Mount to United yay or nay 👀
I mean he was an up-and-coming player when he started in the first team at Chelsea, definitely on my radar, but not playing regularly in a functional team’s killed him. He’s a good age, he’s fast and has the level of stamina we desperately need in the midfield. He’s like a more highly skilled version of John McGinn at Villa and you know I love him. He’ll get goals and we need that in midfield too. I do worry he doesn’t have the passing quality we need, but if he’s playing in a winger position in the 4-2-3-1 or in a 3-man midfield in the 4-3-3 that won’t worry me too much.
I know Ten will have a plan for him, will rebuild his confidence, and if he starts performing to the level he once did it could be a great signing. If he pulls a Sancho and needs time away to get his head right, it could go the other way royally. It’ll be interesting to see if this gets done. I’m reading about what Chelsea wants for him and it’s absurd. I’d take him, but not at a ransom. I want Douglas Luiz for that money. Go get Asensio, he’s on a free, and pick up Sabitzer if Chelsea won’t budge.

masterlist!
… [Y/N] SAT AT THE STANDS, both of her legs anxiously bouncing as her eyes darted across the stadium with an uneasy expression plastered onto her face. She chewed on her bottom lip, lost in a dire of haunting thoughts that made her want to throw herself off a cliff—quite literally. She halted with her breaths, a shaky sigh escaping her lips as she relived the small argument that was shared between her and her husband, Antoine, and she felt a sting in her chest for her own behavior.
“I don’t understand why you’re making such a big deal–” [Y/N] tried to argue, but was cut off by Antoine, who paused with a look of disbelief, looking at his wife like she’d grown two heads.
Antoine scoffed, resting a hand on his hip. “It matters to me because he hurt you! The fact that we’re playing against each other makes me fucking sick to my stomach. How am I supposed to play fair when that guy’s the reason for the bruises you on your—” [Y/N]’s eyes burgeoned with tears, her jaw tightly clutched as she rapidly shook her head, blocking out her ex-boyfriend’s name.
“Don’t. Don’t talk about him.” [Y/N] shot in a calming manner, her eyes rigid with tears. A reign of pain engulfed her body, but she stood on her ground, not allowing herself to break. Crumbling to pieces was not something she wanted to do at the moment, especially not in front of Antoine.
Luiz Moralez was a menace—even on the football field. Having received multiple cards, yellow and red, go in accordance with how he is as a person outside of football. [Y/N] however, was blinded by love and saw the signs late. She remembered giving her friends a weird look at the comments about him, completely oblivious and too in love to realize that she made a deal with the devil.
A gentle hand rubbed her back, snapping her out of her thoughts. She swallowed a lump into her throat, clenching her jaw before turning her head to Antoine’s sister, Maud, who looked at her with concern. “Are you alright, honey?” she softly asked, her doe-eyes gazing at her with genuine worry.
[Y/N] dug her nails into her palms, biting the insides of her cheeks. The question made her want to sob into her arms, wanting her to rock her body back and forth while caressing her hair. She licked her dry lips before giving her an answer. “I, uh—I don’t know, Maud,” she admitted, giving her an uncertain smile, not sure if the smile was for herself or for her best friend.
Maud’s hand traveled up to her neck, almost wincing at how tense it was. She studied her, her eyes slightly narrowed as she watched how her chest was heaving, making her frown. She glanced at her hands, noticing her fidgeting with her wedding band. Her eyes softened, bringing her warm hand into her cold ones, rubbing her icy skin with her thumb. “You’re safe here. It’s okay.”
[Y/N] cringed internally, feeling like a child. Her jaw was starting to sting at how tight it was clutched. She nodded, repeating her words like a mantra. Her lips muttered her words quietly, earning another rub on her back for reassurance. The dark cloud in her heart became heavier, writhing and squeezing her chest tightly making her let out a breath she didn’t know she was holding.
A whistle echoed inside the stadium, indicating the players’ appearance. Both of the teams stepped out of the dark hall, making a round of applause and cheers echo inside the stadium. [Y/N] moved her head, trying to catch a glimpse of her husband, but her eyes landed on Luis instead, whose piercing gaze on her made her freeze in her seat.
Blood drained from her skin, her expression stretched into a mask of fright. She could feel her heart palpiate, blood rushing through her ears as she watched him give her a nod in greeting, his lips curving into a smirk. She quickly averted her gaze away toward his husband, whose eyes was on Luis—eyes glowed with fire.
Antoine gently tapped his mascot’s shoulders, giving the child a comforting pat to ease their nerves. He stood across his opponent, who ironically happened to be Luiz. His blood boiled at how he sent a smile to his wife. His mouth quirked with annoyance, lips suppressing fury as he gave him a cold look.
Luiz moved his gaze toward his opponent, an amusing expression plastered onto his features. He had his arms behind his back, shoulders out with a confident posture and Antoine wanted nothing more than to wipe that stupid smirk off his face.
The French man gave him one last glare, turning his attention away from him to the match. Both of the teams gave each other a handshake, mutters of good luck and a tap on the back. Luiz neared Antoine, his rough hands clasping with his.
Antoine tightened his grip on his hand, giving it a squeeze. He gave him a nod, his lips forming into a forced smile. He watched him falter for a moment before returning the same enforcing smile, their eyes dangerously pierced into each other.
The players gathered around the field, waiting for the referee to blow the whistle. Antoine’s eyes darted across the stadium, eyes searching for his wife. His eyes found hers and he gave her an apologetic look, indicating for the small argument they had earlier. He watched her shake her head, blowing a few kisses, her lips chanting with the crowd for the French man.
He smiled, eyes soft and loving, completely oblivious of Luiz giving him a glowering look. After what felt like an internity, the whistle finally blew and the match started. Half of the match went for Antoine’s team, having scoring a goal that went the crowd craving for more. Although Antoine encountered his opponent tackling him and preventing him from scoring, he managed in the end and manuvered the ball skillfully into the net.
