We have not even to risk the adventure alone for the heroes of all time have gone before us. The labyrinth is thoroughly known ... we have only to follow the thread of the hero path. And where we had thought to find an abomination we shall find a god. And where we had thought to slay another we shall slay ourselves. Where we had thought to travel outwards we shall come to the center of our own existence. And where we had thought to be alone we shall be with all the world.

GAWD I’ve talking about heelel and his brothers. You mentioned that the series is based off the Bible but also your creativity. I want to know how you pictured heelel being the snake and convincing Eve to eat the apple. PLEASE!
I also thought about this when I drafted the series this is how I pictured it going down…again, based of some Biblical facts but also adjusted in fictitious structure for the sake of the story…a little bit of angst (heele waiting for you).
“The Forbidden Fruit”
Warnings: Biblical adjustment, sin, going against Gods will, Timelapse, …think that’s it. Try not to fall in love with snake heelel. lol.
“He has done it…our former master created the first man.”
Heeseung stands oddly calm, but the sense of betrayal and anger riles up inside him as his young brother’s words enters his ear canal.
‘How could he do this? How could he…’
Cursing himself, Heeseung remains silent as he commits to his plan: destroy humanity. Prove to God that making them was the worst mistake.
Perhaps after seeing how terrible they will turn out to be, maybe then his former master will apologize and beg for his forgiveness.
“What was it again? The reason why he created them? It was to teach something…what was it though?”
The brothers ponder aloud when Heeseung’s voice punctures through in a tranquil tone…
“They are capable of teaching others how to love…”
‘That is the reason you told me…how absurd. Wasn’t my love for you—as your favorite, enough?’
“Well, we shall see. He started off with a man, and he just made another, called ‘woman’.”
“Where is he keeping them?” Jay inquired as he partakes in Leviathans gossip. “It’s in a garden.”
Heeseung continues to look amused as he sits atop his throne, while his younger siblings all speak of the abomination that is mankind.
“Helel, do what do you-“ Sunghoon pauses as he and the others all look and note that Heeseung had suddenly disappeared. His throne sat empty. “Where did he go?”
…………….
A young woman bares the nude flesh of new skin. She hums a song matching the birds as they hover above and teach her the meaning of song. She enjoys the loveliness of the garden, frolicking among the trees and wild flowers that grow around her, when suddenly a deep, echoing voice emerges. It sounds out from all around, making the direct source unknown and hard to find.
“Child…woman…creature made of flesh and bone…a copy cat of the first one. Come this way.”
“Wh-who’s there?”
She looks around, dizzying herself as she tries to locate the person speaking. “Who are you?”
“Lost mind…wandering soul…you are frightened by the sound of my voice, aren’t you?”
The woman grows hesitant and begins to cover herself. Up until now, her nudity didn’t feel so exposed, but the alluring and toxic tone of the man’s voice seemed to trigger a sense of shyness.
“Fear not. I’m not here to hurt you, on the contrary I am here to help you.”
“Help me?”
“Yesss…thaaasts right. Come closer to the tree.”
“B-but…we were told to not go to that tree.”
“Why? It’s just a tree…nothing more special than the rest surrounding you.”
The woman stays silent and refrains from moving, until the reassurance of the voice compels her to move. “I promise, nothing will happen to you. Now, come to the tree, my dear.”
She moves over, hesitantly as she fears for the worst to occur the moment she steps foot near the root of the forbidden tree, yet the curiosity has gotten the best of her. Reaching it, she breathes in relief when all remained well.
“There…see? I told you all would be well. You have nothing to fear, I will never lie to you.”
“Please tell me who you are. Won’t you show me your face? Are you just like me and the other, Adam?”
Suddenly a large emerald serpent coils around the tree before her, it was large and beautiful.
“Hello….Eeeeeve.” His voice is taunting yet teasingly playful, almost flirtatious.
“H-how do you know my name?”
“I know everything.”
Eve chuckles. The serpent carried a sense of charisma as it spoke. “You’re a strange creature.” She remarks comfortably.
“I am just like you…I too was created by the one who made you.” His voice taps into a tune of amusement. “We are the same…you and I.”
