The sudden appearance of the tall man causes Lawrence to yelp and drop the cards, scattering them on the floor again.

"DAMN IT-" "I-I mean, yes! I have a good knowledge of cards and their multiple games."

Sam looks amused at the shorter boy. "It's both a cute nickname and a truth. I deal both objects and sweets." She pulls a lollipop out her bag "Interested?"

The sudden appearance of The Showman almost made Lawrence kick him again out of instinct. He softly melted under the other's warm touch.
