~===Hazy Memories===~ {DC RP Starter}

Darkness. This is all she saw as she opened her eyes. She doesn't remember the last thing she was doing nor the last person she spoke to. It felt odd... lonely even. Unsure where she was, she only saw a dark void. Was she dead? Did someone manage to kill her?

It didn't feel like that, it felt more ethereal and airy, like she's just floating in some nothingness. That is until a light showed up; not a normal light, but one that flickered. She moved towards it, it felt like swimming but without water as she approached it.

She slowly woke up, vision blurry and unsure of her surroundings. The flickering of a light above her gave her a clue, not much though as it was all... well, hazy and disorienting to her. When she noticed a shadow standing near her, she couldn't recognize who it was.

But the sound of beeping and other noises placed her in a hospital room of sorts, clearly somewhere in Gotham still as she noted a faint sounds of familiar sirens outside. She turned to face whoever was in the room with her, unsure who she was looking at as her vision was slowly becoming not as hazy.

Final thoughts:

Bobby’s story gets more and more heartbreaking with every chapter and flashback to his past. His defense of his dad, his anger at his mom and brother, him fulfilling that cycle with his own alcoholism, except the outcome is the other way round - instead of only him dying for his mistakes, he’s the only one who lives. Was ready to hate on his mom, but idk… it’s tricky. Other than her Very #Exploitative profession ofc, her actions are understandable - she was right not to have climbed into the casket with her husband. But also no, she shouldn’t have left her youngest child, and continued to leave him for literal years.

As for Buddie… BOY ARE WE FEASTING! Buck struggling to sleep in Eddie’s house, Tommy reunion bringing the unsaid into the light, the words “Buck being in love with Eddie” (however much they’re phrased as “incorrect”) is now in the TEXT of the show, Maddie saying would that be so crazy? We have been FED.

Not loads of Chim, and basically no Hen, but that’s to be expected with Aisha directing. She did a FABULOUS job btw. I loved that we’re getting more little moments like the Han’s and Buck, plus some Bathena. All the scenes flowed way better than they have been so far (cough cough Buddie Freddy Fakeman arguement cough cough) with less of the stilted, I-don’t-know-what-to-do-with-my-hands moments. Aisha if u see this I’m throwing all the flowers at ur feet!

Overall, VERY happy with this episode. A lil scared for where this is going regarding Buddie, but hey, when are we not? The price of a fanon ship. Also why have they got me warming up to Tommy lmao. Like I’m happy to NEVER see him again, but I’m not… mad he was in the episode? Like his presence is bringing up a LOT of Buck’s feelings to Eddie, plus the confirmation that Tommy was ~ suspicious ~ abt Buck and Eddie’s relationship is nice. Anyways, Aisha Hinds did amazing, as predicted! I rlly hope she directs more in the future! (After more Hen storylines ofc)

I had to go hunt down what I already posted about the Mimic Steve AU lmao

It's honestly easier to read the first part here , but basically, it's an AU that centers around how the Steve we know isn't actually Steve Harrington; he's a replacement that his parents bought and paid Brenner/The Lab for.

What he actually is, is a being similar to humans with mimic-like abilities from another dimension. They kidnapped him at a young age and then later tortured him into being Steve when the real one passed away from cancer as a child.

There's a vast number of problems happening when the story starts but the biggest is that Robin and Nancy have accidentally discovered that the real Steve Harrington is dead and the house Steve lives in doesn't actually belong to the Harrington's.

In a panic-ridden attempt to prevent them from discovering he's a monster from an alternate dimension whose stuck, Steve taps Eddie for help on grounds that he has romantic feelings for Eddie and already thinks he doesn't deserve to be loved in return. I he loses Eddie as a friend over this then well-- chances were that was gonna happen anyways because he sucks at hiding that he's in love--but he can't lose Robin.

In his head, that means Robin can't learn that he's not human

He frantically shook his head. “No, I’m not. I’m a copy of Steve, one they forced so hard that it--it overwrote the real me. I don’t know who I actually am, Eddie.”

Threaded their fingers together. 

“Okay.” He said, eyes searching Steve’s own. “What can I do to help you find yourself?” 

Steve stared back. 

