A soft sigh fell from the king's lips as his head dropped. He was having some painful memories resurface so he was nursing a glass of whiskey.

The Radio Demon Fucks a Human Sacrifice (part 4)
⟢ part1♡̶sidestory♡̶part2♡̶part3♡̶part4 ⟣
7k words of a fever dream, happy Sunday, sinners ✨💦 I really hope you like it 🥺💖
You were back, unexpectedly but welcomed nonetheless. But now Alastor finds himself in a new kind of hell. There was, unfortunately for him, no killing what he felt when he looked at you.
{Warnings/Promises: Smut, Ace spectrum Alastor x FemReader, Alastor has feelings, creampie is the best nighttime snack, Angel is always the good guy, cervix punishment, mating press, Alastor demon form, Antlers go brrrr, drinking to forget, drowning (in cum)((and emotions)), discussions of murder, Alastor gets horny for discussions of murder, kinda breed kink if you squint, I saw a fan image of a hazbin hotel pool and it’s been stuck in my head for days.}
MINORS DNI (ah! Eh! I — stop. I see you. You know I see you, right? Get outta here! 🚨)
⨯ . ⁺ ✦ ⊹ ꙳ ⁺ ‧ ⨯. ⁺ ✦ ⊹ . * ꙳ ✦ ⊹
You were quick to stifle your smile, seeing Alastor standing in front of you with his hand outstretched. Why were you smiling? You were dead. Brutally so. And, You were in hell. But the corners of your mouth kept tugging upward at the sight of the stupid fucking deer demon before you. His own wild smile, eyes half lidded as he looked at you like he knew you.
You took his hand, needing the help standing. He fingers slipped from your palm and came to rub the velvet skin of your—- ears? You smacked his hand away, taking a step back.
The look he gave you, confusion? You weren’t sure, his head cocked to the side, hand lingering a beat longer in the air. He took a step toward you and you took one back.
Alastor laughed, “Quite the welcome, dear.”
You narrowed your eyes, did he know? Did he know you dreamt of him so many nights? That you struggled daily to not see his face behind your eyelids, not hear his lilting voice in your ear?
“Long time no see, Alastor.” You didn’t mean to sound quite so bored when you said it, you weren’t really sure at all what was going on in your head. You didn’t expect to see him so soon, literally immediately upon your death. You didn’t have time to recalibrate the mixed up feelings you had created for yourself over this stranger.
You pined for months to see him again, trying so hard to push the memory of him as deep as you could. So deep, in fact, you found yourself tortured at night with fantasies of his company. Even during the day, your life was altered around him. You couldn’t listen to the radio, the odd static and reverb just forcing him back into your consciousness. You took long forest walks, thinking about hunters and deer. You wore that fucking robe for an embarrassingly long time, remembering being in another world entirely.
Alastor’s face fell, throat closing slightly as he thought he realized what was happening. You didn’t remember the time you’d spent with him. He had been enjoying lazy nights in his room and pleasurable times in the woods with a ghost. He took a step closer, maybe if he— maybe your body would remember? If you just smelled his bed, perhaps you’d stop acting so cold. If he could awaken the impressions he was sure he left on your soul, he could pick up where he left off. A comfortable companion. Kind eyes that only saw him. His name, sweet and low tumbling from your lips.
You hit the wall with your back, making distance from him. He hadn’t hurt you, but you couldn’t be sure what would happen now. Fantasies are no indication of a person’s real self. Your dream romps were just that— dreams. Fiction your mind produced to fill the gap in your life he somehow created in your short time together. Imagination fleshing out this unknown demon you couldn’t stop thinking about.
His hand fell. There was a second his smile dropped, brows knitted. It came and it went, “Well! I best go get Charlie. She is the official welcome committee of the Hazbin Hotel, after all. Follow me.” The door swung open, his long arm gesturing.
Charlie pulled you into a hug, bouncing between “Welcome back!” And “I am so, so sorry you died!” She held your hands in hers, “The hotel has gone through a lot since you left! I have so much to show you. While Alastor has your room b…” her voice carried on, but your mind stayed put. She did jazz hands at every sconce and door frame on the way to the lobby.
You had expected it, your death. You figured there was a 50/50 chance you didn’t make it out of that forest. But that didn’t make this moment any less surreal. You looked down at your body, yours but new. Your hands came to your head, fingers climbing up your skull until you found them. Two soft, tulip petal shaped ears. Were you going to be sick? The room began to spin. Charlie’s voice underwater. Was some detective going to knock on your parent’s door? Carrying a folder with your photo and bad news? Your eyes clenched at the image, your heart ballooning in your chest.
“Maybe she needs to take a rest,” his voice cut through the waters of your confusion, a spear straight to your psyche. His hand slipped up your arm, resting on your back. You shook your head, eyes blinking wildly.
“It’s fine. Please, Charlie, continue your tour.” You took an exaggerated step to your left, out from under his touch. You thought you heard him sigh. Why was he being so kind? The last time you spoke you were staring daggers at him while he carried on about doing exactly what he had promised.
Charlie excitedly presented the lobby to you, the bar, the library. Alastor walked a few feet behind you both, quiet, his shadow dancing down the hallway in front of you. It’s mouth flipping from grin to grimace and back as it watched you nod along to every detail Charlie felt you should know.
The newest addition to the hotel since you left, a large indoor pool on the second to top floor. You lingered there, watching the water reflect pink and red light from the floor to ceiling windows overlooking Pentagram City.
“Almost done! To the left is Dad’s studio. He comes and goes. Ya know, parent stuff.”
You tried to mask your concern for whatever damaged parent-child relationship she was referencing.
“And to the right is Alastor’s radio station.”
You glanced to the demon, standing near the wall, inspecting his nails. “I didn’t know he had a radio station. I just assumed-,” You shrugged, “He just sounded like that.”
Alastor felt his bottom lid of his left eye twitch involuntarily. Why were you speaking like he wasn’t there?
He bit his tongue, literally. He needed time to think, to plan how to handle this situation. Your death was early and therefore unexpected for him, too. Not nearly as surprising, though, as your loss of memory of him.
He knew though, maybe this was for the best. If you were here, if he could see you around the hotel, perhaps that desire to have you near would die down. His shadow shifted behind him before sinking into the floor. Yes, exactly. This was a good thing. His eyes glanced to you, to your little doe features, two ears and a tiny fluff of a tail. His jaw tightened, had you done it on purpose? What did it mean?
”Would you like to see it?” He didn’t recognize his own voice, because he hadn’t realized he was going to say it until it was done.
Yes. “No thank you.” You wanted to run face first into the wall. It felt like your ribs were twisting off your spine. One side lurched up—- touch him. He wants you, he felt so good. Get him alone. The other side pulling down—- fuck him. He owns you, he’s a demon. Stay away from him.
His ears turned back and down, folding into his skull. You tried to keep your face neutral as you stared back at him, breathing teetering on panting. Every time you looked at him you were in danger of spilling your guts.
“Well!” Charlie slid into the tense air between you two, nervous chuckles, “That makes sense! Because Al’s station is super off limits. So. Uhh where was I going with this.” She looked around, “Is the room ready, Al?”
He nodded, leading you both to the elevator and a few floors down.
“This floor is for our more precious residents. Not that every soul isn’t precious! But ya knooow,” she opened your door, “You’ve got Angel, Husk, Niffty, sometimes Cherri Bomb, and Alastor as neighbors!”
Yippee. You get to lie awake knowing the object of your fucked desire is just past an easily smashed wall.
There was a moment where you all three looked at each other. Charlie becoming more and more fidgety as the seconds ticked on.
“Sooo, We should let her rest, like you said, right Alastor?” Charlie began a dramatic walk to the bedroom door, taking big steps with high knees.
You needed to do this and let it be. “Actually, may I have a moment, Alastor?”
Always, Yes. “I suppose I have the time, my dear.” He twirled his microphone stand before settling it behind his back. Charlie wanted to ask you if you were sure, but the tension was rising again. She backed out of the room, pulling the door closed as she went.
Alone. Again. There was a feeling in the air, like you would either fuck or fight. Was it an animal thing? Or was it always there?
“I never got to thank you.”
His stomach turned, he couldn’t bear this again. Please, stop thanking him. Smile straining, struggling to keep it together, he nodded, “Whatever for?”
You had a strange feeling, a familiarity to the conversation. Ah, that was right. Would this end the same way as your dream? With you on your back? “You were — true to your word.” You fiddled with the comforter of the bed, avoiding looking at him. “You were gentle and you got me home safe and sound. I didn’t thank you. I was just so-,”
“Full of misplaced rage?” His head tilted to the left, eyebrows high.
“Just rage, would have been fine. It was an unfair situation that you helped get me out of.”
Alastor watched your face, only sadness to be found. Not a sight he took any pleasure in. “Well you should truly thank Angel Dust. He is the one who brought me to you, desperate to help you. Even offered me his soul! Not that it’s his to give.”
No one had told you. “Oh,” genuine surprise, “Thank you for that. Yeah, I have to thank him. I’d probably still be in Valentino’s—,” the light of the lamp beside the bed flickered, “studio.”
Looking at you, Alastor couldn’t decipher the feeling in his chest. Relief, sure. Shock, yes. But behind that, a strange tugging beneath his sternum. A pain, vague and nebulous floating over his chest. Why did you come back so soon? Why did you die so early? He wanted to ask you so many things, but if you didn’t retain any memory of your time with him, he doubted he would like the answers.
“I’m going to finish my mental breakdown now, thanks for the tour and uh, the information.” Scratching awkwardly at your arm, you went and opened the door. He paused a moment before moving. “I would like to see your radio station, sometime. If you’d want to show me.” He nodded and left. The room felt colder now, deader.
Your night went exactly how you anticipated, lying awake in the plush red blankets of your new home staring at the ceiling. You wondered if you slept, if you’d see him again. Thoughts of the overworld, family, connections. Little fits of rest came but nothing more than 30 minutes here and there.
Alastor paced his room until dawn, an animal in an unlocked cage. When you had appeared, dead and truly in hell, he thought you’d come to see him. He was embarrassed to even think it now, he had believed you wanted to be with him in earnest.  As comfortable with his company as he was yours. He cradled his head, again he felt himself succumbing to the enjoyment of others. He had accepted it with you, more so than the rest, and now it was a weapon in your hands. He felt like an idiot. And he hated it. What a fool, to think you’d died to get home to him. A growl rising in his chest. Home. He desperately wanted to see Rosie, to vent the situation and find clarity. But the idea of leaving you alone in the hotel irked him. He couldn’t put his finger on why. Maybe you wouldn’t be here when he returned. He could always summon you with your connection to him, but he wanted you to be there, with him, of your own volition or he didn’t want it at all.
If you’d forgotten entirely, he had two courses of action. To start over, or to let it die.
He looked to his bed, remembering you lying there. Sleeping, peaceful, content. Safe. Alastor turned to the wall, knowing you lied just beyond the wallpaper and sheet rock in your own deathbed, alone. The out of place physical need for you was something he struggled with, but whatever feeling this was — far worse. You were his, yet he couldn’t have you. Couldn’t possess you in the ways he’d grown accustomed to the past year. Starting over felt tedious. But this wasn’t a feeling that would die, he knew that. He could feel that by how deep the roots of his despair sunk into his soul when you looked at him like a stranger.
He didn’t rest that night, and neither did you.
Maybe it was the deal, the connection between you and him, but no matter where you were in the hotel you could feel him. A sixth sense, his presence always on your radar. A small part of your brain power was always on him, focused on the idea of Alastor. You wandered the halls until the others woke, feeling that little string between the two of you. Taut, strong.
When you found Angel that first morning back, you took a seat beside him in the lobby.
“Alastor told me you are why I got help. From Valentino.” You tried your best to maintain eye contact, not getting distracted by his arms.
“Don’t mention it, sweetheart. I kinda did it for myself, I wouldn’t have been able to sleep again if I just let it happen. I’m a freak but I ain’t sick in the head like Val.” He locked his phone, turning to you, “So do you always start passin’ out mid-convo or does Charlie’s voice just do something to ya?”
You groaned, “Did she tell you that?”
“Well she panic-sang it, real worried about you. Did you get settled in yesterday?”
“I didn’t sleep, now that you mention it.” Angel laughed, taking you by surprise, “What?”
“Oh I’m sure you didn’t. Not with your co-star next door.” He winked, “I’m sure you’re happy to be here in the flesh.”
“Ugh I forgot about that. Did -,”
“Everyone see it? Yeah you’re a minor celebrity.” You took a throw pillow and screamed into it while he spoke, “But hey! At least you don’t gotta worry about crazy fans. Smiles will keep ‘em at bay.”
“Why would he do anything for me?” Pillow still over your face, you groaned, “I’m just a soul on his roster.”
“Ha I don’t think he treats just any soul the way he’s been treatin’ you. I think Husk would tell me.” Angel kicked his feet, “What a mental image! Does he have pubes? I feel like he does but they’re like, sharp? Like hostile somehow?”
Pillow down, “Ew, Angel! Hostile? How the fuck would I know?”
Angel stopped, wide eyed, “Oh is it a secret? Is that part of the deal?” A sinister giggle, “You can tell ole’ Angel Dust. We’re pals, remember? You technically owe me.” His many fingers poked at your sides, goading you.
You scrunched up your nose, swatting at his hands, “Angel, what are you talking about?”
His smile fell, now side eyeing you, he opened his mouth to ask you to stop playing coy when he heard you all those nights in Alastor’s room when Charlie burst into the lobby.
“I am so sorry! I didn’t tell you about the redemption activities!” She tossed papers onto the coffee table, “Alright, plan Stairway to Heaven!”
Angel sat back, bored the juicy gossip had to wait, your attention fully occupied by Charlie’s sketches.
Alastor watched you from the second floor balcony. Over the next few days he would always be watching, either from the shadows or out in the open. Looking at you, that carnal hunger was gone. He felt no overpowering desire to be surrounded by you. But, now and then, you’d make a small noise or sigh and he would feel a little twitch. A muscle memory reaction to you
Where the need to touch you had faded, he instead found an insatiable hunger to be near you. He had thought it would be better, you at the hotel. But it had become worse. The further you were, the more undone he felt. It baffled him. So, he stayed near. You were almost always within earshot or eye sight. If not, he at least knew where you were. He could focus on the hotel and his plans for Charlie only then.
You never looked at him, it was obviously on purpose. Even when he would take a seat beside you or across from you, you’d manage to glance everywhere but directly at Alastor. By the fourth day, he felt like he was going to snap. It was beginning to feel disrespectful.
That fourth night when you again couldn’t sleep, you found yourself at the edge of the pool. Did people in hell swim? You’d been there for nearly two hours and not a single sinner appeared. It was well past midnight, though.
The entire room was tinged pink, shadows a pretty red. The water itself looked like a sea of rose quartz. You didn’t have a bathing suit. You didn’t have anything now that you thought about it. Nevertheless, you slipped into the water and let yourself float from the edge.
What a familiar feeling, floating. The ceiling shimmered with the water’s ever-moving reflection. Mind reeling back to the green glow casting your shadow on the ceiling of Valentino’s studio. You closed your eyes, you were always sinking it seemed. Sinking out of consciousness, into a another dream, out of the woods and into the bedroom of your captivator. The only times you felt weightless— ah, right. Body held up by shadows, cameras rolling. Under him, beneath the stars, sleeping form disconnected from your mind. It was always with him. You wondered for a second if you could sleep like this. What would happen if you drowned. Could you drown?
The carpet soaked with every step you took, your body sopping wet, clothes heavy with pool water. You were dragging your bare feet to the elevator when you saw a light coming from the ajar door to Alastor’s radio studio.
He was looking over papers, monocle resting on his cheek. Alastor turned to you, taking note of your shoes in your hand and wet hair. Your ears were heavy with water, fine fur drooping with the weight. “You look like a drowned rat, my doe.”
“Don’t call me that,” you wiped your hair from your face, “I can’t sleep.”
You never struggled to sleep in his bed. “What did you do when you couldn’t sleep on earth?”
Your life already felt far in the rearview, either the effects of sleep exhaustion or your time in the underworld, “I slept… really well. Not a sleepless night I can remember.”
Alastor only hummed a response. Because all of your sleepless nights were here, with him.
“Why are you working?”
“Why are you swimming?”
“I just told you.” Your brows knitted, was this a conversation or a riddle.
Ever present smile beamed back at you, “Well then take a guess!”
You stared at him, sitting at his curved desk with all his switches and buttons. Papers here and there. Just smiling at you. “Cool, thanks for the waste of time.” You turned to leave when you heard a low sound coming from his chest.
“Why do you speak to me like that? Avoid me?” He stood, hair sharp and standing at attention, “What have I done to you to deserve your disgust?”
“Nothing! That’s-,” the problem, “I’m just tired. I don’t feel right, like I misplaced something. There’s a nagging feeling, maybe something I forgot in the overworld.”
Alastor closed the gap between you two, “I can assure you everything you need is here.”
You rolled your eyes, “Yeah. Of course.” Turning to leave, his clawed hand reached for your wrist. Pulling you back, your wet clothes were now soaking into his suit.
His free hand took your chin and made you look up at him. Alastor’s red and pink eyes stared into yours, grin wider than you remembered seeing it before. You fixed your gaze on the desk behind him. “Look at me.” His voice cracked with a static interference. Your eyes finally came to his, your hand now holding his wrist just below your chin. “Don’t you dare look away.” He saw it, a flash of recognition flit across your now wide eyes. There was a pulse of electricity to your core, your body remembering his voice, those words, like an activation phrase. How did he know? Your thighs rubbed together, feet barely touching the ground as he held you close.
When his lips crashed into yours, you melted for a moment. Your body relaxed into him, a small whine slipping from your mouth to his. But then something in you snapped back, remembering he was a stranger holding your leash. You pulled his hand from your face with ease as your feet came back to the ground. Tugging your wrist free, you opened your mouth to yell at him, nothing but heavy breathing came out. Again, he reduced you to speechlessness. You glanced at his face before turning; he looked wounded.
You thought you heard his shoes shuffling along the carpet as you rushed into the elevator. A bang, a thrash, echoing down the elevator shaft as you descended to your floor.
Did he think because you acquiesced to sex before, somewhat under the pressure of a worse fate, he could just kiss you anytime he wanted? Did he see you as a toy?
Maybe being a toy would be nice. Maybe a good fuck would let you finally sleep. He did hit all the right places, those shadowy appendages never letting a single need go ignored…
You slammed your door shut, angrily peeling off your clothes. No, you weren’t a possession. You weren’t an object to be taken off the shelf at his convenience. No matter how much your body ached for his clawed hands and thin waist, you wouldn’t lower yourself to being under him. Not metaphorically, therefore not physically. You curled onto your bed, naked, body humming for him. Sleep came in pieces, fractured moments of rest.
“You look like shit.” Angel greeted you when the sun finally rose and everyone mulled around the hotel. You waited until you were sure the lobby bar wouldn’t be empty, you didn’t want to run into him alone.
“How do you fucking sleep in this place? All night just screams and moans from the city.” You rested your cheek on the bar, “Husk, something with orange juice that’ll make me forget where I am, please.”
“The moans are my favorite. Speaking of moanin’ in the night-,” Angel was cut off.
“Get used to it. You sold your soul to a psychotic dick. Welcome to the club,” Husk’s tone was harsh, tilting into sardonic as he slid your drink to you.
With a huff, you sat up, “Don’t compare us. You sold your soul. I—,” you searched with your hands for the word, “was guilty of having a colossal cunt of an aunt.” A deep sip of your drink, “Fuck, he only got my soul because he made a deal with a different demon for it. Soul traded in like a used car. I’m the Kia Sorento of hell.”
Husk grumbled, “Yeah well, either way. Might as well get comfortable. We’re here for the long haul.”
Angel put a hand out to shut up Husk, scooting his stool closer to you, “So like— did Mister Wrong-Kinda-Horny have you killed?” His eyes went to your ears and back, “Is that why ya came back a little lady deer? Some kinda sex thing?”
You downed your drink and gestured to Husk to refill your glass, speaking to Angel without looking at him, “Why would he do that?
He grabbed your bar stool and swivelled you to face him, leaning in even closer, “Well, ya know…” his eyebrows raised up and down, ready to finally get the dirty details, “because ya-,”
“My little doe, just who I was looking for.” His sudden appearance startled all three of you. He was ready now, to pin down your fate. Were you going to stay at the hotel permanently or not? With his supervision or without?
“Why does everyone keep interruptin’ me?!” Angel slammed his hand on the bar.
On impulse, your own hand formed a first, “Stop calling me that!”
Alastor laughed, unhinged, a finger wiping a tear from his eye. Still, the attitude with which you spoke to him surprised him, “Oh? Why should I? You are a doe,” his microphone gestured to your head, “And your soul belongs to me. If I remember correctly, so does your body.” His eyes darkened, back bent as he came to your eye level, “But I always have video evidence if you’re unsure of the details.”
You lifted your glass and cocked your arm back to throw it but stopped. Alastor was grinning, something in his stare egging you on. He was loving this. Finally you were paying some attention to him. You were looking right at him.
Setting the glass back down, you left your stool and slipped past him, “Lucky for you, radio demon. It’s all you have anymore.” You had decided you wouldn’t give him the satisfaction of saying his name.
