on july 31 of 2023, the first member of our mémoire was finally announced. she was revealed to be nam haeun, also known by her stage name serenity. this came as a pleasant surprise to many, as she hadn’t been seen nor heard from since her departure from pledis in 2020.

after this announcement, it was revealed that serenity had signed with délavé in 2021, a year after she had left pledis, and that plans for her debut had been in motion since then, but postponed due to ‘external circumstances’. while it is unknown what these circumstances are, serenity kindly asks people to respect her privacy, and that she will tell when she is ready.

or at least circumstances were unknown. about a week after the release of haeun’s memorabilia, user peachiesz, who is well known for being close to the idol, revealed that her debut had to be postponed due to her having ‘inappropriate relations’ with her then manager, and revealed that the two had been seeing each other from even before her departure from pledis.

and if this news wasn’t shocking enough, peachiesz went on to reveal that the two even supposedly had children together – namely, a daughter. to further back this up she posted photos of the alleged daughter, although making sure to blur her face. the post read as follows :

‘ i love haeun as much as the next person, but as her friend i’ll be the first to admit that something is not right with her. she left pledis for a man who doesn’t give two shits about her, gave up her first chance of re - debut for him and then went on to have his kid.

he is such a nasty man too and they both know it. not going to name names but you guys are smart and can probably guess. anyways thanks for coming to my ted talk and i want that man JOBLESS ’

fans are torn between believing the news and the likelihood that it could be fake. délavé and haeun have yet to comment, but a day after the post went up peachiesz would reveal that she had been blocked by haeun on everything.

Some exciting news involving.. Er... Physics!

I need to show you what �aver and ᓚᘏᗢ have been working on in the physics department at the lab! I think the Minecraft Cheese blocks we received at the lab gave them some inspiration!

Yesterday �aver sent me this!!

[Video of �aver messing with a wooden box. He opens the bottom and plops down... A table. Then he picks it back up and it's a box again. There is a palpable sense of excitement on camera, even though in the video he appears calm because it's a showcase of the object.]

Look what they made!!! It's an object that has different properties based on how it's being handled and can toggle between being an Item (holdable and storable) and furniture!

His explanation for how this was accomplished was... Honestly a little heady. Apparently the box counts as an inventory slot, and it's been modified to also be part of the table. So basically the team has managed to achieve a state in which the Table has been placed Inside of itself. So now it's state, either item or furniture, is determined by whether or not it is touching the floor.

I am not fully sure how this state was achieved, only that it was allegedly extremely difficult to do! Apparently there are also some quirks to this, such as the table going back into its box if it gets rocked too hard...

But even so, what an incredible breakthrough! This could actually be a huge development in the way we approach storage and accessibility! Still very much in the working stages though.

They're still testing other physical attributes of the blocks as well at the department. �aver got one stuck to the ceiling. Apparently they stick to walls too.

This is just fascinating.

Neteyam, at a very young age, is trained alongside many of the young Omaticayan warriors.

He met and made great friends, as well as knew everyone around him while grown up, as he was a boy who honored everyone's story. Some of his fellow young warriors were orphaned and some were born just after the great battle between the Na'vis and the Skypeople.

And one, in particular, of all those he's met who he trained arm in arm, was a girl. His first ever love interest, his childhood sweetheart, the only ever girl he's dreamt to be with his entire adolescence. She was his first love, maybe even his last. She was such a wonder to him, he found her the most interesting creature that he's ever laid his eyes on. The first time they met was the happiest day for him. Getting to know her? Even so. She just had something in her that made him feel happy.

And she was a girl who was closely supervised under the guidance of his grandmother, Mo'at. She was a mindful young warrior, and a tsahik in the making.

As he is Olo'eyktan's first born son, he found this an opportunity to create a close relations with her. It makes sense. After all, is he is the chief's son, wouldn't that make him his father's successor? And as the next Olo'eyktan, he is to be promised to a eligible tsakarem. He was ecstatic over it and hoped for the day to come. So he patiently waited. However, he didn't just wasted his time waiting for it to happen, he needed to make sure it will happens. And so, along with his attempts to exceed the expectations as Toruk Macto's son, he also efforted on a girl along side it.

She was all he ever thought about throughout his years as a young warrior. There were chances he would ask elder na'vi males innocent questions how to bag a girl, or how to charm a girl into liking him back. He would also, although shyly, confront na'vi women on how to make simple flower crown, or bracelets and jewelries and even practice the art of kneading and crafting what the women of his clan would usually do. And although he did as what he was told, he didn't exactly think it would work nor did it even work on her.