The serpent then takes an apple, swallowing it before leveling its eyes once more to Eve’s. “Yummy.”
Eves eyes widen in shock. Her lips quiver as she witnessed the serpent devouring the shiny red apple. It appealed to her deliciously, triggering a sense she had yet to experience up until now. It was a hunger, a yearning for something that she was not allowed to have, a feeling of desire of wanting the unobtainable.
“Have one.” The serpent tells her.
“W-we’re not allowed. We were told to not eat the fruit from this tree.”
The serpent smirks. “Why? It is just an apple, what harm could it do to have but one?”
“I don’t want to get into trouble.” Eves tone was hesitant, but the serpent knew she was right on the edge. Just a little more…
“You won’t. I told you, didn’t I? You and I are the same. If I can eat one, you can too.”
Eve sends a subtle smile. It’s true, the serpent are an apple and nothing has happened. Perhaps all will be well should she take just one bite out of the juicy red fruit.
The serpent flicks its tail and coils it around a perfectly ripe apple, and presents it to Eve. “Eat.”
Eve takes the fruit from the serpent, and smiles once more. “Is it truly alright for me to do so?”
The serpent’s smirk grows widely as his ruby eyes become narrow. “I told you…I’d never lie to you.”
………….
Heeseung rejoices internally as he sits back on his throne. “What an idiot.”
After convincing Eve to eat the apple, his plan went accordingly as he witnessed his former master banish them from the garden. Now, he must see that he was right and that humans are nothing but chaotic creatures that will create a path of destruction. “What a fucking joke.”
“Helel, we have come to pay a visit. Will you receive us?”
Heeseung peeks between his fingers as he shielded his eyes during his evil chuckle. “Of course I receive you, you think i’d let you make it up this far if I didn’t?”
The elder is least amused by Heeseung’s tone. “No, i do not think you would. In fact, i feel that you would have ended us and lol our heads off the moment we set foot in Hell.”
Heeseung chuckles. “Well you’re right. But since I’ve been gracious enough to let you in, tell me…is he sorry? Does he now see how terrible of a mistake it was to create those little shits?”
The elder shakes his head tiresomely. “Why did you compel her to eat the forbidden fruit? Do you hate our master that much?”
Heeseung snaps as he leans forward from his throne. “The man banished my brothers and I from the very home we ever knew, and chose mortal creation over our judgement…OF COURSE I HATE HIM.”
The elder raises a hand of peace and speaks out once more. “Fallen angel, favorite of my master…we are not here to provoke you…we are here to show you a vision.”
“What…vision?” The least bit interested, yet a slight bit of curiosity peaks as Heeseung leans back and spoke under heavy and lazy lids. “I am curious as to what you have up in your sleeve, Elder…for you should already know that no matter what it is, it isn’t going to stop me from tearing these mortals limb from limb…even if he fills the world with them.”
The elder nods. “Well then, there is no harm in showing you. Should that be your resolve still, then we shall leave and never bother you. Though we won’t stand by and watch you destroy his creation.”
Heeseung rolls his eyes. “Yeah, yeah, yeah. Whatever old man, just hurry up and show me what it is and be gone already. I’ve got blood and carnage to commit to.”
“Come with us Favorite Son of God, and we will show you his vision. In order to do so, we must travel to the altar.”
Heeseung sighs. “All the way there? Fucking aye…” standing from his throne, he stretched his neck as he expresses lethargically the lack of amusement he had it within him to attend this event. “Let’s get this done and over with. Better be good old man…for your sake.”
And like that, the elder and his disciples take the Devil to the altar.
……………….
‘I longed to commit death, in the most violent manner.
My plans to obtain brutal screams and shattered dreams is near, I can taste it.
When suddenly a young songbird crosses my path. She swings before me and tweets a tune.
I want to snag her out of the air she spreads her wings in, and crush her breasts to pieces.
My hand reaches for her, and yet, she did not flee.
She is perched atop my finger, and there I see.
It was not a songbird that flew before me, but a lone flower whose petals danced like wings.
