This is Prophet. Seeing as my Guardian has little to no recollection of this time, allow me to share on their behalf.
Our first official fireteam was a group of six, formed one year after being established within the Tower. Yes, it is a big group, and yes, it has everything to do with inexperience. Each of them were risen around the same time, that time being roughly a day or so after the Traveler was reawakened during the Red War. This was a very dangerous and challenging time for Veterans, let alone New Lights.
This fireteam consisted of:
- One Hunter
- Two Warlocks
- And three Titans
Our continued experience and cooperation together lasted 2 years, 3 months, and 17 days. Separation, according to data of my own and official records, was due to conflicting ideals that sparked frequent disagreements and compromised missions. This is assumed to be a result of losing fireteam members Keiran and Lillian. A direct order from Commander Zavala, the Titan Vanguard, saw to the remaining fireteam's disbandment and redistribution.
I have pulled the briefings of their public files>

do you have any new wips that are close to done? I don't wanna be pushy and I hope Im not coming across that way but started with begin again and I'm obsessed with your writing. Im working through the rest of your stuff on a complete binge. Are you planning on doing a tears of the kingdom story? I feel like your take on a retelling of the game would be absolute fire especially after reading begin again
Hi! Thanks so much for your comment and I’m so happy to hear you enjoyed begin again! There are some really good novelizations of totk out there already (currently following finding her which has a unique telling in form of Purah Pad logs so its a really cool spin on the game story), so I would need to feel like my contribution would be unique enough to put the energy into such a project. To be honest, while I really liked totk, I loved botw more (done @ me in this, I SAID I LIKED TOTK), and a lot of my brain rot has stemmed from wanting to connect the games better/more.
I do have a few WIPs kicking around. I’m not sure on a timeline. I’m trying to do a comic for linktober and that’s taking up a lot of my spare time.
but for now, here is a little preview:
riptide The true story of Mipha’s Grace. Oneshot. Honestly - had a big breakthrough with this one recently so it might be out soon! A fic in the same vein as desire path and thank you for listening. I’m actually planning on grouping them all together in a collection since they are all zelink from a NPC POV with the influence of nature. like someone should The successor to like someone would, a love letter to side quests, this time in totk and where like someone would was focused on running from destiny, this will be able rushing toward it. The Depths My linktober comic will lead into this. A bad ending au set several years after the end of totk. This will be focused on a bad ending for Link. A deep dive into grief and what becomes of soul that is asked too much. It’s my response to the super cool “bad ending” ideas I’ve seen for Zelda.