“I haven’t--I never…” He trailed off faintly, all thoughts of who he had been and who he was impersonating vanishing in the face of his reality. 

That Steve’s life had been so preoccupied with keeping himself safe by living within a lie, he never actually spent any time trying to figure out who he was. 

Eddie seemed to realize this, and nodded once as if Steve’s expression was an answer in and of itself. “It’s okay. I mean it. It’s a big thing, and it’ll take you some time, but I’ll be there with you if you want me to be.” 

Steve sniffed.

“Even if I turn into a car again?” 

Eddie laughed softly. ‘Yeah Sunlight. Even if you scare the shit out of me by turning into a car again.” 

“They’re emergency purposes only.” Steve said--and he meant it. 

(The fear of getting stuck as something non-human had terrified him so badly the car incident had left him puking up his guts for two days after, nerves shot.)

to make a long story short, me opening CB kickstarted a lot of fandom drama and it affected my mental health severely. i felt like a goddamn politician trying to make everyone happy and violated my own boundaries multiple times in the process. suddenly i was a bad guy for doing 'x' and 'x' when i had literally no clue about who any of these people were, and i was 'picking sides' when i was just trying to have fun on discord with fellow johnny fuckers😭

some people started making up weird narratives about me. they started posting weird callouts + tried to send people after me for direct contact. i received anon hate, woke up everyday to new vague shit posts on a dumb ass anon hate blog, etc, etc.

a few weeks after this, confrontation number 43982394 happened in regards to server stuff. more drama happened, an unhappy encounter followed, and that was really just the cherry on top of everything. after this more callout posts happened, etc etc, and i was just done with it all. i sincerely dont know what i did to deserve that kind of treatment when i was nothing but accomodating and empathic, but yeah, it is what it is. moving forward now and im slowly returning to the servers i used to be a part of. like bro i just wanna enjoy art and have fun???

to end this with, i had many health scares this year, with many ER visits and surgery. im still recovering from everything and its a bitch but ayyyy we made it <3

John struggled harder against Nihlus, kicked, punched, spat, cursed — then went still as Jane’s head turned all the way around to face them. 

And shrieked. Not the scream he expected either, no, what came out of his sister was hundreds, thousands of voices screaming, sobbing, begging, praying all at once. Its volume grew and morphed into a bellow that seized hold of his mind and squeezed and squeezed and squeezed —

Saren had offered to help. There were two shovels, after all, and they were both biotic.

Jane grabbed one, then shut the shed. “I need to do this,” she muttered, and started digging.

Dark clouds rolled across the sky.

Once she’d broken through the grass, it wasn’t so bad; the ground was soft and the work was repetitive and Eden Prime was quiet, so quiet now that most of its population was gone.

“It’s going to rain,” Saren said, shortly before the first drop landed on Jane’s nose.

“The porch is covered,” she told him, and kept digging.

All at once, the sky opened up. Somewhere in the downpour, she could hear Saren swearing, dragging the cloth-wrapped body onto the covered porch. Jane took a deep breath.

Focused on digging.

Thunk. Swish. Inhale. Swish. Thud. Exhale.

She’d barely made progress before the first aches settled into her shoulders and back. It was 2183. She didn’t have to do this. Holes could be dug with machines, with lasers, with bots.

Thunk. Swish. Inhale. Swish. Thud. Exhale.

Machines, lasers, and bots had certainly made the body that would fill this one.

Thunk. Swish. Inhale. Swish. Thud. Exhale.

But so had her own negligence. All the bodies littering Eden Prime weighed down her shoulders, adding to the pain spreading down her arms and legs.

Thunk. Swish. Inhale. Swish. Thud. Exhale.

She didn’t have to do this, but she needed to.

The corporal didn't have any family left that would bury him. There wouldn't be a wake, a funeral, an awkward standing-around of relatives who could barely stand each other, picking at the potluck fare for however long seemed appropriate so their departure wouldn't look like an escape. He had no cousins, no uncles, no brothers, no father to carry his expensive wooden box to the hole a machine had dug. He had no friends left. Sandra couldn’t dig him a hole — didn’t need to, not after what she’d seen. John and Kaidan were several systems away.