That seemed to make Luiz bitter for the whole break and it was obvious for the audience. Some caught him making dull comments about the French man, throwing his hands up exasperated about their performance. Some of his teammates watched the Spanish man with annoyance, making Antoine chuckle under his breath with a shake of his head. This guy, he thought.
The rest of the match started with the other team dribbling the ball and centring to each other. Antoine jogged toward his opponent, managing to catch the ball and leading it to the other direction. The crowd roared with anticipation, watching the French man on the field, skillfully dodging their attempts to take the ball away from him. He was near and getting closer, but as his feet was about to shoot, Luiz happened to prevent the goal by using his body to push his shoulders, sending him to the ground.
[Y/N] gasped, a hand covering her mouth as she watched the spectacle in front of her. Her eyebrows were knitted and her frown deepened. “Fucking asshole,” she cursed out loud, making a few snap their heads toward her direction—agreeing with her comment.
“Asshole? More like a fucking meneance. How isn’t that a yellow card?” A man beside her interjected with a scorn, making a few people around him agree with his statement, their shouts of anger filling her ears.
Antoine stood up on his feet, feeling his shoulder sting. He wiped off sweat that was trickling down his face and clenched his jaw. His face flushed with anger, watching how Luiz took the ball away from him. He noticed a few of his teammates crying in protest, yelling at the referee for a yellow card to the man. He patted a team player on the back, indicating to keep going and reassuring that he was fine.
Luiz dribbled the ball, maneuvering around his opponent as he neared the net. The crowd cheered, boosting his skills as his foot went for a potential score, but was blocked by Antoine, who jumped in front of the net and slid his body against the grass.
It was only a few minutes left and the other team could already taste victory. Just as Antoine stood up from the grass, his body was tackled to the ground, his hip hitting the ground with a harsh thump. A yelp tore through his throat, his hand gripping his left hip with gritted teeth.
“Fucking jerk,” he grumbled, clenching his jaw. His teammates ran to his side, carefully helping him up to his feet before making a run to attack the Spanish player. They shared their complaints to the referee on his behalf, eyes dripped with spite as they looked at the opposite team.
Antoine felt a prickling pain at his left hip, making him let out a shaky breath as he halted toward Luiz with a neutral expression on his face to prevent himself from punching his face. He watched him letting out a scoff, pushing one of his teammates out of the way to defend himself.
A whistle pulled him out of his thoughts, making him snap his head toward the referee. Luiz could only shrug, a cocky expression plastered onto his face as he neared the referee. “We almost scored, he ruined the shot, man. I almost had it!” he defend himself with a glare, looking at his Antoine, whose veins in his neck stood out in living ridges, ready to pop out any second.
After a bargain of shouts and protests, the referee sent Luiz off the field, bringing a red card in the air and Antoine thought he was seeing things as he watched the other team cheer. He scoffed, shaking his head in disbelief at the interaction and turned on his heel to play the last few minutes that was left.
A harsh tug at his shoulder made him quickly turn around and immediately met with the face that he despised the most. He narrowed his eyes, a scowl forming on his handsome features as he looked at his opponent’s expression turning into a sour look, indicating his red card.
He watched him open his mouth, but he cut him off before he could utter a word, already knowing what he was going to say. Antoine inched closer, his unwavering gaze holding him in his place. “Say a fucking word about my wife, I dare you. Back. Off.” he sneered, his jaw clutched as he looked at him with a cold glare before leaving him on the spot.
“Why not? She’s a fucking whore.” Antoine halted with his steps and turned around once again. A look of rage morphed into his face, along with a flushed face and his lips turning thin before barging toward him, his hands using all his strengths to send him back to the ground.
“What the hell did you just say about her?” Even Luiz’s teammates gave him disappointed looks, a look of shock etched onto their faces as they watched him uttering words like that. A teammate pushed Luiz back to prevent him to throw a punch at the French player. “Hey, enough! You’ve done enough, man.”
[Y/N]’s eyes brimmed with tears, her lips forming into a downwards pout as she tried to stop the overwhelming emotions bubbling to the surface. Another whistle blew, signaling that the game was over and their team won. The crowd cheered screams of joy, completely forgetting about the heated interactin between the players.
She stood up from her seat, ignoring Maud’s pleads as her feet hit the staircase to lead her down the dark hall. She watched the team entering the hallaway, their brims of smiles widening at their another win. She clutched her chest, her body glued into a corner as her eyes frantically searched for her husband. She rubbed the back of her crossed arms, hot tears threatening to fall. She sniffled, wiping her nose with her hand and slowly sauntered toward, catching a glimpse of blonde locks at the peripheral of her vision.
Antoine gave his coach a forced smile, giving him an embrace. He heard his words of praise, but his mind was elsewhere and he longed for his wife. His eyes averted away from his coach toward the entrance hall, trying to find her among the heavy mass.
[Y/N] let out a breath she held for awhile, feeling her shoulders relax as her eyes finally locked with his. She let her feet lead her, fastening her pace, desperate to be into his arms. A breathy smile reached her face, her hands cupping both of his cheeks before engulfing him into her arms.
Antoine let out a tired sigh, hiding his face into her hair as he pulled her closer to his body. He rocked them back and forth, enjoying being in each other arms as they both whispered words of love and sweet nothings. “I’m sorry, mon chéri (my darling).” he murmed into her neck, planting a soft kiss into her skin before pulling away.
[Y/N] shook her head, her hand drifting to hold the side of his neck as her thumb brushed his jaw. She felt him relax at her touch, reaching his hand to cover with hers. “You have nothing to be sorry for. You’re right—what you said, you know. I just, uh, I didn’t know what to say and I–I–” her words got caught in her throat, a vibrant blush creeping up her cheeks at his soft gaze.
Antoine caught her chin, his thumb gliding across her cheekbones in a tender and gentle caress. He captured her lips for a loving kiss. She met his kiss with a dreamy sigh, her hands sliding up to wrap around his shoulder to pull him closer, deepening the kiss.