Husk sunk beneath the bar, Alastor’s antlers expanding as his eyes became overtaken with black. Angel scrambled over the counter to join the cowering bartender. Alastor whipped around, spine cracking and stretching. You were in the elevator for another quick escape when you turned and saw him gaining on you, his mouth nearly unhinged, teeth sharp and numerous. His body contorted to get his truly demonic face in your eye line, back bending in half to drop his head down, “What did you say?” The air around him seemed to bend and shake, the hiss of a misaligned radio station biting at your skin.
Your finger was shaking as you pressed the ‘close door’ button repeatedly, wetting your lips you found your foothold in anger again, “Fuck you.”
You didn’t recognize the sounds you heard just past the hollow elevator doors. Something between a screech and a wail. Not a sound you’d heard any deer make before.
Shakey knees and legs melting to jelly barely carried you to your room. You collapsed against the door as soon as you entered, locking it. Not that it mattered, you knew that.
A knock shook the wood and made you yelp.
“It’s me!” You recognized Angel’s voice, “Let me in.”
He fell into your room, hair a mess and eyes wide, “I don’t know where he went but he left the hotel. Jesus Christ you have balls of steel.” He fixed his hair, adjusting his chest fluff, “Or are a total idiot.” He saw the tears swelling in your eyes, gears shifting immediately, “Oh shit, sorry. You okay?”
You shook your head no and crumbled to the floor, “I haven’t fucking slept more than three hours a night in like, five fucking days. I’m going crazy.”
“I don’t know why ya’ll are fightin’ but can’t Alastor help you out? Ya’ll are close, maybe a night in his bed will set you straight.”
Your tears streamed down your face, “Angel! What are you talking about?! You keep saying shit like we’re friends. The closest I’ve been to him was in my fucking wet dreams!” You curled into the fetal position on the carpet, exhausted, scared, confused. You’d never seen something as skin-crawling as his full demonic form. But a part of you was mesmerised by the transformation. A sick part of you, you decided.
Angel lied down beside you, facing you, eyes blinking. One of his hands wiped at your tears, “What exactly happened after you went home?”
You sniffled, “I couldn’t get him out of my head. I wore your robe. It smelled like you.”
He laughed, “I wondered where that thing went.”
“I started having these dreams, just—- really fucked dreams of him.”
Angel’s eyes narrowed, “fucked how?”
Your wanted to hide your face but didn’t have the energy to move your arms, “He fucked me in the woods like his life depended on it. Best sex of my life, in my own imagination. Naturally.”
Angel sat up, he didn’t know what to ask first, “best sex?? Sorry- no. Fuck, uh, you had dreams about fucking the Radio Demon? You two never… met up?”
You rolled onto your back, shaking your head, “If he could have visited me, he never did. Trust me, I looked for any sign.”
“Uh huuuuh.” Angel nodded, “Well. His extra weird attitude makes more sense. He’s been super creepy, always just popping’ outta shadows and shit. More than usual.”
Angel looked over you, crying softly on the floor. He considered telling you, but if Alastor hadn’t he figured it was best he stay out of it. Lest he be the one fleeing into elevators.
“Have ya considered actually fucking him?” Angel couldn’t believe he was recommending anyone fuck Alastor, but it seemed like maybe it’d actually do you good.
“Why would I do that?”
Angel looked annoyed, “Because you wanna fuck him?! Get it out of our system?”
“Yes and I sometimes wonder what it would be like to drive into oncoming traffic. We all have the call of the void. He—,” you thought about the kiss, “I feel like it’d just make it worse. I’d want more.”
Angel showed you his phone, “He’s apparently eating sinners in the doom district, so, it’s your call. But maybe a good bang would get you both to chill out.” He scrolled, “Fucking hell. The best sex, of your life? Have you not had much sex or-?”
You crawled up to your bed and plopped your now heavy body down, “Angel.”
“Do you have some weird kink? Is it just really big?”
“Angel!”
“Does he go full demon and his peni-,”
“ANGEL.”
He spun his head around to look at you, “I wanna respect your boundaries but I will actually die again if you don’t explain this shit to me.”
Settling back, you groaned, “I’ve never felt so needed before. He held onto me like he couldn’t breath unless I was under him. But you see him, you’ve been here. Does that sound like him?”
Angel sat beside you, “Honestly didn’t know he knew what sex was until you came here so” he leaned back, two arms holding him up, “You guys are pretty fucked up.” You nodded. “What did he say, when you told him about the dreams?”
“Didn’t really come up.” You rolled your eyes.
He patted your thigh, “Got it. You’re gonna owe me like, a metric shit ton of drugs.” Angel pushed off the bed, waving as he left, “I’ll see ya tomorrow!”
You sat up, staring curiously at where he had just been. Tomorrow? It was only 9am
.
Angel spent several hours in the lobby, pretending to read and socialize with residents. He jumped from the chaise lounge as soon as he saw Alastor walking into the hotel, “Hey uh, I know you know I think you’re a freaky fuck, but I wanna just say it sucks real bad and I’m sorry.” Alastor didn’t reply or even stop walking, Angel having to jog to keep pace.
“I mean, if my fuck buddy thought our bumpin’ uglies was all just dreams I’d be super fuckin’ bummed too.” Alastor became so still so quickly that Angel nearly fell over trying to stop his momentum. He waved his hand in front of Alastor’s face to make sure he was still conscious, “uhh anyone home in there?”
Alastor’s eyes flicked to dials, residents looking up warily as the power flickered and the space seemed to distort around them, “Explain, quickly.”
“She told me this mornin’! She thinks all those nights you were bangin’ her brains out — which, from one porn star to another, sounded top notch from my room — we’re just horny dreams. She’s all fucked in the head about it.”
Alastor melted into his shadow and slinked down the hall and up the walls, leaving Angel behind, “You all owe me!”
You heard footsteps suddenly advancing on you down the hall. Spinning around, your nose nearly brushed against his, Alastor’s face already down to your level.
He leaned in to you, his mouth hitting against your cheek, “I need to speak to you in my room, dear.” His voice was clearly not asking you.
Your blood ran cold, goosebumps dancing down your neck and arms. “Why would-,”
“Now.” His arms wrapped around your waist, you pushed him away and turned to walk off but stopped. You weren’t in the hallway anymore. A bedroom. With a haughty laugh you turned to spit venom at him for such a dirty trick.
 As if expecting it, he cut you off, “They weren’t dreams, my doe. It was astral projection.” He took you by the shoulders and pointed your entire body at the forest scene melting into his room. Had it always been there? You couldn’t remember seeing it before, when you arrived in hell. Just him and his smile.
You felt the blush rise from your toes to your ear tips. Both hands came to your face, desperate to hide your existence from the situation.
You remembered that grassy clearing, the tree line. Peaking in and up, you saw the starry sky you spent so many nights moaning into.
“Why-,” your hands balled into fists, “didn’t you tell me?!” You turned to him, face red. You wanted to shove him, to hit him, but your mother taught you better than to lay hands on someone first. You finished fights, not started them.
Alastor smiled down at you, like he always did, “I thought you had no memory of our-,”
You cut off him off at the head, “visits.”
He laughed, “spirited visits.” Was that a pun? You groaned.
“I, I thought it was just make believe.” The gentle touches, the sweet names whispered into your skin, the way you could taste him even after you woke. The blush burned your cheeks.
Now that you knew, now that your eyes fell on him once again with recognition, he felt you’d actually answer him, “How did you die?”
The question took you by surprise, You thought it was obvious, “I tried to kill a hunter in the woods. Well, I did kill him. But he killed me, too.”
A genuine grin spread across his lips, a cackle, “You killed a man?!” You shouldn’t have been so proud, but he looked so impressed, “Tell me every detail. Who was he to you?” Alastor’s hands came to your arms. You remembered last night, pulse quickening, and walked to his bed. You took a seat on the end, sinking softly into the plush blankets. Your hand ran over the fabric.
“My employee’s father.” The fabric was soft, the threads tiny and tight.
Alastor took a seat beside you, legs crossed, “Oh? And why him?”
A hum, “He was a bad man.”
His hand picked up yours, bringing it to his mouth. There was that loss of blood to his brain, something you effortlessly did to him. “Who says?” His own heart picking up pace. You killed. Was it egotistical to think you inspired such a thing? Did you kill for him?
You watched your fingers tremble under his lips, “What?”
“Who says he was bad?”
Your eyes searched the room for an answer, “I think anyone would agree with me.”
His smile reached his eyes, “So you decided? He probably thought he was quite alright.” He turned your wrist over, mouth pressing to your pulse point. “Did you plan it?” Your scent was familiar but different now. Skin still just as soft. He felt himself salivate. Your spell just as strong in death.
A gulp, all of those walls you struggled to keep standing turned to dust against his smirk. A stranger, a lover. Effortlessly your body shifted into a new gear under his touch. “Yeah, for a week. I waited until I knew he was going to be there. Walked the paths, bought a knife.”
“A knife,” he practically purred, “A favorite. No gun?” He pulled your arm toward him, bringing your whole body into his.
“I wanted something more… personal.”
Alastor buckled slightly, cock jumping in his lap. “You were made to be my undoing. I am sure of it. A cruel joke from heaven to distract me.” His mouth found your neck next, little nips before he chose a place and latched, sucking a bruise easily seen by others.
“This is a really fucked conversation, Alastor.” Your body softened, a small sigh coming before you could consider being embarrassed.
“For a ‘fucked’ situation, my dear.” His nose traced along your jaw. “But one you’ll find I quite enjoy.” He placed your hand on his lap. Did he see the face you made? The stupid grin? Your hand squeezed lightly on the length you felt tenting his pants, earning a moan into your cheek. Real. He was real. In your hands, now. No dreams or projection. No fantasies. No little pink toy. “Bear with me, just a little more. You’ll find my … proclivity for such topics quite important for these kinds activities.”
“You’re sick.” You turned, nose to nose smiling still.
He hummed, his own smile spreading, “desperately so.” Your hand gently traced the shape of him through his pants, “Why did you kill him? As opposed to all the other bad men?”
A question you didn’t feel you could answer, “This topic is having the opposite effect on me…” you squeezed him again.
“Fair enough,” he pushed you back onto the bed, leg going over your body to straddle you, “Then tell me how you felt? A compromise.”
How did you feel? When you killed him? “I felt strong.” He repositioned himself between your legs, “I wasn’t scared. I knew I’d succeed or-,”
“Or?” His breathing now a barely strained pant. Say it. Say it and he’ll let himself go completely.
You focused on the canopy of his bed, a red wine color much like his own coat. “Or I’d end up here, with you.” His head fell, forehead resting on your stomach. You looked down to see his antlers larger than before, no longer cute little prongs. “Alastor?”
He wasn’t an idiot.
Maybe a little roundabout, but you chose him.
Red dribbled from his chin, mind going foggy as eyes went black. His hands rid you of your clothes with delicate cuts, your body lurched up the bed by wide palms.
You chose to come back.
Your hands came down to undo his pants and belt, seeing he probably couldn’t manage himself. As soon as he was free of his clothes, he was rutting into your thigh. “Alastor”, you took his face in both hands, dials flickers to dilated pupils as you got him to focus on you.
“My little doe.”
You came home.
His head came to rest just above yours, wide and sharp antlers just out of reach. His leaking cock finally found your core, Alastor groaning into the blankets to find you already so wet. Your hands gripped his arms, nails breaking skin in anticipation.
Lined up and impatient, he pushed up into you with unmeasured force. You bit onto the flesh of his shoulder, trying to keep yourself from screaming. In those dreamlike visits, he filled you so perfectly, body molding to him. But now, you were stuffed. With one thrust your cervix was bruised and tender. The tiniest pain bled into the eye-rolling pleasure of having him back in you. With heavy breaths he thrust into you with a need you couldn’t ever remember feeling before. He fucked you like he would die without your moans spilling across his chest.
And it was true, feeling your soft cunt clenching him so tightly was a need more than anything else. A ray of light at the bottom of the Mariana’s trench. Impossible, and undeserved. You were everything he wasn't good enough to have, wasn’t clean enough of conscience to hold. An angel clipping a wing to dip into hell, you killed to sink back into his arms. Even if you didn’t say it, not yet. He could feel it in you. He had left a deeper impression on your soul than perhaps you had his. You weren’t just his by way of a deal, you corrupted yourself to his level.
He looked down at you, your eyes already wet and unfocused, mouth hanging open as every breath turned into rhythmic moans. Your soul a fresh snowfall, your adoration for him a drop of blood. His eyes shut, mind focused on where you and him merged now. Friction pulling him forward to his climax.
Your body was trembling, his lower stomach rubbing against your already swollen clit. That soft button just past your entrance wasn’t just being pressed, it was smashed against your walls with his shaft. His head dragging past it. You wanted to speak, to express how good you felt, but your tongue was frozen in your mouth. Every inhale became a gasp, every exhale was now a moan. You felt his body tighten, thrusts become shallow as his large head refused to stray far from your womb. Silently, your hands tore into his shoulders as you gripped through your orgasm. The muscles in your jaw now locked. Your legs came to wrap around his hips and draw him in, thighs convulsing as his pace didn’t stop for you to recover.
With an unmistakable mating press, his cock buried itself in your pussy. Balls deep suddenly made more sense as a phrase. Your cervix stung as his body forced more room for itself in you. The way your walls spasmed around him felt debauched, your body starved for him. Hungry as he had been. Alastor felt your soft cunt drowning in his seed and he groaned into your hair. Already spilling out, he didn’t even consider unsheathing himself from you.
You struggled to slow your heart rate, vision blocked entirely with his own heaving chest. As he softened in you, so did his form. Body reconfiguring above you, antlers now small and uncharacteristically cute.
With regained red eyes, he looked at your face.
“Are you-,” he sighed, “Asleep.” Not a bad future after all, he mused. Watching you sleep.
He considered wiping you down before placing you beneath his blanket, but it seemed like such a waste. Your head on his pillow, he felt everything in his chest settle. Like a puzzle whose pieces were all right but just not flush, his own damned soul settled flat. Everything snuggly in place.
One of his large palms came to rest on your head, a familiar place for him now, “Sleep well, darling doe. I’ll be here when you wake.”

Hugging Them Out of Nowhere - Lucifer Morningstar, Cherri Bomb, Vox and Valentino
Tumblr media
Here is the second part of the hugging headcanon with the other hazbin characters. I am going to try to make Valentino be a bit more approachable in this story since I know he is on this fandoms hit list.Will contain spoilers from some episodes. Enjoy!
Lucifer Morningstar🐥
Tumblr media
🐥"OH! Ummm.....something wrong? Did you want to play with one of my rubber ducks?” Lucifer would have no idea what is going on. He will be stood like a statue, while holding one of his signature ducks. Despite being the king of hell, this man is an awkward softie.
🐥Lucifer was officially staying at the hotel now after its renovation after the fight with Adam. It was nice that he was finally making an effort with Charlie’s dreams and acting like a father.
🐥However, this poor man suffered from depression, due to being stressed being the king of hell and also thinking about his wife leaving. Man couldn’t catch a break.
🐥His bedroom is where he would stay when he was like that, crafting another duck figurine at his desk. He hadn’t noticed you coming into his room to see how he was. The minute he felt arms wrap around him is when he realized your presence.
🐥 “Ummmmmmmm….hi there?” Lucifer just remained in the position he was in, staring at you, trying to figure out what was happening. Soon, you had let him go, wearing an apologetic smile.
🐥 “I’m sorry, your highness.” Lucifer jumped when he heard that and waved his hands. “OH! Just call me Lucifer or Luci! Don’t need to be formal with me!” You smiled at him and nodded your head. The both of you stared at each other for a bit before he broke the silence and asked why the sudden hug.
🐥Feeling shy, you rubbed the back of your neck, “Well, I noticed you seemed more melancholic than usual today. Usually when I am sad, a hug always makes me feel better so I thought maybe that would help you.” Red pupils continued to stare at you making you feel nervous, wondering if you had upset him
🐥Your body was met with a strong impact, as Lucifer tackled you in a hug, squeezing you tightly to the point it was hard to breathe. His face was in the crook of your neck, as he continued to squeeze. “C-can’t br-eath.” Gasping out an answer, you felt Lucifer let you go, by still placed his hands on your shoulder.
🐥 “S-sorry! Sorry! I forget my own strength sometimes haha! You okay? No broken bones?” He kept moving his head to peer at you, making sure you were alright. His actions caused you to laugh, surprising him. “You’re such a dad.” Lucifer then smiled at that, placing a hand on his chest, “Of course I am! I am hells number one daddy!” That sentence caused you to cackle, confusing Lucifer even more. “Hahahaha! Don’t ever say that again!” Lucifer tilted his head at you: “Wait, what did I say?”
🐥His clueless side to him was quite cute at times. You managed to calm down. “Lucifer, if you ever need someone to talk to or have another one of your depressed episodes, come find me okay. I’ll be there to listen and also provide comforting hugs." He wore a shocked expression, before he broke into a kind smile, patting your head. "Thank you."
🐥The relationship the both of you had improved a lot. He was more open with you and would discuss his problems. He was kind enough to bring you to his workshop, showing you how to make his prized ducklings. You received a nice surprise when you went into your room and saw a duck figurine that resembled you, with a red rose lying next to it.
Cherri Bomb🍒
Tumblr media
🍒"Woah! Hey bit✪✪!! Why the sudden tackle? You looking to throw down?" Cherri is very hyperactive and fun-loving, you almost never see her depressed about anything. She is either throwing bombs during turf wars or partying at the club with Angel Dust. She wasn't close with everyone at the hotel except Angel, but she was friendly as long as you didn't do something to piss her off.
🍒However, she does have a sensitive side to herself, but she puts up a tough guard to hide it. The three of you, yourself, Cherri and Angel were partying at a popular sex club, chugging down shot after shot. It took you a while to notice, since you were slightly buzzed, that Cherri had a more sad expression on her face then usual. You were about to question what was wrong, but she got up quickly from the bar, saying she was going out for a quick smoke.
🍒Sensing something else was going, on you let Angel know that you would be right back, before following after Cherri. Looking everywhere, you were able to find her on the patio deck of the club, smoking a cigarette while leaning on the metal bar. She didn't noticed you until she heard the sound of the door sliding and saw you walking towards her.
🍒 "Oh! Hey hoe! Whatcha doing out here? Craving a smoke too?" She was smiling wide at you, but you can tell that it was forced. Walking closer to her, you threw her arms around her, causing her one eye to stare at you in shock. ""Woah mate! Whats wrong with ya?" She patted one of your arms, wondering what was going on. "Cherri, drop the act already. I saw that look on your face in the club. There is obviously something going on. So come on, spill it."
🍒 Cherri's eye just widen further and the smile on her face dropped. She turned her head down, not saying a word to you as you kept holding her. "AGH! I'm just pissed with myself at the moment! I'm trying so hard to obtain the level of overlord, but it's not working. I need that status, so I can help Angie to be rid of that moth fu✪✪face!!" Cherri yelled out, as she threw the cigarette from her hand, while punching the metal bar with her fist. You continued to listen to her, and hugged her tighter.
🍒You both stayed like that for a bit, before you spoke: "You will do it Cherri Bomb! I believe in you and so does Angel Dust. Its gonna be hard in the beginning, but you can do it. I want the same for Angel too and I'll try to help in anyway I can." After that little speech you gave, you felt Cherri shaking with laughter. "AHAHAHA! Sorry mate, but you fighting in turf wars? I'm sorry, but your baby face is way to sweet to be considered a threat!" Her words cause you to pout. "Still, thanks mate for coming out here and making me feel better." She moved her body, positioning herself so she could hug you back.
🍒The both of you let go after that, just in time for Angel Dust to come, wondering where the both of you went. "Cherri? Toots? What's going on? Y'all been gone for a while, I thought you bailed on me!" The both of you laughed and walked closer to Angel. "Nothing Angel. Just having some girl talk." You didn't want to tell Angel what had happened before since you probably expected Cherri didn't want to worry him. You felt an arm wrap around your shoulder, and pulled you closer to them. Cherri smiled down at you before looking back at Angel. "Sorry Angie, got distracted. Lets get back to the party! I owe you a drink Y/N!" Cherri looked down at you when she said that before pulling you to the bar, with Angel following behind, wearing a smirk.
🍒Cherri exchanged numbers with you after that. She chatted with both you and Angel on the regular. Her messages were very wild and enthusiastic, either sending a picture of herself in a fight or just making funny inappropriate jokes. She had invited you to her crib to hang out at one point. You should consider yourself lucky, cause she only invites the people she cares about to her place, so the fact that she did that means she considers you a very close friend. She has offered to help train you too, since she noticed your lack of skill in combat, so she wanted to help prepare you. She knew that it would help you in the long run and also allow you to tag team together in a turf war.
Vox📺
Tumblr media
📺Hugging Vox was not as simple as you think. He had a reputation to uphold as one of the three Vee's. Also he didn't like being touched.
📺He was an alright guy despite his massive ego. You had been in his business for a while, so you knew quickly how he function and acted in certain situations. His mood had been very sour lately, since he had just realized his arch enemy, the radio demon was back after disappearing for seven years. His great plan was to call Alastor out during one of his video podcasts, only to be mocked down by Alastor, causing him to short circuit and cause all the power to be cut off.
📺Vox remained in his office after that, fuming. His screen was flickering every once in a while, as blue sparks kept popping up around him. You hesitated a bit, as you stood at the door to his office, contemplating if you should go in a calm him down or just let him cool off on his own. Finally reaching a decision, you walked in.
