Y/N meanwhile is living with an abusive boyfriend so getting this gig with Motley Crue would be able to help them out of their home. However, what happens when homelife is meeting studio life..?

Y/N sat down in the little lounge chair in the center of the studio. Today was once again another day where both Vince and Tommy were late. You really couldn't care less though they were always busy doing something else than being in the studio making their own fucking album... On the bright side you got to get away from home. Right now you'd probably be getting yellled at for something minut and insignificant. That's when the door flew open.

Tommy Lee, the biggest baddest drummer and sex maniac himself walked in. He looked around throwing his hands up "whats up with studio B?!" he yelled out. Nikki and Mick both doing their own things respectively looked up. Nikki got up and sighed approaching Tommy. He carefully set a hand on his shoulder. "Studio A's full..." Mick didn't seem so sure however as he looked at you. He still seemed concerned but silently nodded as he sat next to you. He grunted as his back was still aching up. He silently watched as Tommy stormed out of the studio with Nikki following behind. "Tommy's off his rocker..." he mumbeld to himself. You looked over sort of curious and confused. You knew something had been happening with Tommy but you had no idea what it was. "What's wrong with him..?" you asked both catiously and curiously. Mick looked over at you as he grabbed a bottle of water. He cleared his throat and took a drink. "Well... it's not really for me to tell but... you know he's married right? To Pamela Anderson?" Of course you knew, you were pretty sure the whole country knew. "Yeah of course, Baywatch girl" you said looking over at him. "Exactly" Mick said as he took another drink. "Well, they got their safe stolen awhile back... in that safe there was a.. certain tape..."

You stared at him a bit puzzled for a minute. "Like home movies or something..?" Mick scoffed and let out a quiet chuckle. "Wish it was like that..." You stared at him for awhile until it hit you... oh... how had you not heard about this?? You really weren't into watching the news though and defintiely weren't allowed to go looking for those types of tapes... Your boyfriend would probably backhand you if you brought one of those home. "So, it got leaked?" You hesitantly asked Mick. Mick nodded drinking down his water. "Yup, it's everywhere... and it's really getting to Tommy and Pam... plus they lost that baby awhile back..." he said quietly. You frowned hearing him.. no wonder Tommy was acting out... it was almost like nothing was going right for him... Mick leaned up and pat your back gently. "Don't worry about it though... I'm sure everything will get settled and he'll be back to the stupid little piece of shit he is...." He smiled trying to give you some hope.

You smiled back at him. He was always so kind to you, the other gusy were too but Mick more especially. That's when the door flung open and Tommy walked in. He looked most definitely pissed. "I guess were Elektras second choice band now guys!" he yelled and went over knocking over some symbols on his drumkit. You felt yourself jump at the noise. "Fucking Third Eye Blind?! who the fuck is that?!" he yelled as he kicked the drums. Mick got up carefully holding his back "Tommy, calm down, man". Tommy stared at him a deep frown on his face "We sold over 100 million fucking albums Mick!! and they treat us like were fucking dog shit!" he yelled. He crashed down a symbol. "Breaking their fucking equipment isn't going to help, Tom" Nikki said walking over.

Tommy glared at him but reluctantly stopped. He dropped to the ground and sat there. "Fuck... nothing's going right... Vince isn't here, My sex tape is leaked and Pam... You flinched as he brought his hand to your cheek. "This is my fucking apartment.... and my fucking TV, I paid for it, I get to say what the fuck you are watching.. got it?" he said looking at you. You stared down at the ground as you felt the tears filling your eyes.

Tommy finally looked up to see you staring at him "What the fuck are you looking at? huh?". You finally got out of your trance as you looked him up and down. "Nothing... I'm sorry about... about everything..." you said looking at him sincerely. Tommy just stared at you. "You don't know what it's like..." You stared at him for awhile. You didn't know what it was like? Did he have to go home everyday and walk on eggshells so he wouldn't piss off his boyfriend? No, he has to worry about a fucking tape. You stared... hard... everything going through your mind you wanted to scream, to shout at him for. But you didn't. You never did. Instead you got up pulling out cigarettes "I'm going out.. for a smoke..."

Nobody protested as you stormed out of the room and out to the front of the studio. You stood there as you pulled out a Marlboro Red. You took out your lighter and lit it before taking a puff off the cigarette. Tears were threathening to fall down your cheeks. "You don't know what it's like..." The words stuck in your mind like a bad song. He didn't know what the fuck it was like... He was a fucking rockstar with everything anyone could ever dream of. A hot wife, nice cars, millions of dollars.... everything was at his fingertips. You, You had to go home to a drunk boyfriend in a shitty apartment and still come into the studio pretending none of that existed at home. You took a long puff from the cigarette as you glared before stomping it down. "Fuck..." you whispered as tears fell down your cheeks. You slowly fell down onto the floor and sat there. You buried your head in your knees as you started to cry.

