Ron's a dog man - has been all his life - and because he's got the financial means to look after them now and the time and work to spend on them and engage them with, he has a sizeable pack of equally sizeable dogs. There're seven total in all appropriate verses, though some include others as well. Those Victor would get to meet are:

From left to right, top line are Claude and Mo. Middle line are Bruce (son of Claude and Mo), Topper and Marley. Bottom line are Duchess and Juno. Marley and Juno - the silver/blue pair - may or may not be related. The shelter wasn't sure. All bar Duchess and Mo are mixes with a hefty dose of Mastiff in 'em, where the little girl of the family is half Borzoi, half Labrador. Mo herself's a Danish Mastiff - a Broholmer.

as a trans man, i don't think i have any clue what it's like to grow up as a cis girl being treated like a cis girl. i have no "female socialization." people tried to beat "girl-ness" into me and it didn't work. i mostly know what it was like to be a weird little gay boy that most adults avoided talking to or about on principle and most people hesitated to assign any gendered terms to out of raw discomfort. i overheard people using "it" towards me on a regular basis.

i spent time with and befriended a lot of other young weird or gay girls and boys because they were the only people who were kind to me, at the time.

nobody's ever fought me on those points.

so... when a trans woman in your life tells you that she's never been a boy, never been a man, that "male socialization" is a malicious lie... believe her too, please, okay? treat girls like they ask you to treat them.

AITA for not telling my fiancé I know he’s queer? 

I 20s (F) have a 20s (M) fiancé, V, and he’s been talking about this terrible secret he cannot tell me and he keeps almost starting to come out and then backing out. The issue is V and I were raised together by his parents, and my surrogate 40s (M) father and (now deceased) surrogate mother arranged for our marriage back when we were both children. They thought it was the best for us and at the time we were too young to realize the implications and had no reason to reject to the match. When we were teenagers our mother was on her deathbed and she told us again that she wished for us to marry, and of course we both agreed. However, V is also best friends with a 20s (M) guy called H, and they were nearly inseparable as boys and teens. They also went to university together and shared an apartment but V had to come home due to family reasons. Lately he’s been going out all day and coming home at night hours later. He insists that he’s fine and that we all leave him alone and not worry for him, but I think he and H have been sneaking around. He even delayed our wedding day by arranging a trip to go to England alone with H. It’s exhausting for all of us and I think I should just tell V I know and support him and that we can call off the marriage, but I’m not sure that’s the best course of action? I’m completely fine with not marrying him - he always felt more like a brother to me anyway - but I worry it might come off wrong. The worst part is he’s really beating himself up about it. He’s so guilty it’s beginning to take a toll on his health. I don’t care if he has a boyfriend I just want him to be happy.

👫 Headcanon Meme

1. Despite press tattle to the contrary, it was never Victor's wealth that attracted Ron to him. It was the look of him first off, then how he spoke and how his mind worked. The riches never came into it - in fact the disparity between their respective social classes would be more a barrier than a boon.

2. Ron never thought that Victor would drop the trappings of his gilded life in favour of a new start in London, and he certainly didn't ask him to. He did welcome his decision with open arms though, and made sure Vic had the space and resources to find his feet and start to excel in his new life.

3. Victor's connections bought a lot of high-top clients into Ron's clubs and a lot of money along with them. This made him much easier for Ron's twin brother Reggie to accept as the new man in Ron's life than previous partners had been, and even got him a small allotment of suited protection when he'd move between establishments of an evening.

4. Far beyond Reggie's tolerance, Ron's aunt May comes to dote on the blond something-or-other her nephew has taken up with. The moment she cottoned on to his favourite treats she'd be baking them minimum once a month for him, just to make sure he knew he was cared for beyond Ron's affection for him; that he was welcome in the family no matter what kind of background he came from.