It was not the tweeting that traveled in my ears, but the song of the wind that carried me…that lifts me.
It was not the soft colors of feathers that brightened my vision. It was Auroras sky reflecting off the Northern Lights.
I held that flower in my hand and kissed it, and watched the flower grow thorns. She pierces me in many ways, and leaves her thorns imbedded in me.
She is everything and everywhere. She is the air I breathe, the skin coating my flesh, the color of my vision. She is…
…………….
“Eldest brother, are you alright? You seem to have something on your mind…what are you thinking about? Does it have something to do with the Elders most recent visit? Does it have anything to do with what they showed you at the altar?”
“Helel?”
“Do not worry…I am fine.”
“Well…you haven’t been yourself. Should there be anything you need to tell us?”
“No….she hasn’t arrived yet.”
“….she???”
………..
“Yes…she.”

MY HELL TESTIMONY
It has taken me years to write down what i experienced when I was younger, but here it is. When i was a little boy, I had a near death experience that shook me to my core. I could not understand what happened back then but now, it all makes sense. As i slept peacefully in a room that I shared with my brothers, something weird happened. I was transported to an extremely dim place. There was an immense amount of smoke and steam, so much so that it was hard to breathe. I remember feeling this intense physical pressure that constricted my ability to breathe and move. I was drawn into a room that had torches lit on other side of a path, that led to a sort of "throne". I could hear a haunting demonic chant as i looked towards the throne. And then I saw him/it. He wore a pitch black robe and battle worn gauntlets, while his head was an abominable sight. Back then i thought he looked like a weird sort of goat or bull, but it is only now that i realised that it was baphomet. Terror flowed freely from the crown of my head to the soles of my feet, and even after i woke up, my sweat and fear made for a potent alarm bell before my day officially began. This was over 20 years ago and it is still something I will never forget.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
Hell is very real. There is no purgatory, there is no comfy waiting room. The saviour said that it is a place of torment and scripture confirms the unimaginable suffering that people shall endure ( See Matthew 13:42 and Revelation 14:10). The lake of fire is a sub-section of hell, in which all who do not have their names written in the book of life, shall spend all of eternity. I apologise if the testimony above is troubling or makes you feel uncomfortable, but the reality is that hell was not meant for us. You see, the Lord God almighty invented hell as a home for helel (as he was known then) and his rebellious angels. YHWH in all His considerate mercy did not want to force helel and his band of rebels, to live in a place where the latter was not comfortable. So He (YHWH) gave him (helel) what the latter wanted; a place where the former's light, love, mercy, forgiveness and perfection was absent. This place would be the place that we now call hell. A dimension precisely calibarated for spirit beings who hated YHWH's kingship. Kindly refer to Matthew 25:41 and Revelation 12:7-8 for context and clarity. If you have not place your faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, i implore you, surrender you life to Him today. Salvation is a free gift with no strings attached, simply put your trust in the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ and you shall be saved. After this find a bible believing church and be fed with the word of God! I bless you all in the name of the Lord and saviour Yeshua.

ladies and gentlemen and nons, it's time for
Doing every single domain* but only with x character/s 2: electric boogaloo
*not actually every single domain but that's not a catchy nameeeeeee
give it up for our guest star of the day: Lyney!!!!!
*camera pans to Lyney as the spotlight shines on him and he bows with a confident yet smug smile on his face*
let's see if this pretty boy can magic his way through all of teyvat's domains, shall we? ;)
(okay i'm dropping the tv show host voice now)
viridescent/maiden's - there were only 5 enemies so it was alright. not the comfiest clear by a long shot, but with better kiting skills than mine it definitely works
noblesse/bloodstained - hoo boy. despite the pyro abyss mage that i knew for a fact lyney had no chance of dealing with completely solo, i did it anyway cuz i'm the graystillplays of genshin players chongyun mains. and. yup. he died. and this is when i realized that an er sands would actually not be a bad idea for solo-ing purposes. since he gets that one stack from his burst, he can still go back up to full health if he ever drops below the usual 60% hp. of course the nre was still essential for me, but this trick definitely helped prolong his lifespan a bit. i did unfortunately have to use my other non-pyro teammates tho, i.e. barbara, candace, and lisa, all lvl >40 (again, i'm doing this to find the most efficient friendship farming strategy for domains). and of course they died too. but i beat the domain in the end. with the tiniest sliver of health on lyney. so yeah.
