A: Well, in terms of height, the shortest is Toad and Percy is the second shortest engine and he's almost 5’8ft,and the tallest engine is Gordon, The flying scottsman, Spencer and Diesel 10.Their hight is 7’11ft because they're big and tender engines

A: Yes, it definitely has a benefit for the engines. Thanks to it, it can save them from becoming victims of scrap, or if something physically harms them in their human form, it comes and treats them because ordinary doctors cannot treat human engines

🌟some of my oc's transform into their true forms for many special reasons, for example demons, wolves, rabbits, etc., but the duration of this transformation is specific

this is a long one I’ve been dying to talk about. strap in

(entire series + movie spoilers btw in case that wasn’t obvious)

he’s on a permanent blacklist from her punk bar, she’s ordered her bodyguards/security team to escort him away (with force if necessary) on sight, and if she EVER runs into him it’d be with a gun in her hand. she knows his name, his previous occupation, his diagnosis, and where he lives, through Jesse.

she typically stays away from the crystal trade altogether though because of a deal she’d made with Gustavo to stay in their own trade’s lane at all times, but Walter is her exception. she’s heard from Jesse how Walter treats him and she despises it (even more so when she learns he was blackmailed into partnering with Walter and he doesn’t even get treated like a partner). she’s a lot like Gustavo in the way that she absolutely hates working around unpredictable people she has a hard time controlling, and Walter’s recklessness and overall idiocy when it comes to how the business works gets to her. she doesn’t feel like Jesse, nor any of Walter’s other associates, are safe in his presence. she’s highly supportive of Jesse’s little field trips with Mike & Gus because of this, as well as Jesse’s sobriety, because she believes a clear head means less leverage for Walter (and just because sobriety is a good thing for Jesse in general).

she likely wouldn’t meet him in the main story save for a couple passing glances (& probably a scene where he tries to show up at her bar to get Jesse & gets absolutely BODIED by her guards while she watches), or maybe a scene where Walter calls her just another ‘distraction’ for Jesse (which Jesse vehemently denies and says they’re ‘just friends’— which is only a partial lie), or hell maybe she tracks him down and kicks his ass for some reason when Gustavo dies. but she would absolutely NEVER work with him. ever. unless it came to saving Jesse (which could be interesting to explore at some point,,,,).

if Walter didn’t die the way he did in the finale, however, she 1000% would’ve murked him in El Camino on her & Jesse’s little revenge tour. probably in order to see if he’s got any leftover cash they can use for the vacuum guy, but that’s really just a thinly veiled excuse for her to finally kill him with her own hands. luckily that car gun of his got to him first.

but then again, where she draws the line, though, is family. she would never touch any of Walter’s family because that’s definitely against her own moral code, and would go as far as to provide for them financially in secret if she ever did actually kill off Walter. heavy on the punk rock morals— fuck the system, help those in need. especially those who have been kicked down and hurt before.

🌠 my first jjk fic! for the longest time, I kept hoping someone else would write something about this chapter because it was driving me absolutely crazy (he went. to africa. in person!! to ask for help. the Strongest asked for help. and then yuuta's "you're important to people who are important to me." and the way he was trying to comfort/reassure yuuji after the complete shitshow that was shibuya. it's all just sooo). eventually I wound up with enough free time and a well-rested brain to do it myself, and the rest (as they say) is history

perchance to dream rated T, completed, goyuu -> goyuu get in the habit of sleeping together (non-sexually). follows canon from the basement arc to gojo's unboxing

🌠 I am perpetually sleep-deprived, so I love writing fics that involve sleeping lol. iirc this particular fic was borne from me staring at hngr4fngr's art here for like, the 10th time within a two or three day period or something

[A Roto-Caster video starts with Casi and Amy relaxing in the living room. Casi is laying across Amy’s lap, both aimlessly scrolling through their phones. At one point Casi exhales through her nose, turning her phone and holding it up to her friend. “Hey check this one out.” 

We don’t see what the professor is being shown, we only hear their reply. “I’m pretty sure 52 children have shown me this Wooper.” 