Maybe you’ve got Anderson and your parents and the Smiths and the Harrises, some smaller, more vicious thing spat in her memory, but all I’m stuck with is you.

Jenkins just had Jane, pulling his dead weight over her back to transport him from the porch to his final resting place. The storm raged on, softened the ground even more. It sucked her into the muck with every step and caked onto her armor up to her knees. She lost her boots somewhere along the way.

Maybe she should have left Powell alive.

Saren had offered to help.

Maybe she should have accepted it.

I’m sorry , she’d mouthed seconds before machines dug a hole straight through the corporal. He might have accepted it, had he still been around to. She wouldn't forgive herself, though, even after all this.

It didn’t feel right to just dump him in, and the ground seemed to agree, crumbling beneath her feet and dumping her into the hole instead. There was a metaphor in there somewhere: lying in a grave she’d dug with her own hands, beneath the soldier who’d be alive if not for her.

She belonged there.

“We have work to do, Jane,” Saren reminded her.

He was right. Jane struggled out from under the corporal’s corpse, arranged him like a funeral home might, and made her ungraceful exit from the grave. She was more mud than Marine at that point, but there was work to do. She picked up her shovel.

Thunk. Swish. Inhale. Swish. Plap. Exhale.

She could mourn this man she’d barely known later, after she’d hunted down the bastard who sent his machines to Eden Prime.

Thunk. Swish. Inhale. Swish. Plap. Exhale.

Burying Jenkins was harder than digging the hole; it took seven attempts to convince herself that it was okay to throw dirt on his face — she was returning him to his mother, that was the reason that finally stuck. She was returning him to his mother, and he would help her garden grow.

When she was done, Saren sprayed her down with the half-rotted hosepipe he’d found coiled against the side of the prefab. It didn’t matter if she was wet, he told her, it was raining anyway. Water would dry. The blood on her hands wouldn’t, but the water would.

That was okay, too, he told her, albeit in much prettier words. He and his ship were both stained far deeper than anyone ever should be.

A bit more of a random-sounding Top 10 for Voiceplay to do, but they did something similar 4 years prior with "Aca Top 10 Summer Hits of 2015" (or something like that - I never watched it). Yeah I mean you hit the nail on the head, asexuality is big broad spectrum and it requires a lot of understanding.

People are really unfairly unforgiving of Ford in general. I've said why in the past and I stand on that. I am his official defence attorney after all.....

As you said, he spent half his life on the run in the same way his brother did. Ford's experience was very different location wise and so he wouldn't have had the time nor the luxury to examine himself in that way. Sure, he probably got some down time but that particular topic wasn't of great importance to him when his main mission was to kill Bill [ironside sirens] Then on his return, he has to readjust to so much more on top of his pre-existing trauma.

A hug would probably make him cry.

I don't even think Ford cares about labels. He has things he considers to be much more important take precedent in his life. Canon!Ford is blatantly aroace, we get told it in the Journals! He just doesn't give a fuck because he's got other shit going on. I do dislike that it's played for laughs a lot, though.

Ending Announcement:

Hello, I'm here to say that, after all the silence, that this ask blog is officially over.

BUT! I might still post drawings here from time to time of the characters. There are still a few I never did get around to adding to the cast, but I do hope to draw in the future!

Under the cut, I'll put the "story" (more-so story chunks) I had planned for this blog. I'm going to say this now: There wasn't much actually planned, and all that was was from several years ago at this point. (I was actually hoping to wing it for the most part ^^;)

The first portion of the story, which I did start, was diving into Amethyst's backstory. Originally working at a jewelry store, Amethyst had developed a fascination with gemstones. He saved up a lot of money overtime, and ended up purchasing his own store as well as starting his own mining company. Everything went smoothly for many years. At some point he ends up finding a shadow crystal. The day after, however, there was an accident in the mine. There was an explosion that, thankfully, didn't kill anyone, though many of the miners were injured, and Amethyst lost one of his eyes to shrapnel. After that, he deemed the shadow crystal to be bad luck and stored it in a box, forgetting about it. Many years later, AKA the present, he'd wind up finding it again. After, he'd get a phone call where a Strange Someone would ask him for the crystal, offering knowledge in return. At this point, I was going to rely on the askers to try and get one of the others to check on Amethyst. Whoever it was would end up hanging up on the Mysterious Person, though Amethyst would learn some truth about their world.