Heartbeats quicken. The tremors return. Rose opens her laptop, glancing about to make sure she’s alone. Gods forbid anyone, especially Jade, see her revisit one of her lowest points. She craves it -- to know the bitter ennui of her past mistakes is a nectar that keeps her reality grounded and the fire under her lit. This particular memory is perhaps the worst mistake of her young life though, and to correct it would be to supp deep from the ichor of sweet relief. She pulls up the log...
tacitTherapist [TT] started trolling grimAuxiliary [GA].
TT: So. GA: So TT: It’s come to this. GA: Indeed It Has TT: And you’re still not budging. GA: Consider My Position Entirely Unmoved TT: Entirely? That seems a bit harsh. GA: This Is A Harsh Reality TT: I imagined you’d have at least granted me the niceties and lied about how malleable your convictions are. GA: Rose GA: What Is There Left To Say GA: We Have A Crucial Difference In Opinion That Cannot Be Reconciled GA: We Have Iterated Our Arguments To Each Other For Days Without Relent GA: The Underlying Basis To This Disagreement Is Presupposed On The Notion That This Infernal Game Has Shown You The Right Course Of Action Without Any Other Supporting Evidence That It Isnt Simply Lying To You Once Again TT: They aren’t lies, they’re possibilities. GA: But Only One Of Them Will Happen To Us GA: The Rest Dont Matter GA: Thus They Are Lies And There Is Just One Truth TT: Couching your beliefs that way is what I disagree with. GA: Then You Arent Fucking Listening GA: Only One Of Those Timelines Will Be The One We Are In GA: So Forgive Me If I Buttress My Language In Solipsistic Idiom GA: Unless You Can Give Me More Than One Percent Assurance That We Will All Make It Through This By Jumping On This Fantastic Savior Satellite GA: I Cannot Support Your Idea And I Suggest You Let It Go TT: I can’t. GA: I Know GA: Thats Why Theres Nothing Left To Say TT: I disagree. I think there are a variety of things left to say. GA: Do They Relate To The Problem At Hand Or Are You Stalling TT: Irrelevant. The impetus of communication isn’t inherently problem-solving, it’s to convey meaning. GA: The Impetus Does Solve A Problem GA: You Want To Convey Meaning So The Solution Is Communication TT: Semantics. I’m saying there are other avenues of thought we must explore first. GA: Rose According To You We Are Running Out Of Time GA: Is This Truly How You Want To Spend Your Last Moments With Us GA: Bickering Pointlessly On Separate Computers To Avoid Devolving Into Another Shouting Competition Which Karkat Invariably Wins TT: Would you rather I pivot into sweet nothings about how I’ve so enjoyed our time together on this desolate rock? TT: Would you rather I spin the yarn of our tale aboard this distant laboratory, slowly starving as our grist cache dwindles? TT: Must I recount our feeding calendar in which we literally take turns stemming the hunger pangs until we all eventually succumb to malnutrition and sickness simultaneously? GA: No TT: Then this is how I’m spending my last moments. Quite presumptuous of you to assume I’ve made up my mind as well. For all you know, I could be swayed and end up staying here. GA: Given You Were Just Eviscerating My Position Mere Seconds Ago As To Why We Should Stay Here Im Sufficiently Certain You Wont TT: That’s another issue. Your certainty. The Light has shown me countless avenues to success. There are literally endless timelines in which we follow my advice and everyone meets up to finish the game. TT: And yet you’re somehow unwaveringly certain that none of them will occur? GA: Your Argument Swings Both Ways TT: I don’t appreciate the implicit reference to my confusing sexuality, but go on. GA: If There Are Countless Possibilities In Which We Succeed Following Your Idea Then There Are Also Countless Possibilities In Which We Succeed Not Following Your Idea GA: Its Two Infinities GA: The Question Lies In Which Infinity Is Bigger TT: That makes no sense, infinity is infinity. GA: Yes But Some Infinities Are Larger Or Smaller Than Others GA: Some Infinities Are Not Even Truly Infinity But We Consider Them Infinity For The Sake of Mathematics TT: How does that make even remote sense? GA: While You Were Studying The Majyyk I Was Reading The Calculus TT: I didn’t realize I was speaking to Jade’s pupil. GA: You Arent GA: If I Were Jades Pupil Wed Have Met Up By Now And We Wouldnt Be Having This Inane Conversation TT: But you can become her pupil! If you just come with me. Trust me, Kanaya. Please. GA: I Trust You Rose GA: But I Cannot Go With You GA: Look GA: The Prophecy Satellite Is On The Horizon GA: You Have Not Much Time TT: Technically I have all the time I need. GA: Dave Has Sworn Off His Powers And You Know This TT: He can be convinced. GA: If Your Powers Of Persuasion On Him Are Anything Like They Are On Me I Highly Doubt That TT: Fuck you. GA: Rose
A pregnant pause passes as Rose looks over on the horizon. The satellite is indeed coming into view.
TT: I’m sorry, Kanaya. TT: I love you. GA: I Love You Too Rose GA: But This Is Goodbye TT: It doesn’t have to be. GA: What GA: Didnt We Just Go Over That Im Not Coming With You And That You Arent Staying Here TT: Yes. But if you don’t say goodbye, it means we’ll meet again. GA: Rose This Is Childish TT: If you don’t say goodbye, it isn’t the end. GA: This Is The End Rose TT: It isn’t the end. I’ll see you again. I’ll find John and Jade by myself and we’ll come get you. GA: How GA: How Long Will It Take To Find Them GA: And How Will You Find Us If You Ever Do GA: This Laboratory Is Bound To Continue Drifting Even After You Depart GA: We Wont Stay Frozen In Place Once You Leave GA: This Isnt Like One Of Those Trashy Rainbowdrinker Books You Devoured GA: This Is Real Rose GA: You Must Face This Truth TT: We are the shapers of our world. GA: Not This Again TT: We determine our own fate. GA: Rose This Is A Quote From Another Novel Please Dont Do This TT: We mold the physical to our whims and thrust it forward through our own designs. We shape destiny. We reject that which displeases us and create our own reality. TT: Can you really not indulge me? As this one last act of kindness? GA: I Will Allow You One Kindness But It Will Not Be This TT: Fine. As my last act of kindness from you, I want... GA: It Cannot Be Something Ridiculous TT: I want you to forget me. GA: What The Fuck Did I Just Say TT: Hear me out. TT: If truly everything we’ve been through thus far has meant so little that you can’t put your faith in my decision, I want you to forget it. TT: It will be as if it never happened. I was merely a phantom in this session, and should I somehow return (against your predictions), I will get to vindictively rub it in your face. TT: But if you’re right, and I never return, the pain for you is lessened. You were never in a relationship with me, so there’s nothing to mourn. I never existed. Things were simply bad, and my nagging insistence to redirect our course was never there. TT: I want you to forget me. GA: Rose You Know I Cant Do That TT: Not even for me? As your last kindness? GA: It Would Not Be Kind To Invalidate The Memories You Ensured We Would Create GA: It Would Not Be Kind To Devalue Everything You Have Done For Us GA: And I Still Cherish Those Memories Even If They Led To Something Painful TT: It will only cause you more pain if you hold onto them. I don’t want you to suffer. GA: I Want To Suffer These Memories GA: They Offer Me Some Reassurance TT: But not enough to convince you to join me. GA: No
Rose stops typing, a nerve in her snapping. Her face goes beet-red, despair swelling into wrath. She sets her claws to the keyboard once more.
TT: Then if not by your grace, I’ll make you forget through spite. GA: What TT: I want to be forgotten. I want my existence to be erased from this failure of a timeline. I never loved you. You meant nothing to me. GA: Rose TT: My departure will be a curse upon you unless you forget. Whether by magic or by will, you must forget me. All those memories I made with you meant nothing. I did those things only to ensure my own survival. Your presence was happenstance at best. TT: Now that I’m heading out on my own, our destinies are uncoupled. Whatever happens to you is beneath me. I am taking the path to victory, and you can all squander the rest of your miserable lives here. TT: I won’t come back for you. I gave you all the chances I had. This is your fault. GA: Rose Please Dont Do This TT: You won’t see me again. I’m getting on that satellite and I’m not looking back. Even if I am to die, alone on a satellite, it will be a Heroic death as the only one with any sense not to continue a cursed existence on this fucking rock. TT: I will live with only a spectre of guilt that I didn’t forcibly coerce you onto the satellite with me, chastising myself for respecting your wishes and letting you choose your own demise. TT: That is all. Goodbye.
tacitTherapist [TT] stopped trolling grimAuxiliary [GA].
True to her word, Rose closed her laptop and walked briskly to the edge of the floating laboratory to wait for the satellite to pass by. Sheer anger coursed through her veins, hoping that would mask her true intent. She had never displayed that kind of fury before, let alone to Kanaya. If she played her cards right, Kanaya might still join her, moved by the pure strength of her conviction. But there was no hesitant hand on her shoulder, begging her to stay or to join her. There was no last-second plea, no ‘Rose Wait’, and not even a footstep in her general direction as she waited.
Resigned, she boarded the satellite, breaking her word and casting a desperate glance back as the satellite continued its course away. Through the tiny window, she could see Kanaya simply looking down at her grubtop, her face stained jade. Regret swelled, and for just a second, she could feel herself begin to open the hatch and jump back towards the meteor. But the second passed, and soon she was out of range to give even a cursory wave goodbye.
The same tears begin to stream down her face as she closes the pesterlog and wraps her sheets tighter around her shoulders. She can’t keep putting off her meeting with Cetus forever... but she still doesn’t know how she’ll reckon with the shadow of her failed ploy.