📺He was sitting in his large red chair, in front of his multiple screens. The back of the chair was facing you, as you walked closer to wear he was. Having reached closer to him, you look at him, seeing if he was okay. He was leaned back against the chair, hands covering his screen. It was mumbling something to himself, which was hard to make out, but you heard some words like "alastor" and "a✪✪hole."
📺Clearing your throat, you allowed your presence to be know to him. Vox jumped a bit, before removing one of hands to look at you. He was clearly irritated, given the scowl on his face. "The hell you doing in here? I made in clear I was not to be disturbed." You bounced back a bit at his tone, but you stood strong. "I apologize, sir. I had come to see if you were alright, since you have been in here for a few hours." Vox continued to glare at you before putting his hand back to cover his face. "Argh! That old fashion radio di✪✪head still has me pissed off!" You listen to him rant, and wanted to at least find a way to ease his emotions. "Will you allow me to help calm you down?"
📺Vox removed his hands from his face, his screen eyebrows arched up a bit. He gave a sigh and just waved his hand in the air, saying to do whatever. Taking a deep breath, you walked closer to Vox, leaning down to wrap your arms around him. Vox just froze, hands raised up in shock. He wasn't expecting something like this. After a few seconds, you let him go and stood back up, rubbing your neck. "Sorry! I- That always use to make me feel better whenever I am upset about something, so I though that would help you." You continued to look down away from Vox, afraid that you overstepped.
📺You slowly look back at him, hoping he wasn't more enraged. He surprisingly wasn't, but was more stumped then anything. Soon his screen face lit up with his blue-teethed smile. "Well that was a surprise! Didn't expect you to do that?" He continued to smirk at you, which made you twiddle your fingers. "Sorry." Vox just gave a huff, turning his face away. "Well I didn't hate it." That comment surprised you. You weren't able to see his face,, but his screen looked a tad pinkish, but it was hard to make out. Letting out a cough, he turned back and stretched. "Well time to get back and do some overlord work. You can head back and do whatever." Smiling, you bowed your head a bit, "Very well, sir." You turned around, beginning to walk back to the sliding doors. "Vox." You stopped and turned back, "I'm sorry?" Vox spun his chair, around facing you, "You can call me Vox." His face was hard to read, since you never seen him with that kind of expression before. He slowly turned back around, back of the chair facing you now.
📺He was a bit different after that whole interaction. Yes, he was still the egotistical Vox, but he acted a bit softer when he was with you behind closed doors. He would ask how your day was and how the new Voxtech sales were coming along. He tried to have you around more, whenever he was doing his podcasts or having a meeting with the other Vees. You noticed his eyes staring at you, with a sort of soft look, but he would quickly turn around like nothing was happening.
Valentino🦋
Tumblr media
🦋It wasn't easy to offer Valentino a hug. He was one of the the three V's, the overlords that dominated most of Pentagram city. Valentino was a busy man, since he controlled a lot of the lustful side of the city, so he was either surrounded by hot demons or working as the director for his porn videos.
🦋 However, he was prone to hissy fits, that would result in him either breaking multiple things in his office or injure one of Velvette's models. You weren't sure what caused this tantrum, but you could hear Valentino's squeaks of rage from his office.
🦋After a couple minutes, it began to quiet down, giving you a sign that it was safe to enter his office now. Opening the door to his office, you saw the mayhem that was now his office space. Papers had scattered the floor, some clothes were throw on the ground and broken pieces of glass were scattered everywhere on the floor. In the middle of the room was a giant red smoke cloud, likely containing the moth himself. You could see him a bit through the smoke, wearing a scowl, but his eyes were closed.
🦋You didn't say a word, and just started to clean up the mess. Valentino peeked his eye out to look at you, and closed it again. After fixing his clothes and throwing away the shards of glass, you picked up the papers, assembling them in a stack and walk over to his desk. Placing them down, you looked up at the moth man in front of you. He was still wearing a scowl, while muttering little curses under his breath. "Umm..Mr. Valentino?", calling out his name, you approached a bit closer, to where you were standing near his chair. Valentino opened his eyes, flashing crimson at you. "What is it?" his tone was still agitated, and his eyes were glaring at you.
🦋You fiddled with your fingers for a bit, then you slowly got closer to him, wrapping your arms around him in a hug. He was very tall, but since he was sitting down, it was easier for you to place your arms around his back, putting you head next to his neck Valentino let out a little squeak in shock, his multiple arms jumping up, which caused the pipe in one of his hands to drop to the ground. "Oh~ You looking to play gatita?" You could tell he was smirking at what you were doing. You shook your head, "I'm not doing this to have sex with you. I'm giving you a hug to cheer you up." Valentino was quiet after you said that. You were about to let go, thinking you made him more upset, but you felt his arms pull you closer, lifting you up to have you sit on his lap. His head bent down as well, leaning closer to your neck.
🦋None of you had said a word, as you continued to hug each other. You felt a pair of lips kiss your neck, giving you goosebumps. Slowly Valentino removed his head from your neck. His two hands moved to push you back, before placing the both of them on your cheeks. He was wearing a very tender expression, it was quite a surprise to see since you only saw him with a smirk or glare. "Gracias hermosa." Leaning down, he placed a kiss on your forehead, causing you to blush.
🦋His attitude with you change entirely after that. He was still a horny bastard, but he cooled it down for you. He wanted you with him at all times, either next to you or sitting on his lap. Vox took a notice to how different Valentino was being, but he didn't question it, since it saved him time and prevented him from having to come and calm Valentino down himself. Valentino began to send you little gifts as well, you expected something erotic like vibrators, but surprisingly, you got roses and beautiful jewelry. He started addressing you by your name more, or he would called you "hermosa" like he did when he kissed your forehead. Welp, looks like you have a giant moth demon attracted to you now.
~END~
(Sorry no Velvette in this headcanon. It is hard for me to write her character. Maybe i'll do a separate headcanon for just Velvette when I have time)

more slimecicle for you little freaks he's so fun to write
"i swear you won't even know i'm there," charlie pleaded with you from the bed. he watched as you sat at your desk, working on a project you needed to finish before the night was over.
"between my thighs? yeah, charlie, i'm sure," you said with a roll of your eyes.
"please," he asked again. his voice was dripping with desperation, making it hard to say no.
but you were strong, determined to finish your tasks on time. "baby, you know i love when you get like this, and ordinarily i'd let you, but i need to stay focused," you replied sweetly. you heard him get off the bed and listened as his footsteps led him to kneel down next to you in your chair.
he looked up at you with wide, lustful eyes and took your hand gently. "please," he begged. he looked pathetic. the fact that it was you he was craving, you he wanted to taste so bad? it overrode any shred of reason and made your brain short circuit.
"charlie, baby," you sighed, taking back your hand and using it to cup his face. "can you give me, like, twenty minutes? to be productive? and then you can sit under my desk while i wrap it up, how does that sound?"
his face lit up as he nodded fervently, his eagerness to please you apparently more consuming than his desire to devour you. you patted his head, smiling softly at him before turning back to work on your task. "gonna set a timer?" he asked quietly after a moment.
you huffed, feigning annoyance, and pulled out your phone, setting and showing him a timer. he nodded again and adjusted himself, shifting on his legs as he waited patiently for the time to run out.
five minutes in, he was fiddling with a hair tie you lent him months ago. he wore it every day, it reminded him of you and how infatuating you were. it had become such a staple in his everyday wardrobe that he felt naked whenever he was without it. you glanced at him, noticing how he wrapped the elastic around his fingers again and again until unraveling it and repeating the process. you guessed it was helping him cope with not being located between your soft thighs.
halfway through, you softly let him know how much longer he had to go. he hummed quietly in response, moving to sit in a different position. he tried not to draw attention to himself as he squeezed his thighs together, embarrassingly desperate for your touch, but you noticed out of the corner of your eye and smiled. he was already making it hard to concentrate on this, and he wasn't even doing anything.
fifteen minutes down, he was leaning against your desk, head tilted back ever so slightly. you tried so hard not to stare at the tent between his legs; you only had five minutes left to get as much done as possible. he was surely daydreaming about you at this point, whimpers leaving his mouth whenever his groin twitched. he always looked downright pitiful when he got like this, and you adored how bad he wanted you. nothing ever made you feel as desired as charlie did.
when the timer went off, you still had a sizeable chunk of work that needed to get done. but, you had made a promise, and he jumped up at the alarm. pawing at the chair you were in, he mumbled, "please, please," until you sighed and gave in, scooting back to let him crawl under the desk. he shuffled in excitedly, not even grunting in pain when he hit his head on the underside.
you gasped softly as he pulled your bottoms off, leaving you bare for all of two seconds before he planted a sloppy, open mouthed kiss to your core. he spread your thighs open a bit more and shoved his face in, burying his tongue deep in you while his nose brushed up against your clit repeatedly.
you closed your eyes and let the noises spill from your lips, forgetting momentarily about the work that needed to be done. he just kept going, licking and sucking, and after a while of constant stimulation, you wondered if he was even breathing. a bit later, you remembered you weren't done, and you tried to get back to doing work, but the never-ending barrage of kisses to your dripping cunt made that impossible.
"god, fuck, charlie, this is why i said no," you grumbled. "need to finish this shit so bad and i just can't with you doing this."
he made a noise into your pussy, sending vibrations rippling through your body. your hips stuttered forward, thighs closing against his face and trapping him there. he moaned again, apparently enjoying the suffocation, and wrapped his arms around your legs, pushing them closer against him.
you were loud at this point, work long forgotten as you squeezed your legs against his head, cooing out praises. "ohhh, good boy, charlie," you sang. "fuck, you make me feel so fuckin' good. what a good boy f'me." he somehow became more ravenous and pushed you closer towards the edge, moaning and whimpering into your heat as he worked tirelessly to make you cum. it was all for you, always, every time. he loved making you feel good, he felt sometimes it was the very reason he existed.
when you came, you tangled your hands in his hair, pulling tightly and bringing him impossibly closer. he relished in your screams, savoring the "good boy!" you let out one last time before releasing all over his face. he kept going for a bit, testing you, seeing how much overstimulation you could take, before finally pulling away when you told him to.
you scooted back to let him out from under the desk, but he didn't emerge until a few minutes later, chest heaving as he tried to catch his breath. when he finally stood up, a dark stain stood out on his clothed crotch, evidence that he had enjoyed this just as much as you. you teased him for it, offering to help, but he just shook his head.
"all i needed was to taste you," he panted before leaning down to kiss you. the taste of yourself on his lips was intoxicating, and you hopped up to start a shower for the both of you so you could have a cozy night in bed, the work you so desperately needed to finish sitting abandoned still on the monitor.

Part 4: “Mountain Man”
You were running for your life.
Blood dripped down into your line of vision, but you swept it away from your face with a haphazard hand, along with your tears as you nearly stumbled on the path.
A gunshot rang in your ears and hit a tree instead of your head.
Shit! You screamed and ducked, but you kept running…
Tumblr media
After you tumbled down the hill, it was a small mercy that you didn’t break any bones when you eventually landed at the bottom. You’d stared up at the sky, winded, your back aching. Until you noticed Rick, one of Eddie’s men. He was sliding down the hill after you.
You didn’t know what happened to your brother after he attempted to push you out of harm’s way. That thought alone gripped your heart like a vice, but you knew you couldn’t stay here on the ground either.
You forced your body to move, whimpering at the pain and stiffness. Shakily you pushed onto your feet and slipped on dead leaves as you went. You moved your legs faster, until you were able to take off running deeper into the forest.
Tumblr media
You gasped when your foot caught on a large rock. It sent you crashing into the ground. With your hands still bound, it made pushing yourself back up that much more difficult.
You spat out a couple of leaves. Fuck…
When Rick caught up to you, fear made you jolt into action. You wrapped your gathered hands around the rock that felled you and tossed it at him with all the strength you had. He blocked the projectile with the same hand that held his gun, like an idiot. You really couldn’t be blamed when the gun went off in his face.
He screamed, and so did you on reflex. Though his cheek and brow had been grazed by the bullet, he was lucky he still had both eyes. He blinked a bit of blood out of his left one. You scrambled back onto your feet and meant to keep running, but Rick still managed to surge forward and get a hold of your hair.
Uttering a short scream, you grabbed his shirt and kneed him as hard as you could between the legs. You hoped you crushed his dick and balls.
“Oh, f—” He went down to the ground, sinking onto his knees as he dropped his gun. He glared up at you. “You little bitch!”
You were panting for breath, but you didn’t wait for him to recover and grab his weapon again.
You ran.
You ran, even though you had no idea where you were going. You just knew that you couldn’t stay in one place. But if you couldn’t find your way around a college campus, how the hell were you supposed to navigate the damn Medicine Bow National Forest?
Along with your desperation and fear, tears kept filling your eyes whenever you thought of Charlie.
Please, please, please…
Tumblr media
“Goddamn, they could be anywhere,” Russell groused, as he and Colter hiked through the forest. He was, admittedly, breathing a bit harder from the trek uphill. “It’s been hours already.”
“It’s barely been an hour,” Colter reminded him. And he didn’t look winded in the least.
Bastard. Russell glanced at him, but then he focused on the horizon. The sun was finally starting to come up, which was good for them. They could see the trails more clearly.
“Remember when Dad used to make us free-climb the cliffs in Sierra?” Russell asked.
“Yeah,” Colter said. “You used to beat me every time. Wonder what happened to that guy.”
His tone was teasing. Russell shot him a look, half annoyed, and half amused.
“Yeah, well, he turned 40,” Russell replied.
Colter smiled, but both of them paused when they heard a gunshot ring out, followed by two more.
“That was close,” he said.
“Yeah,” Russell agreed, drawing his own gun. Colter did the same, and they hurried up a roaming hill that had Russell briefly peering over the side. In his mind’s eye, he had to shutter away the memory of seeing a body flung over the side in the dark and the rain. Then him looking over the edge of that cliff and recognizing his father’s twisted body.
And Colter, shouting up at him with angry, tearful, accusing eyes.
A male groan broke Russell out of his thoughts as he and his brother came up on a grim scene. Two men laid dead, and another young man with dark hair was lying prone on the ground, clutching his wounded leg. He’d been shot, though a gun also was held tightly in his own hand. He aimed it at the newcomers.
“Charlie?” Colter asked. He recognized the other man from your family photos.
Charlie blinked up at him in surprise, but not without a grim set to his jaw.
“Who the hell are you?” he asked.
Russell let out a subtle breath. Colter was relieved as well.
“I’m Colter. This is my brother, Russell,” he said. “Your sister asked for our help to find you.”
Charlie’s eyes widened. All of them slowly lowered their weapons. Russell gestured at the bodies lying yards away from him.
“I’m guessing one of those guys is Eddie Mendez?” he said.
Charlie nodded, gesturing at the man closest to him with his gun. He groaned at the agony in his right thigh. Colter quickly went to his side and began to wrap a tourniquet around his leg to stem the bleeding.
“Did the bullet go through?” Colter asked.
“I think so,” Charlie replied.
“Where’s your sister?” Russell asked, his impatience evident in his stance and the way he held his gun while scanning his surroundings. His frown deepened when he didn’t see you.
“Oh, fuck!” Charlie said, and not at the pain of Colter wrapping his leg. His eyes were wide with panic. “Rick’s after her. I clipped him, but he slipped by me.”
“Where?” Russell asked. Charlie pointed down the side of the hill.
“Down there. Headed north I think, but I’m not sure,” he said quickly. “Help her, please!”
Russell didn’t need any encouragement. He started down the hill first.
After making sure Charlie was stable for now, Colter followed after his brother a few minutes later.
Tumblr media
Russell called your name as he searched through the dense trees. Sunlight was beginning to filter through their leaves in dappled color on the trail. It gave him a better view ahead.
He stopped short when he saw a splatter of blood on the ground, painting the dirt and some dead leaves. A well of unease rose in his gut.
He headed toward the sound of running water, and he soon found another cliff. Just beyond it was a waterfall, and river below. Seeing no signs of life, he pulled back and continued to call your name, and all the while, pushing down his worry.
“Russell?!”
He turned sharply to see you coming out of your hiding place—a large fallen tree. A smile started to raise his lips, but no sooner had he taken one step in your direction, when he almost got a bullet in his head for his trouble.
“Watch out!” you yelled. Rick came out into the clearing and aimed at you next.
“Get down!” Russell shouted.
Without blinking, he shot Rick three times: once in the shoulder, twice in the chest.
The man went down. He was dead before he even met the ground.
It was then that Colter finally caught up. Russell nodded at him, but his focus was on heading for the fallen tree after he stowed his gun.
The moment he took a step over it, you popped up with a yell, ready to smack him with a tree branch. He leaned back raised up his hands in defense.
“Whoa, hey, it’s okay! It’s just me, slugger,” he said with a grin.
You let out a sharp sigh of relief. The branch fell from your loose fingers. As you caught your breath, your mouth trembled, and your eyes filled with tears at the sight of him.
Russell softened. He reached for you.
“Come ‘ere,” he said. Your hands slipped into his, and he helped you over the trunk of the tree. After using his handy pocketknife to cut through the zip ties binding your wrists together, you landed right into his waiting embrace. There, you spilled hot tears into his bulletproof vest.
“It’s okay, sweetheart. I’ve gotcha,” he said. His voice was low and soothing. “You’re okay.”
You raised your head with a desperate question in your eyes.
“Charlie?” you asked.
“Charlie’s okay too,” Russell assured. His hand soothed over your tangled hair and down your back. He could feel you trembling as you rested against him and sobbed. He held you tight, safe, as he rocked you a little from side to side. His own relief was a weight off his chest.
Colter stood by and watched with a secret smile.
Tumblr media
With his bare hands clawing into damp soil, Colter dug up the crate Charlie buried near the base of the waterfall. True to his word, it was filled with precious artifacts.
“Just, please be careful,” you warned him again over his shoulder. “These are quite literally hundreds of years old.”
Before Colter could assure you, again, that he’d be careful, you actually set a hand on his shoulder and implored him to move back.
“Matter of fact, sorry, let me do this part,” you said. “I’m the only one who’s really trained to handle these. Plus, your hands are dirty.”
Colter raised a brow, but he obliged you. He glanced over at his brother. Russell just watched in amusement while you opened the crate.
You wished you had gloves on for this, but you supposed it couldn’t be helped. You stopped just shy of touching them—a bow and arrow, three spears, and a couple of knives. Each were crafted with wood and bone, with designs carved and accented in faded red and blue.
“Wow,” you whispered. Your historian heart was singing right now.
You made sure each artifact was intact and hadn’t sustained water damage, then you covered them back up with the lid to the crate.
“Okay, now you can take it, thank you. This thing is heavy,” you said, with a pat on Colter’s shoulder.
His lips played at a smile, but he accepted the responsibility of carrying the crate.
Russell rested a hand on the small of your back to subtly help you back up the hill. You couldn’t help walking closer with him, your arm brushing against his side. You glanced up at him with a smile. He matched you, then looked up ahead.
Charlie was waiting for you all while leaning against a tree. He still looked like utter hell—cut up, bruised, bloody, and now shot in the leg. You went to his side and gently grabbed his arm.
“God, Charlie. You sure you’re okay?” you asked. He curled an arm around your shoulders and flashed you a familiar grin.
“Oh, yeah. I’m like a cockroach. Just keep coming back,” he said.
You had to agree with that, laughing through the spark of your tears. Russell came on his other side and shouldered most of your brother's weight off his bad leg.
“Okay, here we go. One step at a time,” Russell said.
Slowly, painfully, Charlie managed to make it back to Colter’s truck with you and Russell supporting him. Colter brought up the rear with the artifacts in tow.
And behind you all, the sun broke more fully across the dewy trees in a morning swathed with orange and gold.
Tumblr media
After Colter drove you and Charlie to the hospital, he and Russell took off again soon after to do something with the three bodies hidden under a tarp in the bed of the pickup truck. The thought made you shudder, along with the fact that the Shaw brothers knew how to hide bodies.
But you supposed it was better than the alternative.
As it was, you, Colter, and Charlie had to lie to the hospital staff about how you both had earned your injuries—in a brutal mugging, where Colter was able to scare off the men that got the jump on you and Charlie.
"I never saw their faces," as he'd later told the police, while the nurses prepped him for surgery. "I just tried to protect my sister the best I could."
You backed him up on the story, even as the lie felt bitter on your tongue and made you nervous (especially when you thought of poor Dr. Feinman).
Despite that little break-in at the museum yesterday, you'd never been good at being a rule breaker. Fortunately, Colter's calmness when he gave his corroborating statement helped you. Like Russell, he was a solid, anchoring presence...if in a different way.
For the crate of relics, Colter advised Charlie to ship them back to the museum anonymously. It would be the easiest way to encourage the police to lose steam on looking for who took them in the first place. You and your brother begrudgingly agreed, even if you had a secret thought of sending the artifacts to the NMAI. Maybe you could convince Charlie to send them there instead, or to one of the local Native American tribes here in Wyoming.
Hours later, however, you were able to finally be with your brother when he came out of surgery. In that time, your own bruises and the cut above your brow had been tended to in the Emergency Department. Now, you sat by his bedside while he slept off the anesthesia. You stroked his scuffed hand on the bed.
He really was a mess, you thought, as a tear rolled down your cheek. But he was alive. That was what mattered now.
A quiet knock at the door had you looking up, and then smiling to see Russell.
“Hey,” you said quietly, and in surprise. “Everything…went well?”
