Short story from my gf under the cut:

"-I'M TIRED OF THIS!" He bellowed, rising from his chair and loosening his ever-so-tight grip on Zooble's spindly neck. "I INITIALLY THOUGHT THIS THERAPY SESSION WOULD BE LESS MUNDANE! BUT NOW, I GUESS I NEED TO FIND A NEW CAREER PATH!"

Zooble leaned back on the chaise lounge, grumbling incomprehensibly as they lightly massaged the area where Caine had strangled them.

"...That's the whole point of therapy, though. It's meant to be mundane. And sad." They attempted to explain.

Grunting, Caine flapped his hands a bit to silence them. "WELL, THERAPY IS REALLY BORING, THEN! I SHOULDN'T HAVE BOTHERED WITH THIS IN THE FIRST PLACE! NOW, IF YOU'LL EXCUSE ME, I NEED TO GO CHECK IF ANYONE'S BEEN POSSESSED YET-ow."

Zooble looked up. Caine had been flying towards the door backwards, yet he'd rammed into someone by accident, and had consequently dropped onto the floor in submission. In sync, both of them looked up at the person at the door.

...Ragatha was standing there, holding a tray containing glasses of lemonade aloft with one hand, still humiliatingly-clad in the maid outfit that Caine had given her (tasking her to be his "super amazing therapist assistant who just stays in the background and does other stuff"). She fixed the ringmaster with a steely glare and pointed at Zooble.

"Caine, stop acting like a toddler. You promised you'd give them therapy. So do it."

"I'VE GONE BACK ON MY PROMISE! NOW GET ME OUT OF THIS ROOM!"

I think it’s such a neat detail that Ekko had to be sent to a world where he could see what life could be like, which motivated him to go back and save his own again, and Jayce was sent to a world where he could see what life will be like, if he didn’t take proper action. They were both sent to a place that opened their eyes to work on their own world- Ekko, so he could try and bring that peace similar to how his original vision was with his firelights tree that he saw through that other universe with powder, and Jayce, to open his eyes to the destruction his and viktor’s inventions and the arcane brought, so he could stop viktor from succeeding.

I know this has already been said probably a dozen different ways by so many people, but I’m rewatching the episode right now so it’s fresh in my mind.

Eddie pissed me off this episode.

He gets so angry and defensive about Buck’s actions. Then when Buck pulls through for him, he doesn’t even say thank you? Nor does he apologize for his actions, simply says “sorry you had to give him back” in reference to the dog.

I think we can all agree that Buck was childish, but like accusing him of spying and saying Buck was trying to make Eddie choose between him and Christopher? Not what Buck was trying to do at all. And when Buck outs him to Bobby about moving, Eddie says IT FEELS LIKE A WEIGHT HAD BEEN LIFTED OFF HIS CHEST. And then sarcastically thanks Buck. Was Buck trying to help Eddie when he called him out? No. But, Eddie, at least admit it helped you take the step to talk to them. Which in my opinion he should’ve done a lot sooner.

I’m just going to say it, Eddie felt like he didn’t know Buck at all this entire episode. Like they’re supposed to be best friends and Eddie cant even tell Buck’s hurting. And even when Buck admits he has been having a hard time, EXPLICITY, that’s when Eddie accuses him of making him choose?? When did he ever say that?? He never once just ASKED Buck why he was doing these things.

I admit that it was necessary to call Buck out for his petty actions, but doing it in such a callous way? Felt so awful. Does your best friend not deserve the benefit of the doubt?? By the end of the episode there’s still no comfort from Eddie about how they’ll keep in touch or that they are going to stay friends. NOTHING to reassure him.

AND after all of that Buck helps him anyway!!

Only to find some crumbling old ruins, and they just stand there for a few minutes feeling sad all over again, because even though they’re home now, their home away from home is gone forever-

This is Flint. Zi use zi/zim pronouns and is the second youngest in the group. Zi's not really close to anyone but prefers to hang out with Eerie. Zir name comes from the way they were made which is flint knapping. v
