sypnosis -» sophia was nervous to introduce you to the rest of the girls especially since she has been sorta hiding you
beware -» fluff , swearing , mentions of dating , established relationship
talks -» this got requested on my main acc , but requested by @artrizzler19 !! ty "could you please do one with sophias gf (preferably masc) meeting the girls"
taglist (open): @nyssalvr @ohmyhaely @vrtualstar @jellaaa @c-yerim
"hey if they ask you anything feel free to not answer it alright?" sophia says her hands are sweaty as she opens the front door towards the shared home
"don't worry — it's not like they'll kill me...I think" you replied chuckling , honestly you were excited on the other hand though sophia seemed worried
the door opens and you were greeted with the members sitting down on the sofa , it looked like they were gonna interview you for a position
"it's a boy?!" yoonchae asks confused , before megan hits her shoulder muttering something about being masculine
sitting down the first question that was rung up was from lara , "when did you guys meet?" she asks her eyebrows lifted as if analyzing you
"it was a few months before you guys debuted" you replied calmly looking beside you as sophia looked happy with your answer
"anyways can I start? — we met because she was working in the café near our studio and at first I thought she was a he" sophia giggles as the rest of the girls quietly listened
"and then she asked for my number and I quickly found out that in fact she was well a girl, y/n was confident with me and was very caring so one thing led to another and here I am introducing her" sophia takes a deep breath waiting for the girls to ask more but nothing came
"wait that's so cute" daniela pipes up , and suddenly you were now family as well nothing was awkward , "hi y/n I'm yoonchae! sorry about what I said earlier, I like your style" yoonchae says as she approaches you , "it's alright really" you replied
" 'sup! lara , I think you already know that but I actually need help dressing like you — ugh I've wanted to try being masc for so long" lara sighs and obviously you agreed
the house was now loud yet very home-y , the girls were all sat on the sofa watching twilight since manon chose what to watch — sophia and you on the other hand were preparing some snacks for the rest
"this was better than I thought" sophia says referring to you meeting the girls , "told you not to worry" you replied snaking your arms around her nape placing a kiss on her lips as she smiles into it
click!
you and sophia hear a camera shutter only to see daniela and manon taking a picture of the two of you , "hey!" sophia says running after the duo leaving you to laugh your ass off in the kitchen

SO! Here is what i've given my heart and soul to this year (apart from uni entrance exams).
A short comic about masculinity, and not being enough and some other little things.
Well, it was for a contest with "thieves" as a subject. Which i totally ignored. I mean, not totally but i metaphorised it as i pleased.
Idk who will see this but, hope you like it!
(I know the comic is in Spanish, I'll translate it beneath the images but I'm not home and won't be for a while jajajaj so, not editing the images. Apologies)
Also! Here is a link to a 3D version of it!! With backcover and all!!! I. Am. Obsessed. Please check it out (i dont get anything out of it just. Im proud of it. It looks like a read book. So pretty jsjsjdh)
Cry
Well, shall we continue?
My boy is turning into a man
Perhaps that is why his tears have been stolen
And, nonetheless, he is set on retrieving them.
I don't get it.
But, could you explain to me why this obsession?
They're mine, I don't want to have them taken away
Yeah, but soon you'll be a men, Nico. Men don't cry.
Shut it, we gotta keep searching!
Men don't do anything fun.
They don't chit-chat
or laugh
Men also don't fear.
And i fear.
And isn't that bad?
Hey!
But is it true that men don't feel scared? Or sad?
I don't know
And me?
Will i be a bad man then?
Perhaps being a man is more complex than all of that. And, in any case, i think you'll be a good one.
Nico is getting older.
Perhaps that is why his tears have been stolen, but he is set on getting them back.
A story by Paula Donas.
#so this is my art tag#i am obsessed in a sense I can't explain#i always hate my comics afterwards AND i hate some mistakes of this one#BUT#LOOK AT HIM#MY PRETTY BOY#HES A FAIRY#A LITERAL FAIRY#So I'll ignore any pacing issue and not colored objects#girlie you had a shit deadline stfu#BUT HES A FAIRY#i literally chose it because i liked fairies. end of story#(and because it fits the theme but)#also jsjsjs#this comic was not going to be about masculinity but about expectations and anxiety BUT what is masculinity if not expctations and anxiety?#anyway i am not a man so I don't truly know what I'm talking about but bear with me please#or enjoy the frogs and plants idk jdjcjfj#comic#comic art#short comic#my comics#masculinity#mental health#art#illustration#cottagecore#the author was study-high when she did this and it looks kinda crazy core#spanish comics#spanish art#artists on tumblr

