*sigh* Nnoitra, thin build is not necessary a bad thing. Let's be honest, it looks nice on you and it's... mmm... invoke these nurturing urges in people who CAN cook. Very useful.

❝ If people wanna gimme FOOD, I ain't gonna complain. ❞ But --- He didn't want them to give him food because they felt sorry for him or whatever. Like: wow look at that poor skinny guy, he must be starving! He was not some fucking stray dog ( or cat? ). He didn't want PITY. This was not... Really about pity though, was it? It was about people wanting to nurture him? He'd be lying if he said he didn't... Like it when people took care of him. As long as they didn't do it in a condescending sort of way. Being CARED for was something he fucking needed from the depth of his goddamn soul. He had ALWAYS needed it. Whenever anyone treated him kindly, he could feel that hunger surge within him. But WHY would anyone want to be nice to him? He was a fucking asshole after all. It was no wonder a lot of people treated him like shit. It was what he deserved. Maybe that was why kindness was so effective on him. But he didn't want pity. Didn't fucking want that.

As for this build looking ' good ' on him or whatever. No, it didn't. This build didn't look good on ANYONE. No man and no woman. Being so thin was not attractive. Men should have large, visible muscles. Nnoitra was all bones ( his muscles were long and thin, so they weren't really visible ). There was, unfortunately, NOTHING he could do to change his build. He'd tried forever to gain weight. It didn't happen. No matter how much he ate, he couldn't put on a single kilo. Instead, he was fast as hell when it came to dropping weight. If he went for a day without eating much, it would have an impact the next day. It was pretty fucking stressful. It also made it hard for him to put on muscle, since he had no fat to convert. He HAD ( at least he thought? ) been able to strengthen his body the past few months, because he'd been going to the gym a lot. And he'd been eating even more than before. In the end, he was unhappy with his build, but there was nothing he could do, so maybe he should just be thankful that SOMEONE thought it ' looked good on him '.