Russell’s lips quirked. “Yeah, we’re all set.”
No one would be finding those bodies anytime soon. He had a buddy in Denver, Colorado who happened to be a cremator. It was only a couple hours over from Laramie. He and Colter had just gotten back from driving the bodies there.
Before Colter drove over to Dory's apartment next, both to check on her and to fill her in on everything, he'd dropped Russell off at your house so he could get his car. He hadn’t felt right about leaving you in the hospital by yourself, even if you did have your brother.
Not without saying goodbye, at least.
“You know, I need to ask his doctor a question about his post-op care,” you said, gesturing at Charlie. “Can you stay with him for a minute while I go find a nurse?”
“Sure,” Russell agreed. You smiled gratefully and touched his arm as you passed him.
When you were gone, it left a heavy silence in your wake. Russell looked over at Charlie’s sleeping form. Russell sighed and sunk down into the chair beside the bed. He rubbed his tired face with both hands.
Shit. Now that he thought about it, he could’ve just told Colter to bring Dory here. He pulled out his phone to call his sister, when a low groan caught his attention.
Aw geez. What kinda timing, Russell thought, as he realized Charlie was waking up. His eyes slowly slid open, brows furrowing at the bright lights above him, then at the man beside him.
“Hey, man,” Russell said. “You’re okay. You’re in the hospital.”
“Yeah, I figured,” Charlie said, with another groan as he tried to stretch his body. He found he couldn’t yet move his leg. As awareness blinked back into his eyes, he settled on Russell with resignation.
“Thank you,” he said. “What you did for me, for her…I sure as hell didn’t deserve it, but thank you for saving her.”
Russell shook his head. “No need. Just get better.”
“Yeah. The doc says in a few months, I’ll be able to learn how to walk again,” Charlie said.
Russell gave him a firmer look.
“No, I mean get better,” he said. “You know you nearly got your sister killed.”
Charlie’s gaze fell. His face tightened, but really, he couldn’t even be upset at the accusation. He knew it was true, and his guilt already threatened to consume him. He also knew he should be in jail for what he’d done, and what he’d facilitated for months. After what nearly happened in the past twenty-four hours, he wasn’t sure how you could ever forgive him.
“Look, I served too. I know what you’re going through, being back here,” Russell said. “It feels wrong and right, don’t it?”
After a beat, Charlie nodded. “What branch?”
“Special Ops. I hear you were a pilot, Captain.”
“Yeah, I was,” Charlie said, his eyes lowering. “Now…now I don’t know what I am.”
“You’re her brother,” Russell said. Both his tone and his gaze all but demanded that the other man look him in the eyes. “Not her father or her son, her brother. I know you’ve been struggling. But I think you already know what you need to do, and figure out who you’re gonna be today, tomorrow, and the next.”
Charlie took in those words, and tried not to chafe at them coming from a near stranger. He knew, deep down, that all of it was right.
You came in a moment later with two cups of coffee. You brightened with a gasp when you saw that Charlie was awake.
“Hey.” He found a smile for you. You gave Russell the coffee you’d brought for him, but you quickly set yours down on the rolling tray so you could sit beside your brother.
Russell stepped out to give you two some privacy. You thanked him again and watched him go. Then, you turned back to Charlie with a tearful smile.
“How’re you feeling?” you asked.
“Have I said how much I love morphine?” Charlie remarked.
You rolled your eyes and took his hand in yours. “Yeah, how can I forget your thing for hard drugs.”
That hit sharper than a mere joke. His eyes fell away from yours. You sighed and bit your lip.
“I’m sorry,” you said. Charlie shook his head and covered your hand with his.
“No, I’m sorry. For everything I’ve put you through. And I don’t just mean today,” he said. “I’m going to make it up to you.”
“All that matters is that you’re here, and you’re going to be fine,” you said. “I’ve already put together a list of what you’re going to need when we bring you home—”
Charlie stopped you with a squeeze of your hand.
“I’m not going home just yet,” he said.
“Well, no, not until they discharge you, but—”
Again, he gently cut you off. “You were right. I need treatment, and not just for this damn leg.”
He swept a hand through his hair and sighed.
“When they let me out of here, I’m going back to rehab,” he said. “After that, we’ll see.”
 Tears stung in your eyes…but you nodded in relief. You held both of his hands then.
“You’re not doing this alone,” you told him. “I’ll be with you, every step.”
 Charlie let out a self-deprecating chuckle. He felt he didn’t deserve that, but he smiled at you.
“I know. You’ll be nagging me in my head, even when you’re not there,” he said. You smirked and brushed his greasy hair away from his face.
“Damn straight,” you replied. “I’ve finally become Mom.”
Charlie shook his head in amusement, but he leveled you with a pointed finger.
“But for now, you need to go home and get some rest,” he said.
You reluctantly agreed with that too. After a full twenty-four hours without sleep, you realized that you were exhausted. You leaned over and pressed a kiss to his cheek.
“I love you,” you said. “I’ll come back to see you tomorrow.”
“Good. Love you too,” said Charlie. His eyelids were starting to droop from the pain medication, but he forced himself to stay awake for a little while longer. He even helped you back onto your feet with a guiding hand on your back. “Wait, is someone staying with you tonight? I don’t want you to be alone.”
You grabbed up your purse. “Don’t worry. I think I’ve got that covered.”
Your brother quirked a suspicious smile at the look on your face. The one you tried to hide from him when you noticed his scrutiny.
“What, is it one of those guys who helped us?” he asked. “Is it the blonde one—Ken doll? Or the mountain man?”
Of course he knew their names, but he just wanted to mess with you. He could already see you getting flustered while you twisted the strap of your purse between your fingers and glanced at the door.
 “What? No! Just go to sleep. Take advantage of the morphine while you’ve got it,” you said. “Don’t worry. I’ll call Dory.”
Charlie leveled you with a look. “Mhmm.”
He pulled the blanket higher on his chest and watched you leave. When the door swung open, he saw Russell leaning against the wall, waiting for you.
Charlie huffed. He should’ve known.
Okay, mountain man.
That was the last thought he had before he drifted off.
Tumblr media
You left your brother’s room just about overwhelmed with a maelstrom of emotions. However, the moment you saw Russell waiting for you, leaning against the wall with his hands in his pockets, it all distilled into one simple thing.
He met your gaze and started to smile.
You smiled back, and you went to him.
You reached up to frame his face with both hands, and you searched for something in his eyes. They were tinged with surprise, but he waited on you, wondering what you were about to do.
When you thought you found what you were looking for, you raised up on your toes and pressed your lips to his.
His hands unconsciously found your waist and held you to him. He met your lips in kind, and even deepened the connection. Your fingers slipped into his hair, lightly dragging your nails against his scalp. He hummed in pleasure.
When your lips eventually parted from his, it was still too soon, he thought. Russell stared down at you with a question in his eyes—one he couldn’t help voicing.
“What was that for?” he asked.
“Thank you,” you whispered. “Thank you for everything.”
Ah… Russell’s smile evened out and faded slightly.
So that was just a gesture of gratitude. He hoped you didn’t decide to thank Colter that way.
“You don’t need to thank me,” Russell said. “I’m glad Charlie’s all right.”
“No, I do need to. So thank you,” you said. Your hands drifted down his chest, plucking at the edge of his jacket.
“I don’t really want to be alone today, to be honest,” you admitted. “Would you…want to…keep me company for a while? You could rest up at my place.”
Russell’s brows raised. His lips curved.
“Well, sure. I could do that. Your couch seemed pretty comfortable,” he said.
“You don’t have to stay on the couch,” you replied.
And then, Russell finally read your meaning. He saw it in your eyes, staring up at him through your lashes.
Maybe that kiss was exactly what he thought it meant. His smile became more genuine.
“Well, okay,” he said eventually. He wrapped an arm around your waist. “Let’s get you home then.”
You leaned against his side and gave him a lazy salute. “Aye, aye, Captain.”
He shook his head. His smile deepened into a grin.
“You’re a little delirious, aren’t you?” he asked.
“Probably need some water,” you said with a giggle. “And God, I’m starving.”
Russell laid a gentle kiss to the side of your head that wasn’t bruised.
“All right, we’ll take care of that too,” he said.
“You know what I’m craving?” you asked. He looked down at you questioningly, and again he found your smile.
“Sriracha fries,” you said.
Russell busted out laughing at that. He fist-pumped the air with his free hand.
“Hell, yeah.”
For that, and much more, he would count today as a win.
Tumblr media
AN: There we go! A nice fluffy finish for you. How did you like how Charlie's arc wrapped up, along with her reunion with Russell? 💜
But just wait. We're not quite done yet...
Next Time:
He took in your hesitant face, then the pretty dress you had on. The color matched your eyes. Soulful eyes.
He smiled when you let him see them again.
“Can you see the bruises? I think I covered them up well enough,” you said. You turned to look at yourself in the mirror again, touching your jaw carefully.
Russell’s hand raised to find your cheek, earning your attention with wider eyes. His thumb swept across your skin as you started to blush.
“You’re beautiful,” he said with a smile. “Don’t you worry about that.”
Your face warmed further, despite your smile.
“Yeah, the makeup helps,” you quipped.
“I didn’t say anything about makeup,” he replied. Though he grinned and made a show of looking closer at your face. “Although, have your lashes always been that damn long?”
You laughed, but he didn’t let go of you.

Friends to lovers trope with Charlie Dalton? 😁
Tumblr media
The crisp autumn air clung to Welton Academy as another day of classes ended. The sky was just starting to dim, painted in soft hues of orange and pink as the sun dipped below the horizon. You were lounging on the grass near the courtyard with Todd Anderson, who had recently joined your little circle of friends. The campus buzzed with life, but you and Todd sat in comfortable silence, watching as Charlie Dalton animatedly spoke to Neil Perry a few feet away.
Your eyes, however, weren’t following the conversation between Charlie and Neil. Instead, they were focused entirely on Charlie—his broad gestures, his laughter that rang out like music, and the way the fading sunlight made his messy hair look almost golden. You didn’t even realize you were staring until Todd broke the silence.
“Are you two… dating?”
You blinked and whipped your head toward him, startled. “What? Who?”
Todd tilted his head slightly, looking between you and Charlie. “You and Charlie.”
Your cheeks instantly flushed. “No! No, no, no. That’s absurd. Charlie? Eww, no. Never. Absolutely not!”
Todd’s lips curled into a small, amused smile as he raised his eyebrows. “Okay…”
You crossed your arms defensively, suddenly hyper-aware of the fact that your heart had picked up its pace. But you weren’t blushing because of Charlie… right?
Later that evening, after most of the boys had wandered off to their dorms, you found yourself alone with Charlie in the common room. He was lounging on one of the worn-out couches, casually flipping through a book, while you sat nearby, trying to focus on your own reading. But your mind kept wandering to Todd’s words from earlier, replaying the conversation in your head until you couldn’t hold it in anymore.
“You know what’s funny?” you said, looking over at Charlie.
Charlie glanced up from his book, intrigued. “What?”
You grinned, the corners of your mouth twitching in amusement. “Todd thought we were dating.”
Charlie’s eyes widened, his usual confident composure faltering. “What? He thought we were dating?”
You let out a soft laugh, nodding. “Yeah, can you imagine? You and I? Together?”
Charlie blinked, the idea clearly taking him by surprise. He chuckled, though it seemed a bit nervous. “That’s… hilarious.”
A silence settled between you two, but it wasn’t awkward. It was charged—filled with something unspoken, something that made the air feel heavier. You bit your lip, trying to figure out where this sudden tension was coming from. Then, before you could stop yourself, the question tumbled out.
“Can you picture it, though?”
Charlie’s book slid from his lap, hitting the floor with a soft thud. He stared at you, as if trying to process what you had just asked. His lips parted, but no words came out at first. Then, after what felt like an eternity, he spoke, his voice softer than you’d ever heard it.
“I… I don’t know. Maybe?”
Your heart skipped a beat, your breath catching in your throat. “Maybe?”
Charlie shifted, suddenly sitting up straighter, the playful smirk that usually adorned his face gone. “Yeah. I mean… I never thought about it. But now that you mention it…” He trailed off, his eyes searching yours. “Can you picture it?”
You swallowed hard, feeling the weight of his gaze. For the first time, the possibility didn’t seem so absurd. “Maybe.”
His smile returned, softer this time. He scooted closer, his voice barely above a whisper. “So… what if we tried?”
The world around you seemed to slow down. Your heart was pounding so loudly that you were sure he could hear it. “Tried?”
Without saying another word, Charlie leaned in, his eyes fluttering closed just as his lips brushed yours in the softest, sweetest kiss. It was tentative at first, like both of you were afraid of breaking the delicate moment. But then, as if a dam had broken, the kiss deepened, full of all the unspoken feelings you didn’t even realize you’d been holding onto.
When you finally pulled apart, both of you were breathless, your foreheads pressed together.
“I can’t believe I’m kissing you,” Charlie whispered, his lips quirking into a small grin.
You rolled your eyes, laughing softly before pulling him back in, capturing his lips in another kiss. “Shut up, Charlie.”
And just like that, the kiss turned from a soft peck into something more, something that felt inevitable, as if you had both been waiting for this moment all along. The world outside faded away, leaving just the two of you in your own little bubble, discovering a connection you never knew you wanted—but now couldn’t imagine being without.

Listen. We need to put emphasis and appreciate Charlie’s characterization of his QSMP character because holy shit, on top of being silly, today has provided so much depth to Q!Charlie as a whole.
It’s heart wrenching outside humor when you think about it.
“Your marriage is not strengthened by good nights, or good sex, it is tested by people like me, who come to cause problems.”
This dialogue to Roier puts Mariana’s cheating allegations into perspective. Whether it’s canon that he did or didn’t, it tells us how much Charlie has forgiven and given him a chance.
People like me, is such a heavy emphasis on his self-awareness that he is toxic and problematic and insanity. Subtle self-deprecating at its finest, just to emotionally scar us further.
Charlie always being a willing participant to cause problems on purpose is an effect of not having anything to lose anymore. Juanaflippa is gone, and he hasn’t seen Mariana in a while. He has been severely lonely and isolated since his exile, and he is numb to it that he “doesn’t feel anything”, according to what he told Foolish.
“Necesito amor.” [I need love.]
But that doesn’t mean he doesn’t need or want love. He desperately does, by all means necessary, even if it’s by being a willing participant to cause problems to others. He’ll take what he can get because he hasn’t moved on and won’t let go of his daughter being gone.
He did once believe that Mariana could fix him, I think he said this to Jaiden after the trial was over and done with. He believed this because Mariana is someone who can ground him and keep him from doing something incredibly stupid.
They ground each other. It’s evident during the funeral, with Mariana offering that they kill themselves and Charlie saying no, and then vice versa. It’s not a coincidence that he is more “tamed” when Mariana’s with him.
Things that happen when Charlie is by himself: makes a deal with Satan to get his daughter a gun, attempting to slaughter all the eggs, refuses to resurface back up in the mines during exile, suggesting the gegg idea to Quackity and executing it, and now this.
Without Mariana, Charlie is out there by himself, not knowing how to deal and handle his grief, his loneliness and isolation, his desperation for love.
And to think none of this would’ve happened if Cellbit just kept his fucking mouth shut and didn’t remind him of their kiss LMAOOO
We can all say Charlie is being a menace, but y’all gotta be reminded that the man is a D&D player. He sprinkles such hard hitting dialogues in between the laughs.
Charlie is killing me with the potential angst he just brought to the table. I am going insane NSJDJSJDJS

Beyond the Sea | Luke Castellan | III
Tumblr media
Pairing: Luke Castellan x Unclaimed Poseidon Daughter!Reader
Warnings: angst, fluff, slow burn flashbacks, established relationship present day, Gods being terrible parents
Series Masterlist Taglist
“Luke.” You whispered, trying not to wake any of the other campers. “You awake?”
“Yeah,” He whispered back. “You okay?”
You had been at Camp for a few months now and Luke was already accustomed to being woken up from you jolting out of bed after a nightmare. He joked that some mornings he would nearly be thrown out of the top bunk.
“I didn;t have a nightmare, I just can’t sleep.” Your voice trailed off at the end. Within a second Luke was out of the top bunk, his feet hitting the hard wood made a loud sound that made you jump.
“What’s wrong?” He asked. You sat up in the bed and he came to sit next to you.
“I just-” You started but struggled to find the words. “I don’t think I’ll be claimed.” After your few weeks at camp the topic of being claimed felt taboo, like everyone was thinking the same thing and nobody wanted to say it.
“You don’t know that.” He shook his head. “I knew a girl who got claimed after being here for almost a year. It can take time.”
“I’m tired of waiting.” You were too afraid to say anything negative about the gods while in one of their cabins. Especially the messenger god. “I just feel really alone.”
Luke didn’t say anything, he wrapped one arm around your shoulders and the other at the side of your head and pulled you into a hug.
When you woke up Percy was still asleep, you normally didn’t take too much to the new kids but you liked this one. You would be the first one to admit that you were jealous of the new arrivals seeing as most of them would be claimed within weeks. There was no point in becoming buddy-buddy with someone who would go off and get so wrapped up in their new siblings and godly parent that they forget all about you. Three years of radio silence from the gods had made you a little bitter. Luke would argue that maybe it was more than a little.
“I’m gonna take Percy around camp today,” Luke was slouched against the pillow in your bed. He grabbed one of his shoes and forcefully put it on. “Wanna come?”
“Get your shoes off of my bed.” You shoved his leg off the side of the bed, forcing him to sit up next to you. “And I’ll pass, Annabeth and I are gonna talk capture the flag.”
“Oh come on I thought you liked him?” Luke always tried to get you to join him but talking about nothing but getting claimed for 3 hours wasn’t your idea of fun.
“Not that much.” Before Luke could respond Percy sat up from his spot on the floor with a jolt. You had been asking Charlie Beckendorf, a Hephaestus camper, to make more bed frames for the cabin for months but it kept falling to the bottom of his priority list. Over the past few years the amount of kids in the Hermes cabin has grown faster than you could accommodate.
“You okay?” Luke asked as he rose to his feet.
“Super.” Percy groaned as he pulled himself off of the ground.
“We all have them, you know.” Luke was always the first to comfort new campers. “Intense, recurring nightmares. That's normal here. And the daydreams, and the ADHD, and dyslexia. Demigods just process reality differently than humans do. For the first time in your life, you're just like everyone else.”
“So are you also…” Percy said slowly. “Do you not know who your-”
“Am I unclaimed?” Luke finished for him. He glanced over at you instinctually. “No, Hermes is my father.” Like always mentioning Hermes made Luke stand up straighter. “That doesn't matter, we're all on the same team here.”
“I’m unclaimed.” You told Percy. “I’ve been here for 3 years.”
“Why is that okay?” He was talking directly to you now. “Why do they get to bring us here to just ignore some of us?”
“I’ve been asking myself that since the day I got here.” You couldn’t help but chuckle, he sounded exactly like you. “I get how you’re feeling but no matter what happens you’re gonna be fine.”
“Spend too much time trying to figure out why the gods do whatever it is they do, you'll drive yourself crazy.” Luke warned. “Sooner you stop worrying about that, the sooner you can enjoy what this place actually does offer.”
“And what's that?” Percy asked.
“Glory.” Luke smirked. “Demigods have always fought for glory. They used to call it kleos. It's like this stuff that attaches itself to your name. Makes it bigger, scarier, more important. People listen closer when you talk, they work harder to be your friend and they think twice about messing with you.” Before Luke could finish Clarisse passed by bumping Percy in the shoulder.
“Hey!” Percy exclaimed, causing Clarisse to quickly turn around and push him down to the ground.
“Woah!” Luke stepped up to Clarisse. “Hey. Knock it off, Clarisse. It's like his first day, come on.” You grabbed Percy’s arm and helped him up off the ground.
“Wait, so this is the kid who killed the Minotaur.” She had a devilish smile on her face. “Is that right?”
“Yeah?” Percy said cautiously.
“I'll bet. Look, you want attention around here, dummy? You better be ready for it when it comes.” Clarisse made a fake lunge for him, causing Percy to jump.
“Clarisse, let it go.” You chimed in. She glanced at you for a moment before turning away with her friends. You and Clarisse weren’t friends exactly, she wasn’t friends with anyone outside of her cabin, especially not an unclaimed kid, but you weren’t enemies. You got along well enough, you would spar together, you mutually respected each other. Every once in a while you might even have a few laughs at the campfire.
“Well, she seems nice.” Percy said flatly.
“Ares kids.” Luke sighed. “They come by it honestly.”
“Maybe she’ll grow on you.” You shrugged. “I kinda like her, then again she doesn’t bother me.”
“Why don't they mess with you?” Percy asked Luke.
“They know better.” Luke said proudly.
“Luke's the strongest swordsman at camp.” Chris explained.
“I’m second.” You chimed in. “For the record.”
“So, they leave you alone because ‘glory’?” Percy asked and Luke nodded. “So if I get glory, Clarisse wouldn't mess with me either?”
“Exactly.”
“And people think I'm a big deal?”
“Well, sorta, but-” Luke started.
“I don’t know about all that.” You said
“And my dad's got no choice but to claim me.” Percy finished. You and Luke sighed and looked at eachother. You understood his eagerness to be seen.
“You can't force the gods to do anything.” Luke told Percy gently.
“Believe me, I’d know. I tried.” You added.
“Well, yeah, but... it would make it harder for him to pretend I don't exist, right?”