World of Warcraft: Legion (The Azurian Chronicles) - The Tale of Xaligos [The Help of a Deathlord]
Timeline: Patch 7.0
The hour was nearing night, and the sun had nearly set. Sounds of battle traveled in the air above the Broken Isles. Very few places in the area had managed to remain untouched by the ongoing conflict. Xaligos had assumed yet another guise, one that allowed him to carry out his agendas for the Blueflight openly while in mortal form.
A particular Death Knight had caught his interest - "The Hunter" he was called. A Kaldorei that he had tracked for sometime; that was until the re-opening of the Dark Portal. He had gone missing shortly after, only resurfacing when the Lich King assaulted the Silver Enclave with the Ebon Knights of Acherus, and appearing sporadically afterward.
He had been raised into Undeath and made a servant of the Lich King, Azariah Oakenforest was his name. An ancestor of one of Xaligos' most loyal living Dragonsworn. Though the bond he once held with the undead king was long since broken and the Kaldorei was free to follow his own will. A will that Xaligos' had every intention to direct toward the service of the Blueflight. He had found him traveling with a camp of Ebon Knights in Azsuna. They had showed up to fight against the Legion from what his Dragonspawn had been able to gather. His group had taken residence near some elven ruins near the coast, Xaligos saw his prize, he had great plans for him and destiny would deny him this fierce champion no longer....
Feint streams of blue light began to materialize in the air just a few paces in front of the log that the Death Knight had been sitting at. The light flickered in and out like the flashing of fireflies, each time reappearing with clearer image of a humanoid like figure. Although this process took but a moment, a hooded ‘man‘ now stood silently between the kaldorei and the sea. His posture was relaxed; casual even, as if he had been there the whole the time.... Had he?
Xaligos did not speak; not at first, choosing merely to wait until he took notice. Azariah's gaze had been situated far out to the sea; to the stillness and silence that the world deceivingly seemed to be standing in. The far off noise of the camp was nothing but a mere chirp. He was all that was there, or so he thought. Magic began to tighten in the air, and Azariah's unmoving azure eyes started to flicker. Undeath had altered his senses but he could never mistake when energies were at work; as the magic at play sept through his necrotic skin, its feeling akin to syrup on the tongue. The hilt of his sword was resting in the palm of his hand, the tip of the blade only just piercing the sand. Xaligos had come into view, he rose to his feet with sword in hand, with his grip only just enough so that it remained as much.
Tilting his head at Xaligos, the anticipation of what was to come - did not. Instead the silence he had been met with slowly started to drive him to annoyance. As the minute passed, neither one breaking words, Azariah shifted his head back and forth along the coast, his sword arm rising and falling as he spoke.
"Is there something I can help you with?"
His voice was dry and toneless.
The feint sound of the distant camp might have been the reason Xaligos turned his attention to the general direction of the sound. Whatever the reason, it did not keep his attention for to long before he set it upon the Death Knight once more.
"Azariah Oakenforest.... 'The Hunter', that is what they call you is it not? You've been something of a prize to me, I was vowing to keep my distance from you.... Out of respect for an old friend, but in light of.... "
Xaligos looked to the sky, various winged creatures could be seen off in the distance. No doubt demons and other monstrosities of the Legion.
" Well, I'm sure you can see why I would have reason to seek you out now. I've come because I have something to offer you. Whether you wish to take it or not, that is up to you. Though, I will ask for something in return. I am confident however, that you will come to see that what you give will be proportional to what you have to gain....."
His words trailed off slowly, although he had spoke only just loud enough for him to be heard.
Azariah listened, the flickering lich fire in his eyes suffixed to the cowled stranger. He eyed him slowly at the sound of his name being spoken; shifting when the term 'old friend' was remarked. His head turned away as the man continued to speak, and as the strangers words trailed off, the death knight drank in the silence. The blue flames in his eyes dissipated, and the fallen elven warrior stood poised, yet calm, as the sea drifted in the smells of salt and blood.
"What is it that you have brought for me?"
The blue flames in his eyes sparking back to life, refocusing on the 'paladin'. This hooded figure carried a strong presence in both the arcane and the light, surrounding him with a seemingly artificial order. It was a powerful ward, one meant to conceal as well as protect, but conceal what?
"Man that hides himself...."
"You're cautious, I can understand that. A stranger approaches you offering things in the middle of an invasion, surrounded by Demon-"
Suddenly an Alliance carrier flew overhead trailing smoke and fire! Parts scattered across the beach head, most missed Xaligos and the few that came close seemed to dissolve before they could reach him. A near by tree caught fire as the carrier flew out of view behind the mountains, but the dragon merely watched as the random spectacle occurred, with a calmness not all to different from the one displayed by the Death Knight. They were at a Warzone afterall, such things were bound to happen.
".... I've brought you an invitation to make something more out of your Undead life. For now, if you need a name simply call me 'Herald'. I come representing the Blue Dragonflight. We have need of your strength."
The carrier drew the death knights attentions upward. As the carrier came crashing down throwing chunks about, he tensed his sword arm and waited; but nothing had come near, and so his attention drew back to 'The Herald' as he spoke.
Azariah huffed.
"What is your invitation? Speak. "
His voice starting to draw in a harder tone.
A very pleased smile appeared on Xaligos' face at the moment Azariah reached for his sword.
"My invitation is an invitation into the Blue Dragonflight. A life of service to those chosen by the Titans to protect this world. A life helping us to keep the horrors of the afterlife realms in control. Realms that your; state, have given you influential insight on..."
A feint chuckle escaped the Dragon Lord.
"All in all, the well being and survival of our family will become of prime importance. Though I promise you, those that serve the Blueflight are well rewarded."
The Elf ticked his head to the side somewhat dramatically, just before raising his sword arm up as if gesturing towards him with the blade pointed out his side.
"Let me get this straight, you want me to join the Deler,"
he said fluidly in elvish,
"In order to protect your Dieb?"
Xaligos gave a single confirming nod
"Yes. Serve our Brood well and you will find your existence better off for it. You could say no, return to what you were doing, but understand that this -is - an offer. I present to you a gift, the chance to forever connect yourself to line of beings birthed from the heart of Azeroth. We were casting spells before your kind crawled out of caves. Yet, we were made guardians of this world not to gloat or horde our power, but to share it.... Power that could be yours, all that it requires is loyalty. "
Azariah lowered his sword arm, and took one step closer. He stopped, eyes shifting along the man's form once more.
"The hidden one wishes my loyalty in exchange for giving me powers?"
A mock question filled with amusement.
“If what you say is true, I would be a thero’shan.”
He dipped his head, setting his left arm to chest; holding it there for a mere second before lifting his eyes back up.
“But if what you say is false, Ana’duna thera.”
"You will find no lies here Azariah. In time you will come to see how this was all meant to be. That destiny has been putting this off for just the right time, and that time is now. I must depart however, but before I go I will leave you with something to help secure your trust. Come closer.."
Azariah shook his head.
"You know where to find me, come back, Mush'a. "
As he spoke, Azariah took a step back and lowered himself so that he might rest upon the log once more, eyes still glued upon the man who called himself 'The Herald'. The Dragon let out a sigh. He couldn't blame him for his defensiveness, still he needed the Death Knight to trust him
"May you keep such caution when dealing with matters for the Blueflight. Still, I would not have come here and told you of whom I serve just to harm you here and now. Do I appear as one to waste my time dealing with but a single death knight? However important that individual may or may not be...."
'The Herald' paused for a moment.
"It's better if I don't say it out-loud, you'll understand once I give it to you. Give a little trust here and it will be returned in-kind."
Xaligos reached out his hand.
"Come."
The Kaldorei sat there, for sometime - a long time. Much longer than he should have for such an easy and simple command. At last he let his voice carry in a way that seemed unnatural for the elf. And truly, he seemed to spat the words out, demonstrating modest difficulty speaking them. Draconic was the language and he casually asked,
"Speak and i will come."
Reaching out toward the sky with one of his palms the Brood Lord began to channel magics. Drawing on the energies from the unseen amounts permeating all around them, he proceeded to bend these ethereal forces to his will. Now channeling these powers inside of him he expelled them forth. Spherical waves pulsated from his body in methodical intervals toward every direction; holy and arcane magic was being dispersed into their surrounding area.
"You cannot muster enough trust to come closer, and I can't trust that we are safe enough to disclose this out loud. If there is anyone watching, we will soon find out...."
The spell had been intended to reveal that which was hidden. The Dragon's of the blue flight had become very proficient at ensuring their positions were secure, Xaligos perhaps more so than most of his kin. Azariah fell silently still as he watched the magic being channeled. Though detecting no one, the blue dragon slowly lowered his hand.
"It would seem we are safe... This is still a security risk, but very well. Come here, I intend to teach you the spell needed to teleport to our Brood’s last standing Sanctum."
A long gaze fell to the horizon and the sea front, and Azariah soon found himself perching his blade along the back side of his spine; sheathing it. He strode gracefully across the sand to stand just a mere foot away from the man, gazing down at him, saying nothing - merely awaiting this 'Herald' to act. As the Death Knight drew near and came to a halt, Xaligos slowly raised his hand with an open palm pointed toward him. The foot or so of distance between them was perfect, he was close enough now....
"Hold still, it'll make sense in a moment. 'Drakavos kun’zanith Azu'rein!"
The magical words of power were but the catalyst for the rush of information and energy that worked to enter Azariah's mind. A blue rune appearing just in front of the Elf's forehead. The Death Knight's gaze narrowed slightly just before the words were spoken, and then he stepped back. His head shook, a hand rising to his helmet as he stood there, dazed. A long few second passed before those blue flames flickered back to life and focused on the man.
"Thor falah nor dora,"
He bowed his head and held it there for a moment.
Xaligos was pleased with his apparent change in demeanor. It appeared as though his assumption that the Death Knight would see that he was sincere once the spell was cast proved true. Though, time would tell.
"Guard this knowledge with your life. You hold a vital secret, and this is the first measure of my trust. People will have reason to target you now. My home has been well hidden for a long time, and I wish it to remain that way."
"Alah Anu'dora,"
Xaligos had felt it appropriate to respond with a slow but confirming nod.
"Then we have an understanding. I must take my leave, but I depart entrusting you with a task. There is a particular mortal I want apprehended. A human by the name of Rosemary Fox. She is an outlaw, someone you should be able to take care of with relative ease. Find her, secure her, and once you have - bring her to the Azurelight Sanctum."
"As you wish,"
The Death Knight took a step back and after a moments glance, he turned and began to make his way up the beachhead and toward the camp. Xaligos watched as his new champion in the making departed until he was out of view before taking leave himself.
"The stones are being laid..."
A blue light began to radiate from Xaligos, dim at first but growing in luminescence before peaking out as he dissolved into broken fragments of what might be described as crystallized light. Why did he want this outlaw? What use did a Dragon of the Blueflight have for such an individual, and why send someone as lethal as a Death Knight? Questions that would no doubt have their answers revealed in due time....

