thinking about that time in 9th grade when, i was the only one on stage, even though everyone else was at the back, and my boy best friend asked me why my favourite play was “macbeth” as he was leaving to find the teacher and i was terrified.
and how a few months later, that play went to absolute shit while almost ruining theatre for me and making me question every single one of my relationships in the school.
and how he was seen as the starting point of the problem yet i was blamed for everything by the teacher when everyone involved just got away with all their faults because the attention wasn’t on them.