blizzard strayer/heart of depth - i has donned the er sands. and boy. despite the obvious loss in damage after giving up my atk sands, it was by far the most comfortable clear, despite having to fight a fucking abominable snowman. it's thanks in part to those little moments where the thing will sometimes just stand around not knowing what to do. it's not a slow connection thing it's just. idk, the movement code being wonky or whatever. (i'm not a game dev; don't come after me for not knowing game dev terms.) because of those, i had an easier time dodging, and also getting headshots in. i am not going to redo the previous two with the er sands (even i'm not that masochistic), but it definitely would've made those clears at least a little bit more comfortable
tenacity/pale flame - oh my god, that was actual pain and suffering. he literally died three times — it was awful. -20,000/10 would not recommend. unless you have some kind of shielder or resistance to interruption, these fuckers are a nightmare to fight
shimenawa/emblem - despite the electro abyss mage and his annoying electro ring thing, it was even easier than the blizzard strayer domain. goddamn
husk/clam - this... actually went way smoother than i thought it would. i did not eat a single healing food in this domain, and lyney still cleared it with full hp. his hats actually made for some decent crowd control so i didn't get corrosion as much. my teammates were all on life support tho, that much goes without saying. also that little healing trick with his burst helped a ton, especially now that he gets his burst back every two casts of his skill. the hat taunt + his skill + his burst let me get in quite a bit of aoe damage as well. he did not die once, i did not swap into my other party members the whole time. overall, i'm surprised at how well he can actually clear this domain. he might even be better than the bennet+kazuha duo here
gilded/deepwood - was pretty chill on account of not needing to hug the enemies like bennett and kazuha do. and also the er sands (ergo, way more burst casts) was enough to keep him super healthy without healing food
marechaussee/golden troupe - i mean this domain was basically tailor-made for lyney. so of course he's gonna clear it with ease. his damage wasn't amazing on account of er sands of course. but not needing to eat healing food constantly was nice and comfy. it was also fairly fun kiting practice: the meks aren't the fastest, so there's a decent size window to dash out of range of their attacks when they try to lunge at you. again, the taunt also helped them not come after me constantly. i definitely would do this again cuz i already use lyney to clear this domain anyway; might as well have him solo it and take freeloaders along to soak up the friendship points

Cain married his own sister and still moved out without 2nd thought.
Gen 4:16-7
That “his wife” can only be his sister, born by Eve, and before you say: “well, Cain was cursed and had to leave”, let us review this with Isaac’s case and compare.
Gen 24:67 THEN ISAAC BROUGHT THE GIRL INTO HIS MOTHER'S TENT. Rebekah became his wife that day. Isaac loved her very much. So he was comforted after his mother's death. ERV
Isaac didn’t [quickly] leave home but even brought Rebekah into the room where his mother had lived.
So, can’t this be a direct contravention of the Divine Order?
Well, what I see is that Sarah was now dead and so there was no more going to be any “parental impositions” which is commonly stronger with the mothers whose womb carried them.
Jdg 17:2-3 He told HIS MOTHER, "You were upset about the 1,100 pieces of silver that were taken from you. I even heard you put a curse on them. Here's the silver. I took it!" His mother said, "The LORD bless you, my son!" So Micah gave the 1,100 pieces of silver back to his mother. Then his mother said, "I dedicate this silver to the LORD for my son's benefit. I WANT TO MAKE A CARVED IDOL AND A METAL IDOL. SO NOW I'M GIVING THE SILVER BACK TO YOU." GW
Family Traditions and Values, most of which are abominations to God, do find ways of transcending from generation to generation and parents are the principal culprits in spreading them.
1Pe 1:18
Mothers “still” want to retain their “maternal rights” and influence over their “babies” and so they become the commonest problems against wives in various homes.
Fathers want the “honour” of Family Name kept intact, so they try to impose norms on their children.