“It’s worth a shot.” You shrugged.
“It is?” Luke swiveled to look at you.
“I mean it couldn’t hurt.” You just wanted to give the poor kid some hope.
“Great.” Percy perked up. “Where do we start?”
When you had nightmares you knew you were in a dream but that didn’t make it any less scary. You were on a beach, it was dark, the sky shades of purple and blue. There were storms; the waves were five times higher than your head. You were alone, the beach extended as far as your eyes could see. With nothing else to do you began walking down the beach. With every step your feet became heavier- wait, no- you were sinking. The sand was vibrating causing you to sink further and further into it. You were struggling to try to pull your feet out of the sand until you heard voices that made you freeze. Luke. Then Annabeth. Grover. Clarisse. And a young boy's voice that you didn’t recognize. You could make out each of their voices but not what they were saying. Their voices were frantic, they were calling for help, they were in danger. You fought harder but it only made you sink faster.
“Luke!” You screamed out just as your head went beneath the sand.
You woke up with a jolt gasping for air, panting, and drenched in sweat. You peered to the bunk above you to see if you had woken Luke but there was no movement. You pulled yourself out of bed as quietly as possible to not wake anyone. You debated waking Luke but decided against it. You slipped your shoes on and grabbed a jacket that you kept by your bed. As quietly as you could you tiptoed across the cabin and out the front door. You went out the door past the Hephaestus cabin, then Apollo, Ares, then Poseidon. Just as you were about to pass the mess hall a voice erupted from the silence of the night.
“Where do you think you’re going?” It was Luke.
“Oh my gods, Luke.” You nearly doubled over with shock. “You didn’t have to sneak up on me.”
“Why are you out here?” He came close to you, placing his hands on the sides of your arms. “It’s the middle of the night. It’s freezing.”
“I- I had another nightmare.”
“The same one?” He asked and you nodded. You had been at camp for almost a year now and had been having the same dream for almost six months. “Why are you out here?”
“I just needed fresh air, I guess.” You crossed your arms over your chest, honestly you didn’t know why you were out here.
Luke gave you a sympathetic smile.
“Okay let’s walk then.”
You and Luke walked together quietly for a while. You walked through the woods until you reached the Long Island sound. It was the same beach as the one in your dream but even in the dead of night it wasn’t as cold, as scary as it was in your dreams. Sometimes after a particularly bad night you would come here to remind yourself that it was just a dream. This was the first time Luke had come with you to the beach and it gave you much more comfort.
“This isn’t your first time out here is it?” Luke glanced at you with a smile, he knew the answer.
“No,” You chuckled. “I guess I find it relaxing.”
The two of you found a place to sit on the sand just above the tide. Luke sat to your left, your shoulders touching trying to conserve the little warmth between you. There was a silence between you that felt safe and comfortable. You rested your head on Luke’s shoulder and he rested his head against yours. You felt something cold touch the side of your hand and looked down to see Luke's hand inching closer to yours. It felt like you were moving in slow motion but eventually Luke had your hand clasped in his. You and Luke had always had a special relationship. From the second he found you in the cave and pulled you into his lap you were bonded. He gave you his bunk when you came to camp. Showed you around and always stayed at your side. Listened to you grovel about not being claimed day in and day out. You had hugged before but never held hands and it never felt like this before.
“You’re not alone.” Luke whispered to you. The sound of the waves and Luke’s voice were music to your ears. You were entranced, Luke was so close you could feel his breath on your cheek. The sun was just starting to peak over the horizon providing just enough light to bounce off of the water and reflect onto Lukes face. The light made his brown eyes glitter. You had never looked at Luke this way before. You were so close and millimeter by millimeter you were getting closer and closer-
“Oh!” You both exclaimed as the freezing cold water of the tide splashed up on you both, soaking you in sea water. Each of you rose to your feet eagerly running from the water before doubling over in laughter.
“Oh, that’s freezing!” You cried out through your laughs. When you finally caught your breath Luke was in front of you staring down at you seriously. “What is it?”
“I mean it,” He was breathing heavily. “You’re not alone here.”
“I know Luke,” You nodded. “But-,” Luke cocked his head, unsure of what else you had to say.
“I’ve been alone my whole life Luke. No parents, no family. Camp was where I was supposed to find that. But my parent couldn’t care less that I even exist.” You rambled.
“I know that you’re upset-” Luke tried but you cut him off.
“I’m not upset Luke. I’m angry!” You shouted. You felt your face turn hot with anger, your heart beat fast. “I’m furious that they would abandon me-”
“Y/n-” Luke tried but you kept going.”
“They would humiliate me, over and over. My entire life!” You were fuming, your blood boiling.
“Y/n!” He shouted.
“What!” You yelled back. Just now you realized that Luke wasn’t looking at you. He was looking behind you. You turned around to see a massive wave, 30 feet high, suspended behind you. Your anger turned to confusion and just as it did the wave came crashing down at your feet, returning to the sea like it was never there.
Feel free to leave feedback, suggestions, and headcannons in the inbox. I love incorporating your guy's ideas!

Hi! I was wondering if you could write an Angel Dust x reader (platonic). Where the reader is sad and just lying in their bedroom. And Angel Dust tries to give their friend some comfort and tries to make them feel better. Like maybe he does their makeup, they both dress up and go out into the city. And maybe Cherri Bomb joins them💗
Tumblr media
Title: Here, Always
Pairing: Angel Dust x reader (Platonic)
Word Count: ~2,716
In which Angel Dust comforts the reader after a hard day with a makeover and a fun night out.
A/N: Thank you for the request!! Not proofread, Pure fluff. Hope you enjoy <3
Warnings: cursing, ooc Angel Dust maybe, not too many descriptors about visual appearance just so everyone can have their own image
Pentagram City wasn’t exactly known for the kindness of its residence. Nor was it known for its tranquility or leisurely pace. It was, however, a fantastic place to be if you wanted your energy and your very willpower to be drained in only an afternoon.
You sighed against your pillow, ignoring the sensible voice in your head that told you to get up and out of bed. You had been lying there for hours, after all.
Unfortunately, a louder voice in your head continued to comfort and coddle you, reassuring you that it was okay for you to remain in bed until you felt whole again.
You liked that voice.
So you burrowed deeper into your blankets, allowing them to obscure you from view and block out the rest of the world in a last ditch attempt to pretend that you had some semblance of control over your life.
Oh, well. At least you were comfortable.
Your door opened with a bang. You shot upright.
“Heya, toots,” Angel Dust greeted as he stepped inside your room. “Charlie wants us to…” he trailed off when he saw your face. “Whatsa matta?”
You blinked in surprise. “What do you mean?”
His eyes roamed over your disheveled hair, your wrinkled clothes, and your unmade bed. “Nothin’, you just look a little…” he looked back up at your face. “Tired, is all.”
You narrowed your eyes. “What are you trying to say?”
Angel held up two hands in surrender, though his eyes kept scrutinizing your appearance. “Ya look like someone put you in a blenda and left the remains on ya bed,” he said bluntly.
You rolled your eyes and flopped back down on your bed, turning away from the spider demon. He was one of your closest friends here in Hell, sure, but that didn’t mean you wanted to stand up to take his insults.
You listened as his light footsteps approached you, but refused to face him even when your bed dipped to signify his presence.
A gentle hand began running its fingers through your hair. “Hey,” Angel said, his voice much softer than it had been mere moments ago. “Talk ta me. Whatsa matta?”
You wanted nothing more than to lean into his touch and lift yourself up so that your friend could give you one of his all consuming bear hugs. But you still couldn’t bring yourself to move any more than necessary.
“I don’t know,” you admitted quietly. “It’s just been a rough week. I’m tired, that’s all.”
Angel Dust chuckled softly. “Yeah, I get that. Trust me, I do.”
“I know,” you said, closing your eyes once again. “I wish I could kill that stupid moth for you.”
Your friend’s laugh grew louder, much to your content. “I know ya do,” Angel said, his hand still stroking your hair. “Thanks.”
You hummed in acknowledgment.
The two of you sat in silence for a moment, enjoying each other's company in a way that you were so rarely able to do with the continuous angelic threats and Charlie’s new ideas for redemption.
Suddenly, Angel’s hand stilled. “Ya know what always makes me feel betta on a night like this?” He didn’t wait for a response. “Goin’ out for the night.”
Your eyes remained closed. “We shouldn’t get drunk, Angel, it’s against Charlie’s ‘redemption pathway’.”
You yelped as Angel gave you a light swat on the arm. “I didn’t mean it like that. We just gotta getcha dressed up and pretty, and the two of us can hit the town and have some fun without worrying about our fucked up lives.”
Truthfully, you were intrigued. You had heard stories about Angel and Cherri Bomb’s midnight outings before his stay at the hotel, but you’d never been able to experience one for yourself. Not because you and Angel weren’t close, of course, but because nights out like that meant risking everything that you had been working for here at the hotel.
You cracked open one eye. “No drinking or drugs?”
“None,” Angel promised. “Unless you’re feelin’ especially rowdy.”
You ignored him. “No killing?”
“Not unless it’s self defense,” Angel vowed.
You opened your other eye. “Just us?”
The grin in Angel’s voice was evident. “Just you and me, doll face. Not Charlie, not Husk, not anyone else. Just us. Come on, it’ll be fun.”
You sat up slowly, propping yourself up against your headboard and glancing over at Angel Dust as you tried and failed to hide your growing excitement.
The two of you hadn’t had a chance to spend time together without one of the other members of the hotel since a year ago, when Lute had come back down to threaten Charlie and everything that she had built now that Adam was gone. Ever since then, all of you had been extra cautious. All except Alastor, of course, but that was to be expected.
The last time you had spent any time alone with Angel, the two of you had stayed up all night trading stories, both good and bad, about your lives here in Hell and your lives Before. Ever since then, the two of you had been both inseparable and insufferable. You’d even been Angel’s wingwoman when he had asked Husk on their first date.
You couldn’t stop the smile that spread across your face. “That could be fun,” you admitted.
Angel’s smile matched your own as he jumped up from your bed. “‘Course it does. Come on, we’ve gotta get you ready.”
Your smile dropped as you suddenly remembered your haphazard appearance. “I’m sure I can find something to wear-”
“Uh-uh,” Angel interrupted, shaking his head in disagreement. “If we’re goin’ out, we’re gonna do it right. Meet me in my room and I’ll see what I can do.”
You watched as he walked out confidently, throwing you a wink before he disappeared from your sight. You huffed out a laugh and buried your face in your hands.
The two of you would probably get in heaps of trouble with Charlie later, but if you got to experience one of Angel Dust’s famous night outs, it was going to be worth it.
~~~
You smiled as Angel Dust carefully ran a comb through your hair. You hummed mindlessly as he worked, his attention focused on getting his work done as quickly and efficiently as possible.
He had already dressed you in an outfit made to draw attention, and transformed your face with a bit of foundation, eye shadow, and blush. The only thing left was your hair, which Angel was being surprisingly gentle with.
You closed your eyes as you silently enjoyed the feeling of the comb running through the strands of your hair again and again. It reminded you of Before.
After a few moments, you opened your eyes again, looking into Angel’s vanity mirror. “I’m not questioning your skills at all, but you’ve been brushing my hair for a while now,” you said with a grin.
Angel met your eyes in the mirror, a sly smile growing on his face. “You looked like you were enjoying it, sugar. Who am I to take away that pleasure?”
Your smile softened. “I was enjoying it, actually. Thanks.”
The demon winked at you before placing the comb down and getting to work on styling your hair.
“So, where are we going?” you asked, trying to contain your eagerness. “We can go to a club without drinking, can’t we?”
Angel snickered. “Don’t get too excited, toots. If we’re gonna behave tonight, we’re gonna have to avoid some of my regular places.”
“You’ve basically been everywhere in Hell,” you countered. “I’m not worried. We’ll still have a good time.”
Angel stepped back, two hands on his hips as he admired his finished work. “You bet your ass we will. Now get up so we can get this party-”
The door to the bedroom flew open. You and Angel whirled around to face the newcomer as Cherri Bomb sauntered in without a care in the world.
“What’s up, bitches?” she called out as she entered. “I heard we were throwing a party.”
You recovered quickly, grinning back as you stood with your arms outstretched. “Hey, Cherri,” you greeted as you gave her a quick hug.
Angel Dust was close behind, wrapping his arms around his friend before releasing her and slinging an arm over her shoulders. “You heard right,” he said as he pulled her further into the room. “We’re gonna have an all out, hard core-”
You cleared your throat.
Angel stuck a finger in the air and plastered a false innocent smile on his face. “And responsible night around town.”
“Hell yeah! I’m in,” Cherri said before looking over at you. “Angel and I know all the best spots in this dump. Get your arse up and let’s get moving!”
“Wait, wait, hold on,” Angel said as he moved away from Cherri. “We were just gonna go out for a few drinks and some dancin’. Nothin’ too big. It was gonna be our night, ya’ know?” He hesitated before gesturing over to you. “Just the two of us.”
A stab of guilt tore through your chest as Cherri’s smile dropped. She was quick to hide it, though, pasting another grin on her face before waving her hand in indifference. “Whateva. Who needs you lot anyway? I’ll have my own night out and let you two know what you missed out on.”
As she turned away, you noticed the guilty grimace on Angel’s face.
You wanted nothing more than a day to spend time with one of your closest friends, but you knew that neither one of you would be able to enjoy your night with feelings of regret eating away at you. Besides, Cherri was another sinner who had always had your back and understood your past trauma. Why wouldn’t you want to share your night with her?
“Wait,” you called out before she could reach the door.
Both Cherri and Angel turned to face you.
You shrugged and gave a small smile. “The more the merrier, right? I bet three of us could cause a lot more trouble than just the two of us.”
Cherri’s smile grew. “That’s what I’m talkin’ about, bitches.”
Angel shot you a grateful look before clapping his hands together, a devious smirk growing on his face. “Alrighty then. Let’s get this party started.”
~~~
“How did you even know we were going out?” you asked Cherri Bomb as your small group staggered out of a bar. Your third bar of the night.
It probably hadn’t been the best idea to allow Cherri to create tonight’s itinerary, given the fact that you and Angel were two of the hotel’s best chances to prove that redemption was possible. You couldn’t say that you had ended the night with any regrets, though.
Cherri shrugged at your question and shot you a quick grin. “I always know when there's a party goin’ on. It’s like my special skill.” Her smile sharpened. “Well, besides being able to hold my liquor better than you lot.”
Angel shot her a wink as he draped an arm over your shoulder, gently leading your group back to the hotel. “Whateva’ ya say, babes. You comin’ back to the hotel with us?”
Cherri snorted and held her hands up as she backed away from you. “Back with Princess Redemption? Nah thanks, I’ve still got a few shots left in me. You two have fun, though.”
“Will do,” you said as Angel began leading you away.
“And let me know when the next party is,” Cherri shouted after you.
“We will,” Angel called back as he walked.
You looked up at him with a slight frown. “Are we in a rush? I feel like we’re rushing.”
Angel glanced down at you with a raised eyebrow. “What’dya ya talkin’ about?”
You looked back over your shoulder as Cherri disappeared into another building. “I don’t know. We’ve only been out a few hours, and we’ve only been to a few clubs. I thought-”
“You thought we were gonna go bat-shit crazy and ruin our progress?” Angel interrupted with a smirk on his face.
You laughed and shook your head. “No, I didn’t think we’d go that crazy. But I just thought…I don’t know. I guess I thought you’d want to spend more time with Cherri.”
Angel smiled. “You kiddin’? I love spendin’ time with her.”
“Then why did we leave so soon?”
Angel glanced down at you fondly, using his other hand to grasp one of yours so that you were walking hand in hand. “I meant what I said, toots. This is our day, you ‘n me. Sure, hangin’ out with Cherri’s great, but I don’t want you tryin’ to find happiness at the bottom of a bottle.”
You snorted, swinging your hands between you as you walked. “Happiness is me in my bed, Ange, not in a bar.”
Angel pulled you closer, his arm still around your shoulders. “Fair enough,” he said smoothly as he led the two of you back to the hotel.
The two of you walked in comfortable silence for a moment. Demons turned to stare, of course, and some stopped to take pictures. You were walking with the Angel Dust, after all. But even with the extra attention, the two of you felt a sense of peace that had grown almost foreign to you both.
“Did it help?” Angel asked suddenly, looking down at you as you neared the hotel doors.
You glanced up at him. “Tonight, you mean?”
Angel nodded, his expression apprehensive. “I know you ain’t like me and Cherri. You like havin’ some fun, sure, but…'' he looked away. “I know your limits are different. I just wanna make sure you’re okay.”
You smiled gratefully, squeezing his hand. “I’m fine,” you said softly.
And you were. It wasn’t getting out of the hotel that had helped, or even spending a few hours with someone with as positive a vibe as Cherri. It was the fact that your friends were so willing to help you, and the fact that you had finally been able to spend time with the first person in Hell to make you feel safe again.
“I’m glad,” Angel said as you walked through the doors of the hotel.
He led you straight to the stairs with a quick wave and a wink to Husk at the bar.
You laughed as he pulled you along. “Where are we going?”
“Ain’t it obvious?” he asked, a mischievous grin on his face. “The day ain’t ova yet. We’ve got one more thing left on the list.”
~~~
You snuggled deeper into the thick blanket surrounding you on Angel’s bed, scratching Fat Fuggets behind the ears as Angel Dust got comfortable beside you.
“What’d I tell ya’?” Angel asked as he propped his head on his hand. “Perfect end to a perfect night.”
You grinned and nodded, watching as Nuggs walked over to Angel and cuddled him.
Angel embraced his pig, petting him lightly as his eyes roamed over your face in mild concern. “You wanna talk about it?” he asked softly.
You averted your gaze. “Talk about what?”
Angel didn’t respond, his gaze heavy as he raised a silent eyebrow.
You sighed and looked back at him. “I love the hotel,” you said quietly. “It’s great. Really, it is. But sometimes-” you took a breath and closed your eyes. “Sometimes, everything’s just a lot. You know?”
Silence.
You opened your eyes when you felt a warm hand on your cheek. Angel was smiling down at you, his eyes warm. “Yeah. I get it,” he said with a small shrug. “But ‘ey.” He winked. “That’s what you’ve got me for.”
You laughed, moving closer and allowing Angel to wrap his arms around you and Nuggs. “And you’re the best,” you offered.
“Hells yeah, I am,” Angel murmured as he pressed a soft kiss to the top of your head. “Get some rest, babes. I’ll be here.”
And so, you slept. You slept more peacefully than you had slept in a long, long time.
And when you woke, true to his promise, Angel Dust was right beside you.
He gave you a soft smile. “I told ya’,” he said, careful not to wake Fat Nuggets. “I’m here.
Always.”
Got Your Number
Summary: You’re Steve Harrington’s older sister and after a rough and tumultuous breakup, you’re back in Hawkins, Indiana. 🌶️
Pairing: Harrington!reader x Eddie Munson
Author’s notes: I mean, it’s only been a few months. 🫠
Warnings: 18+ (Minors DNI!!), touch of drunk!asshole!eddie in this one, sorry 😞, language, drinking, smoking, panic attack described, mentions of past abusive relationship, shitty parent relationship, some smut, mention of reader’s period, and mention of drunk throwing up. Sounds like a fun chapter, xoxo
Word count: 7K (I’m rly sorry but I am too tired for a taglist tonight and it’s been so long half of yall probably have changed your usernames LOL)
V.
You and Eddie stumbled into his room, where he pushed you backwards onto his messy bed where you’d both slept the night before. He crawled over you, looking down at you with the same hungry eyes he had last night at the bar- the look sent your stomach into a fit of butterflies.
“I can’t believe I let last night happen.” You groaned as Eddie placed rough kisses on your neck, his scruff that showed up overnight was tickling you.
“What, do you regret it already?” He went from hungry for you to panicked- quick.
“No, no. I don’t mean that. I can’t believe our first time together was in the bathroom of a bar.”
“I just couldn’t wait to get you home.” He resumed the attack on your neck and you tugged at his sides as he left marks on top of the ones from last night. “Knew you’d be a good girl for me.” A gasp escaped your lips, and he swallowed it with a kiss. “You like that, yeah? Being called a good girl?”
You nodded, embarrassed, “Never been called that before.”
“But you like it?” His fingers had found their way below his boxers you'd slept in last night to find your already wet cunt dripping. “That’s my good girl.” You moaned as he lazily rubbed circles into your clit, your hips moving around looking for more traction.
“Fuck, your fingers are so good.” You said with your eyes squeezed tight, and Eddie slipped two inside of you, pumping in and out at a slow and steady pace. “Faster!” A whimper evaded your lips as he kept the slow pace.
“Nu-uh, I’m taking my time with you this morning, sweetheart.” You lifted your hips up and pushed the fabric down your legs as he continued to please you and spread your legs out so he could be in a better position. “Oh, fuck.” Eddie said as he looked down, “You’re uh, you’re bleeding.” He pulled his fingers out of you to reveal red stained fingers and your face immediately flushed a matching shade of red.
“Oh my god, I’m so sorry.” You carefully pushed up and were quickly pushed back down to the pillows.
“I started something, I’m gonna finish. I’m not afraid of a little blood.” He was then hovering over you, “is that alright?”
You nodded, because honestly everything felt better when you were on your period. You’d never had sex with Charlie on it, but you’d masterbated by yourself in the shower and everything was way more sensitive.
