⚔ — WELL, that certainly hadn't been something that Felix was expecting to hear come from the mouth of the woman clad in all pink, of whom was sitting upon his bed, hands busy at work with whatever it was she was messing with — Felix never was one to understand little handcrafts like sewing and knitting. Though her question makes him sit silently for a few moments, body not even so much as shifting from his place upon the floor — he even stopped fiddling with the sword he was currently cleaning, leaving it to somewhat fall haphazardly against the floor — a bead of sweat forming upon his face as he silently chewed the inside of his cheek.

⚔ — "W... What are you asking me that for?" His voice comes forth rather shaky, WHICH WAS ACTUALLY A VERY RARE THING TO EARN FROM FELIX CONSIDERING HIS NORMALLY SARCASTIC TONE. It was almost like he was trying to avoid the question all together, but he knew doing something like that wasn't possibly, especially since it was Kiwa who asked him to begin with. "...They're okay in my book." He pauses for a another moment before continuing to speak, "Better than the girls that I always have to end up protecting anyway." He knew that wasn't what Kiwa meant, but there was simply no way he could answer something like that with a straight face. His dignity was on the line after all.

How would the ROs feel seeing that?

(and just so Cam doesn't get jealous of another photographer took this photo - let's say the photo was taken by a mutual friend of MC and Cam, who is also a photographer, is happily dating/engaged/married AND is totally doing this to tease both MC and Cam 🤣)

❤️Cam - He was just doom scrolling when he saw the photo, it took him less than a minute to recognize MC. Dressed up like that. They look hot and he is definitely pouting. Pouting and screenshotting the image for future...inspiration? Yeah, yeah inspiration. He needs to do a new shoot anyways. He will try and beat around the bush about it, why MC took the photo, why they didn't tell him. Then he will just say that as your bestie, you owe him a shoot. That is totally how this works. He needs to be allowed to capture you in the same way...this isn't for selfish reasons. He will get flustered, looking at the photo again. MC captured in a different way, its thrilling to him. When MC gives him a questioning glance Cam will stutter pretend he has something to do. That friend who took the photos is going to get a very rude wake up call, because Cam wants all of them. Very gimme gimme gimme.

💙 G - They get strangled on their tea, smacking themselves on the chest to try and catch their breath. G was just looking at the recent clothing line coming up, knowing they needed to get something nice to wear to see their parents. What they didn't expect was to see MC, clothes hugging their body, the look in their eyes made G's skin heat. Had they seen it before? Those eyes looked so alluring and yet, G can't remember if this is the first time they've seen it or not. G will be annoyed that they enjoy how MC looks, that it does more than make them think about MC. A thought they will try to knock out of their head as soon as it pops in. They will bury the emotions as deep as possible, after they look at the photo a few more times. No matter how much they hate to admit it, they always thought MC was attractive. With a bitter taste in their mouth there is one thought in G's mind, I wasn't the only one who thought so.

💚 Kara - Too cute! She's screen shotting, sending MC a text. "Why don't you ever take cute photos with me?" She was serious in her question, though she ensured to send a few emojis to come off as playful. Granted Kara's online presence is high, these photos she would keep to herself. Just like she did with the memories of when she would spend time with MC when they worked together. There's nothing wrong with thinking your sibling's ex-fiancé is attractive, sweet, funny. Especially when they're your friend. There's no underlying meaning as to why Kara makes the photo her background...none at all.

💛 M - They had seen the photo when scrolling, just something to break up the time between when they waited for their editor to reply back. M had tossed their phone behind them, and hopefully somewhere that they could find later. Their face bloomed with a blush, one they covered under their palms, face pressed so hard against the desk that it would likely leave a mark. They might have squealed appreciatively at the photo...maybe...possibly. To them it almost seemed impossible to be MC, they never looked like that before. Maybe that's why their so flustered, because they looked different. Should they ask MC about it? Damn it....why are you so....in a maid costume though? Alright...time to find their phone.

