The witching hour was closing on Ron and Alex as they sat, shoulder to shoulder, knee to knee on their park bench near the street lamp with the fireflies. It was a relatively warm very late evening, but it was still coat weather. That quiet slur of three words into two was the first noise between them for half an hour. It went like that sometimes -- sometimes for even longer yet. But it didn’t matter. Ron knew they were talking in the quiet between voiced words in the way only folks like them could; with an empathy born of similar but different struggles borne out at once, separately but together.

“Did’ja know-” he repeated, jostling Alex’s knee gently with his. The arm nearest her eased slowly around her back, tucking round her - right arm cradling right arm. Ron’s left then came round her, her right hand his object. He caught it carefully between both of his hands, turned his knuckles into her palm then opened his hand atop hers.

“Tha’ me ma’m-- She taught me t’read palms.” Ron rubbed the pad of his thumb rhythmically against the very centre of Alex’s hand. “Want me t’giv yours a look?”

I cannot believe there's absolutely no way to watch free shows and movies anymore, there are too many paid streaming platforms and pirating websites have viruses and ads preventing you from watching it uninterrupted((.)) click away because I’d rather follow the rules and purchase media moving forward because it is too inconvenient. Seriously, free and no ads or viruses with 1080p streaming is DEAD.

While the Onion buying InfoWars is indeed extremely funny, very few of the posts I've seen commenting on the sale have mentioned that the families of the Sandy Hook victims apparently agreed to voluntarily reduce their lawsuit payout as part of a deal to ensure that the Onion would acquire InfoWars wholesale, rather than having the company broken up and auctioned off piecemeal, as the latter course could potentially have allowed some of those pieces to end up back in the hands of Alex Jones' cronies.

Like, yes, it is in fact very funny that InfoWars is now a wholly owned subsidiary of the Onion, but the real props go out to the Sandy Hook families who saw the opportunity and willingly gave up the additional millions of dollars that could have been realised by stripping InfoWars for parts in order to make that happen.

(EDIT: Fixed a sentence incorrectly suggesting that Clickhole is still affiliated with the Onion – it totally slipped my mind that they'd sold it back in 2020.)

alex hirsch truly is like. the guy ever. he created one of if not the most renowned and successful disney tva shows. he clowns on said network. he won his high school’s bird calling contest. he hates trump and is always advocating for people to vote. also prank calls republican/maga hotlines and was on the washington post for such. he voices half the cast of his own show and does a deranged mickey mouse voice he uses for like two separate shows. he owns a giant taxidermy buffalo. he and his sister were on an international improv team in high school. disney censored practically all queer themes in his show and now he has a nyt best seller (and created the website plus recent interviews ect ect) that imply there was something going on between that fuck ass triangle and ford. a straight man creating good old man yaoi. creates the craziest rabbit holes to send the fandom down probably primarily fueled by adhd and coffee. he probably has his flannel sewn to his body atp and has thousands of sticky hands on the wall in his house. i could go on but he’s just truly such a interesting guy
