After about 2 weeks, Mumbo wakes up with lots of worried people fussing over them, an eye that is fully back to gray, and a nasty headache {passing out on solid ground is not good for your head} . The whole server pitches in to help him get better and out of bed. Stress and Scar with natural remedies, Wels with poems that are meant to bring wellness and hope to those who are sick (Hels, NPG and Joe do too, but those are in a demon-like [more cryptid-like for Joe] language that is a lot more like a serenade. Tango will never tell.), Renbob and Doc with various joint/muscle stretches (Impulse, Sense, and Ren swoon a lot. Also, did I mention that Doc, Ren and Sense dating before? Whoops), Grian helping him with stimming when he gets bored bc their both autistic(there are many neurodivergent people on this server, but that info doesn't really relate to anything else in the story, now does it?), And others helping out with various things that helped him out to get out of bed. Late at night, 3 days later, Xisuma, Grian, Scar, and Sense (That's short for PerfectSense aka Hels mumbo) all searched for answers as to what could have caused them to spiral out of control like that. In the afternoon, 1 whole day after the sleepover morning, it worked itself out of a blanket and pillow pile (who's? it has no idea) and walk outside. It was so groggy that it had no idea that there was a tripwire hook. Mumbo fell down a hole and landed in a water source block a good 150 block down. Mumbo slowly looks up and sees... All of the Petals, and well as Grian, his new boyfriends Zedaph, Etho, Doc and Tango (The night before was crazy, and Mumbo doesn't remember them getting together), as well as Herobrine (???) and X, in a cave-style research room (think a gaming room, mixed with a dorm room, underground), searching in ancient-looking books and tablets, and also chatting with each other. (Was that Six Flirting with Bdubs and Hels? Nah, couldn't have been) NPG pulls mumbo over to where X and Grian were doing magic/reading. (Grian is part watcher, but the watchers were good and so was all that other stuff)

"We were trying to figure out why it looks like your eye looks like it changes colors at times. But some of us got DISTRACTED!" He cupped is hands, yelling at Six and Hels, who were in the middle of flirting with Scar, Bdubs, and Ex (who I'm now going to call Alex, and is the only person who gets a name change). "X stumbled upon something called the Duality Effect, and he and Grian have been searching for symptoms, a cure or at least a way to control it. Can you tell him about the symptoms, X?"