💜 Isaac - They try to ignore that feeling in their chest, the one that is telling them they like what they see, they want to see more, want to be around MC more. In fact they go so far as to close out the page and try and push the image from their thoughts. Which is easier said than done. MC looks good, great even. So good that it's leaving Isaac feeling like they should have saved that damn photo. That worries them, this feeling of wanting to hold on to them, even just a fraction. They'll make a flirty remark later on when they see MC, because that's what they do, a nice little cover. Flirt and feign ignorance. Ignorance of what they feel for MC, of the potential there.

🖤 Ardent - Damn, color him impressed. In fact color him more than impressed. Who knew the person he sees fighting to keep their eyes open, dressed in pjs, hair all messed up when its time for rent could look like this. Well....to be honest Ardent thought MC looked good like that too, but he will deny it. He thinks MC looks hot, too hot. Unfair really considering he doesn't get to see MC all dressed up. Ardent would be a bit annoyed, because why does the people who get to photograph MC get to witness how good they look and not him. That picture is coming with him, across the hall where he will annoyingly knock on the door until MC answers, and he will make a quip about if you're making such good money modeling he will want more rent. (just to get under mc's skin) "Ya know what, I need a decoy date. Mom's coming in down. Call it a favor? Or..I'll even let you skip out on next months rent."

I've been thinkin bout that bt scene. Obviously I might be totally wrong but idk, I feel like T kinda muttered "god I hope so" into his wine glass & not directly at Buck & he was being maybe kinda insecure, like in his head maybe since we assume he's older & more experienced he might think that's why Buck is sticking around?

Like idk, it's a call back somehow to the first date and the closet comment? Like T wants this to work out because he thinks Buck is adorable but you know they aren't really clicking so ya know whatever works? (But eventually it will fully break down)

And the way Buck said "but you think I do?" about the daddy issues is like Buck goin "....wait what?" in his head because his head does tilt a bit to the side like 🤔🤔🤔 And it's showing that they don't fit.

That it was intentionally weird & off putting.

Tho I do think the bit where T says "but your father is alive" wasn't meant to be snarky. Buck then says "Exactly" which I took as Buck being all "exactly, my dad's just THAT shitty and he's not going to change."

Off course then the speech Buck gave Chris is a bit eh, but like two things can be true at the same time. XD

Also I'm def not a bt shipper, Buddie all the way but yeah that's just how it came off to me. Lol.

For the your dad is alive I think I wasn’t super clear on my opinion on it but like I don’t mean he said it to be snarky per say more so that the implications behind that line are things like “you’d feel differently if he wasn’t” or “you can fix things before he does” or as if that’s something to be thankful for or recognise when talking about his pseudo father nearly dying

Like the reason I hate this line isn’t that it necessarily has to be cruel intentions on Tommys part but rather that this sorta narrative gets forced down traumatised peoples throats CONSTANTLY (sometimes with good intentions) and it’s such a bullshit rhetoric and it’s even more bullshit to use that line while talking about this found family/pseudo father he has nearly dying

Also yeah that’s definitely what that “exactly” was meant to be like yup a dead dad would at least be less traumatising, a lot easier to explain, and probably easier on my therapist than this clusterfuck but alas

BUCKS SPEECH TO CHRIS- okay lots of thoughts on this because my mom got confused and picked thought daughter:

Do I love that the writers low-key made it sound like he’s comparing Eddie to the Buckley parents? no I hate it but KR was writing for this ep so what did we expect

Do I think a marginally better way to interpret it is that it was more so continuing that theme of paralleling buck and Chris’ issues? Yes

Are the basic and I mean like the very abstract very simple and nothing further parallels there? Yeah like parent not over their grief causes conflict between parent and child

Other than that no not at all Eddie never involved Chris in this, Kim came over with her Shannon cosplay without telling him, Eddie also never intentionally emotionally harmed Chris while the Buckley parents spent bucks entire life intentionally being the absolute worst™️ and emotionally neglectful and were shit parents to Maddie too by forcing her to pretend her brother didn’t exist while she was a child and mourning said brother