I finally saw the Barbie Movie and it was… really just a movie. Gave me something to do for two hours, but it didn’t feel substantive. Had some good messaging for women who needed to hear the same message the “brainwashed” Barbies needed to hear, even though that concept sounds patronizing now that I’m putting words to it. I have other thoughts, but voicing them feels a little like beating a dead horse. Women far smarter than I have provided incredibly cutting critiques of this movie and its portrayal white feminism, girlboss feminism, and capitalistic feminism.
#really weird that the genocide of indigenous people happened in Barbie Land too. I caught that Barbie Land Mt. Rushmore scene#no one making that movie probably thought of the implications of that#a part of me was wondering if I was Too Trans™️ for parts of this movie to make sense to me#because I have never understood the way we sort things into binaries and the way we gender things#So I was constantly like: '*This* is their masculinity?' There was no teeth in its critique of masculinity. Hell. There was no critique#there wasn't even a real critique of the patriarchy as a system of power or the masculinity it inspires#it was just a vague caricature of men and the idea 'Men don't understand us. They just talk at us rather than to us; mansplain and stuff...#...but they desire us and want our affection and attention so we can weaponize that to our advantage for our power.'#Umm...no you can't. They don't actually like you; they see you as a status symbol. You can't use a feature of the patriarchy to take it dow#whatever...#oh. also:#Me: ‘Oh my god. Look at all the fanny packs.’#my mother: ‘Do you see they’re in a Metallica font?’#‘Yes…’#‘You know what Metallica’s logo looks like right?’#‘Yes.’#‘So you get it?’#*blinks* ‘…No.’#‘🙄 So you don’t know what it looks like.’ *proceeds to show me a picture of the Metallica logo*#‘Okay. Yeah. Looks cool? I suppose they chose that font because of that.’#‘They chose it because it’s masculine.’#‘Huh? What?’#‘Have you even heard Metallica before?’#‘Yup.’#‘So you know it’s music for men.’#‘Umm… I don’t know about that. I think any one can like their music. I get it’s a band of white men but anyone can like metal & that genre.#‘🙄 It’s men’s music. That’s the point.’#‘Is it? Or have the Kens just appropriated anything they think ‘looks cool’ and proclaimed it as something ‘for’ men?’#(like— I got the impression they were just repeating what they saw and heard#did the creators think Metallica is 'for men' or did they recognize men's tendency to appropriate and gatekeep?)

since pepper was asking for it something that girls do that always makes me think 'cool gender' is not change their names despite it being historically masculine and re-defining the name through their identity and relationship to it.
#dylan mulvaney springs to mind. of course. along with some less famous examples.#shes a great example to give because a lot of things about her align with ideals of cishet feminine ideals and she could've changed her nam#to match. but chose to keep dylan. great gender moment#another thing that i always think is a cool gender is girls who understand femininity as non-necessary addition and arent afraid of#masculinity being a detractor in their appearance#this includes things like girls who talk openly about their dick or dont tuck or a girl i saw recently who rocked a full beard with#lashes a wig and a full beat#and donning a butch identity as a trans girl is always a 'cool gender' moment. especially if she feels little to no need to change much#about herself. the pressures to change yourself as even a cis woman are so high that cis women earn 'cool gender' points from other cis#women for openly combatting them by not performing. the same should be extended to trans sisters#i feel like the 'cool gender' moments most often live in autistic transmasc communities. who are more interested in the metaphysical.#(and there are less fun masculine compliments out there to give so cool gender exists to fill that hole)#but i agree with her. more trans girls and transfeminine people should be seen as people with 'cool genders'#not thinking of donning femininity when thinking of cool genders is indeed misogynistic. dare i say transmisogynistic#hope you guys enjoy me dickriding (so to speak) for the girls every few months. as pippa has pointed out to me many times its a core part o#who i am#what did she just send me hold on#'i prefer “niche enjoyer” to chaser actually'#(in response to me saying something about trans women being the niche in the lgbt im most drawn to. theres no way to say that without#it sounding weird. something something fetishisation often means genuine appreciation reads as predatory making uncomplicated love seem#impossible which further marginalises the fetishised community etc... im just chatting shit u get what i mean)#im like a platonic chaser. unless youre interested in doing something unlabelled with an emphasis on the psycho of psychosexual in the note#i would say that that role has already been filled but who is interested in upholding monogamy in this day and age

