Fairy Tail: Laxus Dreyar —Aesthetic

Laxus Dreyar's Character & Personality

Laxus Dreyar is an S-Class Mage of the Fairy Tail Guild. He's the grandson of Fairy Tail's Guild Master and the son of Raven Tail's Master. Laxus is arrogant, overbearing, selfish and prone to make fun of his own comrades. He believes he's the strongest member of Fairy Tail and looks down on those he considered weak. Thus, Laxus heavily reprimands their weakness and resolves to hurt them whenever they step in his path. He cares little about his fellow guildmates, usually suggesting they have to give him something in order to acquire his help. Not even Laxus' trusted Thunder God Tribe is spared of this treatment. The only things he truly cares about is the strength and reputation of Fairy Tail, as he becomes enraged every time someone makes fun of it. In battle, Laxus enters a berserker-like state where he's incredibly ruthless and doesn't care about how many die for his goals. However, after his excommunication his attitude changed. Laxus is far more light-hearted, serene and has grown fond of the guild. Even before his excommunication, he inherited his grandfather's magical prowess and his heart in caring for comrades. As a Lightning Dragon Slayer, Laxus suffers from motion sickness, but he's extremely ashamed to admit it.

“Lightning...you call yourself of House Farron, a knight and defender of the land.  I have no armor to replace that which you lost at the terror of Kalameet the Black.  But for the blade that you sank into his eye, I can offer you back something of aid.”

Yeul signalled, and the Caius approached from around her side, holding forth a sword.  It was simple, without any of the engravings or runes typical to the blades of nobility, but Lightning had never seen the likes of such a sword before.

It was a straight, single-edged blade, with a thick and unmarked red material running all the way down the blunted edge, through the small and nearly non-existent guard, and across the whole of the hilt and grip.  But it was the cutting edge of the blade that drew Lightning’s attention.  It was a polished and dark black, like a cut of volcanic obsidian instead of gleaming silver.

As Lightning hesitantly accepted, Yeul continued. “This is Blazefire, and though she does not show it, she is far older than either you or I.  She fell into my care many long years ago, before I left from the tutelage of sorcery, and though I know not who first held her, I know that she was created to honor the old ways, in defense of the land, and I believe that her place now is in your hand.”

Lightning picked up the blade fully, ignoring how all eyes were on her.  It was longer than her old knight’s sword, and a bit heavier, too.

Her eyes widened, and she shifted her grip, disbelieving at what she was feeling.  As she held the sword, the weight lessened, shrinking until it was a comfortable weight, though the blade remained the same to under her gaze.

A/n: Hello, I'm doing pretty good. How are you? Anyways thank you for request I hope you enjoy these and as always remember to hydrate or diedrate.

Sting:

He's not normally the Jealous type so I feel it would take a lot for him to really get jealous

for this we'll say you've been spending a lot more time around Rogue

At first he just thinks you're getting closer with Rogue because He's his best friend and he's happy about it

But then the two of you start being secretive, nothing big just hushed conversations and going quiet when he enters the room

He can't help but think something is going on, after all what if you changed your mind and fell for the shadow dragon over him

So thinking his friend won his s/o, Sting would start to grow distant

He'd eat meals in his office or skip them all together, not go on jobs with You and Rogue as much claiming he had guild master work to do (even though we all know he never actually does it)

Sting would also get easily irritated, snapping at guild members for little things and ignoring anyone who tries to ask if he's okay

Once finally notice and try to talk to him, he's on guard after all how can he trust you when you've been spending more time around Rogue instead of with him

You'll most likely have to slap him once to get him to actually listen but don't worry he does eventually listen

He'll apologize repeatedly for thinking anything was happening between you and Rogue, especially once you tell him you were hang out with Rogue to help Frosch become a little more independent

Sting will also be a little more clingy for a little while after

Always having a hand in yours or on your waist or shoulder, he just wants to reassure him self that you really are still with him and aren't going to leave him

Laxus:

This wall of a man is 100% the silent/protective jealous type

He wouldn't get jealous super easy but there is one person who can cause this man to get jealous over nothing

That person is none other than the Pink haired Dragon slayer, Natsu

Laxus knows that you're friends with the fire dragon, but something about the way he can always make you laugh really grates at the Lightning dragon

His jealousy starts out as glares across the guild hall, if looks could kill the pinkette would be dead 100 times over by now

He just sits silently and watches telling himself and the rest of the Thunder legion (who already figured out he was jealous) that he is just making sure you're okay

After a while of just glaring and neither of you noticing his stare, Laxus will get up and walk over to you

He'll stay quiet except for a slight grumble as he sits down next to you, wrapping his arm around your shoulder

The blonde would just sit there, chest puffed up a bit trying to silently show who you belong too

But once he feels you relax into him, he softens

He may not say it but feeling you lean further into his side, while you talk with your friend helps calm him down

Laxus still shoots a glare at his fellow dragon slayer but it's more out of the fact that Natsu gets on his nerves than anything else at this point

He'll still wait for the perfect moment to pull you away from the conversation with Natsu so he can fully relax but having you next to him reassures him that you wouldn't trade him for anyone else

Natsu's veins look like actual lava. Most times its very faint and you can't see it but when he gets mad they glow

His blood is so hot that it burns through things. He got a nose bleed once and melted a table

If he uses dragon force too often, his skin starts to blister and peel like super bad burns.