But I also think it’s actually very in character for buck to continue to sympathise with them and cut them an impossible amount of slack by trying to draw parallels to this situation like it’s less trying to paint Eddie more like them and more so using Eddie (someone he cares about and loves and sympathises with deeply) as a frame of reference to mentally try to humanise and sympathise with his own parents - idk if I’m making sense but in my head it makes sense

Like it’s actually a pretty common thing you see with traumatised people they’ll sorta draw parallels that aren’t there between themselves or the people they care about and the people who traumatised them because a lot of traumatised people will just constantly seek to understand that perspective more and sympathise with it like hell I’ve seen it with the people in my life doing it and it’s like woah those situations are very different I need you to recognise that

Ask game for Chase?

The pupper ever!! Also two other people asked for Chase while I was already working on it XD I'm sorry it's taking me literally days to get them all done, I'm having trouble to think properly on what to say for some stuff in these

My first impression - I'm not tanking this. His car is blue and white, he's a cop and HIS NAME IS CHASE. HMMMM WHERE HAVE I SEEN THIS BEFORE, OH I WONDER--

My impression now - He's precious. No, really. A+ for effort in everything he does but he should learn to relax a little more, just a liiiiiiiittle more

Favorite thing about that character - He's always willing to try new things out of his comfort zone and he always gives it his best, plus his loyalty levels are off the charts

Least favorite thing - He's too much of a people pleaser Istg-- Chase, sweetheart, you're supposed to be a figure of authority XD And this will sound like a dumb thing to dislike but I dislike the fact he's a German Shepherd. I think it's too obvious a breed for police dogs and he doesn't LOOK like one at all for me. When I first saw him without his gear, I was like "Wait is he a Belgian Malinois??? Omg please yes that would be cool to not have a German Shepherd as a Police Dog for ONCE" but yeah my dreams were crushed quickly on my first Google Search on him

Favorite line/scene - It's not specifically the line, but mostly the scene: Have you EVER seen Chase refuse a job or go against Ryder???

I know he ended up changing his mind after that talk with Ryder, but IN THIS MOMENT, he stood his ground and said NO. It's even in his body language: His ears are slightly back, his expression is serious like "don't even try arguing with me on this", his tail isn't relaxed, his paw stomping on the floor to make his point. Notice his frown even deepens as the elevator door closes just before it goes down. This is SO IMPORTANT to me you have no idea, especially considering how much of a people pleaser Chase is and how he holds Ryder as the most important person in his life. We know Chase would do anything for Ryder. But at this exact moment? He was decided to NOT do something for Ryder. This is such a powerful, yet overlooked and underrated scene, as well as character development. It encapsulates perfectly how there's so much more to Chase than any of us knew so far.

Favorite interaction that character has with another - Mighty Movie Skase moment #2 (I think? I counted at least 4 big moments) when Chase goes to check on Skye when she was sulking on the back of the Aircraft Carrier. Her problems there are totally out of his league, he literally cannot relate to anything she's currently going or went through in the past- still he tries to show support the only way he can at the moment, by being there for her, by listening to her. He's a keeper, Skye, go for it XD

A character that I wish that character would interact with more - Marshall and Zuma. They used to play a lot before, but now...? I'm still at the 8th season and I'm seriously missing those fun and slice of life moments

Another character from another fandom that reminds me of that character - Leonardo, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, specifically 2012 series

A headcanon about that character - I think Chase was one of those kind of puppies who just didn't know when to fucking STOP. 24/7 playful baby. Also a natural explorer, always sniffing everything, licking everything, maybe biting, touching, scratching, growling, barking at anything new for a while. Ever curious, always being the puppy to go ahead of the others, "exploring the waters to open the way and make sure it's safe for the others to come after him". On a second note, I've seen one too many people returning adopted puppies for this reason here where I live, because "they're a handful and I wasn't expecting this" 🤦🏽‍♀️

to start with, your looks could deceive most people. some would assume that you're just a cute, regular girl roaming down the streets, when in fact, you weren't.