They broke away the kiss, their forehead leaned against each other. Antoine’s lips curved up, both of his hands caressing her flushed cheeks. He hummed, planting a kiss on her forehead before pulling her into his chest. “I love you so much, you know that right? More than that psycho..” he told her, feeling her muffled laughs into his chest.
[Y/N] pulled away, giving her husband a giggle. “I know, sweetheart. I love you so much as well, Antoine.” she mirrored his affection, giving him a loving smile.

Can Brazil Convince the World to Tax Billionaire Wealth?
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/af97a4cbbec92f1be27cf8acd0021548/a3fec53136850193-f7/s540x810/b854d87381a2065e8b0f566a631ad6dad19da929.jpg)
Recent weeks have brought three more eye-popping glimpses of our world’s unconscionable concentration of income and wealth . . .
The fabled luxury automaker Lamborghini, for the first time ever, has sold over 10,000 vehicles in a single year. Lamborghini’s current 2024 Revuelto model starts at $608,358 . . .
Google co-founder Larry Page has just expanded his collection of private islands to five. His latest, a isle that sits between Puerto Rico and the British Virgin Islands, sethim back $32 million . . .
The Austrian design firm Motion Code: Blue has released renderings of a new submersible superyacht that can stay underwater for up to four weeks at a time. The 541-foot-long Migaloo M5 also features a built-in swimming pool, a helipad, and a $2-billion price-tag . . .
Why are Austrian designers devoting their talents to fashioning $2-billion baubles for billionaires? Just one reason: Today’s super rich are sitting on mountains of spendable billions.
And what’s raising those mountains of cash? Researchers at Oxfam have a compelling answer to offer in a just-released new analysis.
“The share of national income going to the top 1 percent of earners in G20 countries has increased by 45 percent over the last four decades,” Oxfam notes. “During the same period, the top tax rates on their incomes has fallen by roughly a third.”
In 2022, Oxfam’s researchers add, the top 1 percent of earners in G20 countries pocketed $18 trillion in income.
Oxfam released all these stats on the eve of this week’s inaugural finance track meeting of G20 financial ministers and central bank chiefs. The “G20” actually includes 21 players, 19 of the world’s most powerful nations, plus the European Union and this year, for the first time, the African Union.
Brazil, the G20 chair for 2024, hosted this week’s meeting in São Paulo — and Brazil’s left-led government of Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva vigorously seized this hosting opportunity. His administration’s ambitious goal? To shove the case for taxing the wealth of our world’s wealthiest onto the world’s political stage.

The Suzano massacre, also known as the Suzano school massacre, was a school shooting and a failed bombing, that took place on March 13, 2019, at the Professor Raul Brasil State School in the Brazilian municipality of Suzano, São Paulo State, The perpetrators, 17-year-old Guilherme Taucci Monteiro and 25-year-old Luiz Henrique de Castro, murdered five students and two school staff members, Before the attack in a car shop near the school, the pair also killed Monteiro's uncle. After killing most of their victims in the school, Monteiro killed his partner and then committed suicide. Eleven additional people were injured by gunshots, and gunfire was also exchanged with the police. Some were injured while trying to escape. The attack was the second major and second deadliest school shooting in Brazil, after the Realengo massacre in 2011. It is also the ninth fatal school shooting in Brazilian history. The shooting has inspired many copycat killings in and outside of Brazil.
Earlier in the day, at around 9 a.m. local time, the gunmen shot three times and killed Monteiro's uncle, the shopkeeper Jorge Antônio Moraes, in a nearby car shop. The man was taken to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries, dying hours later. According to the investigation, Castro was planning on killing a neighbor of his that was an electrician because they had had a misunderstanding months before. They had a pact, in which each one would kill someone before the school massacre. An hour and half before the school attack, Castro went to his neighbor's house. Finding the gate closed, he persistently called him out, but the man did not answer, and so Luiz went away. In the same day, one of the killers posted a series of photos in a social media platform, where he appeared with a skull mask, holding the firearm he would later use and doing a gun sign with his hand against his head. The two attackers then drove to the school in a white Chevrolet Onix that Castro had legally rented at Localiza. The crime occurred at around 9:40 a.m. local time on a Wednesday, March 13, 2019, in the Professor Rual Brasil State School, in Suzano, Greater São Paulo. Guilherme Taucci Monteiro, 17 years old, and Luiz Henrique de Castro, 25 years old, entered the building hooded, with combat boots and balaclavas with skulls. Monteiro entered the building first. He then turned around and began shooting at two school staff members as well as several students at a distance of approximately 3 feet (0.91 m) in front of him, before entering the main patio in search of more potential victims. He disappeared from camera and then moved on to the institution's linguistics center. By this time, Castro appeared on camera entering the building in a hurry while holding several weapons, including a bow which he eventually left on the floor. He approached the corpses lying on the ground and struck them with a hatchet. Fleeing students started to run from the patio towards the school entrance hall. On the way, they encountered Castro, who was still in the entrance hall. Other students who had hidden themselves when they first heard gunshots were able to avoid being shot. Five students between 15 and 17 years old and two school staff members were killed. According to the 2017 School Census, the institution had 358 students between 6th and 9th grade (middle school and freshman year) and 693 students in secondary school. The school was locked down by police, who searched it and found a caliber 38 revolver, speedloaders, a crossbow, a traditional bow and arrow, possible Molotov cocktails, a hatchet and a wired bag. A bomb squad was dispatched to the scene and found that it was a fake explosive.

