ok i am a hypocrite when i say this because i do enjoy the rainworld plushes and do own them and like them a lot, but i will say this. I'm not fond of the CUTE-IFICATION of RAIN WORLD because i think it just doesnt capture its original art direction and style. rain world isnt a cute game, its creature designs CAN be cute i find a number of them very cute but theyre very clearly not like. embodying cute, its not designed specifically to be cute to a wide array of people. rain world also has a very street art, urban feel to all of its art and its designs especially felt in joar jakobsson's concept art for the game. and the way everything is created, whatever im going on a tangent

i dont like how the lizard plushes have their eyes pushed back. part of why i find the lizard designs so charming is the detail that their eyes are far up their face. anyways heres an edit i did to make the lizard plush resemble the in game sprite more closely.