I also did plan on having Scarlet have a dream about the light world, and end up painting the sky during the day, only to end up realizing, "Wait, is this what that little one (Spamton) used these same colors for???" I hoped that the askers would bring up that it was the same color as the light world's sky, and end up freaking out Scarlet a bit.

I also was trying to plan something for Robin involving their plants, but never did settle on anything I felt was a good way to go in the plot.

Cocoa never had any weird things planned for them.

A character I still have yet to draw, Alabaster, would have had a tune come to him either in a dream or out of the blue, which would end up being similar to Gaster's theme. (All this was at the time when I thought Gaster was the mysterious person, however idk if he is or not nowadays). Speaking of Alabaster, he is the owner of a music store. His color is beige. He's a bit more up-tight and professional than the others, but he does have a soft spot. His favorite music is classical and while he does enjoy other genres, he usually pretends he either doesn't care about them or doesn't like them.

Another character who's yet to make an appearance is named Sketch. He's a much more shady Addison, mostly doing illegal things as a job (what exactly? I never specified in my notes...) His coloring is half red and half white, the sections between the two colors looking glitchy/blocky. After the scenario with Amethyst and the Mysterious Person, Sketch would end up hijackings the askers' line for a bit. This is when they'd be able to find out a bit about him. My plan for him was that he once knew the same person on the phone as Spamton did, however he only got partially corrupted, unlike Spamton. At one point I was going to have Scarlet interrogate him since they saw him creeping around the backallies when she went to do some graffiti years back. I don't entirely remember what it would be about, but most likely if he had seen either something sketchy (ayyyy) or maybe they wanted to find Spamton to talk to about the light world's sky or something.

There were also two other Addisons I was unsure if I was going to add or not. Both don't exist in reality, now Goners. I wasn't entirely sure how to implement them into the story, though. Their names are Dust and Charcoal.

Anyway, for those of you who read through all this, those who stuck around for a while, and those who sent in an ask or two,

Benjamin snorted. A wry smile tipped the corner of his mouth and he spared her a sidelong glance. "Is that a fact?" he asked. "So, are you saying I can just coast by with serving Your Majesty? Because I could be amenable, if that's all it takes to earn a bride."

He wasn't quite too hopeful -- he'd gone his entire life without a real, genuine love -- yet with the sly gleam to Anne's eyes, he at the very least felt reassured in her convictions.

Glancing her way again, Benjamin's gaze softened at the slight truth to her quip. "I'm not going anywhere," he promised. "First and foremost, my vow is to you, Your Ma- er...Anne. And if you need me, naturally, that will take precedent over any imaginary romance you've conjured for me."

Anne's fears were founded, but not in Caleb's case. The man was as breezy and devil-may-care as they came.

"He'll be fine," Benjamin promised. "He might swing a rifle in our direction, but the man has sense -- well, some sense, anyway."

The rest of their travels were (mercifully) uneventful, and at Anne's query, he nodded. "Wait here," he encouraged. "It's best if he sees me first. That way, if the arsehole does come out swinging, he'll have met his match."

Flashing a lopsided smile, if only to show he wasn't concerned, Benjamin approached the door and then rapped on the surface.

A long pause came, followed by the door swinging open. "Oi, this had better be good, 'cause I've got a lass waitin' upstairs for my giant..." Trailing off, Caleb gawped at the other man on his doorstep, long and hard, before exclaiming, "Ayyyy, Benny-boy! Where've ya been, you ol' bastard?"

"Not wenching," Benjamin replied, chuckling as the whaler tugged him down for a fierce, unyielding squeeze. "I'm afraid I've come on unofficial business. Are we safe to talk?"

Caleb withdrew and glanced over at Anne. "You got yourself a girl then, eh?"

"What? Er..." Clearing his throat, Benjamin quickly added, "We'll explain inside. Is your 'lass' safe or not?"

"I'll get rid of 'er," Caleb promised, "though you owe me one, y'hear? She's very nice, if you get my meanin'."