Music came from somewhere causing you to look up. A car had pulled up. A nice looking one to. You got up wiping the tears from your eyes. You stared in both curiousity and confusion. The car stopped pulling right beside the studio. The door flung open...

now there aren’t many group photos where all of them look busted, but there are a few where one of them looks so ridiculous it almost ruins the photo completely, here are some examples:

vince looks ridiculous but everyone else is kinda slaying (that top is so ugly what was he thinking fr) (no wait i lied i don’t think nikki’s outfit is a serve either)

the hat…peepaw i expected better from you :/ like he looks like an emo cowboy about to sing a really homoerotic sad gay song about his ex lover (think brokeback mountain if they were goth) ALSO nikki’s hat makes his head look small…so he also ruins the photo for me

the coat mick is wearing makes him look two apples tall…it’s actually so funny it throws off the rest of the picture (like they all look good but because that coat makes mick look so small i hate it/j)

but sometimes they individually have terrible looks

for me it’s this suit worn by tommy lee circa probs ‘85 (maybe ‘86) this shit looks terrible frfr…i know cheetah print was his fav (it’s actually mines too) but this is just excessive he looks like a gay guy who owns a secret underground gay club and he’s revered by all the gays in la…either that or a pimp. love the man but he looks ridiculous here it’s so bad

OK DONT KILL ME!! i just feel like mick could have used more variety during this era. he literally refused to take off this damn top during this entire era and i hate it. i would have much rather he wore the one from the smokin in the boys room mv, the red looks so much better on him. in other words: BORING!!

other times they just pull something like this:

they look terrible (positive) like absolutely astounding how terrible they look. vince and his resistance to wearing shoes is amazing. i wish i didn’t have to see it though.

i will say, the hardest part of doing these is ranking micks outfits because all he does is wear black. sometimes i think he’s an outfit repeater (there’s definitely evidence of that) which makes it worse since that’s the worst fashion crime you can commit! either way i think their most interesting era was theatre of pain because the things they wore…like who told tommy to wear those pants. this photoshoot was definitely their most boring one, no one’s really wearing anything really flashy.

ANYWAYS…these are just a few of my least favourite outfits (aka the ones i think sucked the most). anon, you’re right about them always having the best fits, because i definitely struggled picking a few of these out! i loved doing this though, and there’s probably even worse ones out there that i haven’t found yet!

"Is Tommy here?"

You hadn't even noticed you had been staring at her for so long. It was like she was Americas dream model. Long blonde flowing hair, a nice body, perfect face... You were so lost in your thoughts you hadn't known she was waving a hand in front of your face. "Hello?" You blinked a few times. "uh, yeah... sorry..." you cleared your throat "yeah, hes in the studio..". She let out a relieved sigh "oh thank god, he practically ran out of the house this morning in a bad mood... I'm sorry.. what was your name? I don't think we've met before..." She smiled at you. Smiled. A god send of a smile. One your mother would probably give to you if you handed her a bad drawing and she wanted to make you feel like you were the best artist in the world. God... you didn't deserve someone to smile at you like that... "I'm Y/N.. I'm filling in as a backup singer" you explained to her and held out your hand. She immediately took it and you could feel her long acrylic nails touching your skin as she shook your hand.

After awhile of thinking and drowning in your own problems you walked back inside of the studio. You walked to the door but stopped. You noticed in the corner of the studio Tommy and Pamela talking in hushed voices. One part of you told yourself you shouldn't get into their business... The other half was too curious... Carefully, you snuck over and leaned against the wall. Far enough you could hear but far enough back they wouldn't see you. You listened in carefully to what they were talking about.

"Tommy. I can't keep doing this with you... you can't get so pissed youre running off and not telling me where you are going... I'm upset about the tape just as much as you are..."

You stared down at the pregancy test with shaking hands... No, No this cannot be happening. You couldn't be pregant.. you were not ready... and most definitely not with him... You held your head as you began to cry. How could this have happened...? How were you supposed to tell him..? Was the baby supposed to grow up in this awful apartment with a horrible father like him...? You stared down at the tiled floor in comtemplation. You couldn't give birth... not now... not ever... You got up shaking still. You walked over to the counter and stared at the whiskey bottle before you....

You stared at the road ahead of you. Dried tears were on your cheeks. Thoughts spiraled throguh your mind. You shouldn't even feel jealous... You shouldn't feel jealous of Pam and Tommy... yet you were. You were jealous they had each other. You were jealous they seemed to have the perfect life. The only thing they were worried about was a stupid fucking tape... You wiped the tears from your eyes as you made it home. Luckily, your boyfriend wasn't home from his job. You made your way inside and closed the door behind you.

