Need to write a character dynamic where character A and C are dating and A and B are friends. B and C fucking hate each other in a sibling way. It’s not jealousy or anything they B just hates C and C isn’t fond of B. But they tolerate one another because A loves both of them very much.

My milk toast opinion is that I hate a cheating subplot in a comic. A) that shit is boring. I do not care at all. B) I genuinely don’t think some of them would do that.

Dick Grayson is a real lover and Matt Murdock sabotages all of his relationships so he can keep being a slut. But neither of them would cheat.

My take that I don’t think anyone will like is that between all the marvel and dc comics I’ve read, marvel can at times feel fairly non substantive.

I don’t think anyone cares to listen to me go into it but I will say marvel characters can feel very flat at times in that they’re archetypical but don’t have much about them beyond that. And also most of the B plots are written so that I literally don’t give a fuck

I’ve said it before I’ll say it again the MCU would be 10x more fun interesting if there was a Black Widow movie in phase one. If we get on our P’s and Q’s then the process of Hydra shifting from the Nazis to the KGB to the American Government could be detailed. More info about the Winter Soldier Program. Natasha and Bucky’s ties to one another become more evident. Clint becomes a more interesting/empathetic character due to his ties with Nat.

The MCU held out so much fucking info on us to the detriment to the complexity and intrigue of the story.