Trying to pull the phone back, Casi fumbles the phone a bit, smacking herself in the chin. “Ack! Yeah well… Pretty sure I’m better than 52 children.” 

“Pretty sure?” They tease before their leg jerks underneath her. “Hey can you move a bit? My legs are falling asleep.” 

Casi replies with a short affirmative in Sinnohan that we don’t quite catch as he moves to instead cozy up against the brunette’s side. 

“Did you just call me sweetheart?”

She stares back at him, looking surprised, “I did. Should I not have?” 

“No,” Amy hums. “I kind of like it.” 

“Oh.”

A few beats of silence pass. The pair staring somewhat dumbfounded at one another before Casi finally decides to speak up again.

“I didn’t realize you knew what that word meant…” 

“Must have heard it somewhere.”

“Must have.” 

Fantastic conversationalists that they are the topic shifts with absolutely no provocation. 

“I saw that video of you with Slinky. How did you get him to move like that?” Amy asks, fidgeting with the phone in his hands. 

“Picked it up in Kanto? At least I think so…” She replies with a shrug.

“That’s not… possible. I came up with those and the only person who knew-” 

A distant thudding noise startles them both to attention. Oran turns to show Jaycé of all people lugging around an entire couch. They’re attempting to maneuver it towards the staircase. When they take notice of the Roto-Caster recording them they set the couch down and wave.

“Hiii. I’m invisible!” 

“Please don’t damage my floors by dragging around that damn thing.” Casi calls, getting to her feet and poking her head out into the hallway. “Can you let one of us help instead of doing this yourself?” 

“You’re five feet tall and Amy walks with a cane.” Jaycé retorts as the video ends.]

 › A wishing star? Given life and form? Ridiculous! If any god were to favor this lowly bunch it would be the Shadowbinder and such a.. pristine white dragon could never be a blessing from the shadowy mistress. And yet.. This little spiral draconid seems to know the wish, hope, and desire of every dragon in the clan. Whether she has spoken the truth and she is a wishing star given life or she's simply in tune to all the latest gossip no one is quite sure.. But for now, she keeps a tidy list of every single item that each draconid within the clan yearns for. Maybe, just maybe, she truly is a wishing star...

Baldur's Gate 3 Companion!Tav Ask List

1. Where can your Tav be recruited? Are they first encountered on the Nautiloid, or in the Nautiloid crash region? Or are they not recruitable until a later act?

fox:  recruited on the nautiloid,  being assailed by imps.  relieved when you help him,  though clearly still wary due to your shared condition as infected.  laments that any of you can turn on each other or become mind flayers at any moment,  but asks to join you.  if you say no,  he tries to argue.  he can be found again at the druid grove,  where he approaches and asks if you've seen sense and have changed your mind,  since he's clearly resourceful enough to have survived the crash (even though he's confident it's just luck).  will try to appeal to your companions if you refuse to recruit him a second time,  and eventually gives up.

vivi:  encountered in the druid grove.  she stops the player outside of where they can find kagha,  where you can find her not-politely cursing the de facto first druid's name for her behavior towards arabella.  tells you that if you save the child she'll reward her yourself.  after you visit nettie you can mention that you're going to look for halsin and she volunteers to join you temporarily.  she only volunteers to join the party permanently after you save halsin and the druid grove.

lex:  encountered just outside of blighted village.  nervously stops you and tells you about the goblin presence.  can be mentioned that he tried to find some shelter in the grove while he tries to get his bearings on the way to baldur's gate,  but that he was turned away as an outsider.  you can send him to your camp and after a long rest he asks to help you in return even though you already have a far better wizard in your party.  if you do not offer to send him to your camp outside of the blighted village,  he dejectedly leaves without a fuss.  if you do not accept his help after the long rest,  he asks if you would prefer he leave you,  and apologizes for causing any trouble.

sol'rys:  can be recruited in the crash region,  being attacked by intellect devourers.  he is still clearly suspicious of you if you help him and needs to be convinced to put away his longbow (and might initiate a fight if you're not successful),  though visibly shocked when it's obvious that neither of you are illithid thralls.  does not apologize for turning on you or almost turning on you.  immediately turns to business that you need a cure as soon as possible and it would be foolish to turn someone as useful as himself away.  if you refuse to recuit him,  he laughs and tells you that you won't survive without him,  and that he'll find a cure himself (insight:  he is terrified).