BOOKIE IS OFFICIALLY READY TO JOIN THE ACADEMY!
› SONG HOSEOK › 25 YEARS OLD › PARACHRONAL COGNITION › 8 YEARS IN THE ACADEMY
POWER
Parachronal Cognition: the ability to perceive how time plays out in parallel timelines. Wielders of this ability can view parallel timelines that have differing past/present instances, or look into countless possible future paths. Proficient users may contact their parallel selves or other individuals while viewing the parallel timelines.
STRENGTHS
Future Visions: Bookie may predict possible outcomes of events and choices of others. Soulbound: Bookie is proficient enough to communicate with other versions of himself without any extra burden on his part. Etched in Stone: Bookie has full access to his own and any other timelines’s and parallel-selves’s past events and memories. Number’s Game: Bookie gains complete probability computation of any future possibility through various means, such as seeing percentages, variables, and choices as if they were tangible.
WEAKNESSES
Cosmic Feedback: Bookie receives pain with varying intensity that is equivalent to the amount of parallel futures that he chooses to access and perceive at one given moment.
Own’s Destiny: Bookie cannot influence other people’s choices by simply sharing those people’s parallel futures in hopes of pushing them towards that parallel path as this shuffles and changes the possible parallel futures, therefore deeming the act of sharing to adjust another’s timeline path counterproductive.
One on One: Bookie is strictly limited to conversing with one individual or parallel self at any given time while he is in the act of viewing parallel timelines.
Mirror Reflection: Bookie may only contact or communicate with individuals of other timelines if there is a personal connection to Bookie’s personal memories.
Raw Data: Bookie computes probabilities in real-time and oftentimes me slightly overwhelmed when he considers all possible options or outcomes at hand.
Sleight of Hand: Bookie is unable to inflict any changes to probability through his powers and may only affect probability through normal human means, like cheating or rigging systems.
Scatterbrained: Bookie is prone to consciousness overload due to the amount of parallel selves viewing his timeline or attempting to contact him. (Think more than one person calling a landline, and “please leave a message!”)
Disillusioned: Bookie starts to suffer from Parallel Viewing, a phenomena where he views the present of other timelines melding with his own (though the timelines are still separate entities), as he becomes more fatigued or stressed, where the intensity and severity of this vision is proportional to his total tiredness.
ORIGINS
Hoseok, the eldest son of four in the Song family, enjoyed a semblance of life in relative normalcy. With a mother and father possessing precognitive abilities, it was of little surprise that he inherited the family’s Sight. Unlike his parents however, Hoseok perceived events and gained knowledge neither through slumbering dreams nor sensory touch, but instead through sheer concentration. Visions of different breakfasts next morning turned into visions of answers to next week’s exams, which turned into visions of him experiencing his first bicycle crash that scheduled to happen next month. The boy spoke out in fear and desire of avoiding certain accidents or fatalities, in which his father forewarned him to “allow Destiny to show the paths, then choose one to follow.” Involuntary trauma pushed Hoseok to numb out random calamities, while his mother pushed him to pursue ‘scenes of optimism’ to help tide over all the collected images he deemed useless. “Nothing you see is worthless, my son. Use this newfound knowledge and choose a path that that benefits you. Even if it seems futile sometimes, know that you are the writer of your own Destiny,” she said. Repeatedly, the boy grew with these words echoing within his drums, seemingly finding not a single vision that did not contain his parents’s vision.
At first, the powers turned him playful. Guessing games eventually grabbed a hold of him, making rock-paper-scissors and hide-and-seek no more than literal child’s play. Conversely, remembering every little detail became as simple as clapping his hands. Birthdays were never forgotten, nor were favorite colors. Curious questions asked were rarely entertained again for hearing the answer would be redundant to the tiny boy. Never had it occurred to his young self that accessing his memories was no longer a mental effort, but rather a retro-cognitive one. Having library after library of previous knowledge aided in his excellence at schooling, forming him a spectacular, yet lazy student throughout the years. Life only became more intense as he gradually realized that some of his memories were not of his own volition, and yet he could vividly play out each sequence as easy as breathing. Seeking advice from his loving mother yielded explanations that he could only accept at the time: “You’re just a smart boy. Do not fuss.” Fortunately, the voices in his head would come knocking to say otherwise.
Twelve years of age, it was then where he had his first interaction with the B. Hive, a collection of other Hoseoks who pursued to perfect the next iteration of Hoseok, or at least improve him in his current prime timelines. Altogether, they represent the ‘B.’ of their timeline. Face to face with a familiar, graying man, Hoseok was introduced to the life of a B. Keeper that goes by the name ‘Brain.’ It was here, somewhere in a time between his childhood and his expiration, that brought forth the true expansiveness of his powerful abilities. “They, other Bs alike you, call me Brain, though know that I am no more knowledgeable than you, fellow B. I only desire to unlock that potential within you.” Scenery changed before his eyes, as he revisits his childhood up to a scene unrecognizable by him. “Find this building. And, these people!” Brain exhibited people with amazing abilities different from his own Dazzled by such a display, Hoseok accepted his fate as a member of the B. Hive. Days ahead went by where an adolescent Hoseok continued to practice his ability in future vision, culminating possible likely outcomes and influencing the events surrounding said outcomes in order to attain one favorable to him. To him, trying to predict the next card to come out a deck or guessing someone’s private log-ins became his recent, normal routine.
Expanding the horizons of his powers ended up with him delving in scenarios an average teenager would not be around. Ultimately, Hoseok was struck with an addiction, constantly winning prizes either in cold cash or personal information. Visions of someone’s next personal information or where they hid lucrative belongings where accessible to him. The teen always remained small-scale, blackmailing fellow peers into giving him won to keep their secrets safe with him and recovering wallets that had been previously forgotten by their careless owners. A simple five-minute sit-in would open up a couple handfuls of past outcomes or possible futures of the setting he would be at, and though Hoseok might not always return with a haul, the few times he turned out to be successful made it all worth it to pursue. As his gains increased, so did his greed.
Dipping into this treasure trove charmed him. Hoseok started participating in local bets, especially on sports. Abusing his power to predict with better odds allowed him to push hard onto underdog teams or unlikely scenarios that were destined to likely happen. The list became endless: guessing what round a boxing match would end; determining whether a player would hit their triple-double; or even calling exactly when a goal would be scored. His focus enhanced the more he divulged, doubling his small allowance and strengthening his precognition in a single afternoon. People actively evaded his pools of choice as his infamy rose. Things worsened so quickly that rather than trying to play the House and others, Hoseok began hosting his own sessions with his peers and upperclassmen. Along with aligning to the path he wanted, the teen took on the local nickname ‘Bookie’ to better stand out among the B. Hive and his friends, seeing that his specialty suited such a reclassification.
Midway through his secondary education, Bookie experienced more and more disasters through his vision. Nearly all of the events were avoided by him, until one Friday evening. Heading to his usual hangout downtown proved to be a pain, as an image of a vehicle crashing through a large window kept reappearing. Unable to ignore these invasions of the mind, the man concentrated on the specific time and place. Locating the setting, his eyes flipped through the picture book, only to realize that although minor details change: shirt colors; the people sitting; or the paper posts, a woman in blue would always suffer the same fate of being the first to collide with the automobile. To him, this type of scenario was unexplainable and incomprehensible because some timelines always had some type of intervention that resulted in a different branch of significant time, then it had hit him. Abruptly, his feet started up a sprint to the next block over, with him spotting the lady. Like a madman, Hoseok screamed to get down and dove to yank the girl out of the way. His head shot back up before he braced his ears for the impact, yet nothing occurred. Angry, the woman got back to her feet to scoff and scold him. A finger flies in the air to point at him in scolding fury but alas, the vehicle finally hits its mark right on time. Shards flew everywhere, with Hoseok barely managing by with only a few scrapes. Now, a horrific scene lay before him.
Disdained as a couple of weeks pass by, Bookie laid low, unwilling to manipulate his parachronocognition due to the incident. His mind became distracted, replaying the scene over and over in the confines of his head, only broken by the greetings of a gleaming stranger. “You’re that kid, right? The one that ran in the shop. Ten days ago, was it?” Frustration built up within as he halfheartedly returned an answer before confusion had set in. “Yes, I was there, too. Oh, where are my manners?” Out extended a hand towards him, Hoseok accepting the shake before conversing. “A scout for the Avenger’s Academy. Yes, the very one! And, we would love to have more heroes like you.” Spreading the news of his invitation to his parents set even more confusion into his heart and soul, with both his mother and father saying that they foresaw him bringing home such news. Yet, to him, this future was blurry and unavailable.
Happily, the years went by at the academy without many stops. Bookie was a studious person not by choice, after all. Besides his regular, mandatory classes in mathematics and literature, he dedicated most of his extra time researching quantum physics and space, seeing that they might have applications to him. Other than a single day in a meditation class and brain exploration, the man would spend eternities in the recesses of his mind, communing with fellow Hoseoks of other universes. In turn, he socially suffered and spent more time literally with himselves, until finding an odd bunch of other fellow ‘outcasts’ with extraordinary powers of their own. Quickly, he adapted to provide the logistics and maneuvers to this group. Additionally, his habits have yet to dissipate as he still ‘collects’ information on others and recovers lost items here or there. Unsavory conduct such as gambling have been set mostly aside for him due to the many restrictions in place, but he has gotten away with a few harmless bets. Overall, Bookie finds that there is a future for him here in more than just learning and perhaps use his unique knowledge to help the Academy in the future.