“I-If you don’t mind, but if you-”
“I got you halfway there, I can’t leave you high and dry now, can I, baby?” He thrusted his fingers in and out of you a little quicker, earning moans from you. Your hands made their way to your chest, clutching at your sensitive breasts. “Yeah, keep doing that. God, you look so pretty like this. Pull on your nipples for me.” He was biting at your earlobe next, and you were writhing underneath him at the sensations going through your body right now.
“Fuck, I’m so close, Eddie!” You squeezed and pinched at your tits, they were so sensitive and hard underneath your shirt.
“Be a good girl for me and cum, make more of a mess on my hand.” You felt your climax hit you as your hips stuttered against Eddie’s hand and he let you ride out your high, then you collapsed back onto his bed.
“I don’t even want to look. I’m so embarrassed.” You flung your arm over your eyes as your panting turned into normal breaths, and Eddie quickly left and returned back to you with clean hands.
“Nothing to be embarrassed about, sweets.” He plopped on the bed beside you and placed his hand on your soft tummy and kissed you on the head, “didn’t even get it on my sheets either.”
“Must’ve just started.” You mumbled as you sat up and spotted your purse where you kept extra feminine products just in case, and you cleaned yourself up in the bathroom and returned back to the bed where Eddie was lounging.
“Sorry, we can, uh, do something later for you-”
“I’m fine, I promise. I still have some free time before going into work today if you want to just hang out here.”
Eddie’s nightmare had woken you both up pretty early, and you didn’t feel your best from your night of drinking, so a slow morning sounded great.
“Wanna talk about the nightmare you had now that you’re calmed down?” You daringly asked, looking over at him as he shut his eyes tight.
Eddie sighed and pinched his nose, “Not really, no. But I guess I should catch you up a little better than your brother and I probably have, you deserve to know everything.”
You turned on your side and grabbed his hand and held it in yours, bringing his knuckles to your lips where you placed a gentle kiss. “You don’t have to, but I’m here to listen.”
“I don’t- I don’t really talk about it much with anyone except your brother anymore. Or Dustin sometimes if something comes up.” He sighed and opened his eyes, staring up at the ceiling. “So I’ll just start back at the beginning, you probably know most of this. After a Hellfire meeting and a basketball game one night, I had Chrissy Cunningham come over to the trailer because she said she wanted some drugs and I didn’t carry anything more than weed on me. I went into my room, came out and saw Chrissy… levitating in my living room, and watched as her bones cracked and her eyes bled out from her eye sockets. She died right in front of me. I still see it all of the time. In my dreams, a-and sometimes even just if I close my eyes for too long I get flashbacks of it. Then I just fucking ran. Your brother and everyone else found me, and I hid for a while from the town because they thought it was me. Steve and everyone caught me up on the whole Upside Down, Dungeons & Dragons creatures thing but worse because it was real bullshit that’s been happening in Hawkins so I knew I wasn’t crazy for seeing what I saw. But your brother-” Eddie let out a half laugh and a sigh, “he immediately believed me, and so did all of the kids. I couldn’t believe Steve Harrington, Mr. Cool, was involved in this shit. I followed him around and helped him fight in the Upside Down to save the town that fucking hated me. That night that Max lured Vecna in the attic was worse than I told you.” His voice got quieter, and deeper, “I died that night down there. I know I did. I saw fucking- I can’t even say what I saw down there because I don’t know wasn’t to say it out loud. I was so close to coming back up to Hawkins but at the last second I decided I had to help your brother and everyone else out- because let’s face it, if I died, who the fuck cared? I mean, Wayne would have, but think about if Steve would’ve died- you would’ve been without a brother, Dustin would’ve been crushed. He worships your brother. If anyone else would’ve died, so many people would’ve cared, you know? And I’m just Eddie, the town freak, who murdered some jocks with my devil worshiping game.”
You felt the warm tears flowing down your cheeks as Eddie spoke with brutal, heartbreaking honesty- it hurt your heart that this was how he felt about himself.
“The demobats flew after and attacked me and I knew I was sacrificing myself. Myself, Eddie “the banished”, for this whole stupid fucking town of Hawkins, where everyone hated me, and they thought I was murdering some high school kids.”
You sniffled through your tears as he continued talking.
“They tore me up. They bit me, their tails were sharp as spears, and the screeching. Fuck, I can still hear their high pitched screeches and it’s terrifying. I remember that Dustin came back for me, and then your brother must have shown up to help carry me back through the gate. I was so bloodied up and hurt they said I passed out. But I know I died. I saw these visions of my entire life- bad and good. I saw my mom, the short time she was here, and I saw my dad. I-I saw my fucking father and how he used to yell at me and hit me for all the dumb shit I did. And then I saw Wayne, who was crying by himself. A-and I saw you.” He wiped his eyes before any tears could fall and he choked out a smile, “I saw you. We were laughing in your basement, and that last summer where we actually hung out before you got too cool for me. All the time we spent at your house, in the pool, and then I saw you- I saw you all wrangled up by Vecna. He had you all… trapped, and you were screaming for help too, and I couldn’t help you because I was dead. He looked at me as he-” he took a shaky exhale, “he snapped your body into a mangled mess too, and then I regained consciousness and I was at Hopper’s cabin. I’d been out cold for days, reliving the same fucking dream over and over and over. And I still have it. And these scars hurt every time I have that dream. I wake up having a panic attack, and call Steve to talk me down.”
You were speechless as you clutched his hand tightly, a few tears escaped Eddie’s eyes as he refused to look at you. “But I haven’t told anyone that- that they still hurt sometimes. J-just you.”
“Eddie, what if it means something?”
“I don’t want it to mean something.” He spoke through gritted teeth and ripped his hand away from you, “it can’t. It’s all over now. Vecna’s gone, and he can’t hurt any of us again. El killed him, and everything is over.” He sighed and got up from the bed. You reached out and caught his hand, pulling him back to you. He didn’t fight it as his limp body collapsed into yours, and you held him as sobs wracked his whole body.
“I’m so sorry Eddie. You didn’t deserve any of that.” You couldn’t stop thinking about what he said about himself, how no one would’ve cared if he were gone. “I wish I could’ve been here for you. So you would have known that you mattered. You matter to so many people, Eddie.” You rubbed his back, soothing his cries. “Thank you.”
“For what?” He spoke into your neck.
“For sacrificing yourself for Steve, for your friends, for everyone. I’m glad you’re still here.” You pulled him from hiding into your neck, and wiped his tears.
“Yeah?”
“You’re the kindest, least scary metal head-nerd I’ve ever known.” You placed a soft kiss to his lips. You stared into his red rimmed, dark brown eyes that were wet with salty tears, “and thank you for telling me all of that. I know that was really hard.”
He just nodded and kissed you back, and stood up from the bed, grabbing his cigarettes from his bedside table. “I’ll be outside for a minute. Just-”
“I get it. It’s okay.” He waved a small wave as he made his way to his back porch to smoke, leaving you to lay back down in his bed.
Your head was spinning. Eddie was carrying the weight of all of this around daily, constantly. It hasn’t even been but maybe six months since his entire world had been flipped upside down, and he barely had time to process it all.
You knew he needed to talk to someone, a professional, but you didn’t know if anyone was allowed to know about him and everything he’d been through. Steve could be helpful, but again, you worried it might be out of pocket for you to talk to him. You got up and went back to the bathroom to splash some cool water on your face, then wandered out to the kitchen to gaze at Eddie on the back porch smoking. You could tell he was deep in thought, but he must have sensed you staring because he quickly put out his cigarette, and found you in the kitchen.
“Your parents are not too happy with you, you should probably know that.” He looked up at you through his mangled hair. “Steve gently suggested I should get you home earlier.”
“What else were you two talking about?” You asked, hoping he’d reveal something to you.
“Just needed his help calming down. He used to have nightmares too, but he seemed to have stopped having them.”
You were shocked at this, you didn’t know your brother had had the nightmares. But by how horrible Eddie described everything, you wouldn’t be shocked if everyone involved had them too.
“Have you tried anything- like, talking to anyone about it?”
He shook his head with an exhale and a quick change in his voice, “no, and it’s not something I’m up for talking about right now, okay? Let’s get you home.” He gently put his hand on your shoulder and guided you to his room. You found a pair of his sweatpants that were neatly folded in a drawer and grabbed the rest of your belongings. So much for a slow morning.
“You embarrassed us. Both of you.” You and Steve were standing shoulder to shoulder in your parents kitchen, and you felt like it was a flashback to being kids again.
“Sorry.” You reluctantly muttered out.
“I can't really punish either of you since you’re adults, but just know we’re both extremely disappointed in your behaviors and disappearing last night- it’s only been a few months since, since everything and we were supposed to be redeeming ourselves last night, and you both screwed that up for us.”
“We never stay long, mom.” Steve rolled his eyes and crossed his feet at his ankles as he leaned back against the kitchen counter. Eddie had stayed, but he was seated at the breakfast table in the kitchen, where he was sitting surprisingly quiet.
“No, but you didn’t have to act like children on stage and then sneak off to god knows where. You both reek of alcohol and bar.” Your mother flew her hands around in the air, “and where were either of you last night anyway? We waited up for a long time.”
“Robin’s.”
“Eddie’s.” You both answered at the same time.
“You start work on Monday, with me, if you want to continue living here. And Steve, you better clean your act up.” Your father spoke to both of you and you could tell it was a line he’d rehearsed with your mother beforehand. “And Eddie, we’d like to have you over for dinner.”
“I’d love nothing more.” He crossed his hands in his lap and shot your parents a huge grin- he had no idea what he was agreeing to.
“Tonight?” Your mother asked, her eyebrows raised.
“Can’t, he’s got a show.” You answered for him, trying to put it off as long as possible.
“We’re not on till 9. We’ll be here.”
“I can’t believe they’re still treating us like we’re teenagers. I mean, come on. I have to go work with dad.” You sighed as Steve was pacing in your room. “You got ants in your pants or something?”
He spoke after a few moments of silence, “I need to tell you something, but you can’t say anything to anyone. Not even Eddie, okay?” You nodded as you watched your brother run a hand through his messy hair again, and placed his other hand on his hip. “I’m worried about Eddie. Like, really worried.”
You played dumb, guessing what he was going to hopefully bring up. “why?”
“He called me this morning and he was so… he was not okay. You know, we saw some fucked up stuff just a few months ago, and we’ve all gotten some help whether it’s medication, or counseling, or something. But Eddie, he had it the worst and hasn’t tried anything to help him for more than a few days or weeks, if that, he just keeps it all together and hidden. Says he doesn’t need it, then he calls me crying in the morning because he says he sees-“ Steve stopped. “Has these horrible nightmares that feel like he’s back there again. There’s only certain people we’re allowed to talk to about this stuff, and you know him- he trusts no one. He’s afraid they’re gonna lock him up or something.”
“He told me his scars hurt him sometimes after.” You spoke before thinking.
“W-what?”
“Shit, Steve, that wasn’t my business to tell. Please don’t say anything to him.” Shit, shit, shit.
“Fuck- I, I- they told us…” Steve was pacing more, then he stopped, “Like I said, there’s a specific group of people we can go to about this, and these people aren’t the kindest. He probably just thinks it’s normal but someone needs to know- El, Dustin, Will. One of them has to know-”
“What did they tell you, Steve?”
He sighed again, “If any of us experienced any physical feelings of pain from these nightmares we needed to let them know as soon as it started. I bet this has been going on for months and he hasn’t said shit. It’s probably why he’s so angry, he’s holding all of this in- I’ve gotta tell-”
“Steve, you can’t! He’s never told anyone and he’ll get mad at me if he knows I told you.” You started panicking- you were having the same feelings about fearing Eddie’s anger as you were your ex-boyfriends.
Steve gently took you by the shoulders, “Listen, this is not something to play a waiting game with. You haven’t been around for all of this, and he was just thrown into it so I don’t think he realizes the severity of this possibly meaning something. It could be nothing, but it could be something.”
“I vote for telling Dustin.”
“Me too, and I think he can talk to El to get an idea of what this might mean. And hey, if he gets mad, you’re just trying to help him.” You’d never seen your brother this serious, so you had no other choice but to trust and take his word for it.
-
“So, Eddie, what are your plans?” Your mother asked as she flashed a fake smile at your boyfriend.
“Well, I’m running the music store in town and teaching lessons- I stay pretty booked out with those. But long term, hopefully our band will get noticed and we’ll get out of here.” Eddie chewed his dinner beside you while you picked at the food on your plate with your fork. His knee nudged you and you glanced at him with a quick smile.
“No backup plan?” She asked, setting her fork down.
“Don’t need one. If the band doesn’t get picked up, I own the record store and it’s doing great. I could expand, hire more people for more classes, and make more than enough to support myself and my family.” He confidently spoke without skipping a beat. Both you and Steve were eyeing each other across the table. Steve had told Dustin, and he was apparently trying to figure something out ASAP, but as far as you knew, Eddie had no idea.
“Own it? I didn’t know you owned it.” You were surprised this detail was left out- it was pretty major. Thoughts of how quickly things were moving between you two swelled in your mind along with everything else, but Eddie kept on talking.
“We got a pretty big uh, settlement for losing our house, and the record store was not going to be able to reopen with all the repairs needed. Hawkins doesn’t have much in that department, so I knew I had to keep it open for the sake of music in this town.”
“Well, that’s shocking. I didn’t know you owned a business.” Your dad spoke before washing down his bite of dinner with his rum and coke. “You really have made an effort in the last year, haven’t you?”
You could feel the glare your mother was giving your father at the positivity he was hinting about in the question.
“Yes, sir. Get called a devil worshipper, satanist, murderer… but gotta just push through. Wayne helped me a lot with getting everything fixed up.”
“So, you two are just, what? Best friends again, or-?” Your mom rudely interjected her question.
“It’s pretty obvious what’s going on between the two of them, mom.” Steve laughed at the comment.
“Boyfriend and girlfriend.” Eddie spoke casually as he sipped a beer through his proud smirk at your mom.
“Ah, well.” She pushed the food around on her plate, at a loss for words. “We’ll see where this goes, I guess.”
“Mom, can you try not being a bitch for once?” Every male at the table was shocked, and tried not to spit out their drink or food at your sudden outburst. “It’s not like Eddie wasn’t my best friend for over half of my life, or that I didn’t have a major crush on him the entire time, or-”
“What?” Eddie looked at you, his cheeks burning red.
“Not important right now.” You put your hand on top of his to stabilize yourself. “We already had this talk mom, I was who you wanted me to be in high school. Carry on the Harrington name, be the captain, miss popular, miss get engaged first, etc. and look at where that got me. I’m doing what I want to do now that I’m an adult and if being Eddie Munson’s girlfriend is that, then that’s what I’m going to choose to be.”
“I just don’t want you making a mistake, dear.” She pursed her lips at you, and you groaned as you stood up from the table.
“The only mistake I’ve made was thinking that you were going to maybe change.” You threw your dinner plate into the sink loudly and leaned against the counter, burying your face in your hands. You heard feet slowly walking into the kitchen, “Eddie, please just, I don’t want you in here right now.”
“It’s just me.” Steve spoke quietly. “He’s outside, said he’d wait for you so you can get to the show. And uh, he knows. Dustin already called him an hour before he got here because he said he had an idea.”
“Go tell him I’m staying here, or going to Robin’s, or fuck, anywhere else. I’m not riding with him.” You wrapped your arms tightly around yourself. “How mad is he?”
“Not at all.” Steve shrugged as he shoved his hands into his pockets.
“Bullshit. Steve, he’s going to get me in that van and he’s-”
“Hey, he’s Eddie. Not Charlie.” His hand on your shoulder made you jump as you looked at your brother’s eyes. They showed every bit of fear you felt too, you’d called him sometimes when Charlie had been upset with you so he knew that you weren’t overreacting.
“Can I ride with you?” You asked, hopeful.
“Can’t, I’m not going. I’ll walk out there with you and stand on the porch while you talk to him if that makes you feel better?”
“Yeah. That sounds alright.”
“Yeah? I’ll grab your purse for you and meet you out there.” You nodded at Steve as you walked out of the kitchen back door, wanting to avoid having to pass back through the dining room and seeing your parents.
You approached his rumbling van slowly, the hum was steady in the quiet of the dusky air. There were puffs of smoke coming from the drivers side as you walked up, and you watched the window roll down slowly.
“Hi.” Eddie smiled at you, his smile reaching his eyes.
“You- you’re not mad?”
“Mad? About what? About you telling Steve what I was too pussy to tell anyone about?”
“Yeah…” you heard the front door shut and saw Steve standing there awkwardly, your small purse in his hand and he waved with the other.
“You ready to go to the show?” He put out his cigarette and leaned his chin on the window. “Can’t be late, heard the main act is reaaaaally good. I think the lead singer is like, really hot.”
You were blushing at Eddie when he winked at you, “yeah, let me grab my purse from Steve.”
You retrieved the bag, and made your way back to Eddie’s van. He’d hopped out and had the passenger door open for you to hop in with ease.
“What do you think you’re doing wearing a skirt like that to my show, when you’re on your goddamn period, baby?” His hand rested on your bare thigh and he rubbed it up and down, feeling your smooth skin. “You’re really trying to kill me.”
You did nothing but blush and look out the window, and put your hand on top of his to stop him from inching any higher.
“Thanks for telling Steve. Really.” His voice was deep as he looked at you, at the red light, the glow reflecting on his pale face.
“I thought you were going to get mad like Charlie would have-”
“I told you to stop saying his name. I’m not him, not one bit like him.”
“I just know you can get really angry and-”
“You want to help me. I can’t get mad at you for that, that’s just silly.” A horn honked behind you, and you both jumped. “Alright, alright, I’m going.” Eddie floored it and you let out a little laugh.
You took a deep breath before speaking, “I’m sorry, I’m just not used to… this.”
“Well, get used to it. I’m not an asshole.”
And that was… it? The end of it. Huh.
Corroded Coffin went on at their planned time, and since you were alone tonight you opted for the side stage again, wanting to avoid possibly knowing anyone in the crowd, and you enjoyed the personal little sideshow Eddie gave you every time he walked your way.
“Big fan?” A guy beside you, who you did not recognize spoke up to you out of nowhere.
“Uh, Eddie-” you pointed to him, “he’s my bes- boyfriend. Just like sitting over here instead of standing amongst all of those sweaty people.”
“Oh, you two been together a long time?” Who was this guy, and where the hell did he come from? He was in some Levi’s, boots, and a band tee. It wasn’t worn like Eddie’s, it looked newer than any of his and the guy looked a bit older than both of you. You looked around his shoulder for Tripp, who just shrugged at you. What the actual fuck?
“I mean, we haven’t been a couple a long time, but we were practically best friends for our whole lives until I went to college but now I’m back. Who are you?”
“Tim, from the city. I own a record label and we heard about these guys so I came here to scout them out tonight.” You looked up at him as his gaze was set on the band. “They’re not half bad.”
“Y-yeah, they’re pretty good. Do they know you’re here?”
“Nah, we like to do this and catch them off guard. That way they can’t put on any kind of an extra show or something, but I figured with the way he’s putting on a show anytime he turns this way that you have to be someone special.”
Your heart was swelling at this for Eddie. “Oh, I get that.” You quietly enjoyed the rest of their set, Tim eventually wandered away before the guys had a chance to run off stage.
“Who was that you were talking to?” Eddie was standing between your parted legs, his lips attacking your neck, his fucks for the night were absolutely not there and you felt like he was just showing off his possessive nature.
“Tim.”
“Who the fuck is Tim?” He dipped lower, catching his guitar that was strapped around his shoulder on his back, before it had a chance to accidentally hit you.
“Record label scout.” Eddie paused as he sucked a love bite on your throat.
“What did you say?” He stood up and looked at you with wide eyes.
“Record label… scout? Said he was as sent out here to watch you guys play. He was impressed. Said he was from the city-”
“TRIPP!” Eddie yelled and ran over to the Hideout guy standing in the corner, you watched as he animatedly talked to him, running a hand through his sweaty hair and eventually handing his guitar off to a band mate. They all gathered around and were talking amongst themselves with excitement as you continued to sit on the unused speaker.
“Hey, you drink?” Tim was beside you again, with shots in his hand- multiple, you assumed that he’d grabbed them for everyone. “Bartender said tequila was the safest for everyone involved. I take it they heard I was here?” He nodded at the crowd of excited boys who’d missed his returning presence.
“Sorry, I-”
“I was gonna grab them after the show, don’t worry. C’mon, let’s go talk.” You followed him over to the band, holding your shot glass in your hand as you watched them turn to face the two of you. “Tim, from the city. I’m a label scout, I’ve heard you already know that though. We’re looking for a new band to sign on and we caught wind of Corroded Coffin, so here we are. Well, here I am.”
He passed out the shots, and you all took them in unison. He talked to the guys for a few minutes before Eddie walked over to you.
“Hey, he wants to talk about some stuff in private. I- are you okay to wait? I can tell him I’ve gotta go get you home if you’re not.”
“Nu-uh, you go. I’m fine. You go talk.” He pulled you in for a kiss, pulling your face as close to his as he possibly could, biting your lip before he pulled away.
“Thank you, baby. If any creeps come up, here’s my keys to go sit in the van.” He handed you a keychain full of keys and keychains, his shorter metal chain attached to it tonight.