While the whaler ducked inside to parts ways with his "friend," Benjamin returned to Anne and helped her down from her horse. "I'll get our mounts tied up and watered," he said. "In the meantime, why don't you go indoors? I'll bring in our bags. Caleb's...well, he's loud, but harmless. I'm sure he'll love you. Everyone else does."

Or rather, everyone who didn't know the politics involved.

"You have plenty of time," she assured him, her lips quipping upwards. "Besides, if we survive this, you will become the most eligible man in the whole country. Which woman wouldn't want to marry the saviour of the monarchy? Although, perhaps, I will not allow it. Whatever would I do without you?" she teased, but there was a sliver of truth in her words.

With the distance increasing between them and the chaos of Paris, it was easier to pretend they were travelling for frivolous reasons. Another trip to the fertility pools, perhaps? It was still too painful to dwell on the truth for so long. What would she find, if she could ever safely return to her home? Her hope for the future, and the growing life inside her, had to sustain her.

Benjamin's evident trust in his friend reassured her, and she nodded. "Very well. I hope he will not be too...surprised by our arrival." Or too greatly endangered. Thankfully, the rest of their journey passed without incident; the road was quiet, and the few travellers they met did not give them a second glance.

"Is this it?" she asked, with just a hint of unease, as they approached a small building.

This big guy has a shell made out of steel and an attitude colder than the arctics. And as his S/O, it was your job to break through his tough facade! But how? You have been together with him for some time now but other than small smiles, nothing really made him crack in front of you. That is until you noticed you never kissed him directly on the lips! and this is exactly what you did. His eyes widened but his arms held you close to him.

The Wraith - Philip Ojomo

Getting close to you in the first place wasn’t an easy task for him. Now he’s supposed to kiss you on the lips?! That was something you had asked for randomly in a conversation. His eyes widened and his body leaned a little back until his shaking hands held the sides of your face. He leaned down and put a quick kiss on your lips before pulling away, hiding his blushing face with his hands.

The Hillbilly - Max Thompson Jr.

Love and affections were concepts Max knew about but never truly experienced himself. The warmth of hugs and softness of kisses were foreign, something he never expected to get. But here you are, one of the few people who doesn’t judge him based on his looks and loves him for who he is.Or better, who he tried to suppress. He couldn’t afford being vulnerable with a world that was set on destroying him. Now, he gladly lets you connect your lips to his while holding you tightly to him, his back exposed to you with no worries.

The Nurse - Sally Smithson

Sally knew everything about love and relationships there is to know. And even though she still misses her husband dearly, there’s something about your lips moving in perfect sync with hers that feels so right yet so wrong. Your little crush on her slipped her so often but now, it was obvious. The way you’d look at her, the way you hesitated to drop pallets on her even when you were in serious trouble. And she gladly returns those feelings to you.

The Shape - Micheal Myers

Micheal Myers, the shape of Haddonfield. You’d think this big guy would push you constantly away and could never ever be able to love you? WRONG! err... sort of. You see, he truly and dearly loves you, there’s no doubt about that. But he has no clue or real desire to show it. You knowing how much he loves you is enough, right? Your first REAL kiss (not his mask) might take a little longer to happen. But once he knows how great it feels to kiss you, he can’t keep his lips away from you.

The Huntress - Anna

What? A kiss? Sure, kiss her quick and she’ll return with her duty. Anna isn’t as cuddly as you’d like, especially when a trail awaits or she needs to hunt. She wants to be able to provide for the both of you as best as she can but sometimes neglects all your emotional needs. Not on purpose though! Cause if you ask her for a kiss or a cuddle session, she’ll gladly do it.

The Spirit - Rin Yamaoka

At first, Rin is extremely shy about your relationship with her. Getting bullied by everybody certainly didn’t help her self-esteem and there really aren’t any therapists in the Entities realm. She’d always question how you could love her or even ask for affection from her but she’s not complaining. Asking her for a kiss might fluster her. But after a while? It’s like she’s a completely new person. She’s a lot more feisty and daring, the Yamaoka blood might be a part of it. You wouldn’t even ask for a kiss, she just gives you one whenever she feels like it.