Set (and achieve!) Goals Like a True Badass
It's that time of year when New Year's Resolutions are a thing. The New Year feels like the perfect time to start fresh, and with the excitement of the holidays, many of us get overly ambitious with our goals, only to end up bombing everything a week later and giving up. Sound familiar?
In our fast moving world, instant gratification has become an ingrained expectation. We expect instant results in all aspects of our lives. Even when it comes to things that we should know take patience and persistence-- like creating an empire or, you know, taking out the local crime boss-- our favorite stories and heroes create unrealistic expectations on the type of work, dedication and persistence that is required to make shit happen.
In books, television and movies, the timeline is necessarily skewed. These stories have to leave out the boring bits, which in reality make up the bulk of the process. We only get to see the exciting parts and then the end result.
Even for Sam and Dean Winchester (from Supernatural, in case you didn't know), there battle against the Big Bads generally take the course of an entire season. So sure, it takes about a year, but we don't see the hours and days of time when they're stuck without a lead, or researching fruitlessly, just hanging out until something comes along. As a viewer, we understand that something is going to happen any minute, and so we hang in there. But Sam and Dean have to hang in there, remaining dedicated to their goal even when it seems like nothing is ever going to happen.
So how do they do it? How do the Winchesters, Superheroes, and real-world heroes actually complete their goals even when things look bleak? Well, they have a process that they stick to-- a process that you, too, can learn to follow.
(Download your free step-by-step worksheet.)
Making shit happen takes so much more than wishing for change. In reality, it takes continual action, persistence, and oftentimes, help from an outside source or two. But follow these steps, and there's nothing you can't achieve!
1. Pick one primary goal that comes from the heart.
When a hero decides to do something, they do it. They don't stall, they don't get distracted by unimportant minutiae, and they don't quit when things get a little hard. They keep their eye on the prize and push forward, no matter what.
2. Figure out why it matters to you.
One of the reasons that our favorite characters and heroes are able to maintain focus and drive when they have a mission is because they know why their goal is important. That know that the end result is sufficiently important to warrant the hard work. If there's no greater purpose, they simply wouldn't bother.
3. Focus on what you need to add to your life rather than what you need to take away.
A frequent mistake we make when setting our New Year's Resolutions or other goals is that we focus on what we want less of-- we want to lose weight; quit smoking; stop biting our nails; less debt. The problem is that when we focus on what we don't want, our subconscious doesn't here the "not" part. So you think, "I want to lose weight," and your subconscious hears "Weight!"
When we look at our heroes-- in this case I'll use Harry Potter-- we'll see that they inherently understand this principal even if they don't talk about it. Harry doesn't spend all of his time dwelling on "what ifs" or focusing on his hate for Voldemort. Rather, he creates positive goals that will propel him forward. He focuses on what he can do right now. Like finding the horcruxes.
Same goes for you. Don't focus on losing weight by thinking about what you can't have; aim instead to add things to your life to gain better health. For example, start by adding 4 servings of vegetables to your diet each day, or exercising 3 days a week. You'll find that adding is hella easier than taking things away, and you'll achieve results quicker because you'll be able to stay consistent.
4. Make a plan.
Sometimes a hero has to think on his feet, but more times than not, that's only when something unexpected happens. But in order to get to that point, first you have to have a plan! What steps do you need to get through to reach your end goal? What tasks will be necessary for each step?
Remember, it's okay to change things up as you go, but it's important to have that starting road map.
5. Enlist the help of others.
Tell me just one character or real-life hero that has never needed help from anyone for anything. Go ahead. Just one!
No matter how good you are, eventually your going to need help. Knowing that in advance will make it easier for you when the time comes. Might as well embrace it now.
6. Track your results.
Unless a goal happens overnight (which, sorry, just doesn't happen) it can be easy to forget what you've accomplished in your journey. And when you forget-- that's when you get discouraged and your much more likely to quit.
All of the best heroes have a way of tracking their results and accomplishments along the way. John Winchester has a journal, the Winchester boys create their wall webs of information, Batman has his lair. Harry Potter, Ron and Hermione continuously discuss what they've found so far and what they still need to find when they're looking for the horcruxes.
Whatever way works best for you-- journals, charts, computer logs, videos, newspaper clippings-- don't let yourself forget how far you've come. Heck, maybe even celebrate once in a while.
7. Never quit!
Sometimes you'll go a long period of time when it feels like nothing is happening. You may feel discouraged and feel like you should just give up. This is the time when you dig in your heels and remind yourself that anything worthwhile takes time. So go scream in your pillow, take a weekend to binge on Netflix in your pajamas, or go for a run. It's okay to take a break. But make sure that during that break you are reinforcing yourself with positive thoughts and words. Then when you're ready, get back to it!
(Note: Every couple or months or so I'll require a week-long break to get my head back in the game. I used to feel guilty about it, but I've come to learn that it's just part of my process. Every time I come back stronger and that's what really matters!)
8. Have fun!
If it's not fun at least some of the time then you need to take a second look at what you're doing. Are you doing it for the right reasons? Any goal that you're not passionate about will quickly go by the wayside.
Can you think of anything else that you or your favorite hero does to make shit happen? Comment below!

