a kiss to the base of Steve’s throat, humming thoughtfully. “Maybe one or two,” he says, trailing a few more kisses up the side of Steve’s neck.
“Besides that,” Steve huffs, though he makes no move to stop Eddie when his hand comes to rest on the waist of Steve’s pajama pants.
“What am I, an event planner?” Eddie asks, but he does pull away from Steve’s neck with a petulant (and largely exaggerated) sigh. “Fine. How about we stay in bed most of the day and then… we can go back to mine for dinner?”
Steve looks up at Eddie, brows drawing together as he thinks. “What’s at yours that we’d need for dinner?”
Eddie shrugs. “Nothing, really. It’s just been a while,” he says quietly.
And– well, it has. Eddie’s trailer used to be one of the places Steve had felt most comfortable, but he hasn’t spent more than a few minutes there in passing since he’d emptied it of his things. He misses it there – how warm and welcoming it always was, how he’d felt like he belonged there.
What if he goes back now and it’s changed? What if he feels as out of place there now as he does in his own house?
He must spend a moment too long thinking about it, because Eddie begins to backpedal.
“But if you don’t want to, we totally don’t have to, we can just–”
“No,” Steve cuts in. “Let’s go to yours for dinner.”
A slow-growing smile pulls across Eddie’s face, and Steve can tell he’s fighting the urge to duck and hide it.
“Wayne misses you, y’know,” Eddie says, and now it’s Steve who’s ducking away from eye contact.
“Misses my cooking, I bet,” he jokes, but Eddie shakes his head.
“Misses you. He does like you, Steve. He asked where you were, after– after everything,” Eddie says, and Steve isn’t sure what the hell he’s supposed to say to that, or if he even can speak around the sudden, weird choke of emotion in his throat. Eddie, as if he can sense his dilemma, saves Steve from having to respond. “He misses your cooking too, though, let’s be real. He had the audacity to tell me the other day that my mac and cheese isn’t as good as yours. It was your recipe!”
Steve laughs, and Eddie really plays up the offense.
“And you know the worst part? He was right,” Eddie laments. “It’s the same recipe, how does that even work?”
“So, what I’m hearing is that you want me to come to your house and cook you dinner,” Steve teases, smirking up at Eddie.
Eddie subsides just a little, packing away his theatrical energy in order to smile back down at Steve. “I just want you to come over. I’ll order dinner if you want. Hell, I’ll submit myself to public ridicule and try cooking for you again.” He cups Steve’s cheek in one hand and leans in to kiss him gently. “Whatever you want, Steve, I’m there.”
“Yeah?” Steve asks, quiet, almost breathless with the depth of Eddie’s promise.
“Yeah,” Eddie answers, his smile as ridiculous and smitten as the look on Steve’s own face must be. “I’m right here with you.”
And Steve decides he likes the sound of that. He likes it very much.

Thank you to everyone who gently threatened me encouraged me to continue the first part of this story, it's been so fun to write and to see everyone interact with! You've all been very kind, and I hope the ending satisfies <3

I kneeled naked, awaiting for my husband to return from my mom’s house.
I was not allowed to join this time.
I was certain they were having fun.
I thought about how I may well never know that they did that night.
If I ask I might get my mouth soaped.
So I would have to see if he chose to tell me.
I squirmed my thighs together rubbing my clit against my labia.
I was wet.
I knew he knew I would be.
I heard a car door and our dog barking.
He was home.
He walked in. At first he did not acknowledge me.
“Did you have a nice time being here denier, slut?” He asked.
“Yessir” I said subtly.
“I know that you sometimes get really in your head when you’re alone. Are you ok?” He asked.
He is thoughtful in his dominance, even when demolishing me.
“Yessir, I am ok. Thank you” I said.
“Do you have anything you want to ask me?” He said
My mind raced.
Yes. A million things.
What did you do?
How was it?
What was she wearing?
How many times?
Did I come up? Are there new plans for me in it?
Did you save some for me?
All I could say was, “Did you have a nice time?”.
Ugh.
“Haha yes. It was much needed. She sends her regards.” He said as he threw a sexy pair of panties at me. I could feel their wetness when they struck my face/neck.
I didn’t dare move.
“Hard to believe we are about to have an adult child around, eh?”
Why is he bringing this up? Maybe he’s excited to have the house back to ourselves when they move out so that I can burn all my clothes?
“Yeah, I like the privacy we get as they start to get older.” I said.
“You think he is kinky? You think he’s explored sexuality well?”
“I…don’t know…”
“I think is an important part of life. If he hasn’t discovered it on his own he may benefit from it being taught to him”
“Yeah haha too bad there isn’t a fetish class at that college he will be going to eh?” I said. Oblivious to what was really going on.
