i'm begging you guys to start pirating shit from streaming platforms. there are so many websites where you can stream that shit for free, here's a quick HOW TO:

1) Search for: watch TITLE OF WORK free online

2) Scroll to the bottom of results. Click any of the "Complaint" links

3) You will be taken to a long list of links that were removed for copyright infringement. Use the 'find' function to search for the name of the show/movie you were originally searching for. You will get something like this (specifics removed because if you love an illegal streaming site you don't post its url on social media)

4) each of these links is to a website where you can stream shit for free. go to the individual websites and search for your show/movie. you might have to copy-paste a few before you find exactly what you're looking, but the whole process only takes a minute. the speed/quality is usually the same as on netflix/whatever, and they even have subtitles! (make sure to use an adblocker though, these sites are funded by annoying popups)

In conclusion, if you do this often enough you will start recognizing the most dependable websites, and you can just bookmark those instead. (note: this is completely separate from torrenting, which is also a beautiful thing but requires different software and a vpn)

you can also download the media in question (look for a "download" button built into the video window, or use a browser extension such as Video DownloadHelper.)

do you think they noticed a change, the first few loops. i think they did. because how could they not, cheng xiaoshi and qiao ling, the two closest friends lu guang has, seeing him walk out of the room through a camera shutter and re-enter changed. diminished, faded, sad, the worn and cracking face of an old photograph. more and more tired each time he dives, further and further back with each attempt. every time a failure. and even as he lets the tides of time weather him more - render him a ghost, it feels like sometimes - even as lu guang changes more and more from the person he used to be, so too does that moment of disconnect in his friends’ eyes shorten and fade. because they don’t know him anymore. the golden stretch of time he spends by their sides before it all goes wrong is sliced thinner and thinner with every photo he uses, his touch blurring the memory with blood. each time he fails they know him less - the first him, the one unburdened by the terrible knowledge he now holds and the weight of too many failures.

Because you would notice if your best friend time travelled from a horrible future, but not if he travelled back so far he erased the person he once was (the person you knew) (the person you loved, first. before you loved this newer-older transparent version, never knowing a difference.)

I hate it when people use the term "friend zone" to describe Charles' response to Edwin's confession because it's just ridiculous and I don't think those people really understand the emotional bonding between them. When you "friend-zone" someone it usually turns out to be a rejection of developing a typical romantic relationship because "we can't be lovers because i just want us to remain as friends" so it's indicated here that romantic and platonic partnership can't exist at the same time, and this kind of statement is most likely to be negative and hurtful towards other's feeling. But when it comes to Charles' response it is nothing but a rejection, he literally promised Edwin he would try to sort his feelings out for him and it actually brought Edwin so much comfort. It 's more like "I don't know if we can be real lovers yet but nothing is gonna change the fact that I love you as a best friend and you will always be the most important person to me". Anyway I'm really feeling like the equation of Charles' response with a friend-zone behavior is disrespectful for both the boys cause their bonding is much more layered and richer than than.

Also in case anyone isn't truly aware of the problem here, George and Jayden had both stated in an interview that they don't think Charles had friend-zoned Edwin in the confession scene and also Edwin wasn't hurt by Charles' response.

i saw a post the other day about why mary didnt tell neil the truth about the moriyamas and ive been thinking about it and i actually have a good answer for this but i cant find the post to reply to it LOL. anyway u have to remember that mary probably knew very little about riko OR tetsuji or how they wouldve treated neil if he had passed the test and joined the ravens as a kid. all she knew was that if he passes the test he gets to play the sport he loves and if he fails he dies. SO iii think that she didnt tell him because she assumed that he would think "of course im a good enough player to pass their test, lemme at em" and wouldve ran TO the moriyamas as soon as he could, and she didnt want to run that risk, especially as riko and kevin got older and became stars and from the outside had a perfect life. she couldntve told him "theyll kill u if u fail and also if u pass theyll make u wish u were dead" because i seriously doubt that she wouldve known that, so instead she kept it from him so he wouldnt even know there was a test to pass in the first place