Your home shall be sustained by God’s Divine Rule [ONLY], IN JESUS NAME.
Come back on Friday, as we proceed in digging into this inspiring Subtopic.

“…and where we had thought to find an abomination, we shall find a god”
—Joseph Campbell, The Hero With a Thousand Faces
Tumblr media
One fateful night when I was little, I snuck downstairs while my dad was watching Return of the Jedi. It just so happened to be the moment right near the end when Luke removes Vader’s mask. My reaction was part horror, part sadness, and part awe...but I was not afraid. Rather, I wondered, 'who is this poor guy and what happened to him?’ I had instant empathy for the pitiful creature before me. This was my very first introduction to Star Wars, and is what forms the heart of my interest in, and understanding of, the story to this day. The sorrow, the tenderness, the unconditional love. The redemption. The monster, a monster no more. It is why I have never seen Vader as the 'scary villain' of pop culture, but rather as Anakin.…the tragic hero and figure of immense pathos that he is.

One day as I was sitting alone in my study surrounded by books on all kinds of subjects, devoting myself to literary studies, my usual habit, my mind dwelt at length on the weighty opinions of various authors whom I had studied for a long time. ...I remembered wanting to examine this book by Mathéolus. I started to read it and went on for a little while... and after browsing here and there and reading to the end, I put it down in order to turn my attention to more elevated and useful study. But just the sight of this book, even though it was of no authority, made me wonder how it happened that so many different men--and learned men among them--have been and are so inclined to express both in speaking and in their treatises and writings so many wicked insults about women and their behavior. ...They all concur in one conclusion: that the behavior of women is inclined to and full of every vice. Thinking deeply about these matters, I began to examine my character and conduct as a natural woman and, similarly, I considered other women whose company I frequently kept, princesses, great ladies, women of the middle and lower classes... hoping that I could judge impartially and in good conscience whether the testimony of so many notable men could be true. To the best of my knowledge, no matter how long I confronted or dissected the problem, I could not see or realize how their claims could be true when compared to the natural behavior and character of women. Yet I still argued vehemently against women, saying that it would be impossible that so many famous men--such solemn scholars, possessed of such deep and great understanding, so clear-sighted in all things, as it seemed--could have spoken falsely on so many occasions that I could hardly find a book on morals where, even before I had read it in its entirety, I did not find several chapters or certain sections attacking women, no matter who the author was. ...And so I relied more on the judgement of others than on what I myself felt and knew. I was so transfixed in this line of thinking for such a long time that it seemed as if I were in a stupor. ...And I finally decided that God formed a vile creature when He made woman, and I wondered how such a worthy artisan could have deigned to make such an abominable work which, from what they say, is the vessel as well as the refuge and abode of every evil and vice. As I was thinking this, a great unhappiness and sadness welled up in my heart, for I detested myself and the entire feminine sex, as though we were monstrosities in nature. And in my lament I spoke these words:
“...Look at all these accusations which have ben judged, decided, and concluded against women. I do not know how to understand this repugnance. If it is so, fair Lord God, that in fact so many abominations abound in the female sex, for You Yourself say that the testimony of two or three witnesses lends credence, why shall I not doubt that this is true? Alas, God, why did You not let me be born in the world as a man, so that all my inclinations would be to serve You better, and so that I would not stray in anything and would be as perfect as a man is said to be? But since Your kindness has not been extended to me, then forgive my negligence in Your service, most fair Lord God, and may it not displease You, for the servant who receives fewer gifts from his lord is less obliged in his service.” I spoke these words to God in my lament and a great deal more for a very long time in sad reflection, and in my folly I considered myself most unfortunate because God had made me inhabit a female body in this world.
...So occupied with these painful thoughts, my head bowed in shame, my eyes filled with tears, leaning on the pommel of my chair’s armrest, I suddenly saw a ray of light fall on my lap, as though it were the sun. I shuddered then, as if wakened from sleep, for I was sitting in a shadow where the sun could not have shone at that hour. And as I lifted my head to see where this light was coming from, I saw three crowned ladies standing before me, and the splendor of their bright faces shone on me and throughout the entire room.