Okay, two-part finale to Agatha All Along, let's go.

Okay, going to put up three "HAHAHAHA CALLED IT" flags.

The reason Billy needed the Witch's Road to find Tommy is because Tommy wasn't anywhere to be found. Billy's reincarnation was a freak occurrence; Tommy just died.

Billy is in some way associated with the Witch's Road, like its steward or guide or keeper or something. One way or another, he's actually managing this trip.

Boy it sure is weird that the coven is entirely populated by witches that Billy personally knows about.

Very satisfied with how those went. Okay, on to stuff I didn't anticipate.

Nicholas wrote the fucking song. The entire thing. This entire thing. The whole journey through the Witches' Road. It was actually Billy All Along. But the concept of the Road? That was Agatha All Along. Well fucking played.

I was worried when Death was described as a witch that we were going to get a classic MCU "Okay but not REALLY gods/magic/stuff" switcheroo. But nope. Rio really is Death with a capital D. That made me happy.

For the final boss fight, I was ready for "Agatha and Billy defeat Rio somehow." When Billy kept hitting Rio with invisible attacks to presumably save on budget, I honestly thought he'd gone and fetched Tommy before making his dramatic return, and that Tommy was super-speed punching her.

I was also ready for "Agatha sacrifices herself for Billy."

I was not ready for "Agatha comes back as a ghost just to spite Rio, after we specifically made a point of talking about how much Rio hates ghosts." XD Goddammit, Agatha. Her lovers-to-flirty-enemies dynamic with Death continues, I suppose!

Jen survived! Good for her. Totally expected her to die too.

The last time Agatha walked the road, only one other person in her coven survived. It's clear now that she meant Nicky, since it was her and Nicky's personal song. So the Road only left two survivors last time. Ironically, Billy's road also left only two survivors: Billy and Jen.

(( Oh, btw, we got past 150 followers recently... That's a milestone I was totally NOT expecting when I first started this blog! I was checking the Paw Patrol tags regularly on Tumblr by then and they seemed so quiet, aside from the Daily Marshalls and some occasional random post or fanart, it seemed this fandom was pretty much inactive. I wasn't expecting this blog to become such a hit and attract so many people!

The Story of Pearl Girl (ep. 18)

An episode we've all been absolutely not waiting for, but here we are. It was as gut-wrenching and hit-you-in-the-face-punching as I expected it to be, but it still hurt. Like yeah, I know it's a cdrama and this type of not-really-plot-twist was inevitable, but you can never not hope for something different.

The plot is surprisingly consistent. Having almost lost Duan Wu to the bandits, Yan Zijing makes the only sane decision a man could make in this situation. No, not ditch the whole vengeance thing, that would have been too perfect and totally out of his character.

Although, I do hope he gets his epiphany at some point and decides there are better things to do in life than that. But he decides to leave Duan Wu behind using the good 'ol drug-your-drink stunt. Alas, it was too late, and the bad guys came to meet him, instead of waiting for him patiently in their bandit's den.

It seems that someone in the higher circles of power is in cahoots with the baddies - the army that was supposed to help YZJ in his mission got stopped last minute and the 2ML had to venture into the wild leading just a group of General's guards, who may or may not have been plenty. What a coincidence, huh?

The bandits infiltrated Yan Zijin's convoy (somehow, we don't know the details, our boy obviously didn't do a good enough screening procedure while hiring his people). Either this or they'd been following him around for years in his convoy - in that case, I have questions for the Big Bad Boss. Long-distance relationships rarely work out (but in this case, from his point of view, they kinda sorta did). YZJ did end up coming back to the desert and it didn't end well for him.

I'm not revealing too many spoilers, but it's a sad-sad episode, so you should brace yourselves for a heart-aching evening if you're planning to watch it now.

In terms of visuals, it's still stunning and the fighting sequences are all quite believable.

Duan Wu got kidnapped for a moment there, but the whole thing wasn't too dramatic. I don't know if it was supposed to be like that but it felt more like a means to the end - something that would make YZJ decide to leave her behind.