“I think he has had all the instruction he needed just a few walls away his whole life”
“Yeah. We really do have a lot of fun and play deeply”
“It would be a shame if he never does in life. I wonder what he would say to being taught this all through us?”
“Maybe we should ask him if he would like to, sir” I said half joking.
“That’s exactly what I was thinking!”
Huh? Really? My mind racing now.
“Oh?” I asked.
“Yeah. Leave it up to him. Offer to teach and show and allow him to participate. Offer to continue to keep him entirely in the dark also if he prefers. Of course, for your part I would need your consent”
I loved the idea and could feel myself becoming wet again. But how do I say this out loud?
“Uh…well….” I mustered.
“Maybe your pussy will help you here. Wetness check!”
I knew just what that meant.
I moved face down ass up.
Quickly.
He would be checking my pussy for arousal.
My mom’s panties fell off me as I did.
“Just as I suspected. You’re dripping. Is this from your mom or from this new idea with T (I will call him T through the stories)?”
“….Both” I said. Embarrassed by the truth and by my wetness check.
“Very well. We can tomorrow”
(The rest of that night in another story)
The next day, T came home early and nobody else was home other than T, my husband and I.
We were in the dining room.
“Hey, T, this may seem totally out of the blue and I want you to know you have total control on the conversation. If you want it to stop it absolutely can and will.
I know we spoke about the birds and the bees forever ago.
You may already know, but there is much more to sexuality than just sex?”
“You mean like fetish? Like bdsn or whatever?” T said, looking at me.
“M, but yes. Like that. It really can be a beautiful part of people’s identities when done well. Have you explored it any?”
“No, not really” T said.
“Have you been curious?” My husband asked.
“Honestly, yeah. A lot” T said coyly.
“Your mother and I are very experienced in it. We’ve hidden it from you all, but now that you’re of age, we are happy to me more open about it with you if you would like?” He offered.
My mind started to race. What all would this lead to? I do some very degrading things….I started to picture myself in my different roles in front of them both. I started to tingle.
“Open?” He asked.
“Yeah, you could merely hear about it, ask questions, you could see, or you could participate if you wanted.” He said.
There was a pause.
“Or, you could know absolutely nothing about any of it. We respect that too” my husband added.
“No no!” T chimed in. “Maybe we start with talking and seeing and I can decide if I want to participate more from there?” He said
“Sure! We can do that.” My husband said, excitedly. “Are you ok with starting now?”
“I think so…” T said
“Lesson one: consent is very important. I think so is not firm consent to me. I’m not pressuring you. It’s your call. But make it either way. If you need to process this we can wait” my husband said.
“I consent to starting to see and know about it now.” T said firmly.
“Very well! Well, your mother is my submissive. She is obedient and does things that I demand. I do not abuse my power and she does have a safe word. What is your safe word, dear?”
My mind was going 50,000 places.
“Halt” I said, embarrassed.
“If I do things she is actually not ok with she may say halt and the play will stop” he explained.
“What kind of things do you make her do?” T asked, seeming to get more into it.
“Well, honestly, she’s overdressed. I do not allow her this modesty as my sub. Are you ok with her assuming her position now? Meaning she will be exposing herself.”
“I am” T said.
“Strip and assume your slave position”. My husband said.
I couldn’t believe it was happening. My pussy was so wet but I know I was trembling.
I reluctantly took off my shirt. I had a nice bra on expecting it may be shown.
I very slowly pulled down my pants.
“You’re taking too long. You want him to see you punished in the first 5 minutes of knowing you as a sub?” My husband said.
“No, sir” I said. I quickly unhooked my bra and removed it.
I could feel T’s eyes staring at my mommy milkers. My nipples couldn’t hide my enjoyment.
I had on a thong. A milf thong as I call them. Mature-ish. Neutral. Comfortable. But a thong.
I slid it off quickly.
I stood before him now, naked as could be. Pussy exposed. Ass exposed. Boobs exposed. I felt him looking everywhere.
I kneeled to my slave position. On the floor hands in my lap.
“Do you enjoy seeing her exposed like this?” My husband asked.
“I do.” T said. His voice a little shaky.
“Do you enjoy being exposed like this? Don’t lie. I will wetness check you” my husband said.
“Yes, sir” I admitted embarrassingly.
“Do you wish to see and know more?” My husband asked
“I do.” T said.
To be continued.
I do sell stories. And pics and videos. And chatting and sexting. HMU if you’re interested:)

Tickle Fight
Kabru & Laios
Tumblr media
A/N: A little thingie I made in my phone notes while traveling. These two are so cute hehe. I hope I got rid of all the auto corrects and typos....