So it’s been quite a while since I’ve dusted things off and logged into this. Don’t worry. I’ve been keeping notes.
Where to start? I don’t think there really is a good place to start.
Maybe I’ll break everything down in my future logs. Eventually. Still busy as ever right now. Still wrapping my head around things.
Hell, I’m sure everyone knows the gist of the biggest ones— you Guardians should.
Lets start with the easiest part.
New Hunter Vanguard!
Proud of Crow. Proud that he’s doing it because he wants to. Not a bet, not a dare. Not something he’s not ready for.
I really am proud of him. Doesn’t mean I’m letting the kid boss me around now, but— y’know. Show him some respect, will you?
I myself took a few big steps back, though. Stopped being involved on the field so directly, more research and New Light training. Paperwork and teaching. Was trying that, anyways. With the Echoes acting up? Not much time for it…
First Maya Sundaresh and the Echo of Command.
As I write this, sitting across the table from Crow, the second Echo and its holder have decided to make themselves known. Fikrul reached it. Yeah, that Fikrul. Not sure how many Guardians know about what’s happening directly, but it’s probably worse than you heard. I won’t sugarcoat it.
Live eliksni being taken and turned into Scorn.
An infection. A plague.
I witnessed it happen firsthand— ugly, horrible, instantaneous.
Many of you have probably already been out fighting and performing rescues for scattered eliksni. Keep it up. We don’t give an inch. We protect them just as fiercely as any human, exo, or awoken. Not just because this could impact Sol, but because they’re our people too.
I’ve recently reestablished connections with an old fireteam member by the name of Vuass-4. From my very first fireteam, actually. He works closer with the eliksni than any Guardian I know— it’s best to consult him on matters regarding activity in the Quarter.
We’re working on getting a connection set up. Updates to come, but be sure to listen out for direct Vanguard orders and news. Stay sharp, Guardians.