He also has a ton of burn scars. He didn't build up a tolerance to heat overnight and almost all of his body has rough, painful looking scars (little Natsu was always wrapped in bandages)

Gajeel's dead skin is straight iron and can give people tiny cuts. He wears a ton of lotion because any bit of roughness can hurt the people close to him

This is also the case for cuts on his body. The edges of the wounds sharpen and make it almost impossible to get stitches or bandages. He's also injured several doctors

His eyes and skin end up yellowing with age because of the extreme amount of iron in his body

His skin is either insanely cold or hot. If he gets too hot his skin turns bright red and sizzles. Too cold and he can actually freeze over (also yes, he rusts especially around his fingers and toes)

If Wendy uses her Dragon Force too much, she starts sprouting little feather nubs in her normal form. She has to pull them out with tweezers. It's very painful

Overtime her face and hands develop muscle spasms and tremors. She has a hard time controlling her expressions and gets to the point where she can't even hold items because her hands shake so violently

When she uses too much magic, her skin starts to turn blue from lack of oxygen. She has passed out from it before but it's very rare. The blue is almost every time and her lips are now constantly blue

Her finger nails are black/brown from the lack of oxygen in her blood. Overtime her finger tips turn the same color, but the nails start soon after her first dragon force (she hid it by painting her nails but had to tell others once her actual fingers started to turn)

Laxus' veins are also insane. They mostly look crazy like lighting bolts across his entire body. Drawing blood from him is a nightmare. Especially because his veins are incredibly thin too

He also has a shit ton of burn scars. More so on his hands and arms but also the inside of his mouth is incredibly scarred because of use of his magic

His entire back is covered in those lightning bolt scars too. They are not super visible but if you get up close it's insane

Erik's blood is straight acid. Just a papercut is enough to seriously injure someone. It's so strong that he can't even be operated on.

His skin is super thin. Like if you shine a strong flashlight on him, you can see all his veins and stuff

Because Sting's entire body makes light, he has like an insane amount of sun damage. His skin is very rough, cracked, and often has random burn spots scattered around his body

Rogue straight up feels like a dead body. When he was a kid, he looked like one too. Too skinny, bones popping out, super pale, and cold. As he got older he learned how to bulk up, but his magic still takes it's toll on his body

His pupils are always super big. Like you can barely see his eye color because his pupils are massive. Because of this, his eyes look absolutely massive

the dragon slayers are all more likely to sink than swim

having reinforced everything so they can do dragon slaying magic makes all of them kinda heavy, and for the 2nd & 3rd gens, their lacrimas do add a bit of weight to them

its all good, though, because they can probably just propel themselves up whenever they wanna, since itd take like ten minutes for them to need to breathe. gajeel and either sting or rogue, depends on how bright the water is, can last for longer than ten minutes. wendy can filter the air out of the water if she focuses hard enough, but shed probably just make a pocket of air.

natsu's fire can withstand being submerged if he adds more magic to it. erik cant even get water in his ears--theres an odd film that covers them when it gets moist, like rain or even high humidity.

laxus. shouldnt use magic in the water. its hard to control, so unless everyone needs to get knocked out, itd be better for him to just walk/swim around and punch people. he still doesnt get wet, though, and thats when juvia starts thinking that maybe. just maybe. hes a bit more than a lightning dragon slayer

I've always wondered why Natsu doesn't carry around a lighter. Like I understand that the little flame isn't going to be enough but its not like he's against arson or not going to cause a shit ton of fire damage anyway. Or like why don't one of his team mates carry one around? I get that if he's in like a cave or something there's not much to light on fire and it might not be the fastest process but still?? It seems like something that would be good to have in an emergency??

I mean like for the seven dragon slayers there's different levels of how available their elements are to just consume in the middle of a fight. There are the ones that are pretty much ever-present like Air and Shadow, so Wendy and Rogue seem like they might be better off since ya know it's much more likely for their element to naturally be there and to have none available seems like they're in kind of extreme circumstances. Then there's Lightning, Metal, Poison, and White which aren't exactly guaranteed to be in all places. Making Laxus, Gajeel, Cobra, and Sting's ability to refuel more circumstantial and up to chance. Natsu is kind of between those two types though as Fire is not ever-present but it's not that hard to make fire. Also Fire spreads, if it can there's going to be more, making it even more unlike the other Circumstantial ones which are generally limited in quantity.

All this to say, he should just carry around a regular ass lighter.

Once again, you were knocked off your feet and onto the ground. The lightning dragon slayer stood over you with a smirk.

“You seem distracted today. What’s wrong?” He offered his hand. You glared at it, but still took it as he easily pulled you to your feet.

“It’s nothing.” You weren’t going to tell him you were on your period and having god-awful cramps, because then, he wouldn’t want to train with you anymore. It bothered you, feeling weak compared to him, especially during times like this.

He only sighed. “Let’s take a break.”

“I’m fine, Laxus-”

“Who said the break was for you?” he interrupted.

You scoffed. “You need a break? Yeah, right.”

He rolled his eyes, sitting down against a nearby tree.

You sat beside him. He offered you some water and you gladly took it.

“So, are you gonna tell me or what?”

You sighed. “I’m. Fine.”

“And I have neon pink hair.”

You glared at him once more before smirking. “It’d suit you.”

He scoffed.

After a moment of silence passed, you stood up. “C’mon.” You grabbed his hand to pull him up, but he wouldn’t budge.

Realization hit his features as irritation built up. “Why didn’t you tell me?”

“Because I knew you wouldn’t train with me if you knew,” you sighed.

“And why does that matter?” His voice was stern.

“Because, Laxus, I want to be strong.” You were growing as impatient with him as he was with you.

“What?”

“I don’t want to hold you back during jobs. I want you to think I’m strong.” You frowned, feeling tears sting at your eyes. Those damned hormones…

“You are strong. But strength also comes from knowing when to stop.” He took your chin between his finger and thumb and tilted your head to look at him.

You blushed. “You’re just saying that.”