I can't really blame the guy. She's a fighter, but not an exceptional one. And his mission turned out to be deadlier than everyone thought.

YZJ is a mix of gentleness toward his girl and revenge finally being served (at least partly). Liu Yuning fits this character remarkably well. Going from soft to stabby in a matter of seconds.

Of course, she doesn't know ALL the bad news. The Big Bad Boss is vicious enough not to kill YZJ directly, but to take away all hope of him getting better (because POISON, yes, good old, good old).

The show finally remembered it is, indeed, dark and gritty, and the memories of cute fluff were devoured by smoke and fire.

We also got a glimpse into Kang Ju and Yan Zijing's past when they were running away from the bandits - the boys had it rough. And they're having it rough once again.

On a brighter note, Zhang Jinran looks a tad bit funny in this armor XD That's probably the only positive thing that can be said about this episode. Oh, and kudos to him for leaving Duanwu's girlie friend behind. That desert is too deadly for pretty ladies.

What inspired you to start writing FNAF fanfiction? I love the franchise, but I don't think I'd ever be able to write anything about it, especially anything with multiple chapters.

So, it's a funny story!

I was coming off of writing a LOT of 9 fics. I was writing a long series and taking requests, and... singlehandedly burning myself out. BUT I was starting to get really into Fnaf at that time.

It was like right after Fnaf 4/Fnaf World and I had the itch to write something. So, I took a couple of whacks at ideas for it- none of which worked. Then I finally settled on a one chaptered one shot idea and managed to get it done and posted.

And a lot of people really liked it! It was surprising, because at the time I wasn't getting that much feedback for the 9 stuff. Not that I didn't appreciate the readers I did have, but I didn't expect such a lively response! I had mulled over continuing, so I decided to continue on for about twelve chapters... And then just kept going. XD

I think the thing that helped with writing it was at a point- towards the end of Can't Go Home Again, lol- I just decided to stop trying to do something canon adjacent-ish and just went off on doing it totally AU. Because now anytime Fnaf introduces an element or a character, I don't have to worry about matching canon. I can just do whatever works for the story. Which is pretty freeing!

...But yeah, I will say that I probably have a few screws loose, lol. XD I've always loved writing. As long as I love something enough, I can write about it!

Note- But if we're going on what directly inspired me to write the fic. I was going through a grieving process at the time and something between that and the assumed 'end' of Fnaf led me to it.

Project Kinetic is my most favorite lore bit from Arc One~ King really convinced the guy to test out this dangerous serum he attempted to make, in the hopes of it turning out to be a successful enhancer. And then Kinetic literally melted into goop- XD

The very specific motives King has for wanting an enhancement serum will be revealed in time. And yes, King has powers, hence his wanting the serum. Purple doesn't, but he maybe possibly might have something of a techy machinery flying upgrade~?

i love how he punches holes through his newspapers with his hook. so uncalled for. you could totally just balance the pages between the curve and point but no, he has zero chill, he's gonna fuck up this newspaper so no one else can read it afterwards.

12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?

i think he has a special interest/connection with animals. a lot of animals feature in baroque works, especially his lovely bananawanis. animals are easy to trust and difficult to hold grudges against, so maybe their presence gives him some peace of mind? he seems to have no issues disposing of his human agents if they fail him, but i like to think he's more forgiving with animals.

18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire?

i'm a sucker for a devoted second-hand, (cough cough vergo) so i'm gonna go ahead and say daz bones and crocodile. i love how daz seems to be the exception to his cruel-streak. they're both there for each other and it's warms my heart. also gonna rec this fic real quick because the daz & croc relationship is so good...

oh. this is tough. in general i enjoy crocodile's ability to deadpan his way through a comedic situation? especially since he's frequently in the company of rosinante when i write him XD so yeah i enjoy making him very serious or slightly annoyed when there's some sort of ridiculous situation. something i don't like is how i never quite feel like i have a grasp on his character 😵 croc i need a backstory for you so badly... it's killing me...

so many things. i think for now, i'll say my favorite thing is how he seems to love sitting incorrectly. in warlord meetings, he's always got his ass perched on the back part of the chair, and his feet are in the seat. provided he isn't sitting on the table!! he likes to sit on those too. also people. loves to sit on people. think he used king riku as a footstool at one point.