4. What sort of general actions raise or lower their approval?

5.  Are there any instances where your Tav can permanently leave the party,  depending on player character actions?

fox:  no.  he stays with you as a matter of survival.  fox will stick with someone he thinks is morally reprehensible if his survival depends on it.

vivi:  semi-related,  vivi would not join the party as a companion if you attack the grove.  for obvious reasons as a druid.  if you do recruit her and betray jaheira  +  everyone else at last light by handing isobel over to marcus,  she would rather take her chances by returning to the grove alone.  lets you know with disgust that she thought you were better than this,  and doesn't want to hear any explanation that you did it to stick to your cover as a true soul,  or that you didn't have a choice.

lex:  if your approval is low enough,  and this is essentially reserved for characters who lean into cruel choices,  he excuses himself when you get to baldur's gate,  after you take your first long rest when arriving in the city.  alexius does not make it clear that any single choice led to this,  he will not tell you.  you can encounter him in sorcerous sundries speaking to the librarian,  and an insight check reveals that he doesn't seem thrilled to see you despite how respectful he is.

sol'rys:  possibly.  if your approval is low enough and you take the astral-touched tadpole,  it's definitely the last straw for him.  taking illithid tadpoles without an attempt to convince him that it's fine (if you do it.  he cannot be convinced to take any.) is the quickest,  most reliable way to tank his approval of you.  taking more parasites,  trusting an illithid,  and indicating you want to become one is his limit.  expresses particular disappointment with you if he's romanced,  and leaves you  +  the party with no chance of reconciliation.  makes it extremely clear that he thinks you're a fool and that the illithid is playing you,  and  that he wants no part of it.

i just drew a silly little parallel between Catherine Moorland and Catherine Earnshaw in Wuthering Heights and how they both have such tragic stories, were about the same ages when they died, and both died following the birth of their children. now this might seem a little far-fetched, but i reckon that SSO naming Thomas' dead wife Catherine was purposeful and now i don't know what to think

You know... 🤔 While I imagine Sal is out scouting what is accessible of the world of Gaia (FFIX) for some... interesting answers to interesting things, I've come to realize a potential new headcanon about her. (Yes, a headcanon for an OC. Hahaha!)

She's curious, yes, but I think her knack for observing, listening and gathering intel could also be a remnant from the agent days.

There are things that she has allowed to gather dust, such as combat techniques (she does not like Fite, as some of us know,) but others she may have inadvertently gotten even better at over the years just because they were never retired - for multiple reasons. And gathering intel is one of those things.~

As for the reasons, again: curiosity. Plays well with how she operates. However, she does live with a particular level of scrutiny, thanks to the governmental powers that be - and even her own agency, now that I recall once more...

There's a part of me that's fairly certain that her agency still keeps tabs on her too. She no longer wishes to participate after everything that happened in the past, but... that stuff... is not the kind of stuff they just let you walk away from. If you ever see her withholding information the way that she does, one of the many reasons she does is because she never knows where not only the powers beyond her agency are, but the agency itself is. The irony of there being an agency whose goal was to help liberate the oppressed from higher powers of government, only to detain her all the same if she speaks a word of their existence or "says the wrong thing." Ahaha that's that double-edged sword logic that I do so love, yessss.~

I have so many little story thoughts run through my head all the time that I sometimes forget things...! In that respect, I forget she actually may not have the best feelings towards the agency itself nowadays... mostly because it feels like another source of entrapment. And she has never done well with cages...

(Though, to be fair and not make it sound like an absolute drag: I imagine she still has connections a.k.a "friends" in the agency, in this case as well. Some that may even be willing to exercise lenience when it comes to keeping tabs on her. Turn a blind eye here and there, if something "questionable" happens. There may even be those who are in her corner and help her stay off someone else's radar!

Lordy, I hate that I forget things sometimes - but it's always cool when I remember certain intricacies to stories and characters all over again! Hahaha!)