Summary: Kabru's biggest mistake of the day = agreeing to have a tickle fight with Laios. Who in the right mind would actually...?! (Also on AO3)
Word Count: 1.1K
Tumblr media
Oh god. Oh no. Run! Hide! Get help - aaaaah!
“Gu-gu-guuuuys?! Anyone?! Why aren’t you helping me?!” Kabru desperately clung to Rin's arm, panicked and out of breath.
She gave him a cold stare and didn’t even budge. “Huh? You agreed to it yourself. Go have fun.”
So cold! Kabru looked around and ran towards Marcille. She was studying her book and together with Senshi looked into how they could give their meal some more effects to boost their health, magic and strength, and didn't seem interested in helping him.
“I told you Laios isn’t someone to have tickle fights with. He gets way too into it,” Marcille said without looking away from her book.
Everyone else was also casually working on dinner and no one would even bother protecting him! Wah!
“B-but! I couldn’t say no!” Kabru cried, remembering how gentle Laios looked when he made the suggestion.
“Here he comes. I’d run if I were you,” Chilchuck said. Kabru looked over his shoulder to see Laios approaching with terrifying speed and determination. He already caught up!
“N-n-no, Laios, can I still surrender -?” Nope. There wasn’t even time to surrender. Laios was like a huge excited dog, tackling him down as if he were ready to lick him all over his face. If only that was the case, Kabru wouldn’t even mind.
“Gayaahaaaaaa hahahaha Laiahahaa!” he howled hysterically as soon as Laios started to tickle him.
"Tickle fight, commence!" Laios sang, and all Kabru could do at this point was squeal and giggle.
"Nohoho Lahhahaios whaha-wahahahait!"
When he and Laios finished their cooking duty early due to their competitive spirit - who could chop the vegetables fastest? - Laios challenged him to a fun tickle fight immediately after, just to kill time until dinner.
“Come on, it’ll be fun!” he said. Though hesistant, Kabru responded with “eh s-sure…”, not knowing this would transform Laios into an enormous tickle fanatic right away. There was no chance to back down now. He was stuck.
“Laahahahaios! Nohoho! Stah-ahahah!” Kabru laughed, suffering from the relentless tickle attack.
“Come on. Aren’t you going to tickle me back?” Laios asked eagerly, but instead of granting Kabru any good chance to do so, he caught both his flailing arms and pinned them over his head using only one hand.
“YOU WOULDN’T!” Kabru expressed his disbelief, thinking Laios couldn’t possibly tickle him while he was in this helpless position, but oh he really did.
“WAAHHAAH! Hehehehehelp! Aaaaaah!” Kabru squealed hysterically, his legs kicking and his head shaking desperately, but nothing he did convinced Laios that tickling his vulnerable underarm, ribs and side while pinning his arms down was truly a monstrous thing to do.
“Look, Mr. Monster Lover has turned into one himself!" Kabru could barely hear Chilchuck's voice through his own laughter but he definitely heard that part and agreed.
“A tickle monster alright,” Senshi laughed before tasting the stew he was making.
“Hmm, needs more herbs.”
“Nah, I’m not a monster! I’m just really good at tickle fights,” Laois said proudly while he clawed up and down Kabru's exposed and helplessly vulnerable torso.
!!! This wasn’t a tickle fight in the slightest! It was a massacre!
“Plehehease nooooohoho! I gihihive!”
“What was that? Give what? You’ll give it your all? Sure! Come at me!” Laios said excitedly. He did release Kabru’s arms there, only to start squeezing his sides with both hands.
Kabru arched his back and cackled for his life. “I cahahahan’t! Releeeease meehehe!“
He reached for the hands executing the horrors and tried to pry them off his ticklish body, but he was just no match for Laios and his abnormal energy. All Kabru could do was laugh and flail.
“Ahahaha! It tickles- hehehe nahahaha!”
“It does? I’m glad!” Laios replied merrily, and he dug into Kabru’s ticklish sides with terrifying enthusiasm. Kabru thought he was going to die.
… Was that possible?
Kabru was just going over the possibility of death by tickles, when the attack stopped suddenly. He opened his teary eyes and saw Rin and Marcille. Each held one of Laios’ arms, forcefully stopping his tickle attack on Kabru.
“O-oh! Hello there,” Laios said, and Kabru flinched when he wiggled his fingers eagerly despite being unable to move his arms.
“Are you joining the tickle fight?” Laios asked. Baffled that he would still give this slaughter such a term, Kabru crawled backwards and gasped for air.
“Yes? You okay?” Rin asked, and as if they had agreed on this beforehand, she and Marcille both pulled Laios’ arms back, forcing him on his back with a surprised yelp.
“What is happening now?” he asked, not even bothering to struggle yet.