Back when I was a New Light, I did a lot of tailing people around to try learning my place. Big people, y'know? Veteran Guardians and Vanguard. They were in charge, or had been around so long, and therefore always seemed to know what to do. I didn't. It only made sense to learn by watching and listening, taking up every mission I could and offering to lend a hand.
I was keenly aware of the condition of myself. My condition being that my mind was under constant strain, and that memories served to tangle and weigh on it further. I only had so much space that I could fill, and that space was constantly altered and maintained by my Ghost. The big things, the important things, were what we determined took priority.
I guess I myself determined that connections with anyone were out of the question. With people, there's always so much to keep in mind—little details to remember, things you'll want to desperately hold onto. I was scared of knowing anyone, and I was scared of them knowing me, since I would likely never hold onto our interactions. I know it wasn't healthy. I know now that it's probably done a lot of damage that even the Light can't reach and I can't shake. Habits form and die hard, but all I can do is try to unlearn them.
As a result, I didn't talk much. I didn't serve as anything but droning support. You can't connect with people when you don't try to stop from fading into the noise. I thought it was easier to be so disconnected from everything. Most Guardians forgot I existed for my first year or so at the Tower, and I don't remember much of anyone at all. I did a lot of work to push through the ache of loneliness that isolation caused. That, of course, included direct Vanguard work once I was out of that "You've been dead for a helluva long time—hope you're ready for war" haze and could follow instructions.
Ikora, Zavala...Cayde.
Now, Cayde, I used to follow him around like a stray puppy way back when. I didn't talk much—as I said, watching and listening. I don't know what it was about him. Maybe because he was the opposite of what I was: confident, skilled, optimistic, sociable. Maybe it was because he saw me first. I was fresh out of the grave and lost, with no voice, no identity—like a proper machine of war.
I remember a vague sense of envy.
I wanted that. I wanted to be that.
In hindsight, I think you can't just be that—Cayde was...well, that was him. Something uniquely him. Be as capable and funny as you want, there isn't a way to be Cayde-6.
Though it helped something click, I think, when we talked for the first time. Not an actual conversation, mind you. More like our first exchange of words.
I was partnered up with a fireteam of Guardians roughly my "age." Didn't know them, I don't think, but they talked like they knew each other. The run itself was the sort of run you give to newbies to prepare them without throwing them to the wolves. Supplies? I can't remember the shipment, but I do remember a real angry Captain kicking my head so hard into a rock that Prophet had to bring me back. So much for not throwing us to the wolves, but not the point.
It was the first time I was acknowledged directly because I was fading into things, not noticed. Acknowledged.
We were heading out after the debrief, and Cayde stopped me. The first thing he said to me was: "You've been floating around the Tower a while, that right? I've spotted you a few times."
I told him I had, and that I preferred to keep my hands busy and head low.
He just nodded, patted me on the shoulder as he was walking off to get back to it, and called back a "Then keep the kids in check for me, yeah?"
Looking back, it wasn't much—closer to nothing than something. At the time? It was everything. Being seen when I wasn't trying to be, having my existence pointed out—it was like confirmation that I was real. I was alive. I was a person.
I didn't consider myself much of a person before that. I wasn't sure what I was.
But I liked that feeling. Being seen was a good feeling. It scared me to know people were perceiving me even when I tried to avoid it, but it was still a good feeling no matter how much I wanted to convince myself it wasn't.
It clicked that I didn't want to be alone. I wanted to know. I wanted to be known.
I don't know if he knew or knows how much that exchange impacted me. Something so small—something that was definitely just courtesy for him to make sure even the quiet-types felt like they had a place.
What's funny is that he probably wouldn't remember if you asked him. So many Guardians he met and talked to every single day...
But I remember.
Maybe I'll look for an old picture from back then…

{V1}} What a shame she isn’t a Titan! All that power must be put to use!
{S3}} Powerful ark Light. Excels in the backlines. Works best with a sniper rifle in her hands.
{K}} She’s a ray of sunshine— keeps us all together.
{M8}} Brilliant.

{B}} I actually really loved the cloak. Im sorry I didn’t wear it. The flowers were a sweet touch, not stupid.
{V1}} I hope you’re at peace. You’re missed. You’re loved. Always.
{S3}} I miss you. I miss you so much. You were the smartest, happiest person— there was so much for you still. You made the world brighter and filled it with more colour than I ever realized now that you’re gone. I’m sorry we argued before it happened. I’m sorry I never apologized. I’m sorry you’ll never see the end of the fighting. I’m sorry we’ll never start that garden. I love you.

“Fireteam is going out to investigate the signal pinging from Nessus. It’s been thirteen days since the initial ping was received. Attempting to transcribe only comes up with static and a jumble of high frequency noises— it’s unlikely this is anything but Vex. The team is prepared to handle this operation and will exercise caution. I will report further later, once we have located the source.”
UPDATE>>
“Source seems to be a dormant Hydra. Nearly 15 feet tall— the biggest this fireteam has seen. We’ll do extra digging to make sure we’re not missing anything, then turn back and pass this to a more experienced group. We’re unprepared for dealing with this ourselves.”

There are no further reports made by Lillian.
Lillian and her Ghost met their final death on Nessus, [####-##-##].
The Guardians body was recovered within 30 days. Her Ghost remains in a fractured state across their final battlefield. While recently located, collection efforts are ongoing.
[Combining fireteam accounts]
Shortly after her updated report was logged, the fireteam were attacked by Vex. The Hydra soon became active. Each Guardian filed their own accounts, the most notable from the activation being:
{V1}} I do not know what happened. It was loud suddenly. Louder than the gunfire. Everyone was shouting. Then it got bright.
{S3}} She was too close. We couldn’t get to her in time.
{M8}} I heard the charge before I saw it. When I turned, Lillian was being hit and Keiran nearly ended up with her.
The death was described as sudden by every account.
From what I conclude, Lillian and her Ghost were caught in the first beam fired. Her Ghost destroyed near instantly and she herself [filtered] and [filtered]. Fireteam member Keiran was closest, writing that he tried to run for her the moment the Vex started warming up to fire. In his words, “Nobody had noticed, and I wasn’t fast enough.”
Lillian and Martyr-19’s last recorded correspondence took place on [####-##-##]. One day before she was killed:
>>{Lillian[warlock, awoken]}
“I’m just saying that you should consider transferring out too. At least one day. Why should our entire lives revolve around this? There’s more than that! I want to learn, that’s how I can play a part.
Maybe one day it won’t be for the Vanguard, and instead it’ll be for me! Learning everything I can about flora, fauna, and planets from around the galaxy— it’s a dream. You need one too. Everyone around here does. Nobody seems to remember we’re humanity, not just fighting for it.
The fight won’t last forever. I know I’m nowhere near the first to say it.
Every war ends. You need something or someone besides your Ghost that keeps you going when the dust settles. We’re just guns otherwise.
Those drawings you do— ever thought about painting?
Start there!
Find something. Grow. Change. Love.
It’s human!! <3
I’ll see you bright and early tomorrow, busy day!
Didn’t mean to get all profound. It’s been a long week.”
-
-
Many forgot Martyr’s existence as he locked so tightly to himself, that part is accurate. His fireteam, however, cared for him deeply. Lillian expressed such the most.
He cared for them too.
His loneliness did not have to persist, but he was afraid. I did not know what to do, so how could he? I do not blame him. From every old exchange I’ve read, neither did they.

Keiran and his Ghost perished on Titan, [####-##-##]. This death was approximately 6-7 months after the loss of fireteam member Lillian and served as a the true breaking point of the group.
[combining fireteam accounts]
Reports indicate the fireteam was overpowered by Hive forces outside the New Pacific Arcology. Accounts describe that in a final effort to ensure the survival of the remaining four Guardians, Keiran collapsed an unstable platform support after the others had crossed to safety.
The result claimed both Keiran and the Hive forces, initially from the impact of sliding shipping containers while trailing units were eliminated by the complete collapse of the platform structure into the ocean. Keiran's body and associated Ghost remain unrecovered, with no detectable signal or coordinates to their current location. The extreme water pressure at such depths makes retrieval efforts highly inadvisable.
Multiple attempts have been made to change the name of file from ‘Keiren’ to ‘Keiran’. Status pending.
Keiran and Martyr-19’s last recorded correspondence took place on [####-##-##]. Three days before the incident on Titan:
>>{Keiren[titan, human]}
“Vuass helping that Fallen was insane, right? Both just laying down their weapons? Since when do they do that?
He’s always been too soft for his own good. Somehow he didn’t end up with a shot to the head or a knife to the chest.
They looked badly injured when he’d pulled that beam off of them— I don’t think they’ll make it long out there.
You’re a Warlock—
Was it better or worse that he helped?
Does he have a point about the whole “Ally till proven enemy” thing, you think?
And why do I care?”