22. If you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to ths character? Something you don't like?

i'm actually really picky about how doflamingo is written. i don't read much about him unless i'm familiar with the writer. i'm not a huge fan of the manic-pixie-girl coked-up-to-the-moon mingo (although i do think that's a funny style at times) also not a fan of the stories where he's just used as The Big Bad to make someone (law) suffer for the sake of whump. i love fics where he's got some crackhead energy, but not TOO much, yknow. he's quite intelligent and very diligent with his schemes, so a lot of the more comedic/brutal takes on his character make his intelligence less believable.

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

OH i love this question. my first impression was the warlord meeting i think? i was fascinated. loved his character design (rip black V neck shirt. why couldn't he wear that for dressrosa. the white open shirt was Not doing him any favors) i thought he was just gonna be some Quirky crazy bastard, and he is! but when i saw dressrosa, specifically the backstory at spider miles, my brain opened up. his backstory, the brother trauma, how he spent his early life... it wasn't what i was expecting and i found him much more compelling with all that depth. that's probably why i tend to write him like more of a sleazy business man, spider miles mingo stuck in my brain XD

When stray kids finally landed in Japan, went through security and the tons of fans waiting outside the airport for them, after they managed to all get in the car and get to the hotel, the boys were all understandably tired. Ready to get their rooms.

They all stood around together in the hotel lobby as a staff member came up and began explaining the room arrangements: Han, Chan and Seungmin, Felix and I.N, and... Changbin, Hyunjin and Lee know.

Hyunjin groaned in annoyance as Lee know and changbin cheered and danced around him. "Seriously? I'm with THEM?"

Lee know flicked his ear playfully. "Why are you saying it like it isn't the best thing in te world?"

Changbin came around on his other side, patting his head and cooing. "Is Hyunjinnie too shy to admit he's happy about sharing a room with his two favorite Hyungs?"

Hyunjin blushed and scoffed as all the other members just laughed and brushed it off.

Everyone eventually got their key cards and went right up to their rooms. As soon as Lee know unlocked the door, Hyunjin went right in and claimed a bed by throwing himself on it face first.

What he wasn't expecting, was for Changbin to come and jump right on top of him. "Woah- hehey! Get off!"

Changbin cooed and nuzzled his nose into Hyunjin's neck. "Why? You love this, and you love me!"

Hyunjin whined, and then groaned once again when Lee know came and layed down next to him too. "I'm going to sleep right here, with Jinnie~"

Hyunjin rolled his eyes and pushed out from under changbin ending up on the floor. "You guysss... you have to stop being all lovey dovey with me!"

Lee know and changbin grinned at each other, then at hyunjin. "Why? You love this!"

"What? No I don't!"

"Oh yeah? Then how come you're smiling like an idiot right now?" Changbin questioned and reached out to pat Hyunjin's cheek, crying out dramatically when hyun slapped his hand away gently.

"I don't like it!" Hyunjin insisted and sat down on a different bed.

Changbin and Lee know exchanged looks, then both slowly moved towards hyunjin. "Yes you do. You love it, and you will admit it unless you want us to help you admit it."

Hyunjin tilted his head in confusion. "What do you mean?"

"You'll see. So do you admit it?" Lee know asked.

Hyunjin huffed and went back to his annoyed role. "No! Why would I even admit something that's not true!"

Changbin grinned and pounced on Hyunjin, laying him down on the bed. "I was kind of hoping you'd say that."

Lee know nodded in agreement and moved to sit on Hyunjin's lower stomach as changbin sat behind his head, holding his arms above his head with only one hand. Lee know then wasted no time digging into Hyunjin's tummy.

Hyunjin screamed in surprise, twisting and turning. "WHAT? NOHOHO HAHAHAHA!"