“Kabru’s turn to tickle you back! I felt anxious hearing his cries,” Rin huffed, using her knees to pin Kabru’s arm down. Marcille nodded.
“You are too much, Laios! Learn when enough is enough!”
The blond blinked and sputtered: “E-eh eh? Whaha- what? Hey! That’s not fair! Let go of me!” He kicked his legs dramatically.
“Very fair. Kabru, go ahead!” Kabru felt conflicted only for a split second; he didn’t like to have their sympathy. He felt embarrassed and humiliated, yes. But seeing Laios blushing already and squirming helplessly, ready to be at his mercy. Well… How could he resist?
“Good... Time for round 2 of this…. Tickle fight,” Kabru said, and while he would’ve loved to hear Laios’ desperate pleas before starting, he just couldn’t wait.
“NO- nonono aaahahahah lehehehet me gooooaahaha!” he shrieked when Kabru already tickled him. He only just started and barely touched him. He was that sensitive huh!
“Looks like the tickle monster is quite ticklish himself. Also, Dinner is almost ready,” Senshi announced.
“No it isn’t! Take your time!” Marcille said, and that was the last bit of normal conversation that could be heard before Laios exploded in a loud, hilarious and hysterical laughing fit.
"KAHAHABRU!! Fohohorgihihive mehehe! MAhha-Mahaharcille lehehet go- aahaahah!"
Kabru was truly amazed that someone as ticklish as Laios, was such a fan of tickle fights.
"You're unbelievable," he muttered with a smile, and while he continued to tickle Laios, he analyzed every reaction, experimented on every tickle spot he could think of, and had a blast until they could finally eat dinner.
And well, they both did learn their lesson. Laios learned that he was a little too intense and behavior like that earned a proper revenge. And Kabru, he learned to not just accept any tickle fight challenge from Laios.
Although... He stared at Laios who, despite getting tickled to death just now, cheerfully munched on his food. Kabru blushed and covered his mouth to hide his smile.
To be honest, Kabru wouldn't really mind trying again. One day, he would be strong enough to beat Laios on his own, in a fair tickle fight!

My brother's best friend
Reader x Dean Winchester
Warnings: smut 16+, jealousy,...
Side note: English isn’t my first language.
Words: 3538
Y/N and Sam known each other from college, Y/N introduced him to Jess. Sam considered her to be one of his best friends. While the brothers are on a hunt she ran into them, they decide to ask her for help. Dean at first doesn’t trusts her but the more he sees Sam hanging out with her the more he starts to appreciate her. Until he realises, he might actually have feelings for the normal girl who seems to be only interested or liking his younger brother.

*note: Picture this in the early seasons with a time jump. The story may not always follow the supernatural timeline*

Tumblr media
*Not my GIF*
-----------------------
Sam and Dean were sitting at the diner, while Dean was stuffing his face with what he claimed to be the best burger ever, Sam was trying to find out where these symbols came from. “I’m telling you Dean we need to go talk to an expert about these hieroglyphics.” Dean looked annoyed “And I think those have nothing to do with this case Sam. Just a werewolf haunting that farm.”
“Sam? Sam Winchester is that you?” The brothers looked up towards the sound of her voice. “Oh, hi Y/N.” He stood up and gave her a hug. “Dude, do you ever stop growing!” She joked while accepting the tallest Winchester’s hug. Sam laughed “Sit down with us. How are you, w-what are you doing here?”
“Well, I eh...” Y/N noticed the confused face Dean was making at her and Sam. “Oh, Dean this is Y/N a friend from college, Y/N this is Dean my older brother.” - “Hi nice to meet you.” Y/N said. “Yeah, hi.” Dean answered still a little confused. Y/N turned back to Sam. “So, I eh am looking for a new job. Todd and I left California after I graduated, you remember him, right?” Sam nodded “I became a history and art-history teacher at the local high school in Reno. But eh, Todd and I split up a couple of months ago, and I have been on a self-empowering road trip ever since. But I’m running out of money so, hence the job search.”
“Y/N, here major History back at Stanford.” Sam said exited to Dean, “And did an extra course in art history.” Y/N told Sam. While Dean made a oh really, I don’t care look. “So, eh what about you?” She turned back to Sam. “Kind of the same, road trip since...” He answered quiet looking down. Y/N grabbed his hand. “I miss her too.” She said sincerely. Dean broke the silents “Well, I’m going to...” He pointed to the restrooms. “Your brother doesn't seem to like me.” Y/N said while following Dean with her eyes. “He’s just not good with meeting new people.” They talked a little more, Dean walked back from the toilets seeing his brother laugh at something Y/N just said. When he got to the table Y/N stood up. “Well, it was really nice to see you again Sam.” Y/N wrote something on a napkin. “If you are planning on staying in town a little longer... and you want to, I don’t know, talk or hang out, text me, here is my new number.” She hugged Sam goodbye and threw a cute little smile at Dean.
