      feeling the suffocating, overwhelming pressures of med school was something jiali anticipated even before she started this perilous journey, but if she had to be really honest with herself, it's been taking a toll on her for a while now. reading through today's lesson, she looked down at the readings that she had printed out for the day, brows furrowing. in conclusion, she had no idea what any of the texts in front of her meant. looking around, she spots cyrus who was sitting beside her in class, using the time before the scary-looking professor comes to strike up a conversation with her classmate, " hey, " she taps him on the shoulder, " did you do some reviewing last night ? " looking up at him, a frown then forms on her face. " i wasn't able to review. . . am i royally screwed for this class ? be honest with me. "

Snow's broad frame leaned against the frost-kissed metal railing, gazing out across the expanse of Cocoon's crystalline landscape. His breath misted in the chill air, and turning his head slightly, he saw a familiar pink-headed ( and miserable looking ) woman. 

Maybe his comment was a little uncalled for... but she knows he can make it up, right?

"Lightning! Wait up!" His hand was outstretched now. "We need to talk."

this is a poster i made for my call to action assignment in humanities! it's a bunch of basic and easy stretches for people who sit and work at a desk all day (me)

the idea is that you'd put the poster up above ur desk and do the stretches every 30 minutes or so,, the whole routine won't take more than about 6 minutes to complete and when done regularly it can prevent wrist, shoulder, neck and back pain! :)

all these stretches can be done while sitting (although i HIGHLY recommend you stand up and move around while taking a break from working)

him saying he is more of a dog person (his family owns a dog) but if he were to buy a pet now it'd be a cat because he wouldn't feel bad about leaving it alone

his team telling him time and time again to just catch a private car to the Williams factory - him insisting on catching a public bus instead (saying he can get a good view from the top deck)

his team having to buy an extra suitcase for all the gifts he received after the last weekend in brazil

on that note - him not feeling the best that weekend (for many, obvious reasons) but feeling so touched by all the fans that came out for him that he went out to greet them anyways

him being shocked at alex's 14 hour screen time saying he only has about 2hr 50 minutes 😭

his bereals

actually just the whole segment of him making alex mate and explaining things about it so proudly

his strategy in Austin being his own idea - and then joking that if he doesn't get a seat he can just become a strategist

his curls

him taking that interview on the bike - and also blabbing about the expensive merch prices, telling people to just buy fakes or else they'll end up eating rice for months

him on that talk show wearing pants that still had the security tag on them 😭😭 (and then explaining that he put them on cuz they were nice and they beeped when he left the store, but the employees told him just to go anyways)

Um so I've been sitting on this ask for months cause I didn't want to bother you with how many messages you must get. And because it's difficult for me to be open about my experiences, but I'm working on that part thanks to you! ✧⁠◝⁠(⁠⁰⁠▿⁠⁰⁠)⁠◜⁠✧

For the first time in my 32 years of life I'm starting to open up to my friends and family. When I'm tearing myself down or having a panic attack about how I think I'm failing the people around me, now I say "This is something Siffrin would do, and you'd give them grace, so give yourself grace..." I can't overstate how much your writing has changed my life for the better.

AND I KNOW THIS IS CRINGE but I've been seeking out a last name for myself for many many years, cause I hate having my estranged father's name. And I never found a name that felt right, until now. So I hope it's ok with you that I'm working on changing it to "Frin" as a reminder to keep giving myself grace. 👉🏻👈🏻
