I am of the opinion that Anakin would be the worst, most low effort camboy, but because he's hot he'd get a lot of traffic coming through. Much to the annoyance of his rivals on the platform.

And ofc Obi-Wan *does* have standards, but one day he's horny and tired and just wants to get off, so he finds Anakin's stream and finds himself deeply attracted to Anakin. But also deeply frustrated by Anakin's lack of technique and generally blase attitude. And this is compounded by Obi-Wan's annoyance at himself for being so turned on by Anakin's ineptitude.

Cue Obi-Wan finally paying Anakin to do things for him on camera, only it's Obi-Wan giving Anakin detailed instructions on how to improve his technique and elevate his self-pleasure time into something he enjoys again, rather than just as a means to get paid (because is there anything worse than getting off becoming a boring job done out necessity rather than fun???)

Ofc Anakin is pretty pissed at this random dude in his chat getting all bossy and weirdly technical, but he does try them out and finds himself having one of the best orgasms of his life. And not only that, but his viewership goes up and up every time he tries something new.

Sorry I can't remember if someone told you already, but webtoon is releasing Practical Guide To Evil, it's like 9 chapters in? It's been pretty fun going back the beginning of the story each week.

Have taken a quick glance at it! But, honestly the art style didn't really set a fire in my heart? And so much of the appeal of the story for me is Cat's internal monologue I'm not sure how much I'd get out of the adaptation.

I've heard that conspiracy thinking is more likely and prevalent in ppl who feel like they have little agency... and what I'm getting from that is when ppl feel overly controlled and helpless to do anything about it, they're more likely to think that "they are out to get me".

like... not in all cases but in some, the people who believe in wild unfounded conspiracy theories are misplacing WHO it is that is taking agency away from them. but the feeling that it causes is real and it has real causes. like for example this surveillance shit.

idk if im making sense but yeah surveillance is super creepy and apart from everything else that's wrong with it, it feels like one of those "low key" causes of chronic stress and trauma that's not one dramatic event one can point to but just the polluted water we're all forced to swim in

i try to avoid making predictions. but i will make one for 2025. i suspect the surveillance state goes into complete hyper drive starting next year. it's always been here, obviously. sometimes obfuscated poorly, sometimes not. but this definitely feels like things are evolving and not in a positive way.

i think it started with the campus protests. Luigi accelerated it to break-neck speed. and now, watching some of this New Years Eve coverage has me convinced that we're moving into an even more advanced, new state of normal regarding perpetual, heavy-handed state surveillance.