You went into the bedroom you unfortanely had to share and got dressed into pajamas. Afterward, you made your way over the couch and laid across it turning it on. Luckily, MTV was on showing off the latest Nu Metal bands that were rising to fame. You were realizing why Tommy was upset. All the bands that started in the 80s were becoming irrelevant to the public. No longer were segments about Motley Crue, Guns n roses, Bon Jovi, etc. They want to report the newest thing. You frowned a bit feeling rather bad.

About an hour or two had passed as you sat there and watched the tv before you heard the landline ring. You looked up intrested. Usually, it was someone calling for your boyfriend. You went over and picked up the phone "Hello, Y/N speaking... If your looking for..." A voice cut you off "Hey, Y/N" You were shocked to hear who was on the other side "Tommy?" you asked recognizing his voice almost instantly. You heard a chuckle over the phone.

"Yeah its me... I just wanted to say I'm sorry... I'm sorry for how I was acting at the studio today... I can tell I upset you..." You stared down at the ground below you. You were both a little shocked Tommy out of all people would call you but more so that he was apologizing. "Oh uh... its alright really... It wasn't really you I'm just... going through some things..." you said trying to play it off and hoping he wasn't going to ask anymore questions on the matter. "Well, I still want to apologize, and to ask if you wanted to come with Pam and I to dinner..." You blinked for a second. Was Tommy Lee asking you to dinner? You were speechless for a moment. "Uh, well um... sure! where?" you asked curiously. "Theres a really nice place downtown I'll give you the address... Pamela would love to see you again..." Those words stuck in your brain. Pamela wanted to see you?

As he told you the address you wrote it down on a sticky note and stuck it in your pocket "okay... okay great, I'll be there!" You said as a genuine smile was on your face. It had been awhile since one of those appeared. Tommy chuckled over the phone "Great we will see you tomorrow" With that the phone hung up. You stared at the ground for awhile. You were in awe. Pamela and Tommy just invited you to dinner. You felt like you wanted to pinch yourself to make sure you weren't dreaming.

Now another problem was approaching. What were you going to wear? sure, you had some mediocre dresses in your closet. But, you were sure they were going to take you somewhere so fancy you could only dream of it being real. You walked into the bedroom and looked in the closet for awhile. After awhile of searching, in the back was a beautiful black dress with a long black lace train. It was your prom dress from a few years back. It would still fit right? To your surprise it did. You stared at yourself in the mirror admiring the dress for awhile. It was so pretty. You remember saving up all your money from whatever job you were working at in high school to buy it. You smiled again seeing yourself however your gaze went down to your arms..

(Masc version skip if you don't wanna read:) You walked to the closet and looked around. You hadn't worn anything very nice in awhile. Knowing, Pam and Tommy however you knew they were probably going to take you to the fanciest resturant you could only dream of going to. After searching for awhile, you reached in the back and found a old suit. It was your suit for prom. You had completely forgot it was in there. It would still fit right? To your surprise, it did. You looked at yourself in the mirror testing out the shirt and the tux. It looked really nice on you. You smiled again seeing yourself in the mirror however, your eyes glanced down and noticed the sleeves of the tux rising up. It exposed your wrist...

Across your arms were gashes and cuts. Some healed, some still fresh. You swallowed and covered on of your wrists. Hopefully tomorrow Pam and Tommy won't notice.

With the release of Separate Ways I've really had a revelation about the harassment that Lily Gao faced after RE4R's release. People were mad because all of her deliveries were fairly casual and straightforward rather than emotional or "seductive". Which was obviously just a creative decision. The director probably just wanted to leave behind that male gaze-femme fatale thing that Ada had and allow her to behave like a normal person... just saying... "cya later!" instead of "ssseee youuu laterrruhhh <3 <3 mwa kiss kiss".

But also i think it was just a product of all of the cut Ada content from the game. And after playing Separate Ways, we just got so much more from her voice acting because... we just got so much more from her. We had her put in scenarios where she'd actually be more emotional or vulnerable instead of casual and laid back.

I think that straight male audiences (gamers) have a habit of hating on women whom they vaguely associate with things they don't like. Think Anna Gunn getting death threats cause people didn't like Skylar. Did Anna write her? No. Vince Gilligan did. But she was getting a lotttt more hate than he was. Did Lily Gao singlehandedly just make the decision to go in an entirely new direction with Ada’s characterization? Probably not. Did she cut all of that Ada content from the main story? No. Presumably a bunch of men did all that. But we just have a much easier time hating on a woman, specifically a WOC cause... society and shit.
