this ones pretty random but i felt like the populus would enjoy it:

a while back I tried a new medication to help me sleep and reacted to it so badly I was bedridden for like 3 days bc I could barely sit up without getting dizzy and falling over. during this period of time I had a multitude of loopy dreams, one of which being about spooky month.

in the dream pelo shadowdropped and then immediately unlisted a new spooky short that was supposed to be groundbreaking lore-wise. the short was about Lila as a young adult and revealed the information that - she was actually a natural redhead but dyed her hair purple - she loved to rollerskate at the park and wore 80's jazzercise clothes while doing it - she used to work in TSA specifically with animals - she first saw skiddad on TV as a televangelist

after the short dropped people started getting into heated fights about what it all meant, escalating so bad that people started posting videos of fans meeting up in real life to physically brawl. when asked what the short meant in the greater context of the series, pelo said "if you dont get it then you wont" and deleted every episode off his channel and acted like the series never existed. the only trace of it left was the merch store, which sold low-quality pngs of the short at exorbitant prices.

One of my worst fears regarding the series and the fandom is that it'll be revealed Lila killed Skid's dad, whether accidentally or intentionally, and the fandom will just endlessly discourse over her and you can't try to defend or even like her without being called a horrible person

I think it's a bit silly that people will openly hate on Roy's parents or the mayor for being rude people while adoring Skid's father who's a CULT LEADER. Of course it's alright to have preferences when it comes to characters!! However, it's so strange (imo) to bash a character for being an asshole then turn around and love the leader of a cult (who's probably a murderer and manipulator). Maybe that's just me though </3