the constellation that vega’s namesake is apart of is Lyra the Harp
Said harp being the one Orpheus was gifted by Apollo
Now theorize.
#we heard bits and pieces about the demons namesakes from a previous elliot vid#but i’m just like 🤔🤔#but also#this is related i swear#i read a theory on here that gavin is trans#because the og star name is vindemiatrix which has a feminine#and -ix is a feminine suffix#while vindemiator#-tor is a masculine suffix#so mayhaps gavin just swapped his name to the masculine equivalent but still ended up choosing a name that felt more ‘him’ on terra#could also be why he dislikes having to change his form 👀👀#cause he chose ‘this’ one and it’s the one he feels the most comfortable with#trans gavin supremacy#smooching his face rn#anyways vega#i just think the myth about#losing someone you love and losing them all over again sort of representing vega is smth to think about#redacted asmr#redacted audio#asmr boyfriend#boyfriend asmr#redactedverse#redacted vega#vega

Sek’s Wards: Sveyko and S’veyk
Their biological mother fell in love with a Klingon and ran off to be with him when they were both in their teens and they were very happy. Unfortunately, her family was not as happy and basically disowned her. When her bondmate hit his pon farr she was compelled to go back home, both because of the bond but also because she and her Klingon partner wanted their bond to be recognized by her family. It was incredibly important for some reason. Unfortunately again, the man she loved was killed during the kal-if-fee and she married her bondmate instead, unable to fight for some reason. A few months later the reason for both of these things was revealed to be the twins, belonging to her Klingon lover. The twins’ mother died when they were quite young and their father + the rest of their biological family were very cruel to them. Their father had long since lost his logic and blamed them for the way his life turned out, meanwhile the rest of the family was negligent and refused to speak of or interact meaningfully with the children. Sek came across them while visiting the house to speak to their father about something work related, as they were both teachers. Sek was immediately disturbed by their appearance (their living conditions were obviously poor but the house and its other occupants were fine. They also appeared to be very afraid/aggressive.) Sek reported his suspicions to the proper authorities and their legal father was tried and placed in a rehabilitation center but it quickly became an anti-custody battle because neither the girls’ Vulcan nor Klingon relatives wanted to house them. Sek stayed with them throughout this process and enlisted the help of his siblings Asil (private eye) and Elieth (politician) to help him understand the legalese and government systems more. Eventually, Sek took them in as wards so they would have a stable place to recover until they were put in a better home. However, after a few years he petitioned to house them permanently and all parties agreed that that ‘would be best.’
#their names are the Vulcan equivalent of like...if you named kids Amelie and Aimee#their legal father named them and obviously cared a LOT#there's a difference between adoption and having a ward in Vulcan society that I made up#I think it's a rather old concept - many people sent their children to be wards of those who had more power#In Vulcan's modern day it just means that you're seen more as a teacher than a parental guardian in the eyes of the law#(Ex: When Tuvok was disowned by his father he became a ward to the temple)#Sek chose to declare himself a Warden instead of a Father because he wanted the girls to be able to choose for themselves when they grew#old enough to make that decision if they saw him as a father or not.#Sveyko#S'veyk#their names are quite masculine bc their legal father also named them after himself#if his name's Maximillion he named them Maxie and Maxine#beas ocs#star trek ocs#[REDACTED] family shenanigans#the girls are delightful by the way - their 'aggressive behavior' was due to their terrible situation and their fear#bea art tag#I love Sek's little family that I made up <3#T'Nia bonds with them because she also had a bad home life (more on that when I actually properly introduce her)#<- I've drawn her before but I mean like a post dedicated to her

