While we're waiting for the next yingdu episode, might as well keep myself occupied with something else happening with shiguang rn and that's the upcoming idv crossover. For the niche subset of ppl on tumblr who watch shiguang and also play idv, this one's for you, enjoy!

In the original crossover trailer for cheng xiaoshi and lu guang as the wu chang hunters, it implied that the pair dove into a photograph from the manor to do an investigation.

I thought that was a really neat idea and am now contemplating making a mini episode themed around this adventure. Knowing me, I'll probably just end up turning it into a joke, but idv is a really good setting for drama so we'll see what I come up with...

#Yk at the beginning I was their relationship through a romantic lense but now I'm starting to think they more resemble a found family #Specifically Johnny becoming a paternal figure to V #Maybe it's my aro ass that views all love and caring gestures as platonic #but the “not more important than you” felt like something a father would say to his daughter #the line “is there anything as undoing as a daughter” fitting Johnny bc he only seemed to put a real effort into changing once he got V #Someone he is proud of. Protective of. How willing Johnny is to hand V all of his belongings like a father passing his hobbies #Telling V to put his Jacket replica on. To get in his car and “I'll even let you drive it” thing #The way V arranges his date with Rogue and Johnny is like “okay kid now run along dad's gotta get busy”#Honestly the whole samurai kerry mission felt like your older dad introducing you to his friends back from band days #And this new view on him just makes things extra awkward bc I've already written a smut piece on him and V back in early game lmao #but yeah he really feels like a father figure to V. After what happened with Sasha #she still lied to her. became another person to betray Anne #then she fucking died for her 😭😭😭#on the other hand. you have anne #she looked after her. she certainly loved her. but she didn't care much about the things that were important to marcy #nor did she care about her feelings or needs. she and sasha third-wheeled her for years #even though marcy came first #she could only really see her once sasha was gone #you have to remove her from the equation for both of them to flourish and connect #because the shadow of sasha's abuse oppressed them for so long. anne and marcy reuniting in S2 looked a lot like two people escaping #abuse together. healing together. coming into their own. becoming better people. they get to know themselves and each other much more deeply #now that they're free. only - they aren't free. they're constantly thinking about sasha. when sasha comes back they welcome her #they reproduced the toxic patterns she left of them #though i'll recognize that in anne's case she healed a lot more from sasha's toxicity than marcy #and you can see that in how her way of relation to marcy is a lot healthier than marcy's way of relating to anne #anne is now truly and genuinely connecting to her friend. marcy is still lying to her #pushing down her feelings. ignoring her own needs. pretending everything is okay. lying lying lying #anne was the only one who could escape but marcy couldn't quite move on yet. she couldn't be free #hope this makes sense i'm writing it at 4am i'll delete tomorrow if i realize it sounds dumb

Corroded Coffin seemed to be popular, things were getting better for them, they still had to do part time job because of that 'what if?' but things were going well. Definitely.

In an interview they asked about a song, the meaning. And the shit man Eddie Munson is, he answered with a grin on his face "That's about Stevie, as most of them".

And the fans went crazy, trying to find someone with that name in the Corroded Coffin set or working at some usual bar they played at.

"They is a history teacher" Eddie Munson told the world in another interview "and we are married" he showed the camera a ring he had next to his guitar pick on his neck, he had the biggest smirk on his face.

Then Corroded Coffin were guests of a fundraising gala, they were asked to play at it to attract more people. It was a fancy gala tho, everyone was in their bests dresses and all.

"This one's for my beautiful angel there, who looks as gorgeous as always" And Eddie winked at a special balcony of the vip guests.

Most of the public saw Eddie laughing softly, but they didn't know why. In that balcony a lovely brunette in a marion blue dress gave the guitarist and second voice of Corroded Coffin the middle finger as he had a stupid lovely gaze on their face while she blushed a little.

"Yeah love ya too sweetie" Eddie chuckled before starting with the show.

Later at the gala people saw Eddie Munson next to the tall brunette in that marion dress.

"So are you Eddie's girlfriend?" An interviewer asked, he looked at Stevie with those eyes Eddie didn't like.

But Eddie laughed as he waited for Steve's answer, that was going to be good as hell, they had the bitchy face on.

"Not a girl" Steve smirked "And definitely not his girlfriend, nor boyfriend, nor partner" She looked down at the man, who seemed so little compared to them "He's my husband"

"I am" Eddie smiled so stupidly in love as he looked up at Stevie, who usually wasn't that tall but with the black heels they was wearing today the difference was more than usual.

"Uh— Yeah" The interviewer looked at different places to get outta there

"You got any problem with that sir?"

"N-no it's perfectly fine ma'am— I mean sir— I mean—"

Steve snorted "Come on darling, let's go somewhere else without this kind of people"

And where Stevie went Eddie followed

The amount of edits with the song 'walk em like a dog' after that gala were more than years the Earth has.

"Teddy, look, another one" Steve chuckled as she showed Eddie his phone.

"Stop with that, you menace" Eddie laid down on the couch, next to his significant other, trying to take their phone away playfully.

"Erica is going to bully you so bad" Stevie giggled.

"And Red too" Eddie sighed "Jesus Christ, Stevie I am like that always?"

"It's cute"

"I hate you" Eddie muttered as Steve put on the baseball match of today.

"Love you too sunshine" She smiled softly as they started playing with Eddie's hair.
