Sometimes I get a bit depressed thinking about how thick my thighs are, and then I remember that these two queens:

#Marvel #Marvel comics #Marvel 616 #Moon Knight: City of the Dead #Moon Knight comics #latest release #Moon Knight #Marc Spector #Lol I am choosing to believe that the spelling of ‘Mark’ is a reference to the first volume and not a mistake on Mr. Petit’s part #also….I can handwave Bushman because he was dead at one point but ayo they ain’t implying Frenchie’s dead are they #like sure more often than not recently he’s made it clear he doesn’t want much to do with Marc (except during that brief interlude #during Bemis’ run)#but that would be quite the twist (and an unwelcome one in my opinion akshskaj)#but more seriously…while this doesn’t go particularly…deep I guess #perhaps what I’m fascinated most by is Marc’s description of these as ghosts of his past present and future #they don’t each line up perfectly (as arguably all three of these individuals are from his past)#but the description for Bushman is sticking with me #that Marc fears the time he spent operating in increasing shades of black with Bushman’s crew #not only informed who he is as a person up to his time as Moon Knight but will stick with him in perpetuity #but yeah I guess that’s the defining point of Moon Knight:#no one more aware of the near sacrilegious bundle of ethnic/religious contradictions and other paradoxes he represents than he himself #and constantly feeling a tension between trying to escape the violence of his past and understanding that he can use such experiences/skill #to protect others

#I fucking hate doctors and the medical field so much #I was FINALLY starting to get on the right path #called a php place and think I know where I’m going #have a therapist I’ve been talking to here and there #I’ve been trying to get into a psych evaluation right?#called 5+ places the other day and they all had 5-8 month long waitlists #I need to get most of this shit done before June #so that ain’t gonna work #called the psych place my doctor referred me to #(would like to add that I did call this same place right after my doctor visit a few months ago and they never called me back)#so I had no hope they were even going to pick up #I was shocked when I heard someone picked up and even more shocked when they said they had an opening for fucking Wednesday #literally I felt like everything was finally aligning #I scheduled the appt for a zoom meeting at 10am #then I get a bunch of random emails saying my appointment was changed #now I have two different appointments- Wednesday and Thursday both at 9am and with a totally different doctor #so I was like???? ok guessing something happened but I didn’t think much of it - called to figure out what day it actually is #when I called to confirm they told me that I can’t be tested until I get an internal referral #I told them I did get a referral???#they looked at it and it was just a referral for depression not adhd or anything else #but then when they looked more into it they found in the notes she wanted me to get adhd testing #SO she just forgot to add it to my referral #I get people make mistakes #but this is like the 4th time something like this has happened lately #I’m just trying to be healthy #and it is fucking RIDICULOUS how incredibly hard it is to find the proper help #also the girl yesterday when I made the appointment said yes to all my questions but sounds like she doesn’t know what she’s talking about #was like ‘does this test for adhd and autism?’ ‘yeah for sure’ and then I find out they don’t even test for autism #so now I have to find a totally different person to either do both or just test for autism #either way I feel incredibly disheartened and overwhelmed and sad

I haven’t been intentionally losing weight but I’ve lost about 11lbs in the last year and I’m ok with that. I definitely don’t think I need to lose any more, but I’m lifting again to build some muscle back up and keep my bones strong now that I’m almost a middle aged woman 😆

Y’know if Guilty Gear, for whatever reason, decided to suddenly change genres (again), I wouldn’t mind seeing the series take a stab at being a Hack n Slash.

And I mean a proper hack n slash not that RTS/MOBA bullshit we got in Overture.

#that said what TYPE of hack n slash is up for debate #I would hate for it to be a God of War clone(because they suck) or a Musou type game(they suck even more)#a Bayonetta clone while fun wouldn’t be…. idk weighty enough?#like Platinum Hack n Slashes/Beat em ups aren’t mondo floaty or anything #and the witch time mechanic would make sense here since there could a in universe magical explanation for it #but there’s just SOMETHING about Bayo clones they just ain’t meshing with GG in my head…#on the other side of that coin I don’t think I’d want the game to feel TOO heavy like that Valkyrie Elysium game #piggybacking off of that; not entirely sure I’d want it to be a action RPG either. well I might but depends on who’s making it #guess that leaves the option of it being a Devil May Cry clone #which is surprisingly easy to imagine since Overture already has its own version of DMC’s lock on+directional input thing #however minuscule it is in Overture #plus DMC is probably the only hack n slash I know of that has air dashes and we all know Guilty Gear codified that shit in fighters so #it fits even better #guess let Itsuno give it a try #matter of fact didn’t Hideaki Itsuno help make the combat for that new Final Fantasy game? how was that?#a taste of that might help “fortify” my decision #or make me backtrack on it #in any event: Guilty Gear hack n slash wen Ishiwatari?#guilty gear #guilty gear 2 overture #devil may cry #platinum games #hack n slash #beat em up #fighting games #arc system works

I’m upset 😭😭

I forgot that I preordered the DoJaeJung albums from ktown4u along with the Blue to Orange 127 photobook, which is bad enough once I remembered because I was like damn now I have to wait a few more days for it to ship since that’s being released after, but I couldn’t remember the exact date, so I checked ktown4u’s listing for the photobook and apparently the release date for it has been postponed until like May 4th

#like 😭 now I’m not getting any of my albums quickly #if I would’ve known that I’d be waiting over two weeks bc of the photobook I probably wouldn’t have ordered it #but when I ordered it together the release date was either the 21st or the 24th #either way not too many days #I’m almost positive originally it was the 21st and I was like yeah I can wait 4 extra days #but 17 extra days until the release? and then who knows how long until it actually ships and gets delivered?#it when o checked the listing my brain was like wait… hold on…. something ain’t right here #but also I haven’t seen anywhere online that it was supposed to be postponed?#and if I’d known that earlier I would’ve canceled that from my ktown4u order and placed it elsewhere #but now Doyoung’s cover is out of stock in most stores I’m pretty sure #or at least the ones that I prefer to order from #or anyway it’s more expensive to get it at any of those stores than to just order it from ktown #so guess I’m waiting 20 more days minimum to get any of my DJJ albums

My favourite stuffed animal used to be so big in my arms when I was little, and she just barely fit under my arm. She seems so small when I sleep with her now. I try to hold her like I used to, but I’m too big—my arms too long and awkward to pull her against me just right. She feels delicate now. Her fur is matted from being held so much. Her body is soft from being squeezed and hugged. She is fragile, and yet she cared for me when I needed her, listened to me when I whispered to her, and loved me when it felt like no one else understood. She sees me, and I see her. We are one soul, bound together forever.

She is so small now. We do not play in the yard anymore, or travel on great adventures, or face great challenges together.

Sometimes, in the night, I cry. I do not want to leave her when I pass one day. I do not want her to be alone.