He remembered failing to even impress her with his poorly knitted snood, or when he gave her letters confessing his love. Or the time when he tried to sing to her while she was eating which almost caused her to choke to death from laughter. At least she laughed, but he sulked his way to sleep after being scolded by his mother and grandmother, feeling extremely guilty for having to be the one that caused it. He couldn't sleep the entire night that happened, and even attempted to sneak out just to see how his love was doing. If it weren't for his sister catching him, and all he could do was ask for comfort and advice from his clueless sister, Kiri, who didn't even know what to do to him.

Lo'ak and Spider definetly didn't help much with cheering him up as well, all Neteyam ever knew he did was pull jokes and pranks on them that led them to a situation where they get to have fun and dilly dally as kids. And his father, he wasn't exactly sure how to feel about his young so developing such love for someone at his age, but he supported them countless time and even took advantage of the fact that he was Olo'eyktan. At some point, he even almost decided to have the two be promised to each other, of it wasn't for Eywa interfering.

But aside from that, there were some chances where Neteyam would constantly follow her around, hoping that his presence would be acknowledged by his love. And there were times where hope did come around, surprising him and making him feel content than ever. Neteyam was a sweet and desperate blue little rascal, wanting to get the attention of his sweetheart.

Her, on the other hand, just accepted her faith. Neteyam was a sweet boy, a gentleman who was very VERY serious about what he felt towards her. And although they were ten, she didn't have much choice but to accept him, even if she didn't really have the heart to tell him that she didn't feel comfortable having a boy feel responsible to be her future mate.

As a matter of fact, she thought of it as some kind of burden, at some point in her life. She would have Neytiri tell her how adorable they were, calling them like a 'mini couple', even if she was just minding her business and Neteyam was just goofily watching her do her thing. She liked the boy, truly. But not romantically enough to have the entire clan go bonkers and be extremely advanced with setting her and Neteyam up to be each other's promised mate.

The boy was happy, and that's all she ever wanted for him. But she wasn't, and she couldn't blame him for that so she instead blames herself. She felt distresses and guilty not having the same love and care that Neteyam had for her. If she did, she would be happy. Was it her fault that she was like him? To have a another to occupy her mind as a kid? A sweetheart of her own that she liked but couldn't tell if it's hopelessly unrequited? How burdensome, the emotions she felt. And for Eywa's sake, she was just a child and she already had the weight of such situation.

She felt troubled having to knows that every time she would look away from Neteyam, she worried that he would see her adoring someone else just as how he does to her. It would break her heart, and she would feel responsible for his pain too. She needed it to end, she just didn't feel the same way. And she needed to free herself from his 'feelings' and to have the freedom of also having a childhood sweetheart. Wouldn't that be great?

Neteyam could feel his heart break into multiple pieces the day he realizes the long years of his love for her turned out to be unrequited. He was fourteen when it all came to an end, and he was a boy so hopelessly in love that he couldn't take in the lie he was told as a mere boy who only wanted to have her attention, he adoration, her care, her warmth. He only ever wanted her, she was his home, and even as she found her new mate- her own love, he still was in love with her. And he continued to endlessly do so, even if she didn't and will never feel the same.

It definetly pained him for his sweet love to label him as a brother after she had decided to choose another, and not him, as a mate. He fell in love with her, so young yet deeply in love. Even if it hurts, he learned to accept it until the day he, and his family, departed from the clan where he left her with one last loving and sorrowful smile, symbolizing the young and lively love he had once have for her to finally end.

Even so, as he took his last breath, dying on a cold boulder in the middle of a reef he was forced to call his home, his mind was still occupied by her once loving presence when they were still young. His family watched as his life flashed before their eyes, until his last breath. Neteyam thoughts of his childhood sweetheart until he caved out of a world that only ever failed him.

♛ - What is your muse's relationship with their grandparents like?

Honestly? Shanks has zero idea who his grandparents are, his fathers are Roger and Rayleigh since he has no idea where he's from so there are no grandparents in the picture for him. The only grandfather kind of figure he has is Whitebeard, but the old man was a grandfather/Uncle figure considering he's known Shanks since he was a Cabin boy.

ᓚᘏᗢ - Did your muse grow up with pets in the house? Do they have them, now? If so, what kind? Talk about them a little!

No pets growing up since the seas were far too dangerous for pets, he would easily joke that the closest thing he had to a pet as a child was Buggy, but he's also massively protective of the boy who was practically his brother... And these days, monster doesn't count as a pet since they are true crew member on the Red Force.

☾ - Who in your muse's family are night owls? Are they more productive at night than they are during the day? How late do they normally stay up?

Past family, the night owls were most likely Rayleigh and Crocus, the two of them probably staying up and lamenting about their Captain and his mischief often. Present family, Benn is definitely one of them, keeping an eye on the crew as they drank and making sure they all got back to their home safe before he settled down himself. I imagine Beck definitely gets more done during the night because he's not dealing with his Captain's penchant for mischief in the evening.

