Ana: i feel so stupid right now. i was making cookies as a kind of a friday ritual of mine. i end every school week with a small batch of cookies as kind of a like "yay, you made it" kind of thing. cheesy, i know, but it makes me feel accomplished at the end of the week... or better depending on if it was a bad week. Ana: ANYWAY i guess i was on autopilot and when the timer went off and as i pulled the cookie sheet out of the oven, i realized i forgot to put on my oven mitts 😭

Oh, I totally get that! Christmas and Halloween are such fun holidays to focus on instead, and they don’t come with all the relationship pressure. Plus, they’re way cozier or spookier, depending on your vibe. It’s great that you’ve gotten to a place where you feel comfortable with yourself, though. That’s honestly one of the hardest things to figure out, but once you do, everything else seems a little easier, right? And yes, the accents are everything in the UK version! You’ll definitely get hooked. Plus, the drama is chef’s kiss. You’ll have to let me know what you think!

It makes it that much harder to get attached to things, probably, but I guess I'm too much of a romantic at heart to be dissuaded for long. It just means I'm a bit more fond of Christmas and Halloween as an adult. I couldn't agree more though -- I don't think I was really comfortable with myself for a long time, honestly, but letting go of some of the things I thought I wanted probably helped with that. Oh, you had me at accents -- I am a sucker for a good accent, I'm sold!

You think I look cute in anything or nothing, so my answer still stands! It was between the pajama performance or the Rocky Horror performance. Mainly the rehearsal portion, because I looked great in the full getup. But that bald cap on my regular head of hair was not a look. I'm amazed I wasn't bullied for that!

Woah, wait, what? I didn’t realize Manny Jacinto was in The Acolyte! I’ve been meaning to watch that, but too be honest I'm not like super into Star Wars so it's one of those "I'll get to it when I get to it" shows. I might have to bump it up now if only for Manny. I did see him in I Want You Back, but I think that's the only thing I've seen for him outside of Good Place.

Oh man, I love The Good Place so much -- I have to admire a show that's both genuinely funny and has something to say, and Manny Jacinto earned himself a lifelong fan within seconds of Jason's first line (which is SO wild to go back and watch now after The Acolyte...) I think I probably related to Chidi a little bit more than I should have -- I too would find myself in the Bad Place because of almond milk and control issues, 😂

He hadn't meant for it to start a fight over the stupid pizza discussion, but something in him had snapped and there was no coming back from it. Once he twitches, even over the smallest thing, it feels lately it just leads to an unavoidable fight. Maybe he could relate it to how much stress he's been under with getting back into the roll at Vogue, or even this unforgiving summer heat. A growl in the pit of his stomach tells him it could also be huger adding on top of it, as he hadn't eaten a thing since this morning. There had been a whole thing involving wrong delivery dates and amount numbers that meshed or swapped, and it had been up to him to handle it alone.

Was that a set excuse? No. But it definitely contributed to his jumping at his fiancé over something as minimal as pineapple on pizza.

One of the things he was determined to personally work on after living together hadn't worked the first time was to better their communication. It was a small stepping stone in the maturing aspect, right? Usually he'd just give Blaine space for days until one of them broke. But here? He couldn't do that here. They were engaged, they were living together. No longtime escape and school books to hide behind, or avoiding phone calls or texts.

After getting himself tea, per Rachel's inspiration, he settles on the sofa in his and Blaine's living room, taking a small sip, waiting for Blaine to make his physical appearance from wherever he had been. Having been too heated and petty, Kurt didn't even notice if Blaine had left or was still in the apartment somewhere. But it was clear at some point, they'd cross paths and the best place to face anything head on was in the living room. The most open space in the loft, making escape or avoidance impossible. @talkwithblaine

Charlie was just glad that her costume wasn't as extravagant as some, although that wasn't to say she was about to run out and play every game that ran the risk of splashing her with some sort of alcoholic beverage. Tossing a glance behind her at the mention of the other activities, she gave a shake of her head, sure she'd make her way over to some of them eventually. "Yeah, the trivia doesn't really sound like my kind of thing. I don't know anything about scary movies, I don't think I'd get a single question right. The walkthrough is a maybe for me though. Jump scares aren't my thing either, so I've been waiting to see if it's really all that bad before I try to go through it."

Blaine let out a soft chuckle at Charlie's reaction and nodded. "Exactly. Finally someone who understands! The last thing I want is for my curls to rebel against me." Although he definitely didn't gel down his hair as much as he used to back in high school, he still liked to use a fair amount of product to tame his curls. "You should! I've played eyeball beer pong and flip cup so far, even though those were admittedly pretty dangerous for my outfit too, and I failed horribly at pin the tail on the werewolf. And while I don't watch scary movies very often, I'd love to try my hand at the scary movie trivia. The haunted walkthrough is still up for debate, as I really don't want to go through it alone. Have you gone through it yet?"

After a week of shared time, food, and of course swapping the winnings of stuffed animals and other trinkets back and forth, the long awaited weekend was here. And Kurt can feel just how jittery his gut is getting as he throws some select choice items into a bag, pretending the hygienic bag taking up more space than anything else was not a problem he was facing when zipping the whole thing up. A very, very throwing caution to the wind move by handing Finn the main keys to the entire dorm building - with whispered threatening promises shared under his breath - he was shutting the door. Clutching Hugsy, the penguin stuffed animal Blaine won for him a few days prior, he's locating his said date with ease once stepping out of Rhodes Hall. "Alright, B.D.A., here we are !" He throws both arms up while approaching the car, enthusiastically waving his arms and the stuffed animal in greeting. "I know you're driving and all that, but I need you to know that I will be taking over your playlists and selecting the music for the next two hours." Even if Kurt had a feeling he wouldn't need to be skipping much of anything, due to their tastes being similar as it was. But he still directs his fingers from his eyes towards Blaine, tossing his bag and Hugsy into the back seat and slides into the passenger seat. ( @wmublaine )

River: Honestly, makes me think I chose the wrong career path sometimes, but I love what I do too much to give it up. Even for something else I love like cooking, but I don't think I'd like it as much if it was my job. But I get that, that's definitely a question you keep to yourself unless you want to risk the staff spitting in your food or something.

River: Oh yeah, I've heard the food in NYC is something else. Haven't made it up there yet, but definitely plan on it. Got any favorite spots out there?

Blaine: Yeah, I totally get that. I'd feel the exact same way, and I'd probably think of a million different excuses as well. Wondering where on earth they learned (or /didn't/ learn) how to cook and actually asking that question out loud are two very different things. Blaine: That makes sense! Especially considering that you cook well enough for people to suggest you should start a food blog. I hope you guys still had a great time, despite the food not being the best! And while I love eating out (especially in NYC because the possibilities are endless), I also really enjoy cooking, so I try to maintain a healthy balance.