You wandered over to the bar, and asked for a drink from the bartender who put it on “Eddie’s girls tab”, and you found the least sticky bar stool you could find to observe the bar dying down after the school.
It had been more than 30 minutes, more than two drinks before you realized this was going to take longer than you expected.
“Harrington? To what does Hawkins owe your presence?” You rolled your eyes at the voice, immediately recognizing it as one of Charlie’s friends.
“Fuck off, Caleb.” What was he even doing here? This was not his crowd, at all.
“Feisty. Cute. Guess dating the town freak does that to you.” You clutched your glass tightly, tempted to throw it at him, or break it at the grub you had on it.
“What are you even doing here? You wouldn’t be caught dead here.”
“Yeah well, heard you don’t want Charlie near you so he sent me to keep an eye on you.”
“I don’t need an eye on me here. I don’t need one on me at all.” Of fucking course. You finished your drink and stood up, then felt your arm get grabbed firmly.
“C’mon, lemme get you out of this shit hole.”
“Caleb, let go of me.” You pulled your arm, but his grip was too strong.
“Nah, Charlie’s waiting for you out there. You’re coming with us tonight after that shit you pulled at the benefit yesterday and made it so he couldn’t even go. You don’t really want that freak, do you?”
“Freak is such a childish word, it’s not even an insult. Let go of my fucking arm.”
“No.” He yanked you closer to him, “let’s go.”
“No!” You pulled and tugged, your arm felt like it was burning from his touch and tight grip. “I’m not fucking going anywhere with you!” You yelled, trying to get anyone’s attention. The bartender heard, and hopped over the bar to come rescue you.
“Let go of her, you dipshit, before I have to call the cops on you.”
“Just trying to get her home safely, don’t want her getting hurt by Munson-”
“You’re gonna be the one hurting if you don’t let her go.” The bartender ripped his arm away from yours and threw his arm at him. “Get the fuck outta my bar and don’t ever step your preppy ass back in here, or I will call the cops. No one wants you here.” You watched as Caleb backed away slowly.
“We’ll be watching, always watching.” He winked before he walked out.
You didn’t realize it but your whole body had started trembling, tears were streaming down your to, nausea had come from nowhere, and your ears were starting to ring. A panic attack was setting in and you needed to get out as soon as possible.
“I-I need to get to Eddie.” You held your hurting arm, “can you walk me back there?” He glanced at the bar before gently guiding you through the thinned out crowd. The door to the guys dressing room was shut, so you knocked with your shaky hand. “Eddie?”
“Just a minute, babe. We’re almost done here.” He spoke back through the door. You turned around, and the bartender had gone back to the bar, and Tripp was nowhere to be seen. Suddenly you were awfully fearful of the back door being unprotected.
Fuck it, you thought to yourself and opened the door. “I gave you the keys, what- Oh, fuck, what happened?” You entered the room and Eddie rushed to you immediately as everyone stared at you.
“I don’t wanna talk about it in front of these people, can we please go? I’m scared to go out by myself.”
“Yeah, yeah. Just- ah, fuck.”
“Hey, it’s fine. She’s more important. We got your info, we can call or meet up another time. Not gonna affect anything.” Tim held his hands up at Eddie as he smiled.
“Please.” You begged Eddie, and he nodded at you before kissing you on the forehead. He walked back to the band and said bye to them, thanking Tim and rambling off for a little too long before Tim had to shoo him away back to you.
“Baby, what’s wrong?” Eddie put his arm around you, and you could smell alcohol on him. “C’mon, let’s go home.”
“Eddie, you smell like an entire bottle of liquor, you’re not driving home.”
“And what, you’re perfectly sober?” His attitude came out of nowhere.
“What the fuck? Eddie, I’m having a goddamn panic attack because one of Charlie’s friends has been here all fucking night watching me. He just tried to grab me and take me out of here while you’re back there fucking around and drinking with your friends for close to an hour.”
“What?”
“You heard me! One of Charlie’s creepy friends was here, watching me-”
Eddie pushed past you, and you watched him bust the front door of the Hideout open. “HEY!”
You ran up to the bar and tapped on it to get the bartender’s attention. “Call the cops, get Jim Hopper over here now.” He nodded, and you followed Eddie’s path out the door. He was banging on the window of Charlie’s car.
“Open the fucking window, you coward!” He was yelling through the glass. Charlie and his friends were locked in safe in his car, and they were all mocking Eddie with little devil horns and sticking their tongues out at him. “You leave my girl alone, if I see you again, I WILL be wanted for murder, you fucking psycho.”
“EDDIE!” You yelled at him to get his attention, but he didn’t listen or stop.
“Is that a threat I just heard?” Charlie yelled through the glass.
“No, it’s a fucking PROMISE!” Eddie yelled, punching the car window with all of his might. The door to Charlie’s car opened, and Eddie backed up, letting him get out.
“Eddie, I swear to god. You don’t know who you’re messing with!” You yelled at him as you cautiously approached the two guys.
“Hey, you. Damn, you look good tonight, Caleb wasn’t lying.”
“Hey, HEY! Fuck off, man.” Eddie shoved him back, and before you knew it, you were running at the two, pulling Eddie back before Charlie got a chance to take a swing at him. Instead, it landed on your shoulder. You barely winced as you faced him.
“Charlie, get the fuck out of here.”
“Mmm, baby I miss hearing my name come out of your mouth.” He took a few steps closer to you, and you were wondering where Eddie was right now to protect you, then you heard him heaving into the gravel beside Charlie’s car.
“Please don’t do this again.” You begged, “just please, please fucking go.”
“Miss that begging too.” He stepped closer and you pushed him back again, begging for your boyfriend to stop puking his brains out.
“Take one more step closer to Harrington and your ass is getting it, Charlie. Get the fuck outta here.” Hopper had finally made it, and he was stepping between you two. “Did I stutter? Go home. If I ever hear about any of you stalking Harrington, Munson, anyone again, your whole family is going to get it.” Hopper was standing over Charlie, chest to chest as much as he could. Charlie cowered back, crawled into his car, and they drove away. Eddie was still bent over, and you started crying again.
“Hey, hey. It’s okay.”
“No it’s not, I’m not even safe here. And now I can’t even get home because he’s so fucking drunk he can’t drive, and I can’t either because I’m drunk too, and I’m having another panic attack because the other one never ended and-”
“Shhh, calm down. Take a deep breath. I’m here, I’m the officer on call tonight. I can get you home and I can get my buddy to get Munson’s van home too, alright? I called for backup- he should be here soon.”
“I- I don’t wanna go with him, I wanna go home.” Eddie stood up and wiped his mouth, he seemed to have finished.
“C’mon, I thought we could go home and celebrate baby.”
“Celebrate what?” You asked him, clueless.
“We signed onto their label tonight.” Normally, you would’ve been happy for Eddie. But not tonight, not right now. Not the way he completely was ignoring the events of the night, and his lack of attempt to make you feel safe tonight.
“You go get in my car, I’ll wait with him til my buddy gets here.” Hopper motioned to his vehicle and you walked over, ignoring Eddie calling your name. The tears started falling faster the closer you got to the car, and finally you let out the sobs once you shut the door. You really didn’t want to subject Hopper to your drunk crying the entire way back to your house, so you took as many deep breaths as you could possibly try before you saw him cross in front of the car again.
“They’re taking him home and his ride along is getting his van so it’s not here all night. You alright? He hurt you?”
“Charlie got a hit in, but it’s-”
“I’m talking about Munson. Already gonna get more paperwork filed on Charlie and his crew. Eddie hurt you?” You shook your head and quieted the sobs trying to escape.
“I’ve picked up Nancy and Robin from enough parties and they were crying over boys… and girls. You can let it out, Harrington.”
“He- he didn’t hurt me.” Your shoulders shook as you sobbed, “I promise. I’m just upset about him getting so shit faced and trying to drive me home, and he wasn’t there in the bar when Caleb got his hands on me.” You didn’t know when he started driving but the moving of the car was making you feel nauseous. You weren’t going to get sick, but your stomach was turning from the anxiety of the night.
“Don’t worry about any of them after tonight, okay? And don’t let yourself be alone, especially somewhere like the Hideout. I don’t trust any of those kids, they’re all little shits.”
You nodded, your sniffing was all that could be heard over the sounds coming from Hopper’s radio scanner.
You pulled up at your house, Steve’s car was parked in the driveway by itself, meaning your parents were out, possibly at a party, or gone, but you didn’t give a shit. You were just glad to be home.
“Thanks.” You tried to open the door from the inside, but forgot that you couldn’t unlock it since it was a cop car, and Jim got out to unlock your door.
“Steve home?” You shrugged. “Can I come up to the door and talk to him, I heard about-”
“Yeah, you can come in.” You said, not wanting to hear or talk about anything else tonight.
“Hey, wasn’t expecting you.” Steve said from the couch where he was watching a movie, “or you, Hop. What’s up?” He got up from the couch, and all but chased after you after he got a glance at your running makeup from the side, “hey, what happened?”
“Nothing, I’m going to bed.” Steve put his hand on your shoulder and you pushed him back, “don’t fucking touch me, I’m going to bed!” You yelled at him, crying more as you stormed up the stairs.
“She’s gonna be fine, just let her go.” You heard Hopper tell your brother.
You reached your room and slammed the door shut, you collapsed in the bed, and you let even more cries out. The phone rang, and you groaned, picking it up and hanging it up again immediately. A few seconds later, it rang again. Maybe it was your parents.
“H-Harrington residence?”
“Baby, I’m so sorry.” Eddie slurred through the phone.
“I don’t want to talk to you tonight, leave me alone.” You hung up the phone, not giving him a chance to speak again.
Maybe coming back home was a mistake, but what other option did you have?
Harder Than It Looks
Angel Dust x Male!Reader
A/N: Sorry if this seems ooc I haven’t written for Angel Dust before and I haven’t written for a little while now. I am so sorry in advance. This is a sensitive topic and I am in no way a medically trained individual, please if you need medical help. Please reach out.
TW: Talks of addiction, alcoholism, talk about death and throwing up. 18+ for those topics. If this bothers you in anyway please do not read.
You didn’t remember what happened fully, it was supposed to be a night out with some old friends of yours from when you were alive. It was only supposed to be a night out with eating and minimal partying- in fact you would’ve been fine not partying at all, you would just be happy stuffing your face full of food at your favorite restaurant. The same restaurant you took your amazing and loveable boyfriend on your first date together. How could this ruin your favorite place- all of your hard work of your rehabilitation. You felt like you wanted to fucking throw up.
But you carried yourself drunkenly through the streets of hell, your head felt heavy and your vision was blurred with every step. The rain hit your hot face hard and it didn’t feel like the good kind of cold rain after a long hot day. Your clothes were thoroughly soaked as if Lucifer himself was reminding you that you were in Hell for a reason; in life you were a heavy drinker- you never dared to hit anyone in your life, not after what you promised to your Mother. So you stayed at local bars and clubs drinking your days away, begging for the elected poison to end your life and finally one day it did. You didn’t want to think of how your Mother found her only baby boy slumped down in his car after drinking his life away, you didn’t dare think about her wailing.
You don’t remember pushing the doors to the hotel open or how long it took you to get to the hotel. Pushing your way through Charlie and Vaggie as you sobbed out, all of your progress was ruined and now? They surely hated you; Angel Dust will hate you when he sees how fucked you looked. The stairs seemed endless to your room but you kept pushing on between broken sobs and heaves of air that never seemed to be collected in your own lungs before it was violently ripped from your chest. Reaching your shared room with Angel, you almost tripped over poor little Fat Nuggets as you threw open the bathroom door, hopefully not breaking anything in the process. You threw yourself towards the toilet before allowing yourself to throw up all the food and alcohol. Your body wracked with each sob and heave of trying to get rid of the substances in your body, unbeknownst that your boyfriend had followed you into the bathroom.
How could you not notice the drinks- how your ‘friends’ constantly flagged down the waitress whispering something to her. Fuck, you were stupid. “It’s alright, Handsome. Let it out” Angel’s voice cut through the sobs and dry heaving into the toilet. His warm hands rubbing your back as he coaxed the soaking wet jacket off your body. You don’t remember him calling out for you or when he let a pair of his hands run through your soaking hair, brushing it back as you sobbed out. “I was so fucking stupid..I was so close but I..I thought they would be different.” you sobbed clinging to the toilet bowl like it was your life line. Your body was so tired, you wanted to give in and let yourself collapse but you couldn’t not when you felt Angel pull you flush against his body. “Shh, it’s going to be alright, Suga’.” he whispered out softly like any louder would scare you.
“They tricked me, ‘Tony…they kept getting me drinks and feeding me like I was some fucking lamb sent to the slaughter house.” You hissed out trembling in his hold as he carefully helped you out of your rain soaked clothes. “Gonna wrap you up in a towel so you get nice and dry okay? Then we can get in some comfy clothes and lay in bed.” He calmly replied as he kissed your cheek. “Can..Can Fat Nuggets snuggle with us?” You asked the familiar feeling of warmth as a towel was wrapped around your trembling frame and how Angel chuckled, a smile forming on his lips. “Of course, Handsome.” He cooed out easily picking you up.
It was a blur of slurred words and slow movement, you were curled up into Angel Dust as his hands rubbed your back and another pair brushed back your hair as you tried to stay awake. Fat Nuggets curled in your arms already asleep after forgiving you with soft headbutts and nuzzles. “Are you mad at me, ‘Tony?” you asked after a few moments ignoring how your body trembled almost violently. Angel smiled and let his hand run down to caress your cheek, “Not at all, Baby..I was just worried when I got a call from Charlie saying you ran into the hotel almost throwing up on your own shoes.” he replied pulling your body closer as another tremble ran through your body, kissing your forehead.
 “Go to sleep, Baby. I’ll watch over you.” You nodded at him allowing your eyes to finally close. You were safe with him and Fat Nuggets between your arms. He wouldn’t let anyone harm you if he had a say in it.
A/N: First post in a long ass time. If you guys like this, I'll gladly do a second part of this.
Swampbound IV
Tumblr media
"Jesse, get on up! You can’t be sprawled out like this!"
Adla’s voice sliced through the fog in his head. She waved a jar of coffee beans under his nose, the bitter smell cutting through the haze. "Come on now, breathe it in. You gotta wake up!"
He blinked, the world slowly sharpening into view, piece by piece.
Adla’s porch stretched out in front of him, bathed in the bright light of morning. He shifted, feeling his shirt clinging to his back, wet and sticky. A bucket of soapy water lay tipped over by his head, handle just out of reach, like something left behind in a rush.
“What... happened?” His voice was hoarse, gravelly, as he forced his head up to meet Adla’s anxious eyes. A dull throb pulsed at the base of his skull, and a strange heaviness pressed down on him, slowing everything down.
Adla glanced away for just a second before giving him a smile that never made it to her eyes. “You fell, Jess. Don’t remember?”
He shook his head and regretted it instantly as a wave of dizziness hit him hard. Groaning, he pushed himself upright, Adla’s hands warm against his clammy skin. She moved too quickly, her touch jittery, more nervous than helpful, making his head spin even more.
“You came up them steps like a storm, fussin’ ‘bout somethin’. Didn’t even see the bucket sittin’ there. Slipped and fell real hard. You really don’t remember?”
“Nah,” Jesse muttered, eyes scanning the porch, trying to fill in the blanks. Everything looked normal, except for the broken railing. It was splintered in the middle like something wild had torn through it.
“I did that?” Jesse asked, voice was low and thick with disbelief. “That don’t seem right... I don’t remember none of it.”
Adla’s hands stilled for a moment before she wiped them nervously on her housecoat. “Yeah, you did. Tore through it on your way down.” Her words tumbled out quick, a little too quick, like she was trying to convince herself just as much as him. “You should come inside and lay down for a bit. You hit your head hard—might’ve knocked somethin’ loose.”
Jesse squinted at her, that strange feeling deepening in his chest. He rubbed his temples, trying to pull the memory into focus, but it slipped away, like water through his fingers. Bits and flashes—then nothing.
“I don’t think so—” He broke off, his fingers tracing a deep scratch in the wet wood, as if seeking answers in its grain. “Somethin’ ain’t right, Addy. Feels like I’m missin’ somethin’ important.” His gaze shifted back to the splintered pole, his voice tight with uncertainty. “You sure I did that? Just me? That don’t make no sense.”
She kept dabbing at the cut on his head, blood smeared across her shaky fingers, refusing to meet her eyes. “You were actin’ strange, Jesse. Maybe you just fell wrong. Could be you hit your head worse than you think.”
Her voice held a calmness, but he could hear the subtle crack beneath it, the tremble she couldn’t quite hide. Was she really that shaken by his supposed ‘fall’?
Jesse’s frustration simmered, bubbling to the surface as the gaps in his memory stubbornly refused to close. His chest tightened, a creeping fear snaking through him—something was slipping away, something important, and he couldn’t grasp what.
“I know what a fall feels like, and this ain’t it.” He rubbed the back of his neck again, the ache growing worse, like something was buried deep under the skin. “I’m tellin’ you, it don’t make sense. None of it.”
The harder he tried to force the memory back, the more distant it became, leaving him restless and on edge. He just needed to get away, clear his head from the creeping dread gnawing at his gut.
“I need to head back to town,” he muttered, pulling away from her touch. “Gotta check on the store before we open. Charlie was workin’ last night, and that boy’s lazy as hell—probably left everything a mess.”
“You sure? You don’t look too steady right now,” Adla’s voice was soft, but her discomfort was clear, her hands hovering like she didn’t know whether to reach out again or not. “Maybe you oughta sit for a spell, let me get you some water, somethin’—”
“I’m fine!” Jesse’s voice snapped sharper than he intended, the frustration flaring up like a flash fire. As soon as the words escaped, he saw it—fear flickering in her eyes. Adla backed away, standing on shaky feet. Jesse exhaled shakily, dragging a hand over his face, his palm slick with sweat. “I’m sorry,” he muttered, softer now. “Didn’t mean to snap. I just… somethin’ ain’t right. Feels like somethin’s wrong inside me.”
Jesse prided himself on stayin' calm when chaos reigned. He could sweet-talk his way out of any mess, but in that moment, he couldn’t find that charm, no matter how hard he tried. Alarm bells rang in his swirling mind, a frantic chorus he couldn’t silence.
Adla didn’t speak for a beat, her eyes fixed on him, lips pressed tight as if she had more to say but was biting it back. It wasn’t like her, but he wasn’t in shape to press her. “If you say so, Jesse." She finally said, her voice sharper than before. "But you don’t gotta go rushin’ off. You ain’t right.”
"I’ll be fine," he said, his voice cracking, coming out more strained than he meant. He pushed himself up, legs shaky beneath him. The ground swayed for a moment, but he steadied himself with a deep breath.
Jesse staggered to his truck, but even as he left, a sharp image flickered in the back of his mind—those glowing amber eyes. He tried to grab hold of the memory, but it slipped away, just out of reach.
From the shelter of the gnarled trees, Terry’s intense gaze followed Jesse’s retreat, lurking in the shadows, a quiet storm brewing within him.
It's currently storming and here's a little fun fact about me, I'm terrified of thunder. So here's a little hurt comfort Drabble with a reader who's spooked during thunderstorms. Please enjoy! Ps. The next part of "The Radio Host and The Reporter" is in my drafts ∩^ω^∩
Rain Rain go Away
Paring: Alastor x Fem!reader
Warnings: possible ooc Alastor
Tumblr media
You've never been a fan of thunderstorms. Quite unfortunate considering that when you were alive you lived in an area that tended to get hit hard by thunderstorms when they did happen. Back then Alastor didn't know this till he found you burrowed under blankets like a small mammal.
This night was no different. It was a rare night in hell and a thunderstorm was raging on outside. As soon as your doe like ears picked up on the first sign of rain, you tensed.
"Hey (y/n) you good toots?"
Angel dust asked, snapping you out if your train of thoughts. Your ears were pinned back as you managed a smile and stood up.
"Yeah Angel. I'm okay"
And with that you left. You took a very shaky breath as you walked up the stairs. Of course Alastor had left to go see Rosie a few hours ago, none of you known it would rain. You just hoped it wouldn't end up a thunderstorm.
*****
Alastor was mid sip when his ear flicked, moments before rain started pouring down. He put his tea cup back down on its saucer. His ear closest to the window kept facing it, listening for signs of thunder while he kept facing Rosie. His smile was still casual as he listened at the latest gossip Rosie had been talking about.
"Oh and Suzan came by. Still brutish as ever, came to me because she ended up eating her husband, can you bealive that?"
"Well it is Suzan Rosie, that woman even has me at the end of my rope"
Alastor's ear flicked and his grip tightened on the handle of his teacup. Moments later a blinding flash of light struck a tall tower, and a rumbling crack echoed down the streets.
His ears flicked downward and to the side for a moment before returning to their normal position. It was enough to tip off Rosie however,
"Oh go on Alastor. If you need to leave I'm sure it's important"
Rosie flashed him her usual smile, waving her hands in a shooing motion.
Alastor's eyes softened for a moment.
"Thank you Rosie. We'll have to catch up some other time. Thank you for the tea"
With that, Alastor shadow warped out of Rosie's emporium and into the lobby of the hotel. His ears flicked, the wind seemed to be stronger here and the rain pounded against the walls. A second crack of thunder seemed to shake the building.
"Oh wow this is a rough storm. I should go check on (y/n) she left a little while ago-"
"No need Charlie, I'll do it myself"
Vaggie looks up at Alastor for a moment raising an eyebrow before nodding and placing a hand on Charlie's shoulder.