✄ - Has your muse cut some or all of their family off? Are they close to someone else as a surrogate?

Okay... so my backstory for Killian is based off of an amazing song called Compass by Sail North so some of his history is based off of that.

Killian cut his parents off when he was just a teenager. He ran away from home when he was seventeen, the age that his son decided to fly the nest, and began to travel. His father wasn't the warmest of men, nor did he believe in his son and so he ran the moment he could and resulted in making his own crew; said crew began with his First Mate William Smee who became his surrogate father when the man began to look out for him. He also ended up with a brother in all but blood with Gaston.

☼ - Who in your muse's family are early risers? Are they productive in the morning? Does your muse love or loathe morning people?

Hook is an early riser, born from years on the seas, he wakes early to see the sunrise but also wakes early to handle business due to running the Tavern. CJ is also an early riser since she loves finding out different adventure stories from the docks so that she can write her books; Harry however... the only thing that will get him up is a bucket of water, though it changes when he wakes up by his partners side.

☘︎ - What is your muse's family's luck like?

Both good and bad. The Good part of the Hook luck was with Killian managing to survive his teenage years and sail the seas without being killed until he met his wife. Katie's luck was just the same as her husbands until the pregnancy with Harry... That was when the bad luck began to over take the good.

Harry has a lot of bad luck that he's inherited from his parents.

⚠︎ - Has your muse inherited an illness or mental health disorder from their family? If so, what is it and how does it affect them?

Does invulnerability count as an illness? especially once it woke up for him after Whole Cake?

Technically he hasn't inherited an illness of mental health disorder from his family, but his birth father did cause Sanji to develop anxiety, claustrophobia and some issues with his self-worth.

୨ৎ - Does your muse share well with their family? What are some things that they're not as willing to share?

Family of birth? HELL NO!

Family of choice? Sanji will often give up his own share of food to his family of choice since he has a few issues with eating since he was a child. He also has never informed his crew of his own allergies so he will happily share his food to them if it helps him avoid that; however, he will sometimes keep strawberries aside because it's his favourite food.

ଳ - What sorts of activities does your muse participate in with their family? Do they look forward to it or dread it?

Sanji will participate in almost everything with his crew, mainly because he's forever grateful that Luffy chose to see the good before even knowing him. He'll join in with them whenever they request his presence unless he's busy experimenting with recipes.

I don't know how to describe it exactly why but I got a massive mental burnout the other day. It may be not my bestest decision to share it here but I feel writing it down is better than keeping it for myself.

All the bad things that happened and still happen to me caught up. I feel awful. I lie awake the whole night only to break out in tears when my partner woke up. There was too much in my head to even spell out what exactly made me break down.

I am looking for a job for years, trying to get a normal daily shedule only to never get an answer and to fuck up my sleep shedule for the 100th time. I am getting 25 this year. My depression and panic disorder I developed when covid began seemed to 'heal' in a way. I went to group therapy, got medication which I still take to this day. I am stuck because I have trouble doing phone calls. Trouble TIPING IN numbers for real therapists.

Time is awful. When will I be done with learning a job? I will be 28 if it happens someone recruits me this year. And then I work. I will have so much less time for things I like. Speaking of which: I catch myself falling into the 'I don't enjoy the things I normally enjoyed' loop again. That was one of the main reasons for taking antidepresants and it now seems to crawl back.

I want to at least do something I enjoy. Writing, drawing, playing video games. I started to feel little joy in it again. It makes me angry to not be happy with my time. I don't want this.

I text my family less and less not because I am mentally exhausted but because of their believes. All except my dad (which I always had little contact to) openly and proudly boast about how they vote right wing parties in Germany. You can't discuss with them. I can't. Because I instantly start crying like some trauma haunted 12 year old back in the day when my mom raised her voice. This party I am speaking of actively stands for traditional beliefs, inbetween against lgbtqia+ (which, surprise, I am part of).

They only see points they like. "Oh, they won't get this through, you will be fine." BUT YOU VOTE FOR THESE BELIEVES. You actively support these anti lgbtqia+ shit only because you are racist and intolerant towards NORMAL PEOPLE who live their lives in Germany like everybody else for years.

Next thing is they hate my partner. Something that really only was a question of time passing. My mother always seems to dislike my and my sisters partners after some time. Finding little things she can pick on and passive aggressively point them out. Making everyone awkward and feeling unwelcomed. I feel unwelcome. It is my partner. My choice. You despite my choice and thus insult me with it. Family gatherings became horrible. My partner doesn't want to say anything because he is scared to 'mess up' and my mother getting fuel for her hatred. My sister is young and living with her. She took on my mother's believes politcal wise. I love her dearly but I feel like she also only plays mirage only to talk bad behind my back, which she usually does with other people.