Changbin and Lee know laughed along with him. "This is what you get for lying~"

"WHEHEN DID I EVEHER LIE?!" Hyunjin laughed crazily.

"You said you didn't like it when we give you attention and love you!" Changbin said and shook his head in disapproval.

"I DIDNT LIHIHIE!" Hyunjin insisted as he flopped about like a fish out of water.

"Mhm, sure you didn't." Changbin giggled.

"Hold him tighter, we're going to make him admit the truth." Lee know said, waiting for Changbin to hold Hyunjin's wrists even tighter before he shook his head into the younger boy's tummy.

Hyunjin screamed, tears flooding out of his eyes. "NOHOHOHO!!!"

"you know how to make it stop~" Lee know teased.

"Just admit it and we'll stop!~" Changbin

Hyunjin tried his best, he really did. But when Changbin started helping Lee know by gently tickling the ferrets neck, hyunjin could not take it anymore.

"OKAHAHAY! I ADMIT IHIHIT!"

"Admit what?" Lee know acted clueless.

"I-I LIKE YOUHUR ATTENTION!" Hyunjin's face flushed as the words came out of his mouth.

"We knew it~" changbin giggled and let Hyunjin's arms go immediately, Lee know also bringing his head and hands away from the boy as well.

"Whatever..." hyunjin mumbled.

Lee know chuckled. "Don't be embarrassed! It's adorable."

Hyunjin blushed some more."yeah, yeah... can i go to sleep now?"

Changbin pat his back. "You go for it."

The older boys watched Hyunjin getting under the blankets of one of the beds, following him and getting under the blanket with him in that teeny tiny bed.

Hyunjin groaned, then thought about it and relaxed again. "Fine... only this once..."

All three boys fell asleep with a smile. All three also woke up with a smile, but that was because of a bit more ticklish reason

I spent so long perfecting this idea so I apologize if it took a while XD I’ve actually had this fic concept stewing in my brain for almost a year now, and I’m so happy that I could finally put it to paper! Chris is just such a sweet guy and I adore writing for him! I know there’s a bit of a fic drought for all you Pontius fans so I hope this quenches your thirst for content! ;)

Whenever you had a day off, you would always end up at the beach. While you were never too partial towards it, you lived in California, so it would be impossible not to eventually end up there. Sitting in the warm sand with your I Pod, you’d look out at the foamy tide as it washed over the sand before retreating back into the water. It was calming, in a way, but after a few minutes the ocean bored you, so your attention drifted elsewhere. That’s how it all started, with watching the surfers that skimmed the aqua blue horizon line.

And you saw him, his board held under one arm as he walked up onto the beach, tan muscles glistening with the salty dew of the pacific. It was like staring at a Greek god, the way water dripped from his long hair down his toned back. He must’ve caught you staring (but who wouldn’t) because he shot a glance over at you, giving you this cute, kinda dorky smile, “Hey!” Looking up at this captivating stranger like he was the only thing in the world, the only words you could muster in response were a shaky, “Hey.”

“So, y’like surfing?” He sat down next to you and, not wanting to sound like a total loser who just sat on the beach on their days off, you told him about half the truth, “Not really, nah…I’m not super into it, but I've always been kinda interested.” It was like he glowed gold, like he was made out of the sand he was sitting in, not at all discouraged by your shyness, “Ah, that’s cool! I could totally teach you sometime. I’m here all the time cause’ I live pretty close by.” You turned in the direction he gestured with his thumb- up a sand dune towards…the parking lot? You didn’t question it.

And you ended up talking for a while. Hours, actually, until the beach went cold as the sun began to turn amber and sink below the horizon. You learned a lot about him- his name was Chris, he was vegetarian, and when he wasn’t surfing he was working at the Lary Flynt building downtown on some skateboarding magazine. Maybe you’d pick an issue up, you thought. There was just something that attracted you to him, someone you found so endearing, so cute about him, and of course that fact that he had a body like that didn't hurt either. Feeling the wind chill, you rubbed your hands on your arms in an attempt to warm up. Chris noticed this, “Hey, if you’re cold, we could always head back to my place?” It was like he read your mind. Blushing a little, you nodded, “Uh, yeah! Sure!” You hoped that he wasn't one of those charming serial killers you hear about on the news- it’s not everyday that you go back to someone’s house you just meet on the beach. And after talking to him for about two hours, he did seem earnest enough, so you agreed.