It's just me and her since the beginning, no one introduced us, we ended up getting to know each other precisely because we were alone, because we were abandoned by everyone, friends, family and the like, they thought we were lost causes, the invitations to parties stopped, we were too sad, they said our low mood contaminated the environments, the visits became scarce to the point where they no longer answered the phone, they avoided the sidewalks and pretended not to see us, but they still talked behind our backs, you could see it even from afar, they could see everything bad in both of us, people with sharp vision who so close didn't see a syndrome in her and depression in me, but for everything that begins there must come to an end, now we are together, we keep each other company, our graves are next to each other, we were buried as indigents, after all no one remembered us anymore, but my name is Luiz Carlos, Luca for the friends who abandon me, hers is Liza Maria, Lili for hers, alone in death as in life So it is she and I, we only have each other for eternity, but it is already more than we had when we lived among more than seven billion petty people.

Kai no Kiseki - English Summary - Act 3 Van Route 5
Table of Contents
Act 3: Van 5
The chapter begins with Yun at the café, enjoying a free meal. Van asks if Ka-Fai had a specific reason for coming to Anchorville or if it was just intuition. The group teases Ka-Fai's itinerary, finding it odd that he would travel from Tharbad to Anchorville which are on the opposite ends of Edith, all in one day. Yun Ka-Fai explains he wanted to experience a bit of everything and mentions that Bergard, with his new hobby of riding an Orbal Bike, should understand the feeling.
Chloe is honored to meet Ka-Fai, explaining that Dominique has spoken of him before. Judith is surprised to learn that Ka-Fai knows her grandmother, and he reveals that he’s been friends with both Dominique and Bergard for a long time.
Agnes cuts to the chase and asks if Ka-Fai knows anything about the Remnants. He says he doesn’t, but he has sensed a distortion in the world for a few months now. Bergard wonders if this is due to Ka-Fai's Tengenkan (Heavenly Eye).
The group summarizes that the Remnants don’t belong in their current world. They possess technology far beyond what’s possible, a monstrous entity, and the White Device, all of which defy logic. Renne comments that it all seems like science fiction, explaining that this technology was once referred to as “Biosynthetic Nanomachines.”
The group then considers that these nanomachines might be causing the “contamination” effect and the mechanization of people like Jeffrey and the Executor demons. As far-fetched as it sounds, Bergard believes this could explain why, when Ka-Fai cleaved the Executor, it turned into mist.
Ka-Fai looks at Van, asking if he's realized the truth. Van admits he wasn’t entirely sure but explains that with his heightened senses, he can detect the existence of things. When the Masked Soldier used the Alter Core, and when Ixs had used it in the past, they seemed to momentarily vanish. Van suggests that when they activate the Alter Core, they aren’t moving from Point A to B like teleportation arts, but are instead temporarily removed from existence and then returned.
Quatre and Risette grasp the concept and discuss it in scientific terms, noting that the White Device defies the laws of causality. Renne refers to it as a “space-time jump” but on a small scale.
With that answer, Ka-Fai announces his departure, commenting that Van has lived up to what Shizuna told him. Bergard sighs, noting that Van’s explanation must be the real reason Ka-Fai came to Anchorville.
--
During free roaming, talking to Luiz and Shannon reveals that Luiz is Shannon’s boyfriend.
Speaking with Edwin at the bar reveals he tried to gather information about the hospital incident but feels like he’s missing a key piece of the puzzle.
In an optional scene, Bergard plays the piano while everyone encourages Judith to sing. She performs, afterward commenting that she hasn’t sung in a long time and was surprised by how well it went.
Speaking with Old Man Perdue reveals that Dominique used to sing at the café as well, and it was the Fourth Best Way to enjoy the café. Talking to him again prompts a comment that Yun Ka-Fai has a mischievous side that rivals even Perdue’s.
----
Grim Garten Door 7
At Grim Garten Door 7 in the hub, Rean and Shizuna are fishing, calling it a form of meditation. Shizuna had intended to fish, but when she saw Rean already doing it, she joined in. Speaking with Rean, he mentions that every time he's encountered Shizuna, it's been in battle. This is the first time he's gotten to know her outside of a fight. Talking to Shizuna, she compares the baitless fishing meditation to something else Ka-Fai taught her, making Rean sweat and wonder just what Ka-Fai has been teaching her.
Lapis finds it odd that people are fishing but not catching anything, but now that she’s thinking about fish, she’s hungry. Crow calls it "air fishing" and says he’d rather go drinking. Altina tells Judith she wanted to see the Sacred Journeys movie but couldn’t find it in Basel. Judith explains that movie availability varies by region. Swin and Celis also mention watching movies, and Judith wishes they could use Grim Garten to screen some films.
Towa, Renne, and Bergard are talking, with Towa asking if Bergard listens to the radio. He says he does, tuning in to everything from news and weather to talk shows, music, and entertainment while riding his ETWS bike. Bergard even recalls an episode of a talk show that featured Towa. Renne smugly recalls the Connect Event when she was on a talk show and imagines Bergard will likely hear that one too.
Meanwhile, Rufus, Risette, Zin, and Rion are playing cards. Fie offers tea to Nadia and Quatre, helping calm Quatre down. Elaine, Agnes, and Rixia are chatting, with Agnes sharing the events of Anchorville with Elaine. Elaine expresses a desire to travel there as soon as possible. When talking to Elaine, she remarks to herself that Agnes has become someone Van can rely on, and she feels at ease leaving things in her hands.
At the hot springs, Kevin notices Aaron and Feri looking down and offers to lend an ear, saying they can talk to Father Kevin. Aaron calls confessions lame and says Kevin’s a quack, offending him slightly. However, Aaron observes that Kevin seems like a loner, despite having help from Swin and the others. Kevin acknowledges Aaron’s perceptiveness, thinking to himself that he just needs to focus on his mission and forget the rest.
At the boss, they fight Campanella and Walter.
---
Connect Event: Quatre
Van knocks on Quatre's door, but Quatre asks him not to come in. Van finds it strange, noticing Quatre’s voice sounds off, and wonders if Quatre might have a cold, so he asks to enter anyway. Upon stepping inside, Van is shocked to see that Quatre's body has changed, developing more feminine features, including breasts.