The Legion - Frank Morrison

You know, boys gotta keep his reputation up of being the biggest shithead in the Entities realm. But if you ask for a little bit of affection or even kiss him yourself, he MELTS at the affection. Keep your hands on each side of his face while his rests on your hips and that’s it, that’s the perfect kiss for him. So don’t be shy, cause he’ll be shyer if you ask for a tiny kiss!

The Legion - Julie Kostenko

A kiss? Sure, you’ll get one. But not only that ;) Julie loves showering you with as much affection as possible but they have a tendency to get a little... dirty. Even as innocent as a kiss can get her turned on. But she wouldn’t do anything dirty as long as you don’t want. She kisses you randomly too out of trails and loves having you sit on her lap or be generally near her. 

The Legion - Joey

Despite his threatening posture and reputation, he’s nothing but a big softie. Just like Frank, he melts when you ask for affection or give him some love. Unlike Frank though, it’s more of a silent melt where he smiles warmly and pulls you close to him and kisses every inch of your face. 

The Plague - Adiris

No hesitation or big reaction, she’ll gladly kiss you if you ask for it though, it might be a bit weird to her since she’s still infected by the plague. She wouldn’t understand why you’d want her to kiss you and gets worried you might get sick too. But once her god (aka. the Entity) tells her you’ll be fine, she’ll kiss you everywhere she likes with no shame. 

The Ghostface - Danny Johnson

This motherfucker just steals kisses from you left and right, there’s almost no need to ask for one cause he can always tell when you want one. He even kisses you in moments in which you didn’t realize he was there! He loves hiding in bushes and scaring you to death but makes up for it with a few kisses.

The Oni - Kazan Yamaoka

Despite Kazan’s threatening posture and height, he’s all for cuddles and kisses. You want a kiss? Got get ‘em! The issue is how tall Kazan is. He loves to see you pout in frustration trying to kiss him on the lips and might occasionally tease you for it. But even the cuddle-bug Kazan can’t resist for too long and will bend down for you.

The Deathslinger - Caleb Quinn

Caleb is a little fucking tease. He WILL refuse kisses and cuddles just to annoy you. He loves seeing your face heat up and your adorable pout but unlike the Oni, he doesn’t give easily up with his teasing. Despite him adoring you to death and thinking you’re the most adorable person on this planet, he’s a committed man and has enough self-control to drive you insane.

The Executioner - Pyramid Head

This man doesn’t even seem to have lips, he doesn’t understand want you mean with wanting kisses? He’ll actually feel bad for a split second and wishes he was a little more human, to be the perfect and normal partner for you. So if you really want kisses from him then I’m sorry, he’s still trying his best with being a lovely boyfriend though. Be sure to kiss him though, he loves it.

The Trickster - Ji-Woon Hak

Prepare yourself to be told, that of course want a kiss from the one and only Ji-Woon Hak! His face is carved by angels and his lips kiss as soft as the rays of the morning sun, according to him at least. Once he stops talking about himself (or you interrupt him with a kiss yourself) his cocky act drops immediately and he starts gushing about how adorable you are and how happy he is to be with you.

If his Tamer wears outfits themed after him, he's going to secretly adore it and bask in the slight ego boost he gets from the feeling. There truly is something about seeing his Tamer wearing something that is inspired from his own outfit and self that just makes him feel that much more connected to them.

Bonus points if they add onto it a few references to his other Digivolutions in some way. He will make a few comments about it, but otherwise he's quietly basking in the glow of their "matching" outfits. Lucemon just thinks it's far too adorable~

Apollomon

Apollomon will be incredibly flattered if his Tamer went about making an outfit that was themed after him, even multiple outfits if they were so inclined. He'd like to hear their thought process on how they went about it, and what brought up the idea to create an outfit themed after him.

He always gets excited to see what they have in mind for their next outfit! He loves matching with his Tamer, or well... them matching with him, it's a great idea! And Apollomon thinks it shows their bond even more as Digimon and Tamer!

Zephyrmon

Zephyrmon is secretly flattered over it, but her impish nature makes her embarrass her Tamer by asking in such a voice as to how cute they are, trying to take after her in terms of clothing wear. She tugs on the scarf around their neck playfully and always makes wind rush by to make it and anything else that might be representing parts of her looks flutter.