I feel so alien. I don't even want to drive over there to my birthday. I would love to but it doesn't feel like my family anymore. It feels all so forced. My dog gets older too. He is the reason I still look forward a little bit when visiting them.

Writing this feels good in a way tho. Even if I know the majority of my moots only as little guys in my screen, I feel loved. I will observe my mental state these next weeks. If it doesn't get better, I'll call my doc and ask if we can higher my dosis. Just so I can think clearly and focus on important matters.

‘ idyll is only the most nasty man to exist ever. he was the first artist to debut under délavé in 2009, but once he fell off he became more of a mentor. the only issue being he was mentoring mostly girls ( since délavé’s boy to girl trainee ratio is almost non - existent ) and was an over all creep towards them. haeun was the first and only girl he went after that wasn’t his company, and even then he was seeing like five other girls at the time and probably still is. ’

‘ the only thing he has going for him is that he’s hot and makes semi - decent music, and yet haeun will defend this man to the ends of the earth. although i guess i’d go pretty ga - ga too if my man looked like this. ’

no i totally get that. i sometimes miss being in the office working and seeing everyone. but it sounds like a massive pain tbh bc the only people in the office are people that cannot work from home. Either they have no Internet or it's impossible for them but every time someone tests positive, everyone gets sent home. They close the building down for 14 days but those people who can't work from home? They can't really do anything but sit around. Plus with the omicron, they straight up will not allow anyone into the office UNLESS you have a good enough reason to not work from home. So whether I like it or not, I'm working from home.

also!!!! i made my first gif!!!! i was like, screw it, im gonna download photoshop, it's like £7 a month or something (like 10 dollars?) so i watched a three year old tutorial on youtube, struggled massively, swore 927 times. the end result is just TERRIBLE but it's practice and i will keep practising :)))) took me two bloody hours to do though 😭😭😭 but hopefully, I can make your little jake gifset soon. probably in 2022 💖 i'm off work this friday so will do some more practice work then :)

AND i saw ur gif!!!! you did great for a started tbh (also hshhds idk if it's just me but once you start making gifs/visual content, it's gonna be addicting lol. i was on writeblr too and when i started giffing i just....i never stopped. i dropped writeblr lmao.) my first gif was a freaking mess compared to your first gif. you have the talent!!! just a little practice but you'll continuously develop anw. i'm still figuring out coloring stuff. it's great to find tutorials too here on tumblr about giffing. they're really a big help!!!

while délavé have yet to debut their first group, the company is well known for their myriad of talented trainees, most of which who have been seen on survival shows such as produce 48, girl’s planet 999 and idol school to name a few. they are also the company which manages and promotes popular soloist idyll.

as of july 20th, however, it had been announced that the company is working on the debut of their first group through the project ‘our mémoire’. this news sent fans into a frenzy, and everyone seems to be patiently anticipating the group’s debut. below we’ll be discussing the estimated debut date, possible faces we might in the lineup, and the team behind the dream.

DEBUT DATE DISCUSSIONS

a lot of things about this group remains a mystery, including the date of their debut. délavé, however, has given fans a rough pre - debut promotion schedule. this includes a series of photoshoots, covers, original songs and lives from the future members, known as memorabilia. given that the lineup will consist of six, fans assume the group will debut by the end of august, or early september at the latest.

THE POSSIBLE LINEUP

while the current lineup is unknown, the speculated lineup consists of nam haeun, jung minyoung, ishioka aimi, danielle rojas, son nayoung and jeup iseul.

nam haeun was a former member of pristin, who left pledis alongside former fromis_9 member nayoung. it was reported at some point in early 2021 that they had signed under délavé, but this was never confirmed nor denied. neither of the two have been public since their departures in 2020.

meanwhile, aimi and iseul were both competitors on produce 48, with aimi making into the lineup for iz*one. danielle also featured in the first produce 101, and then competed in girl’s planet 999 after that.

minyoung, however, has no history as an idol. she did modelling for a bit, and then worked as a producer, but as her mother is the ceo, fans have an inkling that she would definitely be one of the girls to debut in the company’s first group.

this is all, however, speculation, and nothing has been confirmed nor denied.

THE DREAM TEAM

despite the fact that the lineup hasn’t even been announced, délavé has announced the creative team behind the our mémoire project.

idyll – real name park yosung – is the executive creative director for the group, and is in charge of all things conceptual. he was the brains behind the memorabilia concept, and also hand chose the lineup himself. popular director and screenwriter myriam yeo is also a member of the team behind the group as the creative producer, and alongside yosung she brings his concepts to fruition.

head stylist and makeup artist indiana doyle posted a photo to her instagram of a dressing room with the caption ‘big things brewing’. two days later délavé confirmed that she was also working alongside myriam and yosung.

while not much has been revealed yet, fans patiently await any new updates on the group and their debut.
