She smiles softly at the other ninja, taking note of the insects flying around him. She's heard about the Aburame clan and their unique connection with insects of all kinds. This is the first time she's ever spoken to one of them though.

"I-It's okay, r-really." she says, looking to the side bashfully. "And, Um, it's v-very n-nice to meet you." Feet shift in place awkwardly, eyes of blue glancing in his direction again. "Thank you. Um, it's --- it's nice to --- to talk to someone who understands. I --- I can t-talk to mammals a-and birds mostly." she comments. It's not the only ability she possesses, but it is one of her favorites.

"I apologize, I didn't mean to scare it away." Shino monotonously says, closing the distance until he's just a few feet away. The girl's stuttering reminds him of Hinata, be it from shyness or something else, Shino patiently waits for her to finish speaking. The girl whom he now knows to be Lenny Grayson. What a strange last name...

"Aburame, Shino." He nods, light reflecting against his sunglasses. A few insects leisurely fly around him, some more stay unmoving on his shoulders. "The ability to talk to animals is unusual but to me, it is not weird. The reason is that I can communicate with insects." Plus, his teammate, Kiba, can communicate perfectly with his dog. Animal communication is a theme around him and he loves to meet new people who also can do similarly. "What other animals can you talk to?"

I have scoliosis and most days I wake up with some sort of back or shoulder pain. My scoliosis may keep me from roleplaying sometimes.

I have scars on my knuckles from an accident I had on my bike as a kid. I haven't ridden a bicycle in years because of this.

I wear glasses to help me see. I have astigmatism so everything is blurry both close up and far away for me.

I've been a roleplayer since the year 2011 and I started out on FeralFront - which used to be called WarriorCatsrpg. The site is now an archive, but I can still view my old profile and when I do it says I started roleplaying on Feb 11th in the year of 2011.

I started roleplaying on tumblr in the year 2017. I left FeralFront behind because most of my friends weren't there anymore and I wanted to roleplay yugioh. Which lead to me creating Lenny Grayson and later moving over Annaleigh Lancaster. Along with many other characters over the years.

I prefer to write female characters, because it's easier for me.

Most of my characters have differing personalities. With some of my original characters, I like to add a hint of myself to them. Whether that be through their personality or maybe something they like.

I have been spending a lot of my time on Annaleigh's blog the past two days. I just haven't done any writing here yet because I want to remake her icons.

EXPERIENCE // HOW MANY YEARS :: I've been a roleplayer since February 2011. Which makes it 12 years!! OH WOW. I've been writing since I was about 13 years old. I started out on Warriorcatsrpg / Feralfront, may that site rest in peace. And then I moved to tumblr in 2017 where I started writing my oc Lenny Grayson. Followed by the ocs Jillian Nakamura and Annaleigh Lancaster. I've also had a handful of sideblogs that never got anywhere, a few multimuse blogs, and a few one off blogs that I later abandoned/deleted.

RP PET PEEVES :: When people don't read my rules or ignore them. My rules are there so I can let people know what I'm comfortable with and I can tell when someone hasn't read them. I also hate it when those pesky bots interact with my blogs. (Everyone should know which bots I'm talking about.) I also don't like it when people use really tiny roleplay icons/gifs. I'm talking icons so small it's hard to tell what the character looks like.

FLUFF, ANGST, OR SMUT :: Fluff and Angst! I've never written smut and I don't know if I ever will.

PLOTS OR MEMES :: Both! I love plotting things out with people and being sent memes. Memes are actually one of the best ways to start interactions with me.

LONG OR SHORT REPLIES :: Both, but I try to write medium to long replies if I have something of that length to respond to.

TIME TO WRITE :: I usually check tumblr on mobile in the afternoon/evenings. Then at night is usually when I'm here on my pc. My writing has been pretty sporadic the past few months. Some days I'm working on replies and others I'm just scrolling through the dash.

ARE YOU LIKE YOUR MUSES :: I think I can relate to both Lenny and Annaleigh in different ways. Some of Lenny's personality and likes is similar to my own. While with Annaleigh, loss is something we've both dealt with and I can relate to her pain.

Eyes of blue are downcast with guilt, as her boyfriend clings to her body. If it wasn't for the tiny, tabby kitten in her arms, she would have hugged him back. Instead, she stands there awkwardly, a hand running over the kitten's fur. She can feel the kitties backbone and ribs as she pets it. The poor kitten is so skinny, it's fur feeling disheveled and unkept as she touches it. This little one is going to need to see a vet soon.

"It's alright. D-don't apologize. I was reckless. I --- I c-c-could've been hurt." she responds. Blue eyes start to well up with tears as she looks up at her boyfriend. She knows her actions hurt him "I didn't, didn't mean to scare you. I --- I wasn't thinking." she apologizes.

"You, you mean the world to me. I love you with all of my h-heart. I --- don't know what I'd do without you." Lenny places a soft kiss to his cheek.

He hadn't quite meant to snap as hard as he had, but that had been terrifying to witness. It just proved how much the girl had come to mean to him - as he didn't even want to imagine a world without her. He could feel himself shaking a little as he pulled her into a gentle embrace, careful to allow space for the cat, even though he wished to pull her close and never let go again. Animals were important to her, and therefore he was trying to allow them to be important to him too - but if it came between Lenny's safety and a cats - his girlfriend would always come first. He could feel his heart racing as he scanned over her figure, looking for any signs of any type of injury...but it seemed as though she was simply just out of breathe from moving as quickly as she had. "I was...I'm sorry too. I shouldn't have snapped like that...". He sighed lightly, his hand gently rubbing into her back, though he wasn't quite sure if he was attempting to comfort himself or Lenny at the moment.

"Please...just be a little more careful...I couldn't...I couldn't survive without you..."