A question for America: why the fuck do conservative blame everything on jews/women/immigrants and gay people? I have counted 3 channels (Münecat hbomberguy and jacob geller) that were researching an argument and then suddendly the argument becomes sentient enough to mutter the word "adrenochrone" in a dying tone
Like- what the fuck?
#america#and their absence of braincells#all this talk about the left but all lefties do is being depressed and broke#like you have two choices in america#its either third reich or starbucks employee with a pride pin#and you chose the first one because you guys think homophobia = comedy#also stop it with the masculinity#it feeds the anxiety in males#seriously wtf is wrong with yall back there

Idk if it’s different for yt folks but the post claiming ppl “respect” or “are cool with” afab nb ppl is always… confusing to me.
Like we should absolutely highlight how ppl treat amab nb or trans fem non-binary folks like garbage but like.. most lgb+ space don’t respect or acknowledge afab nb folks either. It’s either constant erasure or demonization.
#rant#rambling#transmasc#like I’ve been straight up told to my face in an inclusive tm space#that because I chose to wear fem clothes to the activity I’m a dick for correcting ppl about my pronouns#while at the same time being seen as a hyper masculine predator when I pissed them off#not to mention this has happened to me in trans spaces as well#bc to them I’m functionally a woman dispute being constantly called a man in cis spaces before I even realized I was trans

#alright might delete this later because I avoid discourse for the most part#so#while I feel a lot of things this season would have worked better with some more breathing room#I’m happy with all the story beats they chose to play this season#i saw a take that was basically ‘Izzy mirrored Ed’s relationship to the toxic masculinity of the pirating world’#’he was tormented by it in the first season and then in the second it softened and died’#and I think that works pretty well symbolically#a lot of people are trying to analyze the show as if these are real people being put through real things#when at they end of the day they are characters representing symbols and ideas and pieces of real people#basically I’ve seen a few people saying that Izzy’s death negates the theme of this show being queer love and joy#and that really annoyed me because I don’t think it’s true#and I think in a show with so many queer characters you can give them room to explore one dying#I feel like if we’d had more time it could have been more nuanced and we could have seen more of the characters reactions#but we had 4hrs total of television this season#and they had so much story they wanted to tell#and I feel like they also wanted to make sure things were resolved in case they didn’t get renewed#and that means they had to put in the beats they felt were most important#without a lot of room to breathe between those beats#so in conclusion i liked this season#i really wish we had more of it#but I appreciate what we have#and I hope we get a s3

I want to know if modern audiences foaming at the mouth accusing people like H of "baiting" would say that about Elvis now too. omg! HE WORE MAKEUP. PINK. SPARKLY SHIT. in his case, while being straight. OFFENSIVE! 😱
the elvis erasure tbh.
Those glittering garments with their embroideries and nailhead patterns or paste gem barnacles were precursors to the stage-wear worn by every pop star — Prince, David Bowie, Harry Styles — who ever invited his fans to feast their eyes on him erotically. (x)
people incensed that a man would dare to wear *checks notes* pink and rhinestones and fringe...the horror
i keep thinking about this because it's still some embedded biased ideas projected onto artists, except now THE CALL IS COMING FROM INSIDE THE HOUSE?!?! elvis was met with judgement and scrutiny for his style (sartorial and musical), his fashion and presentation were deemed a threat by some, due to stringent concepts and preconceived notions about sexuality/race/gender, and it was later weaponized against him for other unkind reasons. but those with that more biased mindset are still doing that to people, except now it's ALSO being perpetuated by many who ought to understand acceptance and why the blurring and breaking of those rigid boundaries and boxes is important. make it make sense.
bring back manly men, i guess
bonus because of whatever is happening here
#we talk about h's and e's pink suit parallels and sparkly jumpsuit parallels let's also mention the black leather suit parallels#h couldn't have *portrayed* him but there are things he's directly drawn from him whether consciously or not#also before anyone yells at me for real yes many other artists have done this#and we owe a debt to men of color/poc and the queer community#what i am saying is that it is absurd to call someone wearing pink or silver sparkles queerbaiting lol#i have thoughts about the fact that because el embodied a very obvious masculinity but then sort of self-subverted it#and chose those styles and the sensuality etc it made them even more outraged#i love this topic btw#not the baiting part the cultural connections part#anonymous#letterbox#elvis presley#sorry to every follower who is not this anon for this post amen 🖤#i was a dreamer