“Do you ever stop growing” Dean said in a high-pitched voice mocking Y/N while walking to the car. “Really Dean? Y/N is a nice person, she was the first friend I had at Stanford, she introduced me to Jess.” “Well, if she is so great maybe she can help you with your little riddle.” he pointed to his laptop bag. Sam rolled his eyes “For once a girl doesn’t flirt with you but talks to me instead and you get all fuzzed.” - “I’m not fuzzed Sammy, I’m cautious, I don’t know her, I don’t trust her.”

Later that night.
Dean heard a knock on the motel room door. He answered it with a gun against back of the door, while Sam was sitting on his bed trying to find out more about the symbols.
“Y/N? What are you doing here.” “Eh, Sam texted me? He needed help with something he said.” Y/N looked Dean up and down, “may I come in or do I need to help him out here?” Dean looked at Sam taking a step back. “Didn’t think you would text me this quick. Missed me already?” She joked taking of her jacket. “No, eh I wanted you to take a look at these symbols.” He turned his laptop to Y/N. “Hieroglyphics, you asked me to come here to look at hieroglyphics?” She looked confused at the youngest brother.
They both heard Dean chuckle. Smooth move Sammy, he thought, text the girl an address of a motel she would immediately think she was needed for her brains. Y/N took a seat next to Sam on his bed. “What do you need to know?” She crossed her legs. “Well, can you translate these or find out what they mean?” - “If I have the right tools yeah sure, but not out of the top of my head. Why do you guys need to know this?” She looked back and forward between the brothers. Dean sighs he got up “Just tell me what you need, I’ll get it.” Y/N made a list with books she needed. With Dean gone she turned to Sam again looking for an explanation. After a little push from her Sam told Y/N about the family business and the latest case.
Within the hour Dean got back presenting the books she needed. “How did you get these?” - “The library.” - “At this hour?” - “Don’t ask.” He smiled his perfect grin at her. Dean took a seat in the chair at the table watching his brother and Y/N working like a perfect team. But after a while Sam dozed off leaven just Y/N to research. By morning both of the brothers were asleep. “GOT IT” Y/N yelled, waking Dean and Sam up very abrupt. “Hear this, it’s some old Egyptian curse or spell to trap the god Anubis. He was usually represented as a jackal or as a man with the head of a jackal. Their association with death and funerals comes from jackals scavenging around cemeteries. Now the strange part is that Anubis normally cares about the desisted, he was like the patron god for embalmers. He wasn’t a murderer.”
“Jackal, that would explain the bite marks and removing the heart.” Dean said to Sam. ‘How do we break the spell.” Sam asked Y/N “I don’t know, I never knew gods excited, let alone you could trap them!” Y/N said panicking slightly. “But, eh fun fact, the heart is key in Egyptian culture, it needs to be pure. When someone dies Anubis weighs it and if it’s light enough, they could go to Yaru, pretty much their heaven. If it’s heavier they feed you to Ammit.” She looked at the boys then continued. “The eh spells normally is carved on the skin of the person who tries to control Anubis, to tie him down on their own flesh, but that only works until they die. But these are carved on property.” Dean packed his bag, we need to get to that farm before any more people get hurt. “You.” He pointed at Y/N, “find out how to stop this.”
A little later Sam’s phone rang. The boys were still in the car. ”Y/N, you’re on speaker.”
“There is no way to kill this god, but there is a way to stop him. You need to find who carved those symbols. He or she needs to use their own blood to undo the curse. They need to wipe their blood over the symbol and pray to Anubis to weight their heart as a sacrifice for the dead he caused, I’ll send you the translated text. Then you need to burn that spell before someone else uses it or copies it.
After a long time, the brothers came back to the motel room. Y/N got up, “D-did it work?” She asked unsure of her translation skills. Dean nodded. “Good work Y/N.” Sam said. They all sat down for a second. Only now the reality started to kick in. “So, all the fairytales and horror stories are, real.” Y/N said defeated looking at her feet. “Well, before I go, is there a 101 starters kit I need to travel with from now on?” She asked lifting her up from the bed. Dean laughed for the first time sincere and handed you the salt. “What is this?” Y/N looked confused at him. “I’ll explain it on the way to your car.” Sam smiled. “Maybe... Y/N needs to sleep first before hitting the road.” Dean interrupted. “She had been working day and night.”
