It's been a while since I read Raffles' Ides of March short story, and I not a day has gone by on which I haven't thought of this image:

It's so homoerotically suggestive. Raffles is literally on his knees, head and forearms bare. Bunny is standing so close behind him, leaving over to Raffles like he's either going to whisper in his ear or kiss his neck, and a bottle of oil is literally in his hand. It's so damn easy to come up with captions for this art. I'm offering you a few:

"Bunny, I didn't bring the oil for THAT porpose!"

"You don't need to go on creating holes, Raffles, I have already a perfect one for you to use"

The telegram is before me as I write. It would appear to have been handed in at Vere Street at eight o’clock in the morning of May 11, 1897, and received before half-past at Holloway B.O. And in that drab region it duly found me, unwashen but at work before the day grew hot and my attic insupportable.

A telegram sent from Vere Street, eh, Hornung? If that name doesn't ring a bell for you, Vere Street was the infamous location of a rare, early, widly reported on police raid in 1810. The raid targeted the White Swan, an established so called 'molly house' (a social meeting place/bar/brothel, definitions are vague, for queer folk). 27 men were arrested, 8 of which were tried and convicted, 2 were eventually even hanged. Rumours tell of marriage ceremonies, performed by John Church, having taken place at a chapel in this molly house. We actually have remaining textual evidence of the name Vere Street being used as an euphemism for homosexuality in a 'he's from Vere Street, if you know what I mean' way. Hornung's being very unsubtle here

Well, I misread the prompt on the last one actually, lol. Hopefully this is more in line with what was imagined. The scene setting for this one was pretty fun, I wanted to do a blue and yellow background based off the covers I saw for Arsene Lupin and doing this crash and jump out the balcony was extremely satisfying to pull off.

I am making 365 new versions of Mickey Mouse for the public domain and releasing them under public domain all year long.

This is from the medieval/fantasy-esque AU that I'm doing with @thatoneandlonelyemo2005. Most of it is concentrated on Bumswiftery at first, but also this is set in the same universe, we're just talking about what everyone would do in a world with magic and Kings and kingdoms :)

It will also go into a fake marriage AU for Sprace due to plot and cultural reasons I am making up but who cares if we get fake marriage turning into real feelings.

Gentlemen thieves/ top hat classy thieves are characters that I love really much so of course I created one myself !

I don't have a precise background for him yet, something along the lines of "retrieving lost family heirlooms and seeking revenge"

His family mysteriously disappeared in a fire when he was a child, and he got adopted by an older noblewoman under a new identity. Now working as a police officer alongside his shenanigans, he tries to find by who and why did his family perish in that fire at their home many years ago. He commits heists under the name of "Le Lièvre" (The Hare) Has a pet bunny he calls his little "Arsène Lapin"
