JESUS FUCKING CHRIST. I'm surprised I got this done as fast as I did tbh but BAM HERE IT IS. I got possessed like two days ago with the dialogue for this and then sat back like "....I could comic it out" and then that won the 'which mini project?' poll so HEREEEE YA GO. Took a grand total of like 9 hours to bang this puppy out. My wrists are so mad right now. A good portion of this dialogue is entirely based on my random thoughts/theories/headcanons yadda yadda. I'm very normal as you can tell.

finally got around to finishing her ref. I do like how she turned out. I did change her design a little bit, e.g. the markings on her face and her eyes, as well as changing the colour of her paw pads. Og post with her in (and her og design)

under the cut is her without the clothes. Nothing is there (no privates), but putting it under the cut just in case.

I basically drew her clothes on a different layer, so I can toggle them and then draw other clothing on her if I want too.

i never knew anyone would actually want a full series, but i’m totally down for a whole series thing! tbh idk when i’ll get around to it or if it’s even in the best interests of the general vibe of this account to do a big series because of my whack schedule. but i can give my own little opinions on how they met and stuff, and would be happy to do rambles or a line of works based on what people may wanna know!

i hc them as having met at shiv’s wedding as a whole roman being shiv’s ‘man of honor’ and reader being tom’s ‘best woman’. i can totally see small-town (maybe southern, maybe just ‘poor’ in comparison to rome) reader being old pals with midwestern social climber tom through some fucked up twist of fate.

through another fucked up twist of fate, i see caroline loving her. the scene where she tells roman he should marry tabitha would probs become caroline telling roman that reader is a ‘good one’, he should do something about it, make something happen, cave into the ‘maid of honor and best man’ trope. which roman would then correct as, “Man of honor and best woman, Mom.” reader tries to brush it off by reminding caroline that he’s with tabitha (without knowing it’s more of an open, friends-pretending-to-fuck thing) — very girl’s girl.

roman kinda just likes her immediately, the vibes match. i imagine a scene on a balcony, reader getting fresh air, not used to a huge destination wedding at a huge fucking archaic castle, filled to the brim with the fussiest snakes in the viper’s nest. roman coming out, asking if she wants to smoke, “Uh, no thanks but, go ahead?” and he does, “You sure? Well, sure you don’t mind and also. Like, no smoking? Virgin lungs or something?” and they talk and laugh, and when they go back in is when he finds out about the shuttle accident and sorta doesn’t give a fuck? poor gerri, the accident-prone roy is in puppy love with the groomswoman and she’s left to clean up his messes.

roman dances with reader and kinda tries to ignore any and everything. i’d imagine they move both shockingly fast and slow, like reader stays with tom per his request for a couple weeks because she doesn’t have a place in new york, but when the tomshiv tension gets too high, roman kinda relocates her to an en-suite spare room in his penthouse a door down from him. hires people to fix everything up for and with her, starts a list in the kitchen of shared groceries, movie nights at least twice a week.

‘fast’ as in when reader gets hired at waystar as the family’s (cough cough, roman’s) in-house attorney (because if roman needs anything, he needs a personal attorney that isn’t just a for-hire, white-collar shark, but someone in close contact with the family overall, and that’s reader’s opt-in), she’s accidentally opted in to sharing an office with roman, who is generally thrilled that his dad has given him a new play toy. his dad is more of the belief that reader is fresh meat in a skirt, in a, “Romulus, make sure the girl doesn’t get eaten alive,” way. ‘fast’ as in roman takes her out for dinner at ‘their place’, an italian restaurant with the best pasta in new york, he says. ‘fast’ as in, at that same place for the first time (what he calls their ‘first date’ despite reader being entirely unaware it was ever a date), they both ran into one of his dad’s old ‘buddies’ who she knows better than to ask much about, and roman pulled a ‘prank’ by saying the two of them were engaged — and she went along with it, though unconvincingly.

and ‘slow’ as in there’s never really a discussion of what they are, it’s just roman saying, “I never fuck anyone else ever again and you never fuck anyone else ever again. That’s the deal, the fuckin’…thing we got goin’ on here.” he jokes about eloping but is also weird with stuff, ‘girlfriend’ is such a weird word, his weird internalized homophobia won’t allow the use of the word ‘partner’ without a visible cringe, so. it’s kinda nothing, unofficially engaged, like ‘promised to each other’, an almost arranged marriage except voluntary, without a dowry.

so, there’s a ramble of little factoids i’ve imagined about roman and little miss priss reader, just in case i never get around to it — that’s all the intro important stuff i’m pretty set on!

HI hello hi thank you for appearing in my inbox I've actually been wanting to reach out for a while now but alas I have been too Intimidated to say anything 😔

But in any case, I've actually just finished watching s3 yesterday ahsfdfksjdh and if I'm being honest, I... wasn't too satisfied with it, truth be told? Like don't get me wrong the story arcs we did get were very good and I'm glad the comics were done proper justice in the adaptation, but just... idk I was really looking forward to having an aspec storyline to relate to and see myself in, and the base concept of Isaac feeling like his friends are leaving him behind for their romantic partners is so relatable, but then it felt like the series itself seemed to have forgotten about that whole concept, and what we got was almost like reading one of those "what is asexuality?" pamphlets that are meant for people who don't even know what queer means.

I dunno, maybe I'm being mean here. After all, Heartstopper isn't about Isaac's story, this is acknowledged even with the original comics, so the fact that we get even this much in the show should already count for something. Still I can't help but feel like we were robbed of something that could have been so good if it got the proper time to develop into a full story. Idk.

That being said, I did enjoy the season overall! It was really great to see how life isn't just about cuddly romance and romance solving every issue on the surface of the planet. I esp liked Elle's trans-focused plotline and how it highlighted that sometimes you can love someone from the bottom of your heart and still not completely understand what they are going through (see: Tao) but you still have to try regardless. I did cry at a few parts tho like damn this season was emotional ahskdfjdh

Anyway, what are your thoughts abt s3? Did you like it? What are your thoughts on Isaac's arc?

The semester thus far has been okayish, not the best but def better than last year lol. I've started working on plans for after uni ends and damn thinking abt the future is stressful sometimes 😩 but hey if everything goes right I might be able to move out of the country in about a year, so I suppose that's nice (if not terrifying to think about)?