That was the start of them working together. It started out as an occasionally call to Y/N for information or a translation. Even Dean started to call her for help, or that is what he says to himself. The boys recent found the bunker. “Well, I know who would be thrilled with this archive.” Dean said looking over to his brother. “You mean Y/N? Why don’t you invite her? I’m sure you would like to see her again.” Sam said, knowing very well his brother liked her a little more than he would admit. “Pff, she is your friend, you call her.” He said trying to brush it off. “Are you sure?” Sam asked grinning, holding his phone out to Dean. “Ok, fine.” He huffed taking the phone.
“SAMMY! It’s been too long, how are you friendly giant!” Y/N answered her phone way more enthusiastic than when she answerers Dean’s calls. “Eh, no it me.” Dean answered feeling jealous. “Oh, hi Dean, is everything ok?” Y/N asked worried. “Yes, why wouldn’t it be?” - “You’re calling with Sam phone?” - “Oh yeah, no I eh, we were just talking and... would you like to come over? If you have nothing better to do off course.” - ”Sure, text me the address.” They hang up the phone. And before Dean could turn around his brother laughed “Smooth, very smooth Dean.” - “You shut up!” The older brother answered angry and embarrassed.
Y/N parked her car, the brothers were already waiting for her outside. Dean looked at her, she was smiling from ear to ear when she walked towards Sam pulling him in a tight hug. She really likes him he thought. “How are ya?” she asked him while giving Dean a hug too. “We’re good, found ourselves a new home.” The young brother answered - “Ooh, house tour!” She said while wrapping her arm around Sam like an old couple. Dean rolled his eyes while walking behind them.
You walk into the archive “Wow, this is really something!” She said with her eyes sparkling. “Well, I’m going to leave you two nerds to it. I’ll make dinner.” Dean said quietly leaving the room. “What’s up with him?” She asked Sam. He has been through a lot lately. “Hm, want me to talk to him later?” She asked him, still looking at the empty door, Dean walked out of. “No, he will be alright. Give him some time.” Dean’s mind started to float back to their last hunt. He was stupid enough to go hunt a djinn by himself and got captured. He couldn’t stop thinking about the dream.
Dean woke up in a warm bed, the sun came through the windows of the room. It took him a second to remember where he was when all of the sudden, he felt a hand pulling around his waist. “Good morning handsome.” The female voice said to his ear. His eyes got big as he turned around seeing Y/N in bed next to him. She kissed his lips with a soft touch before crawling into his arms resting her head against his shirt. Dean smiled softly not knowing what happened last night but liking the outcome of it. “Even though I would like nothing more than to stay in your arms, we need to get ready.” Y/N said kissing his chest breaking his trail of thoughts. “Why?” - “Sam invited us remember?” She looked up at him. “You forgot, didn’t you?” He smiled shyly.
He watched her walking to the bathroom in a little babydoll dress admiring her curves. “Stop staring Winchester, get ready.” He heard her yell.
Dean and Y/N pulled up at Sam’s place, Dean couldn’t believe his eyes. His parents and Jess were talking in the living room before they noticed them walking in. “Ah, there he is, aways the last one to arrive.” His dad said. “How are you holding up with him?” He joked pointing at Dean. “Barely.” Y/N answered in the same tone. ”No refunds.” John laughed. “Dinner is served.” Jess announced. before Dean could answer. Even though it was strange seeing you at the same table as his parents he liked it. “Eh, guys, we have an announcement.” Sam lifted his voice. Jess took his hand.” I’m pregnant.” Everyone was over the moon, but Dean couldn’t help but feeling out of this world.
Sam and John were talking, still sitting at the table. While Dean decided to get a refill on his beer. He heard Jess, his mom and Y/N talk during the dishes. “So, what about you guys? Still no ring I see.” his mom asked.” Y/N didn’t answer but he could see her face. “Is Dean ever going to be ready to settle down?” Jess asked Mary. “I don’t know, Y/N and Dean have been together how long know?” She asked Y/N. “Next summer, 3 years.” Y/N answered loading in the plates. “He is quiet today, I don’t know what’s going on.” - “I noticed too; he isn’t half as handsy as he is normally. He didn’t even hold his hand on your thigh or kissed you yet.” Jess said. Dean walked in pretending not to have heard anything they said. Y/N stood next to the fridge, he placed his hand on her lower back and kissed her temple before getting another beer.
Once home Dean took off his clothes and stepped in the shower, he felt a fresh wind of air against his back before he felt Y/N’s hands around his ribs, her face against his shoulder. “What’s wrong Dean?” He heard the worries is her voice. His heart bounced almost out of his chest. He turned around seeing her completely naked for the first time. His lips moved to hers, the kiss became quickly more passioned. Their hands moving to discover each other's body... Dean didn’t want to hold back he wanted to feel every inch of her. He took her hands and moved back, she looked worried. “Shower sex, to complicated.” He said while pulling her in the bedroom. “He is back” she smiled while he dropped her in the bed hovering over her. He lifted her leg, stroking her thigh with his rough fingers before entering her smoothly. "Oh, Dean..."
