Thoughts on Rosalina

Aesthetically? 1000/10. I'm a huge fan of any and all space stuff.

Otherwise? I don't have a ton of thoughts. I've never really gotten invested in the "sage" archetype, and though her backstory and her responsibilities in the universe intrigue me, I'm far more interested in what she does than the character herself.

I do like that she plays guitar though. I need more details on that.

A quick mother's day image for tomorrow. ✨

While I have not really draw it (shown the actual colored concept to like ONE person lol), Violetta does have a luma form since she's actually a luma of sorts. She just prefers to be in her human form around others most the time, as Rosalina made her to appear nearly in her image so she could have a child who was like her at her side. (This is why I giggle when people say Violetta looks like Rosalina, as that's the purpose of Violetta's human appearance).

She just has boo styled hair as apposed to Rosalina's shooting star (comet?) hair as Violetta was originally meant to be drawn as just a character I wanted to put with King Boo. But the more I styled her, the more I could hear a voice telling me she just looked like Rosalina to an extent, so the character formed more a backstory from there. ✨ And I couldn't be happier, as I love both characters a lot.

Rosalina is best mom, and I am glad my OC could have her as a mom fr. ✨ Happy Mother's Day!

Hi! There are people who have already played Rosalina's mother (or her family), there are also fans who say that theory that Peach is Rosalina's mother, I even like that theory, but let's say you make an oc where it would be her mother (?)

Well maybe you like it (or not) so enjoy reading:

As we only have a few images in the Mario galaxy game of Rosalina's mother, but we have some information:

> She looks similar to Peach (everyone knows that obviously) with blonde hair (?) and her smile too. > Her dress is the same color as Rosalina's, perhaps it is a little older than her daughter. > She died and Rosalina was very close to her mother.

Well, with this information it looked like this in my AU:

She was common, but I used different eyes than the ones I use in Gacha Life because I wanted, for me she would be like the moon but in human form (mixed with Peach JDKDHD) and her husband (Rosalina's father) would be like the sun.

(Plus I have a headcanon of Rosalina's father too! He would be more or less like Luigi (since the theory says that the green plumber is her father) but with blonde hair to look like Rosalina and that he would wear green in his clothes)

Also in my AU, Rosalina's parents were guardians of the galaxy (just like her daughter) and they were parents of the lumas, but as the queen was pregnant with Rosalina, they had to return to earth, as they were still human, obviously, so Rosalina was born in MK.

Maybe after five or six years, because Rosalina's brother had been born (when I wrote this post I discovered that Rosalina had a brother), then that Super Mario Galaxy story happened, with that Rosalina's mother dies, so Rosalina became the next guardian of the galaxy, just like her parents.

I like to think that Rosalina's mother was also a writer in addition to being a guardian, she told several stories about the stars to her children, this perhaps led Rosalina to have a library because this way she remembers her mother and all the moments they had.

And also a spoiler for my Walsalina fankid, Rosalina and Waluigi had a daughter, just like Rosalina's mother had Rosalina, and when Rosalina sees her daughter for the first time she cries a lot because the child was similar to her mother (because every time she talks about her mother, Rosalina gets depressed or cries) but Waluigi calms her down.

Chapter 4: The Dream

One night, the girl dreamed about her own mother.

"Where are you going?" She asked her mother's retreating back.

Without turning, her mother replied, "Don't fret, dearest. I'm not going anywhere. I'm always watching over you, like the sun in the day and the moon in the night."

A wave of sadness washed over the girl.

"What about when it rains, and I can't see the sun or the moon?"

Her mother thought for a moment before responding.

"I will turn into a star in the clouds and wait for your tears to dry."

When she awoke, the girl's face was damp with tears.

"You have Star Bits in your eyes!" said Luma to the girl.

Wiping her face, the girl replied, "These are tears, not Star Bits. I'm crying because I'll never see my mother ever again!"

At this, Luma began to cry too. "Mama, oh, Mama... Waaaah!"

The pair traveled through the starry skies, and though they encountered many other comets, not one of them held Luma's mother.

Luma was despondent.

"Now, now, Luma. The rain clouds won't go away if you keep crying," the girl said, giving Luma a squeeze. "I'll give you a present if you stop."

The girl closed her eyes and said gently, "I'll take care of you."

With these words, she felt a small spark in her heart.

holy shoot it took me nearly 3 hours to make this! three whole hours, just to make the galaxy princess look beautiful!

