this is a TARGETED attack . being a fashion designer came with some perks , he can admit that much . the chance to travel , to work with public figures and to have the privilege to take an extensive leave to tend to the other half of his life — unfortunately the other half of his life is being that of a ' superhero ' but if he could , he'd choose to spend his time with his son for most of it . but those days all of a sudden felt numbered as much as there was the occasional rivalry in the fashion industry , assassinations were a rarity ( Gianni Versace he recalls ) and Gabriel Agreste had made no enemies in the business . that's what he knew of and , this notion is put into question when one moment he's observing Adrien's class take a gander at his studio during their school trip and the next moment there's ringing in his ears and specks of blood on the floor as he rises from the dust and debris .

eyes fluttering at the oncoming headache but that all disappears when he looks up and sees the chaos and sees Adrien unconscious . he feels tears well up in his eyes quickly crawling to his son's side amidst the shock . the once drowned out screaming of children now penetrating his ears . he takes the boy in his arms , checking him over . looking for that horrifying sight of crimson and by some miracle Adrien is fine... just knocked out . Nathalie is already at his side , knowing what he plans to do and he hands her Adrien , knowing she'd do the rest . and as soon as Nathalie , Miss Bustier and the rest of Adrien's class had gone is when his passive perception notices the tell - tale sign of an intruder or rather... intruders had entered the room he was in from the still dissipating smoke , shattered glass and broken wall of the three story building they were in .

the remnants of his and Emilie's past had finally caught up to him . a forgotten cult refusing to no longer be dormant . they've discovered his IDENTITY . when he sees the symbol of the previous villainous black cat symbol flash before his eyes he strikes tenfold . the button up shirt and slacks are replaced with the royal blue and golden highlights of Prussian Blue as he strikes with his fan , knocking each of the three dark figures coming at him back with varying maneuvers . their persistence forcing him to take a different approach that has him taking one of the silk fabrics draped on a mannequin , twisting one of the culprits' wrists and waist in it and throwing them against one of the studio's cutting tables knocking them unconscious and revealing the girl that had been hiding behind it .

" Marinette...?! " he wasn't asking out of fear of her finding out his identity . he was scared she was still here — a little girl amidst danger .

There aren't a whole lot of universal before-bed customs, even when one just talks about a single city, like Aree! okay first things first get the obvious out of the way i wore a fun sundress and looked v cute today :]

listened to a cavetown album (worm food?? the one with frog and fall in love with a girl in it) and it was a vibe! i like his songs but i haven't really sought them out besides the handful i especially vibe with, so that was neat to branch out a bit

did some dishes! and laundry! and i folded my laundry like immediately after it was done!!!! whoo!!!!

i also switched my wardrobe over from warm months to cold months and i'm so excited to wear my cute cozy clothes alksdjfa;sldkfns (also it was less of a big task than i'd thought it was going to be which was nice)

kind of connected then i cleaned up my room a bit!!! just a bit but i feel way better about it :D

i also split both lunch and dinner with my sisters which was fun :^)