"Let's go check on Angel dust instead. Does that sound good sweetheart?"
Charlie nods her head and the two of them walk down the hall, husk makes brief eye contact with Alastor before taking a bottle of cheep booze back to his room. Thunder shakes the hotel again and Alastor makes his way up the stairs. No one is around so he makes no effort in trying to conceal the urgency in his steps.
Alastor pushes open the door to your shared room, his eyes looking around for you. His ears flick as it thunders again, drawing out a whimper from within the bayou that he had materialized in his room.
Taking a blanket off the bed he walks through the bayou, going in a bit deep, following the hoof prints you had left behind. He finds you, sitting on a log, hands over your ears.
****
Shaking, you hear someone approaching. Alastor was making his movements known to you. Raising your head you look up at him, taking your hands off your ears and placing them in your lap. His eyes a softness reserved for only when the two of you were alone.
As if ok que, the crack of thunder shook the hotel, although it seemed a bit softer out in the bayou. You squeaked, curling up into a ball. Alastor sat next to you on the log. Since you've died and gained your doe like appearance, you've found that your hearing has gotten better. Your ears are pinned back in fear.
Your body uncurls itself as Alastor drapes a blanket he had gotten from the bed over your shoulders and pulled you into his lap.
"Oh my doe, my sweet doe. Come here. The thunder shouldn't last much longer"
You nod your head. The two of you spending the rest of the night in eachother's embrace while Alastor talked on and on about his day, taking your mind off the rain pounding in the only window in his room.
Soon enough you were starting to drift off to sleep in his embrace. Picking you up, he stood up with a hum. The last thing you saw before you fell into a peaceful slumber was him, smiling softly with gentle eyes,
"See my doe? I told you it would pass"
in a bathroom
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
knox overstreet x fem!reader
summary: he ends up in the bathroom with you, and you almost gain something from it.
notes: i SUCK at making summaries and it shows. don't cancel me for not forgetting about the chris story it's an important part and i had to write about it also i kind of hate him in this story at some point but lord is he fine
tw: kinda suggestive??? also light swearing
There wasn’t a party you didn’t go to.
You didn’t really attend them for the people, with whom a couple of sweet smiles and flattering words were enough to start and end a whole conversation for the whole night, and you didn’t even go for the stupid and drunk games they played. It was for the alcohol, really, and one person. Only one. And it wasn’t even noble to wish to see him. You might have seen him three times, maybe not even that, and never even talked to him: all you did was laugh under your breath when he took Chet’s well deserved punch in the nose, and not get black out drunk on purpose just so you could look at him.
Saying you didn’t have any hopes was useless. Everybody knew it. He was so lost in Chris that he’d barely even look at you. The only warranty you had was his (and yours) state of drunkenness, which led both of you—but mainly him, let’s be honest— to do dumb actions.
The beer slowly made its way down your throat, cooling it down first and lighting up a barely satisfying fire in your guts. You looked down at your shoes, then at the sink, lit up by the faint and loud light above the mirror that was in front of it. You’ve been thinking about him all night; “how’d he even have the guts to show up after what he’s done?” was the thought that kept your mind busy. You took another sip from the red plastic glass, and then the beer was over. You placed it back down on the cold tiles of the floor; the action took you out of the hive of thoughts you had running in your mind and made you realize how sore your butt was.
You slowly got up, your legs barely keeping you up as a black shadow left just a circle in your visual field, your head was spinning, the limbs numb as you tried hard not to faint on the spot. You took a deep breath.
 “‘M not even that bad, oh my god…”
You huffed and looked at yourself into the mirror with a small smile. Whatever was left of the red lipstick was tracing around your lips, leaving the center of your pale lips exposed, and the hair all puffy and frizzy. You leaned in, lipstick in hand, and carefully reapplied it, fixing the small smears with your hand.
“There’s no hope, unless…”
You straightened up, and began rummaging through cupboards and drawers, looking for a solution for your hair.
“How could there be nothing– no oils, no combs…this girl survives without a comb? How do you even do that…”
You huffed once more, closing, defeated, the cupboard next to the mirror and sitting back on the ground, eyes fixated on the ceiling.
The door opened and closed quickly. A tall and slender figure leaned its back on it as soon as the door was shut down, rather loudly, and sighed heavily. It took you a couple of seconds to shift your gaze from the ceiling to the intruder— no one less than Knox Overstreet. Your stomach dropped, and your cheeks flared up; if by sitting back on the ground your body lost all trace of energy, his sudden entrance made it regain every drop of it that the alcohol took away from you.
—Oh, uuh…sorry…maybe I shouldn't have…come in… — he stuttered, opening the door once more and hesitantly leaving the room, his own cheeks reddening just a little.
—It’s…fine, you- you can stay…i don’t mind…— you chuckle, almost nervously.
Hold on, you were really going to ask him to stay? Out of all people? A weird and deep pain in the stomach hit you; you almost couldn’t believe it.
He smiled faintly and entered the room once more, closing the door behind him. You got up and smiled tiredly.
—You are..?
—Dalton.
—Dal…Dalton? Dalton Dalton?
—Suppose you know my brother.
—Charlie, yes, ‘f course. sure…uuuh…Knox. Knox Overstreet.— and he offered you his hand, which you took and shook weakly.
You looked at him, almost with tenderness, as he looked around the room, clearly lost.
The pain in the stomach came back, hader this time; it felt like you were being punched— no, worse, stabbed in the guts over and over. Your knees buckled. Harder than before; and a weird sense of hate for him and pretty much everything washed over you.
“A cigarette will fix anything…god how i’m tired…” and you took the worn out pack of cigarettes with one of matches stuck roughly in it.
—Do you smoke?
—I do…thanks.
You handed him one of the cigarettes and put one for yourself dangling from your lips. You could already feel the lovely effect nicotine had on you, tiring you out even more in anticipation. You curved a little and made a small semicircle around the match and the cigarette, but he placed a surprisingly warm and soft hand on yours.
—It's only polite that I light you up.
You smiled faintly at him, trying hard to conceal the most tender and hardest flutter your heart must have had in your whole life, and handed him the matches. He swiftly lit up the match, then you, and finally himself; you took long drags, watching him step on the half burnt match on the ground absentmindedly, all you could think about was how amazing it felt to smoke in such a situation. You two stood in silence for a few minutes, then you turned around and sat on the windowsill.
He opened his mouth, as if to talk, but hesitated for a few seconds.
—Really awkward and impolite to ask, but do you know about…what happened..?— his tone was hushed, almost vulnerable as he exhaled the smoke in short puffs from his nose.
You smiled and put out the cigarette, nodding as you did so.
—Of course. Everybody knows.
—Charlie must have told you I was– well, I still am much of a dick.
—I know that. But it wasn’t news when Charlie told me. I was there that night.
You looked down at the ground for a few seconds, then began swinging your legs.
—You look so much like a Welton schoolboy, you know,— you blurted out, looking at him.
—Why did I never see you? Anywhere at all?
You shrugged, chuckling.
—Don’t come here often?
—It’s not that…I don't have…demands. I don’t come here to kiss on the forehead the girl I like knowing that she has a boyfriend who could break my rib cage if he tried hard enough. I come here to drink. And…really, that’s it.
The other reason you had to attend parties so avidly almost slipped out of your mouth, but you swallowed it down.
He nodded, half smiling.
—Can’t tell if I should be offended or flattered. I don’t wanna look like a “Welton schoolboy”
You laughed heartily and shook your head.
—Flattered. Definitely. I’d attend Welton if it accepted girls.
—What? You can’t be serious,— he laughed, cocking an eyebrow like he does most of the time.
—Do you know how fun it would be to attend the same school as my brother? The rumors I could spread, oh my god, don’t get me started on them.
He laughed heartily in response, and you with him.
—You sure don’t attend Welton, which leads me to ask… where do you study?
—Lone Pine institute. Welton, but worse. And for girls, too.
—Should i say i’m sorry or what..?— he laughed
You laughed along with him; the air was becoming lighter and both of you noticed. He made a few steps towards you and sat on the ground, leaning back on the bathtub.
—Go and fetch us a drink like the gentleman you’re supposed to be?
—I just sat down. Also, I don't wanna throw myself into a sea of horny and drunk teenagers.
You scoff, and chuckle a little.
—Are you really that much of a babygirl?
—Why don’t you go instead, little miss?
You chuckled at his nickname; it made you both furious and endeared.
—The roles have switched, I assume?
—They have. Now go, go.— he gestured towards the door and chuckled.
You rolled your eyes in response, but got off the windowsill nevertheless.
—Want me to bring something in particular?
—Come back alive.
Your cheeks flared up a little more than they should have; and you hastily made your way outside the room, closing the door behind you and leaning against it for a few seconds.
“I feel like some kind of Austen’s character,” you thought, smiling stupidly.
You got off the door, walking slowly in the half-empty rooms. Red, plastic cups and crystal glasses scattered all over the kitchen table and pretty much every surface around. Looking for a clean one was useless, so you grabbed the only unopened bottles you could find under the table: clear, low-quality gin and fancy brandy.
The route for the bathroom was the same, except the air was thicker and heavier than it was when you first left the room; your cheeks lit up once more, burning, practically—
you still couldn’t believe you were alone, together.
—The gentleman you are, Overstreet,— you mocked him, entering the room and shutting the door behind you.
He was startled, and knew you could tell. He had your lipstick in hand, which he clearly tried, by the red stain on the back of his hand; he quickly placed it back on the sink and chuckled nervously, almost.
—Interested? ‘S a pretty shade of red.
He looked at you, almost in panic and blushed ever so slightly.
—It is, I suppose…
—you tried it on and you suppose?,— you laughed and handed him the bottle of gin. Then made your way back to the windowsill.
He just smiled in response and also sat back down on the floor.
—No glasses?
—Unless you wanna drink other people’s saliva, no.
You both laughed heartily, as you cracked open the bottle of brandy and took a few sips.
He copied you, scrunching his face as the alcohol went down to his guts.
—Don’t drink often?
—You know Welton.
—I also know the poets. And charlie.
He laughed and you with him.
—I suppose you drink…more than i do
—less than you think, maybe. Lone Pine’s stricter than they give it credit for
Silence falls and you both keep drinking and staring at the ground.
—Do you really think that…me and Chris…
You shrugged and took another sip.
—I know very little about both of you. But you’re not her type. And maybe neither Chet is. I really just can’t stand the guy.
He looked at you, interrogatives in his gaze.
—She’s a lesbian, in my humble opinion. But she can do whatever she wants. I don’t give a fuck, really.
He laughed heartily, and you with him.
—Wanna switch?— and he handed you the half empty bottle of gin.
—You really are a babygirl, aren’t you?
He laughed with sarcasm, then got up and took your bottle while giving you his.
You both drank in silence for a little while, the quiet sound of crickets and the liquids sloshing in the bottles filling the room.
You couldn’t help but think that drinking from the same bottle was like some sort of kiss, or something like that; you cursed your stupid mind for such thoughts and sent the idea down your guts with the bitter and fat gin.
—Suppose you think of me as a dick.
—You are, and nobody can deny it,— you smiled faintly at him— although, if it can hel you, there’s worse out there.
He smiled, almost mechanically.
—I regret it, honestly.
—Why, was there a time you didn’t? You made a huge, maybe not even that, a bigger-than-huge mistake. Did you realize it?
He nodded, and you felt a little guilty for getting so aggressive with your words. He looked down and kept drinking. Awkward minutes of silence passed again, where you both drank and stared at the ground. Another outrageously ridiculous thought crossed your mind, but you swallowed it with the gin.
—You do like brandy, hm?
He chuckled and nodded in response, looking at the bottle in his hands and then at the one between your thighs.
—You’re a gin lover yourself
You chuckled and blushed faintly.
—What would you have done?
—If I had a persistent unrequited admirer like you?
He nodded.
—And I was a prick’s girlfriend?
Again, he nodded.
You shrugged and smiled.
—I wouldn't have thrown myself into your arms, but I wouldn't have stayed with the dickhead either.
—So?
—Difficult situation. I would’ve ran away.
He laughed heartily, and you both drank some more. The air suddenly became lighter, your cheeks didn’t flare up as often and as heavily as they would just a few minutes ago: the alcohol was kicking in for both of you.
Silence again. The bottles were almost empty, and the night became colder, more humid and the faint light above the mirror shinier.
—You’re pretty, by the way. A lot.
You smiled again; the slurred words that came out of his mouth didn’t even have that much of an effect on you; maybe he didn't even mean it.
—Thanks, but it's the gin you’ve been chugging on for at least three quarters of an hour speaking, not you.
You both laugh, a little too much for your ugly and drunk joke.
—I mean it. Unless you're taken, otherwise act like I said nothing.
—Me? Taken? Oh, please,— you laugh heartily.
—Hard to believe.
—Admit that if I said that I was taken, it would have been really ironic.
He laughed and you followed him, then he got up slowly and stood between your knees.
—Do I get punched if I kiss you?
—You have a surprisingly high tolerance.
He kissed you. Deeply. The taste of the low quality gin mixing with the sweet and familiar brandy on his lips. He held you by the waist, and you wrapped your arms around his neck, bringing him even closer. You pulled back a little, tracing the outline of his lips with wet and slow kisses; he tried to kiss you back but failed. He leaned down on you, tightening his arms around your waist, and kissed you again, sweetly, this time.
—Promise me we’re going out after this?
—Dead Poets’ honor.
You kissed him once more and slowly got off the windowsill as his hands moved down to your hips.
You didn’t think, you couldn't think even if you tried your best in a situation like the one you were living in: with your arms around his neck and his own leaving your hips and looking for the zipper on your dress. Soon his lips left your mouth, moving lower and lower and lavishing your skin with kisses as the dress got loose and began sliding down your body; to be really fair, you didn’t even notice him undressing you; your focus was more on trying hard not to swoon right there and then when his lips left your own to smother in languid kisses your neck.
The dress fell slowly off your body, hampered by his firm grip on your hips, and ended up leaving only your chest and stomach exposed. And as he kept acting on impulse, you can't help but think it's only a fling and nothing more in a bathroom during  a party, and that his promise was just something to say.
Maybe Chris was still there, in the head that was now kissing your chest and trying so hard to undo your bra; or maybe not—maybe in that head full of love and illusions and dumb, reckless thoughts—there was you. You didn't dare to ask; you'd never dare to ask. Their motto was carpe diem, or something like that; “might as well follow it for once,"  you thought.
—I think I met  the love of my life in a bathroom,— he muttered against your skin, trailing back up to your lips and letting the dress fall to your feet.
Lucifer's Pride
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Fittingly for someone who is the Deadly Sin of Pride, Lucifer's main issues in his relationship with Charlie stem from being too proud to admit how much he loves her directly until the events of the episode "Dad Beat Dad".
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Another trait of pride he has also involves his relationship with Charlie, refusing to accept Charlie needs anyone's help but his. But Lucifer's help basically amounts to "I will give you anything you want because I'm the strongest being in hell" which misses the point Charlie is making while Alastor offers more indirect methods to accomplishing Charlie's goals that are more likely to succeed than just forcing everyone to do what you want. Funny enough, Alastor playing up being a fatherly substitute to Charlie hurts Lucifer's pride of being her father.
From the start, it's clear that Lucifer never went out of his way to physically visit Charlie. One reason is, as he stated, depression. But it's also characteristically very prideful of him to not show up until Charlie is the one to take action and explicitly invite him to the hotel.
The resolution of their strained relationship makes sense as well; by opening up to Charlie about his failures and insecurities, Lucifer displays humility, the opposite of Pride, and the only true antidote to shame. What is more, this opening up allows him to see Charlie for who she truly is, and fall into the more virtuous side of his Sin by taking due Pride in his daughter and how she is following in his footsteps.
Tumblr media
Even his introduction also shows his pride in action. He makes a rubber duck that can backflip and breathe fire... which he then throws aside like trash in a few seconds. Anyone else will be impressed by such a feat of engineering and creativity, but Lucifer's pride set such a high standard that not even this can remotely impress him.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Lucifer is also shown to be rather depressed and the reasons are fairly numerous: he was kicked out of Heaven for defying the rules, in hell he's only able to see humanity at it's worst because of his own mistakes, he lost his wife and got stranded from her own daughter; he probably believes he hit rock bottom at that time. The audience can see how miserable he really is, yet as the phone call goes, Lucifer goes all on it's way to pretend he's totally fine, that he's been doing important thing that kept him busy and puts a jovial mask all the way through. Lucifer's pride is so high it forbids him to even openly admit to his daughter he has been rather miserable and needs a lot more help and confort that he lets on, acting high and mighty during his song with Alastor and putting smiles and exhuberance to cover up the fact he's trying so hard to not fall into despair.
It's only at the end when he decides to be humble when Charlie can finally see that beneath the apparent aloofness, her father was actually in emotional pain and yet he still loved her despite everything when Lucifer finally gets a chance to get the appreciation he desperately needed. Sometimes depressed people are often prone to believe they're supposed to be fine and use arrogance to not be perceived as whiny, often avoiding seeking help because they just can't accept their own feelings of sadness or anger.
charlie walker was known for the most brutal kill in history, but he owed it all to his limitless well of creativity. he always found a way to do things better than they had ever been done, outdoing all those who came before him.
as his love interest, you found that there was never a dull moment with him. from the spooky movie marathons to him fucking your brains out on a friday night, you were always in for it. It was one of your favourite things about dating charlie.
he had you sprawled across your bed, sloppily kissing you as his long fingers rubbed slow circles onto your sticky cunt. you were only in your lacy bra, but he wore his typical black cloak, its presence somehow multiplying the intimacy of the moment.
soft moans slipped from your wet lips. he kept his method firm but gentle in an irresistible way that always left you hungry for more, no matter how hard your legs were shaking. he slipped two fingers in, orchestrating breathless whimpers from you. you could hear the noise of your wet cunt clinging onto him, his fingers sliding in and out of you with ease.
he brought his lips close enough to your ears so that you could feel his hot breath on your lobe. “why don’t we try something a little different tonight, hm?” without giving you a moment to think, he pulled his fingers out of you, picking you up and carrying you to your window. He set you down, a little smirk creeping up on his face.
“It’s getting a little stuffy in here, don’t you think?” he started opening the window, you frantically trying to cover yourself up. It was only 8pm, so everyone in the neighbourhood was sure to be up right now. You were about to protest, but he pulled you into another deep kiss, slightly pushing your upper body outside so your exposed ass was pressed against his boner.
The cool breeze hit your face. You looked around, seeing people walking through the sidewalks and minding their own business. “What are you doing, cha-” your sentence was cut off by a loud moan that erupted from your throat. He had pushed his full length in while toying with your aching clit.
“O-oh yeah… just like that, baby.” he pushed your body out the window just a little more, leaving you on display for whoever dared to pass by your house at this time. He started fucking you quickly, abusing your tight little hole as your sweet noises echoed through the streets. He reached a hand forward, starting to pinch and prod at your hard nipples.
You tried to suppress your moans as much as you could. You had already earned the stares of a few people, but you managed to play it off as you just looking outside. He tore your panties off of your bruised hips, using his fingers to force them into your mouth. Your noises were muffled, but they really didn’t help in drawing the attention away from you.
Charlie slowed down his thrusts, wanting to tease you until you reached your breaking point. His fingers tapped at your bud, him starting to whisper sweet little things into your ear. “just want the whole world to see how pretty my baby is… c’mon hon, lemme hear your noises.” he started pounding into you once again, cum starting to drip down your thighs.
you tried to convince yourself that this was humiliating, that this whole situation made you look like a giant whore. but that was all part of the thrill. the fear of getting caught, seeing people watch as you got your guts rearranged. it was all amazing. your eyes rolled to the back of your head as he bent you over even more,  pushing his dick inside at the perfect angle.
you screamed out, the echo circling back into your ears. charlie chuckled softly, his grip on your hips getting firmer. “is that the spot? right there?” you were completely unable to speak, your brain becoming drunk on his cock. he brought his hand to the clasp of your bra, undoing it in one swift movement and letting it fall to the ground.
your perfect tits were now exposed to everybody. “there we go… now everyone can see you.” you felt a burning sensation in your cheeks as the reality of the situation dawned on you. but at this point, the pleasure was too much for you to care. your hair blew in the wind, covering your flushed cheeks and spit-coated lips.
the boiling sensation in your gut grew, signalling an orgasm that you’d been craving since the very beginning. your hungry pussy clenched around his throbbing length, sending a few streams of his precum into your core. you felt your body growing weaker by the minute as you chased your high, grinding your hips against him for more friction.
he began to lose his composure, the organized patterns in his thrusts failing occasionally. surely, you had the whole street’s attention by now, but you were certain that all eyes were on you once you hit your high. the mix of both your combined moans notified the whole town of what you two were up to.
charlie looked down at his slowly softening cock, seeing how it dripped and glistened with your cum. you could feel his hot liquid bubbling out of you, dripping down your legs and onto the floor. he pulled you back into the room, closing the window and shutting the curtains. he sat down on the ground and pulled you onto his lap.
“how was that for you?” he looked at you lovingly as he asked. this was one thing that he always did: checking to make sure that he hadn’t made you uncomfortable in anyway. you gave him a tired little smile and a thumbs up, resting your head on his chest. the neighbourhood was silent for the rest of the night, but the memory of the sight that was unleashed tonight would never be forgotten.