She does love it, though, and is giddy that her Tamer even thought about doing something like that. She just can't help but be a bit playful, but it's clear she loves it to bits that her Tamer went about doing something like that... How cute!

Ayyyy I'm in that screenshot :'D Yep INPRNT is acting skeevy as hell right now. I am currently missing over 300 dollars (I tend to forget about INPRNT because my sales are extremly irregular, so I was shocked so much had accumulated) and I've been waiting for the transfer for over a month. After an annoying back and forth with support they now "returned" the money back to my INPRNT account and told me that "Paypal confirmed that the transfer can't be sent".

This is of course total bullshit.

I am using that account for all my freelance stuff regularly and received payment for something similar just the week prior, and there were zero issues. I have now re-issued the transfer and we'll see what happens, but this is getting into scam territory and I am pretty sure I will permanently close my shop after this whole issue is dealt with (hopefully).

The sales that pop up every other week stink, and the only conclusion I can come up with is that they are probably dealing with financial problems, and truth to be told, I wouldn't be surprised if the company and owner will be gone soon and all the money with them. It's kinda surreal how horrible they became within a year, because I really really liked their service and print quality in the past.

Don't really have any time to open my own shop where I'd have to deal with printing and shipping stuff, so this absolutely sucks, and I don't want to use Redbubble either. Gotta be on the lookout for better alternatives and hope people get their money I suppose. :/

BIG PSA: if you're an artist, I wouldn't recommend using @inprnt . If you already have, archive all your work until this is resolved. They aren't giving satisfactory responses (if any) or being clear why many of us aren’t receiving payments until MONTHS after their ETA for balance withdrawals, and only respond after numerous emails, if they ever do.

If you sell a print on @inprnt as of summer 2023, you'll have to wait 30 days until the money appears in your site balance, and then potentially up to 4 MONTHS for your withdrawal request to appear in your paypal account. As a reminder, the site's service terms still say withdrawal requests "should take" 3-10 business days.

Saving Zelda and all of Hyrule was important yea but thinking back maybe it was more like, the Ordonians and the kids were what was pushing Link to keep on going

I like the Resistance members :) Very video gamey of them to have one NPC assigned to each dungeon but hey!!! Kinda cool getting to see a little glimpse of each of em

Idk, it’s just fun to imagine Link popping into Telma’s bar after each dungeon and taking a little rest :) (or to celebrate? maybe just chat, idk, give this man some downtime!!)

Honestly it was just kind of nice that Link wasn’t entirely alone. I mean, I know Midna was there the whole time, but I am always for giving Link a big group of friends (see my love for hyrule warriors, age of calamity, and LU LMAO)

Hero’s shade, very very cool, kinda sad he died with regrets but HEY. He got to pass on his knowledge eventually

Ilia, I REALLY really wanted to like her (er, it’s not like I dislike her, she’s just,,, kinda there for me).

It definitely seems like Nintendo was pushing to make her the romantic interest, but GHHHHH they really threw that out of the window for me by having her lose her memories

I saw a text post a while ago that said it would have been interesting if Ilia was Link’s sister instead and YES!! That would have been cool too :0

Wish we got to know Zelda a little more

Idk man, like I said earlier, I never really had any sort of drive to save Zelda during my playthroughs

She obviously knows Midna, so maybe if they gave us just a little bit more of that relationship I’d be more interested in her?

TP WORLD BUILDINGGGG

Botw has good world building too, but each race felt kinda,,, isolated? I absolutely love the different architecture and vibe each town has (and all the the weapons too) but ghhh yea everyone felt so separated. As far as I can remember, we don’t see tooo much of the races interacting with each other? Now that I’m typing that out maybe that’s to be expected because of the calamity but KLSJDKJFD ANYWAYS THIS IS ABOUT TP

The world feels nice and alive, love how populated everything is

Castle town I like castle town a lot, it feels dense and busy and I really like how you can’t talk to every NPC you see

Very cool very fun that we got to see the Gorons hanging out in multiple spots

kinda wish we got to see the Zoras a little more (I guess they are a bit limited since they need water but GHHHH the tp zoras are so prebby,,)