...Then she who was the first of the three smiled and began to speak, “Dear daughter, do not be afraid, for we have not come here to harm or trouble you but to console you, for we have taken pity on your distress, and we have come to bring you out of the ignorance which so blinds your own intellect that you shun what you know for a certainty and believe what you do not know or see or recognize except by virtue of many strange opinions. ...Fair daughter, have you lost all sense? Have you forgotten that when fine gold is tested in the furnace, it does not change or vary in strength but becomes purer the more it is hammered and handled in different ways? Do you not know that the best things are the most debated and the most discussed?
“...Dear daughter... there is another greater and even more special reason for our coming which you will learn from our speeches: in fact we have come to vanquish from the world the same error into which you had fallen, so that from now on, ladies and all valiant women may have a refuge and defense against the various assailants, those ladies who have been abandoned for so long, exposed like a field without a surrounding hedge, without finding a champion to afford them an adequate defense, notwithstanding those noble men who are required by order of law to protect them, who by negligence and apathy have allowed them to be mistreated. ...Now it is time for their just cause to be taken from Pharaoh’s hands, and for this reason, we three ladies whom you see here, moved by pity, have come to you to announce a particular edifice built like a city wall, strongly constructed and well founded, which has been predestined and established by our aid and counsel for you to build, where no one will reside except all ladies of fame and women worthy of praise.”

Red Night
Starring: Ryomen Sukuna, Curse!Reader, OCs
Pairing: Sukuna x Curse!Reader
Warning: Death of minor characters.
A/N: It's kind of a historical AU? I mean Sukuna has his original form, and it takes place in the past. But it's also historically innaccurate😅. I apologise in advance.
In retrospect, (y/n) knew it was fruitless. The gap between curses and humans was far too large. It was already set in the humans’ heart, the fear which accompanies ‘their’ apparition. By ‘their’ they mean curses of course. People were so scared of them that the mere utterance of their name, in their superstitious mind, meant immediate death.
But (y/n) wanted to believe in the hope that one day, curses and humans could understand each other. She wanted them to be able to make a compromise so that both can live in peace. This shouldn’t be impossible. Curses are born from humans. Some humans even become curses. But that hope was squashed down as the townspeople grew to fear her.
Sukuna watches as the town which once worshipped the ground (y/n) walked on, were now chanting her demise. They brought forth their pitchforks, their torches all in the hopes of killing the abomination. The abomination they once worshipped as if she was a goddess. Well, she was one in his eyes. A foolish, naive goddess, but still his.
The woman looked around her, eyes gleaming in the orange glow of the fire. She so desperately wanted to turn back time. She wonders where it all went wrong. Did all her good deeds disappear as quickly as the day turned into the night? Her mind takes her back to a few months back. When she was arguing with her king.
“You are being foolish, (y/n). I once was a human exterminating curses. I know how the human mind works. They will hate you whatever you do.”
“But Sukuna, don’t you want a world where we can both live freely? Without the omnipresent fear that humans will always want to kill the likes of us?”
“I live for killing humans. I live for the carnage. But if you’re so stubborn, go on to that town down our mountain. Prove me wrong if you so desire to get along with these pests.” Sukuna rolled his four eyes, four arms crossed on his chest. He could care less about living with humans. He thought that the life they were leading up that mountain was enough. No one could disturb them there. But no, (y/n) had to have this stupid idea in her pretty little mind. Sometimes the King wonders how she became a curse with so much kindness and compassion in her heart. He could hardly see her curse anyone. She was too kind for her own good. That’s a part of her personality Sukuna cannot get rid of.
And so she headed down to the town at the foot of the mountain they were residing at. She remembers their warm smile as they welcome her into their ranks. She looked like them after all. Mere humans wouldn’t be able to tell the difference between human curses and themselves. They merely thought that her tattoos were among one of the oddities which she had. She stayed in the town for six months. Six blissful months where all their woes disappeared thanks to (y/n). She healed the young and elderly to her best abilities despite using curse energy. She helped the crops grow even during floods. The town is prospering more than ever since her arrival. And so, they made a shrine for her. They showered her with praises, thanking the gods for sending their messenger to their town.