Seeing terfs on tumblr makes me unreasonably angry
This is the safe space website where all the cool queer and neurodivergent folks hang out
Why the fuck are those losers on here except to spend hours of their time seeking out people to personally hate on?
I hope they all get curb stomped for infinity in hell where they belong
#vent#babbles#they unironically love and support jk rowling and spread her twitter bs here#they claim to be all about supporting women but constantly shame each other over the tiniest details that they see as unfeminine or sexist#even when it's a harmless thing that the person has every right to chose to do#so many of them will say religion is inherently misogynistic and its such a clear attempt to hide their racism#because what they mean is wearing hijabs is misogynistic praying to a masculin depiction of god is misogynistic#but witchy white religious women who call god a woman are woke and feminist icons#i need to take a breather and calm down#these assholes get me too worked up#terf mention

#not to be that guy #but I read the post as poorly worded but well intentioned #men can still struggle with internalised misogyny and working through that #think a lot of people on this post just jumps right to the 'oh so you're misogynistic?!?? a thousand deaths for all men' #can you guys at least have a little bit nuanced thinking than only barking that men are evil?? for once? #men can struggle with unlearning something they've been thought their entire life gdi #idk #just kinda think the agreessive barking is a bit...excessive
Fucking thank you for saying this
a contender for dumbest post I’ve seen on here… literally ‘let men hate women’
#this hellsite is so stupid and toxic w its lack of nuance and reading comprehension#the whole point of this post however awkwardly it's worded is that if someone is struggling w shit and trying to unlearn things#they're still deserving of love EVEN if other people aren't willing to be around em until they stop acting on those beliefs#too many peeps in their early 20s pulling this black-and-white shit and saying 'you have internalized biases! binned 4ever scum!'#and it makes me sick#contrary to the tumblr echo chamber's belief men CAN actually unlearn this shit. and be aware of it before they unlearn it.#(to think the word 'struggle' would've clued op in to what the statement was supposed to be about. because 'struggle' implies resistance)#(as in resistance to what they're experiencing and feeling. but nah. op just chose to be silly and reductive bc they wanted to rage farm)#i also checked out op's blog and they're complaining that they have to block people who are pointing the above things out#yet the post is brand new so they could've just turned off reboobs.#they're 'too lazy' to turn off reboobs which is like 3 clicks. but not too lazy to keep blocking people over and OVER again apparently.#the fact they haven't done it is kinda telling. do they want attention? validation for pointing out an imagined problem? both? idk.#but there are healthier and less manipulative ways to get attention and validation than that. trust me#misogyny#toxic masculinity#sexism#gender#gender roles

Occasionally I say some hardcore profound things
#today's lesson is wonder why your teacher seems completely retarded#grease destabilized#just a few nano bots of spicy chicken and turkey sausage#a few nano nano leftovers of taco tuesday taco bell sauce#so strong....so fucking Masculine#Masculinity is toxic where I come from but that is close to where all the girls come from#like kim is supposed to be in brooklyn zoo right now#and that's really insane considering the state of things there#maybe I called the ooze of life and brought Arthur back#I just got the bones walking again#🤔 the artwork is ironic because I knew he was cremated but I still chose lightning#ground and bones for his return#when you hear the legend is Arthur us destined to return to Earth and I turn around and he is calling me a child

Sam Reid casually using neutral pronouns and nouns referring to a fan they met the other day warmed my heart btw.
#i don't know if that's the person's pronouns or he just used them because he didn't know so he chose to be neutral#but i love that so much#specially because i always see people that use two pronouns being called just by feminine/masculine and never the neutral ones#like demi is literally a they/she non-binary person and everyone just uses she even though they use both referring to herself#it also reminded me when gerard corrected an interviewer about his ALIEN fictional character pronouns lol it wasn't even a real person#but he was serious and i love them for it#these are the kind of people that make me have some faith in hollywood and the entertainment industry and the world yk#my heart is so warmmmmmmm