BUT HEY, I do remember seeing a zora or two hanging out in the hot springs around death mountain after beating the lakebed temple (I think, might have been a different dungeon) 

but aaaa would have been nice to see them in at least a couple of other places. I think it would have really added to the “congrats Link!! You’re restoring peace to Hyrule” feeling you get from seeing the Gorons hanging out in Kakariko and Castle Town

Love how chill it is and how it’s kind of separate from Hyrule proper

They really do seem to be doing their own thing apart from the rest of Hyrule

Just kinda adds onto the “he’s just a regular dude minding his own business” kind of vibes I get from TP Link

Also I like Ordona :)

Do they worship you? Does anybody even know about the existence of the light spirits?? FUCK so many questions but ghhh I like how they broke the status quo a bit by throwing in a fourth spirit :)

I feel like this one is kinda weird but I like that voice sample they used in the light spirit music. It’s spooky and pretty at the same time :)

Because like, on one hand, they’re all separate from each other because of yknow, individual hero stuff. BUT ALSO, they’re all connected because of the reincarnation stuff

THE MUSIC??

Love Midna’s theme and how they referenced the dark world theme from ALttP (I remember trying to learn the dark world theme on the piano and doing the Leonardo DiCaprio point meme at the little jingle I recognized from Midna’s theme)

Hyrule field theme SLAPS.

Apparently references a couple of the other over-world themes from the previous zelda games (I got this from 8-bit Music theory’s video on the over-world zelda themes, he talks about TP at around 11:40 but def recommend watching the whole video if you’re into music analysis stuff)

So there’s this bit of the Hyrule Field theme, I don’t know the official name for it but I remember seeing somewhere it being called the “at an advantage theme” since yeah, you hear it during the boss music whenever you expose their weak points. FUCKINGGG LOVE THAT. Didn’t notice it during my first playthrough, but hearing it during my second was like a little easter egg for my ears every time :)

Midna’s lament is very pretty (and fun to play on the piano)

COURAGE THEME.

I didn’t care for it too much when I started playing the game but hearing it in ZREO’s arrangement of the Hyrule Field theme literally makes me turn into a puddle of emotions. Also hearing it around and of the Ordon kids (I think it plays after Link saves Colin) AAAAAAAAAAAAA

Orchestra piece #1 and #2 HOLY SHIT???????????????? 

Literally, the first time I listened to those I just,,,, plugged in my headphones, volume 100, layed on the floor/against my desk and silently vibed. I don’t know what the hell it is, but those two just fit so well with TP?? I still avoid listening to them nowadays cause if I DO I definitely will get overwhelmed with the “god I love this game so FUCKING MUCH” kind of feels.

the first time I heard him howling Zelda’s Lullaby I lost my shit because LKSJLDKSGLKJFSKG god that was.,, Bad. Anyways, hearing him howl some of the songs from OoT was cute :)

TP STAFF ROLL??? 

VERY GOOD. IT’s like 10 minutes long and GOD do I love every single second of it. It doesn’t have the same energy as the skyward sword staff roll or the orchestra pieces but GOD does it hit good??

Nice and calm after that big exciting adventure. Maybe it would have been more fun or emotional to have a higher energy piece but it was really nice getting to sit back and watch the camera fly around Hyrule. Seeing like, the Gorons and the Zoras having a good time, the kids returning to Ordon? GOOD SHIT.

and AAAAA that end, when you hear the main Zelda theme and see Link riding off out of Faron woods on Epona… good shit. It gets you thinking, where the hell is he going? What is he doing? Off ot do more adventuring? Going to help out the resistance or something? Going to help Zelda? Or maybe he’s trying to figure out a way to restore the mirror of twilight? Whoooo knows.

hhHHHHhhh it’s just that final reminder that YES!!! YOU JUST PLAYED A ZELDA GAME. JUST ANOTHER STORY APART OF THE WHOLE EPIC OF THE ZELDA SERIES AS A WHOLE

I also want to acknowledge the instrument/samples they used for all the twili stuff.

They’re all just so unique and contrast SO well with the rest of the TP OST. LIKE FUCK!! Anytime I hear the screech from the Twilit Kargarok? Sends a shiver down my spine. I associate those sounds SO strongly with the twili realm. (Like, the same way you associate the BSHEWW VVWWMMM sounds with light sabers)