Embarrassed, Quatre explains that the change was unexpected and the breasts have grown from 10% to nearly 60%. Van recalls a report about strange bodily reactions caused by hormonal imbalances and suspects it's related to the "Angel" process Quatre underwent.
Quatre reveals that Esmeray and Hamilton created a stabilizer, which Esmeray regularly administered, but for the past few days, neither Esmeray nor Hamilton has been reachable. Trying to ease Van's concerns, Quatre admits this isn't the first time the changes have happened, assuring that things will go back to “normal.” Quatre hopes the transformation subsides before anyone else besides Van, who entered unannounced, notices. Van offers to check in with the hospital to see if they can help.
The two head to Anchorville General Hospital, where they consult Pharmacist Belbrin. He mentions that among the items confiscated from Doctor Grant is a new medication from Remferia, likely stored in the underground facility. With clearance from Inspector Daswani, Van and Quatre proceed to the facility, which also holds the illegal agave drugs. Quatre quickly becomes exhausted, and Van attributes it to the hormonal shifts, suggesting Quatre take it easy, as mental state will also play a key role in recovery. Quatre begins to feel something for Van but is unsure of the emotions.
Quatre eventually uncovers a room previously missed while searching the facility’s computer. When a monster attacks them, Van holds Quatre close, causing Quatre to blush and experience an elevated heart rate.
After they locate the medication, Quatre hesitates, concerned about its safety. Van reassures Quatre that regardless of being a boy or girl, it won’t change how Van sees Quatre, and there’s nothing wrong with either.
In the end, Quatre returns to normal and walks home with Van, reflecting on the experience, which was short-lived but unexpectedly fun. Quatre gains a new perspective, realizing that whether a boy or a girl, Quatre is still Quatre. After parting ways with Van, Quatre admits that while in the "female" form, the idea of turning back felt like a waste and wonders what those thoughts meant, hinting at growing feelings for Van.
Connect Event: Judith
Van returns to the café and sees Judith offering to help Chloe with deliveries. Judith finds the timing perfect and asks Van to join her. After the fourth delivery, Van wonders how many are left, noticing that Judith doesn’t usually help her mother with deliveries. Judith explains that her career keeps her busy, and she rarely visits Anchorville, making this a rare opportunity to catch up with the locals. The last delivery is for Old Man Hermann, and Judith casually mentions her dad, saying Hermann used to take care of all of them. Van is surprised, as it’s the first time she’s mentioned her father. He asks if her dad has passed away, but Judith assures him he’s alive. She explains her father works in the movie industry as a screenwriter and has connections with people like Hermann. Chloe and her dad never actually married, which might be related to the Grimcats situation. Despite the distance and lack of formal ties, Judith says her dad is still important to her.
As Van and Judith approach Hermann, they see him about to fall into the canal. Judith quickly transforms into Grimcats to save him. Hermann, confused, asks what happened and sees Judith in her Grimcats form, but assumes it’s just a costume for an acting gig. Van silently wonders why Hermann doesn’t question it further.
Judith delivers the final package to Hermann and takes him home. Back at the café, Chloe serves Judith’s favorite tea and offers Van a special cocoa. Judith, slightly annoyed, notes how everyone assumes Van is looking after her. Reflecting on it, she admits it’s partly true and playfully frames it as Van being lucky to have a close connection to one of the top actresses in the business. Van agrees, and Judith thanks him for his support, mentioning how it’s the first time Grimcats has had friends to rely on. They both promise to support each other moving forward.
Connect Event: Risette
Risette and Van visit the church to seek advice from the bishop about Risette’s situation. The bishop suggests it could be related to PTSD. Van asks if he means trauma, and Risette tries to protest, saying it shouldn’t be possible. The bishop finishes her thought, noting that Risette has no memories to begin with. He explains that although she has forgotten, a deep “fear” might be etched into her subconscious. The bishop advises specialized treatment as the best approach for PTSD, but Risette asks about other options. He reveals an amulet that could tap into her subconscious but warns it might intensify the emotional wound. Risette agrees to proceed, and the bishop activates the amulet, casting it on her to explore her subconscious.
In her mind, Risette sees a man, an old lady, and a child version of herself, angry at the man for not getting her what she wanted.
Suddenly, the scene erupts into flames, and a giant machine attacks. Risette wakes up in pain. The bishop warns that they should stop before it becomes too dangerous. Van agrees, thanks the bishop, and takes Risette to Shino’s Bar/Food Truck for a drink. Risette, still shaken, confesses she doesn’t know where she was or who “they” were, unable to make sense of her past. She questions her very existence, explaining that when she awoke, she had no body or memories, and everything about her now feels synthetic and robotic. Yet, thanks to Van and Mirabel, she somehow became a person. Risette thanks Van for helping her face her trauma and giving her the courage to confront her PTSD.
Patrolling Anchorville
While patrolling Anchorville, you can find Regena talking to Bracer Xiao Lin. They discuss how Heiyue seems to have more reliable sources than the police, as they’ve already sent their forces to Anchorville. They wonder if Heiyue is searching for the Gekka Styled Masked Man. Regena also reveals that not just Xiao Lin, but Kazan and Rahad have also come to Anchorville.
You can also find Shino, the cocktail mixer from Kuro 1 and 2, here in Anchorville with her food truck. Additionally, Yun Ka-Fai is still in Anchorville, and Aaron asks why he hasn’t left yet. Ka-Fai explains that he’s waiting for the train and thought he’d pass the time by watching a movie, listing several that interest him. Van hopes Ka-Fai doesn’t miss his train.