When Rosalina returned, she paused to watch the adorable scene before her, lingering for a while in silence before fully approaching the dinosaur. She lightly scratched under his chin affectionately as she watched the Lumas return to their rightful place at her side. "You did a good job, Yoshi. I'll trust you with them when I need to from now on."

For Rosalina to trust him with her dear star children was the highest of honours. The Lumas were bunched around him as he sung to them softly. He almost didn't notice the ethereal mother's return.

( "Oh, is it already time for them to go home?" )

Rosalina yawns, drifting off unknowingly, but after a moment, is jolted awake by the plumber's words. "Huh? Oh. Ah, perhaps you may be correct in that statement, after all. But I didn't want to cut our night short." She frowns. "Our time together is precious and fleeting, remember? I'm sorry. I didn't realize how tired I was."

Chapter 6: Friends

Then one day, while the girl sat sipping tea, a tiny apricot-colored planet appeared on the horizon.

From the planet, another Luma of the same color emerged.

"Do you two know each other?!" the girl asked the two Lumas gleefully. Despite the girl's excitement, they seemed uneasy.

The two Lumas neither drew closer nor backed away from each other. Instead, they just stared.

Then one Luma broke the silence.

"My mama!"

At once, the apricot Luma parroted back, "My mama! My mama!"

"My mama!" "My mama!"

The two Lumas began to dance around the girl frantically, and neither showed any sign of stopping.

The girl was so charmed by this adorable scene that she couldn't help but laugh.

And that's when something very strange happened.

Suddenly, more Lumas began to pop out from the apricot planet. They were different colors, but they all shouted the same thing.

"My mama!" "My mama!"

The sight of all the shouting Lumas only made the girl laugh harder. "What am I going to do with all these children?!"

The Lumas just stared blankly as she doubled over laughing.

"I guess we'll have to name each and every one of you."

Tomorrow, once she had finished naming them all, she would begin moving all the Lumas into the new house.

Spend all night drawing ugh..

First time drawing Waluigi, so please forgive any imperfections. Additionally, I plan to develop a love story between Rosalina and Waluigi, with a focus on parenthood and family issues. They always meet at night, as they prefer to keep their relationship private.

In his lowest moment, Waluigi found himself in a gloomy state of mind, feeling lost and alone. Then he saw something incredible - a huge star-shaped woman that seemed to be floating in the air. He attempted to run away but was caught by Rosalina, who was exploring the planet and was intrigued by his appearance. Despite his ego, Waluigi was somewhat intimidated by Rosalina's beauty, especially her eyes, though he secretly admired her, and was surprised that someone as attractive as her would even bother speaking to him. He pretended to be confident, but deep down, he knew he was not as conventionally attractive as other male beings he had encountered. Nonetheless, Rosalina found Waluigi's face unique, particularly his nose, and the two ended up getting to know each other over their shared personal stories. After weeks of silent communication, they officially became friends, and their bond grew stronger as they continued to spend time with each other.

I will do more research on Waluigi and Wario's personalities and background. I also decided to make Rosalina able to change her height in my alternate universe, which adds another layer of complexity to her character. In this AU, Rosalina suffers from a deadly sickness that killed her mother, but she is able to survive thanks to her extensive use of cosmic magic. Parts of her body have taken on a space-like appearance due to her magic, and these areas become like Neptune when she gets angry, making it dangerous to touch her. I also chose to portray Rosalina's nose as hooked, and changed her skin and hair color to be different from her original design to differentiate her from the Mario universe. If I were to color her in the future, I would aim to accentuate the space theme even further.

Drawing Prince Peasley for the first time was quite challenging, as I mostly focus on female characters. However, I am working on improving my skills when it comes to drawing males. I decided to incorporate some intricate details into his outfit to make him look presentable, but may simplify his ensemble later on. I am currently satisfied with the result and look forward to creating more stunning sketches of Prince Peasley.

Prince Peasley remains a Beanish prince and a well-respected hero in the Beanbean kingdom, but I wanted to add elements of plant themes to his character design to make him stand out even more. Although his first outfit will be redesigned again, he takes great pride in his hair and facial features which he believes are charming and lovely. His personality remains the same, and I plan to introduce a nephew whom he eventually adopts into my AU. This will coincide with the fan children I have previously created.

Welp, that's all for today. I love adding information to my designs and some background to the characters.
