ended up finally drawing the character that has been bouncing in my head for the past month

her pose ended up a bit more sassy than i had intended, and idk about her skirt at all, might have to change that at some point

don't even know if i'll ever actually write or draw the story she's supposed to be part of XD since it would be a lot of work, especially if in comic form (and that would probably be better since some scenes i have in mind work better in a visual medium)

anyway! she's an information handler on a starship the protagonist of the story ends up on! her visor is basically an augmented reality headset that lets her see data around her. the gloves have integrated controls that work with the headset and let her manage data by moving it around and write on an invisible keyboard

information handlers work together with people onboard and out on the field, searching data banks for necessary information, then conveying that data forward. they also help with astrogation and comms, and use the ships sensors to scan their surroundings.

Nungal is the adopted daughter of the starship's captain, and has been living on the ship her whole life. she is smart and reliable, and better at her job than most military infohands. however, outside her job she is pretty withdrawn, and while she does get along with rest of the crew, she prefers to spend her time alone. it takes some effort for protag to earn her trust

what also makes her stand out is how she is never seen without her uniform and gear, even on the rare days off. there IS a reason for that but i'm kinda on edge whether i wanna talk about it now or save it for later, tho i can say it is kind of a protective shell between her and the outside world

He does! He brags about Timmy's success to every person within the neighborhood's vicinity. Mr. Turner loves how successful his son is! It really secures his reputation at the neighborhood HOA meetings they host at their house.

Timmy's worked very hard to gain more successes than failures. The more successful he is, the greater his family's social standing!! And the less he gets to overhear his dad ranting to the neighborhood about his failures.