Sukuna watched from the temple as his lover went and made friends around town. He watched her giving her warm smiles to children as they tugged on her kimono for attention. He watched her become known as the merciful goddess of that town. The king of curses didn’t know what to think. Her ideas were foolish. Humans and curses can never coexist. That’s the truth. But he let her run around. He only watched from a distance because he knew that he was the one who would be right. It won’t be long before she realizes that humans were monsters in sheep’s clothing. It won’t be long until she comes back to his side.
(Y/n) felt happy. She was glad that she could help the people. A positive feeling accompanied all the good deeds. The people were happy with her presence. ‘It won’t be long until they see that curses have feelings too!’ (Y/n) though ecstatically. What she didn’t know was that she gained the attention of not only the people living in the town but also those who ruled that town. And cruel was the man who watched the beautiful woman in the pink flower-patterned kimono as she walked around town carelessly, with an easy smile. He shall have her. She will be his newest concubine. He was the Lord of that land. Everything belonged to him. And that included that peculiar woman. Messenger of the gods or not, that had little importance in his eyes, for he was the Lord who ruled over everything. It didn’t matter if she was married or engaged, for he lived only for his own pleasure.
It was a cloudless day. (Y/n) was going to visit Sukuna again as was her habit. In her hand was a wooden basket an elderly woman crafted for her after learning she was going up to the shrine on the mountain. “Be careful,” said the elderly woman with a concerned tone, “I hear that there are wild animals up that mountain. It’s dangerous. No one goes there anymore because of them.” (Y/n) smile reassuringly at her. She knew for a fact that there were no wild animals. Sukuna was merely protective of the place he decided to claim as his own. The elderly woman was the first one who welcomed her to that town. She introduced to the young curse everything she had to know about the town’s custom and their cultures. To the curse, she was like a grandmother. The elderly woman had no family and was a widow. She lived alone in her house of stone on the outskirt of town. So, (y/n) took it upon herself to visit her as often as she could. She would often bake (y/n) some treats to repay her help around her house. The curse would often bring them up to Sukuna so that they could eat it together. The King was disgusted at first. But after much nagging, he relented and begrudgingly said that they tasted “alright”. That meant to (y/n) that they tasted good. That he liked them. So she would always bring him the treats the old widow prepared for her. Watching him enjoy something so simple makes her so happy. It’s like a reminder for her. A reminder that Sukuna used to be a human. Watching him eat is so grounding because she could pretend that they were normal. That they wouldn’t get shun should they decide to live amongst humans. She wanted to go to the market with her king. She wanted to do domestic chores that her parents used to do a long time ago. She wanted to go to festivals with her king even if he would complain the whole time. It was these little wishes which kept her trying to make peace with humans. She wanted Sukuna to enjoy something human. Something which would remind him that he too used to be human.
The road to the mountain was always quiet. It was not very used since people rarely travelled this way. But today, there was a very fancy carriage with some guards obscuring her usual route. (Y/n) came to a halt in front of the carriage, head cocked to the side, confused. The guards open the door and help a tall man down. He was a tall human with black hair and green eyes. He might have been handsome in humans’ standard. But he paled in comparison to her beloved grouchy King. He gave her what he considered his ‘best smile’. It was a grin really. It was so different from Sukuna’s. The grin of this human makes her uncomfortable. The grin of Sukuna made her feel butterflies in her stomach. It made her nervous in a good way.
“Rejoice woman! For, the great ruler of the town has decided to make you his concubine! This is not a favour which is given to many. You are special in my eyes so get in the carriage and let’s head back to the palace immediately! I want to get acquainted with you, lovely flower.” The woman cringes. Sukuna who was rude and crass was finally not that bad. ‘There are people who are worse than him when trying to flirt, after all. How shocking.’ But nevertheless (Y/n) politely bows her head in apology. It would be bad if she upset the Lord since she wanted to get along with his people after all. “ I apologize, My Lord. There is already someone in my life at the moment. I’m certain, however, that you will find someone more fitting for the position you are offering.” With that, the young woman leaves the flabbergasted man behind and continues her road to the mountain. The road which led to the king of her heart.
