Supernatural...what is it, now...12.19?
I am so pumped for this ep bcs Cas is finally back! and we only have another four hours of season left after tonight (two regular episodes and a Mega Smash-Hit Double-Feature Finale).
I still don’t know why his name is Delvin.  Or why Cas never answered Dean’s calls.
Suicide isn’t good, but thank you Spn writers for at least giving Kelly a bit of agency.  WHY DID THEY NOT WARN FOR TRIGGERS???
I like that the map table doubles as dry erase.  Isn’t it convenient that May 18 is the date of the finale??
CAS IS HOME!!!
Oh dear me.  Dean, you and Cas need to have a serious conversation.  ...  Like this one!
I am in total shock.  I cannot believe that happened.  Dean made Cas a mix tape and then they had a healthy conversation about how they were feeling and what was going on and what the next step was.  I love whoever wrote this.  I love them so much.
“What if we can track the nephilim?” Sam asks, the dimensional scope (@northern-sparrow) lurking in the background between them.
They’re solving problems using previous knowledge?  What is this witchcraft?  Who wrote this masterpiece?
Cas has his own bedroom.  XD
PLEASE tell me it’s gonna be Team Free Will and a baby in the bunker.  Pls.
CAS!  I am ashamed of you.  Answer your Chuck-damned phone, Cas.  I’ve done it, I’ve done all of it.  For them.
Cas is protecting Dean and Sam from becoming the worst versions of themselves.  From become the Hell-versions of themselves once more.
Cas can’t do it.  He loves humanity too much to kill anyone who isn’t proven dangerous.
Interesting to compare John Winchester and Lucifer in their roles as fathers.
“WWCD...what would Castiel do?”  He’d call Dean.
If anyone can change Cas’s mind, it’s a human with a belief in innate goodness.
“I’ve been through enough to know that everyone is just winging it.  ...some worse than others.”
“Who will care for him?  Strong enough to keep him from harm?  Strong enough to keep him on the righteous path?”  Ex-demon Dean freakin’ Winchester, his demon-blood-fed brother Sammy, and his half-fallen angel Castiel, of course.
“TWO MEN, AN ANGEL, AND THE SON OF LUCIFER” COMING THIS FALL TO THE CW.
I love it when the Winchesters all have plans together.  XD
I don’t know if Dean is more upset about Kelly stealing his baby or his Baby.
Cas is all like “I’m not a role model.  Seriously.  I literally have eight seasons showing why I should not take care of a powerful child.  Please.  Not me.  Pick Dean; he’s brilliant at this kind of thing.”
Dean understands his boyfriend like he understands cars.  He’s just not great at showing it.
Didn’t Joshua used to be cool and black?  Why is he now cool and white and dead?
What is it with Dagon and destroying the things we love?
Dean has to watch his husband lose control to something bigger and more incomprehensible in order to destroy a difficult big bad.  Again.  Oh Dean.  Oh Cas.
“Cas?”  Is that you?  “It’s me.”  I’m okay, Dean.
It’s a weird scene.  They’re all kind of walking on eggshells, tiptoeing gingerly around the conversation.
Something is definitely up with Cas.  He doesn’t just put Dean, Dean, to sleep and walk away quietly.  That’s not Cas.
What’s up with the future?  Is it season 13?  Is that the problem?
Cas just left his best friend and his boyfriend lying there in the middle of a playground.  Heaven’s going to come looking for Joshua and Kelly and find the Winchester brothers snoozing on their doorstep.  I imagine that’ll go well.
I don’t know why Cas and Kelly couldn’t spend the next month in the bunker with the Winchesters.  It’s not like they’re arguing about whether Kelly should live or die anymore.  It’s just a debate about whether the kid’s powers should be removed.  But that can really happen at anytime.  Assuming he doesn’t die, it can also be reversed at any point.  I don’t know what’s up with them, really.
Interesting to note that the “we’re in trouble and I don’t know what to do, but I thought I’d call you” calls are now to Mary, whereas before they were always to Cas.
In short, Dean is trying to talk about his feelings with his husband, but Cas is too busy hanging out with his friends from work to meet him halfway.