You didn’t expect his house to have a rear view mirror. Or a transponder key. Usually, most people would see living out of a van as maybe a red flag, but you just couldn’t say no to that face as he popped the back open, looking over his shoulder at you with that goofy smile, “Come on in!”

And so you fucked. Regularly, after a while. Well not like clockwork, but there was sort of a routine- every time you had a day off work, you’d head down to the beach, and he was always there, all sandy and sun kissed waiting for you. Then the two of you would head up to his van, the Shaggin’ Wagon as you affectionately dubbed it, and he’d already have the seats laid back. And when you were done, Chris would drive on over to the McDonald’s and buy you breakfast like a gentleman.

You could feel the heat radiating off of the dark, late day asphalt as you dangled your bare feet out the open side door, Chris’ shirt lazily slumping off of your shoulders. Climbing back and taking a seat beside you, he passed you the warm white paper bag that you fished around in, grabbing your Sausage McMuffin. Peeling away the wrapper, you took a huge bite out of one end and brushed the semolina flour off of your shorts.

See, that’s the thing you really loved about him- Chris was the most chill person you had ever met. Hell, he’s a vegetarian and you were eating a sausage McMuffin next to him, and he was completely unbothered! He sorta had a ‘It’s cool, you do you’ attitude about everything. With Chris, nothing really mattered. But what started out as casual sex eventually turned into some sort of pseudo-relationship. Screwing and breakfast turned into actual meals together, dessert included.

You didn’t know what time it was when you sat together in a booth at Denny’s, but it was late enough that you were the only people in the restaurant, so probably in the early AMs. Staring down at your plate, you noticed that you had barely touched your Dennyburger, anxiety cloying in your throat, before you finally spoke up, “I, uh…” stopping to clear your throat, you continued, a little apprehensive for how he may react, “I don’t think this is gonna work out. I-I mean, I guess I just want something more serious, and…I don’t really see this getting serious.”

But he wasn’t upset. Chris just looked at you like he understood everything without you having to say another word. He smiled a little at you as he sat back in the shiny red leather booth, “It’s alright. I get it!” You hadn’t had a single boyfriend be so accepting of you breaking up with them before, but you weren’t going to say that. “But,” Leaning a bit forward, one elbow on the sticky tabletop, he added with a wink, “If you ever wanna meet up again, you know where to find me, okay?”

It would be a couple years before Chris would cross your mind again. You’d gotten a better job and finished school, but you’d also had a few lonely nights. Well, maybe more than a few. The sky was that rich, saffron color as you shifted your car into park, stepping out onto the pavement and looking down at the beach with baited breath, nervous for what may wait for you below the dunes. As your step shifted uncomfortably over the sand, it felt like everything was all the same as the last time you and Chris were there, like every grain of sand was frozen in time, waiting for you.

And there he was, standing behind the counter of the surf shack, waxing a board. Shirtless as ever, his hair was tied back, a little longer since you last saw him, concentrating so hard that he didn’t even notice you until you walked closer, leaning over him enough to cast a shadow. Chris’ eyes caught yours and you felt a wave of emotions wash over you at the little glimmer you saw in them when you made eye contact. It took a second for you to get the words out, but they eventually squirmed their way out of your throat, “Hey.” You watched his face soften a little as the eye contact settled in, “Hey!”

Leaning back a little, he paused, a warm smile spreading across his face as he held himself up against the back counter, quirking a playful eyebrow, “So…y’like surfing?” God, it was like you were falling in love all over again. Your heart throbbed in your chest and you swallowed a little before speaking up, “No…but I might wanna give it a try.”
