I just wrote the scene where Vox asks Valentino if he's a communist, and honestly, I think it would be hilarious if Val were a communist.
Vox learns about it during their fourth sleepover (I assume they started seeing each other not long after Val's death, when he wasn't bourgeois and still held some of his beliefs). That revelation causes Vox's existential crisis because he can forgive being a rapist, murderer, and queer, but a communist? He vents about it to Alastor because you know how angry some people get when you suggest that maybe ten people shouldn't own all the money? And Alastor, who is of course an anarchist, says something like, "But you said he was stupid!" That sends Vox spiraling because apparently, he's weirdly attracted to men who are red in more than one way.

it always comes back to the gods having this big picture view of the world with no sentiment for any particular mortal living in it. "i don't know what will happen once we are chased away but i trust things will balance themselves out" how can you say that to a group of people who will be trapped on this planet during this completely ambiguous and almost certainly calamitous "balancing" process

In fairness, Wren, Miraak can’t be blasted by fire and be mostly fine like you can… also it hits like 40 degrees Fahrenheit and he starts sweating

I saw a post about this a hot minute ago and I'm so mad I can't find it BUT. While I LOVE Present Mic as a popular radio personality, there isn't really that much concrete evidence to support that idea. (Which, to be fair, there isn't a lot of concrete evidence about the careers/public perception of a lot of pros outside of All Might, Endeavor, sorta Hawks, etc., so you can pry that headcanon out of my grasp with a crowbar and so on.) That being said, I think a really fun angle to explore re: Present Mic as a radio host-pro hero-UA teacher (that I may or may not have the bare bones of a fic about👀) is the idea that Mic debuted as a very successful hero and entertainer, and experienced pretty steady growth in both aspects of his career for a few years before he took a teaching position at UA.
Hero rankings are based on incidents resolved, and can be damaged by taking any amount of time off (such as when the Wild Wild Pussycats took, what? A couple of months off from hero-ing? and their ranking plummeted by several hundred places). Teaching is time consuming; it's the kind of job that often necessitates 'bringing work home' with you in the form of grading, lesson planning, etc. Obviously it would cut into Mic's focus on his hero work and his radio show, and obviously that would affect not only his actual ranking but how much attention his career/persona garnered. After all, there is an influx of new heroes every single year when hero courses across the country graduate. It takes work to stay relevant in this universe.
So now I'm thinking of like. Present Mic but with the level of fame/popularity of a celebrity who was big a handful of years ago, but you don't hear so much about anymore. Like, yeah, they're still active, and still have a (often very dedicated) fanbase, but they've kind of been shuffled out of the spotlight a little bit. This also makes his lackluster reception at the entrance exam so much funnier imo, because those students would have been like 8-9 when he stopped just doing hero/radio stuff and started teaching, but they're teenagers now and Present Mic is sooo not in anymore.

Childe loves it when you call him nicknames or terms of endearment. he's the one who started it first, playfully calling you "comrade" when you first became friends and transitioning into softer words, like "love" or "starlight". he adores seeing you duck your head, lightly punching him in the shoulder as you mutter about how mushy he is. yet you're unable to hide the small smile on your face and the warmth in your cheeks, and with a laugh he'd sweep you off your feet into a hug, brushing the tip of his nose with yours and grinning cheekily. you'd always sigh, flustered from his blatant displays of affection but a little pleased all the same. once Childe got stuck in Foul Legacy though, he lost his voice and with it, his ability to call you sweet nicknames. he tries, he really does, even if you don't ask him to, but it's a struggle to even say your name, the words getting stuck in his throat and coming out as sobs until you rush over and wrap your arms around him, hushing him gently and stroking his hair. you tell him that it's alright, you know what he's trying to say, but he hates the wordless whines and trills that come out of his throat. so to fill the silence, you begin to come up with names of your own. you're not naturally talkative, so at first they simply stayed in your head as you gazed at Childe, affection shining in your eyes, until the day you were snuggling, Childe happily nudging his head against your hands to the point you nearly tripped and fell over. "Sweetheart, please!" it slipped out as you laughed, the weight on your hands immediately vanishing as Childe pulled back and stared at you in shock and awe, before his single crystalline eye filled with tears and he pressed his head to your chest, whimpering and hiccupping not in sadness, but in overwhelming joy. since then you often use terms of affection, singing them into the house when you return home from work, errands, anything- everything from "sweetheart" to "my darling" to the playful "Sir Fluff". and Childe adores it to say the least, preening and happily fluttering his wings in pride, because it reminds him that he's your beloved Abyssal moth, that there is someone who loves him and doesn't think he's a monster. if you're ever cuddling and you mumble one of you nicknames, his purring increases by a factor of at least 10. and when you're asleep, he practices, whispering over and over again. something simple, to not strain his voice, but still with all the affection he holds for you- "my love, my love, my love, my love"- so that maybe one day he can say it back to you again.

Normally I don't recommend fanfics but I've been reading the akechi-centric p5 fanfic "the green-eyed monster" and I feel like the low kudos amount it has vs how well it's written is kind of insane. Like I know it isn't something that most people would read (plot-heavy casefic featuring almost no major p5 characters and only a hint of any kind of shipping), but the way the author utilizes minor p5 characters in a way that elaborates on them while still keeping them true to what we see of them in-game is genuinely impressive to me. It also has a really interesting take on the popular "akechi gets erased from public cognition after the end of the game" headcanon!!
