She'd considered, after they first met, flirting with him a little, seeing where things went. After she'd learnt about his wife, though, Bella had let things fall into being strictly platonic and being his friend, helping with Xuánlì, or mysteriously making too much food to eat herself, or some days (like today) making sure he gets enough rest.

They’d probably be just as sought after as Toothless is in the original universe. I can see them getting captured a lot. And then getting out in some miraculous fashion! Toothless’ sisters seem like they’d probably be very dramatic.

Nichijou in terms of execution and humor and general quality i would probably rate higher above Azumanga daioh but Azumanga's malice and meanspirited style is actually what made me so endeared to it. Ultimately i would pick Azumanga in terms of how much it clicked with me and how much i enjoyed it overall

If you want to know what's up in Argentina:

Argentina has, historically, the right to public FREE quality university for all citizens and residents on its soil. This is considered a right and, although the system has its faults, it's considered the pillar of Argentina's middle professional class and a tool for upward mobility.

Last week, against HEAVY popular citizen support for the national public university system, Congress decided to support Javier Milei's veto that halts the public university's funding to inoperative levels.

Although the goverment and other friendly politicians assure this is about keeping numbers balanced, the money the Argentinian goverment gives to the system is less than 0,14% of the GDP. This is ideological. This is about less rights.

The President has claimed in interviews before and after his presidency that he considers free university "a degeneracy" and useless, although the Argentinian public university system has been lauded internationally (with high global rankings of UBA, Universidad de Cordoba, UNLP and Nobel prizes for its graduates) and is considered one of the tools for the working class's social mobility and the creation of Argentina's professional middle class.

The response to these measures that directly goes against the people's wishes have been instant.

There are now massive university takeovers all over the country, including very conservative areas and faculties with a population that refrains from these measures and have indeed voted for Milei's Libertarian party. Argentinian's Student Movement is historic, relentless and goes back to the 1918 Reform. It has coordinated and birthed several historical moments country-wise and was famously targeted by authoritarian regimes (like 1976's US-backed Military Dictatorship'a genocide and 1990s Neoliberalist Menem's policies).

The last two decades the movement has been disjointed, even fangless, but it seems Milei and the Congress's blatant corruption and disregard for what is considered a basic right has awakened a dormant beast.

Keep an eye on us, alright? Please.

She's fussing. There's no other word for it. Had panicked when their eyes rolled back, but now that Sami's awake again was flitting about with blankets and glasses of water and being a general nuisance.

Sami's nonchalant attitude towards the whole situation was not helping her worry.

Did I just read through this entire thing (series) in under an hour? Yes.

Did I enjoy every second of it? Also yes.

I LOVE how you used Mizuiro, Karin, and Yuzu in this. From thoughts to actions to how they are alone and together? ❤️

Ichigo? Oh my... this has to be one of my favorite versions of him. I don't even know where to start, but I have to say I adore it all. How he thinks, how he dealt with problems like Isshin and more, how he fights...

Honestly, I can't recommend this enough. I'm definitely looking forward to anything added to this series.

(Also, unrelated, but why did my mind go down a Bleach/Addams Family rabbit hole during the time I was reading this? Because next thing I know, the thought of a MORTICIA-esque Ichigo, with Kisuke and/or Shinji in the Gomez-esque role (or something new all together). With Karin and Yuzu, not as stand-ins for Wednesday and Pugsley, but as Addams in their own right.

Of course the Addams blood came from Masaki's side of the family, and now I want to brainstorm more on this... ❤️❤️❤️)

When Yuzu gets a phone call from Ichigo that they would be having two guests for dinner tonight, she is delighted. In all the years she’s known him, her brother has only ever introduced one person to them as something of a friend. Mizuiro is half a sibling at this point, trusted enough to be around them even when Ichigo isn’t, but before him, and after him, nobody else has ever caught Ichigo’s eye enough to warrant an actual invitation to dine with their family.

“They’re related to ghost stuff,” Ichigo adds bluntly, and Yuzu understands that to mean that these two will at least be tougher than the average yakuza on the street, even if they can’t match up to her brother.

“I understand!” She chirps back cheerfully. “I’ll let Karin know. I can’t wait to meet them!”

Then she hangs up, rolls up her sleeves, and gets to work in the kitchen. No guests of her brother’s will ever accuse them of being ungracious hosts on her watch.

(Karin comes home from soccer practice half an hour later. She laughs, as Yuzu does, when Yuzu tells her of their impending guests.)
