textures by remi (most hairs originally retextured by powerpc).

re-binned, familied, tooltipped and compressed.

all the meshes are included.

i've been eyeing powerpc's hairs for a while now because they use pretty much the same colors and textures as the new hair system does, except the red color (they use explosive, nhs uses pyrotechnic). i thought of making a bunch of pyrotechnic recolors to pair with the other existing colors and i decided to re-bin them together and re-link the grays to black and so on, like i usually do with my hairs. i used powerpc's retextures as a base and i decided to include their dynamite, depth charge and incendiary retextures for consistency (except for curbs 118, ginko jolyne and leahlillith riku, those i recolored in all colors by myself), so all the credit goes to them!

if you have any questions, feel free to ask. i don't know the poly counts of all the conversions because they weren't disclosed and i still can't figure out how to check them myself 😅

With Baldur’s Gate 3 coming out in August, I am so desperately hopeful that some cc creator(s) will convert outfits from that game. I know some have been converted already (thank you so much @satterlly for doing that!!) but there’s going to be a lot of new ones with the game’s full release this summer, and I desperately need them for my fantasy/d&d sims.

1600s WOMEN - LOOKBOOK

The Baroque period saw a softening of women's fashion, with the silhouette becoming fuller and higher waisted. Leg-o-mutton and three quarter sleeves added a billowy upper half to dresses. Shimmering soft satins and tonnes of delicate lace trimmings were all the rage. Necklines continued to broaden, eventually even falling off the shoulders in some styles.

Antiquated Brindleton

An 1890s Decades Challenge Save File

This save has been almost a year in the making, but it's finally here! It includes a completely rebuilt Brindleton Bay inspired by historic New England towns and set in the 1890s. This save uses a light amount of historical cc and most of the packs.

Includes:

Eight new residential lots

Seven new community lots

Six new households

Builds and households are all located in Brindleton Bay. The world is intended to be historically accurate to about 1890, though some liberties for functionality have been taken.

Builds in other worlds have been deleted. The necessary buildings, like dorms, active career lots, and the high school, have all been left in place.

Townies have been evicted, but not deleted, as I prefer EA townies to fully randomized townies.

If you’d like more period appropriate townies to add, the lovely @jewishsimming has some great historical ones to download and @cowplant-snacks has an amazing tutorial on how to manage your townies with MCCC.

REQUIREMENTS: I have all the packs except Batuu and some of the kits. I didn’t limit myself when building. I don’t have everything listed out here, but I will be uploading all the lots and households to my gallery, so if you’d like to know specific pack usage you’ll be able to check there. If you load in and things are replaced or missing and you think it looks obvious feel free to message me, I’m always happy to try to help you find something else that fits! This save includes historical CC, some is included in my download in folders and some you will need to download from the creators directly. The CC required is listed and linked below, you need to download these linked pieces in ADDITION to the included cc folders.

DOWNLOAD: There are five zipped folders to download, four of which contain included cc, and one which includes the save itself.

Download the "AB_SaveFile" folder, unzip it and simply move the file inside to your saves folder inside your Sims 4 folder (where your mods folder is located).

The included cc is in four folders (to allow for easier upload/download) for build, buy, clothing, and hair. Simply download the folders, unzip them, and place them in your mods folder.

After this you should be good to load up your game and get playing, let me know if you run into any issues, I'm happy to try to troubleshoot. It's here! Halloween! And my Simblreen treat 4! This time, nothin' says lovin' like somethin' for your coven! (That was terrible. I'm kinda sorry, but not very.) There's something for every kind of witch in @satterlly's Witching Hour part 1. I converted all of the clothes and made a little offshoot of one of the dresses. Everything is AF only (sorry, blame the second dead laptop), set as Everyday, and has both morphs. All dresses come without tights in 30 textures and with tights in 5 textures. There's so much here, including three new shoe conversions, so this is a very long post. Or you can download it all right now.

(Accessories not included - Mostly by Skell)

Note: For reasons I don't understand (and trust me, I tried to fix it), some of these have that thing where there are little skin-color lines at the edges when you zoom out. It only happens on my gaming laptop, not the one with worse graphics. I have no idea why, and if anyone knows how to fix it, please let me know. I hope you want them anyway and it doesn't happen on your computer.

DressShort is an explosion of ruffles. It comes with Skell's witch ankle boots, because DeeDee used them recently and I was running out of time. Some dress colors have new boot recolors by me, as seen in the preview at the top.

DressMedium has the same neckline and sleeves as DressShort, but a full mid-calf skirt. It comes with mary janes by Elfdor (RIP).

This is just too cool, right? A mid-calf skirt and tucked in graphic tee. I paired it with Mina Boots by Solistair (retired).

And last of the Satterlly originals in this bunch, 1Sleeve dress. It comes with @madlensims' Bellanza Boots, the short version. I love the asymmetrical hem with the mock neck and single sleeve.

I was inspired to riff on that style and wound up (thanks to a poll) with a shorter version with two long sleeves. (Ok, they're 3/4 sleeves, but shh.) It also comes with Madlen's Bellanza Boots and is repo'ed to the 1Sleeve dress for the non-tights version.
