I'm crazy about this I need a husband!rafe x reader who have twins (both boys) I need it
omg i love this !!
Ok ok let’s start with the kids. The oldest is eleven years old and his names Stephan. Stephan is definitely more of a mamas boy. Rafe’s relationship with Stephan is still good but i feel like perhaps still a bit rocky since i 100% believe that Rafe wasn’t the best father when Stephan was born.. caught up more in his work then with Stephan and was for the early years of Stephans childhood. When Stephan was around eight was when his and Rafe’s relationship was the most rocky. Stephan felt neglected by Rafe and so he often acted out whenever Rafe would try and tell him what to do. Calling him a ‘jerk’ and what not. This behaviour sparked lots of arguments between the two but eventually Rafe sat down and realized what he had to change. After this little phase of Stephans Rafe started working less and started teaching Stephan soccer and eventually signed him up for a team for Stephans ninth birthday. Wants to start playing hockey.
The youngest is Tobias though is commonly called Toby. He’s eight years old and is more of a daddys boy ! A bit bratty but very clingy. Doesn’t remember when Rafe was more absent from their lives at all. He’s a lil artist and there’s proof on the walls 💞 Also plays soccer ‘n started when he was five. Toby and Stephan both play soccer in the backyard all the time.
Rafe is a total family man, always has been. Just when Stephan and Toby were younger he was more focused on providing financially for the family. Now he’s a lot more involved in the kids life. Volunteers at school events !! shows up to all of the kids soccer practices and games. His personality is so much more relaxed, friendly and charming when with his family. He absolutely dreads being like Ward, he often overthinks whenever he has a bicker with his kids.
After his Stephan was born he definitely tried to reconnect with Sarah more. After you gave birth and he got to hold and look in Stephans eyes his mind eventually found its way drifting back to Sarah.
Long story short; having kids definitely helped him grow up and mature a bit.
ugh omg there’s so much more i wanna write for this should i make this an au??

On my hands and knees begging adults to allow children to engage in risk play.
And by risk play I don't mean handing them a gun and playing Russian Roulette.
I mean like climbing trees, getting so sick spinning on the swing they throw up, balancing on the curb, sitting in the mud, walking on slippery surfaces, building half ass ramps to ride their bike over, standing on rocks, or anything that involves a smidgen of confidence and out of the box thinking that could result in injury.
Obviously like watch your kids and such, but when we talk about the fun of being an 80s or 90s kid, it's not just talking about CDs and Walkmans or not having iPads. It's about how kids today were robbed of critical learning and experience skills we were allowed to have.
Playgrounds disappearing, helicopter parents, and sue culture really destroyed a child's development in the United States, and I think it's about time we as adults recognize that, because the kids sure have.

>Join a union
>Hear people constantly complaining that the current union leadership is super corrupt, it's all just the same ten guys making all the decisions in secret and nobody else in the union ever gets to know what's going on
>Go to the monthly union meetings that are completely open to all 1200 union members
>The only attendees are the same ten guys every month, giving detailed reports about everything that's going on

this with Rafe and Ditzy!Reader
porn link ! (leads to twitter)
Omfg yes ??? Thank you for blessing my eyes with this 💞
Everytime without fail, before you two can fuck he has to suck on your tits for minutess before actually getting to it. Big or small, he doesn’t care, he loves all types of tits !! If you’re riding him you best bet that his mouth will be on your tits majority of the time.
Even when you guys are sleepy. It could be like two in the morning, you’re dozing off and ready for bed, but Rafe’s still pulling your shirt up and sucking on your tits. Bonus if you’re playing with his hair.
And with Ditzydoll!reader, part of the reason it’s so comforting for Rafe is because behind her silly outwardly appearance, she has an almost.. ‘motherly’(not in a weird way, i can’t think of the proper word 😭) vibe? She’s such a comforting and grounding presence for Rafe.

There was a phrase that I used in my classroom when my students would ask me about doing questionable things, and my response was always, "Technically you can, but should you?"
The reason I used this instead of a simple yes or no answer is because it opened up conversation. Instead of blindly looking for permission, the conversation became more about cause and effect. Usually it navigated the "well you can't tell me what to do I'm going to do it anyway" instinct in kids when I'd say no, because all they were looking for is something to challenge them.
For example: "Can I jump off the slide?"
"Technically you can, but should you?"
If they answer no, I'd ask why. Usually they'd say because it's against the rules or I don't know.
If they say it's against the rules, I'd ask them why they think it's a rule. And if they'd say I don't know, I'd explain that the slide is five feet off of the ground, and jumping that high is a good way to hurt your knees or worse.
And then the most important part: if you did do it, how can you make it safer?
That's when the creativity juices started to flow. I'd get anything from pillows to beds to bouncy shoes to wings to someone catching them (which became a whole different conversation). And I told them since we didn't have those things here, it wasn't safe. And safety is everyone's number one job at school.
It stopped them from doing it behind my back. It got them to engage in critical thinking. And it helped them figure out how to do things without help.
However, there's always been an itching thought in the back of my head. Somewhere out there, did one of my past students drag their mattress out to the slide and jump off of it?