4SPG: A girl named Merina is searching for her "real family" after discovering she was switched at birth. The group asks Chief Bannings at city hall, but he says he's never heard of such a case. However, after some thought, he recalls a case where a family came in after fourteen years due to a similar mix-up. The group realizes that another person must have learned their family isn't their biological one and that this individual is a boy. Speaking to Edwin from Eton reveals that the mix-up occurred at the hospital, which was involved with both the mafia and Almata. The mistake came to light during the restructuring at the end of December. When they return to inform Merina about the gender mix-up, they find her with a boy named Jodie. They visit the hospital and speak to a doctor to learn more. Upon returning, it’s revealed that both families had discovered the mix-up the previous year but chose to keep it quiet, which upsets Merina. After calming down, Van asks if she wants to know the truth, and she agrees. It turns out her closest friend, the boy Jodie standing beside her, is the one who was switched at birth with her. They share the same birthday.
4SPG: Rachel, the second girl in the idol group Vega alongside Yulia, has gone missing. After asking around—Shino at her bar truck, Wagner at the hotel bar, and a guard—the group heads out onto the roads to search. They find Rachel, who vents her frustration about how the idol industry treats her like a prop and a doll, rather than a person. Her emotional outburst causes monsters to chase her, but the group arrives just in time to save her. Rachel admits she doesn’t want to return, revealing that her dream was to become a singer, but she’s disillusioned by the industry’s focus on metrics and audience appeal rather than talent.
Van challenges her pride, reminding her that she got this far through her hard work, and if she gives up now, she'll throw it all away and become a nobody again. Encouraged, she returns to Yulia, and they sing again—but this time, Rachel does it her way. Their manager worries he’ll get fired if management finds out, but the group believes that Rachel's true-to-self performance has won over an audience that genuinely cares about them.
Main Story:
At the Bracer Guild, the group exchanges information with Regard, Kazan, and Rahad. After talking to Jack and Hale, they discuss Hamilton in Tharbad and the drug situation, before leaving to gather more information for Van. Later, Jack and Mirabel both call at the same time, wanting to share intel and meet at the Black Cat Café.
In a curious moment, Yun Ka-Fai breaks the fourth wall, mentioning that there are "two more acts" and asking if they’ll make it through. (He’s referring to Van 6, Rean 3, Kevin 3, and the Finale.)
At the café, the group meets with Mirabel and Jack, who confirm that Heiyue’s activities have begun, narrowing it down to two locations. Daswani also joins, explaining that he couldn’t gather any intel from the CID. Alvis arrives as well, mentioning that Elaine is on her way but will take some time. Alvis and Daswani were recently at a City Hall conference concerning the Remnants. Jack then asks if the group noticed anything strange at City Hall, which confuses them. Risette realizes that City Hall is one of the locations Jack and Mirabel were referring to, and they confirm it. The second location is the logistics warehouse.
As they discuss this, the Genesis and Alter Core react, and a laptop feed shows the Masked Men. Blue taunts Arkride and Marduk. Red, a Gekka-style fighter, activates his Alter Core, glowing red, and tells the group to enjoy the "crimson night."
Outside, the Police and Bracers split up to handle the monsters attacking the city. After saving civilians and clearing the area, the group encounters Heiyue assassins, who have been contaminated. Upon defeating them, the assassins merge and sacrifice themselves to bring Tyrant back into the world.
Aaron gets furious, wondering if the Masked People used their nanomachines or something else to recreate something to aggravate him. Cao, Gaolang, and Boss Fan also appear to assist, and Dominique, who had been missing, shows up too. Bergard is shocked to learn Dominique had been working with Heiyue all along. She explains that she was helping Gien deal with some matters, which is true, as she had been seen speaking with him a few acts earlier.
Fan, Gaolang, and Dominique stay behind to fight Tyrant, allowing Van and the others to head to the logistics center. To everyone’s surprise, Aaron’s father shows up to help. Annoyed, Aaron asks why his dad is here, and Cao explains that one of the Masked People is someone Aaron’s father suspects, and he needs to be there to confront this person or he won’t be able to face his late wife.
At the logistics center, the group is ambushed by an Executor, and Aaron’s father is critically injured. The group defeats the Executor, but Blue uses the Alter Core to make it repeatedly teleport as a feint.
Rene Kincaid arrives to help Van by predicting where the Executor will teleport. Van asks why Kincaid is here, and he explains that all CID forces are deployed elsewhere, and he’s the only one available to assist.
Blue escapes, and Van finds it difficult to reconcile with Kincaid after being ghosted for so long. However, they agree to collaborate to resolve the incident as part of a “4SPG request.” During their free-roaming phase, Kincaid discloses that the Contamination effect is referred to as the “Executor Factor,” or ‘eFactor’ for short, by the CID.
As the group delves deeper, they discover the eldest son of the Divanshi Family. One son had been dealt with in a 4SPG, while the other was transformed into a mechanized monster by the Alter Core in Act 2 Van 2. Eventually, they confront the Red Warrior, who possesses a replica of a pedestal used in Kuro 1. The Red Warrior inadvertently refers to Gien as a brat, suggesting he is either much older or hails from a bygone era. Just then, the Blue Provoker arrives, seemingly intent on finishing off the group, but the Red Warrior commands him to leave and refrain from interfering in his battle.
The Red Warrior draws two swords, the Hagun and Donrou, which Cao recognizes as legendary cursed swords from the East. Surprised by Cao's knowledge of his weapons, the Red Warrior powers up.
After the fight, Aaron ponders whether the Red Warrior is the Taikun from Kuro 1, but he quickly dismisses this thought, realizing it was merely a lingering grudge that had possessed him. He concludes that the Red Warrior is indeed the genuine article who ruled with an iron fist 40 years ago, asking if he is the Taikun Lagun Karn.
Aaron and Cao manage to unmask the Red Warrior, revealing a face strikingly similar to Aaron's. Simultaneously, Kincaid and Van unmask the Blue Provoker, to Agnes's shock, revealing him to be Giacomo. Gaolang and the others arrive, and Karn expresses his admiration that they managed to subdue his “shadow,” promising to remember their names. He also recognizes Dominique, commenting on how poorly she has aged. Giacomo's familiarity with Dominique surprises Judith. Subsequently, Karn and Giacomo make their escape.