NEW LIGHTS.
I’m shepherding a new group of you for the week, this is for all who are participating. I’m not the Vanguard, just assigned and expecting you all to be on your best behavior. I’ve heard things have been getting rowdy, so we need to cover the basics. Gotta remind y’all again of some of the Tower ‘do not’s:
Do NOT jump off the side of the Tower for the ‘experience’, you WILL regret it. Your Ghost reviving you does NOT make it hurt any less.
Do NOT try tricking Banshee into giving you a new gun, having a bad memory does NOT make him an idiot.
Do NOT harass the Postmaster. I promise you don’t get engrams from walking to Tess and back. You’ll know when you have to pick one up.
Titans:
Do NOT keep asking your fellow Titans to activate Light abilities and punch you as hard as they can because ‘you can take it’. You CANNOT.
Warlocks:
Do NOT try showing off your casting abilities in the Tower common areas. We do NOT need accidental detonations in the Hangar or unstable vortexes opened up in the Courtyard. You WILL be expected to have the glimmer to pay for damages.
Hunters:
Do NOT try to enter unauthorized areas. There is NOT loot for you there. Restricted zones are restricted for a reason— I don’t know who taught you otherwise. I’m not Cayde, if any of you are caught doing this you WILL be reported and monitored more closely. Believe me, none of us want that.

“All has been calm and quiet within the Eliksni Quarter these past few months despite the chaos brought on by the Witness. Those further integrated outside of Quarter bounds have ran into little to no issues. According to the accumulated records of [####-##-##]-[####-##-##], Vuass-4 has exhibited a nurturing disposition. The Titan has been stationed within the Quarter and related integration efforts since the Eliksni's initial arrival in the City. Vuass-4 has been outspoken in advocating for both Eliksni and Cabal allies. He has demonstrated a deep commitment to maintaining peace and ensuring the safety of all involved parties, a dedication that has persisted over the years.
There are very little logs of his activity, suggesting distancing from Vanguard-Tower operations.
While he also appears to have re-established amicable terms with Sentry-3 and Bev, he has no official fireteam.
Last contact with Martyr-19 was [####-##-##], three days after the fireteam was disbanded:
>>{Vuass-1[titan, exo]}
“Im proud of how far you’ve come. For all we argued at the end, I do not regret our time as teammates. Remember what has happened here and learn from it. You’re quiet now, but I’m confident you’ll grow into yourself. You’ll make it.
Voice loud. Eyes up. Fight strong.
Devotion. Bravery. Sacrifice.”

I worry.
Despite my detachment in many of these logs, I do harbor a genuine care.
I care for everyone across Sol.
However, it mostly lies with my Guardian.
He is mine.
He is my responsibility.
Mine to worry for. Mine to care for. Mine to support. Mine to guide.
Mine to love.
He is a child. He is my child. He is what I brought into this world.
I searched so long for him.
I thought I would never find him.
But I did.
And then suddenly, I felt as if I had found myself and a stranger all at once. I felt as if I had known him for an eternity and yet I couldn’t wait to meet him. I could feel our path, every single beautiful and horrible branch of it— and never once was I afraid. I knew we would have each other. I knew that would be enough.
When you share the same Light— the same soul— it is impossible to sever. Part of you will always be a part of them.
I’ll be with him till the very end.
Light or Dark.
Win or lose.
I am his. He is mine.

I do not have access to reports beyond those from the initial fireteam tenure. The Guardian has implemented strict privacy measures, and the reasons for this are not mine to speculate upon. Access is restricted to Vanguard leadership and current fireteam members- confirming the presence of a new fireteam.
Cross-referencing data from Vuass-4 and Bev's activity, I can again confirm that she has begun communicating with them.
Vanguard reports provide limited insight into her monitoring activities of the House of Dusk within the European Dead Zone.
I can conclude that privacy is of the utmost importance to her. Given that she has thoroughly locked down her current information, I believe it unwise to share the {15} pages last transmitted between Sentry-3 and Martyr-19 on [####-##-##]. The day of fireteam dissolution.
I will, however, summarize:
>>{Sentry-3[titan, exo]}”summary”
“Do not message me again.”

“The Vex are still pushing Neomuna. Nimbus says it’s a typical issue even in fuller force, and I’m inclined to believe them. Shadow Legion numbers are seeing a, thankfully, steady decrease and we’ve been in touch with Empress Caiatl on how to approach the lingering threat.
Submitting a request for the relocation of {titan, exo}}[Sentry-#] Sentry-3. She knows better than anyone how to organize the fireteams needed to secure the city.”

Based on the available data, the Guardian has undergone significant maturation over the years, as is expected among New Lights. They have demonstrated rising proficiency in mission leadership and the ability to deliver devastating blows to enemy support structures, frequently employing incendiary devices in their operations.
They appear to have re-established amicable terms with Sentry-3 and Vuass-4. While they are officially logged as having a fireteam, recent reports indicate they have begun requesting assistance from both Titans, which they have received. Interactions with Vuass-4 date back further than those with Sentry-3.
They had attempted this same reconciliation with Martyr-19 on [####-##-##]. Unfortunately, this had been mere hours before the death of the Hunter Vanguard.
My Guardian has been unsure how or if he should return communication after so long.
They have not sent further correspondence beyond their last, one week after the death of the Hunter Vanguard:
>>{BEV[hunter, human]}
“Never spoke to you after the split, but a Warlock shadowing the Hunter Vanguard is hard to miss when you’re— y’know— a Hunter. I guess you were close. Never heard you talk as much as you did around him. You going to do what you are seals it, right? Whispers around the Tower about you running off to hunt Uldren Sov.
Not going to talk you out of it or lecture you on ‘being the bigger person’. That’s not my job. I don’t think it’s anyones. Maybe Ikora’s. Zavala’s too? Did they try? Had to have, they’re the Vanguard. But then again the Vanguard slips every now and then— why wouldn’t they for a friend?
The loss you’re feeling? We get it. Hunters, I mean. Don’t know where this leaves us. But it stings. Bad. Plenty are feeling aimless, and angry, already. Don’t let it make you stupid. We’ve never had a track record of grief making us smarter, have we?
Not saying I don’t like what you’re doing.
If you make it back, and you really should consider not dying because a 50% survival rate from our original fireteam looks real bad, me and Vuass could buy you a drink. Big guy didn’t know what to say to you.
Don’t be a stranger anymore.”