The man watches her leave in anger. No one was ever brave enough to simply brush him aside like that. How dare she humiliate him in front of his guards like that. The lord was turning red. With a cold cutting voice, he orders his guards to spread a rumour. ‘The pretty little woman will soon run begging for mercy at his feet.’ He thought, chuckling maniacally.
After she spent her night with her King who was attention-starved, not that he would admit it. He would rather fight a thousand shamans than admit that he missed his annoying woman. (Y/n) decides to go back to town to see if there was anything she could help with. Instead of the warm welcome, she always gets, all she receives is cold shoulders and glares. The people cowered away from her. ‘Could they know about my real identity?’ Worried, she decides to go to the one person who would tell her everything. The old woman’s shop was closed today. (Y/n) had to head to the house on the outskirts of town. Just going there took the young woman the whole morning. She knocked on the woman’ door. In the corner of her eyes, she sees a curtain move. The door opens quickly, a frail old hand grabs the curse and drags her inside before quickly shutting the door.
“Oh my poor child. You should not have come back! You have to run away before nightfall!” (Y/n) looks at her confused. “But why?” The woman shakes her head gravely. “The lord of this town is awful. He takes whoever he wants. If they don’t go along with him, they are killed by the townspeople.” The curse recoils. Frozen in her shock, the elderly woman goes on. “He told everyone that you were a witch. You fornicate with the devil which is why you can heal, do so many miracles for us. Everyone is scared right now. They will-”
A loud bang resonates. Shouts of anger can be heard from outside. The moon shines in red glows as torches illuminate the night. The old woman drags the curse to the side door and pushes her outside. “Go! I will distract them!” “Grandma, no! You have to come with me! I can protect us both!” The old woman shakes her head and smiles at the curse gently. “You might not be human, but your heart is kinder than most. This house means everything to me. I want to die between these walls.’’ The woman pushes (y/n) one more time. The curse watches as they condemn the human who has been so kind to her from the very first day. The curse watches as they burn this house to the ground. The memories she made with the woman burning and disappearing in the fire. Oh, how cruel humans can be.
Alerted by the smell of fire, Sukuna exits his temple and watches as the town below chases after his lover. Their torches and angry shouts can be heard in the silence of the night. Sukuna watches as his lover stands in the middle of the crowd. The lord watches in satisfaction from his home as they chase down the woman who humiliated him. Ready to intervene, Sukuna runs down the path leading to the little town.
(Y/n) shocked at the turn of the events, looks around her. These people that she helped in the past. These people who would always smile at her when she is passing through town. They were now cursing at her, wishing her dead. They killed one of their own because of a sin that she didn’t commit. Because of the old widow’s kind heart. Her eyes are glassy. She can feel a tear falling down. It hurts. It suffocates her. She can barely breathe as they keep on chanting her demise. The people she loved turned against her. Sukuna was right. Even without knowing what she truly was, humans would always chase away those who didn’t appear humans.
And so, during that full moon, which would later be known as the Red Night, she burned that town to the ground without Sukuna’s help. She became their worst nightmare. Their worst fear came to reality as they angered the goddess. The lord who instigated all of this tragedy watches in fear as (y/n) burned his town to the ground. He would become the only living witness. He would later tell his children about the story of the goddess of his old town. The scar which marred with once flawless skin that he received from her would be the only proof of her very existence. The proof that you should not anger a curse.
Sukuna held her as they went back to their temple. For once, he spared her of his snide comment. He doesn’t complain as she wets his kimono with her tears. His four arms encircle her form protectively. She might have been foolish but she was his. And the gods forbid, Sukuna took care of everything which was his. Even if they annoy him by forcing him to eat sweets, even if she would hug him without the fear that he would snap and kill her in an instant. Sukuna might not understand the concept of love, as a human, he loved no one but himself. But as a curse, he knew that he loved her as he let her sit comfortably in his lap. He knew he loved her when he let her make a home in his temple. She knew Sukuna loved her when he held her tight and never let go.