Afterward, everyone regroups outside the logistics center. They express their confusion over how Giacomo can be alive, as Van was convinced he had died, pondering how he could have returned. Theories arise that his revival may resemble Dingo's in Kuro 2. However, unlike Dingo, who was ephemeral and revived in a shard body, both Giacomo and Karn have a tangible presence. Kincaid informs the group that the CID and Marduk are withdrawing, leaving Van’s group to rely solely on the Bracers and Daswani’s forces. Agnes speculates whether something significant is set to happen in Anchorville the following day based on Karn’s words, but Kincaid interrupts, revealing that President Gramheart is essentially placing her under house arrest until the Space Project’s rocket launch.
The chapter ends.

13/11/2023
I have so much to say I don't even know how to start this. Maybe discussing about how my mom's being suck a jerk with me this week. She fucking knows about all my mental health shit, and even so she gives me all the indications that she doesen't trust me enough. I already knew she and dad didn't trust me, but receiving the confirmation is tough. Very much tough.
Basically, what happened is: I'm living with my aunt in another state now, to try to take care of my mental health. It's been being really helpful, and she's an angel in my life, I can't express how much I love her and love being here, in my hometown. I'll try to apply to the university in here, so I can stay longer.
But let's go to what really matters now. Thursday, my uncle got his knee operated, and my aunt went to the hospital with him to stay a couple days. At thursday night, my older cousin and his wife came to stay with me and my youngest cousin, so we won't be alone for the night (even though I'm 20 and he's 18). Friday, my aunt told me to call my friends to sleep with us, and so I did.
So here we were: me, Rafa, Ninne and Luiz (my youngest cousin), doing a barbecue and swimming at night (it's really fucking hot here in Brazil this week). And then my dad video calls me. That's weird, my dad never calls me, it's always my mom, but I accepted it.
Dude, the second my mom saw that I was at the pool, her face immeadiatly closed and she asked what I thought I was doing. I explained to her that my aunt was the one to give the idea to call my friends, and she continued to be mad at me. I really don't know why she was mad. Did she think we were having a crazy sex night at the pool? Did she think that I had organized a rave at my aunt's house while she was away? I didn't do any of these stuff. We only had a barbecue and swimmed. Only. Oh, we watched movies too. But that's all. The only boy present in all the situation was my cousin, and that means nothing because I live with him.
Anyway, as we were hanging out the call, my dad says to me to don't do any shit, and I jokily ask "don't you guys trust me?". He answered "no". And hung out. Yeah, that's really fucked up.
See, I don't think I ever did anything to deserve that lack of trust in me. In 20 years of my life, I barely went out of home, I never got home drunk or high, always told my parents where I was going and who were with me, they know all of my friends. Even so, they still don't trust me, and I can't figure out why. I'm 20 years old and they still treat me as if I was 10 and didn't know anything about life and how to take care of myself at all.
Man, they freaked out with me having a night alone, without any "responsible adults" nearby. Imagine when I live by myself? I'm planning to move out next year, if I get into college, and live with my friends and my cats. I think that's capable of giving my mom a heart attack.
Anyway, I'll talk about this with my psychologist later on today. I hope she helps me to not feel anxious every time I talk to my mom. And that I can figure out why the fuck I don't want to come home for summer vacations. Mom wants me to spend january with her, dad and my brother, but, honestly, I feel no will to come back home. It just seem so suffocating! I don't want to go home because that means I'll have the slightly chance to meet my ex without wanting to. And that would be the worst nightmare ever.
Someday I'll tell the story about why he broke up with me. Not today. I have another important things to write about today.
One of those is that I'm under the doubt of having or not Borderline. When I went to the psychiarist, she gave me emotional control pills to take, and I have been taking them since then. She also asked if there was people with bipolarity in my family, and my aunt said that yes, there is, my other aunt and her daughter are also under this doubt. Since this, I couldn't stop thinking and researching about borderline, and it's scary how much I identify with all of the symptoms. All of them.
Also, that would explain a LOT of things in my life. For example, my whole relationship with Mileto, my ex-webgirlfriend. Yes, I webdated when I was 15, you're free to judge me.
Me and her had a relationship that worked based on cycles. There were days where we would be so in love, feeling that nothing would ever end us, imagining a future where we would happily live together with a lot of children and animals in our big house. And, then, the next day we would be fighting so hard that anything would seem to work at all.
Talking to her about it last week, we came to the conclusion that the cycles were there to satisfy both her autism and my possible borderline. By living in a cycle, she would feel safe and confortable, because she would know exactly what's about to happen next, without any scary possibilities that she couln't predict. And I would gladly live in a scenario where I could win and lose interest on her without changing our relationship status.
Yep, that wasn't healthy at all, for neither of us. But we were young and knew little or almost nothing about ourselves, thinking and acting as if we knew everything. That only got us to hurt each other more and more, getting to the point where we broke up definitively, and live happier than ever as friends. She got a girlfriend now, and they're so happy and in love! I'm glad and proud of her, truly. No jealous, just good feelings towards her.
I think that's what love truly is, after all. Being happy about someone, even though you're not the one who got them to feel good.
That leads us to another important point that's been going round and round my head these days: Pablo. He's a boy I met on Tinder when I came to live with my aunt in another state. I downloaded this app because my friends told me so, hoping I would feel a little bit better about my life if I knew new people. They said it would distract my head from thinking about my ex-boyfriend.
Well, it didn't worked 100%, but it actually helped a little.
I started going out with this guy I met there, Pablo, almost two months ago. I think it was 2 weeks after Xande broke up with me. Blame me whatever you want, but I was so desperate to feel a little bit better that I would do actually anything to feel something that wasn't complete sadness and willing to die.
We had sex a couple times, and, in my head, I was certain that it was only this: sex. Hell, how I was wrong.