“Dean?” He almost jumped hearing his name. “Did you just flinch?” Y/N said trying not to laugh. “Anything I can help you with?” He tried to forget he just daydreamed about them being intimate. “I need your help.” She said while leaning back at the kitchen table looking at him. “I’m sure Sam could help you out. Little busy here. Food, dinner you know.” He said smiling over his shoulder, desperately trying to avoid turning to her since his dream had wakened an erection. “Dean, I need you, Sam can’t help me.” She was persistent. He sights. “Fine, I’m following you.”
Y/N walked to the garage. “Really? You need me to take a look at your car?” He said looking at her, she nodded fast. “Sam knows a thing or two about cars.” He said but still opening the hood “Well, I only trust you with my car, since she is a classic.’ Throwing him the keys to her ‘70 mustang. Dean started the car, looked under the hood. ”I don’t hear or see anything wrong.” He said after a while, turning the cars off still sitting in the front seat. Y/N sat next to him on the passenger's seat facing him. “There isn’t anything wrong with the car.” He looked puzzled at her. “I know my girl inside out; I know how to take care of her. But there is something with you.” She pointed her finger at him. “And you... I don’t know so well to fix.” Dean kept looking in her eyes, thinking “Damn that sounded hot.”
“So, tell me.” She pushed. “Nothing wrong.” - “Dean, stop lying to me or yourself. You act like I'm a stranger...” He stepped out of the car closing the hood. “Dean what did I do?” - “You didn’t do anything.”- ‘Then why are you acting so strange lately?” Dean started to walk towards the exit. “Hey! Don’t walk away from me!” She pulled his arm to make him stop. He turned to her, pushing her against the side of her car holding her shoulders. She locked eyes with him, for the first time seeing every tint of green before he dipped down kissing her deep, holding her head in his hands. When he took a step back, she felt dizzy, holding on to his flannel still looking at his eyes. “Now you know.” he said out of breath. When she didn’t answer immediately, he started to get nervous. “But I –I know... how you... You know your feelings for Sam so. Don’t worry, ok.”
Y/N pulled Dean closer kissing him again. Moving her hands under his flannel shirt to his neck and shoulders. Dean placed a hand on her side and one the top of the car, completely covering Y/N with his body. The kiss got hot and heavy really quick. Both stripping from their clothes, Y/N pushed Dean in the passenger seat while he pulled her in, straddling his lap. She held his head in her hands kissing, his tongue followed hers. His hand steady on her back while she grinded his hips for friction. A moan escaped her lips, when she felt him already hard against her clothed slit. His hand moved down in her panties, humming feeing they were already soaked, dipping two fingers in and out of her, wetting his fingers before softly started to rub his fingers over her clit. Moving a little lower placing his fingers inside her again while his thumb worked on her clit. Making her fall against his shoulder moaning his name.
He kissed her neck and ear. “Protection?” He asked breathless. “Glovebox.” She answered with her lips still in his neck. He moved his hand making Y/N whimper and dipped a little forward to reach for the condom. She moved away a little to take off his boxers and her panties, pumping his dick a few more times while he tried to open the packaging, her touch making it hard for him to focus. Once all wrapped up, she lowered herself on him. Moaning his name as she felt every inch stretching. Dean looked at her like a man enchanted with his plump lips parted as she started to move. The palm of his hand on the end of her thighs his fingers spread over her flesh, holding her steady against him.
“Oh Dean...” she whimpered in his ear. He could feel she was close to an orgasm. “I got you... Let go.” He said when his hand moved down to where they were connected, drawing circles on her clit. Y/N’s head felt back making it easier for Dean to look at her when she rode out her orgasm on is dick. “So fucking beautiful.” He whispered. The feeling of her tightening around him made it impossible for him to go on any longer. He pulled his arms around her while he groans against her neck and shoulder. Both of them out of breath, but neither moved. Dean looked in her eyes again moving a piece of hair out of her face. “Was not expecting that.” He laughed “Next time, talk to me before assuming I like someone else.” Y/N hit his chest with the back of her hand.
They started to get dressed outside of the car. “So eh, is this a one-time thing?” Dean asked a little nervous. Y/N smiled flirty while walking to the door? “Wait, what does that mean.” He yelled. “Talk to me more, you will figure out.” He ran after her holding her against the door. “I've got plenty of time now.” He kissed her. “I don’t think so.” -” Why not?” - “Dean, I smell something burning.” She said in a honey sweet voice. Dean pushed her aside while he ran to the kitchen.
Sam held up the pots and pans that were burned while the both of you ran in the kitchen. “Next time before you two... You know what, I don’t even want to know, but make sure to turn off the stove Dean.”
“So, Pizza it is?” Y/N asked not being able to contain her laugh.

FayneNeet
Idea suggested by ~Bea-The-Artista! https://www.deviantart.com/alyssa-the-artista Fayne got into the Fallout series recently... and he hasn't left his room in months! His roomate, Faith can tell just by the smell... He's like her now! A shut-in, a degenerate, and dare I say it, a NEET! Surely he's neglecting his studies, he attended them in weeks! If she could just get over her crippling anxiety to check up on him... Not worth! Eh, he's probably fine. If only she knew how much he really was changing inside that room. He wasn't even himself anymore... Fayne was now some kind of girlfail, wasting away at a blue screen in the dark... Far flung from the extroverted boy she used to be... What happened? I think those sex mods had more changes than relayed in the description... Anyway, who cares!? Piper needs more pipe laid... And Strong needs some help finding the milk of human kindness...

✩ ˛˚ . NAGI SEISHIRO ; — theres nothing more tempting in the morning than staying in bed.
warnings: f!reader, all characters written 22+, nagi just wants to stay in bed :3 note: i was updating my mlist + decided to repost this since it got flagged like an hour in <3
Tumblr media Tumblr media
“we gotta get up, sei.” your voice is still thick with sleep as you squint at the bright screen of your phone, taking an airier sort of lull when the sound only seems to draw nagi closer — pulling you tighter against his chest as his hips roll into yours, pushing more of his cock into the snug squeeze of your walls.
fuck— this position is perfect, lying on his side with your back flush against his chest, he barely has to move and even though he’s losing out on the extra amount of sleep he could be getting right now, waking up early isn’t so bothersome when it means he gets to spend time wrapped up in you before practice.
“eh, ‘m still sleepy right now. pretty thing. jus’ gimme a few more minutes” nagi’s reply is low and ragged, muffled against the space where his lips rest against the back of your shoulder — snowy peaks of his hair tickling along your skin as he presses himself even deeper into you. he hears you whine with his next lazy, languid thrust and the sweet sound only encourages him to curl his arms even tighter around your waist for the next.
“so comfy, can’t you jus’ stay with me all day?” the pout you can hear in his words is almost convincing and he knows he’d much rather be cuddled up in bed with you, buried in your warm cunt instead of sweaty and tired at practice — longing for the sweet squeeze of you around him. but then your hand reaches back to smooth through his hair and he knows exactly what you’re gonna say as he whimpers against your skin.
“you have p-practice too, y’know.” what a drag— nagi thinks before he’s following it up with a particularly deep kiss of his cock along the swollen spots inside of you, like he’s throwing a silent little tantrum despite the fact he’s 190cm and a pro football player. but your fingers squeeze in the roots of his hair before you pull with the pleasure he digs out of you, easing him to melt into you all the same as he mouths at the crook of your neck with a grumble.
“eh, so.. ‘ts so bothersome, wanna cuddle with you all day instead.” he really was like a big teddy bear, the warmth of his body only easing you to push your hips back to meet his slow pace as his large palms creep their way around your hips to squeeze.
“we can cuddle when you get home, s-sei.” your voice catches and breaks with the warmth you feel at the base of your spine when nagi’s fingers pet their way through your slick folds, lazily rolling your clit with two fingers as his other arm continues to hug you closer. there’s no real rhythm or practice to his movements, still drowsy and instinctive but it’s enough to push you close enough to your high that you almost consider calling in sick.
“mmmhf—‘ts cold without you though.” he grumbles with the next wet press of his hips against yours, abdomen twitching as his breathing turns to softer, needier pants. he’s getting close, but he knows as soon as you both cum you’ll have to leave — so he’ll fight off the blaze of pleasure that turns in his abdomen if it means a few extra moments with you.
“just wear a hoodie.” you laugh and nagi groans again, louder this time before he’s curling over you to press his face into the crook of your neck — fingers continuing their slow pace on your clit as he presses you into the cushions beneath you and it’s almost amusing — the amount of effort the usual unmotivated striker was suddenly showing just to keep you in his arms.
“eh, what a hassle, f-fuck—but you’re warmer.” he’s trying, pouting to keep you in bed with him all day like he doesn’t have somewhere to be himself, not that you’d think so with every languid roll of his hips — savouring every twitch and squeeze of your walls around his cock like he’s got all the time in the world as he presses down harder on the swollen, puffy bud between your folds.
“such a pain, g’nna make me cum already but don’t feel awake enough yet, pretty thing.. stay a lil longer, please.”