Maybe I'm feeling things about him, and I'm so fucking scared. The last time I gave all of myself to someone, he threw my heart into the ground and kicked it until it was bleeding. And I'm still recovering from all the wounds he gave me. I had this conversation with Pablo a lot of times, and I honestly think he feels the same, but both of us aren't ready for a serious relationship right now. Specialty me. Seriously, I know that I'll get emotional dependence in anyone that I decide to get romantic with. And I can't do this again. Not now.
I don't think I can survive another heartbreak right now. I still think about Alexandre more than I should, more than it's healthy to think about someone who fucking hurt you until you seriously thought about death, because anything could be possibily worse than what you were feeling at that moment.
That's why I'm so scared. I don't trust anyone with my heart anymore. I can't trust. If I do it, there's a big chance of my heart coming back more injured than it was before, and that I can't handle. I need to recover this first.
Anyway, me and Pablo had the most romantic date I ever had this saturday. We spent the whole day together with my friends and cousin, then I watched him playing football (he's a goalkeeper), and then we went to a hidden spot in the city, where we layed down and watched the stars in the sky, talking about everything. It was so simple, but also so fucking meanable to both of us. It really seemed like I was living inside a romance book or fanfiction.
Alexandre said that life wasn't a book, so I didn't need to be so dramatic at all the times. Well, I think I can romanticize life a little bit now, it wouldn't hurt anyone.
#dear diary#journal#journaling#fuck i wrote a fucking essay about my mental health#yes i suffer from anxiety and depression how did you perceived it?

NO WAY HE GOES TO ASSNA!!! Rice to United all the way
As I keep saying about the United sale: I’ll believe it when I see it. Personally, I’d prefer Douglas Luiz. Put him next to Casemiro in defensive midfield and we improve massively in possession and transition. But if we got Rice and Luiz, I’d be very happy with that too. 😉

After all, are there black flowers?
As incredible as it may seem, the answer is no. What do exist are darker flowers, but none have been found to date with a truly black tone. According to Professor Enio Luiz Pedrotti, PhD in plant physiology from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), the reason is evolutionary. This is because the black flower does not attract pollinators. 🥀🌸💐🌻

Leftist leaders are failing their promises across Latin America
The changing political landscape in Latin America, highlights the decline of leftist governments due to economic challenges, crime, and social reform failures, and the rise of more business-friendly, right-leaning administrations.
![Tumblr media](https://64.media.tumblr.com/1cc7e673d564eb7304eb5137329b16d5/ac99f476379d12af-a2/s540x810/4bf7c9965d493073e8b5ee798a4b0a970dbe8ac3.jpg)
Fears over crime and a failure to keep promises of social reform are starting to take down some of Latin America’s leftist leaders, making room for the return of more business-friendly governments in the region.
In Colombia, the country’s first leftist president, Gustavo Petro, has presided over a moribund economy, a surge in violent crime and a huge wealth exodus. Over in Chile, young leftist President Gabriel Boric has twice tried and failed to rewrite the constitution. Instead, he’s now pushing the country’s biggest effort yet to stop the spread of organised crime. Both were catapulted into leadership as the answer to waves of protests and social unrest in the world’s most unequal region at the start of the decade.
The left will face a crucial test next year, when voters head to the polls in Ecuador, Bolivia and Chile, and in 2026, when Brazil, Colombia and Peru hold their elections. No matter how individual candidates perform, the new LatAm Pulse poll by AtlasIntel and Bloomberg News shows that Latin Americans are growing sympathetic to more business-friendly economic models — a trend that is sure to accelerate if the shock therapy implemented by libertarian President Javier Milei proves successful in Argentina.
“You look across the region and where, right now, does it look like a leftist incumbent, at any level, is coasting to re-election?” said Will Freeman, a fellow for Latin America studies at the Council on Foreign Relations. “I can’t think of a single place.”
At 40 percent and 39 percent respectively, Petro and Boric have the lowest approval ratings among leaders in Latin America’s biggest economies, according to the poll. The notable exception is Brazil’s Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, who has managed to secure the backing of a slim majority of the population nearly two years into his mandate. Mexico’s Claudia Sheinbaum, who took office this month, is enjoying a post-election honeymoon with voters.

Malala Yousafzai Posted On Instagram About Her Fight For Girls’ Education.
By: Natileesblog
Date: June 7th,2023 around 9:43pm

Image of Malala Yousafzai joining International Development Sercretary Justine Greening in London talking about girls education/credit to Simon Davis/DFID'.
Activist Malala Yousafzai posted on instagram a few hours ago about her recent trip to Brazil a month ago for encouraging improvements for school education and experiences.
With the following:
“ I am often asked how I stay motivated in my fight for girls’ education. Last month’s trip to Brazil is the perfect answer. I spent nearly a week travelling throughout this beautiful country, hearing from girls who are determined to learn and the education advocates who are helping them realise their dreams.
In Recife, Black, Indigenous and quilombola girls told me about their efforts to improve learning in their communities, like Gabrielle whose Facebook post about how her school wasn’t providing meals or water caught the eye of the local education secretary, who was able to fix the issue.
At a school in Cabo de Santo Agostinho, girls shared stories of overcoming harassment and abuse and how participating in training programs from @MalalaFund partners helped them to find confidence to speak out about the problems they faced.Deyvilla told me how she learned how policy works: “We made demands about how to improve things in our communities”.
She also thank other organisations promoting increase in girls education, inclusivity, safety, and funds in Brazil and how much more they will be able to achieve.Like the Centro de Cultura Luiz Freire, Anaí, Blogueiras Negras, Centro das Mulheres do Cabo, Coletivo Mangueiras, and Grupo Curumim.
She ended her post with:
“ I left Brazil feeling energised. These meetings remind me that there are so many people in every corner of this world with the same mission: to create a world where every girl can learn and lead. When we are united in our fight, we will accomplish amazing things for girls everywhere. Until next time, obrigada por tudo🇧🇷”.
Matter of fact this isn’t also the first time Malala visited Brazil as she visited five years ago on her birthday.
